Axew, Frigibrax (back to back shinies! saw the Axew while in battle with Frigibrax), Sneasel, Komala, and Wattrel

funnily enough I was only actively hunting Frigibrax lol and forgot Fraxure + Axew spawned nearby and got lucky with two lil dergs! Wattrel was a lovely treat as well! it was the first shiny I originally got in Scarlet from my first time doing outbreak hunts so it's got a special place in my heart ♥

i think watercolor wld be less daunting if it didnt require special paper, which is Obvious but I dont even mean it in the "i dont wanna waste the good paper" way, more like I'll doodle aimlessly in my sketchbook and if a Nice Drawing happens to come out of me as a result, and I feel like painting over it in gouache, I will simply do that... watercolor is scary bc i feel i have to go into the Specific Special Paper with a plan and I rarely have plans

#like i cant just aimlessly doodle on the special paper bc thats a waste if i only wanna color one drawing #also cant do this with watercolor sketchbook for the same reason #does dis make sense....#the other day when i painted that Talon i did so with the goal of painting him #and the og drawing was stiff and ugly so thats why it came out so bad #then i realized i cld just draw as usual (no pressure) and paint over anything later #i was easing up on watercolor anxiety (lol) when i realized that it doesnt have to be a complex painting‚ i can just use watercolor #to color in any drawing i want.... doesn't have to be a big deal #but then Yes It Does. bc in order to do that it has to be drawn precisely onto that stupid rough special paper #dude arches cold press is just the exact same as the other cold press block i have #so u can actually draw on hot press but it feels like painting on cardstock. and cold press is better for paints but u cant actually #draw on it. ok #how does anyone do dis shit 😭
