So this IS HEAVILY INSPIRED by lfls by @eternalglitch , And this was supposed to be the alternate ending of that once episode, that is clash of the mutanimals. Seeing raph get picked by his controlled friends (Rockwell and Slash) and getting taken by them made me like ooh angst, and the fact they picked raph since he has that fighting spirit, and is a great warrior amongst his brothers (dw the bros' are great warriors as well frfr) , AND THAT ONE SCENE SJDFASF WHERE RAPH WAS STRAPPED ON A TESTING TABLE WITH HIS FRIENDS RIGHT BESIDE HIM JUST STANDING THERE

while he tries to snap his friends out of it he tries to "wriggle" off the tight straps, and they just stood there as if they don't hear his calls (ofc their controlled duhhh)

AND THE PLACE WHERE THEY PUT THE BRAINWORM, (He def will be scared of worms after that ig), SO yeah after that happens Tigerclaw tells shredder that they should put a "shock" collar on him if he ever gets out of the control of the brain worm, and so shredder agrees and tells the fly man (I forgot his name..) to create a shock collar, and so he creates it using some kraang tech ( Idk how they got it but they got it lesgo) He created a manual button for the shredder and others in case of emergencies, There are like 4 or 3 modes or levels of the shock (Idk yet I'm thinkin' abt it)

So yeah, raph wakes up in that weird room, (Where they fought that shredder in that ep) And so Shredder tests the brain worms performance ( Yeah I forgot how it goes on the episode so yeah imagine it) And the moment the crew ( Leo, Mikey, Donnie, Leatherhead) Barge in raph was about to end shredder but he stopped when shredder said enough, Leo shouted "Raph do it end this!"

Donnie says "What is he waiting for?!" (I think?) And then yeah SHredder says raphael is mine now to control,

Then leo runs to shredder to slash him but then raph stops him, Leo shouted "Raph snap out of it man, Shredder's the enemy!" Raph counters it and says

And they fight and so on yadayada,

Leo goes like "raph you gotta break Shredder's control, this isn't you! Where's that crazy temper?"

Ok anyone super familiar with me knows that my #1 shinji romance is shinji/hakupo tsukishiro. i had seen both of them used separately in an ancient utau medley video. neither of their voicebanks were used very well. but i was obsessed with their designs. they were my favourites out of the bunch and contrasted so well w each other so i made them duet suki kirai . they don’t have super concrete personalities so it’s really fun to imagine them as a silly ‘opposite-type’ romance where they endearingly bother each other and act as each other’s grounding force. Even more fun if you consider a UTAUniversity or similar setting where shinji is a rowdy and delinquent band club member and hakupo is a carefree, slacker-type guy :*]

I’m surprised I’m not more into shinji/nitarou otodamaya because that’s definitely the most ‘canon’ character duo. It’s fun to imagine them as childhood friends who are really close and not afraid to be affectionate w each other… and since im a gay guy with a bad habit of crushing on friends i know that theres definitely some kind of deep-seated longing in one or both parties. Maybe they had something once but continued on as friends. Maybe they fooled around one night and never spoke of it again. Maybe nothing has happened yet but it inches closer. But I definitely enjoy their dynamic of ‘reckless guy being an enabler to his voice of reason’ lolol

A pair I’ve been considering a LOT recently is shinji/piggy!!!! Piggy’s VP (buuta) is in the vkeiloid circle and thus she counts as part of their entourage. to me. I’m really bad at distinguishing whether a character pairing is platonic or romantic and dont really care at this point. Shinji and piggy in my brain go on shopping trips and dinner dates and out to karaoke. it’s interesting 2 imagine them bonding with each other over living in the city and being part of subculture scenes. I imagine they have a really compatible dynamic where they can talk really easily to each other and are just really loose and comfortable being weird together.

Shinji/soho is another really funny one I consider being similar in nature to him and piggy. Soho to me is kind of a free agent where he’s noncommittal but affectionate towards anyone he’s friends with. Shinji is probably one of soho’s closest friends where he feels comfortable being totally real to him. they’ve seen everything and love each other dearly. But like at the same time soho is also in a fucked up love triangle with nitarou and kotaro because they’re all friends and in a band and theyre all kind of gay about it

^and of course on that tangent i am also dedicated to the idea that Yes Everyone In Shinji’s Band Is Kind Of In Love With Each Other. or at display a lot of affection and are just generally really close. I like to think that they all live in a cramped apartment together with a really big bed that they all cuddle together in. I have a lot of feelings about the individual relationships between band members but i need more time to think about that before i write it down lolol. but in the meantime here’s an awesome chart showing some of it. i bet i even forgot some of it but oh well

things i noticed about various character themes in dgs

hi guys. I cant motivate myself to work on my chemistry at all :'(. Anyways the onlhy thing i am good at determining by ear is meter and thats what unites all three (four?) of ryuu's pieces. Overture, Objection, Prelude, n Pursuit are all in a steady 4. Also instead of just follwing 1 2 3 4 theyre all at least majority 8th note rhythems (1 + 2 + 3 + 4 +) or 1e+a2e&a which i bet serves to unite all these pieces or goes with the overall style which is out of 18th century 4 voice lines which these use 4 voices i think (orchestra) but most of those r like quarter notes so its probs not a time thing but this also again reflects the unity of ryunosukes character throughout the game.

kazumas themes on the other hand....... the original one is also def a steady four but his nocturne theme is like super slow and i would personally write this as a 2 but count 4... grand return is basically samurai w/ a mission so thats also a four (maybe i will listen closer later) BUT revived prosecutor on the other hand is def compound its got a p lilting feel... i think its 12/8 which is basically just evil 4/4 which def reflects what happened to his charcater (lost his memories) but it still contains the core rhythm of his theme cuz like hes still him when his memories are gone... also one more thing i think his main motif goes do re fa la(le?) or in intervals loike M2 M3 M3 i think but anyways i think they skip over 3 which is like super important bc it can change a chord (triad but whayever) from major to minor and this specific motif still holds its essence in both pieces bc of that i think. theres like a rhythmic device thats specifically this but i forgot

revival also contains elements of baroks theme (harpsichord) and the meters having some element of a 1 2 3. If devils get their power from humans, if humans were wiped out, would that mean the devils will be wiped out as well? And if this is the case, is that what the death devil (calling her that for now even if fujimoto is pulling a funny one on us) wants? Does she want to cause not just the end of mankind but the end of devilkind as well, including herself? Since she is a primal fear, i bet theres no other way for her to die, and i wouldnt put it past her to Want to die. It would probably be something super poetic and honorable to her. So this extinction event might just be an elaborate suicide for her because its the only way she Can die. As long as humans fear death, she will keep coming back, and humans are never going to stop fearing death, so the only way to die would be to kill all the humans? (or get eaten by chainsaw man ig. I forgot about that part lol). Also if this is the case why did she wait until now if she had all of human history to start this?

Anyway thats what i was thinking when i read it last week, but this weeks translation is kind of different. Obviously i dont know japanese so theres a loss of information for me but based on this official translation it seems like the death devil, if thats what she is, is not working alone. Fami says shes the ‘first of the devils who will shepherd the world to the ultimate terror’, while last week the translation said something like she was the devil that was the origin of all fear. So i'm not sure what to make of this new translation rn. I mean i dont think it necessarily contradicts what i was thinking before, maybe there are a bunch of devils that follow death and are willing to die for her or want to die themselves? idfk

All the evidence seems to point to her being the death devil, but IF fujimoto is pulling a fast one with us, my guess would be that she could be the pain devil as well. Pain can drive people to suicide, though the people she killed didnt seem to be in pain, even mental pain, they seemed to be more of in a trance, so take this with a grain of salt. I’ve seen people hypothesize that she is the depression or suicide devil, but I dont think that those devils would be primal. If the eternity devil or the cosmos devil are not primal i dont see how the depression devil would be primal. and i think the fear of depression would at the very base of it be a fear of emotional pain, so i feel like that would fall under pain’s jurisdiction.

The reason why i brought up the pain devil originally wasnt actually because i was thinking she was gonna be a part of the story, but was actually due to the “origin of all fear” comment that fami said in the last translation, that seems to have disappeared in this one lol so idk. At the time i was thinking that i disagree with fami/fujimoto saying (or implying?) that death is the origin of all fear (not that it would have changed the writing or that it mattered or anything, just that its my personal opinion like. Philosophically. Or whatever) The reason why i think this is, yeah it's true that when you boil down a lot of fears down to their very basics, they can be said to be derived from a fear of death. But if someone is in so much pain, death becomes a release for them. I feel like pain is almost as strong or even just as strong of a motivator as death is when people are motivated by fear. So idk! I dont know if i have a point with any of this anymore.

Anyway another question is, is this primal fear that showed up at the apartment in march of 1998, and the “great king of terror” that will descend in july of 1999 the same devil? Or are they different? And if so which one is the death devil and which one is a different primal fear?

I forgot what voice i used for my character but i think it was some generic dude voice, i have been a little out of practice with my deeper voices though. But my voice is usually pretty deep anyway, i pitch my voice up a bit when im at work bc i dont want to scare the old timers too much. I hate to admit that my favorite voices to try to do are meatwad from aqua teen hunger force and stitch, theyre like the same voice to me 🤭 i do it for funsies, but in my teen years i did it a lot bc my friends gave me approval for it 🤭

This is a second best, best would be smelling it on your neck<3 theres a certain cologne i fell in love with years go that ive been trying to get my hands on, its polo red by ralph lauren it had smelled so wonderful to me.

Candles are a lot to take care of so i get it. I just have two main rules i follow for the life of my candle and the safety of my cats. Im the type of person where if i see soot in your candles i try to clean that out to lessen fire risk bc they can be dangerous, its something ppl never notice but thats ok i just want them to be safe. I used to play with the wax like that too!! It low key led to me trying to experiment a little with wax play which was interesting to say the least.
