I think there is a special something between them, but I won't call it dating. I think that the two of them have an understanding about the other because they both have been through some really tough shit and they feel comfortable around and with each other. But to call it dating is a little childish, in my opinion. They're both almost 30. They both deserve to be happy and in a healthy relationship and if it happens to be with one another, than more power to them. If not, that's okay, too. But I do think they have a really good friendship. And that makes me very happy for them both.
