Rusl: well, I was out looking for my son when I found a blue portal in his home.

Rusl: when I went in, I found myself here surrounded by other men who were also searching for someone.

Rusl: I take it you were searching for someone before you found yourself in an unfamiliar world. Yes?

Rusl: who?

Benji: …my son…

Rusl: heh, so we ARE in the same boat.

Benji: no. You don’t understand. I’m sure YOU’RE worried about YOUR son… but… MY son is…

Rusl: let me guess, he’s a hero of Hyrule?

Benji: … how did you know that?

Rusl: my son is also a hero of Hyrule. As is everyone else’s missing people.

Benji: wait, you lost me. How is that possible?

Benji: I thought there was only one hero?

Rusl: yes, but not across time! My theory is that we’re from different eras.

so on the subject of the "Crowley is secretly Revaan/Laverne/Levin/please Twst give us his name" theory, I think my feelings are best summed up as "I don't really buy it, but it's funny". like, in all seriousness, I'm not opposed to it; I have enjoyed the writing in Twst so far and I'm willing to trust that whatever happens will, you know, make sense and not be terrible. but I'm just not really convinced by the current evidence! maybe that'll change once we learn more, we'll see!
