I am so soft for father figure Shinsou, thank you for giving me something I didn’t know I needed. Just doing everyday things with him and him being soft towards you child is giving me life.
Casual. That's the word you used to describe what the meeting should be. Casual.
"He's a good boy, for the most part." Your bag is already stuffed full of toys and towels and other miscellaneous things that Shinso can't imagine you'll need. "His dad spoils him, so he might be a little bratty at first- we're working on it. Well, I'm working on it. His dad is--"
You kneel down and start rummaging through your things.
"Uh, don't let him guilt you into buying him snacks, please. He's got a severe nut and seed allergy and it's just easier if I take care of it all. There's snacks in here, along with two epipens. There's two more in the red cabinet in the kitchen, just in case we ever need them. "
Somehow, you manage to wiggle out the sunscreen for your bag without collapsing the whole pile. You dollop a bit on your fingers.
"Once they get here, we'll go straight to the park and hang out there for just a little bit. The book says the first meeting should be short and we should give him other things to focus out so he doesn't stress out." Your shoulders are bunched by your ears. "It'll be super casual. Easy. No stress."
Shinso kneels down next to you and dips a finger in the sunscreen.
"No stress," Shinso repeats back, dotting the sunscreen on your nose. It's enough to urge a smile out of you.
"Sorry, I know I'm--" You toss your hands in the air, frazzled, but with a smile. "This is a big deal."
"I know it is."
"We've only been dating for eight months," you say/ "What if we're jumping the gun? I don't want to put him through this if-"
"I'm not planning on breaking up with you." Ever. Shinso wouldn't have agreed to this if he wasn't completely sure that you were the one for him. It's not that he doesn't like children, it's that he's never spent time with any. Only child, no cousins: he doesn't know anything about kids other than the fact he used to be one.
You reach other and dot Shinso's nose with sunscreen. Now, you're matching.
"You might break up with me after you see what I'm dealing with."
Shinso takes your hand. "I'm not going to leave because you have a kid."
"I was talking about his father," you heave out a sigh. "They'll probably be late, by the way."
-
They are late.
Significantly.
It's six hours past the allotted time, filled with weak excuses from you. The television has rolled into the second season of some trashy show, but neither of you are really watching.
"He always loses track of time," you repeat for the twentieth time, trying to hide the disappointment in your voice. Shinso is long past disappointed, well into the area of 'pissed'. Mostly at your ex, partially at you, for letting it happen.
"He's still not calling you back?"
"No," you say, just like you've said before. "It's my fault. I shouldn't have let him know about you, he's just-- I dunno. Playing games with me again."
It contextualizes a lot of your behaviors, actually. The anxiety about getting home, the days you go radio silent, the dates where you suddenly have to run off and collect your child: he imagines there's a lot of bullshit games that happen between you two.
"You let him treat you like this?"
"He's my baby's father. I can't just..."

A really stupid idea I had and I can't even decide where I want it to go 😩
Anyone of the first years heard from a guy in their club that their boyfriends bestfriends roommates cousins friend has a thing for Yuu and a bad reputation for using love potions, suddenly first year of your choice is taking his bodyguard duties for Yuu even more seriously than ever and watching them like a Hawk until one day Yuu seemingly receives a nice gift package from an "secret admirer" and the boys panic, snatching the treat from Yuu's hand and chowing down themselves because they're dumb and impulsive and in love.
What follows is either;
A. The "secret admirer" was actually Grim who wanted to do something nice for his Henchhuman by making them tuna filled muffins as thanks for their service and now not only did they inhale the worst cake ever, got a tantrum throwing Grim to appease.
B. There was a love potion in those cookies, but whoever laced them is actually kinda bad at potionology and they're "Puppy love" potions, cue our freshman acting like The Prince from Mirror Mirror (2012) when he had a puppy love potion. His reputation at school will never recover from this but its worth it because Yuu now looks at him like he's the sunrise itself for taking that bullet for him.
C. There was no love potion. No shady business. Just normal brownies and now a very upset Yuu. Even if they understood his concerns, do you think between their allowance and Grim's appetite they want to hear excuses for them stealing food from Yuu!? He promises he'll make it up to them just stop hitting him! 💦💦
D. There was no love potion.2 but man. These pretzels...really suck. The freshman almost feels bad for whoever sent them because if this was their pickup attempt then they lost before they even began. Wait, what? Yuu made these to send as a secret admirer to their crush!? Now he's got even more complicated feelings about this whole ordeal while Yuu sulks about how the guy they wanted to give these to just said they suck to their face.
E. There was no love potion.3 but Yuu doesn't have to know that. Now the Freshman is free to "pretend" all his flirting and affection is thanks to those croissants AND play the hero. Its full proof! Until Ortho runs a diagnostic to find a cure for him and reveals that there was no potion that is. Hey, he can always try and claim a placebo effect, right?💦
F. The love potion was actually an aphrodisiac and now Yuu has t[I AM BEATEN TO DEATH BY KING MICKEYS KEYBLADE]
So the problem with this ask is that I really love all of these options and they could all work for a small fic for each of the options. That being said, there are specific ones that suit certain first years more than others.
A. The Great Grim's Perfect Surprise- Ace
Floyd is the one who gives Ace the heads up that someone with a bad reputation was interested in Yuu. And hey that was technically true! It's just that Floyd also over heard Grim bragging about the cupcakes he made and had a brilliant idea.
It's the worst possible case scenario for Ace, the cake tasted horrible, Grim is throwing a tantrum, Floyd is there and he brought Jamil to laugh at him too. This fucking sucks he hates his life man. Well until you shoo everyone out and shush Grim with some praise before turning your focus to him.
You're so concerned about him it makes his heart hurt. You get him something to drink and fuss over him for the rest of the day in a way that makes him fall in love with you all over again. Those half hearted scolds about there being better ways to get rid of poison don't land at all, doesn't matter how he does it he'll keep you safe and that's a promise.
B. Puppy Love Potion- Jack
The captain of the track team tells Jack and Deuce together, he knows the two of them are your friends and that they'll make sure you stay safe. Unfortunately he's not fully aware of how... delusional Jack is about how not into you he is.
The puppy love potion has him acting like even more of a puppy than usual. His tail won't stop wagging and he is actually smiling at you, thank the seven he's so willing to listen to what you have to say so you can keep him in Ramshackle until the potion wears off. He manages to reclaim his reputation just fine, Jack's a scary fucking guy when he tries to be and you'd have to be really stupid to mess with him when he's in a mood.
... not that you can really tell the difference between puppy love Jack and normal Jack when the Ramshackle Prefect insists on looking at him like that. He must really hate his tail.
C. How Dare You Eat my Food- Deuce
Same as before: captain gives the heads up, Jack and Deuce are really concerned, and Deuce decides to do something about it because he's in love and doesn't want to see you get hurt.
He doesn't realize there was nothing wrong with them until you point it out and he's beyond heartbroken. Please you have to understand he didn't mean it! Sure those brownies were really good and yeah maybe he should have realized that they were normal about half way through the pan but- he's so sorry! He's not above getting on his knees to beg for forgiveness and especially not from you.
There is a rule in Heartslabyul about returning things after you take them, so as soon as Deuce learns he took your food he's already planning on replacing it. Maybe you would let him borrow your kitchen? He won't let you help since he's fixing his own mistake but he doesn't see why you can't hang out. You'll get fresh brownies out of it and he gets to look cool Task failed successfully?
D. This is... Adequate I Suppose- Sebek
Only someone with an actual death wish would come up with this sort of plan in Riddle's presence. He's screaming, the paddock is on fire, and no one is really stopping him because hey idiot deserves it and also has anyone seen where Sebek went? Would have thought he'd have something to say too given that whole "crush he has on the prefect thing"
Well that's because he's too busy eating your pretzels with a trademark look of disgust as he tells you about what happened at Equestrian club today. These suck, he has such high standards for what you are worthy of and if it weren't for the potential danger posed to you he never would have-
Your wry disappointment silences him immediately, his look of concern and shock is really cute so it sort of makes up for how much his words hurt. He's aghast, you have someone you... admire? Someone you are too shy to confess to? And you made them something with your own two hands, he actually wants to cry he's so embarrassed, jealous, and in love all at the same time.
"You shouldn't have to do this. You- You are the one who deserves to be pursed. But if it is something you wish to do-" He draws himself up into a proper knight's stance, stiff as board and deeply determined to be seen as reliable. Safe. A... friend if you will allow it and something more if he could be so blessed. "-then we shall begin training immediately! Back to the kitchen, human!"
E. Placebo Effect- Epel
Only someone with an actual death wish would come up with this plan pt. 2 except Leona is a lot more reasonable than Riddle with how he handles it. He tells Epel to go check on Yuu while he goes to dump the guy on Crewel. That way he doesn't have to be the one to fill out all of the annoying disciplinary paperwork.
So he knows by the time he shows up at Ramshackle that there really is no threat to your safety but still... this sort of opportunity is just too good to pass up. And he's such a good actor too, if this wouldn't get him in trouble with Vil he'd rub it in his dorm leader's face.
See Vil! He doesn't need no fancy manners or etiquette, Yuu's flushed and charmed by his old fashioned gentlemanly behavior. He's holding doors, pulling out your chair, giving you all of the compliments he thinks about but never says for fear of looking uncool. He even gets to bake apple pie with you until Ortho calls his bluff. Sure, he should have some shame, but this is Epel we're talking about. He claims the placebo effect and pretends to be super embarrassed while gauging your reaction for any trace of disappointment.
If he's satisfied with how sad you are he just might make it up to you with a real date~
Like I was saying all of these prompts could really work for any of them and- huh could have sworn there was a sixth one. Weird anyway thanks for the ask!
...
....
..... ok so now that the coast is clear:
Tumblr media
First thing's first, they're all mad as hell that someone tried to drug you with an aphrodisiac. That's so beyond disgusting, who does this guy think he is?
Ace's focus is entirely on you. He doesn't outright admit what's wrong, he actively teases you for being into him when you express concern as if it doesn't send a painful pang of arousal through him when you don't deny it. You have to make a move, he'll ask for it half serious half joke, but he wants you to do this because you want him and not as some sort of favor please don't say it like that- He starts taking shots at the other guy when he regains enough of his ego to flip you on your back and start taking the lead. Really, how stupid was that guy to think he had a chance when you only have eyes for him, prefect? Now don't you dare try to hide your cute expressions from him, he's been looking forward to this.
Jack is convinced he can just lock himself in his room and endure. He tries thinking of it as a training exercise, sure he might have had some... similar feelings before. Similar thoughts, painful dreams that felt real until he woke up alone, drenched in sweat, painfully unfulfilled and deeply embarrassed. But nothing can compare to the real you, he's almost angry that he ever thought that at all now that you're underneath him. He's so lucky that you're his mate, that he can bite into your neck and thrust into your body and have you accept him even as he locks you together in a sticky mess of sweat and slick. He's beyond embarrassed when he wakes up still balls deep with your fingers running through his matted hair. This would be the worst if he didn't have a cute, very human, bite of his own on his neck.
Deuce's anger is made so much worse by him being horny. The other guy is terrified, everyone around him is terrified Deuce is aware he's gone full delinquent and he can't seem to stop. By the time you find him his knuckles are bruised, he's sweaty, with rumpled clothes, and taking great heaving breaths unable to deny the effects he's feeling and asking you to forgive him. Deuce has an idea of what he wanted your first time to be like. He wanted to take you out on a real date, he wanted to be honorable with you. He didn't expect you to be the one to push him back against the shower stall and take him just as quick and dirty as he feels. You're so beautiful, he's so powerless in the face of your naked desire and very eager to please. Just tell him what you want him to do; he's all yours.
Sebek can't lie about how he feels to save his life. All of NRC knows he's horny because he's screaming about how not horny he is right now and how much he doesn't think your flesh looks super supple, bitable even seven he just wants to- Lilia doesn't let him ignore those feelings after confirming you aren't the slightest bit uncomfortable being the center of Sebek's attention. He's shy, in denial. He is proud of his honorable intent and self control. But he is in love with you and with that love comes a deep, fathomless desire edged with obsessive devotion that all fae pride themselves in. He needs your guidance, he's unused to this. That obsessive attention hangs on your every gasp and moan, when he finds a noise he likes he hammers at the source again and again until you reward him with the most wonderful noise of all. When the potion has worked its way through his system the hunger still remains; his appetite is voracious. A potion is nothing compared to his own desires, hopefully this little accident left you prepared.
Epel's anger is also made so much worse by being horny. But Leona already dealt with the scumbag so it's not like he can work out his aggression on the creep... so won't you let him take it out on you? He's completely serious, the drug has gone straight to his dick and he's not interested in pretending like he doesn't want you prefect. No taking care of it himself won't work, no don't be shy it really can't be anyone else. You want a real man? Well he's right here and he wants you something fierce. Epel wouldn't be this confident if he didn't have so much adrenaline running through him, but he can't bring himself to be embarrassed when he comes to his senses and sees you bent over your desk and much more out of breath than him. He's going to be riding this high for the rest of the year, and he's going to make sure you feel it for just as long too.

DP x DC Writing Prompt #9
"Are you sure about this?" J'onn asks, reading the discontent amongst the Kents. Clark and Lois each have a hand on their teenage son's shoulders, who several weeks prior was aged ten years old.
"We're sure," Clark says. He is not, nor is his wife. But his son is, who lays his hand on his mother's and squeezes. It is that surety that J'onn honors as he delves into the young (but not as young as he should be) man's mind.
The memories are hard to find but not gone, hidden behind what Jon can only see manifested as a glowing green wall. When he raises a tentative hand, the shield sparks green, but does no harm. Pushing through is like wading through the consistency of jello, which he finds an overall unpleasant experience. But he is unharmed as he passes through.
Before J'onn can sort through the memories he is all but sucked into the one at the forefront, where a Jon most similar in visage to the one recently returned perches on the edge of a building. Beside him lies a burger, partially unwrapped though uneaten, and a small soda.
As the memory builds out a sun sets on a small suburban town, and a muscled thigh knocks into Jon's, an older man with a shock of white hair and eyes the same light and color as the shield formed around these memories appearing. He's tall even sitting, likely about as tall as Superman, and looks to be in his thirties. A full body suit comprised of black and silver accents stretches across broad shoulders, a stylized D on his chest. He knocks his thigh into Jon's again.
"You said I couldn't go back," Jon says quietly.
"I lied," the man says lightly.
"You're lying now," Jon says, glaring at him. "I can hear your heart."
"Nice try, kiddo, I don't have a heart in this form," the man says, reaching a hand out, presumably to ruffle his hair. Jon dodges.
"I know you're lying. You would've told me. You would've helped me get home."
"Jon--"
"You're protecting Clockwork, aren't you?" Jon demands, eyes beginning to burn red. "That old coot decided it wasn't enough to play with you, he had to play with me too."
The man slaps a hand over Jon's eyes. "Breathe, like we practiced," he instructs firmly. Steam rises from where his palm meets Jon's eyes, but if it hurts he shows no indication. "In, 2, 3. Out, 2, 3."
Jon whimpers but heaves a breath, and the burst of red light dies down from between the man's fingers. His hand moves down to Jon's shoulder.
"I can't pretend to understand Clockwork's decisions," the man says, as tears begin to pool in Jon's eyes. "Frankly, I don't want to. I suspect they are hard decisions to make, sometimes."
"I don't get why you defend him," Jon says. "Dumbledore acting bastard."
"Language," the man says, lightly bopping him on the head. J'onn notes the boy actually winces, as if the blow hurts.
"I am upset with him, I hope you know that," the man continues. "But at the end of the day I'm also grateful. Because I got to meet you." He hooks an arm around Jon's shoulders, pulling him in. "And now you'll get to see your family again. And Sally, Arnold, and Damian!"
Jon sniffles, rubbing roughly at his face. He leans into the man's bicep. A trusted adult figure, then. One he's described his life to. A life, J'onn is sad to note, he appears to have lived for the past six years, as opposed to a sudden shift in appearance. Jon's next question all but confirm it: "Can I really go back? It's been so long. They'll be all grown up."
"Hey, of course you can," the man says, rubbing his shoulder. "I'm sure they've missed you so much. They'll be so happy to see you again."
Jon starts to smile. "I'm going home."
"You're going home!" The man laughs, shaking him.
"I can finally eat some decent barbecue again!"
"Hey!" the man protests, "The smoker blew up one time!"
Jon continues, beginning to get excited. "And Ma will make her jalapeño cornbread! I never could get it right, I can't wait for you to try it!"
J'onn notes the older man's smile fading, eyes growing sad.
"And Damian will definitely want to spar and oh, oh! With you on our side we can totally prank Batman! I bet Alfred will even help! And Mom gives the best hugs, Pops comes really close but Mom will be really excited to meet you, everyone will."
"Jon," The man says.
"I knew you'd be worried about it, but they'll want to meet you," Jon says, clocking his expression. "They'll be grateful. You, you helped me. You kept me safe and taught me how to be Superman. They'll love you, I promise."
"Jon, I can't go with you," the man says gently.
"I'm not saying you stay, but you can visit! I'm sure the Justice League can figure out a way to maintain a portal, they're super used to all that multiverse stuff. Once they have the coordinates, you can stop by whenever!"
"I can't go through the portal, Jon," the man says. "To other worlds, I'm a god. And gods can't interfere. The only reason I can continue to live here is because this is the world of my origin."
Jon gapes at him. "But--but,"
"You're going to see your Mom and Dad again," the man says. "And your brother, and grandparents."
"I can come here, then," Jon says desperately, pushing his way out of the man's arms. The man is already shaking his head. "I can!"
"You can't."
"Why, because Clockwork says so? He's a liar!"
"Because multiverse travel is never a good idea. If you got trapped here again--"
"I wouldn't,"
"You belong with your family,"
"You're my family!" Jon cries. The man freezes. "You, and Sam, and Jazz, and Tucker and Val and Ellie and Pops and Mads, you're all my family! I can't just leave you, I won't!"
"Oh kiddo," The man says, eyes wet. "I love you too. We all do."
"So I'll stay," Jon says decisively. "For all we know my world is a wasteland. Gramps wasn't exactly right in the head when I left. It's better to stay here."
J'onn notes a green vine unwinding from a nearby trellis. It slides down the eave towards the pair.
"You don't mean that," the man is saying.
"I'm sixteen. I can make my own decisions. I'm staying."
The man cups Jon's face. "Your parents did not have a choice in losing you. I'm willing to bet they're devastated. Because I'd be devastated, losing a kid as great as you."
"Maybe they're not even there," Jon says, but the words are half-hearted, and it clearly hurts him to say them.
"I know I seem like a pushover, but if I thought Clockwork was sending you back to anything less than your loving family, I'd destroy him first. And he knows that. They're going to be there, I promise."
"I don't want to go," Jon says. Behind him, the vine rises from the eave of its own will, poised like a cobra enchanted by a snark charmer.
"I know," the man says, eyes drifting to the vine. "I'm so sorry, Jon."
"For what?" Jon asks, as the vine attaches itself to the nape of his neck. His eyes roll back as he collapses into the man's arms. The man hugs him tighter than is strictly necessary.
J'onn expects the memory to now end, alongside Jon's consciousness. To his curiosity, it does not.
"For what it's worth," a young woman spits bitterly, vines supporting her weight as she slips over the side of the roof. "I still think this is horrible." Her eyes are red and miserable.
"Seriously, team punching Dumbledore in the face," A young black man says, appearing in the air supported by a woman almost identical in appearance to the man holding Jon, down to the suit colors. They land on the rooftop.
"Are you sure about this," the dark haired woman with powers over plants asks. "Because to be honest, Danny, I'm five seconds away from punching you in the face."
"Jazz won't speak to you for months," the girl, likely his sister, points out.
"Make it a year," the man says, crossing his arms.
The man, Danny, ignores them all. He cards a hand through Jon's hair. "He'll retain the experience, but not the memories?"
"Yes, he'll be a perfect little superhero, just as you taught him," the woman says, vines twisting agitatedly around her, wrapping around her thigh, wrists and neck almost punishingly.
"Sam," the man says. "He needs to go home. All of you know that."
"He doesn't have to forget us to do so!" the sister bursts, eyes flashing green.
"Remembering would be a torment," Danny says. "He'll know he was loved. That's enough."
"Danny," the plant woman says, sitting beside them both. She puts a gentle hand on his, both on Jon's back. "This is just a different torment."
"And if someone finds out?" Danny asks. He has been patient amidst their scorn, but now a tiny edge ekes into his voice. "A god's child, unprotected? Threatened? He would never stop looking for a way back, and being vocal about it could get him killed."
The others are silent.
"He'll be home. He'll be happy," Danny says. More powerful than a prayer. A directive. He raises his head past the child slumbering in his lap, past them all, face hardening, and says to J'onn: "And you will say nothing."
J'onn takes a step back, fear so thick he could choke on it flooding his very being. Thismanwillkillhim, thismanwillkillhim.
This man will reach through dimensions and kill him.
"Now, get the fuck out of my kid's head," Danny snarls. J'onn is pushed back with enough force he enters his own mind in a vicious whirl that leaves him physically on the floor, gasping.
"I'm sorry," he says as Superman rushes to lift him, and he's not sure who he's apologizing to. Green eyes will pierce his dreams. Vines will crush his throat in his nightmares, screaming silence, silence.
You will say nothing.
"I'm sorry," J'onn says, politely pushing Clark's hands away as he rises. He's already beginning to calm, because he understands. Those are consequences he will not face. He will do as directed. He looks at Jon Kent, bewildered but unharmed, clutching his mother's hand.
J'onn reaches down and dusts at his pants. "I'm sorry," he says evenly, ready to spin his tale. Perhaps the Kents will continue to seek their answers. Perhaps not. He will stay out of it either way. He has been warned.
You were loved by gods. And to keep you safe, they would quiet us all.

Tori Spring and Michael Holden head canons:
Michael and Tori are both autistic, though they express it differently. Michael's traits appear more outwardly visible, while Tori’s are subtler, perhaps because Solitaire is narrated from her perspective. We see her tendencies through her internal thoughts, actions, and reflections, all filtered through her own lens. I also think Michael may have ADHD as well.
Michael and Tori are in a queerplatonic relationship. It is NOT a romantic or sexual relationship. Their kiss at the book's end feels out of place; their connection doesn’t need that romantic signal. Queerplatonic relationships like theirs are as valid and significant as romantic ones. Michael is Tori's person, and Tori is Michael's person. I think what they have is beautiful, and it shouldn't be meddled with.
Michael is one of the only people who is able to make Tori laugh - and I mean REALLY laugh. She doesn't hide her face so much when she laughs around him. Sometimes, she laughs in spite of him. She can't help but admit that he cracks her up. She secretly loves that. Michael also secretly loves that. Sometimes they'll spend hours laughing until their faces and tummies hurt, and one of them either decides to finally go home, or they both just fall asleep together.
Tori just borrows Michael's sweaters whenever. She gets looks from her mum, Charlie, and the others, and she knows what they think. She knows they think that her and Michael are together. She doesn't bother to correct them because it's too exhausting, and they'll never get it.
Tori is cold - always. No matter what time of year, or how many layers she's wearing, she is always cold and always complains about how cold it is. Michael is the opposite of this, and is always lovely and warm. He doesn't even have to wear loads of layers. He's always pretty warm. Michael teases Tori for the fact that she's always freezing cold.
Michael makes Tori watch films she's never watched, and once she does, she reluctantly admits that they're actually great films.
Once Tori watches a new film that Michael has recommended, she makes a playlist based on the film, or a favourite character of Michael's from that film.
Tori finds people who reject pop music as “too mainstream” insufferable. She can rant about it for so long that the room falls silent.
Michael is never surprised when he sees that Tori is online at like 2 am. He teases her about it, and begs her to try and go to sleep at a respectable hour, but she never gives in.
Tori refuses to speak with anyone at breakfast if she can avoid it. She makes a point of making sure she can eat breakfast alone in the kitchen or eat it in her room. Either way, her headphones are on as she listens to Coldplay or Radio Head. If someone interrupts her, she glares and reluctantly removes her headphones.
Sometimes, Tori dissociates while she's around her friends. She finds herself questioning whether everything going on around her is real. Whether it's actually happening. Her friends don't seem to notice.
Tori's closet is full of hoodies, while Michael has a growing collection of sweaters.
Tori drinks everything with a straw.
Michael likes to give Tori small doodles, drawings, and notes. Tori keeps all of them and looks at them every once in a while when she can't sleep.
Tori absolutely refuses to ever use the overhead light. She will avoid using it at ALL costs.
Tori gets very bad migraines a lot. They even make her lightheaded and on the brink of fainting. She shrugs it off or plays it off that she's fine around others, but Michael can usually tell. Michael brings paracetamol or ibuprofen always, just in case. He also reminds Tori to drink water.
Tori lives off buttered noodles/pasta, mac n' cheese, or nuggets and chips a lot of the time. She can't cook to save her life.
Sometimes Tori finds herself watching game shows like Tipping Point and The Chase. She genuinely enjoys watching them and tries to play along.
Tori refuses to buy a new phone until her current one is on it's last legs. She just can't comprehend why and how people will buy a new phone once a new model is out.
When she was younger, she would get in trouble for cutting her hair on her own with a scissors.
Tori almost always has a blanket with her in her house. She has plenty of blankets in her room. When she's in the living room, you can bet she has a blanket.
In school, Tori was either the one telling everyone to “shut up” or sitting silently by herself. She was never part of the noise.
Michael would feel bad if any of his teddies were left out, so he would sleep with all of them, or have some sort of rota/routine and sleep with a different one each night.

Day 1 - Ice Skating with Vil!
Twisted Wonderland Writings Masterpost

It's been weeks since you spoke with your fellow freshmen about the winter holidays in your world, and the cold has really come rushing in full force at NRC.
Snow blankets the ground, and students wear thick layers to class to keep warm.
You didn't really have any thick layers to bundle up in, but luckily Professor Crewel noticed this when you and Grim came into class a Prefect and Cat-shaped popsicle, ten minutes late. He then personally saw to yell at Crowley in his office for twenty whole minutes about letting you freeze to death.
So now you have a winter coat.
Big enough for Grim to hide in with you when heading to class. Maybe you can wrangle some gloves out of him to if you play your cards right.
But that's none of this is the point. The point is, it's cold enough to go ice skating on the pond outside the Alchemy Workshop.
Which Vil invited you to go do.
Vil.
Vil Schoenheit.
Invited you.
To go... Ice skating.
The famous model and actor, and the Housewarden of Pomefiore (though much less relevant than the FAMOUS MODEL AND ACTOR part) invited YOU... To go ice skating with him.
Okay, look, it's not that you find it hard to believe (you do actually find it very hard to believe), it's just that... Vil is... Vil.
And you're you. In his eyes, a potato. Not that you mind. Most people are potatoes compared to Vil Scheonheit, but also, potatoes aren't that bad of a comparison.
One of the most diverse ingredients and stand-alone foods in this world and yours. Easily able to fit into any dish or meal as a main ingredient or a side.
You'd say since coming to NRC, you fit that description kind of well.
The point is, you and Vil are friends, but like, you've never gone and done something alone with him like this. You'd asked if other Pomefiore students might be there (namely Rook or Epel), but he'd said it'd just be you two.
Alone. Without one of the idiots (read: friends) in your life (take your pick, there are many), contributing to, or leading the conversation.
You're totally not overthinking this or anything.
You try way too hard to wear something nicer than usual- but as mentioned before, you don't have a ton of warm clothes. And they'll be covered by your coat anyway so why the hell does it matter?
Because it's Vil. That's why it matters. You want to look nice.
"You know, I still think the first shirt was the nicest." Grim mutters between bites of tuna.
Which you don't appreciate considering you gave him that can so he'd shut up for a minute.
"It had a hole in it, Grim. Do you really think Vil wouldn't notice that?" You scoff, searching your closet for another nicer button-up.
The only good one you have is for your school uniform, but it needs to be washed, and you don't have time for that- Vil is literally on his way to pick you up.
"No, cuz it'll be hidden under the coat! Now hurry up, he just texted you he's here."
"What!?" You rush to your phone, quickly throwing on the shirt, rushing to button it up as you see the text.
"Okay, okay, okay- Uh, I left another can of tuna on the counter for you if you get hungry while I'm gone, and if anyone swings by needing me for something- I'm dead, got it?" You tell Grim, putting on your coat.
"Sure thing, henchhuman! Stay out as late as you need, the Great Grim has got things handled!" He says with a large smile, way too excited for you to leave.
Normally he complains anytime you go somewhere without him and get's all grumpy or will end up sneaking along after you.
But today, he's been all too happy to help you get ready and push you out the door.
It's suspicious. He's been acting suspiciously for the last two weeks.
So have the others. Avoiding you, getting anxious and awkward when you're around. Lying.
You're not an idiot. They're up to something. You can't quite figure out what exactly but you can reckon it's probably something that you're going to have to fix later.
But right now, you've got more pressing issues.
Like stopping at the hall mirror to make sure your hair isn't messed up, and your skin's not greasy or anything.
When you open the door Vil is, as always, the vision of perfection. Dressed snuggly in a deep blue winter coat, black leather gloves, and a white fur scarf, his hair tied back in a bun, only the front half left loose to frame his face as it usually does.
His violet eyes glimmer when he sees you, swiftly putting his phone back in his pocket.
"There you are, are you ready to go?" He smiles.
"Yep!" You chuckle as you rub your hands together at the cold breeze that comes rushing in from outside.
It snowed particularly hard last night, so classes had been canceled today. But right now, the sky is clear, and the fresh snow sparkles under the late morning light.
The motion, however, catches Vil's eye, whose smile drops as he looks you up and down and raises a brow.
"It's quite cold out, MC, are you sure you don't want to put on gloves? And a scarf you be a good idea too. And maybe a different coat, that one simply is not your color, who did you let pick it out, Crowley? It hardly looks warm enough for the weather." He asks, poking at the sleeve of the item.
Actually, yes, he did pick it out. The cheapest one he could find.
"It's the only coat I have, and I don't have any gloves or anything. It's fine though, I've gotten pretty used to the cold by now." You laugh it off, and Vil's eyes narrow.
"Hm. Very well, let's just get going, I'm sure we can swing by Sam's shop and pick you up something." He nods, resolute.
"Oh, I don't really have any money for it. Not if I want to eat something other than the cheap microwave meals Crowley leaves for me over break." You wave your hands, stepping outside and closing the door before you let any more heat out.
It was hard enough getting the furnace working, you're not wasting a single second of the warmth it provides before it breaks again.
"Microwave meals!? Is that birdbrained idiot trying to kill you!? Do you know how many preservatives and chemicals are in those!?" Vil looks horrified and you can't help but chuckle, scratching at the back of your head nervously.
"Well, food is food, as Ruggie would say. We can worry more about it later if you'd like, but I'd really like to have some sort of fun on my snow day, don't you?" You ask, trying to change the subject.
The housewarden cringes at the idea of dropping the subject, but lets out a defeated sigh.
"Fine. We will be talking about this later though. Or at least I'll be talking with Crowley next housewarden's meeting." He mumbles the last bit as he grabs your arm, looping it through his.
Oh. Oh.
He leads the way down Ramshackle steps towards the gate. And you try not to think about you two looking awfully a lot like a couple.
Ice skating is a common winter date where you're from... And then you have a thought.
A stomach-dropping thought.
Is this a date?
You nearly stumble to a stop at the thought.
You didn't think to ask. Why would you!? It was such a random out-of-the-blue offer! You didn't think 'Would you like to go ice skating with me today?' translated to anything nonplatonic!
It's probably not a date. Probably.
So you quickly decide to distract yourself from the warmth radiating from where your and Vil's arms are locked.
"So, you wouldn't happen to know what's up with Epel lately? He and the others have been avoiding me. I think they're planning something, but I don't know what." You mention, and Vil glances at you with a small smirk.
"It just so happens I do. And trust me, it's nothing to worry about. Let's just focus on us today, yes?"
Oh, this might be a fucking date.
Fuuuuuuuck.
You would have tried so much harder to look nicer if you'd realized this sooner!
"O-okay. Well, how have you been with all the cold weather? Are you excited for the break?" You ask, suddenly feeling very nervous.
"I don't mind the cold, it dries out the skin, but simply adding an extra hydration step to my skincare routine in the morning and night is a simple fix for it." He informs and you smile.
"I've tried that face scrub stuff you got for me, and it works really well. Smells nice too. I'm almost out of it, so I'll have to save up for some more." You mention, the gift- or well, 'charity' as he called it at the time a few months ago, of skincare products.
It was nice of him, and you're pretty sure it was a 'thank you' for helping him during his overblot. Which is more than you got from Leona.
You've been able to set up a routine for yourself with it, probably nothing as complicated as his routine, but you're proud to say you have seen some improvements.
"Oh? I'm glad, I wasn't sure you'd use any of them, Epel certainly doesn't." He scoffs, and you chuckle.
"Yet somehow has incredible skin." You remark as you walk out the gate and towards the Alchemy Workshop
"I know, as to how he got so lucky when all he does is wash it with water and a cloth in the morning- sometimes- I will never understand." Vil sighs, bringing a hand to his head in disappointment.
"Well, at least he's got you to look out for him. Wish I were so lucky to have gotten the fair Vil Schoenheit as a guide throughout my time here at NRC. All I got was Crowley." You sigh, unintentionally leaning into him as a cold breeze passes through.
"Hm, well, if you'd like I can certainly dedicate some of my time to help you with self-care and style? And trust me, it's no burden on me. After all, if we're going to be seen together more, it ought to be my job to make sure you look good enough to impress. I want the world to see you as beautiful on the outside as I know you are on the inside." He meets your wide-eyed gaze with a soft smile.
There's a fondness in his eyes that you don't think you've ever seen before.
A fondness meant just for you.
"Oh my, are you sure you're not cold? Your face is all red." He asks, though there's a knowing look in his eyes and a smirk on his lips.
Oh, he's teasing you.
"I'm fine! I just didn't expect that! I don't get compliments often, you know?" You turn away, focusing on the path ahead of you.
"Oh, I doubt that sweet potato, with how selfless and determined you are? There are a lot of people here at NRC who should be singing your praises for everything you do for them." He brings his other free hand to rest on top of your arm, still locked with his.
"Well, all I really hear is people telling me that I shouldn't be so kind, or that I'm naive, too trusting, too generous, and foolish for never requesting anything in return... Sometimes it's like none of the students here even know what kindness is, the way they react to it." You can see the Alchemy Workshop ahead of you.
"Hm, I see. Well, I might agree in some aspects that you're too trusting and generous at times, but for the most part, it's... Not a bad thing. You've helped people, MC, even at your own detriment, and though the idea of you continuing to do so worries me, I know you will. Because you have a good heart. You care about people, even when they don't deserve your care. It's admirable." He sighs wistfully, staring off ahead, the condensation of his breath floating in the icy air around his face.
You pause when you reach the Alchemy Workshop, looking at him as he turns to you questioningly.
"... Thanks, Vil. You have a good heart too. Even if you don't show it very often. You look after your dormmates and underclassmen, you make sure they're taking care of themselves, eating healthy, and doing well in school. You encourage their passions a lot, even Epel's love for Spelldrive, despite not liking the sport yourself. You have your own way of caring about people, it's a more 'tough love' style than mine, but it's still just as admirable." You know he's thinking back to his own overblot and behavior leading up to it.
To be honest, it was bad, but people are more than just their worst moments.
And perhaps that is you being too forgiving, but empathy is something that NRC has been lacking for a long time. So perhaps it's just your cross to bear.
Vil meets your eyes for a long moment, thoughts swirling around those long lashes and pretty lavender irises.
"The way you're able to see people, sweet potato... It's a remarkable ability, you know that right?" He finally smiles, and it remains the most beautiful sight you've ever known.
"A blessing and a curse at times. Now come on, I wanna ice skate!" You laugh and pull at the connection of your arms to usher him forward.
"So you do know how? I never thought to ask, but I figured if you didn't I could teach you." Vil inquires as you walk around the building to see the frozen pond.
It looks beautiful, sparkling in the daylight. There are a few students on the other side skating, but they're far enough that you and Vil can still skate with plenty of room. It's a big pond after all.
"Kind of, I haven't in a while, so I might be a bit rusty- and certainly not as elegant as I'm sure you are." Of all the talents for Vil Schoenheit to have, ice skating may be the least surprising.
It's a beautiful hobby. Elegant, graceful, refined, and mature. All words that can describe ice skating and Vil.
"I only started learning a few years ago, and only really in the wintertime when I'm home alone on break. I picked it up to pass the time." He explains, walking you over to the pond edge where two bags sit- a note attached.
"You're alone during winter break?" You ask, slightly hesitant, not wanting it to be a sensitive topic, but he probably wouldn't have mentioned it if it was, right?
"Yes, my father's work schedule is usually packed, so he's not home often. I have the house to myself for the most part, save for the housekeepers." He picks up the note (you see that it's signed 'from Rook') and opens the bag nearest so you both can see the white ice skates inside.
"Oh, well, you can always call or text me during break if you get bored. I'd enjoy hearing from you." You grab the other bag as he hands it to you (ignoring how your hands brush), and he chuckles.
"I just might, sweet potato. Here, I sent Rook to buy these for you, so don't worry about returning them to me." He tells you.
You brush snow off a nearby tree stump and sit down to put them on. They fit perfectly, and you don't even want to begin to guess how Rook got your shoe size.
"You sure? I can pay you back-"
"Don't worry about it. Consider them one of your gifts. Now, let's go, we don't have all day."
Wait, one of your what-
You stumble a bit and Vil's arm darts out to steady you.
"Are you alright?"
"Yeah, fine, just haven't worn a pair of these in a while!" You laugh it off, and you both make your way to the ice.
Vil is as elegant as you thought he'd be, gliding across the ice smoothly. You have a rocky start, nearly slipping straight onto your butt the moment you touch the ice, but you find your balance quickly.
The memories of your last time skating flow back to the forefront of your mind, and you manage to not look like a complete fool gliding across the ice with Vil.
"Gosh, it feels like so long ago since I last did this!" You laugh, doing slow wide circles around the ice with Vil.
"Hm, it is a rather elegant winter activity, we could make it a tradition if you'd like? Coming to ice skate before winter break. It would keep either of us from getting too rusty and I can give you some of the hydrating face masks I use in the morning and night to keep your face from getting dry- and lip balm, chapped lips will not be accepted while we're together." He asks you, and you turn to him, skating in front of him backward.
It's a bold offer. Everything about Vil had been bold today. Does he truly like you? Like, like-like you?
You certainly like-like him.
By the seven you sound like a middle schooler with their first ever crush. Hell, you've certainly felt like one for... Awhile now.
Every time you're near him, acting like a blushing idiot, twirling your hair and giggling. You're not actually doing either of those things, but you sure feel like it!
Ever since his overblot, he's been a consistent voice of reason in your life, helping you curb the chaotic tendencies of those around you every time he's around.
And somewhere along the line, you've developed that terrible fluttering in your stomach that people call a crush every time he speaks to you. Or offers to help with something. Or looks at you. Or calls you 'sweet potato' which really only started just before Halloween.
God, he really has been dropping big hints, huh? So you should make a bold move too, right?
By the seven, please don't let this backfire.
"I'd love to, but only if you let me take you out to dinner afterward." You smile, the slightest of nervous flushes on your face, and his eyes widen, startled, but so does his smirk.
"How bold. And here I was worried that even after today you wouldn't get the hint. It's a date, sweet potato." He skates closer to you.
"I'm not that dense you know, just... In a state of shock that you'd want to go out with me. You do know you could have anyone right? You're a famous model, actor, and the housewarden of Pomefiore. From what I've seen so far, there isn't a girl or guy alive that wouldn't throw themselves at your feet." You acknowledge and he just laughs.
"Ah, yes, all the guys and girls that would love to be with me just for my looks, fame, and money. No, thank you. I'll stick with one of the only people in the world who sees me. Who appreciates my help, even when others think I'm being a bitch. Who values my advice, and actually listens to it. Who makes me feel like I... for a single second... Don't need to try so hard to be perfect." You stop skating at his words.
So does he.
"Vil... You never have to be perfect with me. I'm not perfect. Neither is anyone I know- I mean, look at my best friends! They're morons! But I still love them! Because they make me laugh. They care about my wellbeing- in their own ways, and they're there for me when I really need them." You list fondly, skating just a bit closer to grab Vil's gloved hand.
"That's all I really need from anyone, and maybe to some people, that's a low bar, but hey, I'm happy. So it must not be that bad of a thing, you know? So if you're up to doing just those three things, then I'll gladly date you, and do the same in return." When you look up at him, he's watching you closely.
Or well, maybe not you.
Your lips.
"I think I'm quite capable of doing all of that. And more, if you'd allow me?" He glances to meet your gaze his hand coming up to cradle your cheek.
You smile and nod.
And he kisses you. Slow, soft, and gentle. Warmth fills you, making the cold that your cheap coat couldn't keep out, melt away.
You lean into the kiss, and you have to stop yourself from chasing after it when he pulls away.
"Lots of those. That's also part of the deal- I require lots of those." You sigh wistfully and he laughs.
Bright, and melodic, and real.
You move to skate an inch back just to see it better and-
"Ack-!"
Your skate catches on something, stalling and sending you falling back.
Your arms frantically reach to grab something and stabilize yourself. At the same time, Vil quickly reaches forward to grab you, which he does, but then his skate trips over the same thing that must have tripped you.
You land in snow.
Ah. You two were at the edge of the pond.
You tripped on solid ground.
And dragged Vil down with you.
Not a great start to the relationship.
It takes a moment of blinking to fully process what just happened but when you do, you find Vil on top of you, a single hair fallen out of his bun.
Without thinking you reach out and tuck it behind his ear so it's less noticeable to someone who isn't this close to him.
His eyes meet yours and you flush, suddenly bashful and worried all at once.
"I'm so sorry! Are you okay!?" You ask, feeling the snow below you, freezing cold seeping through your coat and clothes.
You use your hands to prop yourself up, ignoring the cold and how it starts to sting.
"I'm alright, are you?" He asks and you nod, looking around, your happy you two are now the only ones at the pond.
Vil may have agreed to date you, but he might quickly retract it if anyone saw that.
You sigh in relief, and then... You can't stop yourself from laughing.
"Care to enlighten me on what's so funny about this? Ugh, I've probably messed up my hair- and my clothes-" He pushes himself up, standing swiftly, brushing the snow off of his coat.
"Because we weren't paying attention at all!" You snort out, still laughing at the whole clumsy situation.
"Exactly! You could have gotten hurt, you are aware of that, correct?" He scolds, leaning down to offer you a hand up, which you gladly take while still giggling.
"Yeah, but we didn't, and this will be a hilarious first date story someday." You struggle to balance only for a second when he pulls you to your feet (he's stronger than you thought, duly noted) but he holds your arms to keep you steady.
"We are not telling anyone that I fell." He says firmly, but you smile up at him and can immediately see that fondness softening his sharp glare.
"Of course not. The beautiful and fair, Vil Schoenheit was my hero, helping me up, checking for injuries, kissing them better-" He scoffs as you giggle out the lie.
"We're not telling anyone that either, sweet potato. Let's just stick with you fell, and I helped you up, yes?" He smirks, and you sigh with a smile still glued to your face.
"As you wish, my fairest." You loop your arms and begin skating out towards the middle of the ice once more.
"How about you show me some of those fancier moves you were doing earlier? The figure skating stuff. I'm no master like you, but I think I can learn a few things." You suggest.
"I wouldn't call myself a master, but I can show you a few things I've learned, so watch closely, sweet potato."
"Oh, trust me, I will."
You two spend the next hour skating, Vil teaching you some more advanced moves, which leads to you falling once or twice more, but you get a few down before evening rolls around with no serious injury.
"I think we should probably head back now, my hands are going to go numb." You sigh, a little disappointed to call it quits, but your hands hurt from how cold they are, and you legs are getting tired too.
"That's probably for the best, to much time out in the cold is terrible for the skin." He sighs, already skating towards you.
"I though you had hydrating face masks for that?" You joke and he rolls his eyes.
"There's only so much a face mask can protect you from and prevent. Are you hungry? We can grab something to eat before we go back, my treat this time, since I was the one who invited you out after all." He suggests and you would like to protest that you should at least pay for your share but- you really don't have the money.
And you're actually starving. You both kind of skipped any kind of lunch, being too distracted with skating and confessions and all that.
Note to self, pack lunches next year.
"Sure, Mostro Lounge would be the best option-" You go to recommend, but Vil quickly interrupts.
"I was thinking of somewhere else. You've been to Mostro Lounge dozens of times, but I'd love to bring you to a restaurant in town that I think you'd like." He asks pulling out his phone and typing something very quickly.
"Oh? Okay. So long as Azul doesn't find out I'm cheating on him with another restaurant, we should be fine." You chuckle and your words draw one from Vil to.
"It's a small place, quaint, quiet, and... Homey. I think you'll enjoy it." Good, so nothing that's 5-star fine dining.
You're really not dressed for that kind of restaurant.
"Alright, but I should stop by and tell Grim I'll be out a little longer, or he might get worried."
"Oh, I think he'll be fine. You can text someone else to check on him if you're really worried, or I can have Rook do it?" He pulls you a bit closer to him as you shiver a bit from a cold wind.
Oh, yeah, Grim will definitely be fine.
"Alright. Lead the way, my fairest." You sigh with a dopey smile, and he glances down at you with a smirk.
"Is that your pet name for me now?" He asks with a raised brow and you nudge him.
"Like you can judge, you literally call me a potato!" You laugh.
"A sweet potato." He correct.
"Still a potato. But it's fine. I quite like it. Would you like me to call you something else?" You ask, tilting your head in his direction and he hums in thought.
"No, I think that will work. As well as darling, love, sweetheart, beauty, my queen- those all work too." He smiles proudly, and you giggle.
"Of course, my queen." You give a small, mock bow, and it's his turn to nudge you.
Today has been... Wonderful.
And even if you're alone during winter break, at least you know Vil is only a text or phone call away.
It'll be a good Christmas this year. You just know it.

jaytim thoughts:
Tim to Jason: you know if things ever go to complete shit I have a whole exist strategy for us.
Jason confused: what your saying you'd run away with me?
Tim: Yes.
Jason: You'd actually do that, start over with me?
Tim: I have full proof plan for us running away together and starting over where Bruce can't find us. If you ever need to burn everything to the ground I'm prepared to follow you.
Jason: That sounds really nice honestly.
Tim smiles: It does doesn't it.
Ngl I have a whole ass thing about Tim being able to completely dismantle the entire justice league. Like the only reason he doesn't is because there's not a point. Until they get in his or someone he loves way.
So the thought of one of the heroes getting it in their head that Bruce needs 'help' and starts going after Jason. All I can ever picture is Tim uploading a video to be played at the next meeting saying the following.
"Hello Justice League. Some of you might know who I am but most of you don't but soon you will, I know B goes on about how Gotham is his city, and it is to a degree, but I'm the one running it, don't make that face B it's true. Now I'm going to say this plainly. You stay out of my city and out of my boyfriends business. If you don't not even Bruce will be able to save your asses from what I'm able to rain down and will if you don't get your noses out of my fucking city. Anyone touches Red Hood or Red Robin or any of my family but B again, well, we'll see how loyal some of your family is to you guys."
Because Tim is better than Bruce at making and KEEPING allies. Like sure Tim isn't above manipulating them a bit, but most of his friends? They'll follow him to the ends of the universe, regardless of what Tim chooses. But afterwards B shows up at WE and gives him a handwritten apology from whoever was poking their noses in his business. Jason has it framed.

Hmm.!
So... I'm just gonna address these all in one go. cracks all my fingers.
First of all, ascended!Chirin is technically one of like... four solid different endings I've thought of for them in their AU. i think they're all fun to play with, but the first three I've thought of are definitely not so great in regards to them ever getting better or gaining back their full autonomy, or even a semblance of normalcy.
Tumblr media
I'll try and answer the questions real quick before I mention the fourth and most recent ending my brain came up with.
"Does Chirin ever regain their mind?"
"Ascended"? No. in "Bliss"? Not really either. in "HttC" they do after their son usurps them but it's a really rough process that leaves them resentful and full of anger for a long time.
"What happens to their relationship with Narinder? How is he throughout this?"
In the endings where Chirin ascends and leaves the cult it obviously puts a somewhat loose split to their relationship. It doesn't formally end, but obviously their relationship can't continue with one of them being GONE lmao also the fact that as Chirin lost their mind they lost connection to their emotions as a mortal and their feelings withered regardless. Narinder doesn't fare too well through out this but in the endings where Chirin leaves they have a child that he's taking care of and his priorities are there. To me he doesn't have the spoons or skills to help Chirin and doesn't know what they need, but who would.
In "Bliss" their mind degrades a bit but only so much so they're able to live relatively "happy" as a family and with Chirin still around and leading, but it's iffy because it doesn't leave Chirin whole and there's progress and growth they'll never have because they more or less stagnate as a person. It's not the best ending to me because someone who can't move forward or move on in general doesn't really get the best ending. Life involves progress and there's none in this ending.
"What does Narinder think of the changes? Does he try to stop it?"
In "Ascended" and "HttC" it's one of those gradual changes that shows slight differences here and there over centuries and by the time he notices how far it's gone it's too late. It's also hard because Chirin has a savior complex and they do and say odd things that seem to come out of nowhere all the time. The little changes over time concern him and he takes note of them but the sudden changes happen so few and far between that they seem like isolated incidents until their overall altered personality is more than noticeable and by then there's not much that can be done, and what could be done, he isn't sure he wants to try and risk the consequences doing something that might backfire on Chirin and their psyche.
When he realizes Chirin is becoming a person he no longer recognizes it's gutting, but what can you do. How do you reverse such a thing?
"Would the bishops be alive during this period?"
Yes, they are alive through this in "Ascended" and "HttC" they decide to keep their golden skull necklaces to be with Narinder and Azriel after Chirin leaves. In "Bliss" they live a normal lifespan.
"Has his positions/duties changed over the years? How has his relationship with Chirin evolved?"
THIS question I won't answer right now, because I can actually answer this eventually with something I'm working on that I've started this week.
So... rubs my little hands together. The fourth and most recent ending I've come up with is actually what I would consider a good ending for them and everyone involved. I honestly didn't see a way out for Chirin for a while given the circumstances I gave them but, ykno... Rambling and talking headcanons with friends always gets the gears turning (:
So the good ending is what I'm working with on this new project that I'm actually having a lot of fun with already and am very excited to continue with for as long as I can. I genuinely want to see it through to the end, fingers crossed for hyperfixation brain.
With that in mind, keep an eye out!! Should have the first part up soon!! Maybe within the next week, or even this weekend!

Hi so I have another yandere platonic class 1-a request again if that’s okay
So if Izuku has a cousin(female reader) who has pica (it’s a eating disorder which a person eats things not usually considered food) and she would eat easer shavings because her mother would just ignored her when she was a child and when she was in middle school she ran away to Izuku’s house but never really told anyone about what was happening. So here’s a scenario of Izuku and some of class 1-a walks into a her room and sees her eating some eraser shavings
How would they react? ((I hope this is okay)
(THE FACT THAT I HAVE PICA AS WELL AHHHHH THIS IS GONNA BE SO GOOD )
Tumblr media
• You had this habit for as long as you remember, you always ate things that weren't food or even edible, the main reason is that your mother was always neglectful to bringing in men and just told you to go in your room and play with your toys without any food, at times you even had to sneak out the house and go to your aunty Inko house with your cousin izuku, Inko knew about your situation and took care of you like you were her child
• "Izuku dear your cousin is here!" Inko's mom called not even 3 seconds you heard little footsteps stomping and excited giggling getting louder "Y/N Y/N! YOU'RE HERE" Izuku ran up and tackled you with a hug, 2 of you were on the ground and started giggling "I bought my super cool Remote control robot with me we can pretend this is the villain and we're the heroes!" The green boy was amazed at the idea and the two of you ran off while Inko giggled to herself
•The 1st person to notice that you had pica was your auntie Inko she noticed how you were always chewing on things like scissors, dirt, or even paper at 1st she thought it was because you were just a child with a big appetite but even when you were full you still went back to this behavior so when she took you to the quirk doctor about this behavior after a few test you were diagnosed with pica so then on after your mother abandoned you with one of the playboys she started taking care of you and izuku
• one-day Bakugo was picking on you for this calling you a dirt eater and picking up worms "Come on Sissy eat it you like eating dirt so much eat it" mocking you to eat them but you used his quirk to make him fly back and the two of you gone at it punching, pulling, biting while the other kids were cheering on but izuku was worried so he tried to run over but was too scared to get hurt as well so he got into and Mitsuki, Both women ran over and broke you two apart while into was checking on ur bruises and scratches mitsuki grabbed katsuki and put him on his him while he struggled and kicked and yelled insults "Inko I am so so so sorry for my son's horrible behavior ill make sure he learns a lesson" Mitsuki bowed her head in front of inko "I'm sorry too ill make sure ill talk with this young lady here the 2 of you had a stern talk about it but you got some ice cream and izuku kiss your boo-boos and helped with putting on all might banaids
Years passed and now you were in Ua your cousin was more protective than you ever, since that incident he swore to always protect you and never leave you behind he worked extra hard when all might training him not only to become a number one hero but to protect you and to be heroes together! Whenever someone looked at you funny he gives them a deadly glare and they'll back off immediately you were there when he was down and he was gonna repay you back he always made you hold hands or be by you to remind you that he should be your only friend
While you were talking to your cousin while chewing on an eraser and your cousin ranting about all might and his notebook going to your next period. A short punk -haired girl stopped in front of the two of you she smiled at you while the both of you looked confused and Izuku looked tab annoyed "Uhh who are you-" "Hello! I'm Mina! Mina Ashido Are you two twins!?" She said observing you two looking at each other "Actually we're cousins!"
"Oh, I'm sorry! Mina sheepishly said while rubbing the back of her head "It's fine we get that a lot! It's normal for us plus we act like brother and sister!" You playfully hit Izuku in the shoulders while he playfully glared at you "Anyways! Me and my friends were talking alot about you and we wanted to invite you to hang out with us!" You were flattered and blushed at her comment "uh yeah I can join! Is that's ok izuku" Izuku wanted to protest but with the look of excitement on your face he didn't want you to hate him and see him as a bad brother cousin so he mentally rolled his eyes and said "yea plus it can be like a girls day for you!"
Time skip to lunch
• the two of you were walking into class when a short brown head girl waved her hand signaling you both to join her you both walked over and sat down "Hey izuku and you must be?" "Y/n, y/n Midoriya!" You introduce yourself making the girl brighten up "Ah how nice! You look so adorable!" You blushed embarrassingly at that comment "Ah stop it you're making me blush! You were soon introduced to iida and Tsuyu then Todoroki and all started chatting happily
•you were soon Introduce with kirishima, tokoyami, a silly goofball denki, Sero, hakagure, Aoyama and more and started to make a bond with them even amends with bakugo (kinda)
•you mostly hang out with the dekusquad but the bakusquad would always try to invite you in any way they can which starts a war
•the girls would always have slumber parties or tea parties and if you weren't interested in those chaotic board games where you mostly won
•the boys would try and team up with each other like Bakugo and Kirishima Denki and Sero would invite you to laser tag fighting over who would win the most points for you to get a prize or Izuku, shoto and iida would take you out on to the mall and spoil you
• one-day Tokoyami was looking for you because you promised you would read his poems so when he went into your room he saw you chewing on some paper you explained why you have this habit and you had it when you were 4 which he completely understood heck dark shadow started to eat paper (like cookie monster eating s cookie) you couldn't stop laughing when tokoyami tried to take the paper out his mouth
•Koda would watch you making sure you won't try to eat the grass and try to make you eat delicious berries and edible plants
•Sato pack some pastries for you whenever you felt like wanting to chew on something not edible
•bakugo would just smack whenever your chewing on telling you that's disgusting while giving you your favorite snackyou liked as kids saying "chew this shit instead of erasers dumbass!"
•Izuku would pack gum for you in case you fly in the urge to want to chew on your eraser if he runs out he lets you chew on his pencils or ask Aoyama to give you some cheese
•you and kiri literally are twins chewing your erasers is your favorite habit
•Momo would gently let you know how ite unhealthy to chew on thing and blah blah blah while your just over here chewing off your finger nail which she also has to stop you
• Ochaco will let you try and stop yourself from chewing on your hair desperately giving you one-dollar snacks to eat
It didn't matter how werid you thought you were since you will always be their "werid" little sis and if any judge you otherwise they'll be meeting with 18 angry siblings and one cousin ready to break some bones instead of his

I'm always thinking about Jason because fixation so my judgement is biaised because every song I listen to makes me think about at least one of my Jasons, but here are some songs though were definitely written for and about canon Jason Todd, and I will take no criticism (but you are definitely welcome to add your own songs):
-Take me To War, by The Crane Wives
>"But I keep snapping at Goliath hands with all of my tiny might"/ "All of the fire I swallowed, all of the sparks that went down in my guts, I am always burning out"/ "I'll be the sweetest thing to ever scare you"
The Robin -> Red Hood transition is so seamless
-Little Soldiers by the Crane Wives
> "On the broken back of all the words we spared, Like little soldiers in the trenches; It was a march we made towards ruin and despair, But we held hands all the while"
I always rant about how how Jason's character and story is centered around love, this is the song that plays in my head while I'm yapping
-Blue Lips by Regina Spektor
> "He took a step but then felt tired, He said I'll rest a little while; but when he tried to walk again, he wasn't a child"
If you ever wanna be sad about Jason's resurrection, catatonia and stolen childhood, this is the song to listen to
-The Horrors and The Wild by The Amazing Devil
"Think of all the horrors that I promised I'd bring, I promise they'll sing of every Time you passed your fingers through my hair and called me child, Witness me old man I am the Wild"
> If Under The Red Hood has one song it's this one
-The Old Witch Sleep and The Good Man Grace by The Amazing Devil
"There's a fire burning/And I'm learning to be/So much more than my tiredness/ So much more than that old witch sleep wishes/ She kisses my eyelids, and I/Breathe"
> If Red Hood: Lost Days (minus the gross bits) has one song it's this one
-Elsa's song by The Amazing Devil
>"And you'll throw some sage and lillies/ And roses where I'll rot/ Of all the flowers you picked/I knew you would forget/ Forget-me-nots"
idk who Elsa is this is about how Jason was grieved but he wasn't remembered
(Yeah I'm pretty convinced that at least either Madeline Hyland or Joey Batey read Under the Red Hood so many of their songs fit so well I restrained myself to three but there are so many)
-A Burning Hill by Mitski
>"I'm tired of wanting more, I think I'm finally worn/ For you have a way of promising things/ And I've been a forest fire"
Jason admitting loss and giving up on begging Bruce is something that can be so personal actually
-Heaven Knows by The Pretty Reckless
>"Now you're on your knees with your head hung low/ Big Man tell you where to go/ Tell them it's good, tell them okay/Don't do a goddamn thing they say"
Crime Alley united!!! Also, "tell the big guy I said hello" :))) (the God/Batman amalgam in Death in the Family is such an incredible one-liner and works so well for Jason omg)
-For the Departed by Shayfer James
>"Now I must finished what I started/I'll write a symphony for the departed/And I have no time for second chances/ So I survive on bourbon blood and backward glances"
The amount of angst, dramatics and intense devotion to his cause at the cost of his life, the literature references, everything about this song? Jason at his angstiest for sure
-Goodbye by Bo Burnham
> "If I wake up in a house that's full of smoke I'll panic/So call me up and tell me a joke/ When I'm fully irrelevant and totally broken dammit/ Call me up and tell me a joke /Oh shit/ You're really joking at a time like this"
exploded warehouse parallel aside, this song feels like not being able to heal because you're not capable of asking for what you really need, wanting to come back but feeling like you aren't allowed to because it would ruin you or the you that was shaped by other's perception of you and most importantly, begging to matter and to have mattered. So. Jason.

What We Do in the Shadows: Come Out and Play (6x09)
I liked this one!
Cons:
So, back to the Guide/Nandor thing - I think I realized my core issue here. It feels like a potentially funny subplot that would happen in a single episode, but stretched out over the full season until it feels threadbare and irritating. Like, the bit where Nandor dramatically offers to die for the Guide, or the Guide letting him down easy and Nandor spacing out staring at her eyes, those were perfectly funny bits. But they come after multiple false starts that suggest a story and then never capitalize on it. The Guide has said her piece now, but it seems like Nandor hasn't gotten the memo, so are we just going to keep limping through jokes about them for the last few episodes of the show? It feels like they don't actually have good funny ideas with this plot thread and I am increasingly sure that the payoff won't be worth the setup, whatever it is. I wish "Nandor has a crush on the Guide" had been the plot of a single episode, basically. That could have worked.
Pros:
This was such a fun episode! It's got so many classic elements that this show does really well, gives our gang a chance to be involved in all sorts of shenanigans, and has a... groundedness to it? That I can't quite explain - I think it's the fact that a bunch of vampires die in this episode, and a few of them are killed gruesomely by Cravensworth's Monster squishing their heads in, and these deaths have narrative consequences and it feels like our core cast of vamps are in some real mortal peril! It's fun to see Guillermo kick ass as a vampire hunter, it's been a long time since that's happened.
The Baron co-parenting and dealing with babysitters is so funny, as is the fact that Jerry, a character so underutilized this season I almost didn't recognize him when he appeared, suddenly gets killed off at the top of the episode. After Jerry's death it's a mad dash through Staten Island as various different themed gangs of vampires chase down the gang, and they wait for Guillermo to come rescue them.
Guillermo's displacement from his found family is an interesting theme this season, because there's this interesting push-pull from him trying to maintain his independence and make his own choices, but still wanting to be valued by his friends. He's rejected at the start of the episode when he's not invited to the party to honor the Baron, but then validated in the end by Nandor telling Guillermo's cousin that if he's family to Guillermo, he's family to the rest of them too. You get this sense that Guillermo and all the vampires know they'll always be in each other's lives, even if the form of that relationship has shifted. It's sweet!
And seeing Guillermo failing to connect with his family in basic ways is sad, but then the mood turns around when you have Guillermo's cousin go all ride-or-die and call in his buddies to go with Guillermo to save the vampires from potential death. He doesn't ask any questions: if Guillermo's going into danger, he's coming too. And of course he's got the Van Helsing blood in him and his able to be an inexplicable bad-ass when facing down the barista vampires. Or, sorry, the artist and writer vampires who just happen to be working as baristas right now. Lol.
Nadja and Laszlo have a continuation of a plot thread that's been happening a lot this season, where Nadja is irritated with Laszlo for trying to take care of her so much when in fact she's perfectly capable of taking care of herself. Seeing Nadja single-handedly take on the graveyard vampires was very fun, especially the bit where she just continually slams the one guy's head over and over again. Laszlo is very into it. He reveals that his protectiveness is more about the fact that he cannot live without her, rather than any belief that she needs help. I love that, it's very sweet! And Nadja has a great response, which is to say that she doesn't need Laszlo's protection, but she can't live without him either - it's not his protection that she'd miss if he were gone, it's everything else about them - their relationship and the awesome sex they have and all that stuff.
This was a fun one - I hope we're done with the Guide/Nandor stuff, or at least I hope we can do something bigger and sillier with it. I hope we get lots of good quality time with these characters in the last few episodes. I'm feeling really sad about saying goodbye!

Hange Zoë and the Vets Headcanons: University/Modern AU
Though many are unaware, Hange is an artist. They like to go out and find interesting buildings, sit down for a good view and sketch it into their sketchpad. They do this for other things as well; a nicely shaped leaf, a lost shoe, an interesting rock.
Sometimes, they collect cool stones or sticks off the paths on the way to class and then gives them to Mike for a sniff test.
Walking to and from classes, Hange plays podcasts or listens to the audios of various educational videos.
They have a very cool room/dormitory. Yes, it is messy almost all of the time, but it is an organized mess. Hange has plant shaped pillows, terrariums, a touch-activated moon lamp that they use for late nights, walls of shelves filled with the textbooks and novels collected over the years, pinned up sketches of the things they see, plants hanging from their ceiling, a soft carpet because they love working on the floor, a corner desk... just a lot of stuff.
I imagine Hange is actually quite fond of stuffed animals as well. They find them useless, yes, but they make nice friends and study buddies. (I think Erwin would have gifted them a stuffed lizard). They line them up on the bed so that they can watch them study, and sometimes they practice their speeches, verbalize their essay outlines, or simply present their discoveries and ideas to the pretend audience.
On Friday nights, Hange is dragged away from their work by Nanaba and Mike to then go drag Erwin and Levi to go drinking.
Levi hauls Hange back to their dorm room every Friday night, where they pass out on the stuffed animals. Levi tries to sleep there, too, sometimes, if it is too late to get back to his place. Unfortunately, the stuffed animals' eyes disturb him. He may make a late night call to Petra for company, since they're usually the only ones at least a little bit sober. Petra complains to him about Gelgar vomiting on her shoes.
Hange takes a lot of pride in keeping their lab coat in good condition. The more surprising fact is that it is in good condition, and affectionately adorned with colorful pins and brooches.
While prodding from Levi to tidy up their room usually results in fondly irritated sighs and grumbling, Mike's invitation-like demands for them to tag along with him to the gym are met with much more positivity.
Every now and then, a full group hangout is called and they — Hange, Erwin, Levi, Nanaba, Mike, Petra, Oluo, Gelgar, Nifa, Moblit, who am I missing? — pick somewhere to go for the day. Usually it's the park or the beach, because few public places can handle their level of chaos and volume, so they kick a ball around, race one other, arm wrestle one other on park tables, and just enjoy the sun.
Hange's shoes always wear out quickly from all the walking around that they do. Their clothes always end up being torn or stained by the things they pick up, and they spend an unnecessary amount of time trying to clean them. They've taken to wearing Erwin's shoes when they're waiting for theirs to be delivered (much to his distaste).
Speaking of clothing, the heavy duty of being Fashion Police falls upon the capable shoulders of Mike, Levi, and Nanaba. Levi likes to check the material of the fabric for quality, Mike likes to make sure the outfit is coordinated by style and in style, and Nanaba likes to coordinate the colors, finding the things that compliment eyes and complexion. They are scrupulous with this, they'll take Hange and Erwin around the stores, have them fitted into clothing, turn them around and around in circles to scrutinize. Hange appreciates the help, and probably just reads while they make comments to one another. Erwin does not need the help, but finds it amusing and indulges them.
While Hange draws still life, Moblit loves drawing people. He follows his friends around and sketches them from life— the motion of muscle beneath Erwin's skin on a run or during a workout, the subtlety of the shifts in Levi's expressions during classes from confusion to intrigue to awe, the swift movements of Hange's body when they're excited about something. He also likes to sit at cafes and sketch strangers.
Levi has a part time job at a cafe. Hange often stops by with Erwin and Mike, and the three of them tease him at the counter before buying their morning drinks and breakfast. I feel like Hange and Erwin would like blueberry muffins.
Nanaba does not indulge their teasing for oddly private reasons, and goes to say hello to Levi on her own. They chat at the counter for long enough to make Levi's coworkers curious about the nature of their relationship, and then Nanaba buys herself a coffee and Levi a cup of tea and a pastry. He likes to slip her a free cookie or pastry puff every now and then, too, and if a bit of his money ends up in the cash box, well, it's no one else's business.
Hange is overwhelmed a lot, and easily. They are a free spirit, not to be held down by the demands of school life, but alas, society calls for discipline in order to obtain survival. Therefore, Grandmother Levi made them a quilt to use as a picnic blanket/meditation mat on the grass to protect their pants from grass stains. Hange uses it every day, between lectures to eat their lunch, to watch the sunset, to stargaze, to just feel the earth beneath their back and watch the clouds float by.
When all the other veterans, ahem, graduate from the school, Hange lies beside Levi on the quilt and, to cure their sudden, mutual dislike for the new quiet of their days, invites him to share an apartment with them.
Hange is terrible at checking messages. They are the most inactive member in every group chat and they respond maybe once every couple of days. Not only because they're busy often, but because of the overwhelming factor as well.
Erwin likes to ruin his outfits by wearing crazy socks. He may have on the most elegant, dapped outfit ever known to mankind, but the moment he sits down and the ankle of his bottoms ride up, there are his cup noodle print socks, or his frilly strawberry socks from Mike the Bully, or rainbow socks that everyone looks into a bit too much. He has a collection, mind you, an entire display of silly socks and an abundant lack of shame.
This was much longer than intended, but my favorite one of these was definitely the one about Levi and Nanaba.

S3 EP6 (thoughts + theories)
I want to get all the insane predictions out so I can look back on how much I clowned.🤡
These are ideas based on the moments that were in the trailer/teasers/stills. Or things that I feel might be addressed before the end...
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hillerska closing down🏫
We aren't directly told what Felice said in her interview. It's left ambiguous. So why wouldn't they tell us? Sure, there's a chance that she just praised the school but....
we got that very small snippet of the forest ridge boys yelling at each other. Could this be because they heard that Hillerska was going to shut down?
Simon (and his family) might move away 👋
they have the money now ig. this could be a reason why the ending, as ive seen around, has occasionally been described as 'open'.
this could be the context behind the shot of Linda's head on Simon's shoulder.
or maybe the 3 of them are doing smthn related to micke?
Abdication or King Wille? And August...👑
I think one of the reasons for August's storyline this season was for us to understand him more as a character so that if he becomes King, we know that he'll actually try or that he may not have been as bad as we thought. (my opinion of August isn't necessary here).
we really see how much the monarchy consumes Wille this season. Though I don't know how we'd approach the topic of abdication in just one episode.
wille has said that one of the reasons he wants to remain Crown Prince is bcos of Erik. Knowing what we now know, i'm intrigued as to what will happen.
will they acknowledge more of August's eating disorder?
August and Sara🤔
I think felice will (eventually) be fine with it. I don't know about Simon.
Things will work out, i'm sure.
Frederika and Stella💵
....they'll kiss in ep6. something will happen between them, anyway.
Shot of the 4 girls hugging
frederika has realises she likes stella by this point??
Roussea?🐎
maybe Roussea will get a slight mention in a conversation with August. Or maybe not. Who knowwwss
Wilmon screaming in the car🚗
is this Sara's car? things need to be okay by this point, right? is it after the lake scene??
Wilmon stare down👀
how? will ? this? fit? in?
is it after the graduation ceremony but before the neon party and the lake scene? does the shot of wille (with simon's hands around his neck) come after this?
is the lake scene not the final scene? is this scene actually the next day during the graduation?
does simon tell wille he's going to move away?
Tumblr media
The Neon Party + Lake Scene 💧
the neon party is where they reconcile.
BUT i dont think it'll be a full reconcile. Simon's line 'Can't we just forget everything that's happened? Just for tonight?' makes sense to be here.
the lake scene with the swimming could happen because they both leave the party early, i dunno.
is this the last time they're able to hang out (bcos simon is moving away and bcos Hillerska will shut down)?
but we've all SEEN that it looks sad, which doesnt look all that great for endgame, and we've also been told that this is (most likely) the final scene. so. get tissues ready.
(am i crazy or is there a tiny smile on simons face in this scene? from that edmar promo we got? )
swimming happens after the sadness right? bcos (apart from the tears) they dont look wet.
if its the final scene idk what the hopes r for wilmon endgame icl
MUSIC (+Wille's birthday present)🎶
we know that 'Alice' by Rhys will play at some point. Doesn't mean it'll be a wilmon scene. it could be sara and august OR frederika and stella (?)
normally, there's a song in ep4 that's repeated in the final moments of the season. ep 4 in s3 doesn't end with a song and (from the one check I've done), i can't really hear any of the other songs used in that episode as the final song of the season. then again, i could be wrong
ELIAS SONG?? they could play 'revolution' again to make it a full circle (dont think this will happen tho). they might use a new song. i just rlly hope we'll hear an Elias song and...i feel like we will.
THE TRAILER SONG? I really pray this will be in the episode. I pray i pray i pray i-
we'll hear Simon's new song. I don't know how or when (especially if this is simon's gift to wille) but...c'mon
initially, i didn't think Redlight would appear in YR. Omar has a career outside of the show, but i do agree that the lyrics fit wilmon quite well. also, if we're gonna hear Simon's new song then I don't know how the script would work around Simon singing another song. He told Wille that his present isn't yet finished (which im sure is the song simon is currently working on), tho ig we could argue that he may sing a brand new song.
BUT then i realised that simon doesn't have to sing this song. redlight could just be part of the soundtrack ( it seems that everyone got to that conclusion before me). and the way that it's being promoted this week has me suspicious. I don't wanna get my hopes up, and maybe Omar is just being clever and promoting it during the week of YR hype, so i dont think redlight will be in s3. BUT I WILL BE VERY HAPPY IF IM WRONG❤️
ig we'll find out when the playlist gets updated
Football Field Scene
to my knowledge, we haven't got proof that they filmed there apart from that pic from Lisa (and are we sure this pic is from s3 filming?)
it would be AMAZING if they returned to this setting. ICONIC.
but idk how why they'd return here and how it would fit
it might not be a wilmon scene (could be simon + rosh + ayub, but i think theres a higher chance of it being a wilmon scene than the trio)
question- lisa said it was a wrap with a pic from the football field. which COULD mean that the last scene they filmed was there (tho it might not be the actual final scene) - was this where edmar couldn't stop crying?
💜WILMON ENDGAME?💜
they better or im going to riot
no but srsly, i dont think we'll go down a 'la la land' route. worst comes to worst, it'll be a positive open ending e.g. 'you were amazing. you'll be wonderful. we'll meet again with more freedom.' it'll be even better if there's a time skip here hahahha
like the end of ep5 gave me no hope cos idk how they're gonna get back together in one episode. but anything is possible.
arguably, the promo we've got since then leans towards endgame (?), but i dont think they'd reveal they're gonna be endgame if there wwen't gonna be more issues.
EXTRA
theres so much to cover in the final episode!! so i dont think everything will be acknowledged/addressed. things will be left ambiguous to keep the viewers thinking.
imagine if the break up at the end of ep5 wasnt that huge. that theyre still together (with tension) at the start of ep6, then they kidna ignore their disagreement. this culminates until the end, where they break up ( but very unlikely)
the future letters were there to show august's past. but could there be more to it? could we get a time skip? (again, unlikely imo. but would be sweet if done well)
a reference to the heart simon drew? maybe? probably not...
will simon give wille his orange jumper back? id love to see this on our screens but im sure we wont.
will sara's necklace make a comeback?
where does wille's 'what if I don't want to?' line come in? and the queen's line...
the shot of wille in the library (with that book in clear sight) hasn't yet appeared, right?
simon talking to sara by micke's house....hmmm. i would love a simon and micke interaction
volleyball scene + running into the lake happen as a connection to graduation?
wille with those sunglasses is a moment with felice?
do we hear anything more abt wille's birthday wish?
EXTRA .2
there are plenty of moments that happen that we don't see as viewers. so that jumper simon wears at the start of ep 2 looks like wille's. and if it is, then we didnt see the moment simon stole it wille gave it to him.
and when simon mentioned a mental health foundation, it implied that they may have had a discussion abt wille's anxiety before.
the piano scene in ep2 could have been a piano lesson that wille was giving simon, which probably means a lot more of these happened without us knowing
this makes me wonder how much wille knows about micke??
simon told august that sara's with her dad and all that- so does wille also know?
WHEN I FIRST WATCHED AND FINISHED S1 AND S2 OF YOUNG ROYALS, i knew wilmon would be together by the end of s3. like i was 100% convinced the show would end with them happy bcos that's what it had leaned towards the entire time. the vibe of it just screamed wilmon endgame to me.
i really hope past me was right, bcos the s3 promo really had me wondering. and then ep5 had me proper questioning. but netflix (and lisa) will have to pay for so much therapy if they arent endgame sooo🤷‍♀️
livelovelaugh wilmon ig
edit: ive just listened to omar's interview and now im qquuiiitteee sure redlight wont be in ep6🤷‍♀️
edit 2: will anyone else find out that it was august who posted the video?? will this prevent him from taking the throne??

Companion piece for Ell's comic about our boys teaming up in the @tmntaucompetition ! It's so cute I had to do something.
I forgot the tag lol @intotheelliwoods
Big thanks again for the perfect 50/50!! Teamwork and friendship rule the day again!
~~~
Leo doesn't expect anyone to be able to see him or hear him. That the other ghost Leo can is already surprise enough, and they had lots of fun between matches.
But other than that he doesn't get his hopes up. It's not like he needs anyone to see him; he participates well enough by puppeteering Donnie (who lets him do it, though with an excessive amount of complaining), so he's not completely bored. And other than the times when he goes to hang out with the other ghost, his brothers are always right there with him, and they make sure he doesn't feel left out.
So it's fine. Everything is fine and cool and dandy and he doesn't need anything more.
But then it's declared that they'll be teaming up with the Leos who are each missing an arm, and the older Leo, the one who seems so nice and cool but who still intimidates Leo a bit, turns and actually looks at him. Not through him, or around him, but at him.
The big Leo points, and now they're both looking his way.
"Are they... looking at me?" His heart jumps in excitement, and he turns to call out, "Hey Raaaaph! The one armed Leos are looking at me!"
He's expecting to need his big brother to translate, but that's okay, because at least it's something. Or hey, maybe these Leos know sign language too-
"Uh, we can hear you, dude."
It hits Leo like a shockwave.
"Wh..."
They can see... and hear him? But how? None of them have managed to achieve that!
Hope soars at the same time the fear of disappointment swims in his gut. If they can see him and hear him, can they... is he... "Am I..."
He stares at his hands in shock. They're the same as ever, and he can't feel anything from them, but then-
"New teammate!"
Then the other Leo is running across the court to him, and he-
hugs him. And Leo can feel it.
Leo melts. He reaches to hug back, and he can, and it's a bizarre feeling, to touch someone else's shell and realize it's his own, but it's not like his life has never been bizarre before.
His hand passes through the robot arm, which isn't a surprise - he can't touch Donnie's battleshell, either. For a second the other Leo stiffens, and Leo figures out the problem fast - moves his arm down so it's not encroaching on the weirdly blank space where his arm should be. The other Leo relaxes again.
"Oops... Looks like my robot arm still phases through..."
It doesn't matter to Leo. A one armed hug is still a hug. He realizes too late that he's shivering into it, and boy is that embarrassing, but the other Leo doesn't call him out.
"Haah... You're going to put Donnie out of business."
...
Afterward, after he's properly introduced himself to the older Leo (which was nerve-wracking but ended up being fine, actually), they get food for everyone who can eat and then find a place where they can all sit, waiting for the next match (and hopefully playing the right sport this time). Donnie has gone into full science mode, goggles down as he examines the two arms his alternate universe selves built, though the other two Leos seem so used to this behavior they barely react to it.
The other Leo perches on the big Leo's lab, snuggling in against his robot arm. He's so familiar with big Leo; it's clear that they rely on each other a lot. Leo's glad, because if he had lost an arm in the Krang invasion without any kind of support he's not sure what he would do. At least they have each other.
Big Leo pats his lap and looks at Leo, who freezes.
"Uh... is that okay?"
"Yeah." Big Leo laughs and jostles the other Leo, who scowls at him and swats at his plastron. "This one uses me as a climbing tree all the time."
"It's your own fault for being so big, you crinkled crape."
Leo hesitates a moment longer, but then he climbs up into the big guy's lap and settles in against his remaining arm.
It's...
ridiculously cozy, what the heck! No wonder other him does it all the time!
Leo curls up into the older Leo's embrace. He's shaking again, his whole body lighting up at the touch, and it's so embarrassing but Big Leo just pulls him in tighter without saying a word. He nuzzles in a little without thinking about it, and no one says anything about that, either.
"Comfy, Ghost Pepper?" asks Big Leo, and Leo looks up at him.
"Ghost Pepper? Is that me?"
"Yep." He puts his robot hand on other Leo's head. "This one is Pea Sprout, so you can be Ghost Pepper. I can't call you both Leo."
"You can call him whatever you want," says the other Leo, wiggling to get more comfy. "Wrinkled raison... Crinkly cantaloupe... Crusty carrot..."
Leo laughs. "What are these nicknames?" With that list, Ghost Pepper isn't so bad.
"Trust me, they all fit."
Big Leo makes a very put-upon noise but doesn't protest to the names, so Leo decides he'll have to come up with some of his own.
They chat for awhile about their worlds, the differences between them, funny things their brothers have been up to. The other Leo shows both him and Donnie what the array of buttons on his arm do (no demonstration of the self-destruct button is given). Leo tells them about how Draxum gave them magic fighting lessons.
Eventually, the other Leo starts to doze off. A quick look around shows Leo that his Raph and Mikey are snoozing, too, Mikey curled up on Raph's back. Donnie's still awake, messing with his phone as usual, though his half-lidded eyes betray that he'll probably join them eventually. He sits apart from them, enjoying having his personal space back for now.
"If you want to nap too, go ahead," says big Leo.
"Oh, uh... I can't sleep like this." He rubs at his head. "At best I just kinda... zone out."
"Oh." Big Leo looks sad about that, but he nods. "Well, that's okay. We can keep each other company, then."
"Mm..." Leo twists to get more comfy, and big Leo rubs his hand down his arm. It makes his shudder a little, but big Leo continues to be a real bro and not comment on it. "Am I going to be this cuddly when I get old?"
Big Leo laughs. "If you want to be, I guess you will."
He thinks that maybe he wants to be like this Leo. Kind and strong and so sure of himself and surprisingly very cozy.
"Maybe... I guess I wouldn't mind it," he says, and big Leo chuckles again.
He pulls him in tight, and Leo feels safer than he has in weeks.
What are Gio and ell’s favorite things to do together?
One headcanon I have is that Glep and Marge are absolutely loaded because Glep has been alive and accumulating money for so long. Also I think Marge has a good amount of money from her own family and they become even richer from Glep's presidential term(s). They are actual billionaires.
I am writing this on the Giorno and Ell post because it is relevant to their lifestyles; each of Glep's kids has a massive "inheritance" (their parents are still alive) to do whatever they want with! Which means that Giorno and Ell don't need to work to survive and have lots of time and resources to pursue their favorite hobbies together.
Traveling is a big one! They travel a lot for the Olympic Games and other athletic obligations, but even outside of that they have fun exploring different places. Sometimes they go with their kids (plus a few nannies) and sometimes they travel as just the two of them. They've done thrill-seeking stuff like bungee jumping, rock climbing, hang-gliding, etc, tried lots of new foods, and also gone to a lot of the typical tourist spots for sightseeing. (Gio once spent a good few hours getting photos of himself posing with those half-naked Greek statues.) And of course they always make sure to catch a sporting event before splurging on gifts to take home. If they're expecting a baby and can't fly internationally, they always try to find something fun to do within driving distance. At least a couple of their kids were definitely born during vacations.
Couples' workouts are another activity they love! As professional athletes, they have to keep up a full-time routine. They're both very self-motivated individuals, but it's nice to have your best friend cheering you on through every rep even when your muscles are burning. They also exercise together in more traditionally fun ways like playing beach volleyball and bowling and other games like that, which I count in this category
Also add couples' massages to that! Mostly sports massages but sometimes they will also indulge in a full spa experience with the mud masks and everything. Neither are the girly type but keeping your body strong and refreshed has no gender! And there's nothing wrong if it is a little girly anyway
Watching sports together (on TV) which is no surprise. Multiple times a week they'll cuddle on the couch and put on a game. It's not as relaxing as you think because they both love to yell at the screen whenever someone makes a bad play. Some of their kids have the same habit and it is very raucous until one of the more reasonable ones reminds them that the athletes can't hear you so stop yelling!!! This isn't Dora the Explorer
Coordinated Halloween costumes! They love getting silly and creative for the holiday. Past costumes have included a rock wall + rock climber (Giorno was the rock wall) and a basketball player + basketball (Ell, pregnant at the time, was the basketball).
The Real Emotional Heart (Potentially) of My Life With The Walter Boys.
Tumblr media
Hear me out.
I just watched My Life With the Walter Boys, and while I do not think it is very good, I do think this show has the opportunity to do something really unique and subversive for a teen love triangle type show. There’s no way they'll actually do it, but I think if they did do it, it would place it slightly above its contemporaries, in terms of story and characters.
The premise of the show is Jackie, a teenage girl from New York, loses her entire family in tragic accident, and goes to live with her mother’s close friend and her family in Colorado. Hijinks ensue, mainly, a love triangle develops between Jackie and two of the brothers, Cole and Alex, and drama follows. These relationships are the focal point of the show, but the show hinted at one that has the potential to be far more interesting, subversive, and healing for both parties involved. I am, of course, talking about Jackie and Erin.
Now, hear me out. This starts off as an antagonistic relationship, with Erin being Cole’s situationship/object of degradation, and Jackie being Cole’s new object of interest. Erin is framed as the jealous girlfriend/mean girl/bully character, and a big hindrance to our main couple getting together, but we quickly learn things about Erin that soften our perceptions of her. We learn that her mother is quite hard on her, and she feels a massive expectation to be perfect and to succeed. And we learn that Cole is actually quite terrible to her; not willing to give their relationship a proper label, not really learning about her interests and struggles but instead using her for comfort and as a distraction from his, and also SLEEPING WITH HER BEST FRIEND, Olivia. Just, terrible behavior, to the point where you don’t really want to blame Erin for her anger and defensiveness.
Jackie’s struggles, on the other hand, are much clearer. Its the whole premise of the show. Her entire family dying has left her completely changed, and not to mention that she is now living in an environment where, not only did no one else know her parents and sister (Kathrine knew her mom, but I don’t think she had a real relationship with her dad and sister), but no one can really understand what she is dealing with, and certainly not to the extent that she is feeling it. The show tries to put up Cole as the “person who gets it”, but I’m sorry, getting injured and losing a scholarship (which I am sure is very difficult, demoralizing, and a terrible thing to go though) is not the same thing as losing everyone you love in one fell swoop. And it certainly is not an excuse for his more questionable behavior. Also side note: there is not way in hell that that Cole Walter was getting a scholarship to play QB at Alabama, for NICK SABEN’S TIDE, but I digress. There is no one else Jackie can really confide in. She doesn’t want to be pitied or seen as weak, given all of her insistence that she’s fine, and opening up to others can be very difficult for her because of that.
This culminates in what is my favorite scene in the show. During thanksgiving, Jackie and Erin are delivering meals to people, and both are trying to avoid going home. It is here that we get an the first moment of honesty between them. Erin asks Jackie what the situation between her and Cole is, and Jackie gets annoyed. As this conversation continues Jackie becomes very complementary of Erin, telling her that she’s a catch, and deserves better than the way Cole is treating her. Jackie even tells Erin that she reminds her of her sisters, which is a huge complement coming from someone who has just lost said sister. After this they continue talking and Erin mentions that her mom isn’t a fan of thanksgiving, and when Jackie asks about her dad, Erin tells her that he died when she was ten and that “holidays suck now. But you’re just figuring that out, aren’t you?” She says this, not as a jab or full of pity, but from a place of empathy and understanding about what Jackie is going through. And Jackie, looking at her, gives a small smile.
Tumblr media
She continues on this path, perfectly articulating what Jackie is feeling and also acknowledging that it is “three times worse for her.” You never get the sense that Jackie is put off or uncomfortable, if anything she seems genuinely relieved and, almost excited, that someone else understands even one-third of what she’s feeling. She then invites Erin to spend thanksgiving with the Walters when hearing that she’ll be spending the holiday alone, and says they can keep each other company.
The girls don’t meaningfully interact for the rest of the season, and I think this is a real shame, because this friendship could be a standout aspect of a show that can feel so tropey and formulaic at times that its makes one question its existence. For one, neither of the other female friendships in this show reach this kind of depth. Erin’s long time best friend is Olivia and Jackie’s main girl friend is Grace. For Erin and Olivia, they seem to have a long lasting friendship, that takes a turn once Erin learns that Olivia slept with Cole. This is huge betrayal that causes Erin to end the friendship, and while she does forgive her in the end, I don’t think they can ever truly come back from it. For one, Olivia just seems leagues behind Erin in terms of maturity. She thinks its initially fine to sleep with Cole because the two (Erin and Cole) were just “hooking up” (which is wild, because why wouldn’t she be able to tell her BEST FRIEND was actually into him), and says that she only thought about how it would make her feel when she did it, and then proceeded to lie about it. Even though Erin certainly has her undignified moments, she seems to act out a place of insecurity and a lack of real connection, while Olivia seems more vapid and careless. You also get the sense that Olivia holds Erin back when it comes to Erin being her truest self. She encourages Erin’s poor behavior and treatment of Jackie and she makes fun of people who participate in theatre, something we know Erin is interested in (strange how Olivia never knew this about Erin seeing as they were friends for so long, huh, maybe they've never been very honest with one another). And when Erin drops both Olivia and Cole, she seems somewhat happier. She lands a role in the play, she’s standing up to her mom, and she’s fostering her connection with Danny (my favorite character, and I could talk all day about how much I love them and want them to get together). And as close as they seem to be, we don't ever hear Olivia build up Erin the way Jackie does, telling her that she is smart and pretty and worth more than being in Cole's lineup. If anything Olivia encourages this behavior, that is both destructive and unhealthy for Erin. I don’t think Erin is wrong for forgiving Olivia, I think is shows maturity on her part to be the bigger person, but I don’t Erin should let her back in to the extent that she once was. I think Erin needs a female friendship with someone who understands her on a deeper level, encourages her to be better and stand up for herself, and matches the maturity and intellect that she is beginning to foster.
Meanwhile, Jackie needs someone who doesn’t pity her, understands her on a deeper level, and matches her maturity and intellect, and encourages her to stick it out with the Walters. Now, I don’t dislike Grace. To me she’s a funny character, and I understand her function as Jackie’s more objective guide to her new town, and also a sounding board for her. Someone to talk to and let the audience in on what she’s thinking and feeling. However, as a character there isn’t much to Grace. She seems kind of one-note and we don’t ever get to see a moment of real connection between the two of them. She lets her borrow her sister’s dress, but I don’t think that’s getting at any deeper connection on their part. Not like the one she had with Erin. She has had similar moments with Cole, but rarely is he able to articulate what she’s feeling, tell her just what she needs to hear, and empathize with her from a place of genuine understanding, not pity or uncertainty. Erin truly understands her, doesn’t pity her, and seems to be well ahead of Grace maturity wise. Again, I don’t dislike Grace, but she can a bit shallow at times and she instigates drama. I also acknowledge that Erin has some growing to do, but her growth in season 1 is already one of the best and most compelling plots of the show, and I think I would be worthwhile to explore it further in season 2, through a stronger friendship with Jackie. It would also cut down on the amount of subplots, the amount of which is a pretty big problem for the show as a whole. Grace’s existence in the show is purely for Jackie to have someone to talk to who isn’t a Walter. Someone who can objective and give her advices. If Erin filled this role instead, then her plots could becomes for central to the main plot giving it more room to breath and negating the need for unnecessary subplots for Grace and Olivia. I also think that this relationship would be more fulfilling for Jackie, being based on something more intrinsic rather than your best friend just being the first person at a new school who was nice to you (which is exactly how she and Grace became friends in the first place; a perfectly valid way to meet people but for a show with so many characters I think it makes sense to consolidate some of these character functions). We already have hints that Erin would be really good at this. During the thanksgiving episode we learn that Jackie’s uncle might file for custody and Jackie is conflicted whether she should stay or go. After hearing this Erin encourages Jackie to stick it out here telling her that the Walters are a great family and to hold onto them. This is advice given to Erin’s own detriment. If she wanted, she could have encouraged Jackie to leave and then she would’ve had Cole to herself again. Instead, she is telling Jackie to stay. All of this in addition to the fact that Erin reminds Jackie of her late sister, giving Erin the potential to fulfill a huge emotional need in Jackie's life. I think Jackie and Erin could have a really compelling enemies-to-best-friends kind of relationship that would far supersede their current friendships, and even has the potential to be the emotional heart of the show.
Another story this reminds me of is the 2022 movie Along For The Ride, also produced by Netflix. Its a story about a girl who is spending her last summer before college with her estranged dad. Here ,she meets a boy, makes new friends, goes on wacky adventures, and I’m the only person I know who has seen it. Its a fine movie-nothing crazy-but one thing they did that I really liked was in how they subverted expectations in the mean girl character. The main character, Auden, gets off to the wrong start with the popular girl, Maggie, and while the movie could have kept them enemies, they instead have Maggie take Auden under her wing and incorporate her into the main friend-group. While this movie obviously wants to keep the attention on the love story, you kind of get the sense that Maggie is the one relationship Auden will take with her beyond the summer. The movie ends with the pair staring their freshman year of college as roommates.
Tumblr media
Even though the movie is a romance—and the friendship is given much less time—there is still room for both, to the point where the female friendships feel much more compelling, long-lasting, and necessary. I think there could be a similar situation in MLWTWB, where even though much more time is given to the romantic relationships, the show ultimately makes the cases that female friendships are the relationships that see you into the rest of your life. A friendship between Erin and Jackie could even be a nice parallel to the relationship between Jackie’s mom and Katherine.
Its almost......as if......two girls who start out hating each other........only for them to later become best friends is..........a really compelling story that......people like to watch and engage with. its almost like.........the biggest movie of the year was able to do this while still holding space for a love story
Tumblr media
Is it possible that this formula could.......be successful?
I mean, they're even wearing pink and black for crying out loud!
Tumblr media
How perfect could this be?!
Ultimately, I don’t think the show runners will do this. This would be a hefty arc that if done right has the potential to distract or take time away from the main love triangle, and they are never going to to that. Which I think is a shame. At this point its perfectly set up, and I would go as far to say that it would make the show good, and worth watching. But, all and all, I am not holding my breath. I will watch season 2 to see, hopefully, Danny and Erin get together, and to latch onto any JackieErin friendship crumbs I can find. If you got this far, thank you so much and let me know if you agree because I am dying to know if other people feel this way.
