A Perfectly Sane Ramble On An SML Animatic

Okay, so I have been lately obsessed with CosmixToons with their SML animatics. I have seen their otherworks like the FNAF one and the OC ones and they are fine and really well made, but I am mostly talking about their SML animatics. Why do I love them? Because of the whole reason of how... well made it is. The character designs are straight out of Hanna Barbera. All of them are well made and a ton of fun. You can tell that they are made with a lot of fun as my personal favourite will always be Kill The Lights, but this one...

The Both Of Us, or how it is named, This town ain't big enough for the both of us, is something that I am fascinated at how this works on so many levels. It is an AU, clearly, but the way it is made, is really interesting for me for no reason. The first thing that I got from the animatic is this:

(Sorry for the Youtube title and bar) is that Jeffy is evil. Now, the thing about Jeffy is that he is a little shit, like a big piece of shit at times, but it is not shown that he is pure evil as he does have moments where he loves Marvin and Rose, but to see that he is completely evil and took over the world. Now, that is something I would pay to see what happened. Why did it happened? My headcanon is that he was corrupted with the subscribers, views and likes, like a clout chaser, because he was SML's most famous character and he brought in the most views. That got to his head to the point that he eventually ruled over the world and would not be shocked if he killed Marvin and Rose in this.

The Second thing about this is that:

Penelope is the heroine of this story/animatic. Now, I knew that she has to be important due to the post before this was released, but to see that she is the heroine shows some character growth and an interesting character to save the day and beat Jeffy. Btw, if you asked why she looks so different from the Puppet Penelope, it is because CosmixToons dislikes her design and re worked her design. I love this design as it is almost the stereotypical Tough Girl hair, but you can still see a lot of differences from it.

The third thing about this is:

THIS WOLVERINE STYLED WEAPON! I do not know what the hell is that, but I am all for it because it ABSOLUTELY SLAPS FOR NO REASON AT ALL! Also his red eye?!? Absolutely cool looking.

The next thing is that caught my eye is that Cody, Joseph and Chef Pee Pee (Yes, that is his real name) are part of the resistance against Jeffy and it shows that it has been going on for several years now. This is interesting to me because I wonder... who is left out of the cast? I think it would be Simmons, Brooklyn T Guy, possibly Jackie Chu and Karen, but that is about it. I love these designs by the way, blending the alright puppet designs into their designs.

I just love this to death.

This. This is both adorable and tragic to death cause this implies that Junior is dead. The main focus of the channel is dead by the hands of Jeffy and it shows how it affected Penelope where just remembering it brought her to tears. This is one of my favourite things from the animatic. When I say I like Junior and Penelope, this is the version is what I am talking about. As this works on so many levels. I love this so much.

I think that is about it, it took me 20 minutes to write all of this and I can not believe that I wrote this much for an SML animatic.

I have a really hard time sitting down to work/study for long periods of time and the only thing I’ve discovered that helps me with that is to drink immense amounts of water while I do it. Bcuz it makes me have to pee and then I get to get up and take a break every 30 mins and get to sit back down and study. So it’s like I’m actually only studying for 4 30-minute periods instead of 2 hours.

Live Playing Double Exposure First Thoughts:

A: Okay, I do love that you can pick Max’s outfit right away. I chose the rainbow sweater.

B: This sounds over dramatic but it was so intense to see Max’s face again. For a very brief moment I was 13 again watching Max wake up in the storm.

C: Am I insane or all the sounds in this game like…muffled?? I have my audio settings all the way up so it’s not that. Speaking of settings I also took the motion blur off and the graphics look so much now.

D: I’m already finding it super interesting that Max finds comfort in the destruction of old buildings after hell week. That could mean a lot of things but I’ll wait to see if the game tells me before I get analytical.

E: I love Safiya already. PLEASE let her be a love interest.

G: Max lost her powers after hell week? That’s also super interesting holy shit. I’d love to know more about that, though my guess is that Max maybe completed her purpose with her power and therefore lost it? I wonder what that would mean for Daniel and Alex….

H: I’m trying to not to think of Chloe to much, but man she would have loved an old abandoned bowling alley.

I: Getting used to older Max is an adjustment. She doesn’t feel out of character per se, but it is weird because I keep expecting her to act like her eighteen year old self and then she doesn’t because she’s older now.

J: Older Max is already coming off as a lot more confident/reckless than younger Max. I like that change a lot!

K: I don’t know how I feel about Max making a one liner every time I examine anything.

L: Ah fuck. Is fate after Safiya or Max this time.

M: Did they really put the “We will :)” flashback right before making us confirm that Max and Chloe broke up. I’m going to fight Decknine.

N: Max is never beating the autism allegations.

O: I know people are upset at the “high school sweetheart” line but in context it seems like Max is trying to deflect the conversation to not talk about what Chloe actually was to her.

P: The texts between Max and Chloe were so uncomfortable to read. I know the storm changed them both, but….i don’t know…it just seems weird that Chloe reacted like that to Max wanting to move in with her permanently. I’m getting the vibe that their relationship was mentally and emotionally over on Chloe’s end way before it was on Max’s end.

Q: Max is ghosting her parents now and that devastates me.

R: Can I have a middle ground option on Amanda? I’m not ready for Max to have a huge crush yet, but I wouldn’t say she’s not Max’s type.

S: Okay, the Chloe/Victoria thing seems like fanfiction. It’s the only thing so far that I’ve gone “ugh” at.

T: The Vortex Club parallel is not lost on me.

U: I’m sorry but Max’s eyes look so bad…she also looks like she had a different model from every other character for some reason??

V: I’m just going for it and saying “A date thing” If Safiya is a romance choice later on I’m going to be so mad. But that’s what other saves are for.

People real life don’t believe me when I say a lot of ideas just come to my head and that they’re Heaven sent. Especially when it comes to my art. I don’t know why I made 95% of the art pieces I’ve created. Sometimes I’ll look at something, it could be anything, a picture of a plant, whatever,- a woman, and then boom I get a flash of an art idea that’s related to whatever I’m looking at. Most of the time, I get ideas or visions that have nothing to do with what’s going on around me / for me at all. A lot of people wanna believe a lot of my inspiration comes from this app or other artists. The truth is, I just started allowing myself to be inspired by other people and artists in 2022. Any year before that, all my ideas came from my mind. I used to be very stubborn because I always knew nobody has a mind like mine. People even say it. So I thrived off the fact that I received the most crazy art ideas from God.

So it frustrates me when people compare me to anyone else. I rarely get accused of copying. Maybe two times that’s ever happened in my life and let’s just say I took that extremely personal. Because my mind truly isn’t my own I feel sometimes, I truly believe Jesus and God give me my creative ideas. Even as a person, I’m always being reminded that I am weird, odd, and rare as fuck. I be chilling too. I’m so different. That’s why it triggers me sometimes when people want to be weird, odd, and rare so bad. Cause it gets lonely. It hits different when you were made to understand others but God only wants a few to understand you.

I literally cannot explain to people why I am the way I am. This why I always say I’ll never beat the autistic allegations. My Moms and sister been saying they always assumed I was on the spectrum for years, and it’s not a bad thing. & I ain’t saying b/c I’m odd that means all odd folks have autism like nah. But whoever is meant to receive this message gone feel me anyway. I’m just more than sure I’m on the spectrum (Update: November 2024 it got confirmed)

It’s just weird being this way.

I really have some sort of artsy super power, sent from God. I have many other gifts too but we talkin creativity right now. It’s insane.

opening a petition to get you a new pair of headphones,,, i too am never beating the autism allegations because i need to listen to something every time i draw or go outside alone </3

I technically have a new pair of headphones that I can use, but they're wireless and the same company as my other ones, so I'm afraid that they'll most likely have a short battery life like the other wireless headphones.

I'm wondering if listening to music on almost full volume (yes I know it's damaging for my ears, but the music doesn't hit the same if it's not full ((or near full)) volume) was the reason why the wireless headphones died off as quick as they did.

But like my headphones that have wires last longer than that and the only reason my last two wired headphones broke was because I keep like stretching them a bit so they can fit over my hair. I'm growing out my hair and it's thick so I feel like I have to like stretch the headband of the headphones so it goes over my hair better.

I'm going to try and not pull at the headband when I get my new headphones because I already go through headphones like crazy because they die out (though again, they last a lot longer than my wireless headphones did) due to how loud I have my music.

Anyways, I feel seen by you also needing to listen to music when doing something creative. Because I truly thought that was just a me thing. I once asked my sister who is also a writer if she feels like she writes better when listening to music and she basically was like "Not really."
