In the soulmate scene, I really really love that after TK is like “why do you think I ran?”, that Carlos seems to just take a moment to himself before talking again- kind of like he’s internally processing that TK was just as gone on him as he was because you know he was spiraling all season 1 about being all in at the very beginning and TK just wrecks in - in such an amazing way- with just one little comment back. I love it.

I knowwwww I almost wonder if Carlos really didn’t know that. Like didn’t know the extent of how much TK felt for him right away. Maybe Carlos was more under the impression that like TK was attracted to him and was into casually hooking up with him but that’s how deep it went, at the beginning until Carlos wore him down. When actually what happened is TK went “oh fuck this guy is amazing and I could so easily fall in love with him by like next week but I can’t let myself do that, I’m too broken and I’ll ruin him, I have to pull away to save him from me.” Maybe TK never said it in quite such stark terms because they did fall in love so it didn’t matter anymore, and that’s the first moment Carlos is really understanding what TK was feeling 🥺 I can’t even handle them
