AHHH I love the deep colors and how the glow contrasts so well with it, and you captured the pose of these two perfectly! Eclipse is such a menace, augh The expressions are so good with Eclipse's wicked grin and the vigilante so annoyed and enduring all of that

I love how you do the ribbon and seashells!!! The little pearly colors to Y/N's scales and the black fins are so pretty, no wonder Eclipse's is down bad hehe

Soooooo how we feeling guys? Just read Pearl Eye but I had drawn this for it a few days ago and it matched with a scene in the fic surprisingly well, I only fixed a few small details once I'd read it. was really depressed and sad lately abt losing a bunch of friends/ppl i believed to be friends this year, esp someone i considered my closest friend of over 10 years who lived w me in my house for a long time too, that i started to regret cutting ties even tho it was a rather toxic/uncomfortable thing we had going on (he was very clingy and attached and jealous of me and started stealing my identity while spreading lies abt me till it really became a problem) but hearing now that he uses AI "art" bc he apparently still tries to become me, even tho he went to the same fucking art college after i graduated from it and learned stuff etc (you dont need to go to art college to get good at art btw, imo its a waste of time and money tbh), immediately made me lose all the regrets and sadness over our broken friendship LMAO bc FUCK YOU IF YOU USE AI FOR ART GRAHHHH i dont want ppl doing that anywhere near me shoooo

Uhh right neow I have like two main tags for characters that I've like. Actually played

Felicia is my lil meow meow whose campaign died but also if I don't use her for something in the next 5 months I am going to blow up. Rift of The Morrigan(Irish goddess(es?) of war and fate) who works at a liquor store and wishes the economy didn't suck

Adeline sucks and I hate her /j Uh she is the rift of Dante Aligheri's Divine Comedy(the inferno purgatario and paradisio), a linguistics major who needs catholic god to get her to go touch grass. She has one older brother(Sven) who has had his lore change so much since I first made him but he's normal around other people and will get Adeline to eat a vegetable :)

However recently I have come up with a third. Sibling who also sucks so so bad. His name is Vester(Sylvester) and uh basically Sven used to be a rift of King Minos but then he turned into a different character so I took those traits and. Put them onto the Vesterrrrr. He's a kleptomaniac who will steal your knives and lighters and also he has a magic book that he can ask for wishes from(meant to represent the bull that was a gift from poseidon to prove that minos was rightful ruler). He needs glasses really really bad but doesn't wanna wear them because he'll look like a nerd and he's not a nerd he's gone to jail!!!!!1!!

I have like. 15 other lil guys who are desperately rattling aroudn in my head and I wanna get them out so bad but also introducing characters scary :( One day I shall let Carol be real

Personality-wise, I kinda think he be more similar to the artbook personality (calm and collected) he’s still nice, in the same way as a store clerk helping someone (you know, Professional kindness hopefully that makes sense)

finished my reread of what you make, while very nearly half asleep, and i really got to full on experience what i was doing with jenny in that fic + why it is legitimately vital that this fic gets a sequel that's all about her. one of the big themes of what you make is all about how giles perceives jenny, and how that's reflected in her characterization, which is such a fascinating fucking experience to read having forgotten that i deliberately did this. she starts off the fic as this uncomplicatedly bitchy and combative individual with him just sorta helplessly adoring while completely lost re: figuring out what the hell is going on in her head, and as he gets to know her, she expands to fill the narrative until she is a fully realized person by the end. it is the inverse of canon. rather than being whittled down into giles's manic pixie dream girl, jenny becomes a complete person in his eyes as he learns to really love her without thinking about what she represents to him.

but the thing is, on its own, that message is still NOT COMPLETE. because if it ends with what you make, i'm essentially saying that giles brought jenny back to life, end of story!! and in giles's story, that IS the end, and it HAS to end that way, because on some level he is still a total romantic idealist who does still simplify and worship jenny Just A Little Tiny Bit, even at his most sympathetic. except the story does not end there and we still know so little about jenny from jenny's perspective. i am really understanding why i wrapped up this fic with the rock solid conviction that a sequel Was Going To Happen.
