I am so curious as to what you'd think about Nina and Hoodie as a duo. They've been two of my absolute favorites (even if Brian technically isn't even a creepypasta) since I was younger and I've always loved them as a sort of big brother/little sister pairing. They are so siblings to me I adore them. What are your thoughts on the sillies..

brian isnt very present in my story, partially bc ik some mh fans dont like the crossover very much. and by time ninas in the story, i want him+tim to kinda separate from slenderman as toby and kate take over. he's still involved and coming around since he gets horrible slender sickness(but its from the operator) if he's away too long, but he doesn't live near or befriend most of the main cast..

nina is very present in my story because i love her and she is such a good and fun representation of the fandom yk. but brian is much more realistic and late 30s man, while nina is a very cartoonish early 20s girl. theyre on very different fields character and life wise...

BUUUUUUUUUT they would still meet of course.

she'd be bubbling around the entire cast, meeting people through jeff. people initially think she's in the same vein as jeff, natalie, and toby, with a LONG list of blood on their hands influenced by the operator, so they just don't think much about it. theyre mostly surprised by how cheery she is, but the proxies are the first to find out she's just... obsessed with jeff..... so thats very off putting. brian isn't fond of it.

nina would develop some light slender sickness(again, from the operator) just by being around jeff all the time, but the operator never infected her because he didn't see her as a worthy vessel. so, she would have to come to the proxies about it. if toby isnt in the mood or busy, she'd just have to hope brian/tim are around with some pills that'll soothe the pain

brian is more likely to help. with nina, he'd be quick to take on a more protective role, trying to console her as she cries on the couch holding her head whining about static.

initial convos would go smth along the lines of "do you want some coffee ? or uh kids like hot chocolate huh... maybe tea" "i'm literally in my 20s please tell me toby has weed somewhere" "that does not help with this pain i promise" "how would you know" "haha. water it is."

brian was a major stoner back in his early 20s and nina thinks its fucking hilarious. . . she'll try to get him to smoke with her but he's rlly not interested LOLLLL.... hes like 15 yrs older than her he thinks its weird .

again, he's not around a lot, but she's always happy to bump into him. she'd be squealing n shit 'HIII BRIANNNN how r u :3' and he'd just be like :) hey nina. and then never answer the 'how r u' bc he doesnt actually wanna sit and talk .

its a good change of pace. he's been through hell and back for well over a decade by this point, everyone around him is a sad sack of shit, and he spent a long time just. fighting to be an optimistic, cool guy to hang around . . but .... like.... um..... its hard to be that kind of person after all he's been thru. something about nina just forces that sort of like..... glee out of him . its not a huge difference where he's suddenly bouncing and giggling and whatever, he's still just Some Guy. but he'll be like :) lol .

mayhaps he'd catch her trying on toby's goggles and he'd offer to let her try on his mask. but nina would fake gag and be like 'no i dont want that dirty musty nasty sack on my head' and he'd be like ?????. then he'd say she can wash it and then try it on. which.. as an older sibling.... is the type of shit i'd do just to get my sister to do smth for me that i dont wanna do LMFAOOO. she might fall for it just cuz my dear nina is the ultimate fangirl

i dunno i kinda struggled with this one just cuz in my au, they wouldnt be all that close and the Type of characters they are don't mesh very well, but i am super fond of the concept and would love to try expanding on it more

&Team's Group Dynamics

Decided to this request, since I like venture out to new groups every so often, so let's look at their dynamics.

Overall Energy (3 of Wands) It seems things move slow for them as a group. It is like they always have to wait for their moment to comeback. Do they have long breaks between comebacks, or do they travel alot? As a group there is a lot they envision and want to do. They also feel they have a long journey together and want to remain together for the long haul.

EJ (Strength) He seems to be the pillar of the group. The one that holds it all together. Is he the leader? He provides comfort and strength to the others. He may also feel like he has to hold it together for the others as well. He seems to be the bold and courageous one of the group.

Fuma (7 of Wands) Well, this dude is a fighter. He may create resistance within the group. May cause a bit of trouble, or create some challenges for the group dynamic. He stands strong in his beliefs, so it may be hard for him to yield to the others. He might feel he always has to push back against them as well. He has a strong determination, so it may be hard for him to back down so easily.

K (6 of Wands) I just realized I forgot to pull a card for him lol Anyway, he may be the one that stands out in the group. Is he the most popular? There is this energy to win for him, a competitive spirit within the dynamics, so it may be hard for others to go against him. He has a strong sense of ego and pride. I don't see it in a negative way, the 5 of wands gives me more that energy, but he does have a winner spirit, so he would want to one up the others. It could be as silly as in playing games or something like that.

Nicholas (10 of Wands) He may be the one that does too much, carries a lot of the burden for the others. Gets very exhausted pretty easily. He can get pretty stressed a lot as well. He just seems to put a lot on his plate. I am not sure how that plays into the dynamics.

Yuma (Justice) He may be the moderator of the group. The person that balances out the group. The more rational and logical one, doesn't really get persuaded by emotions. Can come off pretty cold. He seems fair and balanced. He might be the one that makes the decisions, or has a final say, or they just go to him to decide things. He seems pretty good at making good decisions within the dynamics. I see him wanting to hear both sides of the argument when it comes to disagreements, before coming to a conclusion.

Jo (Knight of Air) He seems to be the chatty one, can be gossipy. He enjoys banter and communication a lot. He is a very curious person and may ask the others lots of questions. He seems to always be willing to learn but can have a mouth that gets him in trouble or says things too quickly.

Harua (5 of Pentacles) He feels he may be lacking, that he may not provide much for the group. He may be the type that isolates himself or doesn't really seek help or support from the others. Or he is someone the members try to help and assist a lot. He can be an outsider at times, or feel like it.

Taki (The Dreamer) He is the optimistic one, the carefree one, a bit naive and childlike. There is an innocence to him. He sees an opportunity in anything, very hopeful. He just kind of goes a long for the ride and just likes having fun, so he can probably spark a lot of joy for the members. They may find him rather adorable and cute. He seems fun to be around. He can lift their spirits.

Maki (The World) It seems he completes the group in some sort of way. He seems like a sweet and comforting person to the others. He can be pretty protective of the members, weird cause he is the youngest, but there is a loving energy to him. He could be the one that allows them to see the world differently and makes them aware of different perspectives.

Overall, the group energy seems nice from what I got here, nothing too dramatic I am picking up on.

Okay okay okay ok ok okokokook SO. Beast Wars is a great tf show in my opinion :D Aside from tfp and maybe tfa (and maybe mtmte honestly), this cast is the one who feels most like a family to me. The animation is rough because it was made in the 90s and it was Mainframe Entertainment’s (the animation studio) second ever show. But it honestly does improve as it goes on. And if anything, it was very technically advanced for its time.

To me it has a great balance between serious story, cartoony/ridiculous humor at times, and just characters you can love. It starts out pretty simple to understand at first, but as it goes on some characters receive a lot of more depth to them and their relationships to each other.

The manta ray guy you mentioned is Depth Charge! :D he’s a serious, moody Maximal enforcer who despite working with the maximals only truly strives with one personal goal: capturing Protoform X, who slaughtered the entire base he previously guarded with Depth Charge being the sole survivor. Who’s Protoform X you may ask? You’ll have to watch to find out >:) and Depth Charge is actually voiced by David Sobolov who also voices. Well. He has a lot of roles in tf media actually LOL

As for my favorite character, that would have to be Rattrap!!!!!!! The sequel show to Beast Wars, Beast Machines, is actually what solidified this for me with a specific episode that particularly spoke to me. It sounds weird saying this about Rattrap of all characters lol but I Resonate With This Rat. My other favorite has to be Silverbolt!!! He’s a chivalrous knight in shining armor type who can be a little too optimistic and hopeful for his own good, but he always means well and I love him for that. He and Rattrap actually have the same voice actor so sometimes you’ll have scenes where the VA is talking to himself but the voices are so different you can hardly tell HAHA. Before Rattrap became my favorite I also really enjoyed Dinobot as well :) he’s gone down the rankings in terms of my favorites but I do still love him.

This is absolutely a biased opinion, but I do truly think it’s worth a watch. The whole series is available for free on both Youtube and a free streaming service called Tubi (where I watched it personally bc it has captions (albeit sometimes slightly inaccurate ones lol)). It’s my favorite because it’s really my personal favorite in terms of style. 3d animated, cartoonish/wacky/silly vibes, while also not being ironic or making fun of itself in a mean self aware way. It’s a very sincere show and that’s what I like about it :)

I really hope you at least give it a try! I actually don’t have many friends who’ve watched the show so I would love someone to talk about it with haha. The animation turns many people away sadly so I feel like they miss out on an otherwise great show because of it. I just really recommend it :)

Yesss he's awesome lol. I have so many reasons and I'll never remember them all at once but I'll mention some of the main ones 😁

Neurotic, angry, cowardly, aggressively optimistic based on nothing but stubbornness, he's my exact type of fictional character lol. Not to mention he pretty much spends the entirety of the game defaulting to being dead wrong on just about everything, which is always a bonus. I don't know why I find these kinds of things hilarious instead of annoying but I do 😂

He's got good points too. He's a perfect repackaging of his previous doubles; they're made of all the same ingredients and it's a lot of fun to make the connections among them. He's grown more as a person though, with his alcohol recovery being an obvious example. He's got some awareness of his issues and he's working on himself; we love to see it.

Also he was the first character in the game to feel real to me, if that makes sense, like he felt like a whole person without me having to read into anything. He has a variety of interests for one thing and that always helps make characters feel real, but also he's just a hot mess of a human; he has a lot of stupid pretensions, inconsistencies, emotions dialed up to 11, ye olde internal battles of wanting to act one way and doing the opposite, etc etc. And this is a weird thing to try to explain but for all his literacy his speech is very unrefined. He fits the arrogant academic trope in one sense but there's a lot more to him than "reads books" and I love that for him.

He's part of some of the best dynamics in the game (I am obsessed with John/Andrew and John/Taylor). Also he's such an important part of the game as a whole, like imagine LH without John. Characters don't have to be that important to be my faves but there's more to work with when they are.

Shoutout to his design in general and his outfit in particular (he's so extra lol), the ✨sledgehammer moment✨ including the associated character development, and his lack of romantic storyline; and lastly his acting is really good and his voice is cool 😂 It's also relevant how some players immediately slap him with negative preconceived labels without giving it a second thought the entire game but I'll spare everyone the rant (it makes me more defensive of him, my saltiness on this topic runs deep). But the bottom line is that I love him very much and I love to see other people loving him, so thank you for this ask 😊

I am a college student, and my sign is Cancer, and my personality is basically this: I am a smartass who owns it, clumsy af-always keeps breaking and losing stuff, has a teensy bit of leader instinct, pretty good at speeches, but at the same time I'm pretty childish, and people immediately assume I am very innocent due to my babyface™ when in fact I'm not lmao. Physically, I'm a shortie so I get teased very much about it and tho I've gotten used to it over the years it still bothers me. how is your day going? It's still kinda early, but overall is shaping up to be a decent one.

are you okay? I mean, yeah, for the most part.

what is your favourite shade of your favourite colour? I don't really have a favourite colour? Is that weird? Like colours are great?

are you single? Nope. Been married for 5 years, together for 15.

are you happy about that? I am. He's a pretty cool dude. Having kids has definitely made things hard, but he's my person, so we put in the effort to make it work.

what age do you feel in your brain? vaguely my current age I guess? I mean there are definitely times when I feel like there is no way I could possibly be in my late 30s (seriously, how the fuck did that happen?!) but also I've lived a lot of life and learned a lot of things, so when I think about the person I was in my 20s or even early 30s it feels very different now.

do you feel like the good times are behind you or ahead of you? Can I be in them? Can they just be all the time? I am an eternal optimist, even when things are hard I will find the good times somehow/somewhere!

do you have a best friend? Not really. I have a few close friends that I adore, but we don’t really consider each other best friends.

what's the last thing you created? Don't really have time for my own creating as of late. Made a pretty awesome wizard's hat for my kiddo the other day though. 🧙‍♂️

what is your favourite fic or book of all time? Favourite book is probably The Giver by Lois Lowry mostly because it changed the way I thought about reading. It was like a gateway drug for me and opened me up to the wonderful world of reading! Holds a special place for sure. As for fics that is hard, so many good ones to choose from but I re-read Cooperative Game at least once a year, so I gotta pick it!

what are you looking forward to? Just summer in general! I have two family weddings this year and we have lots of travel and camping planned!

It saddens me to see so many good people feeling this way. I think for me, personally, I missed the more "golden age of Tumblr" when people would reblog and interact more. So for me, when I see people talking about low interactions, I literally have nothing to compare it to. I'll admit I try to look at notes in general because if I look specifically at reblogs I'll cry lol but there's so many new people here and they don't know that Tumblr doesn't operate like every other social platform out there.

There are also some fics I know will barely get interaction. But they want to be told and I write them. I see it as practice. But I also realize this is a fairly optimistic view on things. There's also been fics where I'm like "this will get 1 note and that's from my own like" and they really well.

When I feel like I'm in a rut, I do try to find new characters to write. It helps if they're popular or a character that doesn't get a lot of attention, if you're looking for notes. I just wait for a character to talk to me.

You are NOT a mediocre writer. If you are, then I better burn my own Google drive because I shouldn't release it upon the world. If you need a hype man, I'm here. It may take me a minute to read whatever, but I'd be happy to.

Third of all, I've actually only been on tumblr for two years this upcoming week (🥳), so I also missed the golden age of tumblr and I'm so bummed about that. But while yes, I would love for my work to get more likes/reblogs/comments, I get reading a fic can be a commitment or the description/character isn't a person's cup of tea so I try to brush it off. What has really been getting me down is when I post a WIP or ask game, or post something like "I made a new theme! What do you think?" and I can't get more than three or four likes (usually from the same people). Just..... something would be nice so I wouldn't feel so isolated or alone (and @musings-of-a-rose this is in no way directed at you but just as a general statement 💖)

Lastly, thank you for a wonderful words about my writing. But PLEASE DO NOT BURN YOUR GOOGLE DRIVE!!! I adore your writing and would be so sad if you did that! 💗 And I have not forgotten about your request! It's about 75% done but now I'm at that stage where I have all the juicy chunks down and I have to figure out how to string them together into a complete story 😅 But it is still very much an active WIP that I am excited to finish! 💖

i mean, in the script it's cass. when metatron was typing, it was cass. the captions say cass. the only people who use cas are fandom?? if we're talking english, cas would be pronounced more like kaz. anyway. i don't see how this is an argument. my personal (probably unpopular) opinion is fandom preference of not using the more feminine spelling (shortened cassandra etc)

I think they probably would have met when the Oak-Garcia family signed up for kids’ soccer! Carol is forever the distant mom, so her first impression was secondhand through Darryl - “some weird hippies signed their twins up for soccer. They seem… high energy.” etc etc - so probably not. Entirely positive LOL. When she first meets Mercedes in person, I don’t imagine this would change, though I do think Carol fell a little bit in love with Mercedes the first time they spoke. Not with her as a person, but just with the idea of a woman who is very open and relaxed, who is happy with her life and her family. I think Carol would get really fixated on her and try to write it off as dislike but actually she’s utterly entranced by Mercedes

Mercedes, on the other hand, would have a more positive view on Carol at first. Mercedes is open-minded to the extreme, so she always tries to have a good first impression of people. She would find Carol awkward, but also clearly intelligent and probably be really curious about her life. And also she’s attractive ☝️ I do think Carol is Mercedes’s type (blonde, shorter than her, optimistic (even if Carol is more over-confident than optimistic but those are hard to tell apart at first!)). I don’t think Carol would linger in Mercedes’s mind, not the way that Carol would fixate on her, but she would definitely notice whenever Carol actually came to a soccer game. And then go bother her because Carol is just so funny! (Carol is dying trying not to embarrass herself.)

♇ I opted in for a full natal chart with additional degree interpretations. I went through Pluto’s entire reading with a green, yellow and red highlighter to indicate what I agreed with, neither agreed nor disagreed (or for sections which could only be confirmed over time), or disagreed - and the vast, vast majority, like 98%, was green… and nothing was red, including comments about personal family life, which - how could a stranger have known?! I’m really astounded that Pluto was able to make such sharp and accurate comments about me, and I’ve definitely gained a firmer sense of self through this reading. 

♇ Unfortunately, I am not a celebrity (as Pluto might suggest ;p), but I have been told numerous times that I could be a successful sitcom character, lol. I tend to have a strong personality and that does mean that people either love or hate me. Interestingly I’ve always been envious of the celebrity life - I really love to entertain and draw attention in a group (in fun and playful ways!), it might be narcissistic of me to say but I do think I’d make a great celebrity. It’s very easy for me to slip into depressive states, while also trying to be optimistic and diligently focusing on my tasks - I’m impressed this contradictory quality was also noticed! Overall I’ve always felt quite contradictory in character, and I noticed this, too, in how certain aspects of my chart would imply one character trait, and then another one would diverge and slightly contradict and offer more nuance in this way.

♇ The repeated comments on an obsessive nature - also extremely true. I obsess over my passions, my relationships, my long-term goals, and I find it very hard to be moderate in my approach to things. I was surprised that you were able to pick up on this as well, especially as I really do try to tone it down around other people. The comments on being potentially two-faced, or multifaceted, are also 100% correct - I try to overall be on good terms with people, and I’m prone to agreeing with someone solely to flatter them and gain their trust (which is not a great character trait, I admit, but it is certainly there).

uh oh i gotta talk abt my ocs. that i barely think abt. uh oh ummm how about nikita from my apocalypse gang since the maemon has literally nothing going on lol. info under cut

heres some newer refs (months ago) i had for them when my pc was busted

and here are the 1st really old outdated refs (along w their 2 travel buddies)

the lore keeps changing based on what i think would make sense but the basic gist is that niki was formerly a soldier for a private military company (i dont really have a name for em lol), and everyone in it got augmented a lot and put through rigorous training,, the world everyone lives in is almost completely covered in snow bc of. something. nuclear holocaust? apocalypse? idrk yet but somns been wrong with the earth for a long time. bc of that soldiers go through a lot of horrible stuff and i think maybe they fight with other PMCs and stuff for limited resources kinda like in Fallout but thats less important!

niki did somn or other to get kicked out or escape the PMS, and he had to rough it in the cold on his own. electronics break down in extreme temperatures so his augmented leg(s? idk if its one or both rn) sometimes need repairs,, he s abt to stop in an old shack when he finds this doctor (angel, right side) and this teenager thats good with guns (sorrel, left side) in there, and they all decide to travel together for some reason or another. working that out too lmao

nikita's personality is kinda like a tired optimist, like they went through a lot of terrible stuff but they always try to find a way to make the best outta it. very huggable, ver loving. skilled in combat and big in heart... likes fishing and just wants to chill forever

⚠️((If you haven’t seen Ninjago Prime Empire, SPOILERS!!!!))⚠️

Just finished Prime Empire. I’m gonna stand by this statement ‘till the day I die.

Jay gets all the good seasons.

He’s only had two, but both have been awesome. A lot of the arcs since the model change haven’t been my cup of tea. I hated Sons of Garmadon, Hunted was okay, but I hate Harumi. And March of the Oni was also around that same rank for me.

Aspheera was pretty interesting, and I did enjoy the Never Realm. But Prime Empire is the most I have enjoyed Ninjago in a while!

It can’t surpass the amazing streak we had with Possession, SkyBound and Hands of Time (plus Day of the Departed). But it is pretty high up there for me!

Can’t wait to see what Master of the Mountain has in store! Hopefully this good season streak will keep building, cause I’ve heard Crystalized has been…disappointing, unfortunately.

But for now I am freaking about Prime Empire! I loved Okino, I loved Superstar Rockin’ Jay, I loved the whole Jay reasoning with Unagami! I just cared about so many things this season and got invested in the characters. The world of the game and the NPCs there just got me so immersed! Not to mention the SkyBound parallels.

If you follow me, you probably know by now that SkyBound is my favourite season. So I was possibly reaching for some of them, but still!! The season literally starts with Clutch finding the Teapot of Tyrahn!!! Or what looks to be like it, and then a flash of gold light offscreen once Clutch walks away, rubbing the teapot.

They’re teasing me and I know it!

We get all of the ninja slowly disappearing until only Nya and Jay are left. Nya disappears and Jay is left alone to fix the mistake. I know in SkyBound the other ninja were there when Nya died. But Jay was still the only one who could fix it, cause he had the wish. So I think the parallel still stands.

And they didn’t disappear in the same order, (and Zane and Pixal weren’t even in the game) but I still think it counts.

I got to see Jay being more serious and determined to take down the big bad and save his friends. Love when Jay takes a bit of responsibility and steps up! Not to mention him using the fact that he was left behind by his birth parents to try and reason with Unagami! Even though Jay was raised by wonderful parent,(Ed and Edna love him so much) it still has to be a bit confusing and hurtful to know you weren’t wanted or given up. He had to of sat there wondering why? What was the reason? And Jay being highly optimistic, even if he complains all the time, chooses to believe it was a good reason. And he might never get to know that reason, but I think it’s pretty nice closure getting to help Unagami and Dyers reconcile, and help Unagami to get that reason that Jay will probably never get.

Jay still very much loves Ed and Edna, and I feel he will always consider them his parents, but I also feel like it’d always bother him a bit to not know why he was abandoned. So that’s why I really liked this part, kind of feels like a nice way for him to get a bit of closure on that matter.

I also just had lots of fun watching this season. I love video games, so seeing this awesome world of players, and all the cool world building for the game was amazing. I love the different realms they could go to, the little events they could use to get money and buy items and skins. It was just fun. Not to mention the inclusion of older game styles. I thought that was pretty funny for them to go through, since I personally am not that great at side scrollers and classic platformers.

I loved Jay’s skin, I wish he kept it for the entirety of the season lol. Kai looked awesome too. Cole and Nya just both kept the techno ninja gear, which looked fine, I just would’ve liked to see more personalized skins for them. Lloyd had one too, but it was just for a disguise, plus…it was super ugly. Lloyd, honey, that fit was not it.

Oh also…Jay cult.

That’s all I’ll say about that. Lol

I would say more, but I am slowly forgetting everything cause I’m tired. So I think I’m gonna end this rant. I enjoyed Prime Empire, and I will be drawing Superstar Rockin’ Jay!
