I personally love the idea of Ivan and Alfred playing hockey against one another. I think their rivalry and their friendly competitiveness make the matches fun and challenging for both parties.

But imagine if Alfred's team is suddenly losing and it bothers him so much that he decides to pull off a parent trap move and swaps with Mattie. No one notices the change except for Ivan who, at the faceoff, sees a more focused pair of eyes staring fiercely back at him.

Suddenly, Ivan is playing against Mattie who evens out the score for the period, but does not end up winning for the team. Ivan smiles, thinking he won the mind game against Alfred, but is humbled when he finds out Alfred returned to the ice in the last period to score the winning goal.

How would the allies + Germany react to their s/o wanting to do SFX makeup on them?

America: “Oh dude this is gonna be so freaking lit!”Alfred would be so game for it! He would love to see what his so could do with SFX makeup, and he would totally brag about their skill on Twitter. Also, he would love to see what cool designs they come up! Not to mention, he would love to send them some designs to see if they could do it! 

England: “Alright, I don’t know how good my face will be…”Arthur would be hesitant, not because he wouldn’t trust his s/o and their SFX makeup skills, but mostly because he would be worried he wouldn’t be a good model. He would be very insecure at first, but if they persuaded him to be their model he would be. Though he wouldn’t want to see what they did until they were totally done.

France: “Okay..just no playing with my hair!”Francis wouldn’t mind if his s/o wanted to do SFX makeup on him, and he would find some of it really freaking cool, buuuut, the only rule is they cannot mess with his hair. If they wanted something done, he would do it. Though he’d take pictures about the work they did on him and brag about their talent.Canada: “Oh..If you want to..!.”Matthew wouldn’t really care if his s/o did SFX makeup on him. He’d find some of it really cool and would want to keep pictures..though, if his s/o did any realistic type of wound, he’d take a picture and send it to Alfred, just to scare him..Russia: “If you are wanting to practice!”Ivan would think his s/o doing SFX makeup on him is a good way for them to practice but is also super cool. He would love to keep pictures to scare people with, but would also be amazed with how much talent his s/o has.

China: “Don’t make me look scary!”Yao would be down for it, but wouldn’t want his s/o to make him anything scary. He would hope to be something cute or whimsical, but if it as scary he may scream and jump. Also his hair is off limits, if they want to mess with it, he would move it for them. 

Germany: “Alright…have your fun.”Ludwig wouldn’t like having to sit still for long periods of time, but if they wanted to practice on him, he wouldn’t say no. Though if he was something scary he would love to try to scare Gilbert or Feli with it. More Gilbert since it would be sweet revenge for one reason or another. Ludwig would be proud of their work and would applaud their effort. It was tempting.
