summary : in which you, your best friends nick and chris, your nemesis matt and two other boys from your class, ethan and finn, are listed for the same 6 week summer camp, as counselors.

a/n : I hope this is good cause I just finished writing and I don't feel like proofreading right now 😭 I already have a good idea for the story of this whole series though, so I hope y'all stay seated even though this isn't smut, you dirty people (I do read smut)

he didn’t want them to know that he did care.

after looking at those photos for a little, you stand up and pin them to the pin board right above your bed.

matt looks at what you’re doing for a moment, instantly recognizing the photo.

he sighs, but as he realizes that he did sigh a little loud, he quickly turns away so you don’t notice him.

you turn around since you did hear him sigh, and you could have sworn that you saw him looking in your direction, even seeming somewhat sad, but now you’re unsure.

you let it go, not really caring anyways.

you let yourself fall back onto your bed, getting out your phone.

you start to aimlessly scroll through all the apps.

after a few moments, you realize matt also finished unpacking.

he sits down on his bed and gets out his phone as well, scrolling through it just like you.

you guys sit there in silence for a bit, around 15 minutes probably.

you’re still just sitting on your beds, not talking at all when out of the blue, you hear matt say something.

“when does the meeting start again?” he questions, looking at you.

“3pm sharp.” you mumble, no intention of keeping this conversation going.

it’s 2:26pm right now.

out of the corner of you eye, you see matt getting up.

“I’m going on a walk, exploring the campsite a bit.” he states, putting on his shoes that he left at the door of our cabin.

you look at him as he opens the door. he seems hesitant about something.

right when he is about to close the door your gaze is already back on your phone.

oddly enough, you see the door creak open a bit again instead of falling into the lock. you don’t mind it though. he probably just forgot to take his cabin key with him.

you realize that you’re wrong when you hear him sigh slightly.

“you wanna come?” he asks, almost seeming a bit shy.

you look at him blankly for a moment.

“what?” you mumble, his words not quite registering in your brain.

why would he ask you to come with him? huh?

“the walk, wanna come with?” he repeats.

“oh, uh, I don’t know. I’m not feeling too well, I think it’s better if I just stay here.” you mumble, completely out of it. your mind just can’t seem to get a grip on the thought of matt asking you to come on a walk with him. like what? that’s just too random.

he shrugs, mumbling a silent “alright” as he lets the door fall back into the lock.

for the next few minutes, you try to let this whole thing go, your minds being a bitch though, replaying this weird conversation over and over again.

matt?

the guy that dumped your friendship for some girl that he neither knew back then, nor is still friends with?

that gullible boy from then, that didn’t exchange a word with you ever since?

the one that thinks he’s above it all, like he wasn’t the one to ruin everything?

the one that’s ego is the biggest fucking thing on earth?

what the fuck?

after another moment of these thoughts rushing through, your mind seems to calm down a bit.

for the remaining free time, until the meeting, you stay on your phone, scrolling through tiktok and texting with your parents for a few minutes.

right as you check the time, which is 2:52pm, you hear the door creaking open. you instantly look up, slightly shook.

you put a hand on your chest, almost reflexive. “god.” you breathe, your chest heaving as you try to calm down from the sudden adrenaline-shock.

as you hear a soft chuckle coming from matt’s direction, you look up at him.

he’s smiling? at you? and even if that smile was only slightly, what??

was he trying to make you forget everything that’s ever happened or what? does he think you’re that gullible of a person?

he clearly doesn’t know shit a bout you.

yet, you can’t seem to not slightly smile as you see him chuckle like that.

you don’t say anything though.

the only thing leaving your mouth is a sigh since you have to get going to be on time for the meeting.

you stand up from your neatly made bed, step onto the floor and walk over to the door, grabbing your shoes.

as the grip of your hands holds them in place, you walk back towards your bed, sitting down on the edge, putting on your shoes.

when you’re done, you stand up walking towards the door. matt is waiting outside the cabin.

as you walk out, you quickly grab your cabin key from the hooks attached to the wall, closing the door behind you.

“wait does this lock itself or do I have to lock it?” you question, looking between matt and the door.

“it should’ve locked itself as far as I know.” he says, shrugging.

you push the door handle down, finding that it did lock itself.

turning around, you and matt start to head for the great hall.

the whole way there is, again, filled with nothing.

trees, benches, lanterns and pure silence are the only things surrounding you.

as you follow the path towards the great hall, you can’t help but again adore the nature of this campsite. the trees, the grass, the flowers, everything looks perfect.

you keep walking, still not stopping to look at every single thing. if you could’ve, you would’ve taken thousands of photos of everything already, but you don’t want to be late to the meeting.

we you guys arrive by the great hall, you see both other teams already waiting outside.

as they all notice you guys, nick and chris start walking over to you quickly. nick instantly hugs you.

“how’s everything going? is it at least okay?” he asks and you just shrug as he lets go of the hug.

“he’s acting weird, honestly.” you state as chris pulls you in for a hug as well.

“what about you guys though? how are ethan and finn?” you ask, looking between both of them.

“ethan is chill as fuck, honetstly. I can’t talk for finn though.” chris says, looking at you at first but then at nick.

“yeah no, finn is amazing.” nick states, seeming almost excited.

chris and you exchange suspicious glances.

“amazing, huh?” you mock.

“amazing is probably another word for ‘he could be gay’ or something?” chris giggles as nick punches him in the side slightly.

“shh, stop! I don’t want him to hear y’all! stupid fucks.” nick whispers, chuckling.

“eughh, I don’t want him to hear y’all.” chris mocks, childish as always.

“chris!” nick whisper-shouts.

chris just giggles, looking at you.

you chuckle as well before you guys head towards the others.

the six of you stand in front of the great hall in silence, waiting for ellie, or just anyone, to welcome you inside.

a few moments later, the door of the great hall is opened widely.

all of you turn to look at the door, being met with ellie smiling at all of you.

“hi! come in!” she welcomes you, gesturing for all of you to enter the hall.

one by one, all of you enter. there are a few tables pushed together to form one big group table for 2, 4, 6… 11 people.

each of you sit down somewhere. you end up sitting next to nick, on your left, and ethan, on your right.

“just like that. find your seat and feel free to chat for a moment. the kitchen team should be here any minute now!” ellie announces, but there seems to be no time left to chat as only a few seconds later two women and two men come in as well.

ellie comes in after them, closing the door of the great hall behind her.

“okay, that should be all of us! I welcome you guys to this meeting.” ellie says kindly.

“riley, anna, noah and james, meet y/n, matt, nick, chris, ethan and finn, our counsellors for the next six weeks! y/n, matt, nick, chris, ethan and finn, meet riley, anna, noah and james, our kitchen team!” ellie says warmly as weal just smile at each other.

“alright, let’s dive right in. I welcome the ten of you to this year’s first staff meeting, here at summer camp ‘blue horizon’! I hope that we’ll each and all together have a great time.” ellie announces, smiling at each of us.

“prepare to listen to a long list of information and feel free to take notes.” ellie states, already implying that it’s going to be a lot to memorize.

“first things first, as, I think, I already mentioned, each team will be taking care of 15 kids in total. if I haven’t mentioned that yet, you know now. each of your cabins is surrounded by 3 other cabins, each for 5 kids. there’s one only girls group, one only boys group and one that’s mixed.” there’s a huge pile of papers in front of ellie, she grabs one of them. “cabin W1, chris and ethan, you’ll be taking care of the only boys group. cabin H1, nick and finn, you’ll be taking care of the only girls group. that leaves cabin L1, y/n and matt, to take care of the mixted group.” ellie informs everyone.

“oh , and during breakfast, lunch and dinner, you’ll also sit in groups of 17, the cabin groups, that is.” she adds before diving into the next topic.

“secondly, you’ll find the program lists for each week every Monday morning outside the great hall. there’s a waterproof pinboard that each daily-program plan will be pinned to for that week. for tomorrow, I can already tell you, it’ll be exploring the campsite in the morning between breakfast and lunch, and in the afternoon, cabin L1 will be doing lake activities, cabin W1 will be doing fun games and cabin H1 will be doing crafting, alright?” ellie says, looking at every one of the teams, making sure they know their duties for tomorrow. “oh, and also, chris and ethan will be having breakfast duty this week, nick and finn will be having lunch duty and maya and matt will be having dinner duty.” ellie clarifies.

“that’s almost everything I have on my list for today since I didn’t want to overload all of you with information. the last thing is about the goal of this camp in general.” ellie says as she gets out another paper that she hands to all 6 of you, all counsellors.

“as you can see on the photos, the camp was badly damaged last year. the nature is already pretty much fixed or almost done, you won’t be having to focus on that. what I need all of you to do though is that I need you to improve the program, and I mean all of it. I will need you to fix some things, rebuild them stronger than they were before and overall just perfecting them. you won’t be having to focus on that for the next few days, but it will be your task for these 6 weeks. I will get into detail on this in the next meeting. I’ll let you know soon enough when exactly that is.” ellie explains.

“I hope I can count on every single one of you.” she says, smiling at you.

“counsellors, you are dismissed for now. meet back here with the kitchen team at 5:15pm, alright?” ellie says as she looks at the six of you.

all of you nod, standing up from your seats.

as you leave the great hall, you can hear ellie say “alright kitchen team, now to what’s important for you.” before the door closes.

you go over to nick and chris. “I’m allowed to go to you guys’ cabins, no?” you question, not quite sure.

“yeah, I’m pretty sure.” nick states.

“alright, I’ll come with then.” you say, grinning at nick, not leaving him a choice.

before y’all can head to nick’s cabin though, you hear someone saying your name.

“y/n?” someone says.

you turn around, being met with ethan.

“I was wondering if you have time?” he asks, seeming a bit nervous.

“time for what, exactly?” you question confusedly, chuckling a bit.

“to go on a walk. with me. alone.” ethan states.

“oh, uh,” you mumble, looking back at nick who’s grinning stupidly.

“yeah, of course.” you say as you turn back to ethan, smiling at him.

the two of you start to walk away and as you hear chris yell “oh, come on, where are you going with my cabin partner? y/n? hello?” to annoy you, you notice matt standing slightly behind him with an unreadable expression.

is he pissed?

im going to put my answers below bc i know some of these vids are likely not returning to dnp and i do agree with that i just wanted to do a fun poll abt if you could have another of these vids then which would you choose. ofc like ive said before we have no control over dnp uploads and i fully know some of these won’t come back lol

ok first of all i don’t think pinof is coming back and i think that’s been clear for ages anyways like ten is a nice number to leave it. HOWEVER i do think an april fools dapc pinof would be hilarious. answering crafties questions and whatever they send to craft universe dnp.

same with amazingdan BUT maybe there’s a slight chance of reacting to amazingdan. maybe not since so much time has already passed since pinof reactions (four months …..) honestly out of the options i’m not that bothered about pinof or amazingdan i feel like they’re classic dnp content that’s fine left as it is

ok for the pizza mukbang thing i don’t care for it to be a mukbang video lol like the actual thing was the nice sit down talk vibes pyjama pizza w friends maybe this is exactly what dan means abt being parasocial 😭 but that video is nice so i don’t think the actual mukbang part of it is that important it’s more the sit down talk style vid

i think i would do anything for another day in the life but i feel like it is prob peak parasocial content. would it count as phouse tour probably. do i think there will be a phouse tour no bc it sounds like it is still having a lot of work done 😭 and i honestly don’t really care abt it… i think the sims renovation was fun and an insight into their interior design opinions lol and that is enough for me

i know baking is not a discontinued thing anymore bc HALLOWEEN but BUT i really believed easter baking would be a thing 💔 dapc had so much put into it that i kind of forgot about wanting a baking vid but 💔 i can’t lie i think i got set on the expectation for it. like the baking vids have always been absolute classic staple dnp content but definitely the cinnamon roll one was like the baking vids to the extreme… the full potential AND THE BAKE WAS GOOD TOO. the vid was also pretty popular. so my expectations for easter were a bit high. ok so if this poll is like magically summon a dnp vid �� maybe id consider baking because i just love it so much like irl as a hobby but also then dnp doing one of my fav things too and it being so fun idk it’s some of the best dnp content imo. i would love them to try a series of making food from videogames but no offence to them i don’t get the vibe that they cook a lot…… so i think it might not happen. but dil is turning TEN in september so maybe dnp special dil birthday cake baking vid 💔 pleaese pleasemaybe

i think tumblr tag is totally plausible although ik the april fools tumblr tag thing 💔 bc the twitter vid happened i think they’ll do a tumblr one at some point. there’s so much amazing art on here not just fanart but written stuff video and photo edits so i’d want them to see all of that as well as the funny stuff. this isn’t like top of my list of things i’d want to see but it’s definitely one of the more plausible things

dapc behind the scenes content its either happening or it will never be spoken of

honestly idk if they would do reactions to the super amazing project. bc like what vids would they choose. maybe i can see them referencing it or discussing it if someone asked or in a live but idk about reaction vids.

ok draw my life would be fun and i’d watch them. i’d watch an updated dil draw my life too. they put so much effort into that dil draw my life. maybe an updated one for dil’s 10th birthday will happen? that would be pretty fun.

day 12 of the final endhawks: endhawkspocalypse:

the adhd side of my brain has taken over and decided that consistency can No Longer Happen, so i've decided to make this my last day of posting, at least when it comes to sequential daily posts. i'm still unhinged-ly working on endhawks-related things for the foreseeable future though, and always happy to talk about the ship!

here's a final hodgepodge of thoughts!

part 1 - more ch430 positives

the continued use of a ranked *number system* in particular is silly imo (ig the masses do love a catchy numbered list). but at the very least, i gotta appreciate that the main characters didn't get top rankings straight outta school--when i think about how old they are post-timeskip compared to hawks, especially! bbygirl got #2 at 22 but was child-soldiered into it and was absolutely breaking his proverbial back. it's really not an aspirational thing to beat, and it's not something the main characters have to achieve to be "cool" or fulfilled narratively. they focused on their happiness, instead--shoto on finding his own identity and balancing his life thanks to his support system, bakugo on getting his boyfriend/whatever/queerplatonic-died-in-each-others'-arms-on-a-battlefield-in-a-past-life-and-now-they-keep-reincarnating-together soul-partners/rival back at his side so they can keep pushing each other, etc.! mirio's ascent notwithstanding, it's a healthy nugget from the final chap.

another cute thing from 430 is when hawks jokes that nagant is a villain. this joke has layers to it, considering both had to take on the villain label because of the commission, also contributing to their respective traumas under the commission. (they both even had someone cradle them in their arms shouting that they were still a hero despite them being at their low points--and physically very crispy. one of those someones being hawks himself, ofc.)

next, i gotta appreciate how unfettered hawks's facial expressions have become (also, his under-eyes are already thicker and darker, bro needs to sleep 😭) compared to how subdued they were in the twice fight (and to be clear, his expressions still screamed volumes then. i love how they're drawn to convey so much nuance in his emotions). once he was cut free from the commission, he stopped putting on a smile while doing hero work (there wasn't much to smile about post-raid, but pre-raid i'd argue things were bleak for him already, so at least he doesn't feel the need to put on as many airs). he also started actively sweating and showing fear, but without losing more genuine displays of confidence and happiness. (all this makes me very curious if his speech patterns have also changed in the original japanese to any extent compared to how they were at his introduction)

part 2 - dabi=endhawks truther?!?! *not clickbait*

i remember it being kinda hilarious that dabi tossed out hawks's history as an extra "fuck you" to endeavor, but i forgot how direct he is about his intentions.

he's just like, "yeah, i specifically wanted to drag hawks (and reveal his betrayal and hopefully shake your faith in him) to hurt you, dad. even though you two have hung out, like, maybe twice (may he rest in peace) in your whole lives. trust me, i knew this would be devastating for you. don't ask me how i know." like. touya my man. what are you doing. also thank you. almost makes the angst-lover in me wish he'd added a "don't worry about hawks, dad. you'll be joining him soon" right before attacking him with prominence burn to twist the knife, though understandably that would've convoluted the spotlight when the focus was meant to be on family and the touya reveal. but goddamn, just imagine.

he basically did the exact same thing to hawks by telling him his identity. in revealing a name that could only hold any significance to hawks through its relation to endeavor and what touya's existence implies about him, touya wielded a secret from endeavor's past to psychologically hurt hawks and shake his faith. it's just wild that he did it to both of them, pulled off flawlessly and with maximum drama, in rapid succession. legendary.

anyway, ppl tend to portray dabi as an endhawks anti, when funnily he's kinda more on the side of enjoying the fact they have a connection--granted, mainly as a thing to leverage to hurt them, bc he fuckin despises them (and granted, hatred in dabi's eyes is a complicated thing)--but still! he ain't in denial about endeavor's and hawks's relationship, he's an og! he's first in line! this makes his daddy issue allegations so much worse, but he doesn't care! and honestly i owe my life to him for his service in unearthing the truth; he's doing canon, in-text work to forcefeed the public endhawks crumbs that they didn't even want, and he deserves our utmost respect 🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡

part 3 - our hero academia ft. protective enji

my mind was too wrapped up in The Plot to notice the subtleties of when Press Conference Lady yells at endeavor post-raid--for one thing, i realize on a second read that she's actually kinda yelling at hawks. so much of the emphasis is on endeavor's past actions that i didn't pick up on a few key details. for one, when hawks discusses his murder of jin, the visual centers endeavor's reaction, solemn but accepting/calm.

secondly, Press Con Lady speaks up right after hawks is done talking. thirdly, what she describes--not looking sorry, empty-seeming apologies, incompetence in the face of villains--apply as criticisms equally to hawks as they do to endeavor (notably not to jeanist, as he doesn't have a past or scandalous behavior to answer for).

it's also at this time that endeavor looks more angry (just look at his frown in the panel above!) and actually gives some pricklier-sounding pushback, when before he was mainly resolved and remorseful.

notably, he's translated as saying "we" and "our". ofc he's paying respect to his colleagues at large as well, but considering Press Con's criticisms are pointed most specifically and apply most to hawks and himself, he's strongly implying and acknowledging the pain that hawks has been through.

as he goes on to speak, the word choice shifts away from "us" and "we" to "me" as he claims responsibility for what happens next and urges peoples' slings and arrows to aim at him alone--again, for the sake of his colleagues and family at large, but particularly for hawks in this moment.

the undercurrents are so understated in this scene, but the degree to which endeavor shifts the language and focus away from hawks and onto himself is profound. throughout mha, we've got plenty of thought bubbles showing how hawks feels about endeavor in outright terms, but not as many from endeavor about hawks, especially after all their dirty laundry gets aired out. but even without thought bubbles, how he feels about hawks even at the worst of times becomes perfectly clear.

Some of my manifestations from last week (with photos)

Surprise gifts

My bestie A and I regularly update each other with about our daily plan for affirming etc to keep each other accountable. I said I was manifesting VIP treatment, put on some subs and affirmed while I was making breakfast (yes I’m not a morning person and make breakfast at nearly noon 😭)

Not even a half hour later, I received a surprise delivery from Amazon:

My friend L, who lives out of state, sent me food and new bowls for the stray cats I feed, and treats for my cats (Stella & Panini are my cats’ names 😹)

VIP treatment

That evening I worked a brand ambassador gig that I booked only a couple days before. I’ve been avoiding working as much as possible lately lol but this one was nearby and paid well. It happened to be a giveaway event partnering with a local radio station and ended up being fun. One of the radio DJs was there, and me as the sponsor brand representative was given the same level of VIP treatment as the radio DJ! There was an event coordinator who basically did all the work and I just got to stand around looking pretty and getting paid for it. 😭

Gift card

After work I got home and found another package from my friend L with a gift card for me 💕

More cat food

A few days later, my neighbor left a huge box of cat food at my door. My cats are getting more spoiled than me 😂

An air fryer

This one is cool because I specifically wanted to manifest this. I had heard about air fryers for a while now and it seemed like something I would use, but I didn’t really feel the need to buy one. A couple weeks ago I was at Trader Joe’s with my mom and the cashier was saying how much he loooved his air fryer and telling me all the things I could make with it. I decided that moment I would just manifest one eventually, and forgot about it.

So the other day my mom comes to pick me up for a family lunch and she has a huge box in her hands - an air fryer?? She says jokingly “happy birthday” - my birthday isn’t for another 4 months! She said she just felt like I needed one 🤷🏻‍♀️

It’s so cute and I’ve already used it a couple times 💕

Attention from sp

Soo I have this crush-type guy we’ll call D. He’s one of my best friends and we’ve talked nearly every day for 3 years. I can talk to him about anything, including all things supernatural and shifting. We have admitted to having feelings for each other, and even had “online boyfriend” vibes for a while, but we live in different states, and he didn’t want to do long distance. I was sad and anxious about it for a while, but since I found out about loa and shifting, I realized none of it mattered and I could just shift to a reality where we’re together already 😂

Anyway I had become detached and stopped really thinking about him in a romantic way for a while. However, I realized since I basically didn’t care and wasn’t thinking about him, he was becoming distant in response. We hadn’t been really flirty or romantic in a few months, and I hadn’t even talked to him in a week, which was unusual. Although I wasn’t anxious about it or anything, I was still missing talking to one of my best friends. So I just started assuming he would go back to blowing up my phone all day, and I sent him some mental telepathy messages about what I wanted.

Monday morning he messaged me apologizing for being distant. He had been traveling for spring vacation and took a break from his phone. He then basically spent the whole week trying to make up for it, being super attentive, listening to my long ramblings about my void and shifting progress, sending me selfies every day, being more sweet and romantic than he had been in months, and kept telling me how pretty I was 🥰

Losing a follower LOL

This is just a funny one to round out my list. I hadn’t been on tumblr in a bit, and when I went to check my asks, I saw I had 556 followers. I thought “darn I missed the angel number, haha maybe someone will unfollow me so I can get the screenshot.” Not 5 min later when I went to look again, it had happened, and I got the screenshot 😂

I finally rewatched Queen of Tears Episode 16.

Its given me a lot of clarity on why I didn't like it all that much. The episode feels very filler like, reiterating what I already know, no development nothing to draw me in. So here's a list of thing I really like vs things I had beef with:

The Good:

- Hyunwoo's understanding of what marriage is is very profound and beautiful. Really appreciate that bit.

- The employees in this corporate sector have been 10/10 throughout. I cannot with how much I love them to bits. Still not over 'I just want to see the rich argue' 😭😂

- Yangi's bond with Hyunwoo is absolutely 10/10

- I like Haein trying to find the reason of their divorce. It's important for her cause why did two people who love each other want to divorce each other. But again I hate how this wasn't a main cause of comcern around epsidoe 7. Like don't brush over it fam. Don't you wanna know why the man you love and who loved you to bits wanted to divorce you?

- Those last 7-8 mins. Though I wish I had more of them. I needed a linear passing of time. Something like the Germany Montage at the start would've been perfect. But at the very end just 'Way home' playing, Hyunwoo seeing Haein as an angel to pick him up, the familiar happiness and love just spreading around them was beautiful to witness. Really got me teary eyed both times I watched it.

The Bad:

- I'm not even getting into the uselessness and bad execution of the whole Yoon Eun Sung plot line since episode 14.

- Still have no idea why Mol Soo Hee she wanted Suwan dead? Like there's no rationale? Why not kill Hae-in or SeoCheol in all those 20 years as well? It makes no sense to me.

- the episode felt so unnecessarily dramatic. I get it he got shot and was in a car accident but I was so sure he'd be okay? Did not understand or appreciate the over dramaticness also those Yangi shots in that sequence were a little tooo dramatic for me

- I don't like Haein getting back her memories cause they said the hippocampus would be destroyed. It's my fault for looking for logic in the first place but can we please stick to what we established writernim. Also wasn't this the whole problem that she's not getting back ANY memories EVER?!

- The scene between the mothers at this point was also unnecessary. We could've gotten to this realization back in the episode this was brought up the first time. She knew the location and date I don't see how reviewing her album was the light bulb moment.

- I feel super bad for this one but for me even Hae-in's bedside speech, once Hyunwoo woke up, lacked sincerity. As much as she might realize she loves him. He's still a stranger. Who does she miss? Her husband who's love she has no recollection of? The man she loved but she has no idea how she loved him? Take out the loss of memories and it would've hit me like a truck. Like she's not even holding his hand as she waits cause she recently met him. What am supposed to cry over here? What could've been? The pre ep 15 Baekhong I dearly misssed at this point?

- More on the Hyunwoo hospital scene. When he says 'I had forgotten' As sweet as it is I already knew all of it. It was so ill placed I didn't have to see it here. Also like what does she care? She doesn't remember if you forgot or not in the first place 💀

- The Yangi x Haeina acene in the hospital - what notebook are we talking about? Did I miss something? Did I fall asleep somewhere like what?! Also I feally do like Yangi but I thought all of the scenes with him were kinda forced this episode.

- The conversations where Haein tells Hyunwoo he's perfect. Is it just me or is Haein extremely expressive after the surgery? I can never imagine Haein telling Hyunwoo that he's perfect even if she think so. It was a little off putting for me being introduced to this new character in the last episode. I miss my inexpressible power girl.

- Just the voice over off what happened with Mol Soo Hee would've sufficed but I guess we had to see that SNU degree in action.

- The turn in Da hye's emotion - as sweet as it was also felt forced. They just showed me earlier she didn't care for him and bullied him. Now you want me to belive she mistook her feeling okay sureeee 🙃

- This is what meant by killing the temperment. They start Hyunwoo's monolougue 'We forgave those who we used to resent and then we cut to this long scene of Aunt Beom ja. Then we have Hyunwoo, then we have his brother's scene. The editing was off here. I wish we had a monologue of just them. It all threw me off so much.

And here's why a sequence of Baekhong was so necessary cause remember the first episode we instantly fall in love and get curious because of that lovely montage of BaekHong Germany scenes.

All in all good ending, horrible last two epsiode. Kinda left a bad taste in my mouth. It makes me long so much for the show I saw and fell in love with before. I have never felt this way about a last episode, I think I just expected better from this show.

foxkin lore pt1

HI i wanna talk about my OC foxkin!!!!!

originally i was gonna do series of illustrations for his story but capitalism has thwarted my plans once again this week 😭 work was absolutely insane and i was creatively dead the last few days BUT i still want to talk about him and this is my art account so im gonna talk about him!!!!!!!!!! i hope that's okay with u guys!!!!!!!!!!!

this is foxkin:

his design is fox derivative

he is very much human but definitely very HAIRY for a lil guy

if u ever see him without the hairy chest and happy trail it's because i literally forgot 😭 it's already happened once it's probably gonna happen again

he works as an assistant for a witch in the woods, and helps her forage, prepare spell ingredients, keep their cottage clean, fetch water, alphabetize her spellbook, etc etc

this is his witch, lilith:

she is very much mother

her wand is a three-pronged stick, which can grow and shrink in size (because it's magic✨) she carries it everywhere she goes

foxkin sees her as beautiful, kind, generous, and very very wise

he listens to most things she says and works hard for her approval

lilith the witch is very much preoccupied with her work most of the time

a typical day in their lives entails lilith sending foxkin out into the woods with a list of chores - collecting herbs and fungi, retrieving animals from traps, helping her refresh various protective spells/charms she's left on the forest floor

every evening, lilith spends a few hours teaching foxkin how to read words and spells from her spellbook

foxkin generally obliges, although sometimes he can be a little sassy and complain

lilith is very patient with him, and finds his lil quips very funny and enjoys his company

at the end of each day, lilith holds foxkin until he falls asleep

he is very happy and loves her very much

things go on like this, and life is good for a while

but one day, things start changing

foxkin notices that lilith has started to say strange things: "i won't be here forever", "do you remember what i've taught you?", "i just want you to be safe" and similar things, and foxkin doesn't know why

foxkin can sense she is growing anxious, but when he asks her she would just smile and avoid the question

she tells him everything will be okay. he believes her

one day, after foxkin has been put down to sleep, a terrible storm rocks their cottage

lightning splits the sky and thunder bellows so loud that the shutters slam open and bang a terrible ruckus in the night

foxkin wakes and screams for lilith, but she doesn't come to him

he wants to go to her but the thunder and lightning is loud and he is terrified

he cries himself to sleep listening to the rain and thunder and wind and rain, his room is cold and all he wants is lilith

the next morning, foxkin catches a cold from sleeping through the storm with his window open

he feels terrible, and finally gets up to search for lilith

but she is nowhere to be found

he searches everywhere, he calls her name from the cottage door, he goes to the creek, the cliff, the forest clearing, and every place he knows that he has ever been to shivering and sick

he comes back to the cottage and decides to just wait for her

days pass, then weeks

foxkin eats cold scraps from their food store, but it's not enough. eventually, he runs out of food.

the witch was the one that would cook for him and set traps for animals. foxkin had never done it himself

for the next few days he forages and tries desperately to trap. he is hungry and malnourished

he finally snares his first rabbit

he has collected animals from the witch's traps before, but he has never killed before

he feels sorry for the rabbit, and his stomach churns. he doesn't want to do it

but he looks again at the squirming animal, the blood on the neck from the snare

something awakens within him buried deep in his subconscious

he remembers that he has seen this scene before, but in a different life. once, when he was a creature on all fours with sharp teeth, he has eaten rabbit before

but the memory is foggy and odd, and makes him feel strange and not quite himself

his stomach growls and he can no longer control his hunger. he puts the rabbit out of its misery

he cuts the stomach open and eats the organs raw

it makes him feel sick but at least he isnt hungry anymore

okay that's it for part 1!! foxkin's story is more of a tragedy so it'll get gradually worse from here. i'll do a part 2 whenever i have energy

at first, it seemed like a wonderful idea. but with every second passed, doyoung wasn’t so sure about it anymore.

“fuck- sweetheart,” doyoung breathed in sharply, trying to sound demanding, sure of what he was saying. whether it worked out is another thing. “dare to do it once again and i swear i will make out with you on the spot, right here, right now.”

“ah yeah?” chuckling confidently, you moved your hips against his clothed dick, again. “then do it. you’ve been talking like that for some time now. why won’t you put those pretty lips of yours to a better use than talking this bullshit?”

it was a mistake. pure mistake to let you sit on his lap while doing some college homework. now you took it all to your advantage, while it was doyoung who hoped to be in charge. dammit.

“i love you, sweetheart” doyoung mumbled, completely in awe at the beautiful sight. as you giggled, unsure what got to him so suddenly, you told him that as well. he tried to keep eye contact with your full of excitement eyes but something kept distracting him, and it was your gorgeously exposed neck, with its pretty skin just waiting for love marks.

“h-hey!” caught off-guard, you let out a soft whimper when he started tracing his tongue on your neck’s skin, biting on it from time to time. since he got to your special spot, those pretty sounds of yours got more frequent, much to his amusement.

still keeping your waist close to his, doyoung noticed how you tried to get some friction, how you tried to grind on him to get to that high. he only chuckled, blowing air right on the love marks he did, causing you to shiver and whimper again.

“doyoung, i- i need you, darling,” you finally managed to get together that sentence, too focused on getting to the edge that you kind of forgot how to speak.

“where?” he gave you his hand, so you could guide him, though he did not expect that. you took two of his fingers to your mouth and started sucking on them, twirling your tongue around them as if they were top-quality lollipops. and then, as if nothing happened, you led his hand down your stomach, under your pants all the way to your soaking core.

“here,” you whispered softly, lust-filled eyes finally meeting his. his burnt brain had to restart quickly to notice what had happened but when he finally did, he wasted no time.

you were waiting for it too long, though you finally got it. your boyfriend finally decided to fuck the growing stress out of you. yay!

smearing his finger across your slit, soon he put one of his fingers in you. the sensation, sudden yet yearned for, washed all over you and all you could think of was doyoung, his fingers, and his dick.

“what’s the matter, sweetheart? can’t think properly already?” knowing too well he won’t get an answer, he decided to tease you even more. he stopped his movements, earning a long whine from you. as he stared into your eyes, he finally spoke. “tell me how much and how you want me, and maybe i’ll continue.”

but boi, poor doyoung definitely did not expect the stuff you whispered right to his ear. it was going to be a long-ass night.

HOOOOOO BOY. This is gonna be a long one! Lol! Honestly, most of the reasons is just liked them. I saw some fan work of them and they just clicked with me. I don't know. I'm not very complicated when it comes to shipping.😅 But I'm super excited to talk about my ships, so I'll try to give some more thoughts on them than that. Let's get into it!

Sonny x Rebecca: I will admit, I didn't ship these two at first. But, after I saw some fan content of them, I was hooked. I think they would have really good dynamic. We all know it's implied that Sonny has had a very rough and frankly traumatizing life. I feel like Rebecca could be good for him. Her joyful and sweet personality might just be what he needs to heal. Plus, they give me sun and moon vibes.🌚🌞 (P.S. I almost forgot. Watching Gordon take in the fact that his daughter figure/apprentice is now dating this "thieving rapscallion" would be absolutely hilarious.)

Thomas x Ashima: I've been shipping these two for years! I mean, look at the the way they look at each other and talked about each other in a few scenes! And how Thomas really wanted her to stay with him longer? Saving each other in the competition?? Or that one BWBA episode where he fantasized saving her like action hero??? That's so frickin cute!

Another thing! Thomas is used to having to prove he's worthy for all sorts of things. Ashima thinks he's already worthy. She literally looked at him and said, you don't need to change. You're perfect being yourself and I like it.😭💖 I personally feel like they're soulmates! And make a really good team! I really wish they had done more with them in show. I was hopeful when they announced they would be putting her in more episodes. But alas, nothing really happened.

Frankie x Hurricane: I love me a good villain couple, m'kay? Also, the tragedy??? Think about it, since they're working on the mainland, they don't know about steamies and diesels finally getting along. (We do know that things are the mainland didn't change as quickly.) So picture this. Back then, when the mainland engines found out that steamie and diesel had fallen in love, all hell broke loose! So, the poor ostracized couple left to escape the hostility, and went where they could never find them. A big steelworks, in the middle of nowhere... Anyways, they would totally be an awesome Disney level villain couple. I know it.

Emily x Connor: This one has what I call "I take a tiny moment and blow it up into a huge thing!" Lol. Basically, in one episode, Connor very subtly flirted with Emily and I found it interesting. It may or may not have been intentional, but either way I thought that it could be really cute. They give me knight and princess vibes. Also, I love Caitlin and Emily's relationship. (Healthy female friendships! My beloved!) Having her as a wingman (wingwoman???) for Emily and Connor sounds all too adorable. Although admittedly, this ship is definitely not my favorite on the list. I used to like it more when I was younger. Recently I got into Douglas x Emily, which has way more hints than this ship. And that one is slowly creeping up higher on the list. So we'll just have to see with one comes out on top.

Edward x Boco: SUCH A CUTE COUPLE! I didn't ship these two at all, until start reading fic's for them and saw the fanart. Then I realized these two might as well be married! Just two nice old guys, raising three rambunctious children together.🥰 Also, it seems nice that Edward finally has someone tough enough to help him wrangle in the twins when he's feeling worn out. And their personalities fit really nicely together too. Somebody put it better then me, right here. But yeah, these two are adorable! Easily one of my top favorite ttte ships!

Belle x Flynn: Honestly, I have no reason to ship these two, other than I just think it would be cute. No canon event inspired it. No fanart. Nothing. It just popped into my head one day and I decided to roll with it. Lol. I think it would be fun to see.

Daisy x Ryan: I'm not to sure what to say about these two either. Other than they give me vintage movie vibes. (Maybe it's Daisy. She reminds me of a few female movie stars from the old days of Hollywood.) And as a vintage movie fan, I really like that! Also, it's worth mentioning she literally flirted with him in one episode. That was a surprise! It was convince him to do some jobs for her, but whatever. Lol. Also Ryan was almost completely oblivious to it. My poor Gold Retriever Boy. It didn't fully compute. 🤣🤣🤣 Still, I think it could possibly work. Especially in the later seasons.

James x Nia: YOU KNOW HOW MUCH THIS ONE IS MY FAVORITE RARE PAIR!🤩 I've talked about it so much now! But, here's a few more thoughts on them! They actually have a few traits in common. They're both playful, fiery, and outgoing characters. And they both seem to be very loyal as well. Oh, did I mention that their matching color scheme is perfect. And I feel like Nia would help James loosen up a bit and get even more adventurous. So while definitely a rare pair, I think they're neat and should be explored more!❤️🧡

Toby x Henrietta: If Thomas and Ashima are soulmates, Toby and Henrietta are champion soulmates! They're such a husband and wife duo. I loved every episode they had together. The way they talked to other and how much they disliked being separated? Adorable!!!😍🧡🧡 Sometimes they remind me of my own parents.😂 Whoever came up with the idea to finally give Henrietta a voice and an actual face? I salute you. You were a true genius. Now I can hear their realistic husband/wife banter in it's full glory. Lol.

today is a special day for you, it's the day you have been anticipating the most. you couldn't sleep the whole night because of the excitement for this day to come, your birthday. you weren't excited because it was your birthday, you were excited of what your boyfriend is planning for your day. however, when a day has passed and it's finally the day, you didn't expect your boyfriend to forget it.

you woke up at 6am, you were looking like a zombie who hasn't eaten a brain for days (you just didn't get enough sleep). anyway, happiness took over your body as you see a notification from your mother greeting you.

you were happily prancing around the room but quietly because you didn't want to wake up your boyfriend who is sleeping. you got more excited remembering what you were thinking last night. you kept asking yourself "what is heeseung planning?" "where are we gonna go this time?". you went to shower and then went to the kitchen to cook some breakfast for the both of you. while you were cooking, you didn't notice that heeseung has woken up. he sneakily went to give you a back hug "good morning, love". you squealed when he hugged you, you were smiling widely remembering your thoughts about today.

"oh fuck, it's already 7am" he said.

"why? are you going somewhere??" you asked, still smiling thinking of what he might be planning.

it's already night time and you were just watching movies the whole day. you didn't use your phone at all because you were feeling down of what just happened. heeseung forgot your birthday is all what you can think about. time passed and you didn't even realized but when you did you got more sad. you basically didn't celebrate your birthday. anyway, your phone has been buzzing since earlier. you knew it was probably heeseung updating you what's happening to his practice but you didn't care. you just wanted to ignore him right now and just watch movies. meanwhile, heeseung was worried. he's been checking his messages non-stop, waiting for your reply but no. he remembered earlier when you suddenly ignored him. he was walking back and forth in the practice room worried, thinking if he said something that made you upset.

"hey bro! the choreographer said we can go home now, shouldn't you go home and surprise y/n or something" jake was sitting down drinking water, confused on why heeseung kept walking back and forth.

"i can't go home yet, im still thinking of what i said earlier. im trying to remember because i think i might've upset her"

"bro, just go and surprise her, do your thing, and you wouldn't even need to worry about what made her upset anymore. i mean it's her birthday after all so" he laughed.

that's it. he was shook at himself for not remembering your birthday. he didn't even hesitated and ran to a nearest cake shop and bought one for you. he immediately went home after, and he saw you lying down the couch watching a movie. he was about to go up on you but he saw you sleeping. he put some candles on the cake and lit it up.

"love, wake up. happy birthday" as he hugged you and wakes you up with kisses. you woke up and was surprised to see him, you were about to ignore him again but then he sang happy birthday to you. you were teary and glad he remembered your birthday, not only that you get to hear his vocals. you thought how lucky you were that you get to hear him sing for free.

"love, im sorry i forgot your birthday. i was so busy thinking about my comeback so i didn't get to buy you gifts BUT tomorrow we could go out if you like and-"

you were lying down beside jay thinking of what to do on your birthday which is tomorrow. you wanted to go to a theme park with your boyfriend, you wanted to ask him if the both of you should go and buy tickets but you remembered that you wanted to wait for his plans for your birthday. you didn't want to admit it but it always makes you flustered when he cares and plans things for you, for some reason.

you woke up early in the morning and your boyfriend jay, who is not in the bed anymore seems to be cooking something in the kitchen. "does he plans to cook a lot for my birthday?" you thought. you finally got up and went to the kitchen but didn't see him there, you were confused but you saw him sitting on the couch watching a cooking show. you laughed at yourself for thinking it was him who is cooking.

"are you not gonna cook breakfast? or should i?" you asked.

"i'll cook, i got inspired to cook a new menu for today" he smirked. seeing him smirk made you think that whatever that new menu is, he's going to be cooking for your birthday. you love his cooking so much, it's like tasting heaven. before he even touched the chopping board, his phone started buzzing. "oh shit, something came up in the office. i gotta go." he said. you were worried on what could possibly happen so you asked him if you should go with him and he said that there's no need, and left.

you were sitting in the kitchen alone, wondering if this is a part of his plan or this is actually happening. he just left you alone in the house, but you didn't want to be negative so you took a shower and watched a movie.

he still isn't home, he didn't bother to call you as well. you went through your phone and saw that tickets to the theme park are now sold out. you were wondering what is taking him so long and hoping it's not that serious. anyway, you were already bored so you decided to go for a walk outside. you checked your messages to see if jay sent something but there was nothing, it was just silent. you were so worried so you decided to visit him in the office. everyone seems to know you are jay's girl, you got shy when you hear them. you saw jay sitting in his office with a cup of coffee on his hand laughing with his co-workers. a sudden thought suddenly flashed to your mind, he forgot your birthday. to think you were worried of him because he was taking long to come back home, it made your stomach turn. jay noticed you standing in front of his office and approached you "babe, what are you doing here?" smiling. he was about to kiss you but you dodged it and started to walk away. jay was frozen, "d-did she just dodge my kiss?" he got sad when you did that, especially that you didn't even say a word to him which made him more sad but he got worried if something happened. he followed you downstairs but you immediately went to your car and drove back home. he wasn't able to process you dodging his kiss but now this, he was confused and thinking if something bad has happened to you.

"hyung, heeseung and i plan to go to the karaoke, do you want to tag along?" ni-ki, his coworker, sipping his coffee.

"i don't think i can go, i have a problem to deal with" jay sat.

"ni-ki are you dumb, why would you invite him? you know it's y/n's birthday, don't bother his lovey dovey moment." heeseung laughed.

it hit him. YOUR BIRTHDAY. he didn't even say any words to his co-workers and immediately went to his car. he didn't know what to but he just drove around town and bought as much as he could for his gift to you. he started calling you but you ignored him. he was so worried that he might've made you cry and didn't want that so he immediately went home, searching for you in every room but you weren't home. where were you? well, let's go back to where you left jay's company. you did come home, however a person like you can't really stay home when you are feeling like this, you would always walk around the park. so, you did. you were walking around the park, head-empty and just wanted to stay there forever. you hear your phone buzzing and saw it was jay. of course, you ignore him like earlier. you didn't want to hear him talk since you thought it'll just made you feel more down. jay, on the other side, who can't find you anywhere got more worried. he didn't know what to do so he insisted to ask help from your mom.

minutes later, your phone buzzed again. you thought it was jay again but you saw it was your mom.

you didn't expect your mom to buy tickets there. you were a bit happy to know she's coming, it will at least make your day better. you were sitting on a bench, waiting for you mom, unknowingly who is behind you. it was jay, holding a bouquet and a box. you were surprised to see him, you were about to walk away again but he suddenly held your wrist. "y/n, love, my beautiful girlfriend. please don't go. im sorry i forgot your birthday." he hugged you. you were glad that he finally remembered, you didn't want to say anything at that moment and just wanted to hug him. he suddenly made you sit on the bench and opened the box, it's a necklace (an expensive one too). you were mesmerized of the necklace, you looked at him. he puts on the necklace to you, he was looking at you and thought you were the most beautiful girl ever.

"you didn't have to buy this"

"i just bought it, im sorry if it's not much"

"you remembering my birthday is already enough, silly." you giggled and kissed him.

"oh, by the way. your mom helped me find you."

"oh." you sneered at him, thinking he couldn't have done it himself but you find it funny otherwise.

"i love you." he said.

"yeah, let's go home."

"wait what, say it back" he pleaded.

"i love you too."

sim jaehyun, jake (심재윤)

the both of you were eating breakfast and you already planned one thing to do for your birthday, you are still expecting your boyfriend to do something for your birthday though.

"should i go to my hometown? i think it'll be nice to visit there plus my mom expects me to go and celebrate there instead."

"sure, what's the occasion?" he cluelessly asked. you couldn't believe your ears on what he just said, did he actually ask that. you stared at him for a whole minute and raised your eyebrow at him. you didn't want to think negatively so you decided to ask him.

"what day is today?" you asked, staring at him.

"uhh, sunday." he looked on his phone.

that's when you knew, he forgot. you couldn't eat and was shocked at your boyfriend for forgetting it. he isn't really the type to forget birthdays and ESPECIALLY yours or so you thought. you still couldn't believe what just happened and you decided to think that maybe this is a part of his plan, pranking you or something. however, you got sure that he indeed forgot on what happened next after.

"i gotta go shower, love. but before that, you haven't answered my question yet. what's the occasion? is it your mom's birthday? we could buy some gifts at ****."

you were flabbergasted after hearing his words. you finished your food and quickly washed the dishes, you still didn't give him an answer and just ignored him right away. he looked at you confused, he kept asking and you're not replying. he thought that you were probably too tired to reply so he didn't care much about it and just went to shower. while you are sitting on the bed, zoning out because of what just happened. you were sure that he forgot your birthday, you felt down. you still wanted to go to your hometown though but since he forgot your birthday, you thought that your parents will find out and get angry at him. they don't really like jake much, especially your father. your mom doesn't say much about him but you can see that she doesn't like him as well. anyway, the point is you're not going to your hometown so you messaged your mom about it and instead you'll have a reunion with your former co-workers and celebrate it with them. you don't know what to do with jake but you were disappointed and a bit annoyed with him for always remembering others' bday while he doesn't even bother to remember yours.

----- time skip -----

it's already night time and it's time for your dinner with your co-workers. you checked jake, he's already dressed. you didn't even say a word to him and just picked the keys and went out to the car. you sat on the passenger's seat because you knew jake would want to drive and he will keep bothering you if you drive, you didn't want to talk to him so you just immediately sat on the passenger's seat but while waiting for him you moved to the back seat for the reason that you didn't want to face and talk to him, you were still kind of angry and sad.

jake finally went in the car and see you in the back seat, he was so confused. you know, he's the type that wants you beside him all the time and seeing you in the back seat made him so bothered. he tried asking and talking to you but there was no answer, you were just staring at the window the whole time. he was getting sad, he still doesn't have a clue on why you're suddenly acting like this.

----- time skip ------

you two finally arrived at the restaurant and met your co-workers. you were happy to see them for such a long time and you talked with them for hours while jake was sitting beside you, he was getting teary eyed because you kept ignoring him. ni-ki and jungwon started to talk with jake. jake was pouting the whole time and looking like a puppy who just lost his owner.

"y/n sis, mom messaged me and said that you cancelled on going home. you didn't have to cancel it to go and have a reunion here." chaeyoung said.

"oh, mom and the others can wait. it's nice seeing all of you here though."

chaeyoung and ryujin looked at each other after hearing your low and sad tone saying that sentence. they realized that jake and you haven't even said a single word to each other since earlier.

"did the two of you fight?" ryujin asked loudly.

everyone looked at ryujin and gave her a confused look then they looked at the both you and jake. you didn't even look at jake and just laughed. "ryu, what do you mean. we're fine." you gave her a fake smile, which actually creeped sunoo and the others. sunoo whispered to chaeyoung "they're definitely not fine."

"i gotta go to the bathroom, don't eat dessert without me." you said.

once you went to the bathroom, they all looked at jake and asked "seriously, are the two of you really fine?" jake didn't know what to answer because he doesn't know either. he was feeling so many emotions all at once, he didn't answer them and just shrugged.

"you both doesn't seem fine, you should go and talk to her." chaeyoung exclaimed.

jake decided to do that and talk to you, he wants to know as well on why have you been ignoring him since earlier. he looks like he was about to cry while walking to the restroom waiting for you to come out. his phone buzzed.

"HOLY SHIT. FUCK. FUCK. FUCK." he panicked when he saw his notification. he felt ashamed for not remembering your birthday. he ran back to everyone, at the table. "guys, can you do me a favor?"

back to you, at the bathroom. you were sitting at the toilet, zoning out and tears were forming. it wasn't much tears but you were crying already. you didn't know what to do with your boyfriend, negative thoughts were swarming in your head. you thought you were taking too long in the restroom so you washed your hands and went back to the table. to your surprise, no one was in the restaurant anymore. the lights also went off, you got scared because everyone left you and you thought you got locked in.

you went to the main door and you saw a light forming from a distance away, your phone was about to die so you didn't bother turning on the flashlight this time. you were literally touching everywhere lol. anyway, a small light suddenly is closing up to you. you were so scared, you thought it was a ghost or something. then, suddenly all the lights opened and "SURPRISEEEEEEE!!" you almost had a heart attack. jake was in front of you holding a cake with lit candles "happy birthday, my pretty girl." everyone started singing and you couldn't help but cry. your boyfriend finally remembered. he kissed you and asked "so, what's your wish?".

"uh, for my boyfriend not to forget my birthday again." you shrugged.

he laughed "i love my girlfriend so much." and kissed you. "i love you too."

park sunghoon (박성훈)

your boyfriend is a skater and you work part-time as a barista but today it's your day off which is good because you know... it's your birthday. sunghoon though, is busy preparing for his ice skating competition. you wondered how the two of you will celebrate your birthday when he's this busy but you know sunghoon, he always have a plan when it comes to your birthday.

you woke up early in the morning and you see your boyfriend has already left. he ordered you breakfast before leaving and he also left a note. "sorry, i couldn't join you for breakfast. hope you enjoy what i ordered." you thought it was sweet of him to do so. however, you were feeling lonely for the past months. he has been busy than ever preparing for his competition. you both barely talk these past months, which made u feel lonely. with him busy, you weren't really expecting for the both of you to celebrate your day. despite him being busy, you waited for his message to greet you a happy birthday but nothing happened. you jokingly said "he's way too busy that he probably forgot about it." and laughed.

hours later, you finally saw sunghoon text you.

did he literally just forgot your birthday? your jaw dropped when he asked you that. you weren't even sad at all. well, you understood how busy he has been but there was just no way he just forgot about your bday.

your boyfriend got home. you were playing some games on your phone and he tried to hug you but you rolled over the couch. he laughed and thought you just fell, he decided to hug you again but you walked away.

"what?" he raised his eyebrow at you. he decided to hug you again but this time you ran and went straight to the bedroom. he was so flabbergasted when you did that. he was like "what the fuck?". you on the other hand was mad at him. he still didn't greet you so you felt that way. anyway, with what just happened. he sat down on the couch and zoned out.....

you were so bored, you decided to go out and go to a cinema. you don't really care if sunghoon is going to come with you or not but either way you're going. sunghoon saw you all dressed up and asked you "oh hey love, where are you going?". you straight up ignored him and closed the door loudly. he was so fucking confused, and was kind of annoyed with you. without hesitation, when you left he immediately worn some proper t-shirt and his shoes. he ran so fast to catch up on you. thank god, you haven't started the car yet. you were petting some cat that you saw. you noticed your boyfriend followed you so you went to the car, he then went in too.

"im driving."

you started driving without saying a word to him.

"oh, okay. you drive, i guess."

when you arrived at the cinema, you quickly lined up to get some tickets. sunghoon was surprised that you wanted to go to the cinema but just went along with it, he bought food for the both you to eat. of course, you weren't that awful so you also bought him ticket and gave it to him, still without saying a thing. hoon just basically followed you inside.

you enjoyed the movie, sunghoon kinda did as well but he misses you. like talking to you. he tried talking to you as well in the cinema but of course you still didn't reply. you badly wanted sunghoon to remember the occasion to himself so you stayed strong and kept ignoring him lol.

you drove around the town and went in some shops to buy things or foods. still not talking to sunghoon. your boyfriend got tired and when it was just the two of you alone, he had enough and said loudly "y/n, what the fuck do you want? why are you not talking to me? why do you kept ignoring me? im getting tired already. i tried talking to you a couple of times today but what the fuck. baby, if i did something wrong, please tell me. you know me, i care about u so much but fucking please tell me what's happening?" you didn't even looked at him as you went inside the car, ignoring him again.

"y/n, you know what. im done. if you're not gonna talk to me for the whole day, okay fine. im gonna go home but just know this, im fucking worried about you but you wont even let me talk to you." he left and went to get a taxi.

you sat alone in the car, crying. you were hoping for him to remember such a special day and greet you, that's what you only wanted. you weren't mad at him anymore instead you were sad, crying. you thought that there's a possibility that he doesn't care for you anymore. you though that maybe you have gone too far for not talking to him. you weren't in the mood to do anything, anymore but you didn't want to go home since sunghoon went home. you didn't want to face him yet after what just happened. you thought that you'll just let the day pass and talk to him tomorrow so you went to the nearest hotel to stay.

as for sunghoon, he was waiting for you to come home. he thought that he let his emotions control him that he shouted at you earlier. he was worriedly thinking on where have you gone off to. he was worried that he made you cry because of earlier.

it was already night time and hoon still doesn't have a clue on why you ignored him the whole day. a realization hit him on what day it is today. he checked the calendar and everything. it's your birthday. okay, you maybe wondering on how did he realized. he remembered the cinema that the both of you went to, it was titled "BD". he remembered what happened on the movie, a birthday basically. he cried a little because of the fact he shouted at you earlier when he was the one who's at fault for not remembering his dearest girlfriend's bday.

he didn't bother to buy you gifts or what but he went looking for you everywhere. he remembered you guys are both in 'life 360' and he saw where you are. he immediately went to the hotel and asked the staff on what room you're staying in. he knocked.

"love, it's me."

you were just lying down the bed and when you heard his voice, it sent a chill down your spine. you were surprised and confused on why he's there. you opened the door and he suddenly hugged you tightly.

"love, im really really really really sorry for forgetting your birthday. im also sorry for lashing out on you earlier. im so sorry love. i was so busy preparing for the competition that i completely forgot about your bday. im really sorry, y/n." he cried.

you wiped his tears and said "im sorry too, i shouldn't have ignored you the whole day and i should've just told you what's going on. hoonie im sorry."

"i love it when you call me that." he smirked and laughed.

"hoon." you stared at him for suddenly joking around.

"okay, i know i know. sorry. let's go inside first. wouldn't want people seeing us being dramatic. im sorry i didnt bring any gifts with me."

"honestly, i don't care if whether you have gifts or not. as long as you remember my silly birthday. i know, i don't say these often but im lucky to have a boyfriend like you."

"y/n, im more luckier having a dramatic girlfriend like you." he laughed.

"i love you so much that the whole universe can't even compete."

"baby, i love you sooo much too."

Cassie hated courgette but loved cucumber. She once mixed them up and cried for three hours straight when she was three. Helena tried to explain that she could just… not eat them. Cassie didn’t listen she ate them anyways. And was absolutely devastated about it

janet sleeptalks. Once she did it when Helena had just got back from a late shift at the museum (which needed Wonder Woman intervention bc the haunted statues came to life) (average Helena sandsmark experience) and Helena almost had a heart attack

DAILY BRAINROT

The school year is only 3 weeks away now, so I've been thinking about that a lot and consequently all the AUs that are piling up in my WIPs folder. I can practically feel time slipping through my fingers.

ANYWAY, here are some back to school vibes, sponsored by the horrible mess I made moving into fall housing. 👍

Wind - He started out organized, and then halfway through packing his stuff he just panicked and starting shoving it into the nearest container. He will be suffering for the first month until it's all sorted out.

Wild - Packs like he plays Tetris. Somehow knows exactly where everything is, even though he never follows any known organization system when packing or unpacking. He's the second one done.

Warriors - Double checks everything while packing, then double checks everything while unpacking. He's got a list, and heaven forbid if he forgot to put anything on it because he is not remembering without the list.

Twilight - Spends so much time worrying over helping everyone else get packed and unpacked that he almost doesn't leave time to do his own stuff. It's a recurring issue.

Legend - He's got the whole thing figured out and always finishes up first. Coordinates with Ravio so that they don't have duplicate microwaves or electric kettles.

Hyrule - He just brings everything he owns with him. Which is... not a lot. His bedroom perpetually looks half-empty because of it, and anything he doesn't already have he just picks up from the campus thrift store. Or the dumpsters. But the point is that it's free and it works.

Sky - Coordinates with Sun, and they double-check each other's stuff while packing. It's horribly sweet. Despite all the help moving heavy things (and things in general), he is always tired and in pain at the end. A recovery day is not an option.

Four - He's very organized and uses a color coding system and itemized lists. The time it takes to eat lunch and take a quick nap have been accounted for. This is why he doesn't finish first, but at least he's not grumpy at the end.

Time - Is a grown man who has graduated from college and thus doesn't have to move back to the school. He is busy enjoying the day with his wife and ignoring the fact that he's going to have to suffer through grading philosophy essays for 100-level classes yet again.

UNEXPECTED CIRCUMSTANCES 2 - HBCU!SHURI X READER

prompt: a leak in your residence hall calls for unexpected pairings…

contains: shuri x fem!reader, cursing

disclaimers - this is not my idea!! all credits to @vargskelegore for hbcu shuri. it is an amazing idea. however, the storyline is mine. also, i would prefer if only black people read this story, simply because it is a reader insert specifically for us. thank you <3

also, this is a continuous storyline although it’ll consist of one-shots. it will have the same characters and plot overall. you can see all the parts so far on my master list!

this is the last part of the roommate dorms storyline but the hbcu storyline with the same characters and background will still go on! also i’d like to add my requests are open and feel free to drop something in there!

this is not proofread because a sister is TIREDDDD and stressed out…just comment if there are errors or some weird bs i forgot to take out 😭

“Jesus. I didn’t know the campus even had dorms this big,” You spoke in awe, entering Shuri’s dorm.

It looked something like you thought it would. Most of it was decorated like a bedroom that would be in a palace, but with a touch of African-American culture. You couldn’t help but smile when you saw a few pictures of music artists that you had introduced to Shuri hung up in her room.

A breathy chuckle came from Shuri’s lips as she dropped her keys onto the table next to the door. She laughed again when she heard you gasp after your eyes locked with the view Shuri got every night from her balcony. You could see the beautifully lit up city of Atlanta through the glass.

Once your brain had fully processed the room, you looked to Shuri who had moved up to be alongside you. You quirked an eyebrow. “What happened to being treated like a normal student?”

She tilted her head at you with a small grin playing at her lips. “I cannot decline every perk.”

“Fair.”

Shuri walked past you, going towards her dresser and picking out clothes. Once she did so, she turned to you. “You can unpack your stuff while I shower. I can take the couch.”

She had already began to walk towards the restroom, but you quickly grabbed her bicep to stop her. “Uh, no. I’m not about to make you sleep on the couch in your own dorm. I’m fine on the couch.”

“And I’m not going to make my guest sleep on the couch,” She quipped, her tone less playful than earlier.

“Shuri, it’s fine. I’m serious,” You reassured her. “I love couches. I usually fall asleep on them, anyways. You’d be doing me a favor.”

“(Name), you-”

“I don’t care,” You interrupted her before she could even form a proper sentence. “You take the bed, and if you try to take the couch, I’ll sleep on the floor to make you feel worse.”

You removed your hand from Shuri’s bicep after speaking, waiting to see what she’d say.

Shuri pointed a finger at you, narrowing her eyes and grinning in defeat. “Oh, you’re good. You are good.”

You shrugged innocently. “I know.”

Once Shuri had entered the bathroom and locked it, you took the chance to look around the room. Not in a creepy way, but you were a bit curious to see what things she had used to set up her room.

There were a few things in Shuri’s room that were no doubt put there to remind her of her home in Wakanda. You recognized a few of these things to be vibranium which slightly caught you off guard because of the fact that she had them out in the open like that.

On one of the sides of her bed, she had a few records laid messily on it. A lot of it was music that you had recommended to her or music she had listened to when you two would share airpods in class.

After looking around a bit, you began to set up your blanket and pillow on the oddly big couch. Once you had finished that, you pulled out a random pair of shorts and a baggy shirt from your bag.

Shuri came out of the bathroom barely two minutes later, and to say that you were left speechless would’ve been an understatement.

She wore a black tank top with blue and green plaid pajama pants that drove you crazy. The wet curls that covered the top of her face was just the icing on her cake.

You couldn’t tell if Shuri knew that you had been staring at her for a while when her gaze finally locked with yours. You had a small feeling that she felt your eyes burning into her body judging by the smug grin she held on her face.

You were first to break the silence. “I’m…I’m gonna go shower now.”

You could honestly get used to this.

She had the type of bathroom the average college student would dream of. Although it was connected, presumably with the dorm next to hers, it was still very spacious and made you feel more refreshed than you’ve felt in a while.

Needless to say, it was definitely a step-up from the bathroom you used in your hall.

When you exited the bathroom and entered the bedroom, you were a bit surprised to see Shuri awake. You had been in there for a while.

“Oh, you’re awake?”

“Yeah, I wanted to wait on you,” Shuri informed, leaning onto her headboard.

“I’m sorry I kept you waiting, then,” You apologized as you made your way over to the couch to put your towel next to your suitcase. “Long dance practices usually call for longer showers.”

“It’s fine,” Shuri reassured her, waving a dismissive hand. “I’ve been listening to music.”

You paused for a second, letting the music flow through your ears. “Tiwa Savage?”

“You know your Afro-beats,” She observed, a proud beam on her face.

“Well, duh,” You mirrored her expression. It quickly faded when you looked over at the couch and realized everything you had used to set up a bed was gone. You knew it was Shuri’s doing, seeing as she was the only other person in the room. When you looked back over to you, the beam on her face soon became one of innocence with a hint of guilt under it.

“Shuri…”

“Oops,” She shrugged her shoulders. “I must have misplaced your stuff while tidying my room. “Guess you have no choice but to take the bed.”

You held up a finger at Shuri, doing the same thing she had done before she went to shower. “Oh, you’re good.”

She picked up on your reference. “I know.”

On the opposite side of the bed, your bonnet was laid out on the nightstand. You looked to your side to meet Shuri’s eyes. “You sure this is okay?”

Of course,” She confirmed. “As long as you don’t move too much in your sleep.”

You moved your head side to side in response, lifting up the blankets on her bed to get underneath them. “Oh, I would never. I don’t play about that.”

You slipped into the bed with ease, knowing that it hadn’t entirely sunk in that you’d be sharing a bed with the princess of Wakanda.

It didn’t help that she looked incredibly attractive at the moment. At least, more than usual.

You flipped off the lamp on your side and grabbed your bonnet, putting it on as you got comfortable. You wanted the night to last longer, considering the fact that your dorm would likely become safe to use again in less than a week, but you were exhausted, and you were sore.

Not to mention, your Tylenol was something that you left in your dorm so you were definitely eager to rest and put the pain on pause.

You had decided to sleep on the side that wasn’t facing Shuri, not because you didn’t wanna see her, but because you were sure you’d start staring like a creep.

It did catch you off guard when you felt a hand drawing circles on your back. It startled you at first, but soon became a soothing touch that you melted into.

Shuri brought her voice to a whisper. “Goodnight, (name).”

“Goodnight,” You muttered, nearly half-asleep. “And Shuri?”

“Hmm?”

“Will I ever be getting my blanket back?”

You could hear her laugh sleepily. “Yeah. You will.”
