the past few days have been Not Fun on the chronic pain department but!!!! I got!!!! to see a local production of Rocky Horror Show with a friend!!!! and it was SOSOSOSO GOOD!!!! the translation to spanish was GREAT an the actors were so amazing, and the costumes, and the music like WOAH

and i knew there was audience participation but i didn't know how much????? we made BUBBLES TWICE and we put on the silly hat and had to activate the neon stick and it was so cool :DDDD

#rocky horror show #oh and we had to yell idiota and zorra to the main characters xd #gosh the guy who played frank-n-furter was so good like #sir???? you're amazing?????#and the actress who played janet was so good too #and the background dancers DAMN #gah i wish i could listen to a recording of the show #i loved frank-n-furter's voice #and janets #the bubbles are not soap bubbles btw #they are glue bubbles #the kind we used to play with as kids #they are made of industrial glue lmao #or at least the ones i played with as a kid were #(we also used soap bubbles but yk)#anyways #i adored the production

I love Tumblr because nothing matters here truly. There are no influencers. Having followers doesn’t mean anything. It’s just a site where people post their sporadic thoughts and rb pretty pictures. Anyone who thinks any of this matters is woefully missing the point

#I joined tumblr for the aesthetics and now I’m here bc it’s the most low pressure social media to be on #Instagram is ppl’s highlight reel but Tumblr is where u see their pure thoughts unobstructed and I adore that #It’s very nice to have people to relate to and is def the main appeal to me but I don’t think there’s much more to it than that genuinely #Monetization on tumblr isn’t a thing and probably won’t be so it feels stupid to put more stake than necessary in it. Like you’re in the #Trenches over tumblr of all things. Embarrassing #I know chronically online people exist bc I have seen them in my or somebody else’s inbox but imagine waking up at 70 one day and the #Realization hitting u like a freight time that u wasted all ur time thinking tumblr. TUMBLR. This dying website. Has enough weight for u to #be sending anon hate or reviewing ppl’s blogs like they’re some kind of product. Brother this is licherally tumblr #I choose to laugh at this behavior than take it seriously bc absolutely no one is driving me crazy on my OWN blog. one interesting aspect of percy and rachel's relationship that isn't often highlighted is how empathetic percy must have been toward rachel about seeing through the mist as a small child. because percy was the kid who saw a man with one eye stalking him at the local playground. the kid who saw a horse with wings resting atop the roof of a nearby building. the kid who was nearly killed by a fury disguised as his algebra teacher. and the kid who understood what if felt like to distrust the world around him, to be reprimanded for falling victim to the fear that accompanied it. if it was anything that percy offered rachel. it was the grace of understanding a uniquely mortal experience.
