Simon "Ghost" Riley x fem! Reader
summary: Simon comes home from another exhausting mission and you decide to make him forget about his work and just let himself relax.
warning: smut (MDNI! 18+), thigh riding, oral (m! receiving), breeding kink
.・:*:・゚’✫,’✫’゚・:*:・˙
It's been a few months since you have seen Simon (and had sex with). And today is finally the day. This night Simon is gonna return home back to you. So you woke up extra early to clean the house and do a little shopping.
You just got done with cleaning the house and showering and right now you're cooking Simon a meal. And you couldn't help but feel a little too excited to see Simon. And yes of course he is your boyfriend and it would be a little confusing if you hadn't had missed him. But you missed the feeling of him filling you with his cum. You missed how gentle he was with you but also how he could be a little mean. For example not letting you finish and tease you before he lets you finish on his cock. You just miss your sweet and huge boyfriend.
You were too deep in your thoughts that you didn't hear the door open, revealing your handsome boyfriend.
"Hello my beautiful girl." you hear the so familiar voice call out from behind you. And you could swear you were about to tear up. You turn around let the spatula fall from your hand and straight up run into his arms. You don't care about the cooking anymore. You could order take outs if the food burns off. Right now, you just want to feel your boyfriends presence and his huge and inked tattooed arms around your body. "oh baby. I missed you so so much" Simon adds. And right after this sentence you feel yourself tearing up. Simon kisses the side of your head and tightens the grip around you. He inhales your scent and oh god... how much he missed you.
"Welcome home Baby" you finally say. Simon lets out a little chuckle and changes the position so that you're facing him. "Dinner is almost ready." you say and lead him to the table, serving a homemade dinner just for him. He didn't actually mentioned it but he was about to tear up a beat when you told him you made him dinner. I mean he hadn't had those since childhood. And he's definitely gonna show you how much he appreciates this gesture of you.
------------
After dinner and a little bit of catching up, you guys washed the dishes together and right now you're sitting in each others arms, watching a boring movie. The little devil you are, you get a random and devilish idea. I mean it's been so long since you both had someone touch you. And you bet Simon has missed the intimacy too.
Without thinking twice you get up from where you were lying and positioned yourself on one of his legs. Simon was a little confused and doesn't know what you're trying to do. But as soon as you put your hands under his shirt, feeling his hard and sexy abs, and start riding his leg, his confused face immediatly into a smirk. "So you also missed the sex, huh?" he asks a rhetorical question. The answer is obvious. You missed the Sex as much as you missed him. "You're no good for me, but baby I want you." you say as you lean down and start kissing him passionately.
Your motion starts speeding up and you feel his cock hardening. The kiss gets sloppy and right now you're cursing at whoever invented clothes. Because you can feel yourself getting wet through your panties.
Simon switches the position in a heartbeat and now you're caged between his arms. "Simon..." you mumble in between the sloppy kiss. His leg circling around your heating spot. "Yes love? What do you want?" he asks a question but the answer is more than obvious. You need him to fuck you. senselessly.
"Please Simon. I need you. I need you to fuck me and don't hold back." you say. In those months, you've had wild imaginations with Simon but your hand was never a help to you.
"Get on your knees first. You gotta earn in baby." he responds, his voice dark and filled with lust. And you don't waste any time. You free yourself and get on your knees. As you pull his joggers and boxers down, his already hard cock springs free. You look up at him and start working your mouth down his length. And seeing his mouth open slightly approves your work. You start sucking him off until he finishes in your mouth. And you shamelessly swallow every single drop of him while holding deep eye contact.
"Now that's a good girl. Let me fulfill all your nasty imaginations you saved in your little pretty and smart head of yours" and with that being said, he pulled you panties down and started adjusting you with his fingers first. But you are being impatient and let your hand fall on his back, leaving a little scratch. "Simon please...I can't anymore" you moan. Simon laughs at you being so desperate. "Patience baby."
After adjusting you with his large fingers, he starts slipping his cock into your tight cunt. "OH god..." you moan out. You will never get used to his cock being that's huge. And he is only halfway inside of your needs cunt. "how much I missed your tight pussy. God, those months without you were horror. I never want to go a day without your pussy around my cock, baby." he starts moving in and out of you. You feel a little tear leave you left eye due to the pleasure. The sound of the TV is quiet compared to the noises your body does when Simon's body hits yours. And he goes from gentle and slow to fast and mean. "Such a good girl for me. Taking me so good. Fuck, makes me wanna finish inside of you..." he groans as his hands hand move around your body and up to your tits. "Please do Simon. Fill me up." you say earning a small chuckle out of Simon. "I'm gonna cum" he says and you feel yourself on the edge too. "C'mon baby. Cum with me together." he says and you do as he told you. You both cum at the same time. As Simon pulls out of you, he uses his fingers to push the leaking juice back inside of you. "Tomorrow morning, you're gonna get your round 2 baby" Simon exhaustingly says as he picks you up and move to the bathroom, to clean you and himself.
Oh how much you missed these moments with him...

Inside Out 2 is More Emotional and More Impactful
Gonna be honest, I wasn't PUMPED for Inside Out 2. I wasn't AGAINST seeing it and it WAS a sequel I was sure could work. As we grow up, are emotions become more complex as new challenges arrive in life as WE grow up. Yeah, the Puberty Alarm could have started and ended as a gag that didn't NEED to go anywhere, but it would have been welcomed if it did. So I could tell that it would have worked...but given the rough year Disney had in 2023 and how they continue to make weird decisions like this?
Yeah, it didn't really encourage me to be on the movie's good side. But my mom wanted to see it and I couldn't say no because it's been a while since WE'VE seen a movie together. So we went out, watched it, and...my goodness gracious, do I LOVE this movie.
There ARE some sequel rehashing, which really is what stops this movie from being a truly great sequel. Emotions are once again shoved out of headquarters while ones people perceive as "bad" are struggling to control Riley and give her the best possible life. HOWEVER, they DO mix things up.
Firstly, the humor feels stronger than the first. The banter with the Emotions are as great as ever, with the newcomers adding some great jokes and dynamics. It cracked me up with how much Fear thirsted over Anxiety, which makes way too much sense. And there's still all the jokes about the mindscape and all that happens when a teen hits puberty. The scene in Riley's Secrets Vault is filled with jokes that cracked me up to no end, with these two 2D characters having the best jokes in the entire movie. I really wish they were in it more.
As for the animation, it, as always, improved from the last film. Pixar once more proves that they can top themselves with more details, fluidity, expressions, and even experimentation. Like I said, there's this 2D character, and they come with 2D props that the 3D characters interact with. And I love how cartoonish the Emotions look or move, creating great juxtaposition with the more realistic yet semi-stylized world Riley lives in. It's part of what I loved about the first movie, and it feels stronger here.
And while there ARE some rehashes, the movie carries on some things from the last in a GOOD way. Joy remembers her lesson about how there's no bad emotions, and tries to greet the newcomers with open arms and optimism. Only to be met with Anxiety, who brilliantly acts as a negative mirror to Joy and how she acted in the last film. Anxiety wants to help Riley HER way, taking charge and pushing away or neglecting other emotions to make Riley's life fit her idea of "better." It shows what COULD have happened if Joy never learned the importance of Sadness or the others, which is actually a smart way to go about these characters. And, yeah, there is ANOTHER rehash with Joy doing something in the last movie to learn the big lesson, but it IS necessary for her to learn how to properly confront, and even help, Anxiety.
And then we get to that ONE scene. You'll know it when you see it. It's a scene where it shows what happens when we let Anxiety consume us. A scene...that makes me want to go back to this for a second:
When I was watching that scene, it made me felt seen, almost like the movie was talking directly at ME. Because I've experienced the EXACT emotions that THAT scene conveys. Hell, I've experienced them recently, as I cried at work THREE times because anxiety took over for too long. Others might have had an experience like that, but it's something I'VE felt and I don't know if it's exactly common enough for EVERYONE to experience. That's what you take away when you ignore a director's catharsis for the sake of making a fifth fucking TOY STORY!
You miss reaching out to people who experienced certain things in certain ways and giving something to point to when someone asks "What's wrong?" Another example is Ratatouille, which perfectly captures the love of creation and art, all through a rat that controls a human as a puppet. It enacts an experience or emotions that a specific kind of people can appreciate, just through a story that's fun and enjoyable through all. Turning Red is about a teen trying to stand up to her mom, but that teen also turns into a giant red panda. Luca is about a boy discovering himself during a summer, but through two fish-boys who just want to buy a vespa. And Inside Out 2 is about how our own self-perception can destroy us and that change is good, but it uses silly emotions going on an adventure in the brain.
Inside Out 2 is GREAT. I'm not even going to dignify the question of whether or not it's better than the first one with a response. I'll just say that it improves on a lot of things despite it still redoing SOME aspects. But with its strong themes and fun new characters, it leads to a sequel more emotional and more impactful. Watch it if you haven't (though, box office numbers suggest you already HAVE), because it'll definitely make you feel things.

Incoming ramble about how much I want an Inside Out show! I love Inside Out sm :( (Also, it's been a long time since I've watched Inside Out 1, so I MIGHT get a few facts wrong about that)
Starting off strong, an Inside Out show could talk about serious mental health topics. Like- the movies already did! In the first movie, they showed Riley running away because she was insanely homesick and hated the changes. In the second, they introduced Anxiety and how showed how anxiety can affect you. If they made a show, they could bring awareness to other mental health topics (Ex: PPD, IED, MDD, so on so forth). They could also show how differently HQ and emotions work in people with Autism, ADHD and the like! (The way I imagine the headspaces is very different than what we see for Riley or the other people in Inside Out. The HQs are built very different, and it's very "messy" overall. The Mind is even more scattered, very different than say Riley's or her parents. Idk, I just think it would be a neat concept!)
Another thing they could show us is where the other Emotions come from! Because we saw Nostalgia constantly appearing through a door to say something silly, and we know the other Emotions had to come from somewhere. (Personally, I like to think there's this place called Conscious City that comes from far below the pool of Riley's sense of Self.) And maybe it could explain why the Core Emotions basically spawned out of nowhere (we see this with Joy in the first movie), while the newer emotions "moved in" (see Anxiety in the second). And! They could explain why there are more specific emotions, since anxiety and embarrassment usually stem from fear in some way or another.
I just think it would be neat to see what the Emotions could get up to! I'd love to see a day off or something, where Riley is asleep (actual sleep, put in for surgery, whatever) or the Emotions aren't needed for some reason, where they all just go out and do their own thing together. Like- outside of HQ. Going with the idea of Conscious City, I'd kill to see them all just going into town and hanging out! They spend most of their time in HQ, so seeing the City would be a huge break for them. They all just hang out in the city, goof around, learn about the emotions that have yet to join HQ, blah blah blah. I've also thought up about three episodes I'd find silly :3 1) An episode focused around Fear, where he's terrified of everything because he thinks everyone's out to get him. They're all being avoidant, secretive, and whispering behind his back. By the end of the episode, he's convinced they're about to pounce- but surprise! Joy had planned a surprise birthday party for him! 2) An episode where it's just dress up. They all go into the city and play around with outfits and whatnot :) 3) A more horror-based episode; The Emotions decide to go out for the day. Joy gets a little rambunctious and explorative, and they all end up in a bog-like area. They go missing one by one. Something is taking them. In the end, they all get out and escape, but they never quite see what was attacking them. (I will admit, the way I imagined this is kind of based off Fonz Pond by ICP LMAO)
But overall, idk, I just think an Inside Out show would be real fun. Just a lot of silly things, while also tackling more heavy topics. I might make a few comics for myself about it. Maybe

Alright so I watched Inside Out 2 a couple days ago, and I'm sure other people already have talked about everything possible, but I still feel like I need to rant about my thoughts so I'm gonna do that here.
SPOILERS BELOW, PLEASE SKIP THIS POST IF YOU HAVE NOT WATCHED THE MOVIE AND DON'T WANT TO BE SPOILED
The first thing I wanna talk about is how insanely accurate all the emotions were portrayed. The first movie already showed the emotions in a simple but also incredibly accurate way, so much so that I could understand it as a kid who hadn't even turned ten when the first movie came out. But this movie took that portrayal and turned it up to eleven. I feel like if I were still nine years old and I watched this movie, it would perfectly help me understand the concepts of anxiety, envy, embarrassment and even ennui in a way that I don't think any other movie could.
Being even more specific, the panic attack was an incredibly realistic portrayal too. I've been lucky enough not to have experienced a full-on panic attack myself, but I've heard from people close to me that also watched the movie that it's even their favorite part of the movie for how good it really is. Plus, the way Riley grounds herself, and the way the movie brings attention to it is really amazing to see. First she slows her breathing as the emotions all hug her new sense of self, and then the immediate next thing that she does is focus on the feel of the bench on her hand, the sounds of the hockey game around her, and what she can see, and it works. Admittedly, this part I probably wouldn't have understood as a kid, but I definitely understand it now, and it's beautiful.
This is also a great movie to get across the concept of peer pressure, and how subtle it can be. Val's two friends in the hallway are a great example. The way they talk to Riley about Coach's red notebook puts the idea into her head that the notebook is the most important thing determining whether or not she'll become a Firehawk. This idea gets to her so much that she sneaks into Coach's office at night to find her name in the notebook, something that she likely never would have done had Val's two friends not talked about the notebook that way. Similarly, in the scene where Riley and the Firehawks are hanging out together and talking about bands, one of those same friends asks Riley who her favorite band is, and when she says Get Up and Glow, this friend of Val's pressures Riley into lying and being sarcastic about loving her favorite band, all because she wants to fit in with the Firehawks. Val's friends may not even realize they're pressuring her, but it's still enough to get Riley to try and change everything about herself just to become friends with the Firehawks.
Aside from all of those concepts, though, there were also so many small details and easter eggs that I wanna rant about. I loved how almost all of the memories at the start of the movie were mixed between the core 5 emotions, showing that they worked together so well as a team. I freaked out when I saw Joy's origami Bing Bong on her shelf by her bed. I loved the details about Bloofy breaking the fourth wall not being understandable to anybody else, and how Lance Slashblade moves like a videogame character getting caught on the collision of a map. I loved that the officer's hat in the vault scene had "My Hat" written on it to call back to the two Subconscious guards from the first movie.
I guess my main point is that I believe this movie is just as good as the first Inside Out, and perfectly captures the message it wants to give to people. I had so many concerns that it would be a disappointing sequel, and I was so pleasantly surprised once I actually watched it. You don't have to agree with me, of course; that's only natural for some people not to agree on things. But I do hope that if you took the time to read everything in this monster of a post, that you enjoyed my ramblings, and that maybe it even resonated with you.
#inside out#inside out 2#inside out joy#inside out sadness#inside out fear#inside out anger#inside out disgust#inside out anxiety#inside out envy#inside out embarrassment#inside out ennui#inside out fandom#pixar#I will be treasuring this movie just as much as I treasure the first one#seriously the best movie I've seen in a long while#I hope that if they make a third one it lives up to the first two#Chimony'sNerdThings

I JUST FINISHED LIFE IS STRANGE TRUE COLORS AND OH MY GOD I HAVE SO MANY THOUGHTS
Tw: Life Is Strange true colors spoilers
Tw: Yap alert
First of all I started playing this a few months ago and I fell in love with the game. I finished the first 2 chapters but literally played the rest today because I was tired with school and stuff and I kinda forgot about it and started watching a ton of shows.
So first episode I literally sat and listened to the entirety of Scott Street (Like 5 times) I fell in love with the town. The record store was awesome I love it so much.
Colorado is an amazing state and this game gave me a lot of nostalgia from the town to the mountains.
The Black Lantern was amazing. I'd love to have a place like that like I loved the whole set up and I have like ideas of how to make it like my dream place or something idk. Like instead of a bar it would be like a cozy cafe and in like the other room it would be a library and like queer flags everywhere. And like I'd keep the arcade things there and I'd make them free to play. Then there would be like music in the background and people could always like reccomend music and I'd add it to queue and it would just be an awesome hang spot. Then the middle floor where Alex's home is already has an awesome set up like I love it and I'd add all kinds of decorations and add like my favorite artists albums to the record stand so I can just blast them forever AND THE ROOF BALCONY OH MY GOD ID KEEP IT BASICALLY THE SAME BECAUSE WHO DOESNT LOVE A FLOWER GARDEN ON YOUR VERY OWN ROOF. Like I'm literally gonna make a whole layout of it because why not just cuz I'm bored.
Anywho. I WAS NOT EXPECTING GABE TO DIE THAT WAS SUCH A SHOCK LIKE WHAT I THOUGHT HE WAS A MAIN CHARACTER
Also I love Ryan and Stephs dynamic so much like the lesbian and her himbo. (I chose the adventure with steph ending and I saw Ryan standing alone and I had so many regrets because that's Stephs himbo so now he just lost his best friend, dad, and crush 😭 but like I like the idea that Steph and Alex got to tour the world together cuz I feel like that's what's best for them (if it were me I would've stayed and renovated the black lantern)
Also I went back in the game and now I'm listening to Scott Street on life is strange on repeat so when I look up from my phone it's just life is strange and scott street because phoebe bridgers ❤️
Also on tiktok I got a few spoilers about Jed being a bad guy BUT I WASNT EXPECTING HIM TO FUCKING SHOOT HER SO SHE'D FALL LIKE A MILLION FOOT DROP.
Also I may have not forgiven him (He literally killed Alex's dad and brother and like 6 other people and tried to kill alex)
Also everyone believed me except elanor (I told Riley she had alzhiemers so she ended up having to stay here (sorry) and she said that Alex was crazy and needs help 😭)
About to add stephs wavelengths onto this let me just play it first >:) -10:23pm
I'm so getting steph fired I suck at this
I just took all the pride decor down :( (it's already 11:51pm plz help). "People are always afraid to take the ones chloe made," Chloe? CHLOE PRICE YIPPEE!!! CHLOES VOICE OMG OMG OMG HI!!!! What the hell am I doing here? LIFE IS STRANGE TRUE COLORS ALEX CHEN SINGING CREEP REFRENCE???
😭😭😭 She was having storm flashbacks on October 11th that's why she was being so avoident.
The flashback with Rachel and Chloe was priceless chloe would say that
I like how Steph and Mikey talked on that day and got through the day.
She's so me for having a million different things at her desk to keep her occupied
I love how it ended with the start of the actual game.
Also I love how all 3 dlcs had a scavenger hunt
Yippeee

How did you learn of agere? (Gen curious)
(Warning! Talk of AB/DL which agere is NOT!)
It started with a video. One of a person named Riley I believe? Who said they were a non-sexual adult baby. And, at the time, I think, just like a lot of regressors who didn't know what that was, i was like, "Oh! So... guess I'm a not sexual adult baby! Though, I actually feel like a kid—And I can't twll anyone ever because they'd be disgusted!"
Keep in mind I've been involuntarily regressing for quite a while now! I'd cry in my bed and feel so... small, and have no idea why. I loved going to my little cousins birthday parties to see the fun toys they got, and I'd watch shows for kids in secret.
WELLL fast forward to roblox, where I met my platonic spouse! And, I heard about agere in this group, after talking to them (he knew what agere is, or atleast had a loose idea.) I even played a few agere games!
And, well. It just went from there!
I started looking it up, watched tiktok compilations of it. And I finally, FINALLY realized there's nothing wrong with me.
I'm healing.
ANNDD that's how I got here! ^^

Welcome to Camp Kill Batman
When the first batch of recruits come, it’s going to rain any minute. The skies are black, the humidity is unbearable, and the jungle is silent.
It’s no wonder the Knight’s nowhere in sight when the APC pulls into the compound.
Antoine’s the one who went to collect them. He won’t scare them, and he’s not busy; Frank, the other Good Choice, had had a breakthrough on some drone thing and had left firm instructions that unless the compound was actively going to self-destruct in two minutes, Do Not Disturb. Riley had tagged along, which maybe wasn’t a great idea, but really, Trent figures, how bad can it possibly have gone?
What he should figure, he realizes later, is how bad can it possibly go. The men pile out, already bitching about the heat. They’re professionals, though, and they get lined up fast enough despite their obvious confusion.
“These the new recruits?”
Trent doesn’t jump. He just shudders a little, that’s all. The Knight is way, way too stealthy for a guy dressed like…well…that. Antoine, who probably saw him coming, just drawls, “Yessir,” in a tone that screams, no shit these’re the new recruits.
There’s another movement, small and fast like a bug, on his left. A second later Riley’s nudging him in the ribs and going, HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT. He grunts an acknowledgement. He doesn’t have to be here, but he’s a little curious, really, as to how this is gonna go.
“I want to know what I’m working with,” the boss says suddenly. He steps back, cocks his head, and Trent has just enough time to think, oh for fuck’s sake when he continues with, “Attack me.”
There’s a beat. Two. Then one of them, with a long scar down the back of his head, asks, “All of us? Together?”
“Mm-hm.”
“But that’s–”
“What you’ll be doing in Gotham. I’m giving you all an order. Follow it, or leave.”
They follow it.
About four and half minutes later, Antoine lights a cigarette, gives Trent and Riley a very, very tired Look, and gets back in the APC.
Yeah. Mark’s probably not gonna be very happy.
* * *
Honestly, Trent chalks that one up to needing to make an impression. This whole thing sounds crazy on paper. And it worked: the second and third batches are swiftly pulled aside with, “He kicked our asses like five minutes after we got here, this guy means business.”
So when batch five rolls around, Trent’s not expecting to be called over.
“Some of you are probably thinking that this is overkill,” he says. “Ages here is going to show you why it’s not.”
What.
“Sir,” he starts, but the Knight just turns to him and spreads his hands.
“Shoot at me.”
“What.”
“Your last physical said your hearing was fine.” Little shit. “Shoot at me.”
He regrets not being busy today. Oh, well. Look, this is on camera. If this goes badly, it’s on camera that he was literally just following orders.
He hefts his minigun up. Wonders, a few seconds later, why he was worried; he gets a few rounds off, sure, but the Knight just does that annoying-ass sproing, bounces off the gun like it’s a damn diving board, and probably only doesn’t use gravity to drag Trent to the ground after because that’s not the point. The recruits are suitably awed. Trent’s just annoyed. There were a thousand ways that could have gone horribly wrong and also, what the fuck.
“You owe me a fight later,” he gripes. “No guns. No holds barred.”
The Knight just laughs.
“Sure,” he says easily. “Why the hell not.”
* * *
Twice is coincidence. The third time, when the Knight opens with some absolute bullshit line about, ‘whoever kills me gets to command–and profit from–this entire operation’, Trent just sits back to watch the fun.
He didn’t know this was going to happen. Hell, the boss just got back from Gotham. Showed up a few minutes after they did, actually, roaring into base on a bike Trent doesn’t recognize.* But he hopped off, collared one of the mechanics and told them to take it to Frank, and came over to investigate. And, well, he led with that.
“There’s no way he can take on that many guys,” one of the newbies whispers. And. It’s just, well, look. Nobody is stupid enough to accuse Trent of being a fine, upstanding gentleman.
He heads over, relishing a little in the path that gets cleared for him immediately, and rumbles, “Wanna bet?” The man blanches and he clarifies, grinning, “Twenty bucks.”
Newbie looks very much like he does not wanna bet, but he also doesn’t wanna risk losing face.
“You’re on. Twenty bucks this guy gets his ass kicked.”
“Anyone else?”
There’s a few takers that agree, there’s no way this nutcase can come out of this. Trent suddenly has a wonderful, awful idea and twists over to go, “Hey, Antoine.”
That causes a ripple of worry. Apparently, they didn’t realize they were betting with one of the Top. Oh, well. Antoine shakes a cigarette out and looks over.
“What.”
“We got a bet going over here that the boss is gonna get clobbered. Wanna pick a side?”
He shrugs, flicks his lighter open.
“Twenty that one of ‘em insists they need medical.”
Good point.
“Yeah, I’m changing mine to that, actually. All right. Anyone else?”
No.
They walk away with roughly ten new mortal enemies. Better than the one insisting that he had a broken arm; it was a sprain, and Mark was not happy to have to explain this.
Still, Trent figures, rifling through his cash, he’ll be around for newbies every time. This isn’t a bad haul.
THE END
*It’s Dick’s. Jason steals two bikes from him (that we know of), presumably for use with his own tech, though he’s also such a little fucker about it. :p

Okay I was curious about something and it would be a great help if you had the answers for it (if not you can just ignore it, don't worry)
So I was scrolling through Tumblr and I found a post with the ethnicity percentages of each member of the Batfam. I already knew due to the canon comics that Cass was East Asian, Duke is black, Damian is Romani and that Tim is at least half Arabic. But Jason's one actually surprised me because I haven't read it anywhere else (I guess it is a headcanon)
In some fics I have read he calls reader Arabic pet mames because they claim that his father/mother could have been Arabic too. But other people portray him as at quart or half Latino 🤔
Idk I wanted to know if it was canon or a fandom opinion, Google didn't have the answer and you are probably the Tumblr user who knows more about the Batfam that I know. Ohh and btw if it is not canon what are your personal thoughts about it?
That's all, sorry for bothering, don't really have to answer if you don't want to. Hope you have a good day🫶🏼

of course i cant ignore this, it’s far too interesting! i was thrilled to receive a message like this bcos most of my life has centered around batman and co so let’s get into it.
i’ll start with this: it’s entirely up to interpretation! there aren’t wrong answers here.
i’ve only ever found eurocentric ties for jason todd on google (i actually looked this up pretty recently bcos i was devising my personal niche fancasts for jason todd and dick grayson) so i think he should be anything in anyone’s mind. projection is entirely encouraged. arabic or latino or whatever, anyone can headcanon him different than white and i’m sure one day we’ll have some definitive representation of a marginalized group within him from a comic book writer/artist that felt seen. an example i adore is terry mcginnis from batman beyond (1999) was never confirmed to be any ethnicity, for the most part he was considered wonder bread white until a guy by the name of sean gordon murphy had interpreted him to be wasian when first watching the show and then confirmed it later on by writing it into his series batman: beyond the white knight.
i have actually seen the posts you’re talking about regarding jason todd being arabic and speaking the language and i adored it. <33 i had no idea what the source was so it led me to believe the author just came up with it and that’s what fanfic is all about! writing your interests, indulging yourself, and projecting.
so yes, jason todd may not have a confirmed ethnicity, and he may look wonder bread white sometimes, which is all the more reason to project. he’s a blank slate, so give him some flavor.

Hello! If you can, I would like a headcanon of Task 141 with a tiktoker s/o and see them doing a dance, you know, some tiktok trends. Thank you so much! <3
my apologies for this being so late, i haven't touched tiktok for months and have no idea what trends are currently popular
the clock app vs task force 141 | price, ghost, gaz, soap
includes: captain john price; simon "ghost" riley; kyle "gaz" garrick; johnny "soap" mactavish
gn!reader, gender neutral terms of endearment
warnings: nsfw content, mentions of breeding kink (implied), brief smutty descriptions, horny jokes (it's all in price's hcs)
word count: 1k, aprox. 250 words/ character
Captain Price
is so confused every time you start recording, like what are you doing?
you were just laying in his arms and decided to film a cute little tiktok because you wanted to join in the trend with your lovely husband
you looked back at it and you knew you couldn't post it, this man had the most confused face the whole time
"youngsters these days..." before picking your phone out of your hand and demanding cuddles
you tried on multiple occasions to show him tiktoks that you found funny
he just stared blankly, trying to figure out what you found funny at them
but you show him one dad humor tiktok and he's daying laughing??
watches tiktoks over your shoulder while you cuddle him
since he won't do trends with you, you might as well do them alone
so you decided to record a very pg 13 lies tiktok trend in front of him
just to spite him
we can all agree he has a breeding kink, yes? good luck with that mating press, soldier
and because you love him so much and respect his opinion so dearly, you ask him opinions on which tiktoks you should post
doesn't see the point of this but is supportive nonetheless
you use the opposite of what he chooses, sorry pop
until you accidentally stumble across some older thirst traps you recorded
he just stares at you, makes you send them to him
for safe keeping yk
Simon "Ghost" Riley
THIS MAN REFUSES TO USE TIKTOK BUT HE WATCHES REELS
"tiktok is for kids, luv" you just stare at him in disbelief for a minute (in my mind he's like early 30s)
you tried to explain that it's almost the same thing-
pretended not to hear you and went on with his day
but oh it's no longer a kid's app when you started doing the dancing trends
literally watches you doing them from the corner of the room
"you're not posting that, are you?"
he'd probably take your phone and delete it for safety but he doesn't know how to
you also try and make him do couple trends
random stage fright where he just 🕴️and doesn't move at all
confuses you because you have seen him scold a whole group of recruits before and then bark out orders to them with no problem
but you put a little phone with some music on it in front of him and he just error 404s
god forbid you have one good attempt and put this man on the internet
you dragged him into ONE trend and the video went viral
never again, you had to turn off comments
didn't even show him because... i mean we know, you're not feeding his ego any more today
its already so high, he doesn't need to see the step on me daddy comments
he also watches tiktoks over your shoulder, tells you to slow down because you're swiping too fast and he can't read
Kyle "Gaz" Garrick
type of person to have cooking videos appear when he's hungry and can't eat (me)
also type of guy who has random facts on his fyp but he actually goes to check if they're accurate
he either sends you 20 tiktoks in five minutes or 3 in two weeks
he actually does send you good tiktoks, i'll give him that
fairly normal feed (for your standards at least)
he'd argue with people in the comments about random misinformation
does cute tiktok trends with you
makes you get all dressed up for them because he wants everyone to know what a cute partner he has
i feel like he'd have a fairly large number of followers just because he's a man in uniform-
you both giggle at the simping in his comments
kisses you while telling you you're the only one who can have him
posts you so so much because he just loves to have little memories with you in his posts
i feel like he does the different outfit trends with you
overdressed bf x overdressed partner energy
knows all of the slang, trends, sounds and references them randomly
they appear on his feed before they do on yours
randomly pulls you aside and uses those "which blank are you" filters
redoes them because he's not happy with his result, also goes into a random analysis as to why it doesn't match him
"it's just a filter, kyle" you tell him because he won't stop until he gets his favorite thing
Johnny "Soap" Mactavish
this man right here sends the wackiest tiktoks with no explanation
like you just wake up with 10 tiktoks in five different genres and one of them is a poorly edited 3d animation (iykyk)
and if you ask him he just says it's funny???
also the type of person to find random misinformation about his field of work and send it to you complaining
doesn't last long
he finds another weird video and sends it right after the rant
starts recording randomly while you're talking to him
you don't notice until he shoves the phone in your face and records you mid sentence
he loves to see you doing trends (went wild for American horror show when you did it)
this man learned the dance with you and did it better
biggest fan of you posting thrist traps
there's just something about knowing that other guys are thirsting over you but he's the only one who can have you
helps you pick the best one to post and reads the comments with you
makes you post a couple tiktok right after, his account tagged and everything
has the weirdest profile pic and username
that plank/pushup training filter that was trending a while ago?
he did it like five times to impress you, makes you watch each one and give him your opinions
doesn't post anything, lets you do the bragging
he and gaz stole your phone once and recorded like 20 tiktoks with the same sound
all of them were showing how they almost burned you guys' kitchen down
they were used as proof against them
divider cred: @/cafekitsune

you already know what i will be asking about but ⭐️ for playing with fire! how did you come up with the idea of riley going with kendall to minnesota? the jail plotline? the katie scenes? many questions my apologies but i absolutely adore that fic! it’s one of my favourites that you’ve written!
I had to skim that fic just to remember what happened in it since I haven't read it in a while. Anyway, to answer your questions:
How did you come up with the idea of riley going with kendall to minnesota?
This was actually supposed to be a series of fics where each of the Jacksons went with a BTR boy to a different place to get some time away from each other/be prepared for adoption etc and followed the angst from there. So Riley went to Minnesota with the Knights, Rhuben would've gone to Texas with Logan, Patrick would've gone to NYC with James, Noah would've gone to FL with Carlos, and Sydney would've been in LA with Ronan. Because I'm so obviously pro Kiley, that was the one that came up first before I completely nixed the idea. But it was also because I always wondered what Riley would've thought of Kendall's home life with him being excited but also anxious to show her. He wouldn't have been embarrassed by his old life per se but he was aware of how...'boring' it was compared to everything music related she'd experienced up until them.
The jail plotline?
Jail plotline is from the canon plotline of the trouble that Riley, Rhuben, Patrick, and Noah got into when they were in Australia. It's fixed in their canon background because if it's a story or fandom where their parents are alive, it's the catalyst that has them move to the US. If it's a story or a fandom where their parents aren't alive it's part of their backstory. Long story short, Riley and Rhuben had great friends and a great family and tend to bend the rules but don't break them often. But then Riley and Rhuben meet some people who aren't the best/cause trouble and who they want to impress and start to do stupid dares that bend the rules of things. After a while it's clear that those friends are part of a gang and they get so stuck that, eventually, they steal their parents' wedding rings to sell off for money to, essentially, pay for protection. Patrick and Noah get wrapped up into it when they start to figure out what's going on and eventually there's a fight they get caught up in that has them detained for assault. Just back when I wrote it, I had no idea what I was writing and just added it for angst driven reasons so it kind of came out of nowhere. But at any point Ri, Rhu, Pat, or No ever mention they "got in some trouble at home" that's what they're talking about. And that's what that plot is.
The katie scenes?
So, one of the things that I've always been curious about is Kendall's and Katie's relationship in that...if you watch the show, a lot of the time it looks like Kendall's relationship with James, Carlos, and Logan are more important than his and Katie's. Makes sense, they're best friends, hockey players, in a band, they're brothers. They're family. But Katie is his actual family. You can tell they're close with the 'Big Brother', 'Baby Sister' thing and how quickly they will help each other when needed, and he used to sing her to sleep. The six year age gap between them (though we always push it to a three year age gap) would make it harder for them to have the same plotlines. But he's her brother and it looked like he all but abandoned her once they got to LA and they had much more than they could've ever wanted in Minnesota. So, how would she fell about that? She'd probably be really upset and pissed. She looks up to Kendall and probably sees him as her best friend in a way, and also as her dad, so why is it that everyone and everything else in his life has a bigger point of importance over her? That's the feeling I was wanting to explore with Katie...especially because of the fact that she really looks up to Riley as well and wants to spend some time with just her, but it seems that she only wants to spend time with Kendall. She's talked to Patrick about it but Patrick doesn't feel that way as he spends plenty of time with Riley just them and then also spends time with Katie just them, and doesn't really feel that he's been neglected in that way. Katie, on the other hand, feels neglected because of her big brother's new job, new friends, new crush, new experiences and it's like she's just an afterthought, especially since she didn't want to be in the limelight at all. She misses her brother (probably as much as she misses her dad) and that's not looked at a lot.
#riley responds#redemption riley#thanks for the ask#i'm always open for questions for that fic#or any of our btr stuff#of course#answered ask

🔥🔥🔥 May I have a BtVS unpopular opinion please? :)
Going with something positive for a change: I think Season 2’s Bad Eggs is actually quite a good episode.
Bad Eggs is an episode that pops up regularly on lists of worst BtVS episodes: it’s the fourth lowest user rated episode on IMDB, ranked as ninth worst on this list by Vox from 2017, listed as one of the show’s six worst episodes by Looper in 2023, to name just a handful of examples. And honestly I think this reputation is entirely undeserved.
Sure, it’s not a classic. If you were watching it live as the show first aired, I imagine it was a bit of a let down from the heights of Lie To Me or What’s My Line?. And it’s a little overshadowed by the upcoming Surprise/Innocence two-parter. The show had already proved it could do better, and would soon do so again.
There are lots of (much) better episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. But equally I can certainly think of lots of episodes of Buffy I’d want to rewatch less.
It’s not one of the show’s best efforts, but it’s very far from its worst. It doesn’t suffer from the overt racism of episodes like Pangs or Lies My Parents Told Me. It doesn’t play sexual assault for laughs, like Teacher’s Pet or Go Fish or Him. It doesn’t force Buffy’s friends to act entirely out of character just because the script has reached the point where conflict needs to happen, like Dead Man’s Party or Empty Places. It doesn’t feature Riley Finn.
(For that matter, it's a Buffyverse episode about pregnancy which doesn't even hint at killing off one of its female regulars! Which should be such a low bar to cross, and yet...)
The worst thing I can bring myself to say about it is that it’s a bit unfocused. A bit underdeveloped, with too many ideas that don’t really go anyway and could probably have been edited out. The special effect work with the hatching eggs is a bit dodgy at times. It’s not clear what, exactly, the Gorch brothers actually bring to the episode. Why does everyone suddenly forget that the egg-raising project is meant to be done by a partnership, and start taking their eggs home with them overnight? For that matter, why does Buffy know she’s meant to have a partner before anyone tells her? (Okay, yes, the answer to both those questions is that it’s only a joint project to set up Buffy’s reaction to learning she’s now a “single mother” like her own mom, but the writing could’ve bothered to disguise that fact a little.)
But there’s lots of really good stuff in this episode too. By this point in the show’s history, all the characters have settled into recognizable versions of themselves, and it’s just nice to watch them all interact before the tragedy of the next few episodes hits them. There are some actually amusing jokes, some of which even involve Xander. (“That was a rhetorical question, Mr. Harris, not a poll.”) I like the scenes with Buffy and her mom, highlighting how hard it is for Buffy to be the Slayer while at the same time trying to be somebody her mother can be proud of. We get an early cameo appearance from Jonathan. There’s some nice foreshadowing for the second half of the season (“Angel and I are just helpless slaves to passion”). And the shot of Buffy crawling up from the ground having killed the Mother Bezoar was iconic enough to make it to the opening credits for the season.
More than that, this feels like exactly the sort of fairly light, disposable filler episode that people on here are always claiming they miss from modern television and streaming services. It’s an episode that trusts that the audience already knows and cares about the people who appear in it, and are happy to mostly just watch them hanging out. It doesn’t introduce any new recurring characters (I mean, except Lyle Gorch I guess?); it doesn’t advance the main arc of the season (although it is certainly very aware of the metaphorical theme of this season: that’s why we have a whole scene where Buffy’s health class teacher writes down SEX on the blackboard). It doesn’t really have any sort of big philosophical message to impart. It’s exactly the sort of episode that wouldn't exist if the show was being made today.
And, for a lot of people, apparently, it's one of the worst episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer ever produced.

I hated “The Midnight Mass” Go watch “The Midnight Gospel” Instead
“Even though Midnight Mass does still contain plenty of overt horror elements, I think the series actually pushes Flanagan quite far outside the horror genre. If anything, I felt baited by this story, which plays within the modern horror sandbox while undercutting much of the ethos of modern horror via its embrace of Christianity as a source of hope and nourishment for lost souls facing an incomprehensible crisis. Many critics have found that to be a good thing, praising the series’ emphasis on the less sordid aspects of horror. Yet while Flanagan has every right to keep writing relentlessly hopeful stories, for horror fans like me, the effect of his optimism is frustration over feeling shunned as a non-believer — by the very genre that usually protects non-believers from feeling shunned.”
“Flanagan uses the plot of Midnight Mass as an allegorical stand-in for a broad range of extreme conservative reactions to the pandemic. On that theme, the series’ scathing reproach of Christianity’s enablement of hysteria, apocalypse mania, and survivalist extremism couldn’t be clearer. But if Flanagan wanted to condemn religious zeal more generally, he failed.”
“Midnight Mass makes several attempts to critique organized religion, yet the impression it leaves is that faith in God, and explicitly Christian faith in particular, is the ultimate pandemic comfort. The series almost entirely erases atheists, agnostics, and people of other religions by emphasizing its Christian worldview. “I choose God,” Hassan’s rebellious teen son, Ali, declares when he joins Paul and Bev’s new cult, as if he had not grown up worshipping God as part of his Muslim upbringing. The narrative wants to portray his choice as entirely wrong-headed, and he is quickly shown to regret his decision, but when most of the series’ other “good” characters are also making choices based on their proud faith in the Christian version of God, the implied falseness of Ali’s choice doesn’t sink in.”
“There’s plenty of room here for homages to movies about religious doubt such as Winter Light and First Reformed, but apart from Riley being a lapsed Catholic, dragged back to church at his parents’ insistence, Flanagan barely touches on religious doubt at all. Instead, he repeatedly places such an excruciating emphasis on faith in the divine as a form of ultimate reassurance — explicitly a Christian faith above all else — that Midnight Mass becomes a homily. Multiple long sequences where the whole town gets together to sing Christian hymns seem to serve no narrative purpose except to remind us how comforting God’s presence is and that worship is beautiful. While there’s a climactic effort to enfold atheism and agnosticism into a revised definition of “god,” similar in spirit to Angels in America’s famous ozone monologue, it comes far too late to shake the series’ Christian-centered worldview.”
^^ So: This Up Top. ^^
I’m an atheist, even before I wasn’t an atheist, I self-identified privately as a Deist from high school and then after college started privately self-identifying more and more as an atheist (I’m still very much in the closet about it). My gf is a very secular Muslim (does not practice at all). We both found the show’s heavily Christian overtones and erasure of both of us to be both incredibly offensive, and at the same time horror taking a back-seat to portray mainstream Christianity’s most toxic ideas was super off-putting and we ultimately couldn’t finish this show. Between the islamophobia (more like hey we’ll just hate him because he’s Muslim), and the atheist ~actually telling someone what happens when you fucking die~ being casually brushed off by a belief in the afterlife because of some “supernatural-ish creature” and a whole town being brainwashed by a cult: It could’ve been handled better and it just wasn’t. The writer does a far better job stating this, and I encourage you to read the full article, but this really isn’t Flanagan’s best work.
We didn’t need this, we needed something better.

I swear I think that Wooly is not just Sam (in my game theory bag, Mat was really onto something I'll give that video that at least.) but also Jordan Cook, the poor little brother that was "kidnapped" and taken away from Joanne Cook. The woman Riley's aunt Kate was getting letters from in the beginning of the game.
THIS THEORY IS REALLY STREATCHING BUT IM PUTTING MY THOUGHTS OUT THERE IN THE POND OF IDEAS TO GET IT OUT MY HEAD, more under the cut. This is very very very long and I refuse to split it apart into seperate post.
- I say this because again, not only was Wooly showing off parently behavior like GT said, but I also see the behavior of just a mature child.
[Small tanget to justify up above: Speaking out my ass here but when I was growing up, (and I'm talking about single digit ages) I had a simmilar personality to the sheep, where if the people around me where taking the topic to inappropriate places or dark themes, I tried to either tune it out or redirect it to more child like things so that the adults around wouldn't be suspicious or so that we wouldn't get introuble. Kids aren't stupid.]
- I don't remember which update it was from the game jam version but y'all remember that picture that was beside the TV of the two kids, with the boy giving the little girl a piggy back ride. I forgotten about this too until I was watching the first GT video about this again fun and now I'm here. Keep that image in mind.
(now stay with me here please)
- Go to official Amanda TikTok and give them a follow and then check out this specific video, where the caption is only praising the truly fire sound accompanying it, but watch what the two are doing! https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZT81JtDrw/
- A piggy back ride like the children's photo from that one update!
——————
I'm speaking out my ass, but please let me cook!! Hear me out!
——————
- I suspect that Jordan might one of the first ever victims (other than Rebecca) of HaMelN Entertainment doing their whole demonic shizz.
- With that in mind, think about this; what if before they "tested" it out on Sam and put him in the show as Wooly, they were so confident in their chances of success for summoning whichever of the demons they wanted, that they just started the whole shebang and plopped Jordan right into the whatever and made him Wooly after luring him away.
- But to their surprise, they find that Amanda (Rebecca) is fighting back way harder in turning the evil possession away because of the comfort of having another child around to experience this scary stuff with her. She's not alone and she feels confident enough that she and whoever she can see is inside of Wooly can figure this out and maybe get out too.
[Incoming Tanget: Throughout the game her efforts to try and fight back the possessions or the influence of whoever demon is in her are so lack luster and dry; with the exception of the "What's a family?" tape where's she's actively crying and screaming while undergoing the transformation; that I believe she's mostly given up when Riley is around and we as Riley are seeing what's happening.]
- After some time though, Amanda (Rebecca) starts to loose hope and control leaving it up to Wooly (Jordan) to still try and tell whoever is watching to help them, with subtle hints and clues.
- He can't speak about it directly or else Amanda will cut him off or hurt him. And we only see her actually hurt hurt Jordan Wooly.
[Another Tanget: You might be thinking, No we see her hurt Colton Wooly too, and to that I say, Nay! Because With Colton Wooly all the actions are cut off screen, yes, but that pertains to both, AND the aftermaths with Colton Wooly that we see; talking about the "What's a family?" Tape again; is a thousand times tammer than what happens to Jordan Wooly in vr1 of "Uh-oh Accidents"]
- I personally see two distinct types of people in Wooly depending on how deeper you go to finding secrets and getting to that final Amanda tape where she tell you that she, Rebecca is still out there.
(After finding out that each base tape has at least three different versions based off what you do and say on it, this is what I concluded)
——————————————————
- Wooly 1 (Jordan) is the Wooly that we see durring,
Tape 1: In the kitchen) All versions - Where everything goes as planned and they player/Riley answers everything correctly. Where the player/Riley is disobedient and gets Amanda upset. And when the player/Riley burns the kitchen down with the toy oven.
Tape 2: In the neighborhood) All versions - When the player/Riley plays as intended in both scenarios. Where Amanda is sending a package to Kate and then the one for Wooly's birthday. As well when the player/Riley is disobedient for both.
[Tanget: The question Wooly asked "Uh, Amanda, maybe some of our friends can come back to the neighborhood?" Implies that they weren't the only kids there in the past. And then when the player/Riley continues to type anything else but Wooly's name at the end of it, the "???: Gosh, I guess you really forgot..." Helps me out on this case too]
Tape 3: Uh-oh Accidents) vr1 - The one where Amanda hurts Wooly knee, in all possible scenarios when the player/Riley is being helpful or disobedient
——————————————————
- Wooly 2 (Sam Colton, Rebecca's Dad) is the Wooly we see in,
Tape 3: Uh-oh Accidents) vr2 - Where Amanda drugs Wooly and tries to attack him with medical equipment.
Extra EP tape 4: Everything Rots) All Versions - Where Amanda is being grossly fascinated with death and rotting things and Wooly, kinda like a parental figure is trying to pull her back in line kindly until he can't anymore.
Extra EP tape 5: What's a Family) All Versions - Where Amanda and Wooly go to the Zoo and Amanda starts to talk about family slowly making Wooly regress into a mindless animal.
——————————————————
In conclusion I think Wooly has two minds/souls/spirits(?) In him and that's why throughout the game you can see him sometimes being whimpy and more afraid of Amanda than anything else, and other times sticking up for himself and calling out Amanda's (more so the demon taking control of his little girl) BS
Thank you for taking the time to read my insane ramblings!
💖 It means a lot!
Bonus: The joke tape for hackers of Wooly just sitting there for 10 min, is truly nobody. It's actually just Wooly the character before any soul was put into it to give the character a real personality.

My love of music started with Sabrina Carpenter...
I didn't grow up with Taylor however Sabrina Carpenter was such a prominent person in my youth. My big sister used to play her albums, such as Eyes Wide Open and EVOLUTION were on repeat. She was 11 at the time, and had gotten into the routine of playing Sabrina every morning which I remember, my younger self despised. "I will never like Sabrina Carpenter" I remember vividly thinking. However despite my petty self, I fell in love with her music and her voice. Girl Meets World was one of my favorite shows growing up, having long memories off watching it after my bedtime. Almost Love was, I think, one of my own first Sabrina memory. I remember trying to copy her dancing, and still to this day I remember them. I have this very ancient memory of using this song in my 13 years of age not at all understanding what it meant (now I'm older I have a way better understanding). Singular Act 1 was the first album I was obsessed with (but more on that in a second). Eyes Wide Open just reminds me of being 13. Specifically Can't Blame A Girl For Trying, I have so many memories of listening to that song and knowing that song was my very first favorite song. I listen now, and realize how truly innocent this song specifically the lyric "even if I always end up crying..." I cried about the boy I associate this album with. I remember sobbing. I remember listening to Too Young and convincing myself I was not too young. I remember listening to the Middle Of Starting Over in my first year of middle school. I remember really relating to the idea doing something right this time which in my 13 year old self mind was moving out of her childhood room tuning into the room that soon would be the place I sought out comfort for. I have memories of listening to White Flag, and feeling sorta giggling and giving up. I have an odd memory of looking out o the car, as I was being driven home, and this song (specifically a lyric video because I didn't know what Spotify was) was playing and Too Young played too Best Thing I Got reminds me of him, the stupid boy I still see. Actually hearing this song for the first time in years I forgot that A) it reminds me so much of Christmas music B) how relatable I found these lyrics. This sounds like my 7th grade English class where I would stare longingly at that stupid boy. Your Love's Like was one of my favorites, I remember. "I just need a little taste of you and I" I remember his eyes were, and still are such a prominent memory I have. "It's like Paris after midnight," was my favorite lyric because I had always wanted to go to Paris. I now have spent a week in Paris and I just want to hug my younger self. I haven't heard Seamless in years. I used to listen to it so often and remember my former best friend. She and I grew up together, and because of her distancing herself back when we were a little younger, this blog was created. I remember not being able to listen to this song when we stopped being friends, and how it was on repeat when I felt like I was losing her. Looking back I was just a tad bit dramatic, but still hearing Seamless's first lyric that is "good morning" remembering how we had Chorus first period. We sat next to each other, and I remember getting jealous that she was making new friends in that class. I remember seeing Girls Meets World with her and we both loved it. I was Riley, and she was Maya. She had a rough childhood with only her single mom and her two older siblings, and so I remember her really resonating with Maya. We're no longer friends, however I still post about her, my Dorothea. Too Young is something I also still post about, and yeah I was too young. My girlhood felt stolen, however I stole it back. I love Sabrina to this day, and she is as familiar as the scratches of my 13 year old self's diary.
EVOLUTION YOUR NEXT...AND YOUR A GOOD ONE

My thoughts on Inside Out 2
Hi 👋 so a long time ago, I had made a post talking about Inside Out and what I thought about it. I figured, why not do the same for the sequel! Mainly cause wouldn't it be weird if I didn't? Lol. Anyways, let's get right to it.
First things first, I have to admit that it wasn't as strong as the first movie, but that I still enjoyed the sequel and still has very important hitting points.
I actually got to watch it twice, the second time being last night, and it gave me the opportunity to see things I might of missed or overlooked from trying to follow along with where the story was going. I didn't realize how much part of the movie paralleled the first, like with Riley's most important islands being tested and in trouble or having to learn that having all the emotions working together is very important for things to be alright for Riley.
The main parts I want to talk about is the ending and some pairings.
The ending probably would of hit me harder if I was still a teen in school or college, but I still suffer with anxiety sometimes. I remember what it was like for me when I was younger and I've had plenty of stressful situations in recent years. Showing how much Anxiety was struggling to try and make this all work while Joy stepped in to try and get them under control. Telling Anxiety to "let her go", it still hit me. Felt like it got directed to my own anxiety too, cause it can be so hard to get out of a panick when you're stuck in a rut with that one feeling inside of your head. Then when we were confronted with the fact that we can't try to change Riley, and Joy realizing her mistake of trying to have Riley seem perfect by throwing out the memories that seemed bad to then let all these feelings of Riley shine to then hug the belief tree when it ends on sometimes needing help, that's the moment I think I actually cried. Cause yeah we aren't perfect, we all make mistakes, and we all need help sometimes to continue to try out best in life. The second time watching, I appreciated Joy being in control given Riley the feeling of feeling better, cause I realized that this was Joy in her moment of knowing what all she needed to do and going through one of the things Riley loves. Skating/Hockey. Plus the ending showing how we can getting keep anxiety to a low n such was also very nice to see and I can somehow, somewhat try to imply that to myself.
OK, SOME FUN STUFF!
I slowly had started to remember all the shipping stuff with Inside Out after seeing some tiktoks and having of seen the biggest hint at a relationship that happened in the movie. Even tho I never gave my own opinion on some of these ships or ships I like, I figured I could share here cause OK I LOVE EMBARRASSMENT AND SADNESS!! They are just so cute and I love their dynamic! I know a lot of it shines because Embarrassment ends up helping Sadness throughout the movie, BUT THATS WHERE IT ALL COMES TOGETHER!! Sadness and Embarressment are pretty similar in behavior of being shy. Embarrassment seems to recognize this when finding out Sadness had made her way back to headquarters in order to try and save Riley. Sadness tries to hide and it's implied that Embarrassment has been following along with the plan, but wasn't really very sure how this being the right thing to do. Instead of telling the others, he helps her hide and continues to help her keep her hiding and lowkey helping the other original emotions. He just quite the sweetie and it feels like behind the movie knew what they were doing as the ship feels strong for the two of them loo.
I'll try not to be too long, but I'll talk about the other relationships too. From the first movie, Disgust and Fear I thought was a cute couple idea. The scared wimp of a guy with a confident beautiful gal is always a cute combo. I also loved the idea of Joy and Anger. Such a firy combo that I can totally see why people would ship it, and even if some people don't think so, I think that kind of shines a bit in the second movie as we're given more time with the two (and the others ofcourse lol) in the second movie. With the second movie, I do love the ship idea or even just at least the friend idea for Fear and Anxiety BOTH because of the two comments from Fear, but also because fr those two emotions go hand in hand with worrying about stuff. Fear short term, while Anxiety goes for long term. Evny and Ennui don't have too much for ships (at least to me) but Anxiety and Evny for sure have a good friendship as they work together the most while the core emotions are gone.
That's all my thoughts on the second movie! If you read this then hope you enjoyed and feel free to leave an ask in my ask box if you'd like. Figured I'd offer that since I offered it last time lol xP.
