Hey, I fucking called it. Though some people are still huffing copium because they for some reason can't believe a child who killed a fully grown adult, who was entirely willing to hurt her, by beating her to death with an umbrella couldn't kill an unarmed twink who would never hurt a child and only recently stopped being suicidal.

Or perhaps it's just because they can't cope with the consequences of their own actions or that the image of Amane they had in their head wasn't quite consistent with reality. They just treated her as weak, innocent little child instead of acknowledging her as someone who can cause harm. As if her victim status cancels out that she can hurt people.

Did they ever like Amane in the first place or just what they thought she was? Judging by people's reactions, it's pretty clear which.

Been tossing around ideas for this with @lavenderdrxp and I find this idea absolutely hilarious. Takes place in Kimetsu Gauken.

*You are Muzan's fiance but not by choice. It was an arrangement made by your families when you both were younger as part of a business deal.

*Despite being his 'fiance', Muzan doesn't even acknowledge your presence unless he absolutely HAS to. In fact he even legitimately forgets you even exist most of the time too busy with his plans to take over Japan. He's a pretty sorry excuse for a fiance. The only reason you haven't just called it quits yet is out of respect for your family but you're very close to not caring anymore and calling the entire thing off. It's not like he'd care.

*Despite this one day he actually does acknowledge you!... Because he wants to use you to infiltrate Kimetsu Academy to spy on his Cousin Kagaya.

*Up to this point Kagaya and Muzan hate one another only acting distantly cordial at family gatherings if even that. Despite that Kagaya has never met You. He knows his cousin was engaged but he's never met Y/n (mostly Muzan's fault for refusing to bring you anywhere EVER), so You would be the perfect spy. (Brilliant thinking am I right?)

*You reluctantly agree only on the basis that he shuts up about this entire thing he won't stop bugging you about.

*You set up a meeting with Kagaya via Muzan giving you his number and intergrade yourself into the Academy's staff as his and Amane's new secretary. Giving you access to many of the Academy's...grading papers. And student profiles and... There's nothing here that screams 'government Intel's or anything Muzan would want. It's just a normal every day school.

*He INSISTS that you keep looking around much to your annoyance.

*Kagaya and Amane know the entire time btw. Muzan isnt as clever as he thinks he's being. They knew from the moment Kagaya interviewed you for the job, but he found his cousins attempts to sabotage him quite amusing and let you stay.

*Slowly things start turning. You start to really enjoy your job at the Academy. You've already made friends with a few teachers like Kyojuro, and Kanae.

*Students start to like coming to the office more because of how bubbly and friendly the new secretary is. The teachers start to talk to you more often and invite you to staff parties and outside work events.

*Was working outside your old job really this fun? You couldn't remember the last time you actually felt appreciated or just had someone WANT to talk to you.

*As part of your 'mission' you were supposed to get as close to the Ubuyashikis as possible to learn about all their little secrets. Again they already know but they're curious about what you'll do so they allow you to (not so discreetly) come around them and speak to them often.

*Kagaya thinks it's amusing watching you shyly peek into the doorway to his office with papers clutched into your hands and bashfully asking if you could come in. The way you so innocently look unsure of something or squeak out a question. It's adorable seeing your attempts.

Amane finds your sweet and bubbly personality is perfect for the job! Especially when she sees how much you love interacting with the students and always friendly towards her own children. When you shyly ask her for help with scheduling or ask where a certain file is, always puts a smile on her face.

How could someone like Muzan be engaged to someone so sweet?

*It's Amane that finally brings up the topic. She accidentally walks in to you crying as Muzan is yelling at you over the phone calling you names before hanging up and leaving you a sobbing mess she quickly comforts. Assuring you that it'd be alright and the three of you should have a long talk.

*You're surprised that they knew, but too tired and stressed out to care allowing the couple to hug and comfort you.

*Muzan shouldn't really be surprised when one day he attempts to contact you and finds himself blocked from all your socials. He's been in contact with you this entire time so what the hell is going on?! He gets Kokushibo and a few other employees to text/call you to tell you to quickly get in contact with him. But they all either get completely ignored or blocked too. He's frustrated more and more everyday that you don't contact him.

*Until one day you unblock him to text him ONE word before reblocking his number- "Goodbye."

*Muzan is confused, offended, and mostly pissed! Goodbye?! What the hell does she mean by goodbye?! Doesn't she know who she's dealing with?!

*Not too long after he gets a text message and photo from Kagaya and Amane. Annoyed he opens the message from his cousin and his wife only for a glass shattering noise to go off in his head, and his jaw drop to the floor-

*It's a photo of You in the middle looking beautiful and happy with Amane and Kagaya on either side of you showing off a beautiful New diamond ring on your ring finger-

Amane: "Thank you for introducing us to Y/n. She's such a a lovely woman. You'll be receiving your wedding invitation soon."

Kagaya: "No bitches?"

Kagaya: "You really need to reconsider your plans better if you want to stop looking like a fool."

Kagaya: "Btw have you met our fiance? lol"

*Muzan has to get a new phone after chucking his in rage. Poor Kokushibo literally has to hold him from behind and keep him from storming into the academy and making a fool of himself.

*He doesn't attend but as a polite gesture (a.k.a Kagaya rubbing it into Muzan's face), he is sent a final message in the form of y'all's wedding invite.

A/N: Wow, it's been awhile since I've done one of these, and this is a really old request, but I miss writing and I miss you guys. <3 Took my time on this one, and I haven't written anything tbhk related in a good minute, so bare with me. Warnings: Nothing but pure fluff

Amane’s hand grabbed yours as he pulled you towards him, his eyes illuminating under the moonlit gaze peeking from the window as you both stood still by the stairwell, the shadows from the dark corner peeking behind his back seemed only to define his features more.

An amused laugh bubbled in your throat as your eyebrow raised, “Amane, you know it’s well after school hours, what are you doing?” Your eyes glanced down to your hand interlaced with his, you felt the gentle squeeze tatter against your skin, throughout your whole body, your eyes finding his again. “I can’t spend extra time with my girlfriend?”

You scoffed, Amane always tried to smooth talk his way out of things, especially when mischief was born from it. “We need to go home.” 

Amane let out a sigh of defeat, for a moment you thought you’d convince him, but this is Amane we’re talking about. “We will, after this.” He proceeded to drag you up the steps, the abrupt movement making you almost trip, and you held onto the railing for stability. Your shouts of protest went to vain as he pushed the door open that led to the roof.

The soft breeze gently cupped your face as your eyes wandered to the scene in front of you. There was a blanket set down with constellations scattered across the dark blue fabric. His telescope was set next to the blanket, inviting you to peek through into a starlit fantasy that rested in the night sky.

You walked forward, your hand gently losing its grip from Amane’s as you moved closer to the blanket, you couldn’t help but smile. You knelt down, your knees hitting the cotton below as your hands ran through the fluffy sewn blanket. 

“You did this.. For me?” You turned to the boy who was only standing a few inches away, a smile laid on his features, due to the moonlight you could even see the canthal lines at the corners of his eyes, he never looked happier. His eyes appeared to match the constellations that laid on the sheet you were kneeling on now. He walked closer to you as you scooted over to give room for him to sit with you.

Sitting beside you, you noticed how nervous he was, a faint blush stained his cheeks and his hands stilled on his knees, but you could see his thumb lightly tapping the fabric of the jeans. 

“I did.” Amane’s head turned to face yours, his hand finding yours, a touch that was made so many times yet this felt more intimate. It burned into your skin as his hand clasped yours, guiding you closer to the telescope in front of you. The metal was cold against your skin as you brought your eye to the smaller hole of the telescope, allowing you to get a closer glimpse of the stars above.

Amane’s hands reached and turned the telescope to the right while you were looking through, his other hand rested on your shoulder. “You see that?” 

You hummed in response, looking at the star that seemed to shine brighter than the rest, like a mini sun, and coincidentally, that’s exactly what it was. “They call that one Sirius, it’s actually one of the brightest stars up there, and the closest to Earth.”

A small smile was placed on your lips as you listened to him explaining the star to you. You could hear the passion in his voice as he said these facts so easily, like they were engraved in his memory, saying them was as easy as breathing, not one stutter. The star shone, and you monovered your hands so you were able to zoom in on the bright light, noticing just how similar yet so different it was to the others that surrounded it. “It’s beautiful…”

You heard small movements behind you, the blanket becoming a bit disarray from the shuffling. You felt hands placed on your hips as Amane slowly pulled you away from the telescope. “Hey, I wasn’t done-”

Your sentence was cut short when you felt his head rest itself on your shoulder, his hair tickling your skin, making you more self aware of the feeling of his body pressed against yours. His hands and arms wrapped around your lower stomach as he pressed you further into him. Your arms popped with goosebumps and an uncontrollable smile fought its way on your face.

“I wanted to show you this, to show you how beautiful the stars are,” Amane mumbled, the feeling of his lips lightly pressing against your skin as he spoke brought heat up from your neck to your cheeks. “And how it’s not enough to ever take my eyes off you.” 

Your smile broadened as your hand moved down and rested on top of his, the padding of your thumb gently caressing his knuckles. You looked up at the night sky, your lashes fluttering and your gaze dazed with pure bliss. “Nothing could ever pull my eyes from you either.”

Amane held you tighter in response, indulging himself in your smell, how sweet it was and your touch, the softness of your skin that brought an eerie calm to him. How your voice sounded and the small breaths you took in a serene moment such as this one.

He had you in his hands, he was able to reach you and admire you up close the way he wanted to, unlike the moon that’ll always be a beauty from afar. The difference between you and the stars in Amane’s eyes was that you were simply ineffable, the sky couldn’t come close.

Book of Lost Tales 5: more houses of the Valar!

Writing on my phone, so there might be hilarious autocorrect mistakes. Long post.

Oromë is often outside Valinor, more often than Ossë and as often as Yavanna. But he's got a lot of land full of forests and mountains and deer and bison (!) and all kinds of animals, which he doesn't hunt, because he only hunts outside of Aman. Also, there are no predators. I guess Manwë's eagles eat grass? Ok maybe there are predators, just not in those forests.

Oromë's house is wide and low, full of trophies and hunting weapons. I imagine a log cabin the size of a palce. In the middle of each room there's a living tree used as a column, which is really cool. The color scheme is, predictably, green and brown. I really need to find time for Minecraft again. Also, there's partying.

Vána spends most time in her gardens, fenced with huge whitethorns (hawthorns, but with a pretty name) and the center is full of roses and her favorite place. And in there is the cauldron of golden light and a fountain of it.

Birds sang there all the year with the full throat of spring, and flowers grew in a riot of blossom and of glorious life.

I love the prose. Also:

So they begged(!) Aulë to carve then a house under the roots of cold northern mountains. So he did, with the help of their (we don't call them Maiar yet) who are called "shadowy folk" which doesn't sound like they're nice people. They dug vast caves that go even under the sea, and are gloomy and eerie, and this is the Halls of Mandos. But here the place is called after the Vala, not the other way around.

His main hall is black (of course Tolkien can't simply say "black", it's "sable" because this sounds more ominous, just like with Morgoth's shield). It is full of dark mist, illuminated with one small lamp with a few drops of the silver dew. The floor and columns are made of jet (mmm nice, I'll use blackstone probably when doing it in Minecraft). Do you think it's peak goth vibes? No. Just wait.

Anyway dead Elves land there, and btw they can die only by getting killed with weapons, or of grief. Hunger, cold etc aren't lethal to them? Probably? Anyway then Mandos judges them and they wait for an appointed time in dreams of memories (no mention of torture or general unpleasantness, it's just gloomy) and are reborn. In their descendants.

And now we get to Fui, and it's... A lot.

She's the wife of Mandos, her job is "the distilling of salt humors whereof are tears", and black, weblike(!) clouds of "despair and hopeless mourning (!!), sorrows and blind grief".

She's basically uNienna with a touch of Ungoliant... But that's not all.

Her hall is bigger and darker than her husband's, and lit with a single coal. The walls and pillars are basalt and the roof is made of bats' wings. This is peak goth interior design.

Oh, and she judges the Men after they die (!?!) and now it gets funny, because the part about Men leaving Arda went away for a holiday, and in this chapter they get a in-Arda afterlife, which is a mix of various mythologies.

Some stay in Mandos, which is the most normal thing.

some she drives forth beyond the hills and Melko sizes then and bears then to Angamandi, or the Hells of Iron, where they have evil days.

Ok. So.

The Valar actually, officially send some spirits of Men to Melko, because, idk, justice? I wonder if he ever thanks Fui for that.

Generally, in BoLT Melko seems much more... Accepted? Fitting into the world? I'm not sure how to call it. More in place there.

Fui is scary and I hate her. Well ok, I don't hate her more than Melko... No, wait. I do. Sorry. Characters whose evil is not acknowledged by the narrative get a different treatment. 😠

I love the phrase "they have evil days"

So, back to the afterlife mess for Men. Some are send in a black ship with black sable sails to plains from which a little bit of Taniquetil is visible, and I think this is meant to be the winning option???!?!? They camp there and sung a little bit and wait for the end of the world.

Ok, there's another, better option: some lucky few are brought by proto-Eonwë to Valmar and party with the Valar. And wait for the end of the world.

As I said, this thing is a mess.

Makar and Meásse build their own house without Aulë (why? It's not said why. I guess they didn't like him), sided only by their we-don't-call-them-Maiar-yet.

It's grim, and made of iron and full of noise and fighting and booze. No Valar visit then except Tulkas, who doesn't like them (or them him), but he needs to keep fit.

Their house is full of weapons and shields, and lit with torches, and we get a mention of red torchlight reflected in naked swords, which I suppose Tolkien liked, because we'll get one in the film too, at the oath of Feanor.

And that's it, now for the chapter notes.

So, Christopher Tolkien days that Elves dying only from wounds or grief is canon even in the Silm. (This would explain why Maglor throwing himself into the sea did not work, also makes him look somewhat stupid 😁 but it's rather have Maglor stupid and alive than dead.)

Super pretty Nene that looks angry/ determined! I think this illustration is depicting after the new timeline red house arc! She's trying to escape the clock at her feet, maybe symbolizing the new timeline... I love the resolved look in her eyes!

For some reason Aoi looks very scared??? If I guess correctly and this is supposed to foreshadow the next events, I think something big might happen to her. Maybe she'll suffer consequences for learning about supernaturals when she is supposed to belong to this world. I can't tell if she looks scared or sad, maybe she'll learn or witness something? Hopefully nothing will happen to her during/after their escape!

Terry is clearly glaring and looks angry. His hand-on-sword/ ready to fight pose makes him seem like he is preparing to attack? Maybe defend something? From their positions, it kinda looks like he is protecting Aoi? It's so rare seeing him with a frown in official art (I think? Most of the time he is smiling/neutral and never openly angry) ( I might be wrong tho). Seems like he is very. Very pissed. If this art does represent future events, then we'll probably be able to see a very upset Terry soon! Seems like he isn't entirely destroyed by the events/ will get a hold of himself at some point at least. I would really like to see shattered Teru and him having some focus so... Hope it's the second option!

Kou and Mitsuba in the shadows, only a little light on them... This probably pictures them a bit before y'know.... Hope they're peaceful at least for now! Btw I kinda forgot how good Mitsuba looks with the Kamome uniform! And You behind him raiteijou in his hand! Maybe we can expect a flashback chapter explaining what happened exactly to them both?

Kako- he looks so detached from everything like totally peaceful and all. I mean he's a supernatural after all! Judging by his prominance in the art, we can expect an impactful Kako return! Seeing his stance and the way he holds his cane firmly I'm not sure the group will succeed at convincing him to help them go back. He looks so...in control here? Btw the shape of his cane is kinda interesting, looks like a sun, that is for some reason really present in this art

There, and the main color being yellow. Is it the clock keepers représentative symbol? (Can't find it on Kane tho. Maybe it is related to their origins). Maybe the yellow is foreshadowing a return to the clock keepers boundary / judgment court (it was golden if I remember correctly)!

Mirai I absolutely stunning here! She seems kinda serious for once?? Not grinning or anything (well still not serious serious but huuh at least focused?) love her bangs, love her pose, love the green in her hair! She's the only keeper whose clock we can see worn in the art! Can't wait to see the Kako-Mirai duo in the next chapters!

Akane absolutely stunning he's devouring he's killing it here. He looks resigned/determined? I'm happy to see his resolve after the... Kou... incident.........He'll probably try his best to bring the old world back. For some reason he's the one holding the Yorishiro... And in a secretive and mysterious way too, putting it at his mouth.I wonder what that could mean. Did he steal it? Maybe he will use it when trying to activate the big clock? Maybe it somehow has a connection to him?? Speculations speculations! But I guess we'll get to see his supernatural form really soon! Can't wait to see what (prob.big) role he'll play in the next chapters!

Yugi Amane!!! Is that professor Yugi or old timeline Yugi tho? He's wearing short sleeves so I guess it's old timeline Yugi but his face looks pretty mature too! He's repairing the big clock...I think we'll learn more about his connexions with the clock keepers really soon!

That's definitely not the big clock. If you compare it to the actual one, we can see that this one's number is in letters and it doesn't have the black circles design/ smaller arrows on it. My guess are that this is Kako's! Looks very similar to the one in Mirai's hand and we can again find the sun-like design of his cane as an arrow this time...That makes me think. Nene seems to be trying to escape this clock, who is presumably Kako's. Is the grandpa going to be an antagonist this time? Ahhhh I'm so hyped!!

Now this is me totally outstretched but can you see the clock almost hitting 6? Maybe we'll see Hakubo again before the end of the arc... (I'm totally overanalyzing this omg)

Lastly these huuuh film rolls? The one used in movies. I wonder what the numbers could mean- maybe nothing at all, maybe foreshadowing. Could they represent all the realities Kako- and Mirai created by altering the timelines? Then maybe we'll see an insight on their journey.

Anyways 10/10 art colors are beautiful, composition incredible, love the wheels and mechanical components scattered everywhere, the blue and yellow theme is incredible and clock keepers back in full force!!! Kudos to AidaIro, they nailed month's chapter and art, this is soo soooo good. I'm definitely hyped for the future events!

i've been having So many rider conversations lately. one of which is the fact that kamen rider doesn't really have rivals. because the main rider is supposed to care about the world more than some random asshole. and this truly only deviates in atypical settings like if they were rivals before ridering even happened. (kaito and kouta).

and i am rewatching kuuga, obviously, and a large motivation in that is about how godai doesnt want people (general) to cry, and he wants to protect people's smiles. hero prioritizes world over individual. but in decade yusuke initially prioritizes yashiro over others, and it takes.. manpain, essentially, to get him to see the bigger picture.

so we have heroes that arent like the ideal already. we have. tendou. tsukasa. my yardstick. and it brings into question the image of a hero.

does it actually matter that a hero chooses an individual over the world if the result is the same.

(kind of an extension of both my prior blade analyses. but this one has SCREENSHOTS. first second)

so we discuss the role of a hero. in kuuga ep8, mika wonders if people just dont care what happens to an individual when a tragedy occurs. what value does an individual have when many others were also sacrificed? mika comes to understand this by realizing she, too, is that individual, and yes, she matters too. kenzaki says to sacrifice yourself unthinkingly for someone is a really nice thought. 誰か, Someone. this sentiment is the role of a hero, after all... and that is the point of all of this.

heinous line btw. the writers were sick for this. but at the time it's set up as innocuous. it's a followup to talking about amanes father only thinking about his family in his dying moments, but this bit of dialogue feels more general and wistful. because kenzaki apparently doesnt have anyone he feels like that about... Yet. so it can be taken as regarding people in general. and its obviously not like he doesnt kind of do this every time he fights. being a rider is dangerous. there are many undead who could kill him. he's talking to one who could. not that kenzaki minds though lol. and it leads into when shima asks why he fights, what his purpose is. and he comes up with this:

which is true! this is quite literally what kenzaki is fighting for as blade. the people around him, and everyone else. but "the people around me" is. extremely literal. そこにいるの人. and then 人を愛してる is also kind of a crazy ass line! it is intense but widely general. "i love people." you (i? we.) can understandably interpret the first half to be talking about his Literal Friends, but there isnt even 大切な or anything indicating strong personal feelings. he doesnt even SAY friends. this is why these lines stick out to me.

despite being pretty friendly and kind he is somehow starkly impersonal! kenzaki truly loves the world and the people in it, but individuals are part of that whole of "people". kenzakis social circle is made up of coworkers and people his coworkers know, with kotaro being the only one to willingly barge in and become kenzakis friend (which is named as an anomaly - which must mean the distance is recurring), and then hajime appearing as an enemy and slowly becoming something more- which is an anomaly, which means the distance is recurring!

an exerpt of a fic an old friend gifted to me, which i think about constantly, and also exemplifies this well: its more because youre a person than because you're you.

i just .love when characters are like this. their actions are heroic and kind but their reasoning seems less so. that being more personal feels more "right", but it doesnt have to be. as long as the result is the same, what does the reasoning matter? and obviously most heroes dont know everyone they're protecting. every single individual saved is a single person, but they still make up the whole of "people". kenzaki's particular oddness comes from the fact that it still, somehow, extends to other relationships, even people who are ostensibly his friends. this is why choosing to save the world and hajime sets hajime as that main priority, as he is the danger in question, and thus not part of the whole.

and nobody knows. nobody outside of kenzakis very small pool of acquaintances will ever know either that he is responsible for the darkroach infestation, nor the reason that he was. moreover, most people will not even know blade himself was the one that saved the world, and only a fraction of anyone will know the board riders were even fighting the undead until one day they werent. (kotaro wouldnt out his friend in the book, cmon. that would be low.)

so to answer the question - well. obviously the answer is no, but it's also yes. no: because if the world is saved anyway, nobody will be able to tell the difference. yes: because if the result comes to pass, they will be misinterpreted as someone they aren't. as a person this isnt ideal. "blade gave up everything for humanity" simply isn't true. but a hero is first and foremost an idea, so maybe they're okay with that, in abstract. the ones who know them will know them. and kenzaki will always be left in pictures, and memories.

"Magical" Girl (Kaede)'s song will basically be named. Well it will be named "Magical" Girl. obviously ..,, her song will be about how a cult affects you and how not everything you see is like that. I've seen ppl on Tiktok romanticise cults by stupid PFP groups like girl?? That's not a cult.....?????,???? Heklp?? Anyway her song also uncovers some other different topics such as abuse and religion. The genre of her song would be a collision here : it would sound like Chemical Girl (industrial, glitch, breakcore) but it would also collide with elements of cute electronic music : a bit of future bass and technopop. But it would be a song like Tone/Negiwave's 'Sense' ..,, so it's kinda like a creepy-cute song. So anyway here's an idea of how "Magical" Girl video will look like.... just a lot of magical girl shows, esp pretty cure layered on top of religious imagery . I think I will also want to include Amane Momose's T1 and T2 songs in the video .... considering "Magical" is literally based off Amane . BUT it will also include some footage from Dokuro-Chan which is a gorey show sooo we gotta be careful . I also want to include a lot of shit but idk which.... maybe crafts layered on top considering when Kaede was in the cult she wanted to be a child. Yeah these are the lines . The song contains a lot of profanity and VERY explicit themes (not to mention the Dokuro-Chan thing) so we need to be careful . To add on to the story the fact that she was in the cult when she was 3 y/o and stopped at 12 because she had 2 get hospitalized is not helping at all (referencing second lyric). So. You're welcome

Her voice should be something cutesy and kid-like so I'm thinking like, Haruka Nana (UTAU) ...? It's all I can get since she's the only suiting option for me

Her design would be falling into the category of the girls' outfits being exaggerated versions of what they were; what Kaede's exaggerated outfit looks like is a magical girl outfit, meanwhile in reality she's wearing a private school uniform, kind of bloodied considering what she went through; elastic bandages, patches and such would be shown on her normal uniform outfit

(Unoriginal) The Stanley parable/Portal 2 AU

I've seen many AUs of TSP and Portal, but most of time I notice them just swapping GLaDOS and Chell with the Narrator and Stanley, so I did what all sane people do, so behold (Cut bc drawings are too big + fun facts):

I tried to swap/include/change as many things as I could, and sorry if Portal 1 is very empty, I don't really know what much else to put

Fun facts about the AU:

the reason NARRaToR is a Lemon it's not bc of Cave's "Don't Make Lemonade" rant, it's actually inspired on another TSP AU made by @/voidsnarrator (check out their acc btw, they're the best)

The bread thing comes from the apartment ending, I was looking through endings to find anyplace where they mention food and could only find that, if anyone knows another ending with better nourishment for Stanley, please lmk 🙏

Unlike Chell, Stanley is straight up mute

it took me a day to find a good acronym for NARRaToR (and I still don't really like it)

The Boss takes Cave Johnson's place but because we don't know how he looks like I decided just to rip his paintings

Timekeeper served a similar purpose to NARRaToR as Wheatley did to GLaDOS, to distract them from murder, but instead of giving bad ideas, he just rambled nonsense about time and how important are people for telling you the time

The adventure core's name is Adeleine and only plays the Following Stanley track from the TSP OST instead of doing whatever tf Rick does on the original game

Following last fact, Timekeeper core's name is James/Jim, Observer core's name is Adam (from Aman) and Curator core doesn't have one

Mariella and Stanley's buckets are the only two ones in the whole facility

Instead of a wheatfield, Stanley is let go into a valley similar to the one in the freedom ending

I like rambling about art process so that's going under the cut:

I'm trying to exorcise the ghost that is "Amane Momose could be dead" from my mind so I can stop thinking about how close my blorbo was to dying so boom- whole animatic about her dying and being dead.

A lot of this was really fun, as you might notice I have a lot of fun framing things so very much an enjoyable experience.

Fun fact: The flowers weren't supposed to be symbolic of anything, they were just generic flowers, and then 1moremilgram-enjoyer made this really good Kotoko post and it in there's flower symbolism breakdown and my brain kind of short-circuited and now they mean things! Flowers are white lilies and baby's breath respectively but I'm not good at drawing plants so it probably looks a bit off.

I feel like the standard of quality for animatics rose gradually over the years and I'm not sure how to feel about that. Does not help my anxiety but ah well I did this in 3 days give me a break.

In the middle of doing this at like...2am there was a sudden quick brownout, which happens a lot where I live but I did not save so I panicked. Luckily opentoonz has autosave and I didn't lose too much but that was still terrifying.

I think Amane Momose "exists" in the times she was most in pain and that makes me want to explode btw.

why hello there anon, i’ll try to explain this as thoroughly as possible! i’ll cut off this ramble into a line break though, because i’ll be talking about some not so pretty subjects. tw for that reason

on the prospect of it being related to trauma, it’s very likely. i had a rough childhood due to abusive parents, so for a good chunk of it, i isolated myself and became extremely chronically online because it was a good coping mechanism. i got really into anime, creepy pasta, twitch, gaming & things like that because they were my escapisms and now even though i’m in my twenties, i still have that same personality bc that’s what shaped me instead of idk, a “normal” social experience.

but essentially all of my comfort characters that i started to obsess over were never once normal to start with. we had pyramid head, the joker, bill cipher, specifically medic from tf2, misa amane & some others, who i now forgot.

going to college partially fixed that because i opened myself up to other weird people similar to me, but unfortunately created a whole new traumatic experience because i got sexually assaulted. ):

so now we enter the new stage of life: navigating my trauma through cReAtiViTy !! and like, it does help a lot. for the first time in my life, i have a place to finally put all of those bad thoughts into a thing that doesn’t actually hurt me for once.

to be clear, i don’t support toxic behaviours and abusive relationships at all, but writing about those things does help me self reflect a little and understand myself more, which my therapist actually encourages, so sure, let’s keep doing that. i do know however that this isn’t for everyone though; such as the repeating fanfic with dark themes and the recurring hurt/no comfort stories, but personally, it does help. idk.

so this all ties back to the types of characters i like and how i utilise their personalities in producing fiction. currently i’m very into sukuna, geto, mahito & kenjaku which are all… very… yeah, um. lacking in the moral compass department. i just figure that they’re already kinda insane or just like bad/evil, in general, so i can use them to explore darker feelings but also twist all that into comfort when i need it (which is when you’ll catch me writing fluff).

i do see this level of coping get criticised on tumblr and tiktok pretty often though, but ah well, it is what it is. i’m getting help for my stuff irl which is a step in the right direction & otherwise regardless of what i write and how i write it, i try to at least make my blog a safe space for people who might feel similar in seeking out such content.

tldr: it’s all trauma’s fault and it’s nice to play pretend with morally depraved characters because they’re not real. 😮‍💨

hi!! I loved hearing your thoughts about ch113!! I am definitely also team I hope in my heart amane and tsukasa are working together lol. one thing that surprised me in 113 was teru, akane, and nene all splitting up, since they’re the only ones we’ve seen who remember the other timeline. I was wondering if there’s anyone you hope or think nene will run into or seek out for help in the coming chapters? or do you think she’ll be on her own for this one? (this is tsutsumi-kurose btw!!)

And that is a WONDERFUL thought! I hadn't considered the implications of them splitting up at all. Yes, I imagine they'll all be getting up to some business one way or another...

Regarding specifically who I'd like Nene to meet, obviously Yugi-sensei! But I have little doubt AidaIro will deliver on that, lol. Oh, and I'd just LOVE for her to meet the rumor Tsukasa-kun too... Which I also have little doubt about... ehm... ...

I do feel like she'd want to bring Kou-kun into all this? If she can, at least. He's on her side after all and he wouldn't be happy about this new world if he knew. That said, Kou and Nene are always teaming up to the point it's gotten to be cliché... and I feel he tends to steal the show from Nene when they're together, too, so I really hope it's something else actually!!!

Someone who could be more useful to Nene is Tsuchigomori, who is not only buddy-buddy with the new Hanako but also the school's resident supernatural record keeper. It's a little shocking since everyone's alive rn but Kamome Academy is still haunted and likely has an entire new cast of Mysteries. 😭 Err...probably, anyway. We can't say for sure but most likely...

Anyway, since Team NTA (Nene Teru Akane) are investigating what was changed in the past so that they can undo it, I bet Tsuchigomori could help if he's willing to share his secrets with Nene. I'm not sure if Nene would be bold enough to ask about that, though, and it'd be risky to incur his wrath without Hanako there to keep him in check. Tsuchigomori doesn't have any reason to like Nene yet, after all...still, I'd love to see more about how him and the Mysteries are doing if we can. :)

Also, she's only cameod so far so that might be the extent of it, but I would love for her to formally meet the new Shijima... I feel it'll only be a short scene, but as a school faculty member maybe she could help point Nene in the right direction? ^_^ Having Nene actually MEET her would be really feelsy, too, and it'd be fun to give Nene a reason to hesitate about doing away with this new timeline altogether.

So ultimately I guess I would say I'm leaning towards Nene being on her own for this one...mostly because there aren't a lot of good options to choose from. >_< And heck, Nene almost never does things alone! I think it's about time she had another solo adventure.

But above all I really just want to be surprised! And AidaIro is generally good about being surprising in a good way. :) Perhaps Nene could team up with someone we haven't even seen yet...? And I'm hoping we get some insight into the new lives of Team NTA and the other characters. ^_^ Considering (almost) everyone is alive rn I'm fully expecting to see Mama Minamoto and get kicked in the feels, lol. Aah!! So exciting!!!
