Why do you not like Alex from BB, like in your opinion, what do you think is wrong with him and how would you fix him.

this is such a complicated question bcuz there isnt anything wrong with him as a CHARACTER he's not unfunny or annoying or anything its just like. okay its very clear that around season eight the writers realized that gene didnt have any friends his own age at school and didnt have ANY male friends he hung out with (not counting peter here bcuz we dont see him in very many episodes although im sure they're casual friends) he really only spends time with his sisters and their friends. they decided that they needed to give him a friend in his grade which would be FINE except they just like introduced him out of nowhere as a way to give gene a Masculine Male Friend and it wasnt like a character we've seen gene previously interact with or a background character he becomes closer with. like yeah technically they did the same thing with courtney but that was in SEASON THREE so it made more sense to introduce new classmates bcuz we hadn't spent a lot of time at their school yet and didnt know everybody. its completely out of nowhere and theyre just immediately like yes we're best friends now. and the next episode everybody acts like alex has been there the whole time. and yeah things can happens off screen but that excuse doesnt really work when THE WRITERS KNOW THAT THIS IS AN ANIMATED TV SERIES AND OFF SCREEN DOESNT ACTUALLY EXIST it just feels like such a forced relationship that they did purely bcuz they felt like they needed to and not because it was natural for gene's character development or personality and that annoys me

ALSO SINCE WHEN HAS GENE BEEN A NERD WHO LIKES PLAYING NERDY MATH WIZARD GAMES

personally i think there were many better ways to introduce a best friend if they wanted to do that (maybe courtney or peter both kids we already know gene is friends with in his grade) or a new kid at school who gene shows around and spends time with over a few episodes (like tina and tammy except not awful) either way u NEED to give their relationship more time to develop. louise and rudy are a great example of this bcuz they werent best friends right away. they casually hung out with each other over a period of time in different episodes and then EVENTUALLY them being closer makes sense bcuz u can tell they really bonded over their adventures vs with gene and alex its like okay here are these two characters they're best friends now. there isnt even chemistry between them if im being honest

yeah i would either introduce him way earlier in the show and give him more episodes where he's casually around gene or use another previously existing background character and give them a few episodes together. honestly i stand by my opinion that peter would've worked really great in alex's place bcuz they already interacted in multiple episodes and were in a band together

as for NOW there isnt really anything they could do to fix alex or make me like him i just think he was a poor writing decision and i would rather they just forget about him tbh

on a personal note in school i was best friends with a kid who reminds me of gene (except a lot quieter and more introverted. very sweet kid) and he didnt have any male friends he exclusively hung around girls (and mee :3) and he grew up to be a gay effeminate fat man so it feels almost like they're trying to erase certain aspects of gene's personality and make him less i dont know uhh gnc in that specific way and make him more of a stereotypical nerd which he has NEVER been. i dont think that was their intention but that kinda rubs me the wrong way too

there isnt anything wrong with liking alex or his character Personally i do not enjoy episodes with him in them and i feel like he was mostly a bad writing decision but luckily they dont bring him into episodes too often (although they didnt seem too interested in using secondary characters at all in season thirteen so who knows)

Are you named after anyone? Actually, funny, kind of yes. But those are my deadnames. Still: my four(yes, 4!) deadnames are two I think great aunts or something, the middle name of my grandma (or great grandma, dont quite remember) AND the fav singer of my dad during the time I was born lol. my chosen name is the male equivalent of my first deadname tho

When was the last time you cried? Today or yesterday. been some hard weeks. loss and grief sure aren't fun (also I got some mint oil in my eyes last night which also kinda made me cry lol)

Do you have kids? no human kids. but two cats (and theoretically a dog, but he lives with my ex); technically my ex and I also inofficially adopted the neighbor trans teenager who has a sh*t family, but I haven't met him in a while sadly

What sports do you play/have you played? when I was 5 I danced ballet for like a year, at 7 I joined a "normal" dance group for kids, but also dropped out after one or two years (both times I dropped out/lost interest was right after my very first official performance lol. just like now in games I am an achievement hunter haha) OH and I took horse riding lessons about two years or so when I was a kid

I only do sarcasm with like one or two very close people who understand me on a level no one else does. my only sarcasm tho is that which I copied from other people over the years (autism is fun yay)

What is the first thing you notice about a person? I'm not sure, but probably the hair? I have great difficulties remembering faces (especially after only one or two meet-ups) and hair has been quite reliable most of my life. also, teeth (because I tend to look at mouths when others speak. a) because I don't like eye contact and b) because I have auditory processing issues)

Blue with a yellow ring around the pupils (I have professional photographs of my irises if anyone is interested lol) BUT it changed a bit over the years. when I was a kid I had more green-ish eyes, then I went the perfect mix between blue and green (my dad has blue eyes, my bio mother green) and then it went more blue and the green became more yellow/golden and wandered more into the middle

Scary movies or happy endings? Happy endings I guess. Tho when they are too happy or fluffy I tend to be annoyed lol

Any talents skills? I don't like the use of the word "talent" because most of the things people see as "talents" aren't actually god-given or whatever but hard trained skills which have taken alot of time and effort to achieve the level of. I like to paint (digitally; mostly with krita, but also with procreate since I got an iPad now)

100% recommend watching the xmen movies, theyre so good. Incredible found family.

Im definitely going to get things wrong because i havent read any xmen comics so i only know little things here and there but here's the basics.

Nightcrawler is a mutant called Kurt Wagner. His birth and what happened to him varies but the general idea is that he is the son of Mystique (Raven Darkholme). She didnt want a baby so she tried to kill him. She threw him off a cliff but Kurt survived. Kurt spent his childhood in a circus in Germany. Originally he grew up quite happily in the circus, being very flexible and acrobatic. However once the circus was bought by another company, he was treated much worse. They insisted Kurt was placed in the 'Freak show' and even kept him in cages. Kurts blue skin, elf-like ears, yellow eyes and long tail were all there from birth however his teleportation powers only kicked in at puberty like most mutations. Kurt was drugged in the circus to prevent him escaping but eventually he did manage to teleport away.

This is where I'll move towards the movie lore because like i said, i dont know much about comics. :]

In the movies, more so apocalypse, Kurt never actually escaped the circus but instead he was sold to mutant cage fighting where he ended up fighting Archangel / Angel (Warren Worthington). He was rescued by Mystique and brought to the X-Mansion where he now lives and works with the xmen.

Some headcanons i have about him:

I could not tell you for the life of me what those little demon Bamf things are. I know theyre the bamfs but i cant explain them. So to make life easier i like to headcanon that Kurt just has a little plushie or two of himself that he absolutely adores.

His tail swishes when hes happy so he has to hold onto it to make sure he doesnt hit anyone because his tail has a mind of its own and he knocks so.. so many things over with it.

When hes standing next to (insert whoever you ship him with here - personally i ship him with Wolverine), kurt will wrap his tail around their leg comfortably to keep himself close.

Kurt had already left school by the time he got to the mansion. He did a few important classes like english and maths but he mostly now just helps teach/watch the younger kids. He likes helping Ororo (Storm) with her classes.

Its fun trying to think of mutations for all of the kids. Like- have you ever watched Sky High (2005)? Highschool au essentially. But imagine a kid whos mutation is just- really sharp teeth. Poor Kurt trying and failing to keep a class of loud and wild kids calm and then getting his tail bitten by the bitey child. He cries. Someone help him.

Im halfway through reading a fic ('How to bang an X-man' by Laughing_Screaming on AO3 *nsfw warning*) and in it Kurt really likes snails. He helps Ororo with gardening and she ends up gifting him 3 pet snails and i think thats adorable.

ALSO IN THE FIC, Kurt sleeps in a hammock rather than a bed because he likes being up high and curling up in it - it reminds him of when he was living on the road with the circus. Its adorable.

Not a headcanon, more of a fact, Kurt is quite religious and proud to be catholic. *tw SH* In the movies he has symbols and patterns all over his body which are self inflicted - 'one for every sin'. Whereas in the comics, Kurt is much more fuzzy and fluffy - having fur rather than just blue skin. People describe his skin to be almost velvety? Or like a peach? And whilst that makes my autistic brain want to gag, it is a cool detail.

Also not a headcanon but Kurt is a nerd. He has an interest in everything to do with pirates. His weapon of choice is a cutlass. Ive never watched it and i dont plan to but he'd probably enjoy that gay pirate show everyone likes at the moment. (OFMD)

ANOTHER GWAINE LANCELOT ESSAY

both gwaine n lancelot r so interesting because..................

altho gwaine has a personality of a jock (and the actions of a clown), he IS pretty smart bookwise. Since he was nobilty, he was probably educated really well, in languages and literature and maths, and all that book stuff. He's one of the few who can read, and speak a few diff languages and knows About Things one would learn from a book. Like YEs? He's also streetsmart, as hes been around a lot, which has obviously meant a ton of interactions with other people. I'm sure gwaine knows to get out of nearly any sticky situation, and he seems like a people person to me. Although, since he was brought up in such a rigid lifestyle, i guess emotions aren't a forte of his, and he often leaves loose ends hanging out, because i dont really think he knows how to work with feelings and the Jazz. Also i dont think gwaine has a lot of common sense, like. i Love the man. But he DOESNT. He's got enough to get by, but sometimes he's a little dumb. He doesn't pick up on small details, unless he's looking for them.

tldr: gwaine seems streetsmart, but he is technically booksmart

ON THE OTHER HAND!!!

altho lancelot has the personality of a nerd (and the actions of a self sacrificing clown), he's VERY smart streetwise. He's grown up in a poor village, and he's been trying to make a name for himself since he was probably very young. He knows how to work with people, not in the dysfunctional way gwaine does, that's because he's in touch with his own feelings. He DOES push them away yes, but it's not complete denial of his emotions, it's more having a balanced and understanding worldview. He's gotten out of literally any situation, and he understands laws and practices (Not that im saying he supports them, he doesn't. He just knows enough about the world to know that everything doesnt have a happy endin.) Lancelot isn't much of an extrovert, he's definitely more intRoverted and reclusive, but he offers friendship, being kind and loyal to anyone who wishes to take it (many people don't). He's a good fighter, but instead of it being a choice, its more so that he's a bit trapped in his situation. Bookwise, lancelot didn't grow up in a noble household, with money and books and teachers, but i'm sure he grew up in a close knit village where bards were common. With tales of heroes that they spun which were extremely interesting, and inspiring to lancelot. Lancelot obvs picks up details (merlins magic amongst others) and that's pretty much how he's stayed alive as some kind of hireable mercenary for a large chunk of his life. He sees details so he doesn't do anything too irrational (or he sees the details and decides to do stupid shit anyway)

tldr: lancelot seems booksmart, but he is streetsmart

I'm 4'11 with super dark brown eyes and hair and a baby face; most people always think  I'm much younger than I actually am (I'm 20, but just look like a forever teen I guess) I've got dreadlocks that go a little past mid back, freckles, beauty marks and light patches all over my body (not sure if its vitiligo or not), and I wear prescription sports goggles instead of normal glasses since the straps make me less likely to lose them, and Im accidentally rough on stuff sometimes

I've got a metric shit-ton of mental illness, so my mental state is Wack™, tho I'll point out my ADHD and Autism since those are my most prominent. Paradoxical is the best word to describe me cuz I can range from feral gremlin memelord to so-quiet-you-forget-Im-there (I accidentally scare people alot cuz of this). Relatively apathetic emotionally, and I can sometimes struggle with social cues, I'm also very childish, hyperactive and immature, and can be blunt and straight forward with my words. I have a trash sense of humor (I'll basically laugh at anything), tho I do enjoy dark, self-deprecating, and/or inappropriate jokes the most. Since most people see me as "ignorant baby", I like fucking with them by just saying the weirdest shit or casually cursing because I can. Honestly, the amount of memes, shitposts, and copypastas that I've memorized just for the sake of a joke, is amazing.

I'm academically smart to a degree, with a leaning towards the sciences, maths, and engineering. Mostly a big psychology and astronomy nerd and really big into art. I've gotta bunch of sketchbooks and folders full of drawings, (mostly character designs), from over the years and too many damn color pencils (that I will continue to add on too, because fuck yeah colors). I'm really into transformers, comics, anime, video games, and true crime. I like to lift weights and have questionable eating habits (forgetting to eat is a problem of mine so I always have snacks on me, and I tend to eat things I really shouldnt; Ex. Chalk) and basically eat like a famine survivor when it comes to food. I practically inhale my food and I tend to get aggressive if someone tries to interact with me while I'm eating or cooking. All and all tho, I'm mostly here to vibe and just live in the moment.

I have a lot of cat-like habits and tend to headbutt, rub up against, and bite and/or lick people who I like; walk on my toes alot; and prefer small spaces over wide open ones. I'm also really flexible, so it's not odd to causally find me weird ass positions. Gets the nyoomies randomly and struggles with volume control (not helped by me being slightly hard at hearing), so I'll usually pace around while talking and making random noises (echolocalia basically, and I'll mostly beep, meow, trill, make Kirby noises "poyo!", etc.,), and also hand flappy! I also like to sing to myself and have a really great range (mostly on the higher end of the spectrum), as well as decent voice acting capabilities! I mirror things alot, so if I interact with someone long enough, I'll subconsciously start mimicking them and their habits (mostly verbal quirks and accents, but physical quirks too sometimes). Very much prefer hot and humid weather and get real tried/hibernate when it gets colder. For that reason, I've got a huge nest of soft blankets, pillows, and stuffed animals.

- he also enjoys watching you cook whenever you do! he tries his best to help but the big guy has no idea how you do it

okay headcanonnnsssss I've put my thinking cap on let's do this.

okay to go with the prompt earlier about cas reading to dean, I'm playing with that and making it into them telling stories. Sam, obviously, the nerd that he is, devours any and all stories he comes across. It wasn't so many when he was with John, for obvious reasons, but as he starts his education once he arrives at Willow Inn he starts reading about all these stories from all these different cultures so of course he shares them with cas and dean (further along the healing process so they're all happy together) and he loves telling them these stories about all these crazy things and ideas and fairytales because these they can understand, unlike all the fancy stuff like science he's learning, and he loves seeing their faces as they sit enraptured and happy as he rants excitedly about the so and so tribe and obviously they're happy because he actually gets to learn this stuff but also its stuff that's so beyond their tiny little world and it's so exciting and Sam is so happy to give them this knowledge because their so responsible about taking care of the inn and him but when he tells them stories he gets to see the excited teenagers learning about distand lands and creatures.

with dean, his stories were the ones he could give to Sam. bedtime stories, made up fairytales, little comedic rhymes to help Sam get to sleep. he didn't think much of them, of course, but he found himself enjoying the peaceful moments where he'd be curled up with Sam, talking about the faraway prince, pinching Sam when he interrupted to question him about the details. he liked to drift off into the worlds after Sam had eventually fallen asleep. perhaps the stories always had a central theme, two brothers going on adventures, but they were full of light and happiness and sometimes there wasn't even any bitterness as they recalled their situation (I'm imagining the stories always starting with the same line or something). once they're settled in at willow Inn together, the bedtime stories stop. dean never thought much of them anyways. Sam, he loved them. he'd tell himself his favourite plots and storylines when he was going to sleep, or when he was upset. and maybe at one point when sam is upset at the willow Inn he asks Dean to tell him a story to calm him down, and dean is so happy that he remembered and still thought of them and they sit there together as Dean begins with that same line, knowing that they don't need to desperately imagine any more.

cas's stories, would come as a surprise to sam and dean I think. there are two kinds. the ones he makes up are simple, based around nature, more poetry than anything as it simply praises the idyll he grew up around. theyre not much stories in the way of entertainment, but sometimes, perhaps when it's particularly cold or wet or miserable and they're all tired, they'll all sit in front of the fireplace and listen to cas's soothing voice as he talks about the meandering rivers and the animals and the trees, and describes the way he sees the world in his own unique way. sam and dean love to catch a glimpse of it too. the other type of story is the one that surprises them. cas, of course, has worked in the inn all his life. it wasn't the busiest, but it still got its fair share of traffic and moreover, his lack of talking led to him overhearing some interesting conversations as he worked. and every once in a while he'll slip a little annocdote into a conversation about a man who was going up the country to search for treasure, or the women who believed she'd found her lover in the old minstrel on the hill. Sam and dean love it, and at first cas is a surprised at how fervently they ask for more details (and probably a little uncomfortable) but as they settle down and they get used to his annocdotes, cas becomes more comfortable sharing his thoughts and opinions and guesses about where they end up, and sam and dean learn to treasure his little quips and thoughts and cas gets to share his experiences of the inn and his little section of the memories and lives the inn has held.

I got carried away in this a little, but hopefully this little headcanon does something to brighten your day :))

cas’s stories make me emotional. u have such a good grip on the characters in the way i think of them it makes me so happy!!! yes yes most of cas’s “stories” would just be him like rambling about the world in a poetic manner...this is so sweet and would be so soothing and they would love it but it is also very funny to me to imagine sam the first time being like tell me a story!!! and cas being like uuuummmm...and then dean being like yeah cas tell us a story it will be fun!!! and then he ends up like monologuing about the migration habits of certain insects in the area. and theyre like. ....what. gvuhij like not that they dont enjoy it for what it is but theyre just like ????????

a sequel to this post because people asked for more and i decided that they shall receive (and also i love writing these)

fair warning, logans a bitter kid, and this isnt as positive and happy as romans post. ive experienced two different ways of being desi, one where i lived in fully asian and indian community and didnt even think id ever feel alone, and another where i moved to a place where i havent met another desi in like 7 years of living here in a 3 hour driving radius. in romans post i played into my first experience and how at home i felt. in the second experience, the one im in right now, i am much more bitter about who i am and not really knowing anyone who gets it anymore. so i play into that A LOT in this. so keep that in mind. (and he will get happier in a future part. m planning on making this into a series)

ok so first off. his name is logan sanders. people (mostly other indians) dont believe him when he tells them. he tells them they dont know indian history. they say they do. he tells them that the british fucked around (quite literally) in india for four centuries so of course english names would stick with that precise wording

sometimes when he’s annoyed enough and doesnt want to explain this for the millionth he defends himself with this russel peters skit (watch it, it’s hilarious) because it describes his family. to a T. 

he grew up in a community with not very many asians, and knew no indians outside his family so he felt a sort of disconnect to his culture

while his grandparents and parents would teach him about indian culture, he felt so distant from it since he knew no one outside his family who was indian, and since he didnt have any siblings or any nearby cousins to hang around with

he had visited india once but he was too young to remember it properly or too remember his cousins

the closest mandir was an hour away so that also limited the amount of indian kids/people he knew

he barely knew hindi because everyone in his family spoke english, especially in public

he felt guilty over the disconnect he felt and would always try to bridge it but would never accomplish this because it he kept losing passion since he rarely saw other people like him in the real world and in the media and he didnt see the point of trying

this all changed in eight grade when he moved next door to the Kumar family in a north indian street of some south asian blocks in an asian community

when his family first moved, the Kumar family invited the Sanders over to welcome them

it turns out the Kumar’s had a son who was the same age as logan

“hi logan! im rohan kumar! but i like going by roman instead of rohan!” 

this introduction pissed logan off 

he was seething because why would this kid who got to have an indian first AND last name change his name to an english one! why didnt he see the value of his name!

he knew right away that such a difference meant they could never be friends 

“im logan sanders, but thats all youll get to know about me because i see no use associating myself with someone as... well, ignorant, as you”

roman decides to whip out one of the swears his cousins taught him and whisper shouts “who are you calling ignorant, bhenchod?” 

 it became clear to him that this was new turf, and people on this new turf must be speaking hindi. and that he was the ignorant one if he couldnt talk in hindi. he made a vow to learn it as fast as he could to make sure this roman kid wasnt better than him

but, logan grits his teeth and says “you, and i know it must be true because you were too dumb to understand me the first time”

this evidently struck a sore spot in roman because he didnt fight back but just stalked away. logan smiled slightly, happy to have won that argument

logan asks his grandpa to teach him hindi and his grandpa gets super excited

they start lessons immediately and despite barely hearing it growing up, it’s as if his brain was made for this because he picks the language up amazingly fast and in a months time, while not able to speak back yet, he can understand most casual conversation

his first diwali in basically little india is the most magical thing ever

diwali at his old home was very quiet because there wasnt anyone around to celebrate with

everyone is so happy in this new home however. everyone is dressed up and all the houses are lit up and there are diyas everywhere and he doesnt want to admit it but the kumar’s have the best rangoli on the street and it’s because of roman and he knows roman did it because sometimes he’d stare out of his bedroom window while doing homework and have a perfect view of roman delicately working on it for two weeks

(the kumar’s front porch had been covered with tarp waiting for diwali to make sure romans precious rangoli wasnt stepped on or ruined. when it’s finally let up, everywhere where there could be art, there is. it’s insane how good at colors roman is, logan thinks)

diwali morning: 

he fights his parents because he doesnt want to miss school for diwali because americans dont have a day off for it. his parents set the clocks in the house ahead to make him think he overslept so he would skip school. (logan didnt know that his parents had submitted an excused absence form for religious reasons and that the school was very understanding. he thought it would be like his old school where he wouldnteven bother trying since he wasnt christain and the school was lkinda discriminatory)

they spend the morning in mandir and it’s nice. for once he doesnt feel different from his peers because he goes to mandir and not church or synagogue. he feels at home.

diwali afternoon:

the afternoon is spent with frantic cleaning and cooking and digging around for the diya’s that were still in boxes, packed away from when they moved

logan offered to find them all to continue with a diya science experiment he started two years prior. his theory was that the diya’s were multiplying and there were more each year despite no one buying anymore

this held true, because even though he could only find half of their diya collection, it was somehow more than the entire diya collection of two years prior. 

diwali evening:

theres a big potluck and everyone in the neighborhood is out talking to each other, looking at the decorations at everyones houses, eating samosas, and playing with sparklers. 

logan feels content

he makes a new resolve to learn more about hinduism. if this is what ti was supposed to be, then he never wanted to be away from hinduism. 

he looked at the metaphors and symbolism in everything and finally understood what his dad meant he told logan that hinduism is just science written in poetry and that string theory is written in the ancient texts

middle school in this new town is so much better than middle school in his old home. why?

a. doesnt get bullied for being a nerd

b. doesnt get called gay slurs 

c. the classes are harder 

d. much less racism

e. all of the above

soon enough, logans asking his grandpa to teach him how to cook Indian food

Logan spends the day burning dosas and making lopsided rotis

(eventually he gets the hang of it, and a he'll be cooking food for an infuriating Indian boy ;) ;) psst it's roman)

Coming out isn't an option for logan

He knows that his parents arent really religious enough to really look into hinduism and see that no, gays are not bad

But they are traditional and conservative enough to be homophobic

not homophobic as in spewing hate with the westboro baptist church at a pride parade

But homophobic as in "the gays are fine as long as they don't do it in front of me" kinda thing

So Logan stays quiet

the closet kinda sucks but i mean what can he do

it’s safer inside, and he as illogical as wishing is, he wishes that people would use their brains and realize there’s nothing wrong with gay

anyway

in school logan makes his first desi friend, who was dubbed as anxiety years ago and cant seem to get rid of the nickname and now has a whole complex about his name so logan doesnt know his name

logan and anxiety meet in the school library: logan studying and anxiety hiding

people dont like anxiety

especially non-indian kids

surprise surprise it’s an old buddy called racism, but anxiety’s story is for another time

(but even though no one really likes anxiety, whenever racist shit goes down, it has to go through roman)

so logan and anxiety become fast friends

and they make fun of roman (a+ bonding)

logan claims that roman is a hypocrite for changing his name to an english one while being so immersed in indian culture

anxiety doesnt dispute this, but says he has a past with roman

a past that involved getting stuck with the name anxiety

again, another story for another time

one day, when logan and anxiety are eating lunch they see roman destroy some homophobes who throw around the word f*g and keep calling caitlyn jenner, bruce jenner

logans chest surges

he’s all like “what?? emotions?? pride at roman?? is he better than me for being so open and standing up for what he believes in??”

gay panic basically

but logan masked it well and pushed it away

the next day roman comes to school with a pride patch on his jean jacket

logan feels like he cant breathe

logan is supremely jealous of roman.

he can be gay in peace

he can pretend not to be indian in a way that benefits him

and he’s not affected by stereotypes in the same way?? like what does this kid not have

and by stereotypes i mean

roman is the complete opposite of all indian and desi stereotypes: loud, flamboyant, theatrical

logan’s personality is exactly how the stereotypes are. he’s nerdy and likes science and math and it seems like he cant escape the stereotypes. they follow him. and he feels guilty that he likes science and math and is nerdy. 

as illogical as it is, he wishes he was different from how he is

but logan later learns that there are more than just his perspective on being desi and that every desi kid growing up faces challenges about it that are different than his, causing them to experience being desi differently

and logan will accept that, in another story at another time

for now, he’s just bitter. and as illogical as it is, he wishes the world was better

my biggest inspiration was my speech and drama teacher!! i love u miss macuha!!! one time i was crying about her leaving and she grabbed me by the shoulders and told me to never back down and keep doing what i’m doing and that some day i’ll be a great performer and i bawled on her lap she’s an angel and to this day her words still haunt me!! i never felt the reward a teacher reaped from seeing a student reach their full potential

i like all of my sisters but they can get very frustrating at times i think we stand better now than we did as kids

i met sweetlana on the strokes tumblr tinychat back when they had a roaring fandom and we discovered that we’re both from chicago and we’d talk about silly things and we lost touch for a while but then we reconnected and she’s so darling!!! she would show me her paintings of the blues brothers and we’d talk about our hopes and wishes and now i realize we’ve been doing that for 7 years!!! all we do is exchange selfies and drawings and fantasize about crushes !!!i love her! i can’t imagine not knowing her and never meeting her!

bruno;(jarod joseph) 21, junior, graphic design major, psi delta social chair. originally from australia but lived in new york part of the time, too bruno is literally everyone’s friend. there’s no making an enemy out of this guy, he’s genuine, sincere and really fucking nice. also really high ALL the time, likes to draw and paint, really into grafitti like wants to be the next bansky and shit. when he was young his parents died and he was adopted by his godparents aka luna and rocky’s parents and he grew up with them extremely protective of both of them, luna is LITERALLY HIS rock like he would be lost without her and he loves rocky more than air like its the BROMANCE to end all bromances. it’s hard to see him in a low mood. very sensitive, really in touch with his feelings and shit, will literally give you the shirt off his back, super passionate about mashed potatoes honestly. if you’re a nice person, bruno is your friend and if you’re not a nice person he’s going to try anyway

true; (ricky whittle) 25, senior, pre-med major,epsilon kappa tau vp, spent a lot of his time in paris before going to college, he chose to defer his first year but after a bad motorcycle accident he ended up starting very late anyway grumpy old man that would be walter mathau to shame. lived in paris for a few years where he met the LOVE of his life holy shit, after she left he got into a pretty bad motorcycle accident that fucked with his leg so now he walks with a cane and takes a lot of pain pills.  cynical as all hell, rarely smiles, mean to everyone except for his sister, probably still has a vcr and a member’s only jacket because he is SO behind the times. studying to be a doctor, only rushed greek because of his parents and his little sister hope, his older sisters are extremely driven and successful and he feels the need to be too, hard living in their shadow their parents impress so many values on them. has been less miserable nowadays but still just has a permanent raincloud over his head. think dr. house meets munch from svu honestly.

bellamy; (caitlin stasey) 20, junior, astrophysics major, tau alpha zeta pres, softball team, from new iberia, la, your basic human trash can, she’s a slob, crass and hardly cares what anyone thinks of her both personally and physically, thinks she’s hilarious as hell but is really just super lame and stupid as hell, meme queen, really gross, makes a lot of stupid rash decisions “for the vine” even though vine is dead now, fierce friend, HUGE know it all, she might act stupid as all hell but she’s actually brilliant and is that sort of asshole that will not hesitate to correct you, space gay, loves looking at stars and definitely thinks aliens are real, really close to her brothers and her cousins, family is everything, lil cutie farm girl that loves all sorts of science and agriculture, has had a her heart broken a time or two but is really good at pretending everything is okay because that’s just what she does, laughs everything off. fiercely loyal friend, hoping to be sponsored in life by taco bell one day.

jonah jackson; (max irons) 21, junior, mathematics major, kappa alpha lambda member, co-captain of the basketball team from florence, ky extremely insufferable at times, arrogant jackass has been called a fuckboy but it’s not really all that fitting. he goes by jackson because his dad’s first name is jonah and he refuses to have anything to do with him, papa dahl ditched the fam when his younger brother was born and his mom took up two-three jobs to put food on the table which means he took the role of caretaker, exhausting him when he was younger but he’s really loyal and reliable. super poor and worries about what other people will think of this, here on an academic scholarship but fears being pegged as a gasp! nerd so he tells everyone it’s actually a basketball scholarship, thinks he’s charming af, natural flirt, obnoxiously good at math, really hard hard working and dedicated but loves to have fun, just all around garbage sap boy honestly
