Timeline: Reader is constantly pushing themselves to come up with new choreography for the upcoming album of SKZ, Hyunjin and reader are in a relationship, and reader finally breaks down and isolates themselves because of exhaustion. Hyunjin spends the night with them and draws with them, and cuddles and falls asleep with them.

Setting: Practice, Dinner, Readers dorm

Word Count: 967

The music was loud in their ears, SKZ was practicing for their next tour coming up in a few weeks. All of the members were exhausted, but your exhaustion was greater and yet no one knew it. Mainly because you'd practice extra just to keep yourself busy.

You were in charge of coming up with the choreography with Lee Know for the extra song the group had added to their album. You were so tired, your body ached in pain and you were blinking constantly.

Lee know had checked on you a few times, just to make sure you'd be drinking enough water, and taking enough breaks, but you'd insist that you were fine. You hadn't slept much the night before. Hyunjin, your partner of 7 months, was worried about you. Although he wasn't the best at expressing his emotions, he worried about you regardless.

Finally, when practice was over, the group had decided to have dinner together. You were too tired to be social, your head pounded and your body hurts like hell. So you kindly said goodnight to the group and took your dinner to your room.

Hyunjin watched you go, he rested his head on the table and tried to rest, he said as also exhausted,but he knew he had to be there for you.

"Hyunjin?"

He lifted his head and fluttered his eyes and moved his hair out of his eyes,

"Mmh?"

Changbin looked at him and then moved his eyes towards your room. Hyunjin looked at your door and then breathed gently. He then smiled at Changbin and stood up and walked to his own room.

Hyunjin grabbed his artbooks and pencils from his room and walked to your room and knocked quietly. You were quiet, your heart was pounding and you felt tired, but restless. Things were difficult, you almost wanted to give up.

You looked up at your door and stood up quietly hugging your security stuffed ferret. Hyunjin's skzoo animal was a ferret, and he gave a stuffed version to you to cuddle with when he wasn't around.

You walked to your door and opened it just a bit, you saw Hyunjin holding a few sketchbooks and pencils. He knew you love to draw, your eyes widened and then you opened the door a bit more so he could see you.

Hyunjin's heart thumped in his chest, not only did he think you were the most adorable girl in his life, you looked so so cute. He longed to kiss your cheeks, and play with your hair.

You stood in your doorway, hugging the soft ferret plush, your hair trailing down your back. You were in your pajamas, with soft socks on.

"Hi darling."

You waved quietly, Hyunjin's eyebrows furrowed as he realized you were most likely nonverbal. He tilted his head and gave you a soft smile, "Baby, do you want to draw with me? We can cuddle after?"

Your eyes shined and you jumped up and down a few times, nodding your head quickly. Hyunjin chuckled, "Can I come in?" He kept his voice soft, he didn't want to scare you.

You nodded and opened your door more to let him in the room. Your room has a soft sunset glow to it, cute string lights hanging from the walls, your bed filled with soft blankets, pillows, and stuffed animals.

You giggled and waddled to your bed and Hyunjin followed you and sat on his knees in front of your bed and set a sketchbook on your bed in front of you. You laid on your belly and started to doodle in the sketchbook, and so did hyunjin in his.

He drew roses on his paper, and you kicked your legs quietly as you giggled and continued to draw, Hyunjin watched you and chuckled. He then started to draw you with roses in your hair. He'd hoped you liked the photo.

The two of you continued drawing for a long while, and he started to color his drawing. Eventually, when you finished your drawing, you showed it to Hyunjin and he smiled.

"It's beautiful darling, like you!"

You blushed and smiled, and then you reached with grabby hands towards him, he chuckled and crawled up on your bed and wrapped his arms gently around you. You snuggled your face into the crook of his neck.

"What did you draw?"

You murmured, Hyunjin smiled and then let go of you for just a moment and picked up his sketchbook and showed you his drawing.

It was you

You were wearing a flower crown made out of beautiful roses, and you were sitting cross legged and holding your ferret plush, you blushed and hugged Hyunjin.

He smiled and hugged you back, "You're beautiful my darling. I love you so so much." You kissed his forehead and he chuckled.

You curled up in a ball by his side, and he snuggled you, wrapped his arms around you and rested his chin on the crown of your head, humming softly.

"Let's rest baby, I can tell we're both exhausted."

You nodded and hugged him like a koala bear, Hyunjin held you by your lower back and thighs and you cuddled with each other for a long while.

"Mmmmh."

You breathed gently and Hyunjin snuggled closer to you, and the two of you fell asleep in each other's arms.

I wish I could've wrote a little bit more for hyunjin, but I've been so exhausted lately, and am struggling with writers block, please forgive me 😭
