It’s an easy enough manoeuvre. Turn around quickly enough to unsettle the attacker, knock the knife out of his hands and gain the upper hand. James has done it plenty of times.

He’s rather surprised when he ends up on his back, hands pinned above his head, and a knife to the throat.

The owner of the knife is… well.

He’s beautiful. There’s no other word for it. James almost wants to be annoyed about just how lovely the face sneering down at him is, but how can one be upset at a night sky for the beauty of its stars?

I need to know about Felicity!! I love Derek route so so much

When did she realize the crush? How'd they handle the distance in step 3? How close is she to the family?

I also love the Derek route !! Felicity is a person with essentially no filter as a child/teen, which is sort of what lead to her getting along with Cove so well. In step two she's unsure of herself because of her medical issues, but she is not unsure about other people. She gets a pretty good read on Derek right away, and she's always liked him. Because she's always been blunt, it's not a secret– She can tell he likes her too, so she doesn't really understand the issue. She does eventually learn and accept though that Derek is just not ready. That's why he's the one to confess in step four actually– It's a weird decision considering Step 2 Felicity, but she has resigned herself to waiting for him, and she's okay with that.

She's definitely upset about the step 3 distance, but she loves him– If that distance will help him get what he wants, she wants him to take it. He deserves it.

She LOVES Derek's family. She calls Cove her brother and Cliff her dad from step 2 forward, but she's always been really attached to Derek's brothers (especially Jorge), and she thinks it's funny that his parents would make like little jokes about them dating when they were kids. They make it clear that she has a place with them, and that's all she really wants.

Switching to the Isip-Mendoza/Feng-Cooper* household, Malaya and Casey take Lilia to the Financial district in San Myshuno to visit her great-grandparents Lily and Victor Feng. Malaya shows Lilia off to her great-grandma (and namesake) Lily, and she cooes over the baby. "She's so beautiful." Lily says, chucking Lilia under the chin and making her giggle.

While Malaya takes a nap, Casey works on teaching Lilia to sit up, and then gives Lilia a nap. Unfortunately, Lilia couldn't get to sleep, so I built a mini nursery in Casey's grandpa Victor's study, giving him some space for his desk but adding a crib, couch, and some baby stuff. Casey puts her down in the crib and soothes her to sleep, which worked for 5 game minutes before she woke up and I was like well. 🥴😅

Hank and Simon get married. Who's the best man, who's the maid of honour, who's drunk at the reception, who makes a scene, who (jokingly or not) speaks up or forever holds their peace?

Vision to all of the above.

Okay in all serious I do think Simon would bring Vision as his best man/maid of honour (I believe in Vision's ability to do both), but Hank is more complicated for me because he has sort of become separated from all of his friends over the past 10 years, even outwidth of Krakoa. His relationship with Bobby has long since fallen through. I don't need to explain him and Scott. Warren also has become alienated from his friends throughout the years and I don't think he and Hank have ever really reconciled. Things with Jean are difficult. Ororo electrocuted him in the back and helped set up that stupid trail thing. Like, who are Hank's friends? Actually??

I don't really have an answer, but I am leaning towards Kurt, or maybe Rictor; him and Hank were close during X-Factor. I also quite like the idea of Laura being a maid of honour, as Hank is one of the very few scientists she trusts.

Drunk at the reception....... Janet definitely feels like the type to drink too much at weddings, to me. But she's having fun, so it's fine.

Who makes a scene? Logan, I feel. Either because he doesn't think Hank should be able to experience happiness or because he doesn't like Simon very much. Both feel like they make sense. Bobby, possibly, because how the hell did Hank get gay married before him???

And I think Eric would time things to burst in at that moment if they did do a "speak now" thing. Because he has no sense of self preservation and simply must ruin Simon's day. They'll have a fun team up beating whatever rag-tag group of villains he's assembled this time, I'm sure.

Or else you won't get episode 2 and further at all :) But ofc, other advice/criticism is always welcome! (Just so I can fix that for any future releases/batch, if they happen)
