I’m sorry for all the requests but Dr.stone brain rot is killing me 😭:
May I order a headcanon (once facking again) where their s/o’s family was extremely poor in the past, so when Ryusui made currency they spent the least amount of money, rarely eating out of habit and trying to not make the same mistake their family did before?
If there was a Tsukasa part I believe that would only fuel his anger more for the rich and greedy ngl 😭
Anyways, if you do my request once again. Thank you from the absolute bottom of my heart! And remember to always take care of yourself pookie <3
- Sincerely, 🍙 Anon
Reader’s Family was Poor in the Past
Hi!!! Thank you for the request! :) and do remember to take care of yourself too! Sorry this is so late to when you sent this in 😭 there is so much in my inbox, I jump around.
I chose Senku, Gen, Tsukasa, and Ryusui for this.
Senku Ishigami
He wasn’t too concerned with what everybody was doing, but your behavior doesn’t go unnoticed.
He watched as you picked through almost thousands of drago and only spent a few, and it almost seemed like you were scared to.
Ryusui had practically thrown drago at you because you were nearby and he complimented you and gave you plenty of money, so why were you spending SO cautiously like you were down to nickels and dimes? (I know nothing about Yen so I don’t know if there is an expression equivalent in Japanese)
You have nothing to really save the money for, so why were you debating so hard over spending it on a shirt. You wanted the shirt, didn’t you?
Eventually, he’d found out from somebody that knew you that your family was poor. He had thought something like that must have been the case, but now he knows for sure.
He’d likely encourage you to spend a bit more. Either that, or he’d bluntly tell you there is no reason to keep the money so close to you anymore.
Gen Asagiri
If he had that much money, he’d be blowing it.
You had thousands of drago that Ryusui had just handed you. And you were clutching onto it like you’d be robbed of it and be left for dead without it if you loosen up just a little.
You hesitated to get cotton candy, despite how much you said you missed the taste.
He watched you and soon noticed your behavior was like those who were less fortunate to have to ration to survive.
You didn’t need to do that here, the money isn’t that important. At the end of the day, the hunters in the kingdom of science would bring home food rather people paid them for the meat or not.
The community doesn’t run off of money, so your behavior is unnecessary. So he’d probably talk you out of it.
He’d come stand beside you, talking to you softly.
“Money isn’t that important here. You don’t need it to pay for a house. And the beasts of people we have here do the hunting for us, and never once have they asked for money. Nor would they deny you food if you couldn’t pay. You can save some… but maybe spend half? Plus…” he leans in to whisper, “Ryusui would gladly pay for you if it ever came to it. I’m sure a man like him will never run out of money.”
Tsukasa Shishio
Dragos have been around for a while, but you’re still clutching onto them like it’s life or death.
Francois doesn’t make you pay them for food. The hunters (him, Hyoga, etc) don’t make you pay them for meat or anything.
So your behavior has got to be engraved into you.
He might be on the side of kingdom of science, but deep down, this rise of currency and capitalism bothers him.
watching you struggle to let go of money makes him angry.
The world they used to live in had brought you to this point, and that pisses him off.
He knows what that’s like. He fought for money. He became famous for money. All for money for Mirai. Just so his sister would live.
He had to pay people to keep his sister alive.
And old men paid for the rights to land and he had no grounds to even do anything about getting beat down by one for picking seashells. That man OWNED those seashells.
He doesn’t know exactly what you went through, but he’s got an idea.
He doesn’t say much, but he makes sure to give you plenty of food and he’ll buy things for you and give them to you.
Honestly he’s so sweet.
Ryusui Nanami
Spend money, get bitches. Yk. (This man would hate the word bitches for sure. But I had to say this. Like side note, but he’s an advocate for the word to be offensive when leaving a man’s mouth)
Ryusui gave you thousands of drago and stepped back. He expected you to spend it, give to the economy, etc.
But you held onto it like you were gonna need it soon.
He doesn’t really know what that’s like. He’s always had lots of money.
Well, once he had a smaller allowance, but even that would be a lot to most other people. He doesn’t realize this so much, not until he sees you.
He’s confused at first.
What else is there to do in life than get all that one wants when they want it? Get your money up, keep your money up, spend your money up. Yk. The 3 pillars to life. (This is not what they are)
He gives you more money.
But you try to deny it.
He insists. Then he watches you clutch onto it like you’ll need it all in an hour.
He probably goes over to encourage you. Telling you to see things how he sees it.
And then you probably explain why you just can’t. You’re scared you’ll end up like your family was as a kid.
He begins to see what you mean, and he’ll probably spend some money on you.
“Don’t be scared. There isn’t anything to worry about money about here. Even if everything had a cost soon, I’d pay for whatever you needed. And all these people would surely do you a favor even if.”

Dr. Stone x Reader
You Flinch Because of Them
Character/s: Tsukasa, Hyoga
Warnings?: Flinching 🤷‍♀️ not anything that should be triggering, more of a hurt comfort type fic 👍
‼️Also, spoilers for season 3 in Hyogas part‼️
💛- read as platonic
Tumblr media
Tsukasa
- It’s known that Tsukasa is a very nice and charismatic guy. And honestly, ya, he is.
- But you have to admit he’s still a bit intimidating to be near him. The man can kill wild animals with his bare hands, that’s crazy!
- Because of this knowledge, you try to keep your distance. You would never want to accidentally get on his bad side.
- Of course Tsukasa noticed this but he couldn’t understand why you avoided him.
- He knew you didn’t hate him. Why else would you be nice whenever you two would have a small chat?
- There was tension between you guys and he didn’t like that. So he thought the best way to solve this is to have a private conversation…. In the forest… no one to see. Ah yes, this totally isn’t freaking you out at all!
- Not only were you already tense from him bringing you out here alone but a wild animal showed up and attacked.
- It wasn’t a big deal, Tsukasa dealt with it easily.
- After the sudden scare, he turned toward you and lifted a hand to give you a head pat. He paused, seeing you suddenly flinching away, and everything made sense.
- “Oh, I see.”
- His hand dropped to his side and he took a step back to give you space.
- There’s not much that he can change about himself to make you feel at ease, he knows this. But he still tries to be more mindful, slower, when you’re around.
- “Please let me know if there’s anything I can do, I don’t want to let my appearance stop us from knowing each other.”
Tumblr media
Hyoga
- Finally, the fight with Ibara has ended. And the Kingdom of Science had found an ally with the villain Hyoga.
- It was a wobbly alliance, but you had to admit it turned out just fine
- Even though Hyoga fought for most likely selfish reasons, there was still a spark of admiration for the man
- Before, during the Stone Wars you couldn’t help but be amazed when he held his spear. He just looked so cool!
- And of course this made you want to learn too.
- Asking to be trained by him was nerve wracking and you weren’t sure if he’d accept. But surprisingly, he agreed. Anyone is welcome to learn as long as they train correctly.
- And now here you both are, alone in the training room. The others had taken a break but you wanted to push yourself just a bit more; you were finally making progress.
- Hyogas ways of training definitely weren’t for the weak hearted. You’ll have many bruises and blisters by the time the day’s over.
- Suddenly, your balance was swept from beneath your feet and you landed on the hard floor boards with a thud
- Hyoga moved his spear and for a moment you thought he would hit or stab you with it. A random reminder of how cruel he once was
- Your arm quickly went to block your face for… nothing?
- “That won’t do. How do you expect to fight against your opponent if you freeze up?”
- When you let your arm down, Hyoga had his hand out for you to take.
- “I won’t ask why, but it’s best we take a break.”
- And that’s not an option, he will make you take a break.
- He won’t bring it up, and he won’t treat you any different. More so keeps it in mind to try not to let it happen again.

Since forever [Alpha Chrome x omega reader]
Tumblr media
Masterlist
Recommendations
One shot
Word count: 2254
summary: Y/n has been Chorme's best friend since forever, as such she grew up wishing that she and Chrome would be mates, however Chrome grew up in love with Ruri and wished for her to be his mate.
-----
For as long as Y/n can remember she and Chrome have always been friends, something that would be normal since the village wasn't that big, but Y/n and Chrome were best friends. Always together. Both always there for each other. Y/n repeatedly running away from training with her brothers, Kinro and Ginro, to explore and hunt rocks with Chrome. She was there all the time. Taking care of him when sick, cheering him up, always being there no matter what the people in her village said. She loved being with Chrome. It was just so right. She came to love being afraid of thunderstorms, this was because as soon as Chrome found out, he was always there, as soon as a cloud was spotted he was by her side. Offering his embrace as shelter and she loved it.
She was afraid she was being foolish and thought she knew what love was. Yet what else could it be if not love? Because she was always there and if it wasn't love it wouldn't hurt. If it wasn't love it wouldn't hurt like a thousand knives when Chrome trusted her with his passion for Ruri. And it certainly wouldn't bring him to tears as Y/n watched Chrome grow with his passion for Ruri.
But Y/n was always there. And so she listened. She heard how Ruri's eyes looked like the sea and her hair shone in the sun, how lovely she was, how good she smelled, and how angelic her voice was.
It was when the tasting of the plant came that Y/n was flooded with hope, Chrome said it was spicy, but to her it was sweet. They were alpha and omega. They could be mates. That could be why Y/n loved him from such an early age and everything with him seemed so right.
A short hope that was shattered when she heard Ruri say it was sweet. Omega. Anguish flooded her as she saw Chrome's eyes sparkled with joy and hope. He must have been thinking the same thing she was. Alpha and omega. With the difference that the omega was Ruri. And Y/n accepted. Ruri was better suited, she had everything that Y/n didn't, she would be the priestess and next to her Chrome would be the village chief. She would be a better mate, over all because she had something that Y/n would never have. Chrome's heart.
And once again she was there for him. Listening to him fantasize about him and Ruri being mates and the life they could have. Their dreams of the future.
When Senku showed up with a cure for Ruri, Y/n and everyone else gave it their all until she was finally healed. It was after Hyoga's attack on the village that happened, Gen threw out a very direct hint 'Chrome is very dedicated to what he loves. I think any omega what you would like to have as an alpha don't you think Y/n?' it might have seemed like an innocent question to anyone, but Gen was a mentalist. And at that moment she knew that Gen knew of her feelings for Chrome, for a while he didn't mention anything and Y/n was grateful.
It was about a week later when Chrome came to Y/n at night, falling into tears the moment he hugged her, knocking them both down on Y/n's bed. And it stayed that way for a while. With Chrome crying his whole self out while Y/n hugged him, stroking his hair waiting patiently for him to calm down. As they get older, their scents start to develop and Y/n released his scent in waves of comfort to try and help Chrome. When this one calmed down he dropped the bomb 'Ruri and I kissed' He took it all in Y/n to hold back his tears, however before she could ask why he was crying since everyone knew that the kiss between mates just felt right and they would just know Chrome spoke again 'She's not my mate. And it wasn't even necessary for her to tell me. I could feel it myself, it didn't feel right. It didn't feel right in the slightest.' Y/n hugged Chrome more tightly 'I'm sorry Chrome'
It was true, Y/n really was sorry. If Ruri wasn't Chrome's mate then it was probably her. But she knew, it was Ruri that Chrome wanted and mate or not she couldn't compare herself to Ruri at all. She just wanted Chrome to be happy, but because of her fault he never would be. All because she was his mate.
That night Chrome fell asleep in Y/n's arms as she poured out all her love in the form of affection. She would love it if she hadn't been born this way. In the middle of the night Y/n awoke to a burst of scent. It was Chrome. For some reason it had presented itself, unlike omegas that presented themselves in heat alphas simply "exploded in hormones" and about six months later the routine would appear. With that Y/n eventually fell asleep in tears, for with Chrome's scent fully revealed she was sure. Chrome was her mate. But he didn't want her.
As time went on Chrome got better. On the other hand, Y/n began to be teased constantly by Gen. Chrome began to notice how Y/n constantly blushed at something Gen said, all the teasing and how the two eventually grew closer, maybe Gen was her alpha? That thought bothered him deeply and stopping to think about it further he had never speculated about who his best friend's mate would be. It was supposed to be someone from the village as she had once told him that she suspected who it might be, but had never shared who it was. But she only suspected.
Now with Kaseki's granddaughter as Senku's mate they knew that her mate could be from outside the village. It could be Gen.
Chrome decides that he would ask who this person from the village was. Of course the idea wouldn't bother him like the idea of it being Gen.
'Y/n?' Chrome found her near a rocky area near the mountain, she had the hobby of making paints out of flowers and painting on the rocks the most beautiful and varied designs. Sitting down next to her he says 'Can I ask you a question?' 'Sure' she replies without even taking her eyes off the huge rock wall 'Who is your alpha?' Surprising her with his question Y/n runs his finger all over the painting and makes a huge scratch 'I don't know' 'Bullshit. When we were younger you said you suspected who it might be. I wanted to know who you suspected'
'It doesn't matter' 'How does it not matter?' 'It doesn't matter'. Y/n insists and gets up to leave, but Chrome stops her by holding her wrist and insists 'How does it not matter Y/N?' Turning to him with tears in her eyes, some of them already shed she explains 'He want another omega, not me' Chrome frowns 'How do you know that?' 'Because he told me!!So it doesn't matter who it is much less that I love him with everything I have. Because everything I have isn't enough ok? So please let's not talk about this again' Y/n releases herself from his grip and leaves him there with his own thoughts.
What idiot would say he wanted another omega to his own mate?
The change happened over the winter and Chrome just wanted to kick himself for such stupidity. During that time he managed to get over Ruri, however he fell flat on his face by y/n. His best friend who was always there for him, now that there was no longer Ruri in his head it seemed that Y/n was glowing and Chrome realizes everything he couldn't see before. Worst of all was that he could now see that he never loved Ruri and only called her that because he didn't know any stronger feelings. But now he knew and he loved Y/n, his friend who had the world's biggest jerk as her alpha. If he didn't want her then maybe he could have a chance right? Chrome shakes his head to scare those thoughts away. She said she loved him, it would be selfish of him.
Finally one day while working with Senku on the phone a smell filled the air and Chrome knew. Mate. That was all that was going through his mind and with a simple look Senku understood. He had to go. As he made his way back to the village his thoughts were clouded by memories of Y/n.
As he followed the scent was getting closer and closer to his own, as he entered he followed the scent to the room meant for Y/n's rut. He knew very well where it was, as children they played there a lot and even after it was known that she was an omega they spent several nights there just talking and snuggling in each other's arms.
When he walked in and saw her there he was sure and everything finally fell into place in his mind.
Y/n was his mate. The omega he loved was his mate. Not only that, but she had been in love with him for years and all Chrome knew how to do was fantasize about another omega before his mate and even cry in his arms lamenting that his mate was not another. Leaving it to his imagination that he would never want her even if they were mates.
Chrome's tears fall like a river. He could never make up for all the pain he brought her. He didn't even deserve her.
Y/n looks at the door when she is overcome by Chrome's delicious smell. Just the smell of him was enough to soothe her pain. However, another huge kind of pain came when she saw Chrome's tears.
'I'm sorry' Chrome couldn't believe what he was hearing, he was the one who should be apologizing 'If it wasn't for me it would surely be Ruri. I know I'm not the one you want as a mate, but please forgive me. I'm sorry I'm sorry' Y/n's vision was so covered in tears that it didn't allow her to see into the room as she begged for forgiveness.
On the other hand, Chrome had never been so horrified in his life. An idiot was little to describe him. Here he stood before the omega he loved and was his mate, watching her cry and beg for forgiveness for being his mate. But that was it, he loved her and she loved him and even if it wasn't much he would give it his all to at least never see her suffer again.
He soon lands just above her remaining just a few sentiments away from her face and with just as many tears in his eyes 'Forgive me you for not seeing. Until recently I was so blinded by my idiotic passion for Ruri that I couldn't see. I couldn't see that I already had my mate with me all this time, I couldn't see that I was already loved or that I loved her and so I only made her suffer. I made her suffer so much that she believes that not even being my mate. I'm sorry mega. I love you I swear I love you and I am not saying this because you are my mate. I was so bad when I realized I was in love with you and I thought you were not my mate. How the hell could I have thought that? Everything with you was always so right because it was always you'
Chrome closes the gap between them and deposits a soft but passionate kiss on Y/n's lips. And nothing has ever been so right. Leaning his forehead against Y/n's, Chrome smiles 'it feels so right because you are my mate and I love you. I love you for you. I promise, I promise that if you let me I will be the best alpha in the world. I will make you the happiest omega in the world I promise' this time it is Y/n who kisses him but in a deep way and Chrome returns with the same intensity. When they part Y/n says 'I am already the happiest omega in the world. Because I have you as my alpha and you want me.
More tears fall from Chrome's eyes, he lies down on the nest, pulls her to his chest hugging her tightly and kissing her forehead 'I know the first heat is mostly pain, so I will stay here with you, I will mark you and then it will hurt less and pass faster. Then we can wait for another heat or as many as you want to mate and all that stuff, I really don't care. I just want to see you happy' Y/n laughs kissing Chrome's neck and he blushes 'You are a perfect alpha Chrome'
She was happy, Gen was right, Chrome really was a great alpha.
Chrome bit Y/n's connection point and let her mark it to him. They both licked their wounds until they stopped bleeding.
Thus they fell into a comfortable silence and fell asleep. With marks proudly displayed on their skin. They were mates, alpha and omega, Chrome and Y/n. And that was the way it should be, that was the way it had always been. Now it was right.

Chapter 206 Trivia
Post-timeskip Suika squad! They're all so cute :)
Tumblr media
Unlike the new Perseus, the ship going to Corn City is Xeno branded rather than Kingdom of Science: it has the signature zig-zag patterns of the American Colony and Xeno's profile on the side of the boat.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Joel's crushed arm is hidden, however since no one mentions it, it's probably fully healed. Somehow.
Joel's "12" hair strands have also gotten thicker, and the strap on his watchmaker's loupe survived even though his clothes are gone…
Tumblr media
…Except everyone is still wearing the same clothes from before anyways. Did Ukyo and the others take off their clothes for depetrification then return them?
I also wonder who's currently in possession of the medusa now.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Finally a Taiju and Yuzuriha reunion! And what's more, progress on their relationship! (Sort of…)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It seems that when they built the new Perseus, a new mobile lab was built to go with it! Judging by the tires, this one is also all-terrain and amphibious.
Tumblr media
Has Sai not eaten in days because of his fevered code writing? Or does he deliberately ignore table manners like "don't speaking with your mouth full" as a result of trying to escape his fate in Nanami Corp.?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Holding flags has never held so much personality: Kohaku is extremely focused and lifts her flag completely vertically, very quickly. Suika twirls hers. Gen does his the slowest and is most put-out by the demonstration. Chrome lifts his loosely with one hand, but with confidence.
Tumblr media
An XOR (said as "exclusive OR") gate is the job Suika had during the demonstration: lift the flag when Chrome OR Gen put theirs up, /excluding/ the situation where they're both up.
An AND gate was Kohaku's job: both Chrome AND Gen need their flags up for Kohaku to lift hers.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The brief moment of history for the parametron lasted under a decade. Invented by Eiichi Goto, a Japanese computer scientist, they were reliable and cheap, allowing for Japan to push forward with their computers. They didn't last long because transistors simply performed better.
Tumblr media
Senku's parametron only requires copper and zinc, but true parametrons use some form of ferrite core. Copper and zinc aren't ferromagnetic, but ferrite is.
The result? Senku's version won't work. At all.
Tumblr media
In case you haven't watched the anime and didn't immediately get Gen's Kung Dang Manganese song stuck in your head the instant "800" was mentioned: Gen insisting there'll be 800 of them is a reference to when they made the cellphone, and Gen was tasked with making 800 batteries.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sai is playing a code block game designed for children. He's probably programming a moveable character on the screen at the top of the container by arranging the blocks in order. This is probably a simplified version of the Gakken EX-150, a device for easily experimenting with electronics.
Doesn't look like he knows the Konami code yet, but I'm sure he will soon enough!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I'm not sure if I'm just getting old or if this is a reference to Senku bringing back smartphones (and not just cellphones), but that isn't what I think of when someone says "calculator" haha
Tumblr media
I love Yuzuriha's signature hard-work pose so much :)

😊😋 I give you permission to even critique my ship lol. So here we gooooo!!! But well mostly hc's
So here's the thing, because Shiryu is already under a goddess's command as a zodiac knight is very difficult for him to see Kefer often. Though his problems are with the great patriarch. The same goes with Kefer when the council or his other god friends question why he likes so much a mortal.
So when they both have time alone they always take the opportunity to talk, sweet on a try, and watch the frogs jump in a lagoon.
This might be unnecessary, but my sexuality hc's for them is; Shiryu: asexual/bisexual, and Kefer: demiromantic/pansexual. So there was no interest in sexual stuff.
Both are bookish guys, they can almost always be found reading or writing, everything from historical records to poetry. But their favorite activity is gardening. So they always share gardening tips and gift each other plant seeds from their native lands.
When Shiryu is alone with his friends after a date with Kefer, other knights like Shun and Saiya always go to Shiryu's side to ask him about his relationship with Kefer and if he wanted help to sneak out and see him again, but Shiryu always declines as he doesn't want to cause trouble.
While others like Ikki and Hyoga feel bothered/worried. Ikki is the one who would stop Shiryu from keep seeing Kefer or trying to fight Kefer, but it never works.
Kefer's side is not better as I said before. As a god, he has a status to keep and cannot make public that he is in love with a mortal, most important, with a mortal from a different culture and that already obeys a goddess.
This stress was easy to spot.
Sometimes Kefer forgets to work out the kinks in his muscles and likes to say that he can handle it, ending up suffering from cramps that stopped him from continuing to fight. The same happened to Shiryu multiple times but with the symptom of losing his sight for short periods of time or even vomiting from stress as the great patriarch slowly started to find out.
Leo, as the only human child that didn't care like the others worked as a neutral positive force that helped Shiryu/Kefer to see each other more often and even fight back against the others who did not accept this relationship. It was a "Homie! Love is love I see no difference so I'll kick your asses if you keep bothering them!"
So the Egyptian gods and other knights stopped after they were all humiliated by a kid. How? We don't talk about that. It was too much...
I hope that you accept my rambles 😊😋 I'll give more later
Oh, these are good rambles~! Thank you so much!

Regarding the localised Saint Seiya name changes, apparently the director of the CGI series has said it’s because he found it kinda strange that the characters in-universe are all supposed come from multiple different backgrounds yet still all have Japanese names.
Fair point, but I think they went too far in the other direction. (Especially as multiculturalism means that many countries will have names from all over the place amongst their residents)
The "All have Japanese names" was possibly tied into the manga-only plot point that ALL 100 of the orphans in the Glaude Foundation Child Cannon Foddr Endangerment Brigade were the son's of the same guy; Mitsumasa Kido, Saori's adoptive grandparent!
Given there's one a couple of years between oldest and youngest that wpi;d say something REALLY messed up about Kido's sexual proclivities, (or maybe he's just channelling Zeus) and why ALL of them became orphans so conveniently is perhaps better not dwelt on. Certainly NO adaptation has ever incorporated that plot point and it's never mentioned again in the manga.
I'm not sure it would make sense that Hyoga is called Magnus, a Scandanavian name, when he's Russian. And Ikki and Shun being biological brothers in every iteration would presumably matching origins for their names, but Nero and Shun/Shaun really aren't as far as I know.
Apparently there's also a very old, unofficial and fan-created interview which, due to confusion of sourcing in pre-internet days, became taken as more or less canon, that "Hyoga" was his mother's maiden name, with his first name being Alexei , which would make sense with his Russian mother raising him.

↣Hyoga
Fandom: Dr. Stone
Pairing: Hyouga/Reader
Content/s: why is it that I can think of the beginning but not the ending...?
Request:  Hello! Can I have a scenario of a very jealous Hyoga please? His short girlfriend is very nice and sweet and is loved by many, and Hyoga didn't like that. He was kinda okay with other men talking to his s/o, but when Mozu (who didn't know s/o was Hyoga's girlfriend) was hiiting on her... Let say that a new law was instored in the kingdom of science : Do not hit on s/o, the sentence will be death by the hand of her boyfriend Hyoga. The only survivor is scared for life.
Tumblr media
Hyouga walked around the science kingdom. Following either Tsukasa or Ukyo or maybe Gen around. He didn't know what to do, everything was still new to him after he was freed from his prison cell.
His girlfriend was probably off somewhere. He was hoping that he could find her soon. He didn't want another damn primitive human flirting with her again, or maybe Ryusui. That man wanted things to no end and it irked him so much when it was s/o.
At this point he was tired of following whoever around. He needed to find you stat, because if he sees another man doing shit he doesn't like.
He would need to borrow Yo's gun. Seriously.
Hey, it's in case he was too far away from your presence.
He's always never minded the looks and flirting remarks every man gave you. Except Senku that man was married to his science lab, but there were times that he would actually look at you softly.
His calm facade of not caring was slowly breaking. And he had the urge to kill anyone near her.
At this point, s/o probably was used to his jealous ass. Whenever she sees someone cowering in fear she would know right away who was the cause of it.
At the same time it was pretty cute and funny at times to see him like that. But sometimes you couldn't get things right, that you would have to give him a look to leave you alone.
For the sake of your well being, Hyouga would just walk away. The look you would give wasn't really threatening. In fact, it was cute that he would let out a small chuckle.
That sometimes Gen or Yo would hear and start bothering and teasing him.
But anyways, ever since that fight back in the island where the medusa was. One certain man always irked his man than any other had, and no it wasn't Ryusuiat least he had knew what was going about you two.
It was Mozu, someone who just joined the science kingdom. For some reason, Mozu was always following you around even after the action he did before.
Hyouga at first dismissed the idea of Mozu taking a liking to you. But then he suddenly got bothered so damn bad about the way he  was around you like a dog.
Sure, that man was good and beneficial for sure with his fighting skills, losing would mean losing another important member in the kingdom.
But damn fuck, he will not hesitate to actually bury that man deep in the ground where no one will find him.
If he weren't so bad at doing things secretly that is.
Anyway, present time. Hyouga has already found them, and by them I mean s/o and Mozu.
That mans mood swinged to normal to an annoying, jealous fit. Stomping at their direction while everyone else around the scene didn't even dare to calm Hyouga.
They either sweat nervously in their places, or hiding a snicker from the scene. (cough Gen)
With a hand on top of your head, his other hand pointed his spear to Mozu. A glare directed right at the man that could make any human shiver in place, all except Mozu.
"Just where do you think your placing your damn hands?"
He says spitefully, ready to injure the man right before him. Eyes twitching in annoyance while s/o stood there trying to stop Hyouga, or at least try to give him a look or an action that would make him get off his murderous aura.
"Alright stop over there"
Senku says casually like always. His fingers doing his usual cleaning in his ear as he strides towards the three.
"As much as this was getting interesting, I'd like to avoid any sort of bloodshed." Senku grins, looking over to s/o and says. "Please hold down your jealous boyfriend from murdering another man."
She chuckled, "Sorry, even though it's quite interesting and cute to see him like this,"
"Huh?-" Hyouga looks at her in disagreement with the word 'cute'.
"I'll try my best to stop him"
She says dragging a protesting Hyouga away.
With a sigh Senku turns and looks at every man and women in the village.
"As you have seen, anyone who dares to make a move will be murdered. And if that happens I don't have another room in the fridge."
With a wave he walks away.
Leaving every men shivering in fear as they can imagine the feeling of Hyouga's spear stabbing them in pain.

Saint Seiya - Poseidon Saga
I haven't read the manga for a couple of days but I've already read the Poseidon saga.
I don't consider it on the same level as the 12 houses but I think a couple of interesting things happen and are said.
To begin with I didn't feel that the knights were in as much danger as in the 12 houses saga, but the same can't be said for the rest of the world.
Poseidon was generating a planetary flood that had already killed 1 million people or so. And if it had continued it would have killed all the people.
But it didn't feel so dangerous because the Golden Ones could have finished everything in minutes if they had appeared but because of Dohko they didn't act. It was necessary for the Cloth of Aioros, Camus and the Cloth of Libra who was already there to slow Poseidon down a bit.
So now Camus is not as traitorous as they say so look at those who stood by and did nothing in the Sanctuary.
Caça de Limnades was the only sea general who actually posed a danger, the only one who came close was Krishna after his armour was destroyed.
Sorrento was the best general, better than Kanon certainly and the only one I found interesting because Kanon never had the same presence as Saga.
Hyoga took blow after blow throughout the saga first with Camus' fake and then with Isaac. Shun is the only one who defeated 2 Marine Generals.
I liked that Shaina had her moment to shine in the saga first in the battle against Thetis and then alongside Seiya.
I mentioned earlier that there were a couple of interesting dialogues.
They are spoken by Poseidon and Saori/Athena. From the dialogue Poseidon has with Kanon, what I understand is that Poseidon was planning to ally with Athena to fight Hades. Since Hades' plan would involve the destruction of the earth and the oceans.
And the next one is when Athena seals Poseidon again, Poseidon says that Athena will be punished, but Athena says that she already knows it and that's why she reincarnated again, to face all the deities if it would be necessary.
Saori did well during the saga I guess. She wanted to go to meet Poseidon and for that she scared Sorrento with her cosmos, with her sacrifice by letting herself be locked in the pillar she slowed down the flood on earth and also supported the bronze saints from a distance with her cosmos and finally she seals Poseidon although in this last moment I feel as if the spirit of a more mature Athena has possessed Saori for a short period of time.
The story of Thetis was interesting and I like that Julian helps those who were affected by the flood and that Sorrento accompanies him.

(Spoilers up til chapter 193)
I've seen a lot of opinions on Dr Xeno and Stanley recently, so I'm here to explain my own opinion and maybe question what I've read a bit.
I love Dr. Xeno as a character, and I really like Stanley as well. Now don't get me wrong ; I don't condone killing and I'd be terrified as hell to be their enemy. But as a person reading a story, I do like them.
Xeno isn't wrong when he says he and Senku are similar : science is their prime interest, and both of them would never give it up. From my point of view Xeno isn't building a dictatorship for power, but to secure his freedom to do science without being shackled by politics, morals and disinterest or ignorance (see his conversation with Chrome in the tunnel when he was kidnapped, or with Senku in chapter 193). And while his lack of morals is something I do not share, it's very easy for me to understand where he is coming from. Thing is, today, scientific research is limited, because all research involves founding. Thus, you are obliged to research something someone will have an interest in, otherwise your project will never even cross the starting line. Add to that restrictions due to politics and/or public opinion who isn't always accurate because the average person is not very knowledgeable when it comes to science, and Xeno's frustration becomes very understandable.
Maybe I'm in a bit of a particular position because I've experienced something similar in the past. I remember my mathematics class in 2nd year of middle school. You must know that I've always loved maths, and it's always been an easy topic for me. What's more, I' ve always been really "behaved" in class. So spending my entire year in a class in which I could barely hear the teacher over the noise my classmates would make, with airplanes and other objects flying all over was pure torture for me. More than once I nearly ended up in tears or spent the entire class internally begging I could explode and make them shut up. But I think the worst was that the day I did explode - for the first time ever in all my years in school, and it only happened once again ever since - and raised my voice at my classmates - no insults or screaming, just speaking very loud and covering every other voice, for one or two sentences - the teacher obviously asked to see me at the end of the class. I expected him to be on my side, to tell me he understood my frustration, but no. He told me not to do it again and left it at that.
So I know what it's like to be surrounded by people you deem ignorant, I know what it's like not to find support in people who should be on your side - and Xeno's eagerness to kill other scientists and not work with them despite the fact that scientific advancement is quicker that way tells me that was probably the case for him too. I know what it's like to feel lonely because of your intellect, and to resent others for not respecting your need to learn. Because yes, it's not a wish, it's a need and not being able to fulfill it is painful. So I can't condone Xeno's methods, but I sure as hell do understand where he's coming from.
As for Stanley - I must say what I like the most about him is his relationship with Xeno. It's not clearly stated whether they are an item or not - and while I like to believe that they are, his loyalty would be even more admirable if they weren't. He's that support and acceptance Xeno must surely long for. An unconditional ally. And yeah, he kills people - but honestly, he's a soldier so I'm not sure what you expected.
And since we're on the topic of killing people, what I'm surprised about is that some people condemn Xeno and Stanley on the topic but not Tsukasa. Because I fail to see the difference.
While I understand Xeno, Tsukasa's ideology never made much sense to me. More precisely, while I agree that today's world is far from perfect, the whole "adults are evil, young people are innocent and science must be abolished" speech is so incredibly naive and ignorant that I could argue against it for thirty minutes straight. And for the critics, I'm the same age Tsukasa was when he was revived, and I was younger when I started Dr. Stone, so don't tell me that's the problem here. In any case, while I don't think dictature is a viable long-term solution in either Xeno's or Tsukasa's case (because you can't tell me Tsukasa wasn't a dictator when he reigned alone and didn't accept differing opinions), at least the reason Xeno started his was logical.
And Tsukasa killed too, for the sake of imposing his worldview. He killed Senku, killed a lot of statues - yes, killed, because he didn't know they could be saved just like Stanley and Brody didn't know the beam would save the Japanese. All things considered, Tsukasa probably killed more people on his own than all the Americans since the beginning of the arc. Not to mention that the Americans only killed people who were an active threat, not people who are not even conscious. So I don't understand why people are so eager to hate Stanley and Xeno but accept Tsukasa no problem.
In the end, the only antagonist I truly dislike is Ibara, because he only wanted power. (And Mozu too, I guess, but he's been playing nice so I'm reserving my opinion for now). Tsukasa, Xeno, and even Hyoga in a way, are all defending their own values from honest concerns that originate from the world we experience today. I truly believe it's important that the Kingdom of Science consider all of those issues while reviving humanity.

Rune translations and Bottom theories (I did my best!) (: It's long! I mean REALLY REALLY REALLY LONG!!!! You've been warned. (Potential TWs below the cut) yeah Hyoga doesn't have a good time here.
I should probably start calling Hyoga "Hyouga" instead since I'm pretty sure it's spelled with a 'U'... but I probably won't. Apologies.
Bottom English translation by Tackmyn Y! (I can't speak Japanese, again, apologies, though I was able to make my own version of Autophagy)
Potential TWs (I dont want to harm anyone by going on this rant): Autophagy (medical terms), nightmares, demons tormenting a guy, Hyoga being unhealthy in more ways than one, mentions of death/murder, self esteem issues, mentions of destructive behavior, manipulation, violence.
Yeah, my boy Hyoga ain't having a good time in this theory.
I feel the need to clarify that this is all speculation. So uh. Everything here is just what I've been thinking about since I hopped into this rabbit hole.
Sinfan (I'm not sure what order they go in, it's quite hard to tell):
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
["Death"
"I"
"Revive"
"Spirit"
"I"
"Something with shape"]
I'm not fully sure what "something with shape" means, but there's a possibility that Sinfan could be referring to Hyoga, (a doll/wax figure) or maybe that Sinfan needs something with a shape to be able to exist. Sinfan could need a vessel to stay on the mortal plain and go undetected while staying alive.
Sinfan needs a vessel. And with that thought, it launches into indecipherable theory crafting.
Hyoga summoned Sinfan when he was 12 years old. Thinking he found a vessel, he called upon Pabometh, another grey demon, to help torment Hyoga so the two could get their wish.
Hyoga, at the time, is young, dumb and susceptible to manipulation, meaning it could be easy for Sinfan to grasp the situation with an iron grip which follows Hyoga into adulthood.
"Revival" could also be referring to "Rebirth," symbolized by a butterfly. It could also mean that Sinfan/Pabo has the powers to revive people. Maybe as a last resort if they need it.
In Hiiragi Kirai's album trailer on Youtube, Hyoga shows up in a scene with 'D' and 'B' in calligraphy on each cheek. They could mean "Death" and "Birth" respectively.
Lines from Autophagy:
"I just wants a peaceful life." Likely means Hyoga wants the demons gone so he can live how he wants to. (Who wouldn't?)
"The voice inside my head? Huh... how odd." Also implies that the demons are still with him.
"My body pulses, memories from my past bringing pain." Means that in Autophagy, Hyoga remembers his past, but it hurts him.
""You can't avoid it in life, so it's best to just deal with it." You say, but you dont seem bothered." Is most likely Sinfan talking to Hyoga. It could also mean that Hyoga can't avoid the demons, so he should just deal with it.
"I can't stop now, so pretend nothing happened!" Could be Hyoga trying to ignore the demons, or maybe he did something he shouldn't have. (Always knew those were prison tattoos...)
"I want to wash my skull out! I want to say bye bye! But yet I didn't do it..." Could mean that the demons are still with him in Autophagy and likely still tormenting him.
"I won't stop, I can't look back." Might mean Hyoga is trying to move on, but with the demons still in his head, he can't, so the "Let me forget!" after the instrument solo might be him wishing that he never remembered in the first place and trying to get the demons to take them away again.
"Just stay away from me!" Could be Hyoga distancing himself from everyone he knows, or trying to get the demons to go away.
"Hello! HAHAHAHA Hello! HAHAHAHAHA!" Might be Hyoga as he slowly loses his remaining sanity due to constant tormenting and pressure from the demons.
"A A A A- 'Allo/Allow/Arrow" could all imply different things, so I'll give a short on all of them.
"'Allo!" Is just an abbreviation of "Hello."
"Arrow!" -According to a quick google search- is a common symbolism for peace and philosophical ideas, and used for protection and hunting. It could mean that Hyoga just wants peace and quiet, which is enforced by "I just want a peaceful life." in the beginning.
"Allow!" Could mean that the demons are trying even harder to bend him to their will and take him over as a vessel. They want Hyoga to allow them to posses him so they can do whatever they please.
Pabo only has 2 that I can see:
Tumblr media
["Nightmare"
"Save (?)ime"]
It might be "time" but I couldn't make out the rune symbol there.
"Nightmare" hardens my thought that Bottom is just a massive nightmare set up by the demons to torment Hyoga, that the song is sung from the perspective of one of the demons (likely Pabo), and that Young Hyoga(tm) in the video is Pabometh playing the part of his repressed/forgotten memories.
This is all assuming the song is, infact, sung by the demons.
Lines from Bottom:
"You're keeping me alive! Today, today, you're killing me!" Could go both ways (Pabo/Sinfan and Hyoga) For Pabo it could just be another variation of the next line I'm about to talk about.
For Hyoga it could mean that he wouldn't be able to function if he didn't have the demons (Sinfan might posses him to make him fit in so nobody notices, keep him from dying from mortal wounds, and he's lived with them so long he might not know what to do without them), but with them he's slowly tearing himself apart from the inside out due to their constant tormenting. Metaphorically or literally is anyone's guess at the moment.
"Autophagy" (his songs name) is a medical term for "self eat" which normally happens when your body is starved, so it eats it's own cells to survive as long as it can. It can also correlate to certain diseases. Autophagy in these terms might also be referring to emotions. It's possible he's been stewing in any sort of negative emotions to cause such effects. (I.E: Guilt, fear, self worth issues,) which could make his resolve weaker, making it easier for Pabo and Sinfan to torment him/possess him. The longer it goes on, the closer he could be to self destructing.
"A wax figure/a doll is keeping me alive/killing me." Is more related to the demons in my eyes. "Wax figure/a doll" is likely referring to Hyoga. Hyoga could be their only tie to the mortal realm, (Sinfan being more prominent because he was summoned first, and by Hyoga himself.)
It could also mean that they need to inhabit his mind/body in order to survive and make it easier to torment Hyoga. If they both are in Hyoga's mind 24/7 while he suffers from nightmares (which cause lack of sleep, keeping his body in a perpetually weak state), no self worth, and a fragile mental state ("I wanna keep you out of my fragile mind!") while he tears himself apart, it would mean it would be harder to stay with him without something happening.
Due to that, it's likely that the very thing keeping them alive and in the mortal realm is also killing them at the same time.
It may be worth mentioning that a line in Bottom is "You think you're a god to me?" while 9lore translated Rinen's (Möbius') tattoo on his chest, which reads "Be still and know that I am god." It could a a coincidence, but I thought I'd mention it just in case (:
Throughout the entire song the demons are mocking and belittling Hyoga. (I.E: "Defying all logic, you're nothing but evil." "You're so stupid! You scumbag, scumbag, scumbag!") Most of the angry rant type of thing happens when Young Hyoga (tm) is on-screen. (It could be a tactic to make Hyoga not want to remember/manipulate his memories/tear down his resolve even more/or just plain upset him.)
"I mean, who, who, who are you?" It's been made clear that for the longest time (according to WOOMA) Hyoga didn't even remember his own name. "Who are you?" might be Pabo trying to get into Hyoga's head and make him question his own sanity.
"What the hell are you to me?" Implies that Pabo also want Hyoga to question why Pabo is here. Sinfan was summoned by Hyoga, but Pabometh was likely summoned by Sinfan to help tear down Hyoga. That means the two don't have much history, and Hyoga most likely doesn't know why Pabo is here for awhile.
It's "you to me" instead of "me to you" so Pabo could also be trying to get Hyoga to try and notice him in a positive way so that the nightmares stop. I'll expand on that some more a few (a lot) of paragraphs down.
"Inside my heart is- such a rage! Such a rage! So I'll grab you, grasp you, and crush you flat!" Is a line I find interesting. It also leads directing into another line; "The symptom of the unforgettable emotion is my burning intent to murder, which is absolutely right." Pabo would likely be talking about Hyoga, which implies that if he could, Pabo would murder Hyoga himself, but since the "wax figure" is needed to keep both him and his accomplice, Sinfan, alive, he can't.
It also implies that Pabo is extremely angry with Hyoga, for a reason I can't particularly pinpoint, except maybe for the fact that Hyoga's becoming more and more unstable and not safe for Pabo and Sinfan. The only problem is, it's Pabo and Sinfans fault he's like that. They're the ones that chose Hyoga as a vessel while simultaneously destroying him.
However, it's possible that Pabo's aim was to devoid Hyoga of anything and everything, (I.E: memories, emotions, etc. etc.) so that he was just that: a vessel. But with Hyoga being so destructive to himself, the whole plan could have gone awry and Pabo's only thought was how furious he was at Hyoga for messing up his chance to be in the mortal realm undetected for good, meaning he wishes he could destroy Hyoga and just get it over with so him and Sinfan could wait until someone else summoned them so they could take advantage of that.
""How deplorable you are! How deplorable you are!"" Is a line that has a chance of Hyoga himself having said it due to it having quotes on it. It also implies that he he could be fighting back, so his resolve might not crushed completely. However, a show of strength like that would likely just enrage Pabometh even more than he already is. It also doesn't help the positive impression he wants Pabo to have of him.
"You're involving yourself with me again like a clingy, clingy neighbor!" Sounds like Pabo, again, insulting Hyoga. If we go off of another part of this fever dream I've cooked up, (Hyoga not knowing what to do without the demons, but with them destroying himself), sounds like Pabo doesn't want to be with Hyoga anymore, going as far as hating him so much he's festering in it.
The "again" makes it sound like Hyoga's tried to communicate with them more than once, being unsuccessful each time. Hyoga could be trying to latch onto them, either to take them down with him or trying to get the nightmares to stop. Like I said, for a while Hyoga could have been trying to get positive attention and make Pabo like him.
"The low-end is going to manipulate me." Could be Pabo addressing that he knows what Hyoga was trying to do and calling him out for it.
"Brimming with momentary anger, rot away quickly, quickly, quickly!" Again, Pabo is talking about his burning hatred for Hyoga.
"I'm always losing! How, how dare you!" Implies that even with all the nightmares and torment, Hyoga has just enough willpower to keep Pabo from getting his wish, angering him even more.
And finally, a line from Autophagy:
"Oh, rise seeds of evil, bursting with malice!" Might be Hyoga finally giving into the demons and becoming their vessel if they take away his painful memories and stop hurting him.
Pentagram:
Tumblr media
["-r Guide(A) N(?)E A(?)R"
"The ability to know wh-"
"Grant me the power to be strong in spirit-"
"Grant me the wisdom to understand-"]
With it over Pabo, it's possible that this was the one that summoned Pabo instead of Sinfan, although with it also under Hyoga, it could be Sinfan's. Who knows, it might also be boths.
In the ending scene with the pentagram, the colors of the other songs are visible, meaning that it's possible all of them are connected.
(I could go on for hours about the small loopholes that I think mean all the songs are connected in specific ways. Either way I know they're all from the same universe.)
With all their colors on it, it might mean they all have a demon of their own.
I'm still working slightly on the pentagram, I'll probably keep ya updated if I can find out what the rest of it says (:
If anyone can find the full version (preferably readable) of the pentagram, that'd be lovely (if it even exists)
(If you find more runes in "Bottom" or another Hiiragi song I'd be happy to see if I can translate it (: I'm not very good though, and I can't speak Japanese-)
English translation of Bottom used by: Tackmyn Y (I don't know where you are but you're a lifesaver)
Find any spelling errors, let me know! I'll see if I can fix 'em (:
If you read this far, what're you doing??
Have an absolutely amazing day!!! <3

Note
Soooo... since the asshole Kido is not their father, what are their origins? Since they come from all around the world and whatnot.
I don’t have all of them fully detailed (I mean, the group of Bronzes we know), but I have the main five and Jabu with a bit more of an explanation behind their origins.
[I made a digression on their Italian names here, you can skip if you’re not interested]
However, let me put a bit of a disclaimer here: part of this thing of “they have different nationalities” works really good for me because the have different names in the Italian dub, so I can avoid trying to explain why they all have Japanese names.  I am aware that people can have names of different origins (where’s the fun in naming a child if you’re not creative, come on), but this helps in adding a bit more diversity to these “orphans from mothers all around the world”.
Three of the main five don’t have a name in the Italian dub (Seiya, Shun and Ikki are called like their constellations, which is ridiculous but what can I do about it, so they kept their OG names), but for clarity, here’s the name changes of the others. Obviously, the changed names have different meanings:
Shiryu : Sirio (which is the name of a star in Canis Major, also known as Sirius in latin). Technically an Italian name, since Sirio is the Italianization of Sirius.
Hyoga: Crystal (or Cristal). I’m still convinced that they stole this from the Crystal Saint, it’s too funny. But, well, obviously you know what crystal means. Although, I believe it’s more of a girl name in English? I don’t know, names are weird.
Seiya, Shun, and Ikki: Pegasus, Andromeda, and Phoenix. Unfortunately. So they keep their original names.
Jabu: Asher. According to the internet, it’s a name of Hebrew origins and it’s the name of the son if Israel in the bible. As a surname, it has different origins.
Nachi: Black. You know what black means, so let’s move on.
Ichi: Aspides. I don’t know if the inspiration was what I found, but aspides is the plural form of aspis, a wooden shield used in Ancient Greece.
Geki: Gerki. Don’t know why this change was necessary. According to the internet this is just a rare surname, no meaning attached, a bit more common in the USA.
Ban kept his name, and the name can also have origins in languages other than Japanese (such as Slavic origins or Hawaiian origins). I obviously searched on google, so I might not be correct.
[End of the digression]
So, what are the origins of the Bronze Saints we know? Keep in mind: in my own headcanon (which is basically half-confirmed by whatever is going on in canon) Saints don’t have biological parents that are still alive. I think I elaborated on this on this blog, but I don’t remember. At some point or another, said parents passed away.
Seiya is the only one I kept as Japanese. Also, it’s a good time to mention that, in my rant about Shun and Ikki, I forgot that Seiya has an older sister too (but hey, they forget her constantly, I can’t be blamed that much).  As the Italian dub calls Tokyo (a name that I adopted with the headcanon of it being a different city because Tokyo is the New York of anime and I’m tired of it), he was born in New Luxor (yeah, Nuova Luxor in the dub, I like it a lot :D )
Shiryu is Chinese. I really like the idea of him simply going back to his origins upon discovering his training place.  He was born in Pingyao, where there is one of the Nine-Dragon Walls.
Hyoga is 100% Russian. Even though him being Kido’s son makes sense, I hate that old excuse of a man so here you go. Even if Natassia got pregnant on a one time thing, Kido can go cry his loneliness in his expensive pillows and stay away.  He was born in Oymyakon, the Russian settlement with the lowest registered temperatures ever.
Shun and Ikki are German. I like to think this because of the whole backstory for Pandora, Shun and Ikki in the Hades Chapter. Since she is German, I liked the idea of her being chosen by the twin gods to find a vessel for Hades because she was actually pretty close to him already.  They were born in Munich.
Jabu is Egyptian. This has a particular reason that came from both their early rivalry in the series and the Italian name for Tokyo. I wanted for there to be some sort of equivalence. He was born in Luxor (see what I did there).
Nachi is British, thanks to his Italian dub name “Black”. Kinda bizzarre, I know, but I couldn’t let go of the opportunity.  Never really thought about where he was born.
Ichi is Greek, thanks to his Italian dub name “Aspides”.  Again, didn’t thin about his birth place.
Ban could probably be Hawaiian (since his name has also Hawaiian origins if Internet didn’t lie to me), while I have no idea for Geki. Maybe he could be from the US, since the Italian dub name does exist in America.
This, in my opinion, gives them a bit more diversity. It doesn’t make sense to me that all the other Saints have different nationalities, but the Bronze Saints are all Japanese save for Hyoga (who’s still half Japanese in the manga). Saint Seiya always struck me as something full of diversity, and I really don’t want them to be so monochromatic, artistically speaking.

Saint Seiya Question Game
Let us play a little Question game. Remove my answers and puts yours under the questions.
Taken from: @aaravos-startouchelf
How did you get out/found to Saint Seiya?
I actually watched it as Knights of the Zodiac back when Toonami was showing it every Saturday night along with other great anime. That was before they took it off air in the middle of the Sanctuary Arc.
Who´s your favorite character and why? This is a very hard question for me because I have not seen the whole series include any of the spin offs and OVAs besides Lost Canvas. So I’ll list my favorites from each part.  Saint Seiya Sanctuary: Cygnus Hyoga
Saint Seiya Asgard: Benetnasch Eta Mime Saint Seiya Poseidon: Siren Sorrento Saint Seiya Hades: Aries Mu Saint Seiya The Lost Canvas: Aries Shion and/or Unicorn Yato Saint Seiya Soul of Gold: Aries Mu
Who´s your absolute hate-character and why? Aw man, that’s tough! I would say the Specter Toad/Frog? Zelos. After seeing the scene where he hurt Camus when he couldn’t even fight back. I don’t like characters that kick people when they are already down.
Shippings you like and why you ship them?
I have a lot... OTL
HyogaXShun: They are absolutely devoted to one another, sacrificing so much for the other. It shows how much they care about each other.
IkkiXHyoga: The dynamic seems interesting to me, mostly because they are almost polar opposites. But I think they would make a very unique couple.
SeiyaXShiryu: The bond between these two are so strong since the tournament. Always worrying about each other, being happy to see each other again. It’s super touching.
JabuXNachi: Okay, a real rare pair since we never get to see any of the other Bronze Saints again. But I think this pair would be interesting, mostly because Jabu needs someone else that would stand by him since he can’t be with Saori.
SeiyaXShun: These two are very sweet to each other. Always having each others back, Shun always saving Seiya, not to mention Seiya always wanting to protect Shun.
SagaXMu: Okay, these two are kind a of rare pair. I don’t know what got me into the pairing, but I think Mu’s kind and gentle nature would be good for Saga to help him heal. Being forgiven by Mu and acknowledged as a fellow Gold Saint really helps Saga to heal from all those years he was suffering at the hands of his dark half.
ShakaXMu: Mostly for the elegant feel and the welcome company. Mu cries over all of his comrades, but he felt close to Shaka. So I think they are a very sweet couple.
AioliaXShaka: These two have the companionship dynamic, not to mention they seem to enjoy each other’s company. They would definitely be sparring partners, being careful not to almost have another 1000 day war.
SagaXCamus: A pairing I recently discovered, with it’s own unique feel. I feel these two would be the quiet companions, Camus trying to help Saga with his pain.
DeathmaskXAphrodite: A real devilish pair. They are ones who understand each other, though they see things quite differently. Aphrodite would probably be the one to quell Deathmask when he’s angry.
AiolosXShura: I know this pairing is a little hard to see, but I imagine Shura looked up to Aiolos and regrets being the one who killed him. When he finally apologizes, Aiolos would have already forgiven him for everything.
MiloXCamus: The care with how Milo worries about Camus is so sweet, he even tries to convey his best friend’s feelings to Hyoga and that speaks volumes.
FenrirXMime: I find this pairing to be very sweet, Fenrir enjoying Mime’s gentle presence as he plays for him. Fenrir would be very affectionate as he grows closer to Mime, even staying with him during very cold nights with his wolves. Poseidon/JulianXSorrento: Okay, partially a loyalty pairing and loving pairing. Julian would be very caring with Sorrento, while Poseidon may be a bit more possessive.  BaianXIo: These two it’s a bit harder for me to say since I haven’t seen the Poseidon Arc yet, but they would be one of those cute pairings.  RhadamanthysXKanon: A pure rivalry pairing, I feel they could learn a lot from one another. HadesXOrphee: Okay, a VERY rare pairing. I feel this one is possible though many may disagree with me. Honestly, I feel Orphee would become closer to Hades over the time he played for he’s played for him. Maybe even to fill the void of loneliness he feels after losing Eurydice.  TenmaXAlone: Of course, these two are made for each other. So protective and loving to each other.  TenmaXYato: A rivalry pairing, but I feel these two could get together after getting to know each other as they fighting together.  RegulusXYato: They are best friends, though Regulus enjoys teasing Yato too much.  DohkoXShion: A bond that goes beyond the hundreds of years they’ve lived. They share so much hardship, they deserve each other. ShionXAlbafica: A heartbreaking couple. Shion tries to pull Albafica out of his shell but loses him. It’s so sad they didn’t get more time together.  KardiaXDegel: The amount of care for each other, that makes this pairing so nice. Degel taking care of Kardia when he’s sick, Kardia defending Degel on the battlefield shows a strong bond between them. I can’t think of any others right now. I will add them later if I do.
Shippings you don´t like/hate and why you dislike them? PandoraXIkki: Um...no? Ikki never felt that way for her, not to mention it’s kinda creepy to me. ^^;;;; ANY ADULT/MINOR Pairings that are way too far apart.
Your favorite Scene?
So far my favorite scene is when Shun uses his Cosmos to save Hyoga in the Libra Temple in the Sanctuary Arc. It really shows how much Shun is willing to give his all to save those dearest to him.
Your favorite Attack:
Aurora Execution! Hyoga was my very first favorite, but seeing Camus use this move made me love the Ice Saints even more. It’s beautiful not to mention terrifying.
If you could decide for which god/goddess you fight, which one you prefer and why?
Wow, this is a hard question! There are so many but not many are even mentioned! I would have to choose...either Athena or Poseidon? I really can’t decide. ^^;
If you could choose a Cloth. Which you would prefer? I would want to have the Aries or Aquarius Cloths! I love their design and the power behind them!
From which country you´re from?
I am from America!
Your favorite season / sequel:  So far it’s the Sanctuary Arc! Since I haven’t watch the others yet!
Tag friends who want to play the game too (It can be played by anyone): @starlightofdream @siberianxbreaks

Dream Place
Tumblr media
The rustling sounds of the paper reverberated softly against the walls of his laboratory as he continued writing some equations and diagrams for the next experiment and research that he’ll do with Chrome and Kaseki. The stone wars were finally over. Everything was back to normal. Another busy day of preparations in the Kingdom of Science.
Now that he temporarily formed a truce with Tsukasa, he can finally continue his goal of saving the lives of petrified people and pushed forward the civilization towards the era of modernization with the help of science.
So, for the next few days he can see everyone greeting him amid their busy work. Except for one.
The cryptic, viridian eyed archer: Ukyo Saionji. He was quiet, observant and polite. But his thoughts and goals were mostly shrouded by his inscrutable smile. He can never quite figure him out unlike the other people that he observed and studied previously. Despite Ukyo’s peaceful reticence and congenial attitude with the others, he was always controlled and his seraphic features were always obscured by his closed off smile and mystifying gaze.
Senkuu now realized how Ukyo could survive a year in the empire of Tsukasa.
His presence intrigued him.
Senkuu finally found him one day sitting at the top of one the oldest and tallest trees in the world. His hat was down on his face while his hands were clasped gently in front of him. He wasn’t deceived of his soporific stature as he knew that the sonar man possessed a sharp sense in hearing.
“There you are.” He stared up nonchalantly at his direction.
“Do you need something from me Senkuu?” Ukyo’s voice is tranquil and unruffled like a wave less water around the sea.
“Do you always relax in strange places?” Senkuu asked instead as he stared up at the male who was sitting comfortably in one of trunks of the tree with an arched brow and curious gaze.
“They’re more quiet and peaceful. Unlike in some places that has too much noise and distraction.” Ukyo finally took off his hat from his face and smiled serenely at him.
There’s that smile again that Senkuu couldn’t decipher the meaning behind. Senkuu prided on himself on being able to observe and study the people around him to decipher the true nature of their characters. That’s one of the reasons why he could see through Tsukasa’s hidden nature and radical but dangerous beliefs early on their meeting in the past. But with Ukyo, he couldn’t quite get a thorough read on him. That damn smile and pleasant voice seemed to be plaster on his face regardless if he’s upset or not. No wonder he ended up as one of the right-hand man of Tsukasa alongside with Hyoga. That kind of characteristics would work well for him as a double agent in the future. And he was certainly toying with that kind of idea at the back of his mind.
“Sensory overload.” He replied simply.
“Hmm?” Ukyo gave him a quizzical look.
“Because of your insane hearing sonar man. You need something to prevent that and it might affect your performance in the future if we just leave it be. And that’s why I’m looking for you. C’mon.” Senkuu turned around and began walking away, not waiting to see his reaction.
He almost blurted out an inconceivable mistake of admitting that he just wanted to see him out of curiosity and nothing else. He had a reputation to uphold and he didn’t want him to give any weird ideas to the cryptic archer about himself.
Ukyo seemed surprised for a few seconds, blinking at his words before a small but sincere smile hovered around his lips as he jumped down the tree and followed him.
“Thank you Senkuu.”
“Don’t thank me yet since it’s not done.” He scoffed lightly to which it earned an amuse chuckle from the other male.
He decided that Ukyo was still an enigmatic conundrum to him but he was still a man of science after all. And there were no mysteries that science can’t unravel.
The next time Senkuu saw Ukyo was when he was inside his laboratory and giving him a brief report about the progress of their ship building. He was wearing the earmuffs that he made for him the other day. It was coated in the same shade of his clothes and he surmised that it fits him very well. Not that he was ogling of course. It was a simple observation and conclusion from his scientific mind.
He would’ve created a noise cancelling headphones for him but he theorized that it would take a very long time due to the limited resources that they’ve had in the stone world and not to mention he still had other necessary projects that he needed to finish such as the ship that they’re planning to build on.
“We may need 12” x 12” lumber or larger pieces of timbers for the keel of the ship and numerous pairs of straight and curved timbers for its frames. Also—.”
“That earmuffs look good on you Ukyo-chan.” Gen sang and Ukyo stopped midway upon hearing the mentalist’s silky voice.
Senkuu immediately recognized that his mischievous undertones as bad news.
‘What the hell does this mentalist wants now?’ Senkuu inwardly grumbled as he kept his nonchalant expression on his face while he continued checking the contents of his flask for the experiment he was working on.
“Ah, thank you Gen.” Ukyo smiled amiably at him.
“Have you requested it from Senku-chan?” He asked innocently.
“No. He gave it to me willingly.”
“Oh.” Gen’s mouth formed an “o” expression and Senkuu wanted to smack off the smug expression on his face.
“Oi. Maybe if you focus on your assigned task instead of wasting your time here with idle chat that would’ve been more productive of you.” Senkuu deadpanned.
“Don’t be such an uptight spoilsport Senku-chan! Besides this is also part of our work since we’re getting to know our co-workers better through work socializing!” Gen shot him a Cheshire grin and Senkuu already smelled his bullshit just a million miles away from here. If this is any other day, he would’ve tolerated it and probably chimed in with his devious plans but since his teasing was even more or less directed towards them, to him specifically, it made him exacerbated.
“Lady luck must be smiling for you Ukyo-chan since Senkuu-chan usually takes in a request with getting something in return but not doing a voluntary philanthropic work.” Gen remarked in a sing song voice.
“Ah, it must be for practical purposes since my hearing sensitivity can affect my work in the future if it’s leave unattended. I’m sure that’s what Senkuu has in mind when he made them for me.” Ukyo held an adorable yet awkward smile on his lips, not getting the hint behind Gen’s words and teasing.
Ah, what a stark contrast to his usual sharp and complex nature. He can be maladroit towards a simple jive about him sometimes.
“Oi Gen. I’m still here.” A tick mark formed on Senkuu’s forehead.
Gen chuckled lowly and was about to respond when Kaseki dashed inside his laboratory and tugged on the collar of the mentalist much to his chagrin.
“I’ll be needing your assistance again young lad! Help me out on the recent structure that Senkuu has trusted me to work on!” Kaseki was now dragging Gen outside the laboratory.
“But you have Chrome with you now! And I still need to do something else!” Gen cried and sporting a devastated yet comical expression on his face.
“It seems like Kaseki is quite fond of Gen.” Ukyo’s eyes danced in amusement as he watched Gen was being dragged away by Kaseki outside the lab.
Senkuu scoffed. “More like Gen is being turned into his own assistant now since he doesn’t have any heavy workload every day.” He placed the flask back to its spot after studying it.
For a moment, silence hung in the air with the only occasional tinkering sounds coming from Senkuu’s side since he was experimenting on something.
“Senkuu.”
Ukyo’s tranquil voice made him glance back at the archer. “What? Do you need—” He stopped midway as he stared at the wide mouth transparent bottle with a miniature display of a moon inside. He was pleasantly surprised at the object that was sitting right in front of him.
“That’s for you.” Ukyo replied simply.
What? How? Why? These are the three questions that raced inside the scientist’s head before he gazed back at the archer who seemed unruffled by his initial reaction and was sporting one of his enigmatic smiles once again.
“What is this?” He found his voice at last.
“It’s a scaled down moon inside a transparent bottle.” Ukyo answered easily.
“I know what it is.” Senkuu deadpanned. “But what I wanted to know is why are you giving this to me? Is there something that you need from me in return?” He arched a brow.
Ukyo laughed, emitting a rich, vibrant and warm tones from his throat. It made Senkuu annoyed and entranced at the same time since it’s rare for him to hear him laughed genuinely like that.
“There is no other hidden reason Senkuu except that I just want to.” He tilted his head to the side. “I’m not sure of what other uses that you can do with it except for display purposes but I know with your brilliant mind you will utilize it in the future for your scientific endeavors.” Ukyo added warmly.
Senkuu just stared at him intently, his vermilion irises boring into his soul as if deciphering the genuineness of his words.
He chortled afterwards. “If this is your way of saying thank you to me because of the earmuffs then you really have a shred of romantic idealist within you. Like I said, I’m not the type of person you should be saying some thank you for.”
Ukyo shook his head idly. “Ah, you’re mistaking me again as like that. As I’ve told you previously I’m nothing but a coward. But after witnessing you and achieving your humanistic goals through the help of science, it made me think that it’s not quite too late. For me at least.”
A soft grin made its way to his face. “You’re such a sap sonar man. Get back to the others and help them in building that ship so that we can march on forward.”
“Of course.” Ukyo beamed at him before he bid him a quick goodbye and left.
A fond exasperation crossed the scientist’s features. When he was on the verge of finally figuring him out, another layer of his character was exposed to him that shrouded him in inscrutability. But maybe that’s how Ukyo was.
Nevertheless, he won’t get tired of peeling them away to know the intriguing truth behind his cryptic smiles and pleasant tones.
He was a man of science after all.
How exhilarating.
(A/N: I don't own any of the characters from this franchise. This was inspired by that negotiation scene of Senkuu & Ukyo in episode 7 of season 2. I was supposed to make a Senhaku oneshot but lo and behold that infamous phone conversation between Ukyo and Senku has sparked some interest and inspiration from my shipping heart. It’s filled with a little bit of a tension and intrigue from both parties. Also, Ukyo is one of the most beautiful characters in the show and he has a sexy voice. Usen is a rarepair but I’m still boarding on this ship. I'm a bit late into this fandom but sharing this story anyway. Apologies in advance for any grammatical errors as English is not my native language and if the characters are OOC. I tried my best to capture their characters similarly in the show.)

Chapter 197 Trivia (Part 1)
Everyone's back*!
Tumblr media
(*Except Ginro, Matsukaze, all the Americans, the ones in Corn City, the Treasure Islanders, the ones back at Ishigami Village…)
It wasn't clear from what little she spoke last chapter, but Suika's dropped her habit of talking about herself in the third person.
Suika's all grown up…
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
...At least in the English version. Turns out Suika does continue to refer to herself in the third person, but it was removed in the English translations. (If you can't read katakana, スイカ = Suika)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Senku's improved his crafting skills over the years, because those bottles are pretty nice.
Suika had platinum this whole time, but somehow never managed to figure out the proper method.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It always comes back to old fashioned alcohol making. Suika looks like she's having a great time, and Senku seems to have… rolled up his skirt?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Suika says she's around the same age as Kohaku, but I have doubts she's actually the same age. Kohaku is 18-19, & chronologically Suika can be no older than 19. Since we know Suika was petrified for a few years, Suika can't be as old as Kohaku. We still don't know her exact age.
Tumblr media
Senku is still awkwardly third-wheeling emotional moments. I'm happy this hasn't changed.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This type of panel appears a lot. Also, between Chelsea's introduction and now, Hyoga only said his "line" once, and that was to Kohaku after he got shot in 188, out of Chelsea's earshot. He must say it a lot outside of canon...
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The pigs Hyoga and Tsukasa skewer and skin are probably peccaries, small pigs that are found throughout SA. Mayans kept them as pets and farm animals, as well as for sacrifices.
Again, it takes time to make leather from skin but clothing is important in a shonen series.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Everyone's celebrating around the fire! Except for Ginro and Matsukaze, who have been missing all chapter. They have been revived though, as the 16 bottles made included them in the amount, and Hyoga was the 16th bottle.
Tumblr media
No one got new petrification scars, but Senku kept his probably due to the erosion. If this is the case, Luna and the other Americans should also still have their scars upon revival.
(We won't be blinded by Xeno's vast, ivory forehead.)
Tumblr media
Hyoga is asleep rather than watching Gen's show, and is also the only one of the crowd not in shadow. Is this significant? Could revival from death require more energy to be taken from the body, or is he just sleepy?
Tumblr media
I think Whyman's portraits are getting fleshier, but that could be Boichi's style changing over time.
Also, Whyman gets the villain claws both Ibara and Xeno have had, except Whyman's looks less natural and more like thick acrylic nails.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The forbidden fruit refers to the fruit growing on the tree of the knowledge of good and evil which Adam takes a bite of, exiling him and Eve from the Garden of Eden.
Outside of the bible, it refers to an immoral and/or illegal indulgence.
Remember when Senku called himself and Taiju the Adam and Eve of the stone world? I can't wait to see how this plays out.

My thoughts on Dr. Stone’s Chapter 187 (“Cyber Guerilla”)
My thoughts after reading Chapter 187:
01. (CHAPTER PARALLEL.) Chapter 187 shares interesting similarities with Chapter 151 (the chapter right after “Dr. Taiju” spoke with Dr. Xeno) 😲 Both chapters have: (1.) a cunning, intelligent person in enemy hands who gave misleading information (Francois with Stanley, Gen with Dr. Xeno); (2.) both had combatants who intended to go out on their own mission (Kohaku to rescue Suika and the others; Yo/Magma/Mantle to be heroes; (3.) both showed warriors being sent out on a specific mission (Tsukasa/Hyoga/Ukyo/Suika to capture Dr. Xeno, Tsukasa/Hyoga to help Kohaku); (4.) both showed Hyoga providing information on what actions the enemy might take (build a pirate vessel to capture the Perseus / potentially harm Nikki and the others in Corn City); and (5.) both of their last pages showed that the kingdom of science was about to fight enemies who had very advanced guns 😲 Not all of them are exactly the same (Nikki stopped Yo, Magma, and Mantle from leaving / it wasn’t specified whether Tsukasa and Hyoga were sent to Kohaku or if they decided to follow her without being told to do so). But still, there are so many parallels… impressive! 😲😁
02. (ENEMY GROUP.) They know how to track footprints? I didn’t know they taught that in the army… then again, Stanley’s the only confirmed soldier, I think. Maybe he or Dr. Xeno or somebody else taught everybody how to do that? When we see the enemy through Kohaku Vision… there are SO MANY of them! 😲 Or, wait… is she imagining them moving and that’s why it looks like there’s a lot of them even though there are actually only four enemies? Like if you were to put still video frames on top of one another? How many people does Stanley’s group have? Did the enemy group just HAPPEN to stop that close to one of Chrome’s traps? Seems like a big coincidence to me… That “FOUND… YOU!” SO reminded me of Krone from The Promised Neverland! 😲 It was even in really creepy font and speech bubbles!)
03. (GEN.) Gen, wow! 😁 Gen and Kohaku haven’t been interacting THAT much lately, so I don’t really think of him when I think of Kohaku. And while I wish it were Senku who had thought of it first, at the same time, it makes SO much sense that Gen was the one who realized that Kohaku was likely to run off by herself to rescue Suika. The two of them go way back (she threatened him when they first met, and he saw from when they made the magnets how fast she was), and he was there when Kohaku wanted to rush off to defend Kinro (after he was stabbed by Hyoga), rescue Chrome from Tsukasa (when he was in the bamboo prison), and avenge Chrome’s broken statue during the Treasure Island arc. In fact, in that same chapter (Chapter 107) Gen and Kohaku’s wrists were connected with rope, and later on, Gen deduces what Kohaku meant with her wordless written message. Because they both have really strong connections with other characters, and because they both have their own very important roles in the kingdom of science, it’s easy to sleep on (or overlook) their own unique dynamic, but Kohaku knows just how talented Gen is, and Gen knows Kohaku well enough to be able to deduce her thoughts and predict her movements. Gen impressed me in this chapter, and what’s great is that his anticipating this makes so much sense because of the groundwork that’s come before. I’ll be paying MUCH closer attention to Gen and Kohaku’s interactions from now on, that’s for sure! 😲😊
04. (KOHAKU.) I like Kohaku so much and I’m so happy whenever I see her in chapters that I’m surprised the thought of her running off after they got the news didn’t cross my mind 😲 But it’s just like her to be so concerned for her comrades, especially Suika! 😊 As she said, finding them was easy peasy because of her eyesight :P It’s so cool how she was analyzing the different enemy soldiers and their functions (leader, comms man) and their physical positions and movements! 😊 And she probably knew that person was their communications guy because he had a pack on that was similar to what the kingdom of science made in the Stone Wars arc 😁 Her vision was shown as all black, with waves emanating from everybody… wow! 😲 It reminds me of sonograms or echolocation! She looks so happy to see Tsukasa and Hyoga, which is so funny given her histories with both of them 😆 (I was looking up past chapters while writing this and while I was searching for something about Hyoga in the Stone Wars arc, Kohaku’s short scene after Mirai was depetrified made me cry, like it has ten billion times before. I LOVE that scene…) In the next frame, where Hyoga is saying that they came prepared too, Kohaku looks cute 😊 Of course, after hearing about Hyoga’s hypothetical scenario, Kohaku’s worried for the others’ safety! 😭 She’s determined for them to at least destroy the transceiver before they “die,” but… I don’t want Kohaku to die!!! 😲😭 And after Maya finds them, Hyoga thinks they’re going to die, Tsukasa thinks they’re going to die, and… Kohaku thinks they’re going to die 😭 Kohaku’s gritting her teeth, and the thick line on the right side of her mouth makes it SORT of look like she’s confident and ready for battle, but usually when manga/anime characters grit their teeth and you can’t see their eyes, it’s a bad thing, right? Like they’re stressed or scared or about to cry? 😔 She looks much more confident on the next page when she talks about how she never imagined that the three of them would march into battle together 😊 But I’m still worried about them, especially Kohaku… 😔
05. (HYOGA.) Hyoga, who defied Kohaku’s expectations before when he helped her up like a gentleman, noticed that Kohaku was evaluating the enemy 😊 I don’t think he will, but imagine if Hyoga betrayed them at this critical juncture. They’re not using a cable car in the middle of nowhere anymore; he would be a very useful informant for Stanley AND Hyoga’s likely to get along with Dr. Xeno and Stanley’s group because they really do things properly 😲 He has a really good point about destroying the enemy’s transceiver! “Please think about it for a moment.” I can just imagine Hyoga saying that in a really posh, polite way (with “kudasai” at the end), even in the situation they’re in 😆 Of course, I could be totally wrong, haha! When Hyoga started talking about slicing off Dr. Xeno’s body parts… WOW 😲 And look at his eyes – they’re open JUST the TINIEST bit, which makes him look even more menacing – and that’s taking into account the previous page where him with his eyes open looked scary enough ALREADY… and he got creepy speech bubble borders to go with his chilling plans! When they heard what he said, Kohaku looked “whuuut,” but Tsukasa kind of seems like he’s rolling his eyes, like, “Ugh, here we go, he’s talking about slicing off fingers and toes, AGAIN…” 🙄 Hahaha! 😁 He’s not even really horrified or anything 😆
06. (SENKU.) Senku had his finger to his lips, like he wanted them to be quiet, even though they were firing a literal GUN 😆 And the plastic container thing was a good idea! 😊
07. (TSUKASA.) Tsukasa’s pretty familiar with twenty-first century fighting and warfare (he was a melee fighter back then, so he wasn’t using guns or anything, but he DID know what materials Senku needed for gunpowder), so he knows that their chances of defeating enemies with guns aren’t very high… 😔 Tsukasa knows combat theory… wow! 😲 Oh… I never thought of the Corn City people as hostages! 😔 Can somebody explain to me the advantages of using Tsukasa’s weapon? Um… I guess if you’re fighting somebody in front of you and somebody behind you, you can swing it at both of them? Or if you’re whirling into a group of enemies like a hurricane, it prevents anybody from reaching you?
08. (UKYO.) Ukyo looked so cute when he was holding up that fluffy boom microphone thing to record the gunshot sound 😁 And it’s cool to see him in his element (like him explaining sound effects in movies… to a stone age person like Chrome, of all people 😆 But to Senku too, I suppose, haha!) (and like him saying to layer the sounds on top of each other; very smart!), because his skill is really unique! 😊
09. (FINAL THOUGHTS.) I liked this chapter! 😁 Kohaku played a major role AND I got to see characters I know and care about (instead of getting so many no-text panels of the enemy group) AND those characters were conversing intelligently about their situation! 😊 But, at the end… the kingdom of science’s warriors three MOST POWERFUL WARRIORS, all three of them, are leaping down to battle enemies that ALREADY have GUNS pointed at them. GUNS! Held by PROFESSIONALS! How…? I mean… I know I shouldn’t worry. Hyoga’s too interesting a character to kill off now; Tsukasa has been in the story so long and had those moon-related conversations with Senku; and Kohaku has been such an important character since she made her first appearance – if I remember correctly, she’s only been far away from Senku twice since they met: her infiltration mission on Treasure Island and when she, Chrome, and Gen were looking for Dr. Xeno’s fortress. I KNOW Kohaku’s not going to die. I KNOW that. But… look at the situation they’re in!! 😭 They’re not civilians or prisoners of war… they’re combatants, and not only that, but they’re THE combatants who stormed Dr. Xeno’s fortress and captured him! There will be NO mercy for the enemy for these three! 😲 So… hmm… well, what’s coming to mind now is that if Hyoga pretends to betray them, he could buy them time… or will the Medusa be used? Either Senku’s group will petrify everybody fighting using Chrome’s trap (good thing he made those!), or Tsukasa and Hyoga actually have the Medusa with them right now (we saw Senku holding it, but he could have given it to them before they left) and it just hasn’t been revealed yet. Ah… okay, I feel better now 😊 There are ways that this can turn out fine, and we’ll all find out next week what happens next! 😁
