"Ooh!" She exclaimed again as he demonstrated how he could use an ice-powered punch. "It's so cool how you can do all these things!" In comparison, her powers almost felt boring - she could never use them that creatively, or at least she couldn't think of any way to do so!

"Hmm, flight... you can lift the water. If you had a tube like belt or something like that around you filled with water, couldn't you lift yourself along with it?" Though, then she gasped as she continued that thought, and quickly corrected the idea. "Oh, but no, better don't try that! If it doesn't hold you, you'd fall!" Which would be fine in a training situation, where she could always stick close to him and catch him, but if they were actually doing something alike a fight, it could be that she couldn't be there to catch him in time. And that wasn't a nice thought, very much the contrary.

"And I developed another trick." He pulled the water up around his arm, freezing it into a very dense ice. "I'm no where near as strong as you buuuuuuuttt. With the force of the ice as well. I can probably pack a pretty good punch." He smiled at her as he let the water melt, proceeding to rub the arm to warm it back up. "It's just a matter of getting it quickly enough...haven't figured out how to replicate your flying yet. Dunno if I can do that one with water." He admitted as he rubbed the back of his head sheepishly.

She giggled at the joke. Her lingering embarrassment over running into someone now gone. “Ok. Good.” She smiled in relief as she brushed herself off. “No. It’s my fault, really. My name is Darla!” She then shook his hand. “This might be a dumb question, but… are you from around here? I’m kiiiinda lost.”

Darla didn't like to walk alone. While she's gotten better at her depth perception, it was still a bit off. Despite her best efforts, she still tended to run into things or in this case, people. She didn't have enough time to catch herself and was expecting to meet the solid ground. Confusion quickly overtook any feelings of embarrassment or apology she would have felt in this situation. She must have missed this before.

"Yeah, sorry. It's not your fault, really. I have bad eyesight, so…" She trailed off. Feeling like that explained enough. She then shook her head at the offer, forgetting he was blind for a second. "Oh no! I'm ok! I'm still learning not to walk into things. Are you ok?" She asked before getting up.

"I would never fault you for such a thing. I, too, am a very busy person without a lot of free time."

The flowers were accepted, eyes closing as she takes a moment to enjoy their fragrance. A few steps are taken, so that she can place the flowers in a vase of water. Sometimes people lost touch, and she wondered if that was what happened here, yet the man was back, which in true, sparked a joy in her heart.

"I do hope you will come in. I feel certain that there must have been a reason why you were gone for such a period of time, whether good, or bad."

Angelic, if there was a word Obi would use to describe her voice it'd be that. He hadn't been sure how long it had been for her since she had seen him, but for him it had been about ten months. Dimensional travel was tricky, he did however bring a gift, as an apology if it had been as long or even longer for her. By her window he was sitting on the architecture. As she finished her tune he held the flowers out by her window. "Hope this is enough to say Sorry I haven't been around in a good while." While recognizably Obi he sounded a bit worse for wear, a general exhaustion around him. Hence the vacation he needed.

Obi defied his blindness daily. Most people chalked it up to him knowing his way around through several years of practice. This was partially true. However, there was always the variable of people. People didn't always make note of him, and as a result, the occasional crash would happen. Thus was the situation of this day, crashing into someone much shorter than he, not a common thing for him to do. Reflexively he had made a soft patch of snow for her to fall into. A Quick whip of his hand on the colder day made it seem like, the snow had always been there.

His cane in his hand he quickly went over to her. "I'm very sorry, are you alright?" He sensed her form over, she may have been about 3 years younger than him? Hard to tell. He crouched down to get to her level more clearly. "It's alright, just lemme know if I can help."

"I don't doubt it!" Honestly, his powers, especially how he managed to recreate things with the water, sometimes so incredibly detailed, were rather impressive, and Mar'i was really glad to have such a wonderful friend as Obi.

Excited to see his creation, Mar'i didn't say anything else to let him start, and watched the presentation. "Ooh!", she commented as the projectiles flew towards the water-enemies. "That looked great!" That probably wasn't all she should say, but it definitely was the first impression. "I think you're doing a great job with these water-ice bolts, Obi!" Of course her starbolts weren't exactly turning into something solid to hit enemies, but, water alone would do nowhere near as good damage as ice could do, so him making ice-bolts made a lot of sense. "Those will be really useful for attacking in the distance!" That's where that attack-type worked best, after all.

"Okay Mari, I think I've gotten this down really well." He was standing by the water side with her. He had been practicing some techniques to mirror hers. He could never get her flight down. However her star bolts, that he could maybe replicate. He would breathe in as he summoned up a few targets, just dudes he would see in his day to day in gotham.

"Okay." He summoned up a few pools of water around his arms, as he thrust forward they would freeze into sharp bolts of ice as he knocked down each one with amazing accuracy. "Whatcha think?" He asked earnestly, seemingly wanting to mirror his friend in their techniques.
