the sheer amount of confusing sbi lore it fixes, working flawlessly with any and all design headcanons, integrating perfectly into the themes of his character (always searching and wanting for a Home and family more than anything), the way it somehow makes him being turned into a torture experiment Even Worse

You know what is very funny about c!Dream being so human?? That he is still one of the scariest people even with the technically more powerful or impressive hybrids roaming the server! Like this guy is so human he unnerves the non humans!! Like… who the hell is human in the sever??

WORD. I like to play around with hybrid designs but ultimately my favorite cdream design is human :) I'm probably in the minority for this one, but i imagine Most characters as human on the server with some small exceptions (techno, sam, ranboo, & maybe a few others that aren't coming to mind rn). I even think of c!philza as being human before his wife smacked wings on him & gave him effective immortality. so for me, it isn't so much that he unnerves the nonhumans but that he unnerves his fellow humans, who expected him to be Something More. but he's just a kid, like they are. & Dreams alliances are mostly nonhuman, kind of like how he tries to abandon his humanity and become something more. he wishes he were more. everyone else wishes the same

Nighttime

Bambi!Wanda x Reader

You put the twins down for bed, their energy levels have been thru the roof since they started kindergarten. Honestly it was a blast helping them with their homework. Funny enough you and Wanda were already teaching them a lot of the stuff they were learning before they even entered the walls of a school.

“Goodnight Poppa” Billy whispers as you turn to leave the bedroom.

“Night Pop” Tommy says with a giggle. You loved being called Poppa or Pop.

“Night boys” you gave them a quick smile and turned off the lights.

You walked down the stairs to find your loving doe of a bride laying on the couch. Wanda was wearing her favorite pair of pajama shorts and matching blouse. Her pregnant belly was beginning to peak out from under her shirt. You thought it was the cutest sight in all of existence. Your mate was just finishing up a burrito.

“Hey my doe” you smiled as you sat down next to her.

“Hey my buck” she smiles back. “I was just feeding our little girl. She wanted a greasy burrito.”

“Girl after my own heart,” you chuckle. “Was it delicious?”

“A little” your mate giggles, “why?”

“Cause I bet it wasn’t as delicious as you are”

And with that you playfully launch at your wife, playfully kissing her belly and blowing light raspberries too. Wanda couldn’t help but laugh.

“Stop it!” She tries to say thru her laughs. “Our baby’s gonna think you’re weird!”

“Too late” you retorted, placing one last gentle kiss to her belly. You found your mind wandering. A wife, two little boys and a little girl on the way, or so you hoped. It was all so perfect.

A few tears made their way down your face.

“Detka? What’s wrong?” Wanda’s fingers gently massage your head, combing thru your hair.

“Nothing. Thank you for choosing me, my doe”

“Oh detka.” Wanda begins to tear up a little too. She bends down and kisses your lips tenderly.

“Thank you” she whispers right back.

Hybrid AU in exile arc where avian instincts can take over to a degree that is almost horrific, erasing someone’s personality and rationality when they’re panicking. 

During exile week, Tommy’s abuser takes advantage of the fact, acting nice and doing traditional avian parental behaviors like cooing or wing grooming. They’re way too intimate and make Tommy uncomfortable but as time goes on and he’s starving for affection (and doesn’t want to get punished) Tommy doesn’t resist like he used to. It’s relaxing, or is until the fingers combing through his feathers stop and he remembers to shudder.

During one grooming session, his abuser asks to keep some of his feathers to wear. In avian culture that’s a very intimate familial practice, a mixture between a claim to signify a close bond as well as a promise to carry the person as safely as their own two wings. Tommy’s gut rolls at the thought of his abuser wearing his feathers, and he can’t tell if it’s excitement or dread. But he’s learned not to say no by then, and tries not to flinch as his long pretty primaries are cut. 

An impulsive little stab of happiness shoots through his chest every time he sees his feathers fanning out of his abuser’s mask. He automatically feels a little safer when he sees the feathers, which the rest of Tommy is kind of freaked about. He’s starting to lose his grip on what’s him and what’s his instincts, even if his abuser keeps assuring him to trust his gut since listening to his stupid ideas is what got him in this mess in the first place. The negging is still happening of course, Tommy being weak and too fragile and useless to be able to fly. A chick like him isn’t safe on his own. Tommy doesn’t leave because something inside him is terrified of abandoning the ‘nest’ even though his real home is in L’Manburg.

After putting his stuff in a pit, Tommy accidentally stands too close. The blast catches him. Not the first time, one caught him a day or two ago and he rounded upon his abuser, cursing him out rather stupidly. But now Tommy drops to the ground, feathers fluffed up and pupils dilated as he freezes on the spot. The only movement he can manage is to reach for the man who hurt him in the first place. His distressed chirping noises are only capable of ceasing once he’s in his abuser’s arms. Or rather, his guardian’s embrace. Afterward, Tommy follows him everywhere, until he’s scolded at the nether portal, forced to wait until he comes back. It’s hours before Tommy realizes what he’s doing. The separation is agonizing.

He’s finally imprinted. Took the brat long enough. But Tommy is finally, finally in the palm of his hand, instincts ensnared in a chokehold.

Quick, what about c!Tommy always needing to fiddling with something in his hands because it’s soothes him? And he used to chew on his sweater and nails but c!Tubbo went ‘Nope, not on my watch’ and made him a ring toy he could chew on without hurting his teeth.

And if you’re for the hybrid demon c!Tommy headcanon, him and c!Ranboo sometimes chirp at each other happily, both their tails wagging.

(Tubbo has no idea what they are saying or if they actually understand each other, but they’re bonding and he’s happy about that)

c!Tommy having the instinct to chew on things will never not be one of my favorite headcanons, I like to think the habit started when he was still a little lad; which is why it's so soothing to him.

"loving to the point of invention" is SO c!Tubbo and no one can tell me otherwise!!

I'd be willing to bet money that c!Tommy would forget about the ring when he's too deep in thought and will instead just chew whatever is in hand, including someone else's hand. c!Beeduo have horror stories and scars to prove it.

When Michael started teething, everyone thought it was because of c!Tommy and the fact Michael had already started copying a few of his other behaviors (including his resting angry face, funnily enough). It took c!Ranboo actually doing research via asking c!Phil for them to learn it was normal.

I think it'd be so funny if c!allium duo did chirp at each other but only one of them was actually communicating and the other was just mindlessly chirping, and I can't for the life of me figure out who would be who. Like, one of them think about how cool it is that they're able to communicate with their hybrid sounds despite being different species and the other being extremely happy to just mindlessly make and copy noises.
