Sealand in a human AU is kind of tricky, because at one hand I love his parent-child relationship with Sweden, but at the other hand I ALSO love him with England. Additionally, while I don't MIND EngSwe I usually have other pairings I prefer over them.

With that said I'm starting to like the idea of Sweden being Sealand's old babysitter and/or England's neighbor/friend who Sealand hang out with a lot (because well, Ladonia too). It'd give them a pretty similar relationship to canon while still making sense. Besides, I can def. see England being someone who work a lot, and since I hc Sweden as blind and having back-pain because of his height he'd likely not work as many hours/long days (at least compared to England) - if even at all. (I guess it depends on if Sweden would be able to find a suitable job somewhat close to where he lives).

Anyway, my point is that most people don't WANT to leave their young(er) kids home alone too many hours each day. If England and Sweden are neighbors, friends, and have children in the same school it makes sense they'd probably start helping each other out. Why have both of them pick up one kid each when Sweden or England can just pick up both and meet up at home? (Again, this is working with the premise that they're friends or at least on friendly terms willing to cooperate with the kids though).

This world basically assumes you're 2 parents anyway, and it would def. help having someone in your corner. If Sweden picks up Ladonia AND Sealand after school because of his shorter work hours then perhaps England does something else to return the favour - like doing the grocery shopping, drive Sweden to appointments or pitch in if Sweden's disability money aid is delayed/being a hassle with arriving.

If England is the one working more it would also explain why Sweden has a closer relationship with Sealand than what England shares with Ladonia. England and Ladonia wouldn't spend as much time together as Sweden and Sealand.

Fun fact I didn't know until I started researching for this: apparently when someone looses an eye, it's possible that the other eye adapts. This is not good in the beginning as the remaining eye stops working for a while (???!). While long term it's not as noticeable (just less field of vision and some problems with depth perception sometimes) it's, uh... interesting :,D

Correct me if I'm wrong about this tho. I did my research, but sometimes there's misinformation out there so don't trust it 100% without checking it first.

I'm grieving so badly over the quotes I remember that I never got to write down, so I'm going to draw a bunch of doodles with the quotes I still remember before I thankfully forget it forever. And to the people doing gcses right now, let's celebrate the end of having to memorise quotes from british plays by getting sloshed over champers and then drink more seeing as we have more exams this week!!! :D

wanting to expirement with his main outfit (aka the one ill draw most often) as well as playing with colours (or rather the lack of) inspired by posts abt tsp n their association with colours, n thought a full white would be interesting, since the windows of the office are white voids (in the 2013 version, some also show to be pulsing, which ik might be bc of the lighting for the rooms, but i thought it would be a cool idea of that pulsing meant it was alive) as well as the possibility of narry's outfit changing colours depending on mood.

I know the fandom has flipped flopped from “Chick magnet Gilbert” to “Gilbert has never had sex in his life” and while the latter is so fucking funny there is just not a chance in hell Gilbert (or 99% of the countries, actually) is a virgin

Idk it’s just like… this creature has been alive for nearly if not 1,000 years at this point. You’re telling me he didn’t have sex ONCE? Idk I don’t really subscribe to the notion that “Gilbert is a loser and doesn’t have sex” maybe im biased idk. I also think he is unintentionally seductive with the way he acts, the attitude he puts out and the aura surrounding him has seduced many the enemy and many the foe, they just think he’s a promiscuous little hussy but he literally just acts like that for no damn reason.

What I do support however is Gilbert never having sex with a woman. All his past sexual encounters have been with men. Brother has never felt the touch of a woman in his life.
