i think one of my favorite things about the loustat reunion (apart from my being a loustat shipper) is something that i believe jacob himself touched on: after all of the horror that we saw, the message it carries is so incredibly optimistic. in a gothic story about undead monsters who survive on the death of others, we are given the possibility of growth and change. we may not have as long as they do but just like lestat and louis we have the opportunity to become better versions of ourselves until the very day that we die. just as they do we have the ability to learn until our last breath. we don't always have to forgive each other the way they did but we can always move on. every one of us. and that makes me feel just a little bit better about myself.

OKAY SO LIKE UH, I love Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines set up and setting - so I've been reimagining the Stakebait coterie and etc as the main characters of its plot... So here's Ralph and Khlo culminating their relative slowburn romance during the game. Bathed in the bisexual lighting of some California city in the middle of a sect war just finding love in the dark places!! I'm sorry this is a break sketch that got out of handddd. (my cheesy write up beneath the cut!)

Ralph: *The Nosferatu Thinblood stares out at the city below them, the two Kindred bathed in neon. He doesn't look at her as he begins his nervous confession.* "I just think you're... so cool." Khloe: *She looks a bit taken aback that someone she thinks is pretty impressive likes her in any capacity. She doesn't think very highly of her looks. For a moment, she looks down, taking into account what she should do next. She decides to be brave and to take hold of what she wants - him. Khloe's hand reaches out and takes Ralph's shoulder to give the both of them a foundation.* Khloe: "I-I think you're very cool, too." *It feels like the hardest thing in the world to say. It feels like the easiest thing she could ever say.* Ralph: *He finally turns and looks at her, obviously nervous as the both of them feel their still beating - despite it all - hearts pounding.* "Yeah?" Khloe: *She doesn't break eye contact.* "Yeah." Ralph: "Oh." *He almost falls into her as his clawed hands wrap around her head, cradling her as they both lean in to kiss the other.* "Thank God."

Leonardo and Yuichi cook together as often as they can but Leonardo, being a morning person and a good househusband, is exclusively in charge of breakfast 🥞

(Hana got the Usahana nightshirt for Yuichi as a father's day gift because she thought it was hilarious. Yuichi also thinks it's hilarious but also very very sweet)

she chose UB and The Agency over the detective so consistently, so frequently, that her team didn't even consider that she had some kind of life outside of them, with someone waiting for her at home

there’s few things that are more disappointing than when you finish a really good book, go online to find fandom content and there’s maybe 3 fanart pieces, a dozen fics and the most of the posts are from three years ago when the fandom was actually active.

actually fucking losing my mind over how kai, whenever he sees that cinder is uncomfortable does anything he can to make her more comfortable. like when he bought her silk gloves because he knew she didn’t take her gloves off & that she wouldn’t take them off in front of him. he literally apologized when cinder is mortified that he saw her medical records, “you were a fugitive and i needed to know more about you and i... i'm sorry.“ we see her internal thoughts, “she squeezed her eyes shut. she'd seen the diagram of her cyborg implants. every wire. every synthetic organ. every manufactured panel. thinking about it made her feel nauseous. she couldn't imagine what someone else would think when they saw it. what kai must have thought.” he realizes that it is a big deal to her and apologizes. when she shows him her retina display in her eye, he calls it brilliant, and gets her consent before removing her wrists from her face. and not to mention this beautiful scene, “a tingle traipsed down her spine at how he was studying her, almost in childish awe, and how he was so close, and how he was still holding her wrists. he seemed to realize it at the same time. his expression changed suddenly, and she knew he wasn't looking at the retina display anymore, or even her synthetic eyes, he was looking at her.” and not to mention, at the end of winter when he tells cinder, “i don't care if you wear military boots and cargo pants. i just might. good.” he understands that she does not like wearing dresses, and wants to make sure she’s comfortable.
