Did I search all the times Gon explicitively expressed his affection to Killua? Yes, yes I did. Do I regret it? No, no I don't.

I decided to choose the manga since it's what Togashi wrote. However, it is important to note that there are a lot of more times if we add both versions of the anime and the movies. In addition to this, I chose the most explicit times in which Gon expressed himself so there is no misunderstanding. (Though I do think it's basically the whole manga.)

This post is hella long and had to be divided into parts, so bear with me. This is just the beginning. (Edit: Here's the link of the full post.)

Hunter Exam arc

When they first met and Gon was impressed by Killua's trick.

2. Gon happy to be with Killua and to explore with him.

3. Gon's interest in Killua's family, and surprising Killua in the process.

4. Gon being impressed by Killua's technique, curious about it and expressing "Killua is an amazing guy."

5. Gon defending Killua against Illumi and seeing right through the situation.

6. Gon swearing to take Killua away from Illumi.

Zoldyck Family arc

7. Gon's refusal for the Zoldyck's intent on separating themselves from the rest of the world and more than ready to climb the wall if it is to reach Killua.

8. Gon's phonecall with Gotoh.

9. Gon's intent on climbing up the wall to reach Killua.

10. Gon accepts to train if it means he will reach Killua.

11. Gon getting hit over and over again if it means he will reach Killua.

12. Gon playing against Gotoh while waiting for Killua.

13. Gon happy to see Killua again.

14. Gon impressed by Killua's ability to know other's strenghts, and embarrassing Killua in the process.

Heavens Arena arc

15. Gon relying on Killua's advice to win.

16. Gon happy because Killua wanted to go to his house.

Just lil scenarios, most of them are punishments- fem pronouns but not necessarily a girl

Neko idea comes from: @i-killed-a-prostutute but the scenarios arent very similar... you should go see their posts with killua if your lookin for softer content

Killua:

"Baka" he said indifferently, his nails getting ever so slightly sharper until he feels like they're sharp enough for what he's about to do..

"So cute..." He scratched at your tail with his sharpened nails and watched you recoil. Your tail was already swishing much to your own dismay as well as killuas delight watching your tail try to escape his sharp nails

"Stooop!" You begged him "Bad neko" your mistake hits you rather quickly-you spoke english- "Mew" the shameful noise made you cringe but it was better than the torturous sensation of his nails on your overstimulated tail

"Thats better" his nails finally retracted, his hand removing itself from your tail; relief washes over you as you collapse onto the cushiony couch that rested behind you with your tail hopefully out of his reach for now. He quickly grabbed his phone, sitting next to your trembling form before calling gon. the phone only ringing for a few moments before gon answers the call "Hey" killua sounds slightly interested

"Hi!" gon exclaimed happily from the other side "How is your neko doing?" he inquiries gleefully "She's adjusting okay" killua says nonchalantly, as if he wasn't torturing you with those god awful nails just a few minutes ago

"How about you, gon?"

Gon:

You couldn't think, you tried to keep your thoughts in tact but its impossible with the way he's messing with your fluffy ears. Gon put his hand on his chin like he was thinking about his answer to the question "How are you doing?" he smiled innocently at you while you looked back with pleading eyes pricked with tears "Too much, bad" you spoke quietly, slightly surprised you could still manage to speak english in your heavily drugged form

"She's doing fine, are you sure these drugs are supposed to make her this tired?" killua takes an angry tone "Are you petting her as well?" gon smiles cheekily "Duh!" he exclaims happily before he seems surprised that killua is practically screaming at him "Thats why, you baka!" killua gets a little calmer "I'm about to try them on my neko after the call anyway" gon makes excited noises and pets your ears even faster

Gon smiles "Alright, remember, be nice to your neko!" gon warns him and killua just laughs "I'm always nice, isn't that right?" killua asks his neko jokingly; his neko just hisses at him in response.

"Alright, well, im gonna have to punish my neko for a bit, ill call you after" gon and killua say they're goodbyes, gon pulling you into his lap once the call ends

"Did you like that?" he questioned, his hands drifting towards your already overstimulated ears his expression getting a bit more disappointed when you shake your head "oh well, we'll get you out of that skittish neko behavior quickly" his smile was worrying, but the fact that his hands rested on your ears again was horrifying

"Sit still" he commanded, slightly annoyed at how your squirming on his lap but he manages to wrap his legs tightly around you to atleast keep you from running. "Thats better, now, i dont think ive tried your tail yet" the innocence in his voice remains, even as he reaches for your tail

Illumi:

"This behavior is strange for a neko" he spoke coldly as he stared at your form cower away from him, a collar around your neck of his own doing. "If you do not behave, i may be forced to bring you over here" his expression remained blank even through the slight annoyance slipping into his voice

He motioned you over, the threat still hanging in the air, the tension finally breaks when you approach him. "Good" his lips twitch upward in a ghost of a smile

"Sit down, if you would" you sit wearily on the small floral couch, the nearly vintage pattern was a bit comforting to look at but it didn't distract you from the assassin sitting next to you no matter how hard you tried to just focus on running your fingers over the slightly faded florals etched into the fabric

"Would you like some catnip?" there was a small bag of catnip laying on the end table next to illumi, which he quickly opened and poured a small amount into his palm before holding his hand out to your face

"Oh." he tilts his head a bit before grabbing your jaw, the catnip eventually goes into your mouth before he holds your nose making you swallow after about a minute "Perhaps do not resist next time" he spoke without malice, but with a hint of teasing implications

The catnip slowly entered your bodies system, causing you to curl up in order to try and calm yourself down "Im going to observe you, do not resist" he poked your ear gently, inching closer

"good neko" he smiles at your trembling form

Feitan:

"Bad" his voice rang through the dungeon-like room, the shock collar buzzing once more around your neck "f-Mmm" for someone who didn't believe you should speak english unless he gave permission, he certainly wasn't making it easy not to curse or scream instead you had to hold your tongue and just keep meowing

"Bad girl" he knew what he was doing, he knew that he was making your mind crumble a, he knew that this was pure torture for you to have that collar on as well as being degraded

"Get over here, or this is going to continue" you scurried over to his lap like your life depended on it, sighing of relief when the collar finally stops shocking you; He gives you a look before pulling you slightly closer

"Stay still" you gulp, but you remain still for him, desperate for mercy or at the very least praise

"Mm" he gives a hum of satisfaction as he runs his nails down your tail and scratches the base of your ears "good" he feels you relax a little bit, smiling when he does

"Your so lucky your cute, otherwise i would have broken your legs and pulled your claws out when you tried to scratch me"

Uvogin:

"PUT ME DOWN!" you screamed as uvogin held you by the scruff of your neck like you were a kitten "Nah" he says indifferently as he kept you a few feet off the ground

"Please?" you stopped your thrashing for a moment, waiting for him to hopefully put you down "Hmm, are you gonna run?" you sigh and shake your head "Eh" he throws you onto the nearby carpet with a loud thud as your back meets the floor

"Ow..." you mumble and dig your claws into the carpet a bit to steady yourself, lessening the drop, "Oi, dont mess up my carpet" he glares at you for a moment

"I think feitan can declaw you anyway.." you whimper "P-please dont!" the shame was piling on hard at the stutter in your voice and the desperation he could see on your face

"Than keep your claws away, ill get you a damn scratching post" he groans a little bit and you hear him slam the front door as he exits the room

Well, at least you'd have something to sink your claws into

Shalnark:

One fucking catnap, without his prying eyes, was all you wanted at this point. He was always recording you but it was so much more intense when you would do anything that most would typically consider to be "neko-like" which was already degrading enough without his phone shoved in your face while you try to sleep

He wouldn't listen, after all, have you ever listened to a cat just because it meowed? "Go away" you mumbled as he sat watching you like a hawk

"I'm gonna brush you after that nap" he smiled at your reaction to his threat "you prick!" you exclaimed, still tired, grooming was nearly impossible with shal because he constantly wanted to have an easy way of punishment-And boy, he knew how much you hated that goddamned grooming brush- Alas; he was not in the mood to be consoled about this

"Jerk" you closed your eyes, slightly thankful you atleast got to sleep

"sweet dreams.." he took a picture of your sleeping form..

The way you write them feels very nice and Canon.

I wonder can I get a scenario about illumi, ending the life of his first ever friend (he was a teenager and he met the reader SOMEHOW and they formed a secret and forbidden friendship) because his mother kikyo gaslighted him that the reader is a pest to his life etc..

I wonder how much this will have impact on him :)

Illumi opened the door. Zeno sat in the dimly lit chamber, and the decorations never failed to disturb Illumi, despite all the horrid things he's seen. Zeno's eyes shot up to his direction, then examined him. Illumi felt every organ in him tighten up. "You do understand why you're here, correct?" Zeno asked, pouring another cup on tea before sipping it,"Yes, grandfather." He replied. The older man pointed to a seat next to him, a simple 'sit'. Illumi did as he was told and sat, plenty of things ran through his mind, like a childish wish hoping that it was about his low performances while training, not how he can't help but hang out with a certain someone.

"You can't seem to listen, I suppose. As your parents have said, today and tomorrow will be the most crucial times of your life if I'm sincere." He said before soothing out his beard. Illumi poured himself a cup of tea, too. He drank some. The first thing he noticed was that it contained magnolia flowers and how it was your favorite. How bad have you screwed his brain? Zeno coughed, gaining Illumi's attention back. "Illumi, I'm not going to say names, but get rid of them. Kikyo will be accompanying you to make sure of it." Zeno informed, before standing up and walking out the room. Illumi's eyes widen, surely that was too much. The door opened again, and he heard shuffling and then heels clacking, His mother made herself known by dusting her maroon ballgown and fixing the single feather on her hat.

Kikyo firmly touched his shoulder. He looked at and noticed she was grinning out of pure delight. "I only want the best you. I say it's time to solve your problem." She chimed. You'd be in the woods as usual, telling Illumi about the newest gossip in your town. If you were lucky enough, Illumi would be so interested that he'd go easedropping with you, even though it'd be borderline stalking. You stood by a tree, trying to collect and break open the nuts. When illumi walked behind you, a change in the air was noticeable. You turnt around slowly, "Illumi, nice haircut. What took you so long?" You asked. "Nothing." He responded, Illumi looked back. Kikyo was hiding in the trees, watching him. He furrowed his eyebrows. "Can you crack these open?"

You tossed it to Illumi. He smiled for a bit. "I suppose you're not trying to break more teeth," He snagged before crushing it with his hand. The shell fell off, and he handed it to you. The ground shook, a sign from his mother to make it quick. You gave another one to illumi. Now, he extends his arm as if throwing something. "I was like fourteen. That baby tooth had to go!" You reasoned. You imbecile. Why expose how long you've been friends? But then again, how would you know. He aimed and threw it toward you at lighting speed. While trying duck, it went straight throught and your heart. Blood gushed out of you before hitting the ground. His mother came from out the shadows. She pressed a button on her communication device. "Inform the bulters that Mike will be given a small treat."

[So, if you don't understand, Illumi used the walnut to spike Y/n in the head, leading to their ultimate death. And then the corpse is then fed to Mike, the guard dog. This takes place when Illumi is about sixteen (hence, illumi has short hair), when the family discovers Alluka has a entity, Nanika within her.

a small detail i can't get over with

After Killua wins against the Ortho siblings, he falls and can't stand up again because he lost a lot of blood. He's starting to lose consciousness while feeling sad and apologetic about Gon. At the same time he's accepting his destiny, the drawing gets softer and softer, as if he's really going to disappear. The large white spaces also show that not only he's alone but he's about to die.

However, on the next page, Ikalgo appears holding his hand. Killua is still drawn soft, as if he's about to disappear, but Ikalgo looks much solid. In the first panel, Killua is drawn with soft lines in contrast with his hand and Ikalgo's tentacle, which look more solid. I really like how it shows that, in this case, Ikalgo is the one who is able to stand his ground and is going to save him. He's bringing him back.

If I'm gonna be honest, Togashi draws Killua in this way more than once. Those times are when he's sad about Gon, just after Gon said or did something that makes him feel bad (I would say, that breaks his heart). The lines are extremely soft, as if he's about to disappear (or even getting further away too), and his eyes look empty.

In my interpretation, I'm adding the "as if he's about to disappear", though probably it's just to show Killua in the light while Gon is more and more in the dark. Togashi uses this technique a lot during the Chimera Ant arc!

The Gon and Killua's drawings deserve a whole different post of analysis (there's a lot to say about it), but I wanted to include them since it's something I notice Togashi does a lot and it kinda relates to the Ikalgo and Killua's scene!

By the way, these are just my thoughts, not a deep analysis. Just for fun!

“oh but he was abused too :(” okay… and? the entire zoldyck family was abused. the zoldyck parents were probably abused as children by THEIR parents/family as well. they’re still abusive & manipulative pieces of shit, product of their environment or not.

abusing others bc you were abused is NOT an excuse— in fact, that’s actually WORSE, bc you’re subjecting someone to that same torture you experienced/experience just bc… it happened to you? 💀 like, what? yes, it can explain their actions & make them make sense, but they’re not excusable or “okay” in the slightest. hell, it’s barely even sympathetic to me.

plus, killua & alluka/nanika are direct products of their environment as well, and they aren’t terrible pieces of shit who abuse others— they’re kind & caring, and they (killua especially) strives to be a good/better person; they all have naturally kind, good hearts.

Feitan has so many icks, his obvious inability to talk to anyone even if he really does love someone is a pretty obvious one. Even when he does choose to actually talk to you? its more than likely about some form or technique of a torture he has performed/heard about

He doesn't always mean to be so mean or quiet-even if he does love when you get uncomfortable and tense up around him- He really does want you to be able to relax around him- But, he would also rather swallow a phillips head screw-driver than tell you he enjoys being around you, he cant stand the idea of using the L word....love

Can you blame him? He grew up without an official identity, parents, or any advantages.

Another ick of feitans is that-He doesnt mean to be rude- But his compliments are...strange? It can range from just telling you that you have beautiful eyes, hed love to keep them, to cutting off a small piece of your hair randomly. Of course, he hasnt even considered that the reason you immediately cover your eyes after the keeping them comment is because of something he was doing wrong! He doesnt get it, he tries to be less creepy if your really nice about it, but it normally just makes it go from "Your nails are pretty, theyd look good on a necklace" To "Your nails are pretty, im going to keep you here forever" All in all, its a mere game of picking your poison whether it be threats of taking body parts or promises of eternity in his musty old basement

How could i forget, his...oversharing about his job can be rather unpleasant to anyone who isnt, y'know, a full blown sadistic torturer. Never watch any show/movie with a torture scene unless you want him to demonstrate on his next job, or he might show you a video of his doing it on recording it as a "joke" and he will probably just laugh sadistically if you push away or flinch at a specifically gruesome part

He might even pry your eyes open....While talking about maybe making that comment about keeping your eyes a reality....Just kidding! Hes not gonna kill you, he still doesnt get why your crying? Hes letting you blink- In his eyes- enough. Your such a baby, its just a video!

Lucky for you, its only about 10min long! He turns on some movie he stalked you while you watched it just so happens to know is one of your favorites....Dont worry about getting punished for the little freak-out, if anything, he might just buy you some subscription to a streaming service as a little joke back at you!

All in all, he is icky, a torturer, but buys you netflix every month from that point forward and maybe poke your eyes
