His childhood friend Yua was the only one to stick with him, telling him stories and inviting him to gaze upon the stars with her. Yet once he wishes upon a shooting star, the stars rain down upon his world, transforming it to fantasy.

Cyrus, the Steam Prison heroine, can be renamed by the player.
The voice acting has versions of spoken lines allowing for either option (default name or custom).
Three branching paths with two love interests per path and numerous possible endings.
One of the three paths, known as the “Punishment Route,” forces Cyrus to face an enormous amount of loss and misery, similar to Katniss Everdeen from the Hunger Games.
Characters who show up briefly in one part of the story become pivotal in others, and even brief appearances can add more depth to their character.
Steam Prison utilizes a point system, which determines the route and endings you’ll trigger. However, it’s all conversation-based, not action-choice based.
Vocal cast features seiyuu from OZMAFIA!!, Fashioning Little Miss Lonesome, Bokuten, Hadaka Shitsuji, Touken Ranbu, and One Punch Man.
There are no in-story sex scenes, but there are frank discussions about topics such as sex, love, sexual and domestic violence, murder, torture, and drug dependence.
Synopsis:
In this world there there are those fortunate enough to enjoy safety, luxury, and comfort inside their gorgeous, utopian city that boasts a commanding view of the ravaged surface far below their haven. The rest don't matter. When our heroine leaves the protection of the Heights to perform her police duties on The Depths below, she's greeted with a violent, destitute world of hardworking, damaged individuals.
Can she reconcile the world she knows with this world as it is? Will she connect with any of those living below, or join in the contempt for them? Can she endure the truths to be uncovered under her watch?

EPHEMERAL OTOME REVIEW | Hollowman / Invisibleman Nagi
Be warned, this may contain spoilers.
Okay. This is the current Otome Mobile Game I am playing, and to be honest. I have to wait for the points in order to finish a route, Most probably around 800 points to finish a characters route that includes the Normal part and the Romance Part.
I am done with Ray, Natsume and now Nagi. I will be doing Shiba’s route next. Each Episode / Chapter cost 40 points while the daily log-in gives you 30 points.
The game is fairly easy. If you made a mistake you can just reload the episode without buying it again with your points. The music is also beautiful, especially the art. The English is good, they may be some errors but understandable. The MC is not also your ordinary MC, she has a personality here, not the usual timid and submissive type. She can stand for herself, knows what she wants and she faces her problems.
Note : Each route is different, each route has something to say that you cannot lock on the other routes.
On wards to his route! First, He is my personal favorite okay. I love how sweet, innocent and comforting this route is. Nagi is a hollowman / Invisibleman and according to him, one of their traits is being negative and to disappear when they are over powered with their emotions.
“We are the residents of darkness but have word “man” within our racial name. Are we the existence of darkness or human beings?”
NORMAL ROUTE :
He is the one closest to a human (for me) He had fears, anxieties, he is lost and may even be insecure. After a specific amount of years, he will be nothing and that is what he fears the most. Unable to be seen, to touch and speak. He will never be seen again and he fears he will die alone with no one remembering him. (I know some maybe rolling their eyes at this but please try to understand.) The moment MC had sense him even though he was invisible, you could say it was the start of something. Especially after he had lost control of his emotions.
In this route, it shows how to maybe help someone with depression, He envies her for being so strong at heart, so free and brave. Personally, I feel that the MC had more character in this route. From the start, I like how Nagi made me feel like I am his girlfriend or someone dear / special to him and not just toying around.
“We don’t have any special physical ability or gain any special powers by changing shape. We only can make ourselves unseen. Besides that, we are weak as a human beings.”
Those words goes deep until the Romance Part. I am just happy in this route on how they support each other, how MC is really reaching for her dream. how in tune this route is with the reason why MC wants to leave Zombie land or attend this academy. Though this route (Normal Part) didn’t made my eyes bawl out like in Ray’s route but I was more secure in this.
Also, it had answered how MC had entered the Academy and why she was kept by her grandma in closed doors. Hint : It is just romantic as their story is. (I cried)
There were certainly Character Development here. I don’t feel it was rushed or lacking. But more like, we had seen more and had our troubles and worries put back behind us. His Confession was also cute, it was innocent and even with the lack of words. I had felt the Eternal Love.
ROMANCE PART :
I am 50/50 with this part. It feels like they don’t how to lead it. To be prank it is a mixture of returning back to square one with a twist. Because our MC is the lowest rank, Nagi was somehow comfortable that no one will steal her until Ray comes in and later on the last part Shiba.
His fears was not exactly returning but more like a continuation or aftermath of a solved fear. He had become more open, a little bit spoken for MC’s sake and he surely did prove how smart he is.
Well, this is not the main issue though in the Romance Part. It is how he was not given a chance. In all aspects. I personally cannot accept how this route ended. I didn’t shed a tear. I was torn. It was unfair.
“We are weak as a human beings.”
They had put an emphasize on that. I am grateful for Erica’s kindness over his act. But, It is just hard. Surely, he had done what information he can gather with this brains but after that? Is that the only solution. It had prove that he was more human, a human deeply inlove but I cannot help but imagine after that. He was given no choice. His life had already been decided after, and I can’t help but feel more sorry for MC once she finds out.
In all other routes.. (idk for Shiba) they are given a chance to be born again and chance to fall in love with MC. But Nagi.. after his life right now, he is done for. He can never be reborn nor have a chance to meet MC again,
“I can bear it all. As long as I have my memories with her.”
No. Nagi, if only you knew.. I am still crying over this, having false hope for Erica’s kindness and taking another reconsideration. It was just so unfair.. but I guess every Otome game needs a bittersweet ending..
