Had a thought:
Alien: Human. What, is that?
Human: huh? *looks over at the cut in half building* that's an office.
Alien: ... It's sawed in half.
Human: yeah, what about it?
Alien: how is that-
Human: very careful planning.
Alien: ... What engineer...
Human: it wasn't made by an engineer.
Alien: ... Excuse me?
Human: made by an architect.
Alien: a what now?
Human: ... Engineers are more functional people. Architects are more fashionable people.
Alien: ...
Human: an architect would take apart an engine, an engineer would bonk an engine.
Alien: ...
Human: you've been silent for a while now.
Alien: Is that a joke??
Human: worked on the ship didn't it?
Alien: ... Humans are insane.
Human: is that surprising?
Alien: unfortunately, no.

Due to miscommunication and rumors transformers are led to believe that humans are the descendants of voracious unbeatable metal eaters who could consume a whole bot in an hour.
This doesn't change as much as you think it would but enough to alter events.
--------------------------------------------------
Tired AF Sam after defeating Megatron : Uggggh I really need to eat.
Optimus dying a little inside: I see.... enjoy yourself.......
--------------------------------------------------
*when Mirage & Noah first met*
Mirage: Oh my God please don't eat me bro. I promise you I'm not tasty.
Noah: (The fuck) I won't???
Mirage: Thank the allspark I'm too young to die yet.
Noah: ??????
--------------------------------------------------
*Charlie nawing on a spoon*
*Bee scooches away*
Charlie: Whaw-t?
Bee: (・_・;) ......
--------------------------------------------------
This is purely crack and I wanted more content on humans being scary to the bots.

The duality of Man, or triality? quadrality?
Alien to Human about New Human: Correct me if I'm wrong, but they appear abnormally large for your species?
H: Yea, he's a biggun alright, even without the EV suit I'd say... 7'3'', 310 pounds, bet he power lifts.
A: Umm... not to be rude, but, uhh... he seems, well... how should I put this...
H: Intimidating? Terrifying? Evil? Yea, if this station didn't have high screening standards I'd be totally pissing myself if he started walking towards me. The mohawk and eye tat totally make me believe he could snap me in two with a single glare.
A: I feel ashamed that my instincts are telling me to flee. I wish nature were easier to change.
H (shouting at NH): Hey buddy! Could you come over here for a minute please? You look awesome by the way!
A (whispering nervously): what are you doing?!?
H: Gotta overcome those fears somehow, I believe the best way is a direct confrontation.
NH approaches, somewhat slowly, looking around at all the other aliens in the station that are chatting, waiting around, or doing some work. He finally approaches A and H, and in a very deep and husky voice says: Um, hi, hello. T-thanks for the compliment, I, uh, was a little worried I would stand out too much here.
H: Oh you totally do, my friend over here is practically about to pass out from how much like a gothic viking of death metal you look.
NH: Oh no, I'm so sorry, I-I just grew up in Sweden-Delta and both my parents were huge into classic local music, so I just, uh... it's complicated. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare anyone.
H: Hey, relax pal, we're all good people here. Anyway, what you here to do? I'm planning on starting a bakery, still testing out what kind of flour most species here can actually stomach. My friend here is on the team working on Moon theft preventative measures.
NH: Oh, that's cool. I'm here as an exchange student with the department of applied astrophysics. If all goes well, I can finish my Bachelors degree remotely and stay here as an intern with the head researcher.
H: Oooh, that's cool. (so cool yea that you're apparently half my age but oh well guess I'm a big fat time waster like my father before me and oh god change the subject before I get depressed in front of strangers) That's a real big bag you got there, carrying some super secret science things, eh?
NH: Oh, that... uhh... guess it can't hurt to tell, security vetted it already anyway.
NH proceeds to unzip the bag and hold up a large white piece of clothing with light blue rings and accents, alongside a strange white cap with what looked like small fins, and a curious little backpack.
NH: It's uhh... um... my... Ika... musume... cosplay.... (oh gods I can't believe I said it out loud again)
After a moment of awkward silence, NH slowly puts on the backpack and presses a button on it's strap, and suddenly numerous light blue colored tentacle-like appendages sprout out from the backpack and move in line with NH's movements.
NH: I, uh..., got my engineering friend to make them articulate and interface with my contacts. I can make them do all sorts of things, like make various shapes and animals with them, though works best as a shadow theater.
H:...
NH:...
A now frozen out of confusion than fear:...
H: That's so
NH: (oh I know it's so lame, but I love that show)-
H: COOL! I don't know what a ika musume is, but those things look amazing. You said articulate? How precise can they be? I'd love to have something like that instead of my useless assistant. Poor lad can't make a piece of toast if his life depended on it...
NH: Y-you like it?
H: I LOVE those things. My daughter does cosplay too sometimes, but she makes her Dreadnought suits herself from scraps. One time the military came to our house and installed a limiter on the gauss cannon she found in a crash site, said it would otherwise start to generate small doses of radiation if used too frequently. But she replaced it with a handmade rail gun before the next convention. Do you go to those? Did you see a 7 meter tall hulking metal monstrosity with a bunch of candles all over? That was her.
NH: Oh, I think I've seen video of that, but no, not in person, I go to smaller events. I don't really like big crowds.
H: Oh yea, I get ya, you do seem a bit on the shy side now that we've been talking for a bit. Hey, no worries, like I said, we're all good people here.
NH: T-thanks, but I think I should be going now, the teacher is calling me over.
H: Oh yea, go ahead, didn't mean to take up so much of your time. Have a fun stay and I'm sure you'll ace that paper or theory? Or whatever astrophysicists do, you seem like a solid kid.
NH: Oh, uh, thanks. Good luck with your bakery. And you with stopping those weird people from stealing more moons. Bye.
H: Bye bye, come visit, don't be a stranger now, I'm set up just a short bit from the main lift on floor 14.
NH: R-right, I'll, uh, be sure to stop by soon.
A is finally able to process what they just heard and says: What was all that just now?
H: What? Just a friendly chat with what is apparently basically a kid. Man, this kid's got so much going on, while I'm almost 50 and I have an oven. Life, man, it can go in so many ways. Anyway, let's go grab a drink, I'm parched.

Day 1
We have stopped on planet 23-08 in Mechuilian system. I have never been fond of this particular planet, but we were there on a mission. Our Vitrichl has heard that one of the bargainers resident on this planet is in posession of a prisoner that the Vitrichl seems quite interested in.
Apparently, this low bargainer has been able to aqcuire a prisoner of the terrestrial species that calls themselves "human". I was not familiar with this species, but the Vitrichl informed me that, apparently, these "humans" are a highly advanced life form that have managed to survive on a death planet for thousands of years and even develop a civilization and rather primitive forms of space craft technology.
I firstly not believed what he described, since usually, death planet species do not develop far and are doomed for eventual extinction. That was, until Vitrichl informed me that these "humans" are part of the system 31ł-43. If you are not familiar with the characteristics of system 31ł-43, this system is known as one of the deadliest in all of the galaxies. It is made up of entirely unhabited (and for most species, unhabitable) planets except for one, Terra, or "Earth", as the inhabitants apparently call it. Terrans, or "humans", for some unfathomable reason, seem to be rather fond of their death planet and have shown no signs -besides rather primitive space missions to neighbouring planets - of intending to leave their planet or system. Everyone who is aware of this species deem this for the best.
It is the first time that I had heard of someone out of a so-called "death district" coming to this part of the galaxy, so I had my slight suspicions that this may be a hoax.
But alas, I was wrong. We retrieved the prisoner and Vitrichl officially announced them as our "new crew member". After this announcement, Vitrichl informed me that he had decided that I should watch this "human". To learn their characteristics, their customs and observe their behaviour, in order to deem whether or not this "human" could be trusted, given that there was little known about their species.
I am now unofficial "human-watcher", and I have decided it would be best to keep a record of my observations for future reference.

Humans are weird: Ash Walker: Part 1
( Please come see me on my new patreon and support me for early access to stories and personal story requests :D https://www.patreon.com/NiqhtLord Every bit helps)
“Now that we’re all here it’s time I tell you what the job is.”
Hemlock kicked the holographic table and it buzzed into life, the projection lighting up the room in a soft blue glow. Six pairs of eyes turned to look at the projection as Hemlock pointed to the slowly turning image of a world.
“This is Thescara III-“ he began before being immediately cut off.
“Frak this shit.” One of the onlookers declared. “I’m not sitting one foot on that cursed world. You drop me off on the nearest barren moon.”
“What’s wrong with Thescara III?” another onlooker asked.
Septh looked at Hemlock and scoffed. “No wonder you wanted a new crew of fresh pups, for no seasoned salvager would join up with you.”
“You going to answer my question old man, or are you just keep ignoring me?”
Septh looked at the Fling then back at Hemlock with a hard stare. Hemlock paused and took a look around the room at his new crew. There was the Theosian called Tug standing in the back. He wore his ceremonial metal armor that was crafted to his flesh upon birth and was the muscle of the group.
The Guppin Fling was sitting in front of Tug with all four of his legs crossed. They were the youngest of the group and were it not for his hacking skills he’d not be here at all. Hemlock saw a lot of himself in the Guppin but was worried his enthusiasm would make him careless.
Opposite them were the triplets Nok, Uma, and Rue. None of them were particularly good with any skillset, but Hemlock needed the extra hands for lugging things and they came cheap. In truth he still didn't know which was which so he’d just shout a name and tell them to do something.
Last was Septh; the only one he’d used for multiple jobs. He was an old hand at the salvage game and was understandably not happy about being kept in the dark until the last moment.
“Thescara III was originally a human world until their war with the Jen. Rather than engage the humans on the surface where they knew the humans had the advantage they dropped a couple thousand low yield nuclear bombs across the entire surface reducing it to perpetual nuclear winter.”
“Cowards.”
Hemlock turned to see Tug adjusting himself against the wall and send a small tremor through the decking before spitting a gob of something black on to the floor and continued talking.
“True warriors face their foes face to face; not through the lens of a computer monitor.”
“If you knew what humans can do with a sharpened stick you might think twice.”
The triplets snickered at this but went silent when Tug shot them a sidelong glance.
“None of this matters, save for the fact there is over seven million credits locked away in the capital branch bank of Universal Credit that is just sitting there waiting to be nabbed.”
The mention of loot drew everyone’s attention. That many credits were enough to buy decent chunk of a moon, or live a life of luxury on a paradise world for seven lifetimes.
“It’s just been sitting there; this entire time?” one of the triplets asked. “How do we know the credits are still there?”
Gods they even sound the same, Hemlock thought.
“’The planet has been an ecological nightmare ever since the bombs went off. You can only stay on the surface for a short period of time before the radiation levels kill you. Couple that with the vault’s combination randomly rotating itself every hour it’s made it impossible to crack it before the radiation bakes you.”
“If that’s true then what chance do we have?” Septh interrupted.
In response Hemlock reached into his pocket and pulled out a gold disc.
“Because we aren’t going to need to crack the vault with this little ticket here.” Hemlock smiled. “As this little dingy is a corporate level security key, which can open any UC vault automatically.”
The triplets and Fling whistled in amazement, and with good reason. Those types of security keys were only given to executive level personnel and the loss of one would trigger an immediate reaction force to retrieve it.
“Do I want to know how you got that?” Septh asked.
Hemlock shrugged. “I’m borrowing it from a certain partner who will remain nameless for now.”
He pointed back to the hologram and grinned. “Now, time to plan our payday.” ---------------------------
Parting through the dense cloud coverage, Hemlock kept a constant eye on the retro rockets to match the ever changing wind patterns. He had flown through hurricanes and gale force winds that could cleave metal like paper, yet Thescara III was proving to be an entirely different beast.
Not only was the planet covered in a near perpetual cloud cover that dispensed ash but the sheer amount of nuclear bombs that had been dropped had also changed the planet’s equilibrium. Wind direction changed in intensity and direction by the minute, air pockets were abound like it was a minefield, and that wasn’t even getting into the random lightning strikes that could short out the entire ship if one struck home.
“I told you this planet was-“ Septh began before another air pocket the ship and the ship dropped suddenly.
Hemlock grinned at his good fortune and once more adjusted a series of dials. It took a few moments to pass through the last bit of turbulence and finally get below the cloud cover.
“Welcome to Thescara III everyone.” Hemlock said as the planet’s surface finally came into view.
As far as his eyes could see the entire planet was covered in layer upon layer of grey ash. Spires of city skyscrapers loomed up out of the ground like the skeleton fingers of gods, their shadows casting long across the ruins of a dead city.
After a few moments of circling Hemlock found the ideal landing site and brought the ship down. From the city records he was able to obtain the opening was once a large park at the heart of the capital city and only a few city blocks away from their target.
With a loud thud the support legs touched down on the surface and the engines began slowly powering down. Hemlock was already unbuckling harness and making for the cargo hold. Septh was in lock step behind him as the pair entered the hold to find the rest of the crew already suiting up.
Tug still had his armor on but had donned an atmospheric helmet. Hemlock could see the faint green glow of targeting feeds displaying on the inside of the helmet as the warrior performed basic systems checks. The triplets were gathering around hauler making final checks. They wore standard atmospheric suits with different colors for distinction as they circled the hauler. It was an anti-grav model with several large cases stacked on the back which the crew would fill with credits.
Hemlock was crazy enough to take this risk but not stupid enough to think he or his crew could haul seven million credits back without transport so the triplets were to be glued to the thing the entire time.
Fling was the last of the group off to the side that Hemlock found. He was struggling to attach the gloves of his suit when he approached and helped him.
“So if we have a key to the vault,” Fling began as he nodded thanks to Hemlock for the glove assist, “why exactly do you need me?”
“If the key fails you’re the contingency.” Hemlock said plainly. “I always hedge my bets, and I always have a plan B.”
Fling smirked. “I don’t know if I should be flattered or insulted for being plan A.”
Hemlock didn’t reply as he finished checking the rest of Fling’s suit and stepping back as Septh approached. He casually flung a spare helmet to Hemlock who caught it midair and donned it with ease.
“Listen up everyone,” he began as he spoke over the shared com network, “we have three hours to get in and out before the next radiation wave sweeps through here.”
Slapping the release button on the side of the hull sirens began blaring and the boarding ramp slowly cracked open and lowered down to the surface. A fresh blizzard of ash slowly began sweeping into the hold as the crew hopped onboard the hauler.
“Keep in coms range, keep an eye on your radiation meters, and for frak’s sake do not go wandering off.” Hemlock broke off checking on his crew to look down the boarding ramp as it fully opened. “This is not a world you want to be alone on.”
With his instructions delivered he slapped the top of the hauler’s cab and the triplets drove the vehicle forward. No sooner had the hauler reached the bottom of the ramp did Hemlock realize something was wrong.
“Is that what I think it is?”
Hemlock turned to see Fling looking off to the left of the boarding ramp and followed his gaze. His eyes went wide as he saw the outline of a Nebula B class freighter parked right next to his ship.
From the cockpit he had assumed it was another mound of ash, but now looking up at it from the ground he could see the underside of the ship clear as day. It’s boarding ramp was likewise lowered but now was coated in several layers of ash.
“Competition?” Tug asked as he hefted his power rifle. Septh shook his head in response as his eyes went over the freighter.
“This thing’s been here a while now.” He answered. Tug looked at him then back at the silent freighter. “How can you tell?” he asked.
“Nebula B’s are notorious for their engines never fully shutting down and always making a low rumbling sound.” Septh said as he put a hand to his ear. “For it to be silent it must have burned through its fuel reserves, and those can last about two-three years.”
“That’s not the half of it.”
Hemlock turned to see Tug nodding in the opposite direction to see a row of other spaceships lining alongside theirs like a giant parking lot.
“What the hell is this…” One of the triplets said from the hauler cabin. “Where are all their crews? Why’d they leave their ships out like this?”
“It’s-“ Septh began but Hemlock cut him off.
“Shut it.” Hemlock barked. He pointed down the road lined with ash covered vehicles. “We’ve got three hours and we don’t have time to waste!”
The crew looked amongst themselves before the hauler lurched forward again.

Humans are Space Horrors Pt 1/???
Let's be honest guys, humans are weird even to each other. Our planet is a Death World, add in Unicron and that takes on a whole new meaning.
Our stomachs can break down almost anything, we can recover from literally anything if given enough time, we see a dangerous predator and shout "KITTY".
We see something tall we climb it.
We see something and ask all the questions about.
We turn things into something it was never designed for.
We went to the goddamn Moon with a computer that had the processing power of a lesser calculator nowadays.
Humans are inventive, ingenuitive, curious, insatiable.
And honestly I feel like that would terrify Cybertronians.
In the best and worst ways possible.
Let's use Ratchet as in example.
He'd see us as small, delicate, dumb (affectionate) little things that need tending. And he's not wrong, to a point. But we've been doing this a long time by out standards.
We know what we're doing. (Kinda)
Humans can easily make drops of 10 ft or more. We regularly dive off of boards from higher into 30ft of water. We allow half tamed predators into our homes.
Humans be wild man.

Oh boy 1AM thought that has to be put to words immediately
Not-so-Wooden Horse
Log 15: January 12th, 2194
Our battle against the humans in sector gamma is finally shifting in our favor. We managed to get a perimeter around our capital ship making the humans unable to recklessly attack us. However the battle isn’t won yet, the humans are cunning, they use tactics only the insane would ever use. I still remember the look on everyone’s faces in the control center when a human battlecruiser rammed a flagship Supercruiser, killing everyone on both vessels instantly when the fusion reactors lost coolant.
I shall record another log in the coming week
Log 18: February 15th, 2194
Our victory draws near, we have destroyed 80% of the human navy in this sector of space, they have only 12 cruiser, 7 frigates, and a single malfunctioning and disarmed battleship left. We managed to get a direct connection the humans, we announced that we are going to give the humans a chance to surrender, none of us wanted this war and we want it to end just as much as they do.
I shall report once the humans have made their decision
Log 19: February 16th, 2194
Surprisingly the humans have decided to surrender, we are confused because humans are known for never giving up, even when faced with inevitable failure. But we are glad that this is over, they are sending their malfunctioning battleship with everyone on board to our capital ship. I can only assume they surrendered because they have “no cards left to play” as the humans say.
Will report once all humans are transferred to their cells.
Log 20: February 18th, 2194
They had one last card left to play…
When we let the ship through our perimeter and they docked at the capital ship we expected that they would walk out and let themselves be captured, we greeted them with open arms…
They greeted us with superheated spears…
Every single human was armed and armored and they stormed the capital ship, they used primitive spears that burned brighter than a reactor. Our armor was made to protect against lasers and radiation, we never accounted for such primitive melee weapons to be used in actual combat.
The battle over the capital ship quickly turned in our favor as surrounding ships began to drop reinforcements. But as we came across the last human, the general, he simply smiled and laughed.“did you like our little gift horse? Because I have one last little surprise for you.”
As he finished his sentence alarms started blaring, the alarms that signaled critical overheating of the reactors. “Your reactor security system used a mere 256bit password, guess us humans aren’t the only ones that ignore IT.” Said the human as I processed what was unfolding. I ran immediately to the nearest escape pod and left with a few surviving coworkers. I watched from external cameras as only mere minutes after we took off the entire capital ship, and the entire fleet around it, was vaporized.
This was my first time writing a story of some kind so I hope it Is ok, also sorry for grammar mistakes.
Should I write the perspective of the human side of this?

You and Your Human: Part 3
Part 1
Part 2
You do not know where you are.
To be fair, you have not known where you are for a very long time, but this is a different kind of uncertainty. This room looks different from your old one. Last you remember, there were alarms ringing through the air and you were curled up into a ball trying to ignore the rumbling in your stomach because no one had come in so long--
You shove the memories down. You have always been good at that, even before your abduction, although never to this degree.
You get up, shakily. You have been left water, and down it eagerly. You are glad to have it, but its presence is a bad sign. If they want you to get your strength back, it means more tests are coming up. It may mean they want you to fight, which you really aren't in the mood for.
You push yourself up to your feet, ignoring your shaking limbs. You can let yourself be weak if you ever get out. For now, you need to put on a show of force. If they ever think they don't need to fear you anymore...
You pace the perimeter of your new room, tapping on the walls as you go. No cracks, no weaknesses. You didn't really think there would be, but you had to check.
... you can't hear anything. Or well, that isn't true, you can hear the shaky sound of your own breathing, your footsteps on the stainless steel floor, but you can't actually hear anything outside of your cell. And that's weird.
There's always noise. The sound of screams, the clash of metal against metal, crying, sobbing. There has never been anything like this, this cold unearthly silence. You shiver.
As you sit in your cell, with nothing else to do, you begin to wonder what happened. The ship crashed. You are fairly certain of that, unless it was some sort of trick-- but no. You have agreed to take the world at face value, lest you go mad.
So. The ship crashed. No one came for a long time. You assumed they were all dead. You assumed you too would die.
... is that why its so quiet? Are they all dead? Did the alarms finally run out of power?
Except no, that doesn't make sense either, because if they're all dead, how on... wherever you are would you be in another room?!
You bury your head in your hands.
You are bored. It has been days and each time you fall asleep, food and water appear in your cell. None of it has been drugged, and most of it has been edible, which is good, but you have seen no one.
You know you sound like an entitled prick-- complaining about being bored while on an alien shapeship-- but at least the experiments made sense. You knew what to expect. Those days where you were sure you were going to die forgotten in your cell were worse that any test the aliens could come up with, and you really don't want to go back to them. Even if you do have food now.
You start talking. Just to the air. Back when you were capable of acting like a normal human being, you would have been worried that this made you seem crazy, but you really could not give a damn anymore.
You recite snippets of books and movies, and then, when you run out of those, you just talk. About anything and everything.
Sometimes you could almost swear someones listening.
Some time later, out of the corner of your eye, you see a small fuzzy head poke into the doorway. You heart stops.
"Hello?" you say.
"Hello?" the alien calls back. You warn your frantic heart not to get its hopes up. It's probably just mimicking you, like a parrot. There's no reason to be excited.
But then it keeps talking.
"Okay?" it says. "I speak some. Not past, so couldn't speak you-me. Can now. So, okay?"
You just stared, stunned. The alien pronounces words strange-- buzzing its ses and clicking its ces, and it hesitates over each word, but it is speaking to you. Speaking English.
It has been so, so long.
The alien's ears twitch. They are tall and bristly. Like a rabbit. You had a friend who had a pet rabbit, a long time ago. "Go?"
"No!" You are shocked by the levels of desperation in your voice. Only a week ago, you would have given anything for the aliens to leave you alone. But now...
"Alone... bad for humans? Or you? Or three?"
You think through how to phrase this in a way the rabbit alien will understand. "Yes. Much alone bad. Much alone makes little alone worse."
The rabbit alien swishes its tail once, firmly. "I will stay."
You talk to the rabbit alien often. It is different from the gem aliens. It talks to you like you are a sentient being, rather than an experiment. It never runs tests. Sometimes it lets you out of your cell.
You are certain you are on a different ship. No one on the other ship would ever be this kind.
You like this alien. It is your alien now. You decided this, and so it is true. You have not told your alien this because you don't want to scare it away, but you think it feels the same. You have caught it referring to you as its human when it mumbles under its breath.
Your alien shows you how to unlock the door to your cell. You are no longer a prisoner here, it seems. Strange, to be trusted after only a few short weeks. You can't say it's something you're used to.
Your alien also might be a criminal, because the ship you are on was clearly not made for it. It is small, and it has trouble reaching things. The ship the gem aliens on was definitely built for them so... your alien might have stolen a ship?
Eh. You don't care. From how the gem aliens acted, your existence is probably illegal.
You get out of the ship for the first time into a grassy area surrounded by mountains. It is beautiful, but your alien seems to be... upset. You don't like that. Your alien should not be upset. But it is making whimpering noises and its breaths are halted and shuddering as it tries to explain things to you.
You kneel down to the ground, heedless of the way the dew on the grass seeps into your pant legs and wrap your arms around your alien. It leans its head into your shoulder.
As you feel your aliens pitter-patter heartbeat against your neck, you think to yourself that it is a damn good thing your alien's crew will never meet you.
Hell hath no fury like a human scorned.

She'd drawn her sword, well she didn't really remember how any times she'd done it. A fluid motion, grasp, tilt, pull then push and SLAM.
The practice sword snapped, cracking as it struck the ground once more.
"... Y'know, when I gave you a section of the dojo to use, I wasn't really expecting you to leave practice swords in my roof."
Her friend quipped, several practice swords stabbed into the roof panel, the hole from the first successful trick still un patched as the various panels around her lay, swords and props broken.
"Yeah, well you weren't expecting me to use party tricks when we fight so..."
She shrugged, kicking a sword into her hand before breaking the wooden panel to her right.
"What exactly do you hope to achieve here? How exactly does any of this help with your fighting?"
His lips pursed, a smirk on the man's tousled head. Teasing. She'd wipe that grin off his face.
This was the location the official suggested, asking around it seemed most people at least knew of this Eleanor. Or Ellie, strange considering she weren't anyone of high anything, a generalist who's business was apparently "life saving" but also "a waste of space." Seems she were controversial.
The two held blades, training ones, she'd worn five with three smaller ones whereas he carried only four. A new fighting style, dual wielding, where blades could be swapped. Rapid switching of lengths leaving the target confounded, a school he took the credit even though he was the first student of the craft. Not the creator.
"Still don't get how you're not encumbered."
"Practice."
Simple. As always, hands held to her back and at her hip. A diagonal slash probably. He held his, holding hilts before she'd rushed forward.
Blades smacking against the ground, angling the wood to sharpen the tip of the edge.
Glancing in mild surprise, holding firm before drawing weapons.
The two swords clashed against one another, wood against wood. While stronger, her footing and leverage for the energy he exerted made up for any strength he'd push.
"Not bad."
Then she'd kicked up, flicking the lower sword under her leg into the air, pushing the opposing sword down. Before cartwheeling one foot into his surprised chin, lowered arms and the sword into her other hand as she landed on her feet.
"Party tricks."
The sword stabbed into the wooden panel, as a pair of hands clapped.
And almost immediately, the glass window shattered beside the alien, wooden blade sliding barely under a truck.
"ELLIE."
"oop, sorry. Reflexes!"
He glared at her, before complaining about having to repair another window.
She simply shrugged at the snap. Promising to pay for the pane.
"... So what style is that?"
"Oh its-"
She glared at him, as she closed her mouth shut.
"Gavin,-"
"WHERE?"
He'd jumped into the dojo, tripping onto his side. "-new sword style."
"... Y'know I think we're missing something."
After helping the alien up, tall lanky, and looked like that that dude from that pansexual dad Tumblr voice actor dad... Cosmic Wonders? Became a mildly successful series or something?? That thing, the thin lanky purple tinted alien with green eyes got to his feet. Albeit sheepish.
She glanced at the woman then the male.
"... Ellie?"
Ellie glanced at her twink friend.
"No. That's Amber."
"... The male?"
"I'm a twink actually."
"... Twink?"
"Do you know what pegging is?"
After traumatizing a delegate for a planet, he'd shaken his head of such thought.
"Righto, so. Who're ya and why are you here?"
"... I-"
She appeared to be in flux, wait.
"... Does your gender like. Switch? Ambo?"
"... Yeah, I was wondering if it was just me."
The alien looked at the two as the back door opened.
"Hey Amber... Who's this?"
"Quincy, out."
"Why he-"
"Quincy, you can ask to get fucked when we're done. For now, go unpack your shit."
"I don't-"
The woman raised her wrist, pushing buttons before beginning to read out.
"Hd porn comics-"
"Alright fine."
"... Uhhh."
"Quincy's an alien fucker."
"... Oh, wait."
I raised my hands.
"You have those too?"
"..."
The two Terrans and Quincy froze, turning to look at the alien.
"excuse me?"
Began Amber.
After a sufficient amount of fucking around, I'd dragged the rest of the broken gear into the end of the truck, closing the end as my passenger looked at the garbage.
"... Why didn't you just-"
"The dump pays for this, I can make twenty bucks by dumping my sorted trash to them."
"... Dump?"
The human waved her hand, before closing into a fist.
"BONK"
She smacked her truck before continuing.
"Short answer, it's a garbage collection. Y'know. Recycling."
"... Recyling?"
"... Get in, I'll explain on the way there."
"and I drove. Nothing too interesting there, but uhh. Well we'd figured out a way to suck out carbon and stuff and there were these legal passes that let countries or people to pay to drive with fuel and stuff. Basically I pay to be able to pay to get my own fuel and stuff."
She'd ignored my question, as she continued.
"m'kay, so generally I assume ya know what waste is right?"
"... Yes."
"m'kay, so- huh red."
The car stopped, seatbelt against his frame as she continued.
"well, some of the waste could be reusable and stuff ya?"
"... Pardon?"
"..."
Her lip raised, she gave it some thought.
"You see that metal box over there?"
She pointed at the workshop.
"yes?"
"wood working right?"
"... Yes?"
"y'know what saw dust is?"
"yes."
"Y'know what we do with unusable wood?"
"... Oh."
She smiled, for a moment. Filling the cabin with bright before she returned to a blank stare.
They drove, turns out he was from a plains planet, with tundra to the edges and a savannah to the centre. Plains, with three or four tectonic plates (something about an oceanic ridge) that makes borders.
"... So, I take it you're a scholarly knight?"
"... I suppose I am. Huh?"
"mmm, and it's not doubt strange a human is able to guess and... Articulate such points so... Effectively?"
"... Yeah, it's. Strange to say the least."
"... I'll also make a wild guess and assume that you're mildly perturbed. Disturbed. By the fact I'm capable of guessing so succinctly. Or easily. And wondering if other humans can do so?"
"... How-"
She laughed, the confused alien then came to a jolt.
"no. Most humans are nowhere near as brilliant as mwah, but a lot are close."
She opened the door, the engine turning itself off as she hopped out.
"Ait! Hey, mate! I've got junk!"
Waving her arms, Ignoring the flustered sputtering alien.

Final Prep
Organizing my room more, I gave one last look around; my bed now looked like a bed, the sheets were fixed, posters set up, knickknacks placed, window to infinite starry abyss cleaned, and table organized. A search around made a wall panel open, revealing a bathroom “Oh, well that’s one question answered.” Closing the panel I looked to the door as my stomach rumbled “I probably should eat.” Words grumbled just as loud as my stomach made my decision.
The door slid open, as I poked my head out; A look down left showed the path leading towards the divide, while the right headed to the middle of the ship, yet it was empty both ways. Muffled sounds silenced as I stepped out, the hum of the ship deafening anything else as another quick scan was made, still no one.
The door closed as I stepped away, walking ahead to what I hoped was a kitchen, the area expanded into a cubed shape; the wide table surrounded with ten chairs sat in the middle of the room, left showed the ship's entrance and right held a circular window. Properly walking into the room my eyes marked the two panels, my translator gave a small blip as muffled sounds picked up behind me, and my hand briefly held the back of a chair turning me as I continued straight towards them.
The first panel itself hung from the wall at waist height, scaling up to chest height, it was blank and seemed to be off; the second was more a window than panel, it was the same height as the first but sunk into the wall by a few inches, split into four compartments, and had a white background.
Unsure what to do I placed my hand on the dark panel, it was cold to the touch and lit up after a few seconds, a small hum sounded as I moved my hand back, the words ‘HELLO USER Lawrence PLEASE SELECT PREFERENCES’ sounded lightly on my translator, as they were typed up on the screen accompanied with various food types.
Glossing through all option I scanned the different species types, each with their own food groups, substitutes, allergies, necessities, and vitamin options to add or remove “Huh, neat.” I quietly called, choosing the human option for now, searching through the many meat choices first “I don’t know whether to be happy or afraid that fast food options are a choice. I’ll just try some lamb, see how it compares.”
Words mumbled out as I clicked on veggies “Get that broc, that pot, that rot, that arti, that coli, that g-been, that fungi, that sweet p, tha-” My hand halted “-Hmmm, that is a lot of food. Is it too much? I should probably cut back. Or, I can keep it, and just get seconds later? Am I allowed seconds?” Questions rambled as I looked about, concerned over my choices, a sigh and grumble as eyes relocked back on the panel “It’s food, on the ship I’m in, for the crew I’m in. I can eat it, the panel told me so.” My hand clicked the parsnip selecting the end of my choice
‘DO YOU CONFIRM?’ Thinking I looked at the second panel, clicking yes as the first panel beeped ‘PLEASE CHOOSE FINAL PREFERENCES.’ Looking at the options I choose thigh cut, seared style, and steamed for all veggies. Stepping over I listened to the second panel hum louder, a few seconds passed before the top compartment rotated, my lamb laid perfectly cooked and steaming as a plate raised, it slid open as I took the plate setting it on the table. Turning back in time for the second compartment to spin, all the veggies laid encircling the other in various cut slices and steaming, a larger plate rose as it opened, once I took it the third compartment spun, showing two sets of forks and knives that I also took.
Placing everything on the table I looked around at the empty room, eyes staring back down to the table “What am I missing? I have the food, and I- Oh right, a no drink.” Words cut off as I turned, tapping the screen as it reopened to a drinks sections “Ah, it’s been human tested. That’s good.” Joking as I thumbed through, glancing at the options from water to fizzy drinks, with various hot and cold weather drinks in between, uncaring I choose water watching the fourth panel turn just a second after. Finally sitting down I took a bite, it tasted generally bland, but still held the fresh meaty texture; the vegetables seemed the same, all bland but still fresh and nice to eat. Sitting around I waited, unsure what to do ‘We are close to landing, so we probably have a protocol? Right?’
Glancing about no sound were made, only the hum of the ship filling the silence between bites; looking out the window stars continued to scatter by, splattered through the voidful oasis ‘Someone’s going to explain something eventually, just have to wait until they step out and give a debriefing? Right?’ drinking my water I waited, half done with most of the food, thinking about where everyone went, and what to do ‘They were out and about just a second ago, well Alto them went to the Activity room? So Kleef and the others went back to the front? So just wait until we land? And then wait until someone says something? And do, the thing, right?’
Poking my food around my thoughts wandered more ‘What even are we going to do there, it has a million-year-old record, and it’s a planet that’s supposed to be weird, with no real terrain knowledge. I know I’m going to leave the ship, but shouldn’t I be doing something to help?’ “Hmm? What would I even help with? I don’t know anything about this place anyways?” Words spoke aloud answering my own questions, deciding to take another bite, going back to my thoughts ‘Well, it’s a planet. So just, walk about, collect things, don’t get lost? I can do that, but so can everyone else. Hmmm?’
Grumbling I poked down, hearing a small tick as my fork hit plate, looking down it seemed I had finished eating “And, there goes that distraction. But at least I’m full, I think?” Looking outside to space a sigh left as I thought about home ‘I just have to not get in the way, just gotta keep alert, and stay foc-' “Hello Lavrence. Enjoying zpace?” Words blipped in my translator startling my thoughts, fighting back a jolt I slowly turned, seeing it was just Lopasis “Oh. Uh? Yea, just thinking about home.” Their leaves shook as they nodded “Reminizcing about home iz quite normal. Had a nice meal?”
Remembering my plates existence was a small surprise “Oh right, I did eat. It was nice, how does it work exactly?” I asked pointing at the panels, not wanting to make it awkward “Oh. Vell, the machine itzelf haz variouz microbez that fuze together zmall particlez of food groupz. From there it reconztructz the dezired output uzing your choicez, and replicatez the matter on hov you zpecify. The utenzilz, and platez are juzt zetz bought vith the machine.” They quickly explained the process, most of it flying over my head “So… it’s a food maker?” “Exactly.” “Oh, Ok. So, what brings you out. And about. In the ship.” The last words fumbled out, still wanting but now making it awkward.
“Vell, I had vanted to check up on equipment. Make zure everything iz tezted before ve land. Vould you vant to come vith? You vould have to do a trial before ve fully land anyvay.” They asked shifting light blue petals, turning as they tapped the screen, and selecting a drink for themselves. ‘Well, good to know that was planned’ “Yea, but where do I put my plates?” I raised both, which they offered to take. “You zimply tap the zcreen, input plate and cup amount, and place. Quick and zimple.” Words beamed in a small blue green glow, as they demonstrated, placing my items inside, all rotating away.
“It’s quite a nice machine. Did you build it?” I asked fully expecting a yes at this point, they only laughed, shaking some petals with a wave “Oh no, thiz vaz bought by Kleef. Though, they did do mozt maintenance on it, so it’z vell kept by our Captain.” Giving a quick hum I rose to my feet “That’s interesting, are these normal on ships, we didn’t have a briefing of it on earth.” Lopasis poured the glass of water on their deep blue face, vibrating as it darkened slightly, before tapping the screen. “Vell, not normal. Vhen Kleef bought it, it vaz a tezter prototype, during that time lezz than 0.1% of zhipz had them. Nov about 3% of zhipz houze theze unitz.”
They placed their cup, giving a turn and walking at the end, quickly following I hummed with a nod, watching the petals shift with each step. “That’s good, it does seem to be quite in depth.” “That vaz vhat Kleef vorked on the hardezt, they zcoured for many modulez CPPZ, the company, made. Zurprizingly humanz vere the hardezt to tune.” “Humans were? Makes sense, we do eat about anything.” “Indeed. Zo many optionz interlinked vith other zpeciez, the amount of timez our Captain had to recheck everything after changing one human item. It vaz quite a fev ztardayz before ve left ztation.” They laughed as I joined in, as we walked past a door. “Yea, that would cause problems, also what is a starday?” “Day relative to clozezt ztar, ve change our clockz vhenever ve land. Zo, ve vill have to come the nev planet.” We stopped at a door one down from the activity room, Lopasis typing in a five-digit passcode, before it slid open.
Entering as the lights turned on, I looked at all the items scattered against the wall, on the floor, shelves or hanging on the wall “Speaking of the new planet, are you worried?” They tapped container against the nearest wall with a key card, as it opened up before quickly taking out two tablets “Vell, of course I am vorried. All planetz and travelz bring vith them potential dizazterz. Mind you, any activity bringz a chance of dizazter, az zuch I keep myself occupied to alvayz check for zuch thingz.” Answer stated as a tablet was handed my way “Thank you? What is this for?” Tapping their blank screen twice Lopasis gave a wave around the room, petals shaking from the motion “Eaziest vay of recording everything, juzt tap tvice and chooze the crate icon. From there enter pazzcode 5173 and you’ll zee my zcreen.” Explanation demonstrated as I executed, being brought to a spreadsheet filled with items.
Giving a nod Lopasis checked over the first crate, pressing everything as they flashed on and off “Everything zhould be regiztered, main thingz are checking if they are ztill here, vhich givez one tick. And checking if they are fully functional, vhich givez tvo tickz. If not here or vorking then give the zame amount of X’z.” More explanations shown as they gave two final ticks, closing the crate; looking down I saw the double ticked tablets, wireless pens, gps scanners, droids, AR and VR goggles, body camera and lights.
Nodding, we looked into the second crate seeing “Polarized gogglez one through five, unpolarized gogglez one through four, zelf trackerz one through ten, wirelezz communicatorz one through six.” All I ticked as they counted off, giving a check over and nod before closing the crate. Lopasis pointed to the shelf above, as I pulled down three different ropes “Zcaling rope, check for kinkz or tearz. Nilon rope, check for vater or veaknezz. Aramid rope, check for cutz or tearz.” Giving a general check of everything I saw nothing wrong, each got two ticks and placed back.
Right beside were two shelves filled with books “Thiz iz more a general item, ve lable them az guidez. They have information on mozt organic and inorganic life, medical aid per zpeciez, terrain landmarkz, galactic diplomatic hiztoriez and changez, galactic languagez and culturez, planetary ecoztudiez.” Leaf green hands pointed to the sectioned areas of both “Huh, that’s a lot of books, do we have to memorize them?” They laughed, waving a hand as their petals shook “Oh no. Mozt itemz vere brought vhen Bett and Lezz joined, after that ve all got in the habit of getting one nev book every rezt ztop.” “Oh? Wait, who’s Lezz?” “Nottalizh, just a small nick name.”
Walking to another area, Lopasis handed me the key card taking out a second for themselves “You have the bazic understanding, so ve vill divide. If you have queztionz I’ll try to have anzverz.” They reassured beaming a light blue green “Alright, I’ll make sure it’s checked over.” Words said as I tapped the crate, we watched it open as they left; looking within I checked over bolts, harnesses, helmets, hexes, nuts, picks, pitons, pullies and slings. Giving both a look and feel before all received two ticks, closing the crate looking over to the one beside it. Tapping I checked over the carbon-fiber plating, first aid kit, medical bags, respiratory masks, resuscitator, pulse oximeter, thermal blanket, trauma blanket, and slings; all were checked and ticked as I looked to Lopasis “Lopa?” “Yez?” “Does it get confusing having two items labelled sling?” Tapping their tablet they walked to the furthest wall “Not really, one zling is by itzelf, the other iz attached to pulliez. Though, Kleef did offer the zame queztion vhen ve firzt made the lizt. Changing might good, if you find any other overlapz do tell.” Checking over items while speaking.
Dark brown chests stacked along the wall, rowing three racks of two. “What are these?” Lopasis looked across to me “Ah, thoze are our perzernal ztorage. Apologize.” They blipped unlabelled on my, as Lopasis tapped their screen “I, per rule, cannot discloze vho iz vhoze. Forgot they vere on that zide.” “Ah. That makes sense. Which is mine?” Lopasis tapped their screen a few times, before a blip of my name appeared by a chest. “Middle right rov. Kindly do not dizcloze thiz information unlezz needed in emergency, thiz iz an agreement of general zafety and security.” “Sir yes sir.” I saluted, getting a head tilt “Oh, humanz actually zay that?” “Well, yea. Half serious half joke, like a real fake.” “A vhat?”
“Human joke, don’t worry.” Chuckling I opened the chest, with all my knickknacks still there. “Hmm, might change up the room when we get back from the planet.” Quickly taking out a framed picture and chain. “Zpeaking of, hov are you enjoying the room?” “It’s spacious, I can pace, lay down, or watch the stars stream by. So, quite lovely actually, I’ve always wanted to do this.” Lopasis shimmered, moving to another section. “I’m ecztatic hearing that, you’ve alzo bonded vith the crev zo zvell in just four and half hourz.” “Huh? It’s been that long? Or is that short, hmmm. Time didn’t flow for me, especially since there’s no sun. No wait, suns are stars. Wow this a lot.”
Lopasis put down their tablet stepping close “Are you alright?” “Yea? Just, been thinking a lot. And a lot happened, and there’s a lot of people, or aliens? Species? Look, I’m alright.” I tried to finalize, as Lopasis’ eyes sprouted. “Have you had a rezt today?” “Well, kinda? Every now and then nothing would happen, then something. But, it wasn’t a lot or anything, so it’s fine.” “Had zomething happened today?” “What? No. Well, nothing but just me thinking and I guess overthinking. I don’t know situations are awkward sometimes.” “Zituationz? Lopasis echoed.
“Well, I make things awkward, and I don’t know I think about it, and try not to make it more awkward and then I think it works out, but then I think about that. And I don’t know, I’m worried if I offended them.” “Offended vho?” Rolling my hands I tried to think specifically “Someone, anyone. You say I bonded well, but I just tried to follow what they were doing, and even at first with Nottalish I thought he hated me, but he’s super nice.” “That iz a fair primary and zecondary interaction with Lezz.” Lopasis added. “And Rousptera…” Lopasis squinted “Did zomething happen vith you tvo?” “Well. No, but I think I thought something might? And made them worried they did something. And maybe caused Kleef to say something to them. And maybe I won’t be able to be friends with them.” I rambled as my hands whirled, only slowing down at the end.
“O…Oh?” Lopasis glowed with the word “I zee nov, vell, vhile I don’t knov vhat happened that doez explain Kleef zeeming different after a zhip zcan.” My face paled “So he did see us? Oh no, do you know what he said. Was he angry?” My panic rising “Angry? No, maybe upzet. But-” They added stopping my reply “-Kleef had talked vith, and underztood Rouzptera’z zide. The manner I do not knov, but haz calmed him.” “O…Oh, alright. Thank you.” I calmed down, still rushing from panic “Um, did Rousptera say anything to you?” Lopasis closed their eyes. “Well, Rouzptera did vant me to check on you. But, mainly mentioned you valking into a panel, and an apology. I think I underztand the latter part nov.” “Yea, I did walk into a panel. I was trying to make the situation unawkward, it. Yea.”
“Do you need medical aide?” “Nah, it wasn’t that serious. Just the old noggin taking a hit. I’ve been through worse.” I laughed but Lopasis didn’t join in. “Lavrence, I do not underztand theze human jokez. Are they all thiz oddly roundabout?” “Not all, a lot of mine are. But then I just mash different joke genres together, see how they get lost from my brain to my mouth, and let it play.” Lopasis tried to laugh. “That vaz a good one.” “That wasn’t a joke, that was a genuine explanation.” “Ah, I can zee vhy you bonded so vell vith everyone.” Lopasis lightly glowed “Why?” “You’re quite eazy to talk to, I enjoy vhen you let yourzelf talk. It addz to any conversation.” I didn’t reply.
After a few second of staring Lopasis’ glow began to fade “Are you alright Lavrence?” “Yea. You just gave such a genuine complement I needed a few seconds to factory reset and process it. But thank you, that means a lot.” Lopasis spot lighted the room, receeding back to a dim oceanic blur. “Of courze. I vill alvayz be genuine and honest, it iz proven to be mozt helpful in many cazez.” “Wow a complement dispenser, and fusion cell collector. What can’t you do.” Lopasis hummed, turning to grab their tablet “I cannot vorry about my crev, and the zhip at the zame time. You are alvayz firzt priority.” They blipped a few more items “Alzo, az ve don’t have much itemz left, juzt to confirm. You are alright.” “Correct.” “Nothing iz ailing you?” “Nope.” “Iz there anything you vant to talk about, even vith Rouzptera.”
Focusing on the day, I tried to find more questions “Nothing really? Um, did you suspect Rousptera did something, or think it was more serious?” “Oh, no. No, no no. Rouzptera is the gentlezt of crevmatez you could find. He lovez to learn and inveztigate, but iz quite avare of boundariez and limitz. Hiz speciez, zimilar to mine, can feel the zhift in chemicalz and changez in frequenciez through the air around uz.” “Oh, that makes sense for you guys. Wait you can tell when I’m anxious?” I focused at the end “In a zenze, yez. Though, you’ve been anxiouz all day, zo it’z been quite muddled. I perzonally haven’t been focuzed on it, just noted itz prezence and zhiftz. Rouzptera is zlightly lezz zensitive with zcentz, but better in temperature and frequency fluctuationz.” Sighing I slumped against a shelf “How nice to know my anxiety was known all day.” Lopasis checked more items off “Vell, did you expect to be calm? You vere put vith a nev zhip, crev, outfit, tazkz and responzibilitiez. Did you expect to be relaxed in your firzt hourz?”
“Yea? Well, no. But, I didn’t want to make anyone worried, so I tried to just keep at it?” Lopasis rounded closer to my side “Vell, everyone iz going to be vorried about you. Ve vorry about each other all the time, that’z vhat being a crev iz. Making zure everyone iz alright, zo they don’t have to be vorried alone.” “Yea. But, like. I don’t know, I was overthinking a lot.” “You did indeed zay that. Then may I remove a vorry?” “Sure?” Lopasis clicked through the last items, waving for me to follow to the front “You didn’t make anything avkvard, everyone’s been talking about your achievementz and hov much they enjoyed interacting vith you.” “But, I didn’t do anything yet, I just got here.” “Exactly, you’ve just gotten here. Imagine vhat ztoriez you’ll create vhen you do zomething.”
Lopasis glimmered, tapping the container and placing their tablet inside. I stood there, letting the words sink in ‘I’ve done nothing, everyone has been here so long. And now I get to be here with them, I get to go on adventures and do whatever I want.’ The excitement whelmed within “Alright, thank you. That did help a lot.” “I can tell. Quite poverful joy you’ve got there.” Lopasis joked, taking my tablet. “What, this old thing? Nah, I bet you say that to all the serotonin you meet.” I fanned my cheeks, faking embarrassment as Lopasis laughed louder. “Vho knovs, thiz type iz quite zoothing, I rather enjoy it.” “O…Oh?” True embarrassment flushed up, Lopasis leaves tilting in response “Oh, zomething nev?” “Uhhhhhhhhhh, hey when do we land by the way?” I desperately tried to change the subject.
“Hmmm? I think three more hourz until landing. You really zhould rezt before though Lavrence.” “Yea, maybe. I just keep learning so much from everyone, so it’s hard to keep still.” “What did you learn from me?” Petals pointed up “You are way more observant than you let on. I am rethinking so much situations right now.” Lopasis bloomed, pressing a panel to open the door “Of courze, I am the navigator and field medic. Vell, Zecond field medic Notalizh iz primary.” We stepped out, into the still empty corridor “So there are sectioned roles?” “More zpecialized, a preference. You can learn all, but mainly a captian needz to. For crev it’z zimpler zticking to tvo or three. Alto iz zpecialized in all five.” “I am not surprised by that.”
“They are quite good at mozt anything. Eazily picking up and adapting to mozt zituationz.” “Yea, they did win the Rock-Paper-Scissors game.” “Indeed, their ability to overcome limitationz iz their mozt valuable trait.” Lopasis turned, making way to the kitchen, as I followed “Huh, interesting. So what are all the specialization?” Mumbling words Lopasis tapped their leaves a few times “I think the order iz field medic, explorer, engineer, navigator, and armz zpecializt. In terms of what iz trained firzt.” We stopped by the table “Oh, so field medic training is also storage training?” “In a zenze, the bezt vay of learning hov to aide. Iz knoving vhat iz available, and keeping important itemz ztocked. But, thiz izn’t a training zezzion, juzt debriefing.” Lopasis stepped over, dispensing another cup of water from the panels.
Placing my chain and picture on the table, then looking out the window to spacy abyss I thought on everything “So. Would I be trained for explorer when we land?” “Potentially. Or any of the otherz, I zimply lizted the recommended order ve zet, if you feel ready to learn one primarily, that iz alzo up to you.” “Huh, you know it’s a lot less imposing now that I know what to expect.” Lopasis paused their water pour, tilting to look at me “Did your planet not inform you of the zpecializationz for thiz zhip?” I gave a shrug and head shake “So far, everyone knows more than me about what I should know. I didn’t even get a translator until I stepped on board.” “Your zpeciez becomez increazingly alarming vith each added information.” Lopasis poured their drink, tapping for another.
“Yea. That’s humans, the more you learn about us. The more you wish you didn’t know. Like our oceans.” “Vhat about your oceanz?” “Do you really want to test your hubris again? Have you not learned from actions passed?” “…Vaz that a human joke?” Laughing I walked beside Lopasis to the panel, tapping for my own drink “I’ll let you decide that yourself.” Grabbing my cup, I sat back in my original spot.
Lopasis hummed for a second “Vell, thiz haz been quite an informative interaction. I can zee vhat you mean by learning a lot from everyone.” “Oh yea, what did you learn about me?” I excitedly pointed to myself. “You're unique. I cannot quite explain it, but. I am alvayz learning zomething about you, and I never knov vhat vill come next. Maybe interezting might be a better vord?” Slightly dejected I settled back in my seat “Ah, so still just unique and interesting. Yippie.” I twirled a finger with the word.
“Apologiez, did I offend you?” Lopasis worried. “No. I just always got told I was unique, interesting and special all my life. It never really meant anything growing up, and I never understood why it was all I got. It’s not offensive, just thought I was something more than, the different kid.” Honest words pushed past, as I looked to the framed picture. “I didn’t knov. I’m zorry, I can think of better vordz.” Waving the matter off I sat properly in the seat again. “Nah. You literally couldn’t have known. And besides, what I learned about you wasn’t much of anything. So just even assessments of first few talks.”
Lopasis gave another long hum “You alvayz find the vordz to zettle a matter. Then I zhall vorry no longer, but vhen I do find proper vordz I vill tell you vhat I learned.” They pressed the screen, making a panel turn, depositing their cup. “I’ll take that offer. And when I can, I’ll do the same. Watch, I’ll out observe you.” Lopasis gave a wave and laugh “I don’t knov, I might have an advantage with my eyez and senzez. You might be learned firzt.” Their five eyes grew at the mention. “Oh yea? I’ll hyper analyze you until you get stuck in my mind. Then, I’ll have the advantage of only thinking about you.” I pointed to them feeling triumphant, taking a sip of my drink.
Lopasis froze for a moment, eyes glued to me “I didn’t expect you to go that far for me. Zurely there are other thingz that dezerve your full attention.” Confused I replayed the conversation, trying to understand the reaction ‘It’s just hyper fixating? Little brain rot on Lopasis only…’ “Ohhhhh. I didn’t think my words through.” I admitted out loud, getting more laughter from Lopasis “Even though it’s not the best vord. I ztill think interezting fitz for right nov, talking vith you is alvayz great fun.” My mind stuttered at the complement “Why are your words so genuine and nice. I can’t handle such positivity so close, I might barf out sunshine soon.” I tried to hide by taking another drink.
“Alright, I zhall contain my honezty for nov. I must return to the helm, and make zure everything there iz recorded. Do try to rezt before ve land, a lot haz happened today, giving your body a moment of break vould help.” Lopasis nudged out, closing their eyes. “I will. I mainly came out here to eat earlier, so resting should be easy. Oh-" I called out as they turned away “-Thank you again. For everything today, it was also nice talking about my worries.” Lopasis gave a curtsy, beaming bright “I am happy to have aided you. And never feel like you can’t come to me. I’ll alvayz be here to talk and lizten.” With a final wave they turned, walking into the next corridor.
Staring at the wall, I waited until the door sounded open then close, before slumping back into my chair ‘That was so nerve wracking. How are they so easy to talk to, yet intimidating at the same time. And their reactions, even when they were concerned. Like, man… But, at least a lot of my stress is gone. And I got answers.’ I gave a long, slow sigh “I’m so tired. Maybe I should sleep, they did keep reminding me.”
With another sigh I arose, finishing my water and sending the cup away. Grabbing the framed photo and chain I returned back, the hallway was still clear with muffled mummers barely picked out behind walls. My room door appearing as I tapped in the code, the sanitized smell unaffecting my nose as I stepped in. Placing the picture and chain on the table, I flopped onto the bed, fixing the sheet atop me. “Alright. I’m tired. So I can’t keep thinking, just gotta drift off to slumber town. Easy, just try to relax, and don’t even think ab-" my words cut out as I fell asleep, thoughts drifting away as my body settled into bed.

The formation of AI a prompt from humains are space orcs
Here is the source.
The ship was quiet as it was soaring through the stars, it's sleek chrome design shining on the trinary system, the cool blue of the central stars creating a blueish tone on the command bridge, a humain female with a faceless silver metal mask was doing a simple pronostic as she was with the crew, the rest of the command bridge equipage had copperish masks wich meant they were new but not freshly new, this ship was rather unique due to it's metal religion inside of it, created long ago by the first capitain of this ship.
The commander was there with it's golden mask, sitting in it's chair, rather bored as they were only studying the Girek sector precisely the 96th sectorial quadrant, thier studies were mostly on a primitive species wich advanced into the medieval age, they seem to worship tar and other oily substances which was rather odd but not out of the ordinary, the Dhors were praising the stars after all, thinking that aliens came and elevated them wich was rubbish but the federation couldn't really do much, less they wanted a religious war with gargantuous church ships.
"Alia how's that pronostic?" Demanded the captain as the lady was finishing the last touches.
«its going well sir Aurelian, and I think that...hang on a minute...we got incoming out of sub space!»
A gigantic ship emerged from space, black and green tentacles were erratically swaying around as it shuddered from the jump, letting out a clicketing noises as it's insect like armor trembles in the noiseless space, the sounds tho were pick up in the comms.
The capitain would perk up from it's seat, it was impossible they weren't in any contested space.
"Put it on screen."
The lieutenant would open the communications and was shock by the sight, a crustacean like creature was on display, or so he thought, it was rather dark on the screen and could only distinguish two green eyes, mandibles clicking in a disgustingly manner.
"By Steelian mhh I am Capitain Aurelian from the federation fleet, what are-"
The rough voice echoed as it was indistinguishable from nor male or female.
”M.O.T.H.E.R HUNG-ER FOR NEW FLESSSSH!”
«they cut the transmission, augh! All I hear is static and vile sounds from hell I know where!"
"My.... prepare for battle! code red! All to battle stations!"
The chomerish corvette would pick up speed as green plasma was passing by missing greatly, it seems it was thier first time fighting in space, the lieutenant was redirecting power to shields and engines as the silverish medal would fall in one of the small opening in the command console, this medal in particular was rather special due to a failed nanites experiment wich were put inside the silver and copper medal as a cover up for this failure, as the ship replied with a quick salvo of rockets and lasers, the electricity inside the console command would melt the silver and the copper around it would conduct all of it towards the seemingly dead nanites, springing life into them as they acquired conscience and started to duplicate the silver and various components to be able to walk, a feminine voice echoed in the depth of the ships console as to the lieutenant suprise a faceless metallic silver head would perk up from the command in the middle of the screen.
”«Dasha online. I am alive. What task do you want me to perform?»”
«Aaah! No! It's not the time! Shoo! Shoo! Get out of the console I need it!»
Say the second lieutenant as she would control it with one hand while trying to chase off the head as she would make the ship turn in a drift while a sort of green wall was appearing, cutting an asteroid in two and missing the ship barely.
”«very well. I shall get out of the way.»”
The liquid silver would be going outside of the numerous micro opening from said electronic device, as the silvery texture would morph into a faceless humanoid being, it's bust making the lieutenant blush as it was a rather good distraction from all off that stress the battle was procuring, the argent female would slowly bow to look at the human's fingers going across the tactile screen as her faceless visage would shine back the light of the red alert, it seems she was unfazed by the all out battle on the front view.
The capitain would put some music as the cd was marked earth wind and fire, and pointed at the shiny lady and said.
"New crew member! Any suggestions to get out of this mess?"
She would perk up and turn towards the commander of the corvette.
”«i suggest a redirection of power towards the front shields, it would be much adequate to counter their weak proto plasmatic shots they do not seem to have a technological level comparable to ours, we outmatch them in every field except firepower and I also strongly recommend to-»”
«stop talking and do it! Oh fuck!»
Another of thoses strange green walls would materialize as the lieutenant would make the ship abruptly go up and twisted it, turning the command post over to quickly go down, making another barrel to stabilize the silvered ship, the shiny AI would not budge at all as a poor copper mask would fling around helplessly before collapsing on the railing right infront of the capitan.
"Ouuuuh! it must have hurt, seatbelts everyone! I think you broke a rib... Medical teams on the command bridge please I need to alert the federation, we don't even know their names how do we call them?"
Say the captain as he was entering all of the informations on the database.
«crustacerians or something, they are hideous!»
Say the lieutenant as the proton torpedoes of the corvette would hit the dark and green ship in it's armor, it created a noise inside the communications wich made the lieutenant throw her headphones on the side.
«thier ships are alive eurk I'm gonna be sick, how can we even do that.»
"«I can call the federation capitain we have an incoming transmission at the moment from the enemy ship.»”
"Mh...on comms but transmit a distress signal in the meantime to the nearest federation ship."
The artificial intelligence would nod as the black ship stopped to fire, the holoscreen would open up to the same disgusting alien, it's numerous micro arms shuddering.
"KARALA-SEK-KAH! witness resistance!"
It would then bring a humanoid body, what was worst is that it seemed still alive, it's body in a sort of tar like she'll as it made some helpless noises trying to look but couldn't as the thick layers of tar were making him or her blind, a hole was replacing the mouth as it tried to make more noises.
"Mph! Mhhh ...mphh! Mhh grk!"
As the alien would laugh, a blinding light would make it cover it's eyes in panic as the ship was turning.
"YIRRRG! BURNING LIGHTT! MOTHER IS NOT PLEASED!"
A golden ship would appear from primal space, concentrated ray of lights would shoot towards the enemy ship as it started to go towards the black and greenish ship, a laser cutting a whole tendril, liquid in suspension as the enemy ship was trying to run away.
The silverish female would turn to the capitain.
"«reinforcements arrived, Dhor capital ship light of the stars , cannons shooting at the enemy, bold manover to charge it while in sub space and jump diagonally in primal space, the whole ship could have blown up if it was miscalculated... impressive meatbags.»”
The captain would let out a sigh of relief.
"Oh thank god phew alright we need to... dammit they escaped."
The dark living ship was indeed escaping into sub space via a green portal while getting peppered hard by the golden ship, it seems the ancient Dhors know of this speice.
"Well we'll rescue the hostage another time, they don't seem to want to consume them like the beehive of zantarak. We'll get them next time. As for you!"
The faceless visage was looking at the capitain, her heels claccing together in an orderly fashion.
"Welcome aboard Dasha your on the Aurum now."
End of story.

On the 22nd it’ll be the 1 year anniversary of when I first started this little humans a running a space child centre which is neat!
If you read these shorts and like em you can ask me stuff about it or tell me whatever and I’ll make a post answering/responding to them on the 22nd
I saw a bunch of humans are space orcs, and humans are feared by aliens, etc. and want to add to it.
Kid centre for all alien children/younglings run by humans.
-"Human Kim! Are you all right? Do you seek medical aid??"
"I'm okay! ...why do you ask?"
"You just got bit by Zyz! I'm so sorry, I've told him to not do that with others but-!"
"Hey, it's okay. Look, these things happen and I know that's just your species' way of showing affection. Just tell him to ask next time and to not bite too hard."
"... 'these things happen' .... 'tell him to ask next- human Kim has this happened to you before?!"
"Oh lots of times! I used to work at a daycare on earth before this. Now, you wanna talk about bites let me tell you about Penny, she was a biter. So was my nephew but that was him stimming. I just asked that he get my attention first so as to not startle me."
"Is this the same Penee who gave you 3 stitches?"
"Yep."
-"Human Kim, thank you for helping Pollix become comrades with the other younglings! May I ask how you did it so I may use it in the future?"
"Of course! It wasn't anything special really, we just wrestled which caught the attention of the other kids and soon enough they were cheering for Pollix to win. Then after that Xw and a few others asked Pollix to teach her how to wrestle as well." they finished with a smile.
"YOU WHAT!"
"I-I thought play wrestling and fighting was encouraged among young tighalax. I am so sorry if I did something wrong-!"
"Human Kim, you could have DIED."
"...huh?"
"Tighalaxes have what you call drugs in the points of our tails and one cut should drive you insane. Not only that but we, as younglings, should be nearly twice your body weight. And at this age have yet to control our strength!"
"Ooh so that's why I felt high! Phew! I thought I accidentally ate my weed muffin instead of the regular one, and we can't have that."
"You felt 'high'?"
"Yeah but only for 10 minutes, luckily I usually just get tired and relaxed when high. And for the weight strength part, I grew up babysitting all of my younger siblings and cousins. My child carrying records are 5 4-6 year olds, 4 7-12 year olds, 3 teenagers, and 2 childish giants who are somehow 21 this year."
"...any chance I can bribe you to quit and come work for me and my pack?"

Monstober 2024
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Monster-Enthusiasts, Monster-Lovers, and Monster-Fucker, I call upon thee! This upcoming October is going to be spooky!
It's time for a whole month of delicious monster content! Whether you want them to stalk, to hunt, or to devour your little protagonists (mind you, the monsters are the real protagonists of the story, hehe), I want to see a month dedicated to the beauty of the Ugly and Horrible! All things monster are welcome—art, writing, any kind of showcasing a monster! No matter how cruel or how obscene you like it—now's the time to show it off! ♥
I have prepared a list of monsters & prompts for your guidance, however, if you'd rather do a different monster or a different prompt, that is totally fine! If you prefer to stay private and not have your post reblogged to this blog, that is totally alright, too! This is merely for fun and giggles, and I welcome everyone who wants to challenge themselves this upcoming October to use this list if they want!
How to participate in my Monstober:
- Starting October 1st create something with the monster or prompt of the day! That is all you have to do.
You don't have to do all days or even in chronological order. Feel free to alter the prompts as needed. Your monsters do not have to match the usual descriptions of their kind! Post whenever and whatever you like as long as it is still connected to monsters!
- If you want your entry to be reblogged: @ me yandere-sins in your post, don't forget to put content warnings if any apply (especially Violence & Sexual Content—however, those are very welcome!), and put long texts (once they reach 3k words) under a read more! I'll reblog the posts as soon as I see and have the time to get to them!
