Do you have Headcanons about Finland and Sweden's relationship with America and Canada?

Yes, but to be honest I go a lot back and forth between them since I can't decide on when I believe they (Canada and America) actually "popped up". Especially Canada.

It's a popular headcanon in the Hetalia fandom that Canada used to be Vinland, however brief that period of time might have been, but that also means it'd technically makes sense Norway would be his biological father. Or as close as biological as nations can get anyway. - However, Norway has such strong Uncle Vibes in my head that I'm honestly not sure what to do with that. That, and I really like Sweden as a father figure for them over Norway...

Some people also imagine Canada to have "popped up" later though, such as with Novia Scotia and/or closer to when the French arrived. Either way there's no denying both hws Canada and America seems to have been influenced a LOT by the Nordics. Canada essentially has Norway's eyes and longer hair, Denmark's hair colour, glasses like Sweden and a weird mix between Norway's and Sweden's personality. Meanwhile America seems to have a mix of Finland's and Denmark's personality, Den's and Swe's haircolour and Den's eyes. The path to independence from their older brother figures also have some similarites between Sweden's and America.

It's also canon for Hetalia that (hws) Sweden and Finland were the ones who first found (hws) America. They were the ones who found him, but Sweden got injured by Netherlands when he (and Finland) tried to adopt America. (It's after this that hws Finland goes and talk/complain to France and England that Netherlands kicked them out.)

Sweden and Finland also have a lot of later history with USA and Canada, and in Hetalia it's canon America confessed he wanted a father figure. Finland offered to be his father and told America he'd even grow a beard when America basically told Finland that he might be able to see him as one if Finland looked older. x)

However, no matter what I or anyone else see Sweden's and Finland's "biological relationship" to be with the NA siblings in the future, I do believe Sweden and Finland would be great mentor figures.

I strongly believe Sweden and Finland, together or one by one, would be great stable figures in the NA's siblings lives and a more neutral party to show them the ropes of the nation world. It's obvious America and Canada still care a lot about both England and France, but there are always going to be things you don't want to ask the same people who raised you/ once witnessed you run around butt-naked because you threw a tantrum about clothes.

*(Cough)* With all said, you asked for some headcanons, SO!

- Finland and Canada have regular hockey practises with each other. Sweden sometimes join as well, but despite how much he loves the sport his eyesight makes it difficult to join during its' worse days.

- America once challenged Finland to paintball, at that point not knowing about Finland's history of sniping. America learnt his lesson the hard way after a crushing defeat. x)

- One day Kumajirou got lost during a world meeting and the entire world of nations were running around searching for him to make sure no humans accidentally found him first. Canada eventually found Kumajirou eating the building's entire stock of fish in the kitchen, and so they all went back to the meeting, announcing they found Kumajirou.

"Then whose polar did I find?" a confused Sweden asked to everyone's horror as he came inside, carrying another polar bear (cub).

To this day they still have no idea where the second polar bear came from, but it wasn't Kumajirou. 😂 Sweden was very sad he wasn't allowed to keep the lil' fella, but the polar bear was sent to a big secret nature reservate in north Canada, one that Canada himself takes care of. The polar bear is now living a happy life with a lot of fish of his own. x)

- Both America and Canada learnt the hard way that North America isn't the only continent with moose. Now they know. 😂 xD

- Both Canada and America have known how to build cabins and log houses for a long time, but Sweden later helped them master detailed whittling, general woodwork and carving.

- Both America and Canada have a soft spot for Sealand and Ladonia, who they view as some kind of mix between nephews and younger siblings.

- (ScotNor, SuFin & General BIG Family bonus) : Given how connected the NA siblings are to the UK-siblings, France and the Nordics, Finland eventually began to invite them all for Christmas in gigantic family celebrations. 😄

- SuFin bonus: America looks up to Sweden's and Finland's long and stable relationship as something he would want for himself in the future, and thus once tried to ask Sweden for dating advice. However...

Fin, from the other side of the house: "YOU'RE ASKING THE WRONG PERSON! SWEDEN WAS A PINING IDIOT FOR OVER A MILLENIUM WITHOUT TELLING ME ANYTHING - I WAS THE ONE WHO CONFESSED FIRST!"

America, looking at Sweden's embarrassed face: "Ah."

- Canada and Sweden are bear buddies, both having an interest in bears.

- Canada and Sweden go on regular visits to the polar bear reservate Canada has to visit the lil' random fella Sweden found during the Lost Kumajirou episode. x)

- Kumajirou has taken a big liking to Sweden. Cuba and Sweden are now the only nations Kumajirou allows to baby-sit him whenever Canada is off on business somewhere. 💙

- Both Finland and Sweden are really good bakers, something America's and Canada's sweet tooth appreciates a lot. 🧡

Hetalia Platonic Ships Week Day 2: Coronvirus Chaos

When the virus hit, all the countries were forced to cancel the meeting and quarantine at their respective houses, and use zoom. Here are my headcanons of how the 1p and 2ps would fair!

Americans: With quarantine active, Alfred and Allen had to stay home which also meant the states stay too. Because this is our lovable all-American family, they go full-on zombie apocalypse mode with California and New York trying to panic buy all the toilet paper. Needless to say, they're not on grocery duty anymore. After this initial panic, things start out fine despite Alfred's meltdown about not getting to go to McDonald's anymore and Allen's subsequent victory lap because he won't have to be near the junk anymore. As their giant house is built on an estate because where else is big enough to put fifty kids and various farm and exotic animals including a large enough pool for Ameriwhale, and workshop with various vehicles Allen immediately takes control of the kitchen from Alfred and is dead set on making him eat better. He also gets the kids in on it and soon enough Alfred is hogtied to his chair, courtesy of Texas, and trying out every vegan dish Allen wants. The kids are wild and it doesn't take long for cabin fever to start kicking in though, but both Alfred and Allen are able to mitigate this by planning daily hikes and other outdoor activities. Oregon doing yoga much to the chagrin of a sailor mouthed New Jersey, Texas and Arizona teach everyone the ways of the wide-open range and many survival skills. Lastly, everyone has many movie marathons beginning with, of course, Marvel. Tony also joins them after coming out of his video game hibernation. One question why no one's one's thought to ask Tony about making a cure for the pandemic with his alien tech. Though that may be a good thing as who knows how that alien stuff would affect a human.

Alfred likes to mess with the filters on the screen to tick off Authur but gets serious when it matters. Also, Tony hacks into the meeting from time to time to hear updates so he can better understand how to cure the virus and also troll everyone. Allen is running damage control to keep the kids from killing themselves and they'll often switch.

The Canadians: Similar to the Americans with how they're quarantined at home with the 13 provinces. They actually start panic buying too. However, instead of toilet paper, they buy up everyone's pancake ingredients and a bottle of maple syrup insight into every normal human's befuddlement. Hey, feeding 13 kids is hard! Unlike the states, the 13 last even shorter t thanks to Quebec who sees a prime opportunity to rebel once more. As for groceries, Quebec gets them for his punishment. Kuma and Kumajirou provide great comfort to animals when it starts getting tense and anxious due to cabin fever. Not only that, but they bring home the literal bacon with James when he goes hunting. Watching Kuma go pounding through the woods with Kuma on his back is a sight to behold and has since gained over 5 billion views on Utube. Everyone helps out in remedying this by creating a ginormous fort for them all to sleep in. This eventually includes Quebec when his punishment ends. Kuma likes sitting in Canada's lap during zoom meetings while James often struggles with keeping the provinces in check. Cue him doing an exact impression of the video with the woman sliding in like she's on ice to get the kids out while her husband is on video.

The Frenchmen: Francis, the drama queen that he is, freaks out about not being able to go out anymore and being forced to wear such ugly masks. Luiz could care less as this is exactly what he's been doing and just carries on until he hast to calm Franics' shrieking at how he'd been forced to home and not go shopping anymore. Francis ends up collaborating with Flavio in his new mask line to remedy the 'threat to fashion everywhere.' He also keeps up with his and Author's rivalry by mail, fondly reminding him of the previous years dealing with ink and a quill. Both Francis and Author have their own chatroom dubbed 'Britain and France's fighting chatroom," or more affectionately, "The 100 years chat."

The German Brothers: They all buy up the beer and Ludwig starts implementing extra training because 'you can't let a pandemic let you get soft! Now run like you're running from a human-sized germ!' Their house soon becomes a minefield with the prank war Lutz and Prussia initiate. Klaus loves the extra peace and quiet he's been getting now. Blackie, Astor, and Berlitz are happy their humans are home much more often now and are getting very spoiled. Ludwig takes control of the computer while on zoom because he knows what the others would do with they got it. Lutz and Gilbert keep making fart sounds and shuffling noises in the background, leaving Klaus to just sigh and a tomato face Ludwig to stammer on with the meeting.

The Italians: Flavio takes one look at the masks and immediately gets inspired for a new, pandemic edition, line of masks, and mask-related cloths including the two in one mask dress. Luciano let all his men go home with their only orders to be safe and stay healthy as he's not willing to relive the Black Plague. Lovino will never admit this, but he's kind of glad for the pandemic since it's given him the chance to spend time with his brother. Though this doesn't;t stop Spain from calling to check in 3 times a day. Feliciano tries to do all kinds of new things to keep everyone's spirits up and is also the guy who stole all the store's pasta, tomatoes, and sauce. Flavio makes all four of them show up fashionably late to the zoom conference despite it being online.

The Russians: Viktor keeps up with his work as much as possible and both he and Ivan have to hide their grins when their president has to quarantine. They don't really like him much. Ivan tries looking at pictures of sunflowers to keep himself occupied. He fears the loneliness quarantine brings, but Viktor tries to be around more so he doesn't get so lonely as he's also felt that pain before. He doesn't want Ivan to be like him who doesn't have friends nor the time for them. Out of the two, Viktor is the most serious about his work and is often seen using zoom for meetings.

The Japanese: Both are enjoying the introvert's paradise but are also worrying over the rising cases in their countries especially since they had to host the Olympics. They did so flawlessly but also struggled in keeping things as stable as possible. They both hold guilt for putting their citizens in such a dangerous situation. Both end up doing a video game/anime marathon with the rest of the Otaku club over zoom. Kuro sets to work refining his swordsmanship skills and actually starts forging new ones. He's a great weaponsmith! Kiku also takes the time to practice his calligraphy. They're the one's who'd have anime playing in the background or their cat, Japaneko, getting in the way.

And last but not least, the ones who started it all, the Chinese: Yao continually works around the clock trying to analyze the bad and how the pandemic got out of hand. Xiao ends up being the one who actually started this because he dared the guy to at the soup. He feels a lot of guilt over this and, in a rare showing of maturity from him, is also working by Yao to fix his mistake that not only risked his and everyone else's people but also killed so many. The pandemic will likely be one of their greatest shames. On a lighter note, Yao can't figure out how zoom works and Xiao likes programming troll hacks into the computer to mess with him.

Headcannon for Allies + Canada when their toddler comes in with a toy doctors kit and gives their daddy medicine (which is actual M&Ms)

America:

Wait- Where did you even get a doctor's kit from? What happened to the fastfood kit he got you?

He plays along with it, and thinks it's super, wicked adorable that his kid cares so much.

He has to hold back his laughter when his toddler gives him M&Ms and goes

"You have cranky sick..."

He also played along and pretended he didn't want to take the "medication". Which lead to a bottle of sprite.

Then it dawned on him none of these food items were left in a place his could could have reached.

AKA the kitchen chairs were used as stepping stones to the counter.

England:

It was another long night, and Arthur had stayed up trying to get paperwork done.

But just when he thought he could get to work, his toddler came waddling through the door.

When England questioned his kid why, the small human gave him a handful of "sleepy pills"

England had to fight back the tears. It never occurred to him that his child was old enough to realize he was over working himself.

So they both went and fell asleep together watching a movie. Work can wait until morning.

France:

It was wine time for France. So he thought.

He almost spilled his drink when he saw his kid with a bag of candies and a doctor kit.

Cue him panicked and hiding his alcohol.

He just about wheezed when the kid was using their fake stethoscope to check his heart beat through his kneecap.

The kid gave a dramatic gasp, and gave him a bon bon to help bring his heartbeat back.

France probably cried on the inside at how adorable and dramatic the child was being. But now he has to explain he doesn't need his heart checked every hour. Good luck with that buddy.

China:

It took him a second to realize why his kid was giving their fake panda a bandaid.

He went to ask them, but quickly went to the "ER" (the couch) to have surgery.

China tried convincing his child to try older remedies for... "Carrot dots"

On the other hand China's medication to make him sleep through his surgery was a chocolate strawberry. So no complaints.

But never fall asleep on a toddler.

When china finally came around he had to cheer up a crying child due to the surgery being a "failure". And China has to figure out where all those stuffed animals came from...

Russia:

Keep an eye out for this one. Russia has not only discovered he can trick his kid into giving him food for good behavior as the kids patient, but it's a sneaky way to not shovel snow leaving who ever else to deal with it.

Though he does really enjoy teaching his kid all the ways a person can bleed out.

Thank God he has the common sense to not traumatize his kid though!

But who ever walks in on these two and their appointment will be met with a very angry tiny being, and a "big ol scary Russian" covered in Disney stickers and probably 5 boxes of bandaids, and at least one lollipop stuck in his mouth. Give or take the sticks he bit off.

Canada:

Ah yes, a chance for a free healthcare joke. Except Canada wasn't the target. His polar bear was.

It was a fake vet set up, a small cardboard box with a poorly drawn heartbeat on it.

Kumajirou was sleeping through the whole thing as Matty's kid was carefully cutting fur of of his with safety scissors.

Cue a panicked Canada, a grumpy polar bear, and a happy child giving them both head pats and candies/fish.

Earthbound: Matthew’s Story

Context:

Hundreds of years after the fall of Earth, mankind is slowly starting to return. Some people have a stronger urge to return than others, confused by fragments of memories from a life already lived.

Matthew is four. His family have got their first dog and it’s a large, fluffy creature, all flank and tail and teeth. Matthew is horrified, at first, at this large thing that has suddenly appeared in his house, and he cries and tries to get away from it when it approaches him in the living room.

‘Just come say hello,’ Daddy says, hoisting him up to sit on his knees and taking his small hand in his larger one. His father’s body curls around him and, enveloped in arms, Matthew feels safe. His daddy reaches out his hand, thus, Matthew’s hand, giant thumb in the middle of his palm so that it is pinned there, and holds it aloft in front of the creature.

A large wet nose immediately descends and Matthew squeals because it is cold and strange and scary and Daddy shushes him, bouncing him on a knee. ‘He won’t bite’, Daddy says, ‘I won’t let him hurt you. He’s just trying to say hello; doggies say hello a little differently, is all.’

He kisses Matthew’s temple and rocks him, gently. ‘Want to try again?’

He is not but he nods and says yes because he wants to be brave and strong and he trusts Daddy, he does, or he really really wants to. At his reply, Daddy holds out their hands again, in front of the thing’s mouth, and whispers soothing nothings in Matthew’s ear- he’s not paying attention, too focused on the mouth with the teeth.

The creature snuffles their hands before giving them a lick, pink rough tongue and slobber; Matthew gasps, surprised, and then laughs. Daddy chuckles, and Matthew feels the vibrations rumble through him. ‘See? I told you; he only wants to be your friend. He’s called Kumajirou.’

The name doesn’t quite stick, too long and cumbersome for Matthew’s tentative tongue and he becomes Kuma, instead. It fits.

Matthew is eleven and wishes people could be more like dogs, open and friendly and honest about all that they are. He finds people too quick, children especially: too sly and fast and always with something hidden behind their smile. He’s figured out that he isn’t really a people person, anyway- it’s not that he doesn’t like people, exactly, but he doesn’t really know how to act around them; doesn’t know what to say or how to read them properly and now the whole process of opening his mouth to speak to someone feels daunting, like standing on the roof of his house and forcing himself to step off.

Matthew likes to sit on his thoughts, chew them about in his mouth a bit and be sure of the shape they will form before he lets them go. This means that he takes too long, is silent more often than not because kids his age don’t have the patience to stop and wait for him to get himself ready, lining up his words like soldiers about to march.

He’s known as the silent one at school, blending into the environment like a piece of furniture. Whether it’s in lessons, in sports, in games, or anything in between, his classmate’s eyes glaze past him and he knows that they’ve forgotten he’s there, forgotten that he’s an option to speak to. They’re not mean to him, they just don’t think about him, anymore. Even adults are not immune, more used to handling the demands of the louder kids, dazzled by the brightness of the smarter ones, fond of the affectionate children. Matthew is only half there, he supposes, sitting in the background with a mouthful of words that won’t come out when he wants them to.

Sometimes he wonders if he’s even really there at all, because that’s what life is all about, isn’t it? Memories of things and people and places and conversations- moments you share with other people that plant you in time, leaving a mark of your life like a footprint in their existence. He feels like a ghost of a person, a shade of parts that resemble someone else and it leaves him more tongue tied than ever.

But if Kuma is there, wherever he is, it’s instantly better because Matthew can be himself, can feel something loosen inside him and let him act like a person because Kuma loves him no matter what. Dogs act the same to everyone as long as you’re good to them- love them even a little. Kuma doesn’t care if Matthew doesn’t want to talk, or doesn’t know how he properly wants to say something. Kuma doesn’t care if Matthew struggles to find his words, tripping and stumbling over them as they clog his mind, clumping awkwardly on his tongue.

Kuma will sit there, patient and still, as Matthew whispers his day into his fur, words clear and strong and unsullied by fear in a way they never are with people. He will lick him on the nose and shove his head onto his lap when Matthew has curled himself into a ball in his room, replaying his day over and over so much that his mistakes blur together like paint, colouring everything with a smear of shame.

Matthew is fourteen and he feels as though he finally understands something. It starts as a small something, creeping and pattering through him and leaving tiny tracks in his mind, but now it’s growing larger and stronger, moving within him and sending his thoughts racing.

Kuma died a few months ago. This is what started it, Matthew knows, seeing Kuma slow and slow, more so each year, before, towards the end, it took all he had left to just lift his head. Matthew had felt terrible, of course- at a loss and helpless sitting there with him, stroking Kuma’s head and whispering final goodbyes. His father had joined him on the floor, both of them cocooned by a companionable silence in a way they couldn’t be at any other time, and Matthew felt truly heard, to the bottom of everything he was, in the depths of his grief. This was a moment that needed no words, was a thing that could not be named- only felt and experienced.

His father is a research scientist at some big lab in the heart of the colony and is more used to theory and hypothetical than practical application, but he had found some e-tab journals on dogs, about how their bodies worked and how to fix them, and used his skills to pour over them with Matthew on the floor, studying the miniscule entries as much as he could to provide some help. Matthew watched, days lit by the flash of the e-tab as story after journal after analysis was checked and rechecked by his father beside him. There was no medicine that could save Kuma, no special cure for age, but there was some information about helping it, easing it- gentling death until it was as soft as sleep and Matthew’s father tried each and every one that he found. Kuma left them with a shift and a sigh and Matthew was surprised at death’s kindness, how easy it could be.

His father, haggard, tired, and sad, had given something of himself for Kuma, and Matthew felt so proud of him, thankful for the benefit it had given his oldest friend. Kuma is gone, but Matthew thinks of that shared peaceful end, of those journals filled with age old accounts from long dead men. He realises that there must be many of these e-tab entries about so many other animals, the few that are left and the thousands that there were before and he flicks onto one, in passing, just to see.

That’s all it takes. One leads to another, which leads to another and another and another and then Matthew can’t stop himself from drinking up as many as he can sync to, allowing himself to be pulled down through trees of evolution, skipping through the classifications of mammals to haunt reptiles and glide past the wingspan of birds. There used to be so many animals, more than he can ever name, more than he can ever conceive being possible- in the seas and the skies and the land and all at once. In, out, around- a planet teeming with things besides humans, living alongside the hulking toxic growth known as mankind and breathing life into the skies.

When earth fell they were lost, all apart from the few that the survivors managed to cling to, stolen away in their bags and clutched under an arm. Small animals and creatures that could be carried and fed easily with scraps that weren’t needed by another fleeing human life, or domesticated food that was herded and pushed, clueless, into a slaughterhouse of spaceships. It is redundant, of course- a pointless skill for him to nurture but Matthew is hungry for all of it; drawn in and hooked to something beyond his control he syncs file after file, strange creatures taking shape in his mind to migrate the past into his waking day.

Matthew’s colony is one of those ones where they like to push people, like to specialise their children early and drive them to great things. They’re good at what they do, structurally organised to churn out success and Matthew see the benefit of this, finally. He hadn’t really taken part before, hadn’t really shown an interest in pushing himself into a single category, but now, all of a sudden, he wants to do what his dad does.

Well, not exactly what his dad does, numbers and figures and study of physics, but the process of it. The breaking down of information, the mythological categorising of data; the calm soothing expectation of silent contemplation. So, he picks to try to become a research scientist too, selects classes that will give him access to greater libraries and archives and locked journals for deeper study, searching for fur and teeth and claws amongst them.

Matthew is eighteen. He managed to find a uni that taught a few classes in veterinary studies, the medical beginnings for those wanting to specialise as a vet. Matthew doesn’t want to do this, exactly -he’s more interested in how animals work and what they’re like, what colours they come in and how big they are- but if he becomes a vet it will allow him to work with animals all day and this, small as it is, could be enough. He isn’t sure, really; doesn’t really know exactly what he wants other than to learn but he hopes that if he takes enough classes, he’ll eventually figure something out.

The bell rings and he stands, gathering his things and heading out of class -anatomy of canines, his favourite- and turns a corner, slinging his bag over a shoulder and aiming for the canteen where he hopes they’re serving pancakes. He keeps missing them, never making the queue in time, but today he’s hoping that maybe he can manage to push his way through. Suddenly, as he turns a corner someone bumps into him, not seeing him at all, it seems, and everything crashes to the floor, e-tab skidding away out of sight.

There’s a mumbled ‘watch it!’ from someone whom Matthew doesn’t see, just a mouthless shout from a sea of strangers, and then he’s left scrabbling on the floor, parting students like a boulder in a river. Out of the corner of his eye, he catches a glint of metallic grey and a flash of Kuma’s tail across the hallway by a wall. He sighs in relief and scoots his way over, bending to snatch his tab up before it can get trodden on and straightening to come face to face with an e-board, notice shining bright and loud.

Matthew blinks at it, then shakes his head and blinks again when the advert doesn’t change, displaying something he never thought possible. It’s Earth, there and large and green and Matthew can’t read the words properly because, out of nowhere, his eyes are filled with tears and he’s crying- great shuddering breaths that turn heads and rip his voice from out of him.

Earth. Earth, there, open. Looking for people. He’s crying, crying so hard he can’t breathe, just gasp and choke and cry and people stop to stare at him because all of a sudden he’s the centre of attention, the loudest thing there is. He can’t control himself, can’t reign it in because at the top, under a heading for ‘Looking for skills in:’ he sees-

Animal care.

He doesn’t need to think, doesn’t need to read any further, doesn’t even stop to feel shame for his outburst; class forgotten, lunch forgotten, life forgotten he sprints home, avoiding the shuttles and cars he runs as fast as his legs can carry him, pounding on the electric walkways that shoot through town and feeling himself grow lighter and lighter with each step.

His mother and father don’t want him to go, mother clinging to him with arms wrapped tight around his neck. They feel, briefly, like a noose and Matthew chokes to think of listening to them- at the thought of staying here.

He loves them, he loves them- they’re his parents and he loves them so fucking much but this is something he needs to do, has to do and as he pulls away from his mother and meets his father’s eyes he can see that his father knows this too.

‘You may not get to work with animals,’ he says seriously, ‘at least not the ones you want.’ Matthew’s mother steps back to look at his father in horror, betrayal raw on her face as she realises that his father isn’t saying no Matthew can’t go, that he must stay. She reads the acceptance there, understands the truth of it and leaves the room to compose herself, Matthew staring after her sad but determined.

Matthew nods. ‘I know.’

His father steps forwards and puts a large land on his shoulder, rooting him in this moment. ‘If you’re not happy, will you come home?’

Matthew feels his eyes begin to burn, throat tighten, and thinks of the birds he’ll see even if he works in a lab, the insects he will find and small animals he can watch from a window; life spilling over the edges to bleed into buildings. ‘I’ll be happy.’

This is a blog dedicated to doing imagines surrounding my original human au. Here’s a description for each character's place in the au and rules for requests — I’ll be adding more characters as I get more comfortable writing for them.

*I did change the names of some characters so that they would reflect the countries they come from

*Also: this shit long, so strap in and get ready

☆Rules for Imagines☆

I’ll do imagines, or a bullet point list of up to 6 characters at one time, or a written scenario for up to 3 characters

I’ll also do nyos and genderbends of each character (ngl, I simp after nyo!America), their placement in the au won't change.

I include South Italy and Prussia in the axis, and Canada in the Allies

I’ll write fluff, smut, angst, and everything in between

I absolutely won’t write: incest, explicit sexual assault or excessive gore

The only time I will do romantic/sexual imagines for the characters who canonically have the physical appearance of people under 18 is if you explicitly state that you want them aged up, or if the reader is also underage. If you request adult x minor, I will discard your ask & invert your rib cage.

Before submitting, check if they’re open or not, they won’t always be due to not wanting my page cluttered with them

When requesting, include personality, interests, dislikes, any pets you have, fun facts about yourself, and possibly clothing style

Don’t bother to include physical features as those will not be taken into account when pairing you up with someone

Include whether you want the matchup to be romantic, platonic, or one of each

North America

America | Alfred Jones, age 19

A young man that's cheerful and strong, with a strong sense of justice. He often can't read situations and has a habit of ruining the mood, whatever mood that may be. While he’s usually labeled as “incompetent”, he’s attending college (or university, depending where you’re from) to obtain a bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering. He plays as the pitcher on his college’s baseball team, able to throw a devastating fastball. He lives in a two bedroom apartment with his twin brother, Matthew. He had a crush on Amelia Earhart when he was younger, and it’s something that Matthew teases him about on a weekly basis.

Canada | Matthew Williams, age 19

On the surface, he's an easygoing, softhearted and gentle young man, around his twin brother and close friends, however, he can be quite sassy, nearly bordering on rude on occasion. He's in his first year of college for a degree in statistics. For the college, he plays as the Center on the hockey team, where he lets out steam on his opponents. He has a pure white rag-doll cat named Kumajirou that follows him around his and Alfred's apartment. He curses regularly in french.

United Kingdom

England | Arthur Kirkland, age 23

He's either a quick-witted, sarcastic and stubborn man, or the paragon of a perfect gentleman. He enjoys reading, writing (although he doesn’t show anyone his stories), and embroidering. He’s gotten so skillful at it, that he has a well-traversed Etsy shop. He’s currently in his last year of getting his Postsecondary Education degree and a minor in linguistics. When he was a teenager, he was a delinquent, going to loud concerts, fighting, dyeing his hair wild colors, and smoking. While he says he’s over it, he still keeps various CDs of OK Go and The Rolling Stones, as well as band t-shirts. It’s something that his 3 older brothers refuse to let go of.

Baltic

Estonia | Eduard von Bock, Age 19

He's a graduated honors student who has avoided many problems with wit. Usually in front of people he acts calm, logical, and businessman-like, but in private he’s actually pretty chill, albeit a bit quiet. He’s awesome with technology, and works part-time at his college as an IT advisor while he studies to get his Quality Control & Safety Technologies degree.

Latvia | Raivis Galante, age 15

He’s a boy who has been through quite a bit, making him an introvert, easily intimidated, and kind of a crybaby. He’s in his first year of high school, but due to him having an anxiety disorder, he does it digitally. The only problem is that he strives to have friends who are close to him and care for him unconditionally. He secretly likes to read cutesy romance novels from the young adult section.

Lithuania | Toris Laurinaitis, age 19

He's a patient, shy, and gentle person who has the ability to become pretty serious when he needs to be. He works as a librarian assistant while he decides between a degree in social work or education. He, unfortunately, usually over-thinks his decisions too much, causing him to have anxiety attacks. When he’s not working, he’s typically just dragged around by his close friend, Feliks, but he has a good time nonetheless.

Nordic

Denmark | Mathias Køhler, age, 19

He’s a genuine sweetheart who often accidentally always yells. While he is kind, he’s also a bit thick-headed, although he always has the best of intentions. He considers himself to be very close to his friends, especially to Lukas, although the other man’s opinion on the matter is about the opposite. He attends college for a master’s degree in, surprisingly enough, Business Administration. When he isn’t studying, he enjoys clinging to his friends and drinking. He has the habit of playing online video games with Alfred and Gilbert for way too long at a given time. He also gets oddly competitive over his degree with Tino.

Finland | Tino Väinämöinen, Aged 20

He's a gentle, cheery young man with a tendency to like the more simplistic things in life. He seems very mature, yet can be childlike. He loves relaxing in saunas, especially with his close friends. He has a small Maltese pup named Hanatamago who attends dog shows. When he’s not attending dog shows, he does online college for a masters in Medical Assisting.

Iceland | Emil Steilsson, age 17

He’s a mysterious boy with a cool exterior and a hot interior, being a bit easy to provoke with teasing. His older half-brother often insists that he was ‘born in his emo phase’. He taught his pet puffin (geniously named Mr. Puffin) a lot of profanity in Icelandic, Norwegian, and English. He attends high school, which he is absolutely over. On a side note, even though Lukas is his half-brother, he often refuses to have any connection to him whatsoever in public.

Norway | Lukas Bondevik , age 18

He is, like his half-brother, very introverted. However, he is considerably more cold to strangers, but to his close friends, he can (sometimes) be very sweet. He just recently finished highschool, but intends on going straight into college for an Applied Data Science degree. He practices Modern Paganism, or Wicca, as his religion.

Sweden | Berwald Oxenstierna, Aged 21

He’s a guy with an intimidating air who doesn’t talk much. On the inside he’s playful, but it doesn’t show at all and he just seems intimidating. He works as a carpenter after he went to a trade high school, a job that he greatly enjoys. Other than that, he likes decorative arts and being a part of debates on his free time. While he can create furniture out of wood scraps without any blueprints, he can’t put together IKEA furniture to save his life.

Eastern Europe

Belarus | Natalia Arlovskaya, age 19

While she can be extremely possessive over her older brother and sister, she means well. She openly looks up to both of them, as they are the only two people in her life that have remained constants. She lives with both of them in a house and works part-time at her sister’s flower shop. She’s also a part-time online student with a pursuit of a criminology degree.

Russia | Ivan Braginski, age 21

He has the simplicity of a country bumpkin, an easy-going personality, and the cruelty of a child, all mixed together. Coupled with his personality traits and the fact that he’s well over 6 feet tall, he constantly (and accidentally) gives off an intimidating air. He attends college for a Avionics Technology bachelor's degree. Deep down, he’s incredibly passionate about ballet, more specifically Russian ballet, his favorite being Don Quixote, with Sleeping Beauty as a close second.

Ukraine | Katyusha Braginskaya, age 24

Ivan and Natalia’s older sister who always recklessly gets dragged into their messes. She's an absolute sweetheart who strives to make the people around her happy, even at her own expense. She can be very emotional. She owns a flower shop where she let’s her younger siblings work part-time while they go to school.

Central Europe

Germany | Ludwig Beilschmidt, age 20

He's a young man with an overly serious personality and a pessimistic nature. He's very by-the-book and has a pet peeve for a lack of cleanliness. He attends college for mechanical engineering and dorms with Feliciano and Kiku. His older brother, Gilbert, regularly breaks in and hangs out with them. His hobbies are reading, making sweets and taking walks with his dogs (that live with Gilbert). He’s in a garage band with the three aforementioned guys. He does, however, want to be a soldier like the other members in his family. Unfortunately, due to an injury to his leg that he sustained as a kid, he can’t.

Hungary | Elizabeta Héderváry, age 26

She’s a sweet, reliable woman with a bit of a boyish streak. For a career, she works doing maintenance on a farm that belongs to a close friend, Basch (Switzerland). In her free time, she likes riding horses, going hiking and practicing instruments, one of which is the tekerőlant. She has a young child, Julian (Kugelmugel), from a previous relationship with her ex fiance, Roderich (Austria). Thankfully, things are civil between the two.

Liechtenstein | Lili Zwingli, age 15

She’s the darling, adoptive younger sister of Basch (Switzerland). She has a big heart and helps out on her brother’s farm wherever she can, and because she spends so much time on the farm, she’s gotten decently close to Elizabeta. She enjoys feeding, brushing, and cuddling her two angora rabbits on her free time, as well as knitting. Sometimes she’ll submit her bunnies to be participants in rabbit shows (Cocoa has 1 and Cinna-bun has 3).

Poland | Feliks Łukasiewicz, age 19

He has a fierce anxiety towards strangers, and upon a first meeting, he'll act very shy. Once he gets used to someone, he'll act goofy and a bit childish, clinging onto his closest friends. He attends college for a degree in fashion design and marketing. He is also very opinionated. He often drags his friends to Francis’ patisserie for cute aesthetic pictures.

Prussia | Gilbert Beilschmidt, age 24

He comes off as rude, loud and self-centered, but he’s actually incredibly sweet and loyal almost to a fault. He’s catholic and takes his religion seriously to the point of keeping a cross necklace with him nearly all the time. While he wanted to join the army like the rest of his family, his albinism keeps him from being able to. Because of this, many members of the family see him as the Family Disappointment™, causing a strain between him and them. Unrelated, but when Ludwig lived with him, he caught Gilbert trying to play all three parts of Suite en trio, Op. 59: I. Serenade by himself with all three instruments at 2 in the morning.

Switzerland | Basch Zwingli, age 25

He’s an intimidating man with a soft heart. He owns a farm that has been in his family for generations, and it’s a job that he’s greatly proud of and fiercely protective over. He has technically adopted Lili as a daughter, but they both view each other as siblings. Regardless, Francis has still referred to him as a DILF before. He doesn’t understand what it means, and Elizabeta has assured him that he doesn't want to. On a more pure note, he enjoys attending rabbit shows whenever there’s any in the area, and has encouraged Lili to participate in them with hers.

Africa

Seychelles | Veronique Bonnefoy, age 17

She’s a southern country girl with a big heart. She's a bit sloppy and has the tendency to laze around when the weather gets warmer. She often laments over her being lonely to her friends, especially to Alfred and Matthew. She enjoys cooking, singing, and dancing. She takes after her brother figure (technically adoptive father), Francis, being a bit of a romantic herself. She’s in her senior year of high school, and is excited to be done with it. Once she ate pizza rolls in front of Francis and he almost cried.

Asia

China | Yao Wang, age 19

He’s a (mostly) easy-going person, if not a bit of a hermit. He works as a waiter currently, but attends several courses in hopes of getting his food-handlers permit to, one day, open his own authentic Chinese food restaurant. He lives with his 5 other siblings, all of which jokingly refer to him as “grandpa” due to how often he complains about back pain and makes acupuncture appointments every 2 weeks. When his 6th sibling, Kiku, moved out for college, he was pretty salty. In his free time, he mostly plays Mahjong the practices the Érhù. He’s unabashedly likes and collects cute things such as small charms and plushies.

Japan | Kiku Honda, age 19

While, at first glance, he seems quiet and serious, he can actually be quite goofy and irresponsible with his money, buying anime memorabilia and American comic books. It’s something that one of his roommates, Ludwig, lectures him about quite a bit. His other roommate, Feliciano, sees nothing wrong with it. He attends college for a degree in animation. He enjoys messing with machines and drawing.

South Korea | Im Yong Soo, age 16

He’s a hyperactive young man with strong aspirations when it comes to schooling. He shows the upmost respect to strangers and his elders alike, but when he’s around friends and immediate family he tends to be more loud and silly. He’s currently knee deep in the K-pop wave sweeping the world and practices idol dances on tiktok.

Taiwan | Mei Xiao, age 18

She is a strong-willed, fashionable young woman, but she's also said to have become more of a nervous type in recent times, unable to stop worrying. She has the tendency to be a bit smart-mouthed with a somewhat quick temper. Other than that, she has a sweet and cheerful disposition. She lives with all of her siblings (China, Japan, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Korea, and Thailand) and works as a hostess as a restaurant while she takes a break from schooling.

Mediterranean

France | Francis Bonnefoy, age 24

He's someone who does things at his own pace and has an abundance of affectionate expressions for friends, family, and strangers alike. He owns his own patisserie which has become increasingly popular as a spot for dates and hipsters to eat cute, artfully made sweets and drink aesthetically pleasing coffees and teas. He loves culture and the arts, as well as paintings and clothing.

North Italy | Feliciano Vargas, age 20

He's a cheerful guy who can be a little bit of a crybaby. While he relies on his friends a lot, he deeply cares for them. He's attending college for a fine arts degree where he shares a dorm room with Ludwig and Kiku. He enjoys painting, singing and designing clothes. Also, while only a few people know this, he can play both acoustic and electric guitar. He’s in a garage band with Ludwig, Kiku, and Gilbert

South Italy | Lovino Vargas, age 22

He constantly starts arguments and fights, however he’s also a bit of a coward. He has the ability to be hardworking, but often doesn’t out of laziness. While he’ll never admit it, he’s quite the hopeless romantic, striving to find someone who will love him despite his flaws. He’s in college to obtain a bachelor's in agricultural studies with a minor in history, but absolutely refused to share a dorm with his younger brother, who he often teases about choosing to get a ‘useless art degree.’ He enjoys gardening, dancing, and playing the acoustic guitar in his free time. He also likes sketching, but due to feeling insecure, he never shows people his work, or even tells them that he does it.

Spain | Antonio Fernandez Carriedo, age 24

While he can be oblivious and even insensitive, he’s a generally friendly person with a cheerful deposition. He works as a bartender in a decently popular bar in the downtown of his city that’s within walking distance of his house. When he’s not working, he enjoys playing the flamenco guitar and practicing dancing. Since he’s very sociable, before work, he typically stops by Francis’ pastry shop to talk to him as he closes up.

Also, did you know that, in canon, Feliciano can play electric guitar and Ludwig can play the drums?? What I’m saying is: punk garage band w/ Kiku on vocals. Thank you for coming to my TEDtalk.

Maybe you could do- single dad!axis&allies hcs if their precious human child catches a cold and needs parental attention, but it's a world meeting soon and bosses won't be happy. Who will say "**** it" and skip the meeting just to stay with their sick child at home? Who hesitates, but decides to leave the child with professional nurses? Who'll bring child with them lol? I hope it's okay~

Ooooo I love this! I've always wondered who does and does tick off their bosses!

Sick!Child and Single Dad Allies and Axis Headcannons!

Allies:

America is 100% the kind of dad to say "screw the man! I'm taking care of my sick child!" To his bosses face. His boss wasn't happy America skipped the meeting but eventually shrugged it off. Meanwhile America is trying very discreetly to ask England and France how to take care of a sick kid since he learned Hamburgers aren't always the solution. He'll also be the kind of dad to make sure the child is actually sick, and isn't just faking it for any other reason. "Is everything okay at school? Are you being bullied???" In the end America just wants to be a good father, and almost forgets about his hero motif.

England is another one who will skip a meeting to be with his kid. He's really, REALLY focused on this second chance of being a good parental figure. And after his run in with America's rebellion, he's trying even harder to make sure his child is okay. It's almost suffocating for the kid, but England backs off once any discomfort over his hover mom nature is called out on. And if the Child is faking to be sick he'll scold the child for lying, but will still ask why. Sometimes tough love is a necessity.

France is the type of father who really wants to be with his child while their sick, but he actually doesn't stay. Instead he gives the kid the option to chose who looks after him. His heart does completely break if he leaves and the kid is visually upset. Like, the kid might feel guilty as his father walks out the door in tears dramatically. But France's boss is kind of harsh towards him, so he sees no other choice. But once the meeting is over he makes a B line to his child's side, and may or may not have brought a new toy, or some kind of treat to make up for his absence. From here on out France is by his Child's side until they get better.

China has no problem leaving his kid to go to a meeting as soon as he realizes it's just a small fever. So long the kid can move around and breath "He'll be fine". China has a "mind over matter" outlook on being sick. And so long the child isn't physically disabled by their ailments, he's made sure to have a long conversation about how his work is important for them both. However, China will skip the meeting if his kid is extremely sick, or throwing up. China has a full out fight with his boss over it, and it ends with a broken wall due to China's martial art skills.

Russia is another one who will go to the meeting so long his kid seems like they'll make a quick recovery, but that will not stop him from being completely distracted from the meeting. After all, they're in russia, it's cold. If the kid doesn't start to do well with general winter he's going to start taking extra precautions to make sure his kid doesn't get sick. When he arrives back home he's another one who has a treat or toy for the kid. He'll also try and make the kid laugh, and will talk to the kid about how boring the meeting was, and how he would have rather been home with the child. On the other hand he knows that Belarus is an amazing caretaker. Even though it seems to make her feel like they're a married family. Thankfully the Child is fully aware that aunty Bella is nothing more than an Aunt. Also, Russia has 100% given his child Vodka in an attempt to help them sleep. Immediately regretted it when the kid threw it back up.

Canada (who?) Is pretty much the perfect dad when it comes to his child getting sick. Since Canada practically raised his child to have an ungodly amount of- oh let's be real he's aware that if he doesn't go to the meeting no one will notice so he stays home with his kid and pretty much becomes the kids servant. Yet Canada knows what's best for the child and will make sure they eat plenty of protein, and if they're throwing up he won't force them to eat anything heavy. He'll, Canada will let the kid eat certain junk foods if that's what's staying down. But hydration is a must. He's even bought a cute water bottle that encourages the child to drink more. Very patient with the sick child and will respond to every beck and call, even if it's a ridiculous request. He just wants his kid to get better. But he needs to be careful or else Kumajirou will be next in line, since the tiny bear has taken it upon itself to be a weight blanket for the sick child.

Axis:

Germany is a top tier father and caretaker, so even if he can't stay with the child you KNOW he'll be calling them every chance he can get. "Did you take the medicine I left for you? No you can't mix it into the ice cream... WHY ARE YOU EATING ICE CREAM!?" He deals with Italy so this is almost a walk in the park (not derogatory). Even if he DOES want to stay, he kind of can't since he's pretty much the head hancho of the meetings. So you just KNOW the child is sick if the meeting gets cancelled last second. He does not care who he makes mad when and if he does cancel a meeting. He's another to come back with some sort of apology treat. Usually it's the child's favorite food. And also buys two in case the kid throws it back up. He's also doing his hardest to at least break the kids temperature. He wants to know he's done something good as a father. Because he sometimes wonders if he's doing things right, ya know? Will also probably catch whatever his kid has.

Japan is a very relaxed father. He's also one of the more successful one's at sensing the kid was getting sick before they even got sick, so I don't think he would ever have to miss a meeting. And if he did there's two options. The child stays with some of his co-workers in japan, or he will actually take time of. The conflict between him and his boss was done and over rather quickly, and since germany is the meeting leader, he can just get the run down from him. Japan does try a couple ancient techniques, but if they don't work he will resort to modern medicine. He's also very weary to not give his child any medication he might not need. Which is good for the kid because they probably didn't want that grape flavored cough syrup! All in all there is a quick recovery.

Italy isn't the best at taking care of his kid when they get sick. Especially because he starts to panic because he can't figure out which of the many methods of getting better he needs to try. Probably has to go to Germany and Japan for help the first couple times as well. But he gets the hang of it. He, however, cannot stand the sight or sound of puking or blood, if any. But he still tries. I don't think Italy's boss would have much conflict over him missing a meeting. Germany however might get upset because Italy never told him his kid was sick, so there's that.

Prussia is technically retired at this point so he doesn't have to worry about meetings. But pre-retirement he'd have 100% use his kid as an excuse to not go to some "unawesome" meeting. And I feel like Prussia, despite his ego, knows exactly what to do. After all he has a little brother yeah? Piece of cake for the awesome prussia! But, lol and behold he certainly dials up Russia or Germany with any questions. Will mostly complain about how not awesome being sick is, and will do what he can to make his child at the very least laugh. Which is very AWESOME!

Human Alarm Clock

This takes place during the period when England was an adult taking care of the chibi siblings Canada and America, hope you like it. ^-^

England: Canada! Come over here, will you?

Canada scrambled over to him, Kumajirou in tow. Canada was eager to get England’s approval, he had rarely asked for him since America had come to stay with them as well.

Canada: Y-yes, Mr. England?

England stared at him for a moment, trying to process what Canada had just said. He was sure that his mouth had moved, but the kid was always so quiet he could never hear what he was saying.

England: Yes, well, I have a few errands to run in the morning. If you’d like to go, I’ll buy you two new toys while we’re out, but you have to be ready by the time I am or I won’t take you with me and you can stay with the nanny instead. Am I understood?

Canada: Yes Mr. England! I’m so sorry for yelling. Oh, thank you so much, I’d love to get new toys, that’s so nice to offer eh, and I’m sure we could take Kumajirou too and he could get-

Canada trailed off to England’s ears, the excited yelling in Canada’s head wasn’t as loud as he thought, outside of it. England again pretended to understand what the child was saying, his mouth was moving a lot though so he must be excited? He took that as a yes, they would like to go.

England: I’ll see you two in the morning then, 7 am sharp.

...

The next morning.

Canada wakes up at 6 am, eager to get ready as quickly as possible. He wanted that darn toy. After getting dressed, brushing his hair and teeth and helping brush out Kumajirou’s fur with warp speed he was about to go downstairs to breakfast when he noticed America still sleeping.

He thought for a moment about waking him up, Mr. England had defiantly said the “two” of them. It was already 6:45, his bear buddy’s fur had been particularly messy that morning, so he would only have 15 minutes left for breakfast. On the other hand, he didn’t want to be a bad brother. Sure America was loud, and pushy, and took most of England’s attention, and got them both in trouble a lot, and... but he was still Canada’s brother!

Canada stood over America’s sleeping body.

Canada: America wake up, Mr. England is taking us to get toys today.

America snored.

Canada: Maybe I should be a bit louder, eh Kumajirou?

The bear shook his head

Canada: America! You need to wake up so we can go get toys! We only have 15 minutes to go- he looked at the clock We only have 13 minutes to go so you should wake up now so we can still get breakfast!

America stayed in his deep sleep, not even snoring in response this time.

Kumajirou: Maybe we should go downstairs eh? It’s not our fault that he won’t wake up.

Canada: I can’t do that, I don’t want him to think I’m a bad brother and be mad at me for the rest of the day. He daydreamed a bit about how upset America would be if he came home with Mr. England and a new toy later, “You’re a bad brother” the daydream America cried to him. I have to try harder!

Canada progressed on a series of noise making tactics that I can’t be bothered to write out, but rest assured it included banging on pots and pans, Canada “yelling” and all the other comedic chibi Canada things you can think of.

Canada had tired himself out after all his attempts, none of which had worked. He, exhausted, fell back asleep, falling on top of America as he did.

America: HEY DUDE I WAS SLEEPING WHAT DO YOU NEED!

Canada: Canada shot up, scared by America’s yelling. America, I’m so sorry to wake you, but Mr. England said if we woke up early he would get us toys, but-

America: WAIT RIGHT THERE, YOU SAID TOYS? America ran downstairs, still in his pajama’s, chanting “TOYS, TOYS, TOYS” the whole way down, Canada chased after him, both being stopped at the door by the nanny.

Nanny: Hold on there, boys, Mr. England just left. Come on let’s go have breakfast.

She led America away to the dining room, America excitedly talking about all the food he wanted. Canada stared at the door, stunned, and waited there for Mr. England to come home.

...

England walked through the door, seeing Canada and Kumajirou on the floor in front of him.

England: Oh! Canada, you slept in so I left without you. I thought you and Kumajirou wanted toys?

Canada: Y-you meant Kumajirou and I? I thought you meant me and America.

England: finally able to hear him because of both their proximity and America being distracted in the other room. Of course I meant you two, I haven’t given you as much attention since America moved in, I thought you’d want something new to play with. Ah well, maybe next time. England walked past him into the playroom with America.

Kumajirou put his paw on Canada’s shoulder as they continued to stand in front of the door.
