It's really rather unfortunate that the walls of the inn seem to be as thin as they are. Just about anyone can listen in on any conversation...

... or maybe that was specific to those who just had a real keen sense of hearing. Some of which might hear a quick creak of floorboards, followed up by footsteps rapidly leaving the area-- both just a little too close to be coincidental.

♡ If you are having a meltdown he tries his best to comfort you, he will offer to hold you and comfort you until you calm down. He rubs your back and grabs your stuffed animal and paci as he tries to rock you as he turns on cartoons

The agent didn't wince. He didn't bare his teeth, nor did he flinch, at the man's patronizing rebuttal. Instead, Richard continued to cooly lean against his cell's cold bars, his feline smirk unrelenting as he eyed other. Sizing him up, perhaps.

"Well, tha's just it," he tsked, "wha' if there is nobody who's more willin' to tell ye' wha' ye' need to know?
