You stood on the roof with Commissioner Gordon. You held the files to your chest and were a mess of nerves. You could feel the tension brewing inside your bones but Jim stood casually, dragging puff after puff from his never-ending cigarette. 

"Commissioner-" A deep voice startled you and you yelped, hiding behind Gordon 

"Calm down, will you?" Jim chastised Batman, "She's still new-"

"The reports," Your shaky hand extended towards the sword-wielding Robin 

He snatched it from your hands, and you shrank back behind Jim. He flipped through the pages and made a sound. 

"This one isn't incompetent, Gordon," Robin commented, "Decent job, Doctor," He looked at you

"T-Thank you-" You swallowed 

"Red Robin would like some details on this case-" Batman handed you a USB

"Yes, sir-" You said shakily 

"Go back down, kid-" Jim told you and you didn't need to be told twice 

It didn't matter that you'd met the Batman before. He still scared the crap out of you.  "Nice to meet you," You nodded and quickly left 

"Are you crazy?" Jim stared at Bruce, "She's been in this city for five months- You can't have her running intel!" 

"She's competent," Robin added as he went through the file, "She'll run intel because she's qualified," 

"Just-" Jim's voice dropped as he stared at Batman, "Don't let her get hurt, okay?" 

"I never intend to," He answered in a low, gravelly voice.

it might seem like he’s the one who “leads” the relationship. but in reality, it’s you that leads it. he lives to serve you. if you want something, he’ll do anything to give it to you like the lovesick little simp he is. you find it quite endearing how such a dignified gentleman like jay can lose his composure because of your beautiful presence. you want those sparkly pink stilettos? jay will get them for u. you want that burberry trench coat? jay’s got his credit card ready. such a good daddy for his pretty little princess.

however, jay does have his bratty moments. you see….he isn’t allowed to touch himself without your permission. but sometimes, when he’s away on a business trip where he isn’t allowed to bring u, he steals one of your pink silk panties and films himself jacking off, whimpering, and shooting ropes with it. he does it at the thought of you, and then texting u the video with a caption like “princess….im so sorry for being such a bad daddy. but I couldn’t help it because i miss you so much”

the moment he sends texts like that, he simultaneously feels two emotions at once - fear and excitement. he fears the power his sweet little princess possesses, yet he’s also embarrassed to admit that it sends a chill down his spine in anticipation of what you’re gonna do next.

you receive the text while you’re out getting ur hair done with ur besties. you immediately noticed the nude thumbnail of the video, leading u to dim your phone’s brightness.

it puts a smile to your face seeing jay so desperate and whiny for you, yet it also has you concocting what to do with him once he gets home.

“tsk tsk….. as fun as it is to see you like this, rules are rules. i’ve been looking for those panties everywhere. I was gonna wear them to welcome u back home tonight. but now it looks like daddy decided to be an impatient slut and take one of my pretty pink panties. beware of what’s heading your way once you’re back,” you respond.

jay follows up with this response - “yes, princess. daddy deserves to be punished for his actions. i am so sorry for being such a bratty daddy to my pretty princess. I shouldn’t have acted on my urges.”

as he aboards his flight, he’s already thinking about how you’ll be tying him up with the prettiest pink ribbons ever - a testament to who you are. sweet n’ sugary, yet deadly.

cannot believe i gotta say this but please don't follow me if you're comfortable selfshipping with canon racists. i don't care if you headcanon them as otherwise, because if their racism against a real group of people is a key facet of their character (much less incredibly important to the telling of the story that this character is a racist) then i do not wanna see it. this is not the safe space for you

Guys I’m an old people defender i wholeheartedly believe Wu is a good teacher and person (teen wu and younger was a good character, older wu doesnt have the same effect tho and just falls under a decent character)

Like guys he didn’t mean for Morro to go insane over the green ninja thing, i dont think anyone would’ve expected that to happen with a damn baby. Not to mention that as much as people like to say he abused or neglected Morro or whatever, canonically speaking he hasn’t. In the end what happened to Morro was the effect of his own insecurities and Wu’s lack of understanding.

Wu was not at fault for the whole kai getting obsessed with the green ninja thing or any of the other ninja doing the same, that was all their own faults for being all nosy (as teenage boys with too much power do.)

Wu might’ve overreacted after finding out what Garm did with the letter business in season 4, but just cause he cussed out his BROTHER once (guys they’re siblings, this is the norm and Wu was fully justified to be irritated. Also there will always be a tension between them because they’ve had to fight against each other for either decades, hundreds of years, or thousands of years. They will never have the normal sibling relationship they once only somewhat had.) that was still his brother he just lost and definitely feels guilt at not getting to reconcile PROPERLY with him. Just because you are mad at an individual, genuinely mad at them, does not mean you hate them.

Wu was not at fault for the whole Garmadon getting sent to the under world his clothes literally starts glowing mf was not planning that. He was literally about to die because of Garmadon i think he was a tad preoccupied with that.

Wu is not at fault for Lloyd becoming the green ninja, its shown that he cannot control who gets chosen and was quite obviously hoping it would be the damn teenagers trained to deal with this, not the damn baby who would have to fight his DAD. The whole reason he trained Lloyd so hard after was because he is well aware of how being the green ninja is a curse, especially to Lloyd. He knew a target was on Lloyds back now and for the rest of time and he can do nothing to remove it, only help Lloyd in handling it.

Aspheera is a huge SOGGY BISCUIT I HATE HER I AHTE HEERYEYYE. She is so hypocritical and its all her fault and not Wu’s don’t even try it (i love her character thats why i hate her sm). Wu was literally a baby when the whole betrayal thing happened, and how could he have known his damn students would open up her prison cell and she’d take Kai’s power. Kai had a right to mad about getting dragged into it but even he admits he was reacting the way he was because his powers got stolen. Aspheera was completely at fault for what happened to her.

I wont deny that whatever was going on between Misako and Wu in the early seasons was super weird, but I’m also not going to call it betrayal or cheating for Garmadon because Garmadon had been gone for a good decade and tbh it was rlly bad writing of writers trying to shove romance everywhere.

He took in a bunch of teenagers, thats something i wont deny to also be bad. But don’t you find it convenient that Wu took them each in during separate times of need? Cole, deep in grief, needed to become a ninja because it completed him. Jay, desperate for a place and purpose in this world, needed to be a ninja to become confident and aware of his worth. Zane, confused and lost, needed to be a ninja to find his own place in the world, needed to be a ninja because he needed to have a purpose, a home. Kai, angry and traumatised, needed to become a ninja to become the best version of himself. Wu knew of each of them, and only took them in when he knew they needed an outside source to lead them.

Literally i dont understand why people paint him as a villain. He has never been one. It’s like how Mystake said, the only reason one becomes wise is through their own mistakes, their own life and experiences. Wu is an old, old man. He is right when he says he’s not like how he used to be.

I could keep going, but God guys. Stop mischaracterising characters! You can dislike them all you want, its your life, but don’t change what they have done and call them a bad person when that isn’t true.

You can call Wu a character with mistakes, a character heavily in the light grey area of good and evil.

Jayroy pregnancy reveal where they bait their respective families into competing to see who can hit the smallest target possible (bats with their batarangs and grapple guns, arrows w their... well, arrows) They're all debating who hit the smallest target when Jay slams a little baggie containing a pregnancy test and an ultrasound pic on the table and Roy triumphantly shouts "0.0047 inches, baby!".

The only response is silence, and then...

"Okay, but who actually won?"

personally i love the "Jason is the emotional member of the Batfamily" interpretation of the character. He's angry. He's exuberant. His love for his family ballooned so much that it ruptured when he died and swelled into a swollen, unbearable weight when he came back. When he feels his emotions he really feels them - they're so unfathomably big that his body can't contain them.

Bruce never lets himself feel things, Dick knows how to regulate himself to a point, but Jason puts emotions first. He loves fiercely and hates explosively, gets angry and then cools off, lets fear swell & blister until it physically hurts him. And sure, he can't help poking wounds just to make people look at him, but if there's some bullshit happening, he'll be the first to stand up and make a scene. Maybe it won't be the most tactical thing to do, maybe it'll even be detrimental to the goal, but the iron is too hot to temper and sometimes that's a good thing.

Like, i know Jason can be a real punk at times, and i'm not trying to say he's a good role model by any means, but i think it's interesting and even valuable to have a character who puts their emotions first - someone who takes action far more freely and doesn't check themselves like the other characters, who is (for better or for worse) a very passionate person and not afraid of it. I think it's a great to have a character who can't (and ultimately shouldn't) follow the Bats' policies that are just variations of "bottle everything up for the sake of the mission", because they just feel everything so damn much and it's okay because that's just who they are. And i think it works best both narratively and thematically if that character is Jason.

Was anyone really bothered by how dismissive all of the ninja expect Nya are about the whole Jay situation in dr s2 p2? Like, I get the whole tournament situation is important and they can’t just bail, but no one even really seemed to care at all. Cole is Jay’s best friend and he barely had anything to say about it all and hardly seemed concerned about Jay literally shattering the good in his soul and leaving so they’ll have no idea where to find him again.

That all just really didn’t sit right with me.
