Summer shifted with a gust of wind, dragging with it the soft chill of the Scottish coast. The leaves turned from emerald to amber, marking the start of your final year at Hogwarts.
Gryffindor had instilled a sense of courage in you, one that you often left at home when returning to the brooding towers that form your school. So, with the brewing feeling of newfound bravery in your heart, you approached the Gryffindor common room with the mentality that this will be your year.
The crowded floor of the comforting common room was painted with school shoes and flashes of red as your fellow house members danced in a flurry of reunions and affections. Yeah…this will be your year. Once you figure out how to socialise without cringing from embarrassment.
You shifted past the cliques and gangs, attempting to find your more resolved group of companions. Standing on the stairs by the girls’ dorms was the sight you were hoping for.
“Charlie! Hope!” You called, striding over to your much loved roommates.
“I’m surprised you survived the stampede down there, come to safety!” Charlie joked with open arms, guiding you into a warm embrace.
“Seems like the summer didn’t do much for the maturity in this house…” Hope muttered into your shoulder as she joined the reunion, glancing at the chaos ensuing behind you.
Charlie and Hope were your personal lifelines, a combination of wits and humility that allowed you to embrace the more tentative side of yourself. You first bonded over your shock discoveries as Gryffindors, as opposed to your predicted places in Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff. While none of you were sure of why or how you found yourselves in the house of courage and bravery - or as you often called it, the pit of egos and self-righteousness - you certainly found a home between the pair, never stepping outside the social boundaries of your timid trio.
You marched towards the comfort of your dorm, arms linked with your companions and back turned to a pair of unacknowledged, watchful eyes, shaded by rounded glasses.

James often found hellos to be even harder than goodbyes, a swelling of tears and joy erupting from the boy’s face the second he laid his golden eyes on his mischievous friends. Sirius, Remus and Peter lined the couch territorially, leaving space in the middle for one James Potter to jump into in excited greeting.
“Prongs! We thought you’d never show!” Exclaimed Sirius in a lighthearted tone, smirking at the boy’s glowing grin. “Glad to see us, then?”
“Oh Pads, you know I’d never miss a single day with you by my side if I had the choice!” James met his friend’s playful tone, though his genuine affection shone through the string of words he praised. He found comfort against the back of the couch, bursting into a ramble of “how are you?”, “I missed you” and “what did you do over the summer?” which the other Marauders dutifully answered with similar excitement.
James was busy engaging with Sirius’ vengeful tale of redeeming himself through a series of pranks planned for the coming school year when he found himself glancing towards a familiar figure above the crowd. Your hair reflected the light of the room, almost as if an angel’s halo surrounded your head. Your face, lit up with familiarity at your friends’ embrace, caused a physical reaction from the boy as his lips parted. Had you gotten even more hauntingly beautiful since the last year? James didn’t think it was possib-
“Pro-ongs, I think it’s about time you made a move on that lovely little bird, don’t you?” Sirius sang, inching closer to the captivated face of his friend. A light dusting of peachy blush turned dark on his cheeks under the sudden attention. “I- what? W-who?” James laughed, though he knew full well that his friends had caught onto his not-so-little crush years ago.
“I mean, if she’s so distracting that you can’t even focus on one of the most engaging plots for revenge ever crafted by the master of mischief,” Sirius gestured to himself, “then I don’t see why you shouldn’t try for an actual conversation with her. Moony here was just agreeing with me before you arrived, weren’t you, sweet stuff?”
Sirius turned to the boy sitting on the other side of the young Potter as Remus nodded in reserved agreement. “I know you think she’d never go for a boy like you, James, but Sirius has a point.” Remus advised. James considered his friends’ logical conclusions, realising he should probably come to the same.
There’s not long left, Potter, he told himself. We’ll graduate and the only person you’ve ever really felt something for will be out of your grasp forever. It’s now or never. “Ok…ok, I’ll do it. This will be the year. This will be my year.” James responded, eyes still lingering on you as you walked towards your dorm, slowly shrinking in his line of sight. His friends cheered in satisfied agreement. This will be his year. The year he shares with you.

Unpacked trunks and flittering gossip filled your dorm room walls as you giggled with your loyal friends. “So…any chance one of you might pursue a love life for once?” Hope teased, despite her own lack of romantic involvement. Charlie let out a scoff, grinning her lopsided grin at Hope’s curiosity. “Certainly not in this house, but there might be a few lucky souls in the others who could try to keep up with me.” She laughed with you and Hope, basking in the joy that only you three could harvest from one another.
“Any boys catch your eye? Oh! Maybe any girls?” Hope turned the question to you as you hid a laugh behind your hand. “Some of these kids might as well just date themselves at this point! I mean, how can you love yourself that much and leave any room to love someone else?” You cried, exasperation shaping your tone. “Are we talking about who I think we’re talking ab-“ “OH you mean the Marauders!?” Charlie exclaimed, interrupting Hope’s more subtle approach to the subject.
“Of course I’m talking about those good for nothing clowns,” You responded, “They’re too preoccupied with themselves to even notice anyone else! On the last week of the last year, Sirius managed to shove me into a wall in the hallway without blinking an eye. He was too caught up in his own reflection in the polished floor to notice! Remus and Peter turn a blind eye to all the mischief their friends cause, and only if they themselves aren’t involved. And that boy, James Potter…” You continue your ranting, “it’s like there’s no thoughts behind that smug face of his! He bumped into me as we both attempted to exit through a classroom door at the same time, pushing my books out of my arms and onto the floor. I looked at him expectedly for some sort of sign to show he was apologetic, but he just stood and stared at me wide-eyed! That is, before he scurried away as if he was suddenly half his own size, looking like a rodent in an athlete’s body!”
Charlie and Hope shared a knowing look when you commented on the last Marauder’s appearance, communicating a silent assumption that you weren’t quite as annoyed with the head boy as you were confused. “I digress…” you concluded with a flushed expression. “If any boy in this house even attempts to approach me I should hope for his sake that he’s matured at a rate faster than the speed of light over the summer, otherwise he doesn’t stand a-“
Pshhh.
All eyes in the room turn towards the door. A light blue envelope with dark ink scribbled on the front sat patiently at the base of the door, having just been pushed below from a mysterious source on the other side.
“…chance.” You finished, curiosity propelling your trio towards the unfamiliar object. Labeled on the front, communicating with newfound clarity now that you had closed the distance between yourself and the letter, was a boyish, unpolished mark of your name. Quiet settled on the three of you for a moment. “OH. MY. GOD!” Charlie exclaimed, snatching the paper from the floor and sprinting towards your bed. “Hey, wait for me! I want to read it too!” Hope pursued your friend. Lastly, you rose from your position on the floor and slowly approached the bed as your friends eagerly ripped open the letter.

A/N: Thank you for reading! I intend on expanding this into a pretty fluffy series with James trying to win reader over ;) sorry for the slow chapter, it will get more eventful in future updates now that the context is established. Part 2 is up! Comment to be added to the taglist <3

shower shenanigans
platonic ! slytherins x reader
just a silly little story that came to mind, based off of an episode of Friends lol
Theodore Nott was currently on his way up to the girls' dorm. The girls in question were some of his best friends: Pansy Parkinson, Astoria Greengrass, and Y/N Y/L/N, along with Draco Malfoy, Blaise Zabini, Mattheo Riddle, and Lorenzo Berkshire, of course.
During his latest charms lesson, he had been absolutely whiffed, far too high to be able to take notes, of course, and was counting on stealing Astoria's to be able to complete his assignment.
Huffing when he discovered none of the girls were to be found in the dorm, he made his way to Astoria's side to begin his search, only to be interrupted by the bathroom door swinging open. Pansy had just finished showering and was currently drying off the last of her hair with a towel wrapped around her waist when she caught sight of Theo standing in her room. Both letting out a surprised scream, Pansy tried to cover her exposed upper half with a blanket that sat on the edge of Y/N's bed.
'I'm sorry! I'm sor-'
'That is it!' She hissed at the boy. 'You just barge in here all of the time; you don't knock-'
'I'm sorry, Pans!'
'You don't have any respect for anybody's privacy-'
'Pansy, wait-' 'No, you wait! This is ridiculous-'
'Can I just say one thing?!'
'Oh- what?! What?!'
'That's a relatively open weave, and I can still see your... nippluar area.' Pansy groaned in frustration as she spun to grab her wand, pointing it at the boy standing before her as she still held the blanket over her chest.
'Get out before I avada your ass, Nott!' Theo fled from the dorm, charms notes long forgotten, as he silently thanked Salazar for blessing him this fine Friday afternoon.
Tumblr media
Pansy sat fuming on the couch in the Slytherin common room that evening, silently glaring daggers at Theo, who sat across from her, while Enzo, Draco, and Astoria looked at each other in confusion. As the rest of the gang filtered in and joined them around the fire, the conversation died out, and Theo spoke.
'Anyone up for a firewhiskey then?' Before anyone had the time to comprehend what he had asked, Pansy had crossed her arms and hissed out a sharp 'No.'
'Alright, have I missed something here?' Y/N asked, her eyes darting between the other occupants of the group, looking for answers. Enzo snickered in response, while Theo just sighed.
'No, she's still upset because I saw her boobies..' At this, Mattheo barked a laugh as Y/N gasped, Astoria's eyes widening too. Theo's response had Blaise furrowing his eyebrows.
'W-what? What were you doing seeing her boobies?' He asked.
'It was an accident! It's not as though I was peeping through the keyhole of the girls dorm!' Astoria pulled a face at the thought of this.
'Alright-'
'Can we just change the subject, please?' Pansy huffed, throwing her head back onto the couch.
'You know, I don't know why you're so embarrassed! They were very nice!' Theo interjected, causing Pansy to scoff at him.
'Nice? They were nice? I mean, that's it? Mittens are nice!'
'Alright, they were-'
'Okay, how about we direct the conversation away from Pansy's boobs?' Draco clapped.
'I'll get the firewhiskey!' Mattheo grinned, shooting up from his seat and returning shortly with a few bottles of firewhiskey.
The evening continued as a regular Friday would, laughing and joking with each other, telling stories of what had happened throughout the week when they hadn't seen each other—you know, the usual stuff.
The conversation soon turned to quidditch; Y/N and Astoria shared a look, knowing what was about to come. The rest of the group were so into quidditch, and of course they supported the boys whenever they had a match, but honestly, they could not care less about the sport. Even Pansy was an avid supporter, hence her current rant about the Hufflepuff seeker as she paced around the room.
'And I mean, why does he have to be so arrogant about it? Like, why-' Pansy looked over to Theo, only to notice his eyes glued to her chest as she spoke. Her eyes narrowed at the boy. 'Why can't you stop staring at my breasts?'
Theo blinked as his eyes darted up to hers, only to see she was already glaring at him. 'What?'
'Ugh, did you not get a good enough look before?!' She moaned. Blaise interjected, waving a hand between them.
'Alright, alright. We're all adults here; there's only one way to resolve this.' Theo looked almost bored with Blaise as he tried to find a solution, Pansy merely quirked a brow as she crossed her arms. 'Since you saw her boobies, I think you're going to have to show her your pee-pee.'
At this, the rest of the gang sat forward, intrigued. Enzo nodded along as though it were the most sane thing he had ever heard, while Astoria almost spat out her drink from laughter.
Theo grimaced. 'You know, I don't see that happening.'
'Come on, Theo, he's right! Tit for tat,' Y/N's input had Draco snorting as Mattheo's eyes darted between Theo and Pansy. Pansy grinned, looking down at the boy who still occupied the couch.
'Well, I am not showing you my tat.' Theo rolled his eyes as he took a swig of his firewhiskey and started up another conversation with Enzo.
Pansy would get him back; she was sure of it.
Tumblr media
The next afternoon, the girls patiently waited for the boys to meet them in the common room. They had planned to head into Hogsmeade for some shopping and lunch, but they had to wait for the boys to shower first after their morning quidditch practice. Only Draco had emerged from the dorms so far, and he was happily chatting with Astoria as Y/N read a book on the armchair.
Pansy caught Blaise's eye as he made his way down the stairs, finally ready. 'Honestly, what is taking you all so long?' She had asked, causing him to laugh.
'It's Enzo! He takes showers so long, I'm surprised there is any water left in Scotland! Theo's only just getting a turn,' Pansy's brow lifted in intrigue.
'How long has Theo been in the shower, would you say, Blaise?'
'About five minutes?'
It was exactly the answer Pansy wanted. Smirking, she stood from her place on the couch and winked at Y/N.
'Fasten your seatbelts, kids; it's pee-pee time.'
Opening the door to the boy's dorm, she greeted Enzo as he stood in front of the mirror, fixing his hair.
'Hey Pans,' He responded distractedly. It wasn't uncommon to see any of the girls in the boys dorm or vice versa, so he didn't think much of it as she crossed his room to the bathroom door.
'Payback time,' She muttered to herself as she quietly opened the door. Seeing the shower curtain pulled across and a tall shadow behind it, she grinned again. Rapidly pulling back the curtain, her 'Ha!' quickly turned into a scream as the figure in the shower jumped.
'What the fuck?'
'Oh my God!' She screeched as she ran out of the bathroom and slammed the door behind her.
'What? What's wrong?' Enzo turned to her, panicking. The bathroom door swung open as Mattheo, still soaking wet but now with a towel around his waist, stormed out with a seething look on his face.
'What the fuck is the matter with you?!'
'I thought it was Theo!'
'What - what, what's happened?' Theo ran into the room with his wand out as Pansy whirled on him, pointing an accusatory finger.
'You! You were supposed to be in there, so I could see your thing!' She fumed. Enzo's brows shot up as he stiffled a laugh, Mattheo shot him a death glare before turning back to the scene in front of him.
'Sorry. My-my thing was out there with me,' He lowered his wand and gestured to the hallway behind him, a grin crossing his face as Pansy growled and shouldered past him out the door. As she made her way down the stairs with clenched fists, Y/N looked up from her book.
'Pans?'
'That fucking idiot..'
'What's wrong?' Y/N asked again.
'Oh my God,' Astoria gasped. 'You didn't catch Theo, did you?'
Shaking her head, Pansy sat with a huff. It's safe to say the trip to Hogsmeade was filled with clenched jaws and glares from Mattheo to Pansy, and Pansy to Theo, while the rest of the gang laughed at their misfortune.
Tumblr media
Later that evening, Astoria lay on her bed reading a new novel bought for her earlier in the day by Draco when the door to her room suddenly opened and in stalked Mattheo.
'Hey Riddle,' He nodded in response as he made his way over to the girls' bathroom door. Astoria quirked a brow and grinned slightly. 'Whatcha doing?' She already knew the answer.
'Clear the tracks for the payback express. Next stop; Pansy Parkinson.' He grinned, whipping the door open and walking into the steamy room.
'Surpri- holy shit!' His surprise attack was cut short as he pulled the curtain back, only to reveal Y/N in the shower instead of Pansy.
'Mattheo, what the fuck?!' His eyes widened as he turned away from the very naked girl in the shower.
'Shit, sorry - I was trying to catch Pansy out!' Y/N pulled the shower curtain across again and hid behind it.
'Wrong fucking girl!'
'I know, I know—I'm sorry!'
'Matt?' She asked after a minute of silence.
'Yeah?'
'Get out!'
'Right, right-' As Mattheo sped out of the room, he grimaced at Astoria, who lay still smirking as she read her book.
That evening, at dinner, Y/N stabbed her food with force as she glared at the boy opposite her.
'Right, what's happened here then?' Draco asked, his eyes flying between the two.
'Mattheo barged in on me in the shower!' She hissed, causing her friends to burst into laughter as she was now caught in the shower chronicles.
'I told you, it was an accident!'
'You got a lot more than you bargained for!' She gripped her fork tightly in her hand as Mattheo smirked.
'Yeah I did, I got a great view,' He said with a smirk, which quickly disappeared after seeing Y/N's face.
'Look, I'm sorry!' He apologised once more as she sighed and began a conversation with Enzo.
Tumblr media
The next morning, Y/N stomped into the boys dorm, still clad in her pyjamas. Theo groaned from his place in bed.
'Y/N, it is 8 a.m... on a Sunday.'
'Oh hush, you caused this whole thing, Nott.'
Storming over to the bathroom, she flung the door open just as Enzo was stepping out of the shower. She smacked a hand over her mouth as she squeaked.
'Y/N?!'
'I'm sorry, I'm sorry!' She turned on her heel and slammed the door, Theo's laughter echoed in the room.
'Where is Mattheo?!' She demanded.
'Fuck knows,' He responded, propping himself on his elbows.
'He is on a run, you little menace!' Enzo appeared behind her, a towel around his waist as he crossed his arms. She gave him a sheepish smile.
'Sorry, Enz, I just wanted to get him back!'
'This has gone way too far now,' He said as Mattheo entered the room and took in the scene before him. A cackle left his mouth as he put the pieces together.
'I'll get you back, Riddle.' Y/N jabbed a finger into his chest as she passed him by.
That morning at breakfast, the table ate in silence. Enzo huffed. 'That's it; no more shower shenanigans! We're all terrified to shower now, in case someone comes barging in.'
Pansy rolled her eyes, moving her pancakes with her fork. 'This is all Nott's fault.'
'Hey!'
'Well, it is, Theo-'
'No one asked you to get involved, Y/L/N-'
'I had to because Matt-'
'Hey, mine was an accid-'
'Enough!' Blaise's voice boomed across the table, silencing the bickering amongst the group.
'Theodore, apologise to Pansy.' Astoria instructed.
Theo muttered a quiet. 'Sorry Pans.'
'Pansy, apologise to Mattheo.' Blaise told her.
'Sorry, Matt.' She said with a sheepish smile.
'Riddle, apologise to Y/N.'
Mattheo did as Draco told him. 'I'm sorry, Y/N.'
'Y/N, apologise to Lorenzo.'
'Sorry, Enz.' She gave his shoulder a small nudge with hers.
'Right, now that's all sorted...' Y/N looked up at the girl beside her with her brow raised. 'Well?'
Draco furrowed his brows as the girl before him stared at his girlfriend. 'Well, what?'
'Aren't you three going to apologise for taking the piss out of us?' Draco, Blaise, and Astoria all shared a glance before murmuring their own apology.
The group all shared a knowing look before bursting into laughter. They could never be mad at each other for long.

Getting Together
main masterlist
regulus black x potter!reader universe
word count: 1.4 k
note: been sitting on this for a while lol
takes place during the marauders 6th year and Reg's 5th
Tumblr media
Sat criss-cross on the bathroom counter, Y/n held her hair out of her face in a make/shift ponytail while she finished her eyeliner, Sirius was sat on the toilet lid while he waited for his turn with the girl’s eyeliner.
The gang™ was getting ready for a Hufflepuff party, they may be kind and hard-working students but damn that house could party.
“I probably won’t stay long, I've got a tummy ache.” “Well, I’m sure Remus would be willing to come back here with you.” – “What about Remus?” James said, walking into their shared bathroom to brush his teeth before the party (planning to kiss Lily, though he will most likely fail once again)
“Nothing.” Y/n said casually before going back to her eyeliner, hitting her brother’s hand out of the way of opening their mirror cabinet.
James asks, with his mouth full of toothpaste and his toothbrush hanging out of his mouth, “Are we balding?”
“‘We’?” She looked at him through the mirror and planned to tell him how thick-headed he sounded, but got distracted by her small bald spot. “Wait- do you’ve the same?” “Yeah,-” “I think it’s just our hairlines.” “You think?”
Sirius may have a brother but, much to his own dismay, never had that sibling dynamic with Regulus, they loved each other but due to their upbringing they showed their love quietly. So he always found James and Y/n’s back and forth moments as foreign as the rest of the boys did since neither Peter or Remus had siblings.
-
The group of five entered the Hufflepuff common room, James immediately went to the drinks, dragging Remus with him, while Sirius dragged Peter and the girl with him to the dance floor. The two others eventually brought the rest their own cups, Y/n danced but it felt like whenever she looked up she noticed her newest roommate.
This past summer break Sirius and Regulus run away and have since been living at the Potter’s, which both twins were relieved about, they knew about the Blacks.
Regulus was nursing his drink while leaning against the fireplace, his long fingers wrapped around the cup, mumbling some sarcastic comment to Barty, until they linked eyes through the room full of wasted students. Though it felt like it broke as fast as it formed when Sirius tapped her on the shoulder and informed her of the girl Peter was about to ask to dance, pushing him aside she began to fix Peter’s hair by brushing pieces out of his face and flattening his shirt.
“Go get ‘er, Pete!” “Okay.” She laughed at his awkwardness. Peter could always make her laugh, though that could be said about all the boys, Peter had the type of humour that even he himself didn’t know when he was being funny and the biggest laughs came when he wasn’t trying.
Overall the party went well, Sirius didn’t leave too long after that interaction, Remus going with him for whatever fake reason he gave this time, Pete ending up leaving with that girl, and James after not winning over Evans yet again, went back to the dorm no doubt unknowingly interrupting a moment between Sirius and Remus.
But Y/n couldn’t bring herself to go back to the dorm just yet, she liked the fresh air and the time away from the boys. It was when she went farther down a trail for a smoke that she saw the black-headed boy she’s grown to know well after the summer.
“Hey, Reg.” “Hello.”
Regulus was just getting comfortable around her when school came around again, one of the many reasons it took so long to be comfortable around the older girl was since he could remember he had liked her. The summer after Sitius’ first year he showed Reg some pictures of his new friends, and the second he saw Y/n he was gone.
The girl walked closer to the bench Regulus was sitting on and sat herself next to him, neither’s eyes leaving their view of the black lake for more than a couple seconds.
“My brother and your friends just abandoned you?” “Sirius went back to the dorm, had a stomach bug and Renus went with him an-” “Those two finally?” “How’d you know about that?” “Sirius is my brother and I know him rather well.” “I guess you do… Want-?” She gestured for him to grab her cigarette, he shook his head ‘no’ which was an uncommon answer around here, but it sorta made sense that Regulus wouldn’t, she supposes he’s proper that way.
“So what about your friends?” “Pandora doesn’t really do parties, and I’m sure Barty and Evan are off somewhere.” “Well I’m glad we both got abandoned.” She looked up to face the crescent moon, not thinking too hard about how Regulus would interpret her words. She liked when he did. All summer she had made comments like that one, she enjoyed the blush that would rise to the tips of his ears.
“Why’s that?” “I like being with you.” The boy’s head shoots up from it staring at the grass beneath their feet to look at her beside him.
“Y-you do?” “Yeah!...” Her pause made Regulus assure that he read that ‘being with you’ thing wrong, because of course she wouldn’t date him; she’s a year older, the most gorgeous girl he’s ever seen, as well as the nicest. But in actuality, Y/n has been trying to hint that she likes Regulus since the beginning of the summer. Yet the boy was most oblivious to people truly caring about him, he didn’t believe it possible; that only made her want to show him even more.
“Reg, I really like being with you..” She said, expectantly, enunciating every word to get it through his self-loathing skull. It was when she raised her eyebrows at him that it hit him, he was not imagining it. Not at all.
“Really? Me?” “Yes.” “Oh… I did not expect that.” Whether it was meant to be said out loud or not, it made Y/n laugh so Regulus was thankful he did, he liked her laugh. Still unmoving, Y/n makes the first move yet again.
She grabbed the end of his Slytherin tie, twirling it between her finger tips before grabbing it in a fist to pull the younger boy in. Her lips covered his own, gently they moved together, her hand went to his and placed them on her waist and then hers went to the side of his neck, all while holding her cigarette in the other. The taste of said cigarette lingered in her mouth adding to the addicting taste of her and her almost gone strawberry lip gloss.
Finally pulling back, both slightly out of breath, they took a moment to gather themselves. The Potter girl took a final drag before putting it out with her heel.
“I gotta get going, Reg.” “Oh-” “If you're free after classes tomorrow I’d love to meet back here.. We could talk, or just be with each other.” “Yeah. I would really like that.” “Good. Okay, I’ve really got to go though, James gets worried when any of us stay out too late.”
She waited a second before turning on her heels to begin her walk, though the sound of footsteps stopped her in her tracks and Regulus came up next to her, “As you mentioned it’s late, it would be the gentlemanly thing to do to walk you to your common room.” “Well gee, what a gentleman I’ve got on my hands.”
Their conversation flowed as they walked the long walk to Gryffindor Tower. And though they got plenty of time together Y/n couldn't help the slight disappointment when they arrived at the portrait hole.
“This is my stop.” “Yes.” “I don’t feel very gentlemanly now that you have to walk all the way to the dungeons now, why don’t I walk you?” “Then I would walk you back here and we would be in a terrible loop.” “The loops not so terrible if I’m spending the whole time with you.”
If another student were to hear their conversation, see the love stricken grin on the girl's face, and the red face of Regulus they would most likely throw up from the sheer cheesy-ness. And to make matters for the state of the blush on his face worse, Y/n placed a soft peck on Regulus’ lips one last time.
“Now get outta her, I’m not allowed to let other houses hear the password, especially not snakes like yourself.” That sentence from just about any other Gryffindor would have offended him, but everything Y/n said felt like it came from a good place.
“Okay. Goodnight.” “Night, Reg.” She laughed out, due to his seriousness. She then held on to her word and didn’t say the password until he was out of ear shot, watching him as he left.

The emeralds are definitely the group that everyone fearfully avoids as much as possible
And not because they're popular or violent, they're just weird to the point of it being unsettling to anyone who knows them. They're just sort of scary and it's not because they try to be, they just are. They're so used to each other that they don't even realise.
People won't think twice about them at first because they're just like any other random friend group but the second you've sat and actually paid attention to them you're avoiding them like the plague. They don't typically have many other close friends outside of their group because people are too wary of them so they've sort of become one group so close-knit that seem to be on the same brainlength permanently.
Like you've got-
Dorcas: who can modify almost any spell to be ten times as powerful as usual. She won't use them against people but she'll make her talent known by practicing and performing spells with her friends where others can see. To her she's just practicing her skill and to her friends it's just 'normal cassie' but it scares the shit out of most people who see it. Even teachers are startled at her skill and power levels. She is also fiercely protective of her group and her younger sister. Not that anyone would dare try anything after seeing how strong her channeling of magic is. She has all the potential to be a popular girl but everyone's fear of her power and her loyalty to her existing friends hold her back from that.
Barty: who is so much of a genius he could outsmart the minister if he wanted. He's clever and a little intimidating but also really good at hiding information about himself. Ask ten different people what he's like and you'll get ten different answers. Nobody ever knows what he's really thinking except apparently his own group. He has ways of having an hour long conversation and extracting your entire life story while sharing nothing in return. He'll sometimes get a small glint in his eye that only his friends seem to understand as a strange mix between inspiration and anger. To an outsider it just looks strange.
Evan: has on multiple occasions set people's essays on fire for talking shit about his friends and always gets away with it through the word of one of his groups. He managed to get an in with snape's gang, the popular Ravenclaws in the year below and the entire Hufflepuff quidditch team. Everyone knows he doesn't actually like any of them- he only truly likes his main group (the emeralds)- but nobody can figure out why he likes to float around and watch others. In reality he just likes knowing how people's minds and dynamics work. Getting people to defend him if he faces trouble is just a bonus
Regulus: he is the confusing one. He's quiet and isn't easily noticed if you aren't paying close attention. But he's smart. Not Barty's level of academic genius, he's a very logical person. He can be given one small piece of information and do almost anything with it, draw any conclusion. He can seemingly communicate a train of thought with his friends just by looking at them to the point where there are rumours of him being a legilimens. He gives the feeling of knowing more than he lets on. To his friends, despite his quietness he is warm and sensitive but where they get that impression from is anybody's guess.
Pandora: who's just on such another level of morbid that people will be scared to whisper about her behind her back incase she or one of the other's hear them. She carries small, probably haunted porcelain dolls with her at all times, which are apparently gifts to her from some of the forest-folk during one of her many visits to the forbidden forest. She is also known to dabble in necromancy, particularly regarding animals. She meddles a lot with whatever niche types of magic she can find with little guidance, which many find scary. She's very empathetic but her curiosity in the morbid only scares people off. She's usually kind to anybody she comes across but that won't stop them from being wary and staying away.
And in their heads they're just another normal group who hang out a lot, understand each other, are liked by the teachers, and help new first years when they get lost. But to the rest of the people in their year as well as the year above and below, they're insane.

I heard a rumor….
from Inez

MASTERLIST
Remus Lupin x Fem!Reader
G: Fluff, jealous, irritable and oblivious Remus.
Warnings: NOT proofread, smoking, written late at night from an insomniac writer.
The dark winter sky was the only visible thing from the gryffindor common room, as the cold chased everybody inside, four best friends sprawled across cushions in front of the fireplace , trying desperately to get homework done, at least Remus was, his friends way to gossipy to get anything done, he has had enough of his friends fooling around, it seemed as if the world was ganging up on him, his friends were being annoying, homework was harder than ever, the full moon’s tomorrow, and you were out with some boy, at least that what was heard from some hufflepuff girl called Inez.
Huffing and groaning he got up, “What’s wrong, moons? Don’t you like that your girl may be snogging another boy?” Sirius laughs while mockingly pouting, James laughs, too loudly for Remus’s liking, still gathering his things “What’s wrong, pads? Can’t find anyone who likes you for more than just shagging?” Remus’s venomous tone surprised him even, James didn’t laugh, they just sat in awkward silence, it wasn’t strange for Remus to become more irritable as the full moon was incoming, that was somewhat understandable, they’re friends, they’ll put up with him and his attitude, but something else set him up this time, so they just let him leave.
Good, he needed to take a breather.
As Remus furiously left the common room, his mind was running, between his classes and his overbearing hidden need to overachieve, the way the full moon’s closing in, how his condition will always outrun him, the way his friends one day will get fed up with him, he’s too much anyways, his breath was staggering, he needed air, he needed to get out, but no matter where he’ll go, he knows he’s a liability.
The astronomy tower seemed like the perfect place for him to settle down, he walked in only to find out someone beat him to it, you were there, his heart did a flip and threatened with jumping out his mouth.
as he was about to leave you alone, you looked up, eyes meeting, Remus felt like fainting, all his emotional buildup was still persistent, but butterflies swarmed his stomach, “hi, Rem” “hi, y/n” “what’re you doing up here?” you asked eyes filled with curiosity, “Could ask you the same” he felt comfortable enough to sit down next to you, “I asked you first” fair enough. “Just needed a little bit of air, take a walk, this is the closest that I can get to the outside without freezing” he found himself letting out a long breath, “tough day?” “tough week, tough year, tough life apparently” she laughed, Merlin, her laugh, the ways her face looks when she does, absolutely beautiful, breathtaking.
they sat in comfortable silence, looking at the stars, hands nearly touching but neither of them was brave enough, Remus cleared his throat ready to break the silence “I heard you were going out with a Ravenclaw boy” he couldn’t help sounding bitter, “mmm, really? Who did you hear it from?” hope “Inez, well, Sirius, but he heard it from her in herbology, so it was just a rumor?” “Inez is so noisy, kind, but so annoying sometimes” she kept quiet, Remus didn’t push her to speak, “well, yeah, a ravenclaw boy sent me a note asking me out in charms, I said yes to not embarrass him in front of his friends, but afterwards I told him I couldn’t go out with him” a blush crept into her cheeks as she talked, Remus sweared that every time he looked at her he fell even harder, “why did you tell him you couldn’t?” Remus felt nosier than Inez and his friends, but he needed to know, “well…” she went shy all of a sudden, sigh “well ‘cause I like someone else, like a lot and I felt bad playing with his feelings”
Remus felt like throwing up, she likes another boy, all hopes are dead, as dead as he wishes he was, “you ok?” her sweet voice was music to his ear, “yeah, ‘m fine” “are you sure” “yeah, well, I should go, the guys are probably wondering where I am” bullshit, he needed to scream, to punch someone hopefully the guy she likes, as he was getting up she grabbed his hand, “please stay a little longer” she asked with teary eyes, “love, what’s wrong?” the pet name rolling of his tongue like a promise, “nothing just, I don’t want to be alone, but I don’t want to talk either, just… sit there, with me” her big eyes following her mouth pleading for him to stay and who was he to say no. He nodded sitting back down, putting his hand in her back, rubbing as she sobbed.
“It’s just, the boy I like” sob “probably doesn’t like me back” she takes a breath “ I like him a lot and he barely pays attention to me, always running out of a room when I enter” she was describing the dumbest guy Remus would ever know, “it’s ok, doll, he’s dumb, you’re the best that there is, a lot of boys are dying to be with you” me, I’m here, I want to be with you, I love you. that’s all he wanted to say, but she’s down and sad, he wouldn’t take advantage, and he doesn’t know why his words make her cry harder, “I’m sorry, I don’t know what I did wrong” with her head in her hands she mumbled something incoherent, “what?” she gets up suddenly, “sorry, that was dumb, sorry for bothering you, rem, you’re a good guy, sorry again” she ran out so fast Remus could barely hear her last words.
Full of worry he went back to his common room, decided to not do his homework, he’ll blame it in the full moon, and as he laid down in his bed all he could think of was you, and breaking the nose of the guy that made you cry that way.
Laying in your bed the events of today replaying in your head, what else could’ve went wrong?
A nice guy asked you out, that’s great if you weren’t stupidly in love with your friend Remus Lupin, you got shy in front of his friends awaiting for your answer, so you said yes forgetting the fact that rumors travel fast at Hogwarts, especially with the noisy duo on Sirius and Inez.
All your friends went crazy, asking if you were finally over your silly crush, if you were really going out with another boy, wondering when and what’ll happen or what you’ll wear, you tried to tell them that in the end you turned him down, but to no avail, they wouldn’t listen, so like outside was freezing, you figured that the astronomy tower was the safest option of a santuary, before you could cry your eyes out, to add insult to injury, Remus Lupin seemed to think the same thoughts as you.
Everything would’ve been better if you had stuck to your comfortable silence, but nooo, he had to ask questions, how can he be so oblivious, that he was the guy, that you like him, you’ve kept sending him signals since two years ago during third year, and every time you try to stop and get over him, he sends a small signal that maybe, hopefully, he feels the same, some hidden glances, small touches, meaningful smiles, all of this could be part of your friendship, but there’s something about them, just something that gives your heart hope, or maybe you’re delusional.
You ended up falling asleep on you wet pillow with tear stained cheeks.
03:17 AM
y/n woke up, she needed a air, she needed Remus, she needed sleep, she needed a smoke.
She settled for the cigarette solution, but she couldn’t open a window in her room without waking her roommates up. Walking down the stairs of the girls rooms to the common room she saw that a particular sandy haired boy has had again her same thoughts, but alas, this time he beat her to do it.
Blowing the cigarette smoke out the window Remus spotted her, with messy hair, mismatched socks, plaid red pants, a t shirt four times her size that looked like it belonged to a granpa, and looking as beautiful and gorgeous as ever, “hey, are you feeling better?” Rem whispered, scared someone could hear and ruin their peace, “hi, yes, I’m a bit better now, care to share? Just want a bit not the whole thing” ignoring the urge to run away, she decided that enough was enough, so what if he didn’t like her, he’s her friend, she’s not going to throw it out of the window because of her ego. “Yeah, sure,” Remus extended his arm to pass her the cig, hypnotized as she put it between her perfect lips took a drag, inhaled, watching her whole face take it in, eyes closed, eyebrows slightly furrowed, just the perfect sight, he also noticed her puffy red eyes and swollen lips, also the tip of her nose was a bit red, she’s been crying.
Smoking in silence, but compared to before, it was a bit awkward, “the guy, the one you like, who’s he?” She sighed “why do you want to know, Rem?” “To beat them up, I can tell you’ve been crying all night, that’s no good” y/n was getting fed up “are you really that oblivious, Remus Lupin?” wow first and last name, Remus knew she was mad, why? he had no idea, “what? What’s wrong?” she looked at him and god, how can he look so handsome and pretty and cute while being the biggest idiot known to mankind, “what’s wrong is that I can’t tell you the truth, it’s embarrassing” now he was even more confused “what? Wait you can tell me, you know I’ll never judge you” she put out the cigarette and looked at him then took a deep breath, “ well, the guy that I like, he’s my friend and I like him since forever, but since third year I’ve started sending him signals, like the I like you signals, but either he doesn’t like me like that or he’s very oblivious” Remus’s heart broke even more if that’s possible, maybe you liked James or Frank or Sirius that’d make everything worse, as she saw the gears working in his mind, she knew he wouldn’t get it “you know what’s worse” “what, love” the love made her want to tear her neck out, “he’s the smartest person I know, but when it comes to this, he apparently can’t put two an two together”
Remus’s mind was working harder than ever, which one of his friends was smart? “Oh” realization hit him, butterflies swarmed his stomach, was he dreaming, was she talking about him, “oh, indeed, I’m talking about you, Remus, all these years it’s been you”.
Remus Lupin fell to his knees.
“Are you serious, you like me?” “Don’t be mean, Rem, please don’t laugh at me.” “ love, I’m not laughing” he wasn’t but he was smiling like a fool, she was about to cry again, here she was confessing to him, and there he was laughing, “I’ve loved you ever since I saw you on the train, at the start of second year, with your braids and your cat, I love you now and I’ll love you forever” she was frozen, all this time he felt the same, she was grinning like an idiot now, falling in front of him bringing her hands to his cheeks caressing them. “Please, can I kiss you, doll?” “Remus, you can kiss me whenever and wherever you want”, his eyes were full of adoration as he leaned in, her hands on the back of his neck creeping up his hair, his hands sneaked into her waist grabbing firmly, he sat down pulling her into his lap, searching for more closeness.
“We’re idiots” she breathed breaking their kiss, “yeah, but we’re idiots in love” he said making their noses touch, once he had her he couldn’t get enough of her, and couldn’t stop kissing her, not that she complained, she felt like heaven was brought upon her when he kissed her, “I kiss can’t kiss believe kiss that kiss we kiss took kiss this kiss much kiss time kiss” “why don’t we take this to the couch, it’ll be more comfy” she said while kissing his neck, “.or we could go to my dorm, the guys are asleep, we can make out all night” all she had to do was nod to be picked up and brought to Remus’s bed.
James, Peter and especially Sirius had a great time in the morning when they found you in the same bed, by lunch Sirius and Inez had already made sure that all that was talked about was yours and Remus’s relationship and you couldn’t be happier to be finally together.

YANDERE HARRY POTTER X HUFFLEPUFF READER
Tumblr media
You weren't one to fall for the 'Chosen one' like everyone else. You were a simple person who kept to yourself, no wonder you were sorted into Hufflepuff. But despite your sweet and shy nature you weren't one to take shit from anyone, not even from the so called Slytherin prince Draco Malfoy and his gang of brainless oafs
You'd seen Harry Potter stare at you a couple of times but you didn't really think that much about it. What you soon noticed was that he started showing up everywhere like those moles from those whack a mole game thingies (Muggles you'll know what I'm referring to lol) and you started growing worried. Why was he always showing up everywhere you went? Yet you didn't tell anyone since they'd just call you crazy
But Harry had feelings for you. But those were much deeper and darker than the usual feelings of love people have for each other, he had an obsession, a sick and twisted one too for you. Oh, how his blood boiled whenever he'd see you smiling at someone ESPECIALLY DIGGORY of all people. He just hates it when you smile and talk to Cedric so much. Thank goodness he's dead during the Triwizard Tournament and Harry had to put on an act so he wouldn't appear like a heartless jerk. Maybe you'll fall in love with his sensitive side
His friends Ron and Hermione didn't really want to say anything even when they noticed that most of the time Harry would be using the Marauder's map to stalk you or look at you with a such a lovestruck look on his face like Cupid itself shot an arrow straight through his heart or gritting his teeth and gripping his knuckles so hard till they became white and refraining from hexing someone he didn't like for talking to you, even that git Malfoy too. When he started plotting ways to frame Malfoy for something that's when Hermione drew the line and came clean and told you all about Harry. She also asked you not to mention her name and you agreed
A few days later you received a letter from him asking you to meet him at the Three Broomsticks and your stomach churned with unpleasantness. What could he possibly want from you now? But nevertheless you decided to confront him about his unhealthy behavior and now was the perfect time to do so. You saw him at the Three Broomsticks where he'd ordered Butterbeers for the both of you. You took a sip of yours and didn't say anything yet, wondering what he wanted to tell you. When you heard his love confession pour out for you and he told you stuff like how you completed him ever since his parents were killed and grew up without a family and was neglected by the Dursleys, his relatives.... stuff to make you feel bad
Well it did work but you still ended up rejecting him gently and you ran away. Harry was miserable and furious but he couldn't blame you. He blamed his own stupidity for being too reckless. He should have first eliminated the people close to you THEN he should've offered you a shoulder to cry on. He started following it and you noticed it immediately. That's when you understood that you weren't safe at Hogwarts anymore as long as Harry was there and so you decided to leave for good to another country
Harry was even MORE furious and his heart ached for you. How could you do this to him? He loved you so much! He screamed, yelled, cried in private and heck, even Malfoy these days didn't really feel like messing with him anymore. He was irritated with every single thing, get annoyed at simple things and he vowed that when he'd become an Auror he was going to find you and make you his again for good even if meant he had to use force. But that wasn't really necessary since after the war with Voldemort was over, he needed to get his mind off things for a while and came back into the Muggle world. And that's when he strolled into a mall and saw you with boy around the age of 10 years and a girl who was 9 years old. You referred to them as your nephew and niece to the cashier after you purchased your items from the store you were in and Harry was relieved that you still weren't married yet
Your eye caught his and you attempted to scurry away, feeling uneasy. His heart broke to pieces again, his love was scared of him!? No... he was here now and fate was lucky to give him another chance. This was his chance to amend things and make it right with you. Your nephew and nieces could sense that you were feeling uneasy for some reason and they tried their best to drag you out of the place telling you that they were hungry and didn't really like the food there and they could eat somewhere outside. You were glad for that excuse and you made an attempt to bolt but Harry wasn't having it
He was now allowed to use magic, he was over 17 years old and he could use any type of magic as he pleased. He uttered a spell and the mall suddenly lost all forms of light. You clutched your nephew and niece fearfully telling them to be careful and stay near you. You didn't even have time to grab your wand properly from your pocket since within seconds, someone grabbed your arm, pulled you away from your little niece and nephew and they apparated with you to Merlin knows where. The last thing you remembered before losing consciousness was someone with glasses kissing your forehead gently and saying "Sleep well love, now we have all the time in the world to catch up~"

lorenzo berkshire x reader
short summary: enzo is kind to everyone but you.
slytherin gang was known for its violence and nonchalance, but there was one exceptional character. needles to say that every second girl and boy drooled over him and went on and on about how sweet he is. but you never felt that lorenzo berkshire could be kind or, god forbid, sweet.
he would curl his lip, roll his eyes, mock you in front of everyone - do virtually anything to piss you off. as he was flirting with a junior from hufflepuff, he saw you walking out of potions class from the corner of his eyes.
“nice sweater, y/l/n” he shouted from the behind. it wasn’t his voice, but what he said that shocked you. was he being nice? as you turned back to thank him, he continued “for someone who’s planning to retire. return this ugly piece of cloth to whatever cheap store you bought it from. go buy something decent for once, i can give you money if you ask nicely” girl near him chuckled as you tried to contain your tears.
“dickhead..” you mumbled underneath your breath
“what’d you say?” he was now towering over you. he didn’t like to be called names, but seeing you so broken over a small joke got him confuse. “hey, y/l/n, i didn’t mean to-“ he didn’t get to finish his sentence as you pushed him out of your way and stormed out of the hall.
normally his words wouldn’t mean anything. but it was a favorite sweater inherited from an uncle who was a hero in your eyes. he’d have bike rides with you, teach you the rules of quidditch and eat chocolate past your bedtime. he died because of some ignorant deatheater..as memories flooded back, you didn’t notice how someone approached you.
no one would come here during lunchtime. moreover, no one would know about its existence in the first place. as you lifted your eyes to look at whoever interrupted your peace, you were met with big brown eyes that were filled with guilt and confusion.
“hey..i know you don’t wanna talk but..” you shoved his hand away, wiping the tears away “listen. i apologize”
“for the first time in 7 years? thanks, i guess. now do me a favor and get lost” you weren’t used to his kindness. he just sighed and kneeled down in front of you. he pulled out tissues out of his bag and started wiping away your tears. the moment felt unreal, ethereal even, and all you could do was stare at him.

The bad girl gets what she deserves
Cedric Diggory x Slytherin!reader
Part 1, part 2
Link to masterlist
NSFW smut, adults/18+ only! Otherwise don’t read!
Tumblr media
Here’s the third and final part of the story I promised! I tried to make it extra special since it’s the last one! Again thank you so much to everyone for the support!
UPDATE because I forgot to write this before: For the sake of the story, let’s say the girl’s dormitories weren’t enchanted by the founders to prevent boys from entering like in the main stories.
Summary: You plan to have fun with Cedric at a party after hours
Word count: 4.1k
Tags/warnings: characters are of age, dry humping, making out, drinking, cum tasting, porn with a hint of plot, oral sex, blowjobs, grinding, (I’ll probably add more later)
-
As you walked through the Great Hall, you heard whispering coming from next to you. You glared as you whipped your head towards the source of the voices. Of course it had to be Draco Malfoy sitting at your house table with his little gang consisting of his friends, the Quidditch team, and some of the boys in your year. Malfoy looked up from his conversation with his friends to make eye contact with you before covering his mouth with his hands and giggling childishly. You let out an angry huff as you turned around. You hated giving Malfoy any sort of attention as much as you hated him giving you any attention as well.
You spotted your group of friends and greeted them before taking a seat next to them.
“You know, Malfoy started a rumor about you.” Was the first thing you heard.
“So what?” You said casually as you grabbed a box of cereal and poured it into your bowl along with the milk. “I don’t give a damn what that little twat says. What he says is irrelevant to me. I’ll be out of school by next year while he’s stuck here for two more years.”
“Actually, you’re going to want to care about this.” Your other friend said, looking around as if to see if anyone was snooping. “He’s telling people that you and Diggory are sleeping together.” She whispered.
You choked on your spoonful of cereal.
“What?! That little… ugh! He’s got no business saying that.”
“It’s not true is it?” She asked. “You and Diggory? The captain of the Hufflepuff Quidditch team? You’ve got to be mental to go for someone like him. I mean not that there’s anything wrong with him, but he’s just so… different from you. You’re lucky Malfoy and the rest of Slytherin never talk to Diggory or else that rumor would’ve made its way to him by now.”
“Shut up, Sofie.” Your other friend, who hadn’t spoken up, nudged her arm. She turned to you. “Is it true? I've got the feeling that you’ve been fancying him for quite some time. Don’t you guys always see her eye-fucking him everywhere he is?” She and the rest of the group erupted into a fit of giggles. “Like how she’s doing right now!”
Your cheeks turned an embarrassing shade of red as you turned your head away from where you saw Cedric sitting at the Hufflepuff table except his back was to you, so he wasn’t the one to catch you staring at him. Usually, you were able to focus enough to not act flustered around boys you liked, but at that moment, you were fuming so much inside because of other people putting their noses in your business that you couldn’t keep yourself together.
“Merlin’s beard!” Exclaimed Sofie. “Lia was right! You really fancy him!”
You didn’t say anything.
“I knew it!” You rolled your eyes at Lia who had a smug smile on her face.
You suppressed the urge to smack her with the cereal box.
While you and Cedric decided to call each other boyfriend and girlfriend last week, you wouldn’t have minded not being so secretive had it not been for the gossipy nature of your housemates. You weren’t the type of person who wanted everyone in your business, and the more people pried, the more inclined you were to push them away.
“You’re not saying anything.” Sofie said to you in a sing-song voice. “Normally, you would say whether something’s true or not when there’s a rumor about you. So the fact that you’ve got nothing to say means it’s true then.”
“What? No, it means I have other things to worry about… like what I’ll be doing after I graduate.” You tried to change subjects.
“Like where you and Cedric will live.” Lia smirked.
“Is Malfoy right? Are you and Diggory sleeping together?” You hated that the topic somehow went back to Cedric. Even though it had only been a week after he and you got together, you felt like it would’ve been disrespectful to him and inappropriate if you were to start blabbing to your friends about your sexual encounters with him without his consent.
“I’m not going to say whether anything is true or not because I don’t want to give Malfoy the satisfaction of getting to me. I’ll see you in class.” You finished your bowl of cereal and got up to leave, slinging your bag over your shoulder.
“You‘ll see Cedric in class too!” You ignored your friends giggling behind you.
Making sure that you were satisfied with how you did your eyeliner, you turned away from the mirror towards your friends. Some were still doing their makeup by their vanity while the others were sitting on their beds.
“You look hot by the way.” Serina said from her spot on her bed. She was talking about the black dress she picked out for you from her wardrobe. It was strapless and stopped right below your butt. You were glad you had magic so that you could make it fit you properly, not too baggy and not too tight.
“Yeah, if only Cedric could see you.” Isabel smiled as she wiggled her eyebrows at you.
“Come on guys, there’s nothing to talk about concerning Cedric… we just study a lot together. Because we have most of our classes… together.” You tried to keep your voice level as you knew the color of your cheeks were anything but that.
“Stop denying it. We’ve seen you hang out with him, and by the looks of it, we can tell he fancies you too.” Lia said, the other girls nodding in agreement.
“You spied on me? For how long?” What else could you expect from your friends? They were in Slytherin for a reason.
“A week after we had that conversation at breakfast… I promise you we’re not judging!” Sofie rushed in, putting her hands on her shoulders. “We were talking about the party that we’re throwing in the common room tonight, and we thought you might want to… invite Cedric? It’s not even curfew yet. You can go find him. Just let him in.”
“Oh. Yes, if only it were just us and nobody else at the party.” You said sarcastically as you shrugged.
“You said you don’t care about the rumors of you and Cedric being fuckbuddies. Or dating, whatever.” Sofie pointed out.
“Come on, you’ll have much more fun with Cedric at the party… ” Isabel pleaded. “And we promise not to come in here.”
“Why would you say that? This is our room…” It then dawned on you what she implied, and you coughed as you took a look at the other girls who were all looking at you in return with a matching mischievous look in their eyes. “Oh…”
“We all know you want to.” Serina said with a know-it-all attitude. “And when it’s over, Cedric will have no problem sneaking back to his common room because he can get away with telling people he’s doing his duties as a Prefect.”
“Think about it.” Isabel said.
“Okay fine.” You seethed through your clenched teeth. “Malfoy was right about me and Cedric. So were you. We’re… seeing each other.” You cautiously admitted.
“Took you long enough to say it.” Lia rolled her eyes. “Not that you had to say it.”
“Let’s go. You’re wasting your time just by talking to us. Go find Cedric.” Sofie grabbed your hand and dragged you to the door before using her one armed strength to push you out of the room before you could say anything. You shivered as you held your arms against your chest. You hated that they didn’t give you your jacket or your wand so you could keep yourself warm.
You watched as the students in yellow and black uniforms walked past you to their common room. You knew how suspicious you looked, an outsider hanging around somewhere that wasn’t your space. Most of the students were too tired from doing homework or studying to pay attention to you, anyways. Except for one.
“You again!” It was the same first year boy that caught you sneaking into the Quidditch changing rooms the day you put that note in Cedric’s school bag. He was pointing at you. And he was with Cedric. Great. Now that you found him, you had to get him away from his little friend.
“Yeah, what of me?” You stood up from your place against the wall. “Cedric and I have some adult business to discuss.” You looked over at your boyfriend, whose eyes you caught widening as he took in your revealing outfit.
“We do? Oh… right.” You enjoyed seeing boys fumbling around you and getting flustered when you’d catch them spacing out, and it was especially amusing when it was someone you had fancied for a while.
“Yeah. Our assignments, and you know…” You raised your eyebrows at him, hoping he’d take a hint.
“Go on, it’s alright.” He said to the younger student, patting him on the back.
Once it was just the two of you alone out in the darkened corridor, you let your lips crash down on each other’s, not knowing who initiated the kiss.
“It’s almost curfew.” Cedric said once the two of you broke off from the kiss. You enjoyed the feeling of his warm hands running over the goosebumps on your arms. “You’ll get in trouble.”
“Like I’m a stranger to that.” You light-heartedly scoffed before rolling your eyes. “Have you got time?”
“Well, sure. Anything for you.” Wasn’t he just the sweetest boyfriend ever?
“My friends and I are having a party in our common room, and we want to invite you.” You said, eyeing him from his lips to your hands that were on his chest. “Come on, we’ll have so much fun. I know I’ve been having fun with you. And I want more. We don’t have to do anything you don’t want to.” Years of flirting taught you how to get boys to agree with you to almost anything. “And you’ll have no trouble sneaking around after the party because of your Prefect status.”
“I don’t know. I mean, it’s not my house’s common room. You said you and your friends want me there, but what about everyone else?” He asked.
“Well, you are the most confident Hufflepuff for a reason, and it’s not like you let other people’s negative opinions dictate how you act. I mean, I highly doubt anyone has a valid reason to dislike you. Because you’re so popular.” So far, you were pleased with yourself for how easily you were able to come up with what to say.
“So, what do you think?” You asked, letting your sparkling eyes and your smile do more of the talking.
You felt proud knowing your charms had worked on Cedric and he went along with your plan. By the time you had let him into the Slytherin common room, the party had already started with everyone present except for the younger students who wouldn't be aware of the party thanks to the silencing charm.
At least everyone else was too busy dancing to the loud music, drinking, or socializing to notice your entrance and the presence of an outsider.
“Come on,” you took Cedric’s hand and led him to where the windows were, next to the Black Lake. He was a little slow catching up to you, as he was more focused on taking in the room he’d never been in before.
“Wow. It’s… interesting.” Cedric was still looking around and moving his head like a child who was seeing skyscrapers for the first time.
You giggled at how adorable you thought he looked.
“I never thought I’d see the Slytherin common room.” He said off-handedly.
You saw your friends from the corner of your eye waving you over. “I think your friends want to talk to you.” Cedric leaned over to you as he pointed at them.
“Let’s go!“ you grabbed his hand as you led him over to the middle of the room where most of the students were dancing.
“Stop keeping to yourselves and get out there!” Serina shouted at you, giving your butt a light spank, making you lurch forward. Making sure to not lose your balance on your heels, you stepped up to the table before holding your hand out for Cedric to take.
He looked around to your friends bashfully before taking your hand and standing up on the table next to you. You let yourself get lost in the beat for a moment before taking Cedric’s face in your hands and kissing him on the lips, in front of everyone. You could hear some of the tipsy students whistle and clap. You and Cedric pulled back from the kiss before giving each other a smile.
“Yeah! Get it!” You heard one of your friends screaming from your side before handing you two shot glasses. You took one for yourself while you passed the other one over to Cedric.
“It’s Firewhiskey! It’s that one we stole from Snape!” One of them said. Of course you remembered the thrill of sneaking into his classroom with your friends and finding that bottle in his desk drawer.
“Bottoms up!” You held your shot glass up to Cedric, and you made a toast before you both downed your drinks in one sip.
After putting down the glasses, you resumed dancing with Cedric, with the burning sensation of the drink making you feel warm along with the boost of confidence.
You and Cedric did more than just kiss this time. As he parted his mouth, you traced your tongue along his bottom and top lip, licking the alcohol.
Another chorus of loud whistles and claps soon followed, this time accompanied by intelligible sentences.
“Is that Diggory? I never thought they’d go for each other!”
“Aren’t they sleeping with each other?!”
“They’re totally sleeping with each other!”
“I told you so!”
All that teenage gossip became white noise to you, making it easy for you to drown out thanks to the alcohol. You did not care about anyone else at that moment other than the one person who had his body pressed against you. You didn’t care about what other people would say about seeing you making out with the captain of your house’s rival Quidditch team. All you cared about was having a good time with Cedric.
“Woohoo! Show us what you got!” Came from the direction where your friends were standing.
Feeling encouraged by what you just heard, you turned around and took both of Cedric’s hands and placed them on your waist. You may or may not have purposely bumped your ass against your dance partner’s frontside a few times.
Your friends giggled and cheered some more as they caught onto what you were doing and it seemed Cedric did too. “Do you think anyone would bother us if we went somewhere more private?” What was that saying you heard? Great minds think alike? You smirked at that thought as you stepped down onto the floor with Cedric following you.
“Ooh! I see someone wants some alone time!” You heard one of your friends teasing you.
“Shouldn’t you be up there? It’s your turn.” You countered back sassily as you showed them all forward. After your group of friends turned back and winked at you, you took Cedric’s hand and led him to your room.
After reaching behind Cedric to lock the door to your room, you pressed him against the wood while keeping your lips locked onto his. He let you take the lead, parting his lips to grant your tongue entrance into his mouth. He let out a low groan as your palms delicately slid over his bulge. Heat pulsed between your legs at feeling how hard he was already.
By the time you broke off the kiss, you were both panting heavily despite having barely touched each other. At least in comparison to what you were thinking of doing to him.
Wordlessly, you took his hand and led him over to where your bed was. You continued making out with him as you pushed him down by the shoulders so that he could sit down on the mattress. He held onto your waist as you straddled yourself over him.
You moaned out Cedric’s name as you could feel his erection against you. The dress you were wearing was so short that it completely rode up your thighs with the way you were positioned, so that you were able to get a lot of friction against your clothed pussy.
Cedric gripped onto your waist tighter at the same time you started grinding yourself against him, his bulge and the front seam of his trousers sliding along your clit and then your folds in the most delicious way possible. But that wasn’t enough. Your insatiable appetite for pleasure wouldn’t leave you satisfied just from dry humping.
“Please, Cedric.” You breathed out in a hushed voice, borderline moaning. “I want to cum so fucking bad. I can tell you do too.” You cupped him through his clothes and gave him a squeeze.
In response, Cedric brought his hand around your neck and brought his lips to yours before asking, “How do you want to do it?”
You didn’t reply with words, instead pushing him down gently until his back hit the mattress and pillows. He silently watched as you undid his belt and zipper, then freed his cock from its confines.
“I can’t wait to have this inside me.” You purred equally as slow as your fingers had moved along the shaft. He let out a groan as you left a light kiss on the tip, red from all the blood rushing there.
You let the tip ease in between your lips before savoring the taste with your tongue running along the slit. You bobbed your head a few times, batting your lashes at Cedric while he was brushing your hair out of your face.
After a few minutes of letting his dick in and out of your throat and past your lips, the silence was broken by a plop as you let your saliva connect with his precum. You were oddly fascinated by that string of liquid. It reminded you of how easily the tip would slide into you now that it was wet, and thinking about it only made another rush of heat gather between your legs.
“I’m gonna fuck you now.” You said into Cedric’s ear quietly as you leaned forward in your straddle position. In response, he propped himself up onto his elbows and struck a peck on your lips.
You turned around and swiped your hair to one side so that Cedric could watch as you unzipped your dress, slowly revealing your skin to him, teasing him. Once you had thrown your dress over your head and discarded it, you knew this was where the real fun could begin.
With you on top of Cedric, you let him slowly guide your hips as you took a seat on his cock. You breathed a sigh of relief at the welcome feeling of fullness stuffing your cunt. Throughout the times you slept with Cedric, you’d become addicted to having him inside you, stretching out your wet, aching pussy, only to have it be fed by his hot cum. In the aftermath, you’d be transfixed by the sight of the white liquid pouring down your legs.
Grabbing the fabric around his thighs, you slowly bounced up and down, along with having one of his hands squeezing a fist full of your ass before sliding to where your waist curved inward.
As you opened your eyes, you caught sight of yourself on the vanity and wardrobe mirrors around the room. Your breasts were exposed, bouncing along with the rest of your body, and the duplicates of your reflection reminded you that Cedric could most definitely see your frontside too.
It was the knowledge of how he could watch you fuck yourself that tempted you to show him more, let him know just how slutty you could be.
“You’re so gorgeous.” Cedric grunted from behind you as he ran the back of his fingers along your spine, causing you to moan slightly at the ticklish, yet somehow erotic sensation. You could never get tired of hearing him call you gorgeous no matter how often. It made you feel special, reminded you of his reputation as a good boy, which is what turned you on about him in the first place.
You took another peek at the mirror across the room, and saw the crumpled, pleasure-stricken look on your face. Wanting to give Cedric a better show, you made it a point to stick out your tits and flick your thumbs and forefingers along both nipples, hardening the peaks, which heightened the pleasure and heat in your cunt.
It seemed Cedric got a little jealous of you having all the fun since he snaked his own hand under yours, cupping your breast. He started to mimic what he saw you doing to yourself with your other hand with his own.
There was a stark contrast between touching yourself with your own hand versus having Cedric touch you. Whereas your palms were smaller, fingers shorter and more slender with a softer touch, he had larger palms that covered more surface, longer, thicker fingers that had that a certain roughness that was typical of men, and his blunt fingernails which he kept much shorter than yours allowed him to maneuver his fingertips in ways you couldn’t with your manicured nails.
In addition, it was far more exciting with someone else doing it to you as there was the anticipation and the thrill of unpredictability.
“Oh… fuck.” You bit your lip, too engrossed in the way Cedric was touching you that you soon grew bored of your other hand, moving it to your clit instead.
“Let me get that for you.” He placed his free hand on top of yours and guided it to his leg. Balancing yourself on him, you took a quick look down as his index finger was pressed against the swollen nub between your legs.
Jolting forward as even the slightest touch triggered your walls to squeeze harder around his stiff cock, a slew of profanities slipped past your lips.
“I got you.” You heard Cedric’s deep, comforting voice, which you didn’t realize was pushing you towards an orgasm at first.
“Fuck. Cedric… I can’t! I-I’m about-” As you were on the verge of sobbing, your words weren’t making sense. Without thinking about anything else but your impending orgasm, you bounced harder on his cock, willing for it to go deeper, to reach as much as it could in places you could never get to with your fingers.
Soon, you felt something hot spilling inside you as Cedric’s grip on your breast tightened, followed by your walls and pussy lips fluttering around him.
As you continued to scream into your hand, you savored each rope of hot cum that was spilling inside you. On the other hand, Cedric wasn’t much quieter than you were.
Soon, you both had calmed down. Even when his cock had softened inside of you, he didn’t pull out, instead using it to keep his cum plugged in you. How you loved feeling so full like this after sex.
Carefully sitting up, he encircled his arm around your frontside, squishing your breasts together as he hoisted himself up so that you were both upright with you still on his lap.
You were in the middle of catching your breath when you felt his lips pepper kisses from your neck to your shoulder.
“I should probably get back to my dorm now.” He whispered, letting teeth latch onto your earlobe.
“Right. Since you’re such a good boy.” You emphasized the last two words in a patronizing tone, as a way to tease him.
Being careful not to get his uniform dirty, you quickly lifted yourself off of him.
You let Cedric ogle your still naked body standing in front of him. Maintaining eye contact, you ran your fingers along the inside of your thigh, sighing as they came into contact with the sticky mess he left behind. With wide blinking eyes, he stared as you dipped each finger into your mouth, sucking and tasting him.
Of course, you couldn’t say goodbye without kissing him on the lips.
Maybe it was time he got a taste of himself. Literally.

Durmstrang Gang
i made these OCs about a year and a half ago for a discord server roleplay group, but i kinda abandonded them as i moved on to other projects. i want to use them again, so have some basic facts! if you remember them you are entitled to a Char Besties Club Ticket!
Tumblr media
Cassian Peverell
Half brother of my oc Jack. Same dad (horrible man iykyk), different mum. He was the favoured son because he sort of embodied all the pureblood sterotypes that the Peverell family value, whilst Jack is the opposite in every way.
After it was discovered he is a bastard he was sent to Durmstrang to preserve his father's image and keep him out of the picture. He deeply resents his father and is now a recovering pureblood supremacist. He is in Atticus house, although once transferring to Hogwarts he is a Slytherin with his brother. His patronus is an adder.
General appearance- black curls, ice blue eyes, snake bites, lots of piercings, snake tattoo on his neck, sleeve of tattoos on left arm, tall. wears lots of rings and necklaces.
get in line ladies and gents, he's single and ready to mingle
Elias Ahlberg
Elias is a Swede, and comes from one of the oldest pureblood families in all of Sweden. Yes, I made up an entire Swedish pureblood society for ONE random character for RP purposes. I'm fine.
He's a sweetie and loves art. His partner is @mamalunawolf 's Cirilla, and they met when he and Ziven came to Hogwarts over Christmas to surprise Cass. One of the more open-minded of the boys, as in Sweden there is not so much emphasis on who has what blood, unlike in the UK where it's sooo important if you're pure, half, muggleborn etc.
He is in Terpsichora house, but if he attended Hogwarts he would have been a Hufflepuff. Patronus - golden retriever
General appearance- long, strawberry blonde/light ginger hair, brown eyes, slightly tannish skin, moles, tall, gangly
Ziven Karkaroff
JOCK JOCK JOCK. Buff man. Dumb as rocks. Still adorable. If Quidditch was allowed at Durmstrang, he'd be a Beater, and a damn good one. He's got an extra-thick skull that's good for taking bludgers probably.
He was raised in a similar way to Cassian, in the sense that he should know that he's better than everyone for being a pureblood and that he's superior in every way. Luckily for us, he has, as I said, a thick skull, and those ideals didn't really sink in. He genuinely just... doesn't understand WHY one's blood status should mean anything. Good for him! Ziv is a nice guy if you can get through that very, very, VERY thick exterior. A bit stoic and on the surface DOES look like one of those people that would bully you from your lunch money and drinks the blood of non-Slavics for fun. He would never, though.
He is in Concinne house, would be a Gryffindor if he was at Hogwarts. Patronus - Saint Bernard
General appearance- black hair, cropped close, hazel eyes, BUFF AS HELLLLL, very tall, tattoo of hippogriff on his chest (iykyk), wears a karakroff crest signet ring
he's with one of @girl-named-matty 's ocs (but idk if you still use her waaahh)
Nikolai Krum
The nerd of the group. He is fascinated with the mysteries of the universe and in an au that takes place in a different time period HE would have been the first man in space or died trying. probably died. he's got claustrophobia as well, so you can see why his ambition to travel through space would be conflicting with that...
GAYYY, likes to write and map the stars. Plot twist: despite the fact that Durmstrang ONLY accepts purebloods, Nik is, DUN DUN DUNNNN a halfblood. His parents lied about his blood status so he could attend, and it's only by technicality anyway (his mother comes from a long line of purebloods, but because one time like 2 generations ago one of them married a muggle, for some reason that's not good enough??).
He is in Terpsichora with Elias, but if at Hogwarts he would have definitely been a Ravenclaw. Patronus - Blackbirdl
General appearance - Black hair, green eyes, freckles, short, wide shoulders but slut waist, always painting his nails either black or dark purple. earrings
He's single too, gentlemen hehe.
None of them have in-game models, as none of the presets actually fit how i imagine them. one day, though, i shall draw them

The warm, golden light of early summer stretched across the rolling fields of Leander’s family farm. The end-of-year celebration was in full swing, with groups of students lounging on hay bales and picnic blankets scattered across the lawn. Jars of fireflies were strung between the wooden beams of the nearby barn, glowing softly as the sun dipped lower in the sky. Music floated through the air from a charmed gramophone perched on a barrel, and the scent of grilled sausages and roasted vegetables wafted from a table laden with food.
Evangeline stood at the edge of the crowd, nervously tugging at the hem of her dress—a soft, deep green sundress with a fitted bodice that flared out slightly at her hips. It wasn’t anything she’d have chosen herself; Natty and Cressida had insisted she wear it, practically ganging up on her in the dorms earlier that day.
“Come on, Evie,” Cressida had said, holding the dress up against her with a gleam of determination in her eye. “It’s perfect for tonight! And you do own it, so it’s about time you actually wore it.”
Natty had nodded in agreement, her tone encouraging but firm. “You’ll look stunning, I promise. This cut will show off your waist, and the color is absolutely perfect with your complexion. Besides,” she’d added with a sly grin, “it’s nearly the end of the year. Go out with a little confidence.”
Evie had protested, of course—something about how it was too much or too outside her comfort zone—but by the time her friends were done with her, she was standing in front of the mirror, the soft fabric of the dress hugging her figure just enough to highlight her curves. She had to admit, however grudgingly, that it looked alright.
Now, though, standing at the edge of the party, she felt exposed.
“Evie!” Poppy called, waving her over to a circle of students gathered near the bonfire. “Come on, we’re about to start a drinking game!”
Evie smiled and waved back but didn’t move immediately. Her gaze drifted across the party, landing on a familiar figure leaning against the side of the barn. Sebastian stood with a drink in hand, his shirt sleeves rolled up and his hair slightly tousled. He was laughing at something Garreth had said, his eyes alight with mischief. It was nice, seeing him like this—out of his Slytherin robes, so at ease in the warm glow of the firelight. She quickly looked away, her heart doing an uncomfortable little flip.
“Evie?” a voice broke into her thoughts, and she turned to see Ethan, a Hufflepuff boy from their year, smiling at her. “Haven’t seen you in a while."
Ethan was solid and broad-shouldered, with sandy blond hair that fell just slightly into his green eyes, giving him a boyish charm that most girls in their year found endearing.
Evangeline, however, remained unmoved. Objectively, she could see why others might fancy him, but there was no spark of interest—no fluttering of her heart or warmth creeping up her cheeks. To her, Ethan was just Ethan: friendly, harmless, and perhaps a bit too persistent.
“Excited for exams?” he asked, his tone warm and conversational, but there was a faint nervousness in the way he shifted on his feet. "This'll probably be our last bit of fun before we're all neck deep in parchment and textbooks."
“I’m just ready for them to be over," she said, a polite smile tugging at her lips.
Ethan chuckled, his easygoing laugh ringing out over the sounds of the party. “Aren’t we all? Though I bet you don’t have much to worry about. You’ve probably got top marks in Potions and Defense Against the Dark Arts. Meanwhile, I’ll be lucky if I don’t blow up another cauldron.”
Evangeline gave a soft laugh, though it didn’t quite reach her eyes. “I’m sure you’ll do fine. Professor Sharp can be... intimidating, but his bark is far worse than his bite.”
“That’s reassuring,” Ethan replied, flashing her another smile that lingered just a second too long. “Maybe next term I should partner up with you. I could use someone to keep me in line.”
His tone was light, but the way he leaned ever so slightly closer made her stomach twist. She glanced away, hoping to deflect. “Well, Sharp might not appreciate me pulling double duty as a babysitter., considering I need to keep an eye on Garreth too.”
Ethan laughed, not deterred. “Fair enough. Besides, I wouldn’t want to distract you from your own brilliance.”
Evangeline tried not to cringe. She managed a polite smile but didn’t respond, glancing toward the bonfire where her friends were gathered. Natty caught her eye, raising an eyebrow in a way that clearly said, Do you need rescuing? And Evie gave the smallest shake of her head, though her unease remained.
“You know,” Ethan continued, oblivious to her discomfort, “You look... really nice tonight, Evie.”
Her cheeks warmed, but not for the reasons Ethan might have hoped. Compliments like that always made her feel uncomfortable, like she was suddenly on display. “Thanks,” she murmured, her voice soft. “That’s kind of you.”
“It’s not kindness,” he said, stepping just a fraction closer. “Just honesty.”
Across the yard, Sebastian’s eyes narrowed as he watched. He couldn’t hear their conversation over the hum of chatter and the crackle of the bonfire, but he didn’t need to. The way Ethan’s posture tilted slightly toward her, the deliberate smile on his face, the soft blush on Evie’s cheeks—it all painted a picture Sebastian didn’t want to see.
He scoffed, taking a sip of his drink. Of course Ethan would try his luck tonight. The end-of-year celebration had everyone feeling nostalgic and bold, the perfect excuse for ill-timed confessions.
“Seb,” Garreth said, snapping him out of his thoughts. “You’ve been glaring at them for ages. What’s got your robes in a twist?”
Sebastian scoffed, straightening up and tossing back the rest of his drink. “I’m not glaring. It’s just embarrassing, watching him fumble around like that. He’s not even subtle.”
“Embarrassing for him or for you?” Garreth asked, a teasing grin spreading across his face.
“Shut up, Weasley,” Sebastian muttered, his tone sharper than intended as his gaze drifted back to Evangeline. She was nodding along, her hands fidgeting with the hem of her dress while Ethan leaned in, saying something that made her laugh softly. That laugh, paired with the way her dark hair fell in soft waves over her shoulders and the warm firelight brushed across her skin, had Sebastian’s stomach twisting.
Then there was the dress—that deep green sundress that clung to her waist before flaring out, its simplicity somehow making her look even more striking. It obviously wasn’t the first time he’d seen Evangeline in something other than her uniform, but tonight felt different. She looked... stunning, though the word felt dangerous the moment it crossed his mind. And Ethan, of course, had noticed as well.
Sebastian forced his attention back to Garreth, his smirk a little too forced. “He’s wasting his time,” he muttered, “She’s not interested.”
Garreth tilted his head, watching Sebastian with a knowing look. “You sure about that?”
“I know Evie better than anyone,” Sebastian said firmly, his tone sharper than he intended. “She’s not into blokes like him.”
Garreth raised his hands in surrender, his grin widening. “Alright, alright. Whatever helps you sleep at night, mate.”
Sebastian ignored him, turning his attention back to the bonfire, watching as Evie leaned back slightly, a hand brushing a stray lock of hair from her face as Ethan said something else, drawing another smile.
“Seb,” Garreth called, nudging him with an elbow. “Earth to Sallow. Are you going to keep brooding all night, or are you actually going to enjoy yourself?”
“I’m fine,” Sebastian replied tersely, stalking over to the drinks table and grabbing himself another glass, "We gonna play whiskey pong?"
Garreth followed, still grinning as he grabbed a drink of his own. “You’re on. Though I’d say you’ve already got a head start, mate. You’ve been downing those like it’s a competition. Trying to give me an easy win?"
Sebastian shrugged, pouring himself a generous serving. “Keep dreaming, Weasley.”
The two joined a group already gathered around the makeshift whiskey pong setup, a long wooden table with a pyramid of cups at each end. The rules were simple: toss the ball into a cup, make your opponent drink. It was just the kind of distraction Sebastian needed—something to channel his frustration into and keep his mind off Evangeline and Ethan.
As the game went on, Sebastian’s usual confidence came roaring back. His competitive streak flared as he sank shot after shot, his smirk growing with every triumphant cheer from the surrounding crowd. For a while, he managed to forget the lingering jealousy gnawing at the edges of his thoughts.
But every now and then, his gaze would drift back to the bonfire, where Evangeline sat with her friends. She was smiling now, leaning close to Natty as they whispered and laughed about something he couldn’t hear. She looked at ease, and the sight of her like that—happy, unguarded—made his chest tighten.
“Your turn, Sallow,” Garreth called, snapping him out of his thoughts.
Sebastian lined up his shot, forcing himself to focus. The ball arced through the air, sinking neatly into a cup on Garreth’s side of the table. The surrounding crowd erupted into cheers, and Sebastian flashed a smug grin as Garreth groaned and reached for the cup.
“Drink up, Weasley,” Sebastian said, his tone dripping with mock sympathy. “Looks like I’m on a roll.”
“Enjoy it while it lasts, mate. Your luck’s about to run out.” Garreth muttered, but there was no real bite to his words. He drained the cup in one go, slamming it down on the table with a flourish.
Sebastian smirked, raising his glass in a mock toast. “We’ll see about that.”
The whiskey pong continued, the night growing hazier with every drink. By the time Sebastian finally claimed victory, his earlier edge of irritation had dulled into something quieter, more manageable. But as he stepped away from the game and glanced toward the bonfire once more, his brow furrowed.
Evangeline was missing.
He scanned the crowd, his chest tightening slightly despite himself. Where had she gone?
“Looking for someone?” Ominis's voice cut through his thoughts.
Sebastian turned sharply, his smirk faltering as he met his friend's smug expression.
“No,” Sebastian replied quickly.
Ominis raised an eyebrow, his lips quirking into a faint, knowing smirk. “Oh, I see. You’re not looking for Evangeline. Well, in that case, you won’t be interested to know that she took a walk toward the pasture. Alone.”
Sebastian’s shoulders tensed, his smirk vanishing entirely. “She—” He cut himself off, quickly schooling his expression into something more neutral. “Why would I care where she went?”
Ominis let out a soft, exasperated sigh, shaking his head. “I don't know. Why would you care?" He shrugged, turning on his heel to walk back towards the party, “I’m sure she’s fine, but if it’ll ease your clearly nonexistent concern, you could always check on her. Just... hypothetically, of course.”
Sebastian hesitated, his eyes flicking toward the direction Ominis had indicated. He could see the faint outline of the pasture under the moonlight, the rolling hills dark against the starry sky.
“Hypothetically,” he muttered under his breath, downing the rest of his drink before setting the empty glass on a nearby barrel. The distant hum of the party faded behind him as he strode toward the pasture, his steps uneven from the whiskey but purposeful all the same.
The air was cooler away from the crowd, and the faint smell of hay mingled with the earthiness of the fields. He spotted her almost immediately, a lone figure standing near the wooden fence that separated the pasture from the rest of the farm. The green of her dress stood out against the dark backdrop, her hair catching the moonlight in a way that made his chest ache.
“Evie,” he called, his voice cutting through the quiet. She turned, her expression briefly startled before she relaxed, her lips curving into a small smile.
“Sebastian,” she replied, her tone light but questioning. “What are you doing out here?”
“I could ask you the same thing,” he countered, leaning against the fence a few feet away from her. “You’ve been missing all the fun.”
She shrugged, her gaze drifting back to the pasture. “Just needed some air."
Sebastian nodded and for a moment, neither of them spoke, the quiet sounds of the countryside filling the space between them.
“You look...” he started, then hesitated, the words catching in his throat.
Evie glanced at him curiously. “What?”
Sebastian cleared his throat, looking away toward the horizon. “You look nice tonight,” he said finally, his voice a touch too casual.
Her cheeks warmed, and she ducked her head. “Thank you. You do too. It’s strange seeing everyone out of their uniforms.”
“Strange good, or strange bad?” he teased, shooting her a sidelong glance.
“Strange good,” Evie replied, a small smile tugging at her lips. “It’s just… different. Feels like we’re playing dress-up or something.”
Sebastian chuckled, though the sound was soft, almost distracted. His gaze flickered to her once more, lingering on the way the moonlight caught the curve of her cheek, the delicate sweep of her collarbone revealed by the dress. The sight stirred something he quickly tried to push aside.
“So,” he said eventually, his tone casual, though his jaw tightened slightly. “Ethan seems... eager tonight.”
Evie blinked, turning to look at him fully. “Ethan?”
“Yeah, you know,” Sebastian said, his smirk returning but lacking its usual edge. “Blond, Hufflepuff, keeps laughing at everything you say like it’s the most brilliant thing he’s ever heard.”
Evie’s brows furrowed, her lips pressing into a thin line. “He’s just being friendly.”
“Friendly,” Sebastian echoed, a faint scoff in his voice. “Right. Because leaning in like that and giving you those puppy-dog eyes is totally platonic.”
Evie sighed, her fingers tightening on the fence. And when she didn't respond right away, Sebastian's chest tightened into a knot, the silence stretching uncomfortably between them. He tried to brush it off, he really did, but the thought of Ethan’s easy grin and the way he’d leaned closer to her made his jaw clench.
“Evie,” Sebastian pressed, his voice quieter now, almost hesitant. “You’re not actually... interested in him, are you?”
She sighed again, looking up at him with that exasperated expression he knew too well. "No, Sebastian," she said,"I’m not interested in Ethan.”
Sebastian exhaled. “Good,” he said, the word slipping out before he could stop it. When Evie raised an eyebrow at him, he quickly added, “I mean, not that it’s any of my business.”
Evie chuckled softly, shaking her head as she turned back to the pasture. "I'm perfectly capable of handling myself, you know."
"I know," Sebastian said quickly, leaning back against the fence with a casual shrug. “But it doesn’t hurt to have backup. Especially when the backup is this charming.”
Evie rolled her eyes, though her lips curved into a faint smile. “Backup. Right. Because Merlin knows Ethan was such a threat.”
“He could’ve been,” Sebastian muttered, just loud enough for her to hear.
She turned to him fully now, her head tilted slightly as she studied him. There was no anger in her gaze, just a quiet curiosity that made him shift under her scrutiny. “You’re really worked up about this, aren’t you?”
“I’m not worked up,” Sebastian lied, crossing his arms defensively. “I’m just—” He hesitated, searching for the right words. “Trying to help."
Evie tilted her head back, her gaze lifting to the stars scattered across the night sky before her eyes met his again.
"...What’s this really about, Sebastian?”
Sebastian froze, caught off guard by the question. Her voice was soft, without accusation, but the weight of it pressed down on him all the same. He forced a smirk, the one he wore like armor in moments like this. “What do you mean? It’s about Ethan. Bloke clearly doesn’t know when to back off.”
Evie didn’t blink, her steady gaze pinning him in place. “No, it’s not,” she said, her tone calm but resolute. “Tell me the truth.”
Sebastian turned his head, looking out at the dark expanse of the pasture. “It’s nothing,” he said, his voice lower now, almost uncertain. “Just... end-of-year stress, maybe.”
“That’s not it either,” Evie countered, her brow furrowing. She stepped a little closer, her voice dropping. “Sebastian, I know you. So... just tell me what’s really going on.”
Sebastian let out a soft, humorless laugh, shaking his head. “You think you know me that well, huh?”
“I do,” she said firmly, her gaze unwavering. “And right now, you’re deflecting.”
He sighed, running a hand through his already-tousled hair. “You’re relentless."
“And you’re avoiding the question,."
She was so close to him now he could see the shimmer of moonlight reflecting in her eyes, smell her perfume curling around him, see the way her chest rose and fell with each breath. And Merlin, he wanted to close the gap between them. The thought struck him with a force that almost made him stagger. He wanted to reach out, to touch her hand resting so lightly on the fence, to pull her closer and finally say everything he’d been holding back. But the fear of ruining everything stopped him cold.
Instead, he swallowed hard, his jaw clenching as he forced his gaze back to the dark expanse of the pasture. “Evie,” he began, his voice quieter now, almost unsteady. “You don’t make this easy, you know that?”
“Make what easy?” she asked softly, her tone curious, almost tender.
Sebastian turned to look at her again, and for a moment, he forgot how to breathe. The struggle inside him was unbearable, the push and pull of his instincts tangling into a knot that refused to loosen. One side screamed for him to deflect, to laugh it off and keep the fragile balance of their friendship intact. The other side—the louder, more reckless side—urged him to just say it, to lay it all out in the open and deal with the fallout later.
“You really want to know what’s going on?” he asked, his voice strained.
Evie nodded.
Sebastian let out a shaky breath, his lips curling into a smirk that was far too forced to be convincing. “Alright,” he said, his tone shifting to something light and teasing, though his heart thundered against his ribs. “If you really must know... I’ve been trying to figure out how to convince you to fall madly in love with me before the year’s out.”
Evie blinked, startled, and for a moment, her expression was unreadable. Then, slowly, her lips curved into a smile, though there was an edge of something she couldn't quite hide.
“Is that so?” she asked, tilting her head slightly, her tone playful but cautious.
Sebastian shrugged, trying desperately to keep his voice casual. “Obviously. I mean, who wouldn’t want to secure the affections of the great Evangeline Sterling? Gryffindor beater extraordinaire, unparalleled in charm and wit...” He trailed off, his smirk faltering. "Seems everyone's trying to, these days."
Evie studied him, her smile lingering but her brow furrowing slightly, as though she was trying to puzzle out whether he was serious or not.
“Well,” she said slowly, her tone matching his lightness despite the hesitation in her posture. “You’ve got your work cut out for you, Sallow. I’m not so easily convinced.”
Sebastian laughed, “Oh, I know,” he said, leaning back against the fence and crossing his arms. “I’ve been planning a campaign—flowers, serenades, maybe even a dramatic duel or two. The works.”
“Dramatic duels, huh?” Evie replied, her lips twitching into a faint smile, though it didn’t quite reach her eyes. “Seems a bit excessive.”
“With someone like Ethan sniffing around?” Sebastian quipped, raising an eyebrow. “I’d say it’s warranted.”
Evie rolled her eyes, but the mention of Ethan seemed to draw her back into herself, and the quiet between them grew heavy once again.
Sebastian could feel it, the unspoken tension wrapping around them like a thread stretched too tight. His chest ached, his heart pounding with the desperate hope that she’d push him just a little further, that she’d call him out and make him say what he really meant. He wanted her to pry, to break through the mask he’d so carefully put up.
But instead, Evie glanced away, her gaze fixed on the horizon. “Well,” she said softly, almost absently, “I guess I'll... be waiting for those flowers."
Sebastian’s smirk faltered, his stomach twisting as her words hit him harder than they should have. Her voice was light, teasing on the surface, but there was something underneath it that he couldn't quite decipher. And the silence that followed felt heavier than any before it, like a chasm widening between them with every passing second. Sebastian wanted to reach out, to pull her back across it, but he couldn’t seem to make himself move.
“Anyway….” she said at last, straightening and brushing her hands against her dress, “we should probably head back."
“Yeah,” he said, his voice quiet and strained. “Wouldn’t want to miss Garreth's flaming marshmallow stunt.”
Evie gave a faint smile over her shoulder, but it didn’t reach her eyes. “Sounds like something worth seeing,” she murmured, her tone light but distant.
She started walking back toward the glow of the bonfire, the soft swish of her dress the only sound between them. Sebastian stayed where he was, watching her retreating figure and feeling the weight of everything he hadn’t said pressing down on him like a curse.
He should have stopped her. He should have said something real, something honest. But instead, he stood there, frozen by his own uncertainty, as the gap between them grew wider with each step she took.
“Coward,” he muttered under his breath, raking a hand through his hair.
As Evie walked back toward the bonfire, the warm glow of the firelight did little to ease the chill that had settled over her. The strange, charged conversation with Sebastian replayed in her mind, each word turning over and over like a puzzle she couldn’t solve. He’d been hiding something—she was certain of that. But what?
The idea that he might actually like her, that his playful comments could have held even a grain of truth, made her chest ache. She could imagine it, just for a moment: Sebastian pining for her, his sharp wit masking a tender longing. The thought sent a flicker of warmth through her, a dangerous kind of hope she quickly pushed aside.
If anything, the whole exchange had been a joke to him, a clever way to dodge her questions while keeping her off balance. And now, as she imagined him laughing at the idea of liking her—of truly liking her—it felt like a sharp jab to the ribs.
Evie’s pace slowed as she neared the edge of the bonfire’s warm glow, her mind spinning with everything Sebastian had said—and everything he hadn’t.
She barely noticed Ominis until he stepped into her path. His expression was calm, but his lips pressed into a line of faint concern.
“You seem... upset.” he said softly, his head tilting as he studied her with that uncanny awareness he always had.
Evie blinked, startled by the directness of his words. “I’m not,” she said quickly, her tone sharper than she intended. “I’m fine.”
Ominis raised an eyebrow, unimpressed. “You’re not fine,” he said plainly, his voice devoid of accusation but unyielding. “You’re breathing too quickly, your voice is strained, and you sound about two seconds away from hexing me.”
She sighed, dragging a hand through her hair. “It’s nothing,” she muttered, glancing away. “I don’t want to talk about it.”
Ominis took a small step closer, his expression softening just enough to show that he wasn’t going to push her—yet.
“Fair enough,” he said, his tone deceptively light. “But if you’re planning to drink yourself into oblivion tonight, you might as well have company.”
Evie glanced at him, startled. “I’m not—”
“Oh, please,” Ominis interrupted with a faint smirk. “You’ve got that look. The one that says you’re about five minutes away from finding the strongest thing Garreth brought and trying to forget whatever just happened.”
Evie’s lips twitched despite herself, though the smile didn’t quite stick. “And you’re volunteering to keep me company?” she asked, a faint edge of sarcasm in her voice. “Since when do you drink at parties?”
“I don’t,” Ominis admitted, his smirk widening just slightly. “But someone has to make sure you don’t pass out in a field somewhere.”
That earned him a small laugh, quiet but genuine, and Ominis took it as a victory. He extended an arm toward her. “Come on. You can drink, and I’ll sit there looking judgmental. It’s one of my better skills.”
Evie hesitated, her gaze flickering back toward the barn where she’d left Sebastian. Part of her wanted to go find him, to demand answers, to pull the truth out of him no matter how messy it got. But another part—the part that ached the most—knew it would only hurt more.
Finally, she nodded, letting out a slow breath. “Alright,” she said, her voice quieter now.
The bonfire cast flickering shadows across the field as the party wore on, the vibrant hum of conversation and laughter growing looser as drinks continued to flow. Evie now sat on a blanket a short distance from the fire, her knees tucked to her chest and her cheeks warm from the whiskey Ominis had been feeding her.
“You sure you want another?” Ominis asked, his tone skeptical as she reached for another refill. He sat beside her, legs crossed, his wand resting idly on his lap.
“Yes, I’m sure,” Evie said, her words beginning to slur just slightly. “You’re supposed to be my company, not my conscience.”
Ominis let out a resigned sigh, tilting his head toward her as though in warning. “Alright, but don’t say I didn’t try.”
As the warmth of the whiskey settled in her chest, the sharp edges of her earlier conversation with Sebastian blurred into something softer, easier to ignore. The tension in her shoulders loosened, and she leaned back on her hands, watching the firelight dance over the faces of her friends.
By the time the fifth—or was it sixth?—drink found its way into her hand, Evie was giggling at everything Ominis said, even when he wasn’t trying to be funny. She didn’t notice the way Sebastian’s eyes flicked toward her from across the yard, his brow furrowed as he watched her down another glass without hesitation.
“I’m not even drunk,” Evie announced to no one in particular, her voice carrying over the crackling fire. Ominis, unimpressed, arched a brow.
“Right,” he said dryly, “and I’m the Head Boy of Gryffindor.”
Evie swatted his arm lightly, a grin spreading across her face. “You’re no fun, Ominis. You never let loose.”
“That’s because I’m the one keeping you from doing something regrettable,” he replied, his smirk tugging at the corners of his mouth.
But Ominis couldn’t hold back all of her reckless decisions, and soon, Evie found herself swept up in the growing carelessness of the crowd.
Someone—likely Garreth—had started a drinking game that involved conjuring increasingly ridiculous hats and balancing them on their heads while singing off-key. Evie had passed on the game earlier, but now, with her inhibitions rapidly fading, she looked tempted.
Before Ominis could protest, she'd already pushed herself up, teetering slightly as she joined the circle near the bonfire.
“Evie!” Garreth called, grinning as he conjured a sparkler that fizzled dramatically in his hand. “Your turn to sing! Pick a hat, pick a song!”
Evie giggled, the sound unrestrained and light. She plopped an oversized feathered hat on her head and grinned. “Alright,” she announced grandly, her slurred voice only adding to the humor. “Something... dramatic.”
“Dramatic, she says,” Garreth repeated, “Then give us your best rendition of A Cauldron Full of Hot, Strong Love! Don’t disappoint us, Sterling!”
The crowd erupted into cheers, and before she knew it, Evie was belting out the tune at the top of her lungs, swaying theatrically as the ridiculous hat wobbled precariously on her head. Her friends joined in, the group laughing so hard that they struggled to stay upright.
Watching from the sidelines, Ominis let out a long-suffering sigh, shaking his head. “She’s doomed.”
But Evangeline certainly didn't feel doomed. She felt invincible. The warm haze of whiskey and laughter coursed through her, blurring the edges of her usual reservations. She twirled dramatically, the feathered hat slipping sideways on her head as she gestured with exaggerated flair during the song's most outrageous lines. Her friends' cheers only encouraged her, and she leaned into the silliness, throwing herself into a wobbly curtsy as the final note ended in a flourish.
“Encore! Encore!” Ethan chanted from where he stood across from her, clapping loudly as others joined in.
Evie bowed deeply, nearly tipping over before catching herself on Natty’s shoulder, laughing so hard her cheeks hurt. “Thank you, thank you,” she said grandly, her words slurred but her smile beaming. “But I must retire while I’m still at the peak of my career.”
“More like before you fall on your face,” Natty muttered, steadying her.
Evie giggled again, waving off the concern as she reached for another drink, her inhibitions fully dissolved.
The bonfire crackled on merrily, casting flickering light over the group as they dissolved into more drunken banter. Garreth had somehow procured a half-empty bottle of mead and was regaling everyone with a wildly exaggerated tale of his "near-death" experience during a Potions mishap, complete with flailing arms and dramatic gasps for effect.
"And then—" Garreth paused for emphasis, swaying slightly as he pointed the bottle at Natty, "—the cauldron exploded! I swear, if I hadn’t ducked, I'd've lost my head!"
Cressida rolled her eyes but couldn’t help laughing. “Garreth, I was there, and all that happened was Professor Sharp yelling at you for using dragon scale dust instead of ash.”
“Details!” Garreth declared, throwing his hands up with mock indignation. “The point is, I survived. A true Gryffindor triumph!”
Evie giggled uncontrollably, leaning heavily against Natty for support as she tried to wipe tears of laughter from her eyes. “I think the real triumph is that you’re still allowed near a cauldron,” she teased, her words slurring slightly.
“Careful, Sterling,” Garreth shot back, wagging a finger at her. “I’ll have you know I’m a visionary. And visionaries are often misunderstood.”
“Misunderstood doesn’t mean competent,” Ominis deadpanned from his spot a little ways back, his tone dry as ever.
The group erupted into laughter, Evie’s cackling the loudest of all. She clutched her sides, practically doubled over, and Garreth pouted dramatically.
Ethan, perched on the edge of the blanket with a drink in hand, leaned forward, his grin mischievous. “Now... if we’re going to keep things interesting, maybe it’s time for something more daring.”
“Like what?” Poppy asked, eyeing him suspiciously.
The other Hufflepuff's grin widened, and he leaned back, spreading his arms in mock grandeur. “Body shots!”
The group fell silent for a beat, and then Garreth let out a whoop of laughter. “Ethan, you mad genius,” he said, slapping the other boy on the back. “I knew you were good for something.”
“Merlin’s beard!” Natty exclaimed, smacking Garreth's arm. “Have you lost all sense of decorum?”
“Decorum?” Leander repeated, laughing. “It’s an end-of-year celebration, Natty! Where’s your sense of fun?”
“Somewhere that doesn’t involve whiskey and licking people,” she shot back, but her tone was more amused than offended.
“Body shots,” Evie repeated, the words coming out slow and deliberate as though she was turning them over in her drunken mind. Her brow furrowed, and then she gasped with delight. “Like with the salt and lime and everything?”
Ominis paled. “Evie, no. Absolutely not.”
“Evie, yes!” Garreth declared, grabbing her hand and spinning her in place. “Come on, let’s show Ominis how fun works!”
“No, no, no—” Ominis started, fumbling for her other hand before shouting, “Garreth, stop manhandling her—” as the redhead hoisted Evie over his shoulder.
“You’re coming too, Gaunt,” Garreth teased, “A party’s not a party without your charming wit.”
“I’ll hex you,” Ominis growled, but his threat was cut short as Garreth moved ahead, unable to hear him among the group's laughter.
Sebastian, watching from across the yard, sighed deeply and pinched the bridge of his nose. This was spiraling faster than he’d anticipated, and the sight of Garreth spinning Evie around like a victorious Quidditch trophy was doing absolutely nothing to ease the frustration boiling in his chest.
“Are you going to do something, or just glower all night?” Violet asked, sidling up beside him with a teasing grin.
Sebastian’s jaw tightened as he muttered, “She’s fine.”
“Sure she is,” Violet said, her grin widening. “But you’re not.”
“Evie!” Ominis’s voice cut through the chaos, his exasperation palpable. “I’m serious—don’t you dare—”
But Evangeline Sterling was not listening.
Her cheeks were flushed with a mix of alcohol and laughter, and her eyes sparkled with the kind of reckless abandon that only came with too many drinks and too much encouragement. She grinned as Ethan placed a shot glass in her hand and presented her with a lime wedge like it was some grand prize.
“Alright, alright,” Evie said, holding up the glass like she was about to deliver a toast. “How does this work?”
Ethan grinned broadly, tossing an arm around Evie’s shoulder as if they were partners in some grand conspiracy. “It’s simple. First, someone offers up their belly button as the vessel for the shot.”
Across the yard, Sebastian froze, his drink halfway to his lips as Ethan's words hit him. This wasn’t just another round of drunken whiskey pong like he'd assumed. This was something else entirely—and the idea of Evie participating made his stomach churn uncomfortably.
Meanwhile, Evie's eyes widened, and she burst into laughter. “Their belly button?”
“Yes, ma’am!” Garreth, now joining in on the explanation, replied with mock seriousness as if he’d just revealed some great secret. “A noble tradition, steeped in the ancient rites of drunken debauchery..." Garreth studied the crowd, eyes narrowed until they landed on Ethan.
“And it's only right,” Garreth crowed. “That Ethan go first!"
“Absolutely not,” Ethan protested, his face turning a vivid shade of red as he glanced nervously at Evie, who was still clutching her sides with laughter. “I wasn’t serious!”
“Oh, but we are,” Garreth shot back, his grin widening as the rest of the group cheered and hollered in approval.
Ominis stood stiffly near the edge of the gathering as his frustration visibly mounted. His pale gaze flickered toward Sebastian, who had been observing the chaos with a stormy expression. For a moment, their eyes met, an unspoken agreement passing between them: this needed to stop.
Sebastian set down his drink, ready to intervene, but before either he or Ominis them could act, a voice cut through the commotion.
“Oi!” someone called from the shadows near the edge of the yard. “Who’s up for a swim? Let’s make it a proper party—skinny dipping at the pond!”
The group erupted in a mixture of laughter and gasps, the attention shifting immediately from Ethan to this new, far more reckless suggestion.
“Now that’s an idea!” Garreth declared, throwing his hands into the air. “Who’s coming?”
“I am!” Evie’s voice chimed in, determined despite her obvious intoxication.
“Evie, no!” Ominis’s voice was sharp as he stepped forward, his wand pointed toward her as though he might use it to physically tether her in place. “Absolutely not.”
“Evie, yes!” she shot back, already moving to follow the crowd. “I’ll be fine,” she said, waving him off with a grin.
Sebastian muttered a curse under his breath and moved to follow, but Ominis was way ahead of him, his strides carrying him quickly after her. “Evangeline Sterling, you are not doing this,” he snapped, his usually composed tone fraying at the edges as he tried to keep pace with her, but she was already weaving her through the crowd, her laughter drifting back to him on the wind.
The pond lay at the edge of the property, its surface shimmering faintly under the moonlight. By the time Ominis caught up, Evie was standing near the water’s edge, giggling as someone dared her to jump in. She hesitated for a moment, then reached for the hem of her dress, lifting it slightly as if to pull it over her head.
“Evie!” Ominis’s voice cracked sharply, cutting through the buzz of laughter and cheers from the group. He was nearly breathless from keeping up with her but straightened as he approached, reaching out to grab her wrist. “Put. Your. Dress. Down.”
Evie paused, blinking at him with wide, glassy eyes, the fabric still bunched in her fists. “What’s the problem, Ominis?” she slurred, swaying slightly.
“The problem, Evangeline,” Ominis said sharply, still holding her wrist with a firm but careful grip, “is that you’re about two seconds away from creating the kind of memory that lives on in school lore forever—and not in a good way.”
Evie blinked up at him, her wide, glassy eyes narrowing in confusion before she broke into a tipsy laugh. “It’s just a swim, Ominis!”
“Just a swim?” Ominis echoed, his brows lifting in incredulous disbelief. “Evie, you’re about to strip in front of half our classmates. That’s a crisis in the making, and if that’s your idea of innocent fun, then Merlin help us all.”
Around them, students were still stripping down and wading into the water, their laughter ringing out across the pond. Garreth, clearly thrilled by the chaos, raised his drink from where he’d waded into the pond and called out, “Sterling, you’re a legend! Don’t let him ruin the fun!”
But before Evangeline could even respond, Sebastian approached from the shadows, his broad shoulders illuminated by the flickering firelight behind him. His scowl was unmistakable, sharp and cutting as his eyes darted between Evangeline and the crowd in the pond.
“Alright,” he interjected, “That’s enough.”
Evie turned, her face lighting up in a mix of recognition and drunken rebellion. “Sebastian!” she exclaimed, abandoning her dress mid-tug and stumbling toward him. “You’re here! I thought you’d disappeared!”
Sebastian stepped forward just in time to steady her, catching her arm before she could trip over a root. Her face was flushed and her wide, delighted grin made his earlier irritation falter. She clung to him like he was a lifeline, her fingers curling into the fabric of his sleeve as if she hadn’t seen him in weeks.
“Of course I’m here,” he muttered, his voice softer than he intended as his hands instinctively settled on her waist to keep her upright. “Someone has to stop you from getting yourself killed—or worse.”
Evie swayed slightly in his grip, looking up at him with a mischievous sparkle in her eyes. “You’re such a killjoy, Sebastian,” she teased, her words slurring just enough to make him huff a quiet laugh. “You and Ominis. Ruining my fun.”
“Yes, we’re absolute tyrants,” Sebastian said dryly, though his words lacked any sharpness. It was impossible to stay annoyed with her when she looked at him like that—like he was the best part of her night. “Terrible, fun-hating monsters here to save you from your own drunken chaos.”
“Dreadful,” Ominis added from her other side, his tone deadpan. “We should be ashamed of ourselves.”
Sebastian tightened his hold as Evie laughed, her head tilting back as if the situation was the funniest thing she’d ever heard. The sound was unrestrained, warm, and far too infectious for his liking.
“You’re both the worst,” she said with a dramatic pout, though her grin quickly returned as she leaned heavily against Sebastian, resting her forehead briefly against his shoulder. “But I’m so glad you’re here. I missed you.”
He froze, his breath catching in his throat. It was a simple, drunken admission, but it tugged at something deep inside him. He cleared his throat, forcing a smirk to mask the sudden warmth spreading through his chest. “I've been around all night, Evie.”
“Nope,” she insisted, pulling back to look at him, her lips forming a playful pout. “Not properly. And now you’re here.” Her hands tightened on his shirt, as if to prove her point. “Right here.”
Sebastian froze for a moment, caught completely off guard by the way Evie nestled against him. Her forehead pressed into his shoulder, and her warm breath ghosted through the thin fabric of his shirt, sending an unsteady jolt down his spine. His usual quick wit faltered, leaving him standing there like a statue while Ominis snickered quietly beside him.
“Comfortable, Sterling?” Ominis asked, raising an eyebrow.
Evie shifted, her cheek brushing against the curve of Sebastian's shoulder. “Mmhmm,” she hummed, her voice sleepy now. “Warm... safe.”
Sebastian’s chest tightened, a mix of pride and something deeper swelling in him. Merlin, she had no idea what she was doing to him, did she?
“You’re insufferable when you’re drunk, you know that?” he said softly.
“You’re insufferable all the time,” she countered, lifting her head just enough to glare up at him with glassy, half-lidded eyes.
Sebastian chuckled, the sound low and rumbling, and shook his head. “Fair enough.”
Ominis let out a long-suffering sigh. “If you two are done flirting—”
“We’re not flirting,” they said in unison, though the protest sounded far too rehearsed to be convincing.
“Of course not,” Ominis replied with a smirk. “Now, can we please get her sitting down before she passes out on the spot?”
“Good idea,” Sebastian muttered, guiding Evie toward one of the empty blankets near the bonfire. The warmth of the flames was a welcome contrast to the cool night air, and Evie’s shivers began to subside as soon as they settled her down.
She leaned back against Sebastian as if it were the most natural thing in the world, her head resting against his shoulder. His arm automatically curled around her, holding her steady.
“Here,” Ominis said, kneeling beside them and offering her a flask of water. “Drink this. Slowly.”
Evie blinked at the flask like it was some foreign object, then took it with both hands, her fingers brushing Ominis’s briefly. “Thanks,” she murmured, her voice quieter now.
As she drank, Ominis leaned closer to Sebastian, his voice low enough that Evie wouldn’t hear. “She’ll be fine, but you might not survive this.”
Sebastian gave him a sharp look, his jaw tightening. “What’s that supposed to mean?”
Ominis smirked, tilting his head as if to say, You know exactly what it means.
“Just keep her out of the pond,” Ominis said simply, straightening up and brushing his hands against his robes. “I’m going to find Natty. Between the two of us we should be able to make sure nobody drowns.”
Sebastian nodded absently, his focus already back on Evie, who had tilted her head to look up at him again. “Are you leaving?” she asked Ominis, her voice faintly disappointed.
“Just for a bit,” he replied with a rare smile. “You’re in... capable hands.”
As Ominis disappeared into the crowd, Evie turned her gaze back to Sebastian, her brows knitting together slightly. “You’re not going to let me go swimming, are you?”
“Not a chance,” he said firmly, though his smirk softened into something almost affectionate. “You’re stuck with me.”
Her lips curved into a faint smile, and she shifted closer, resting her head against his chest. “Good,” she murmured, her words barely audible over the crackling of the fire.
Sebastian swallowed hard, his heart pounding against his ribs as he stared down at her. For once, he didn’t have a clever comeback. Instead, he let his chin rest lightly atop her head, closing his eyes briefly as the firelight danced around them.

Evangeline woke slowly, her head pounding with every thud of her heartbeat. A faint groan escaped her lips as she shifted, burying her face into the pillow. It smelled faintly of cedar and something else—something warm and comforting, though she couldn’t place it through the haze of her hangover.
Where am I?
The question floated through her mind as she blinked against the sunlight streaming through the window. The room was small but cozy, with small nightstand and sheer, lacy curtains.
Feldcroft. My bedroom in Feldcroft.
Evie sat up too quickly, immediately regretting it as a sharp pain shot through her skull. She groaned again, clutching her head and squeezing her eyes shut. The pounding in her temples was relentless, each throb a cruel reminder of the drinks she’d downed the night before.
What happened? How did I get here?
Fragments of the party drifted back to her in disjointed pieces—the bonfire, Garreth’s antics, the ridiculous feathered hat, the pond… Sebastian.
Sebastian.
Her cheeks warmed as blurry memories surfaced: his arm around her, the way he’d steadied her when she swayed, the tender way he’d kept her from making a fool of herself. For a fleeting moment, the thought brought a strange comfort. Then, faint voices from outside the room shattered the quiet, pulling her back to reality.
“—reckless, Sebastian,” Ominis said sharply, his voice tinged with anger. “What were you thinking?”
“I wasn’t,” Sebastian replied, his voice quieter, heavy with guilt. “I know I screwed up.”
“You left her there alone!” Ominis snapped, cutting him off. “Anything could have happened to her. And then you went and—”
“I know!” Sebastian interrupted, his frustration bubbling to the surface. “You don’t think I feel terrible about it?”
“Terrible doesn’t undo it, does it? She trusted you, and you went off to—Merlin, Sebastian! You snogged a fifth-year Gryffindor in front of everyone after she passed out!”
“Keep it down. She doesn’t need to wake up to us fighting,” Sebastian muttered.
“She’ll wake up to more than this,” Ominis snapped. “The whole party saw. You think people won’t talk?"
The words slammed into her, each syllable cutting deeper than the last. Her fingers tightened in the bedsheets as her memories sharpened, replaying every moment of the previous night—the way he’d teased her, steadied her, looked at her like she was the only thing in the world that mattered.
“If you must know, I’ve been trying to figure out how to convince you to fall madly in love with me before the year’s out.”
It had felt real. For a fleeting, hazy moment, she’d let herself believe that maybe there was something more to his words, that maybe the possessiveness in his gaze wasn’t just Sebastian being Sebastian but something deeper.
But of course, as she’d always suspected deep down, it had never meant anything.
Her face burned with humiliation, her stomach churning as the ache in her chest deepened. She squeezed her eyes shut, willing the tears away. What had she expected?
The voices outside the room continued, muffled but distinct enough for her to piece together their conversation.
“You’re going to have to face her,” Ominis said sharply. “You can’t just act like nothing happened.”
“I don’t even know what to say," Sebastian replied, his voice heavy with frustration.
“You might want to start with an apology,” Ominis snapped. “For once in your life, stop thinking about yourself and consider how she feels.”
Sebastian’s silence was deafening, and Evie’s chest tightened further. She didn’t want to hear more. She didn’t want to know how he’d justify it, how he’d downplay it, how he’d twist the truth to make it seem like less than it was.
“You don’t care," she told herself, forcing the words into her mind like a shield. "You don’t care.”
But the sting in her chest, the way her hands trembled as she gripped the bedpost, betrayed her.
He'd left her there, alone by the fire, vulnerable and unconscious, like a discarded afterthought. Something could have happened to her. Anything. And yet, he hadn’t stayed. He hadn’t cared enough to ensure she was safe.
Her mind spiraled, replaying the moment over and over: the warmth of his arm around her, the steadying presence she’d trusted implicitly. How easily he’d abandoned her, slipping away to find someone else—to kiss someone else. The ache in her chest deepened, an unbearable weight pressing against her ribs. It wasn’t just the kiss, though the thought of it burned hot and sharp. It was the carelessness of it all, the way he’d left her behind as if she didn’t matter.
With a deep breath, she stood and smoothed the fabric of her dress. Her legs wobbled slightly, and the room swayed for a moment as the hangover reminded her of its presence. But she steadied herself, squaring her shoulders as she reached for the door.
She didn’t know what she’d say when she saw him. Maybe nothing. Maybe everything. But she couldn’t hide in here.
As she opened the door and stepped into the hallway, the voices stopped abruptly. Both boys turned to look at her—Ominis with a flicker of concern, Sebastian with guilt. For a moment, the weight of their gazes made her hesitate, but she quickly pushed it aside, holding her head high.
“Evie—” Sebastian started, his voice soft, almost pleading.
“Don’t,” she said sharply, her voice more brittle than she’d intended. Her gaze locked on his, her jaw tightening as she took a step forward. “Just don’t.”
Sebastian’s mouth opened, then closed it, his expression crumbling.
“I need some air,” she said, cutting him off before he could say anything. Her voice wavered slightly, but she forced herself to keep it steady. “Don’t follow me.”
Without waiting for a response, she brushed past them, her footsteps brisk as she headed for the door. The sunlight outside was blinding, and the warm summer air hit her like a wall, but she didn’t stop. She couldn’t stop. Not until she was far enough away to breathe again.
He was never yours, she reminded herself as she walked, her hands shaking at her sides. And he never will be.

✨ Hogtober Day 9: Poppy and her unlikely French bestie!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
🦋 Below the cut: a short excerpt of Poppy leading a gang of angry Hufflepuff's to accost a certain Slytherin boy for being an idiot to a certain Ravenclaw girlie. Featuring cameos by some of my favourites: Gibby @galaxiasgreen , Siobhan @sloanesallow and Lory @lorriiraine.
No sooner had he set foot beyond the wrought iron snakes that guarded the common room entrance than he was set upon by a gang of angry Hufflepuff's.
'Sebastian Sallow, you heartless brute!'
Flanked on either side by several of Aurélie's new friends, Poppy Sweeting marched toward him with a scowl that ought not to have intimidated him given she was several good inches shorter than he.
'Poppy —' he began, shrinking against the wall.
'Don't Poppy me!' She leered up at him, hands on her hips. 'You've got some explaining to do!'
Several pairs of shrewd eyes narrowed on him: Gibby, her blonde pigtails done up in blue ribbons, seemingly unaware that one of them was coming loose; Siobhan, casting anxious glances over her shoulder every few seconds; and a pink-haired girl he knew only as Lory, who wore a large pair of pumpkin-shaped earrings though Halloween was almost a month past. Sebastian gulped; a singular angry Hufflepuff was fairly easy to deal with, but a group of them was an entirely different situation.
'Me?' Sebastian raised his palms while Ominis snickered beside him. 'What have I done?'
A murmur of distinctly unhappy badger sounds ran through the small but angry assemblage.
'Aurélie isn't helping with the Thestrals any more!' Poppy accused.
'She hasn't spoken a word to us in days!' Lory exclaimed.
'She won't eat!' Gibby cried.
'Right,' Sebastian scoffed. 'And you all assume this has something to do with me?'
Four angry girls threw their hands up in exasperation.
'Why are boys always so —'
'— thought you were supposed to be smart!'
'— and after all the sweets I've given you!'
Sebastian flapped his hands for silence, wary of the crowd of curious onlookers that was starting to gather around them. 'Alright, alright! Bloody hell, keep your hair on, will you?'
Inclined to roguery as he was, Sebastian had been shouted at by a great many people throughout his life: his sister, his uncle, Ominis, almost every Professor, almost every school portrait, both the Ravenclaw door knocker and the Gryffindor Fat Lady, and even a lone tree on the outskirts of the Forbidden Forest who he'd sworn had called him a 'lumbering lout' — but being shouted at by a collective of five-foot-nothing, flower-wearing, sweet-eating Hufflepuff's was a novel experience.
'Up until last week, you were drawn to her like a salamander to fire,' scolded Poppy, regarding him less like a salamander and more like a dung beetle. 'Now you don't even sit with her in class. What happened?' Her eyes narrowed dangerously. 'You've lost interest?'
'What?' Sebastian spluttered. 'No, I —'
'You broke up with her?'
'Broke up?' His voice rose as high as his eyebrows. 'Poppy, we weren't even —'
'Then what?' she demanded amid a chorus of fervent nods and angry mutterings. 'Why is she so sad?'
Sebastian raked his hands through his hair.
'She doesn't return my... sentiments,' he muttered to his feet. 'She made that very clear.'
But rather than sympathy, Sebastian was met with another collective groan.
'You can't seriously be so clueless —'
'— should be forced to take lessons in self-awareness!'
'— slaving away in the kitchens and this is how you thank me?'
'Ominis, help me.' Sebastian threw a sideways glance at his suddenly stoic friend, but Ominis, the bastard, only chuckled, 'Help? But you're handling this so well on your own, Sebastian.'
Sebastian turned back to the group. 'Listen,' he implored, 'she doesn't want to see me any more, alright? She told me herself. This was her decision, not mine.'
Poppy drew herself up; Sebastian gulped. 'Oh, it was her decision, was it? And do you think she's in the right frame of mind to make rational decisions? Hm?'
'No, but —'
'Does she look happy about it, do you think?'
'Poppy —'
'Does she?'
'Not every decision leads to happiness!'
'Then it's the wrong decision!'
'Bloody hell!' Sebastian lowered his voice with great effort. 'If you just understood the circumstances —'
'I don't need to understand the circumstances!' Poppy cried. 'You don't abandon someone you love! Especially when they're in pain!'
The truth in her words stuck Sebastian like a pin. He hung his head in shame, but Poppy went on unabashed, brandishing a small but mighty finger at his face. 'You've been through what she's going through, you of all people should understand that she's only trying to protect herself. I'm disappointed in you, Sebastian. — And you!' She turned her wrath to Ominis, who stiffened mid-snicker and fell silent. 'You shouldn't have let her give up on choir!'
'Yeah!' chorused the girls.
'Yeah!' echoed Gibby as she angrily thrust a box of truffles at each of them. 'And if you don't sort this out, these will be the last batch of truffles I ever bake for you!'

Paladin of Voltron AU - which lions do you think the gang would wield? so far ive got... ashlyn as the black paladin - the black lion typically looks for a natural leader, someone who won't hesitate to make hard decisions and brings people together, someone who will stand their ground. ash fits these traits in a lot of ways, shown in how she took charge to keep them safe in the phantom dimension from the very start and continues to give her all in protecting everybody and getting them out.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
tyler as the red paladin - the red lion tends to choose those that push their limits, stubborn and prideful, sometimes even aggressive. her paladins are usually the most likely to act on their own and react on impulse, the right hand of the black lion.
tyler is shown to be stubborn and hot-headed most of the time, and while he doesn't tend to stray from the plan- he does voice his opinions very loudly when he thinks there are any flaws in ashlyns plans. and as a duo, i think tyler would make a pretty great right hand to rely on for ashlyn once they've gotten to know each other and warm up.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
aiden as the blue paladin - was sort of tough to place, he was fighting real hard for the red lion but ultimately i put him with blue. if we go into a soft dive for blue, you can tell she likes paladins that are open, willing to follow along and adapt, and humorous. while aiden isnt the first to start a group therapy circle, he isn't outright against it either, he just is never quite given the chance to really open up about his own past. but he does follow right along after ash, ready to move whenever a situation changes out of their favor and is no stranger to trying to keep the mood light.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
logan as the green paladin - i think green looks for a curious mind of sorts, someone who looks at a puzzle with sheer determination instead of blinking and turning right around. logan is smart, that much is obvious, but he is also the one who figured out most of what they know of the phantom dimension. he was scared yes, but he still figured out so much despite his fear, he felt more than to leave it well enough alone.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
and ben as the yellow paladin - yellow is the hufflepuff of the lions i think, it isn't too picky about who pilots it, but they do look for someone reliable in almost any situation. someone stable, almost predictable in a way? the foundation of a group. ben shows this in many ways, one particular moment that comes to mind is at the arcade when things started getting sticky with logan. he was the very first to get up and start throwing hands because that's his friend and he won't watch him go through the same thing he did.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
and finally, taylor as allura - this girl was fighting teeth and nail for blue lion but i caved in because aiden and tyler as the dynamic blue/red duo could NOT be missed. i do have this little idea that the twins would be half altaen bastards who were seperated at birth. i think this could also pose conflict when they try to make alliances with other planets because she isn't true royalty. + for a bit of angst throw in their dad saving her when the planet was destroyed. EDIT: another idea for the twins, they were seperated when the planet was destroyed, and when they were about to be put into a cyropod and everything, maybe tylers launched on accident and landed on earth? he wakes up with zero memories of who he was but enrolls into the space garrison because he for some reason knows so much about space and the need to go up there because something is missing but he doesn't know what.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
honorable mentions! ashlyn as the red paladin (i thought it could be a sort of keith and shiro situation where she doesn't want it but she ends up with black anyway, i just don't know who would be in shiro's stead, mike?) aiden as the red paladin taylor as the blue paladin and aiden as allura (think about the potential ash and aiden could have here, PLEASE! just switch the flirting dynamic lance always coming on allura but with aiden jokingly flirting with ashlyn all the time) i ultimately chose these pairings because everyone ends up where i want them to be..sort of, except for ashlyn. aiden would eventually become the red paladin, taylor as blue, and i was trying to work out ashlyn going from red to black, but again, i don't know who she would be replacing. to make this work i was thinking maybe the twins were both woken up from their slumber by the team, both fully altaen.

He’s my Poison
Tumblr media
He was a Pureblood.
He was a massive flirt.
He had many girls after him.
He was a Slytherin.
But that didn’t stop me from falling in love with him.
Incident One:
Aurora was trying to reach for a book, and she was getting frustrated, when she saw someone reach up and grab the book. She turned around and saw that very familiar smirk. One of Draco’s friends, Theodore Nott. He smiled at her and handed it to her.
“Maybe you can help me with the class when you’re finished”.
He walked away like it was nothing and she blushed as she watched leave, many girls gossiping about his latest ‘hook-up’. She hummed and sat down before opening the book, writing down some notes for her Potions exam. But the image of his handsome smile kept distracting her and she started blushing again.
Why am I thinking about him?! I don’t know him!
Incident Two:
“Shelby, could you present your Niffler to the class?”, Hagrid said with a smile. Aurora stood in front of the class and gently pulled out a brown Niffler out from under her cloak. It started to sniff around, but that’s when she let go of a coin, which was attached to her hand, via a piece of string. “No causing mischief~…!”
“So, Nifflers are naughty little creatures. Unless you know how to control their urges to get any coins, you will have a real problem on your hands! Miss Shelby has created a kind of trap, but also a toy for her little friend. They like to live with their treasure too, so you could say that Nifflers are like tiny, fluffy Dragons…!”
“What?! They’re pests!”
Aurora gasped and held her Niffler closer before she mumbled, “Shut up, Malfoy…”. His eyes widened as he walked up to her. “What was that, Mudblood? Go on, say it again!” “Malfoy!”, Theodore said before he held him back. “Leave her alone”. Hagrid then said, “And for saying such a word, you’ll have detention!”
“What?! Oh! My Father will hear about this!”
Once Draco left, Aurora asked, “Can’t he go a single day without saying that?” Theodore laughed and he said, “In the Common Room we have a count down. It’s going down to zero days now”. Then she giggled and her Niffler started trying to grab her locket. “No! Not for you, Mister!” “See ya”. “B-Bye… Theodore…”.
My heart beats rapidly every time he’s near me. Oh no. What’s wrong with me…?
Incident Three:
Aurora looked in the mirror as she put on a little bit of makeup to go into Hogsmeade. She was wearing her favourite yellow sundress, with black heels and she put a flower hair clip in. Then she looked down at her Niffler before opening her bag. He jumped in and he chirped happily as she walked out of her dorm room.
When she met Hermione and Luna, the two of them looked shocked. “Woah! You look amazing! But, we’re only going to the Three Broomsticks!” “I know… but I bought this dress recently and I really wanted to wear it”, Aurora said. “Well, you look great anyway”. “Let’s go until the seats are all taken up”, Luna told the two.
Once they were in the Three Broomsticks, they sat in a corner together and Hermione ordered for them. “I was wondering… can you see Thestrals too?” “Luna!” Aurora giggled and said, “It’s okay Hermione. And… I can. My Mum died when I was very young. Cancer…”. Hermione held her hand and said, “Oh, I’m so sorry”.
“It’s fine. I have Dad and every year, on her birthday, he buys me a new charm for my bracelet. It’s his way of me getting to know her, since I was only five”, she told her friends. Luna looked at her bracelet and she said, “It’s beautiful”. “So, to a brighter topic… do you like anyone?”, Hermione suddenly asked. “W-What?!”
“You do?! Who is it?! Tell us!”
“N-No…! I don’t even know if I like him or not!”
Hermione then grew tense and mumbled, “Oh great. Just what we need. Malfoy and his gang of morons!” Luna and Aurora looked over, when she saw that the boy she was confused about had his arm around a Slytherin girl, who made him kiss her. “Y-Yeah… who would want to be… with a Muggle-born Hufflepuff?”
“Huh…?!” Hermione looked at her and then saw Theo with another girl. She finally put the pieces together before saying, “Yeah, he’s a heartbreaker that one. If you want my advice, it’s best you avoid him”. Aurora nodded and Luna asked, “Did he ask you out?” “No… he was just really nice to me. I guess I misread him…”.
“Oh Aurora, don’t cry over him. He’s not worth it!”
She’s right. But I can’t help it. I’m in love with him.
Incident Four:
“Miss Shelby, can you tell us what you smell from the Amortentia?”
Aurora nodded and said, “Of course, Professor”. She walked up to it before sniffing it a bit. “I smell… fresh daisies, after shave… and cigarettes”, she said softly before walking back. Then she held her book close as she felt a pair of eyes on her. She looked over and her breath hitched as she locked eyes with Theo. ‘Oh no’.
“Mr Nott, can you tell us what you smell as well?”
He shrugged his shoulders and nodded. “Alright”. He put his book down and did the same. Hermione then looked Aurora, who was blushing heavily. “Hey, calm down”, she whispered. “I’ll try…”. “Strange. I can also smell fresh daises, as well as scented perfume and… cake…?” Slughorn then asked, “Why is that strange?”
“No reason, Professor”.
After class, Aurora basically ran out of there and then straight to the Common Room, since she had a free period. Just before she got to the kitchens, she then someone grab her, which made her squeal. “You can definitely run!” She turned around and looked back to see Theodore stood there. “What do you want…?!”
“Woah!!! When were you so hostile?!” She backed off slightly and looked away, her cheeks red, and she felt tears come up. “I shouldn’t be feeling what I feel for you! You’re a flirt, you have many girls lining up to be with you! I’m a Muggle-born and you’re a Pureblood! This feeling… just feels so wrong”. “Does it really…?”
Theodore gently pushed her against the wall and he said, “That day, in the Three Broomsticks, you were so fucking beautiful”. “You saw me…?” He nodded as he admitted, “I didn’t care about that girl. I just went on one date with her to get her off my back”. Aurora scoffed and looked away, when he leaned in closer.
“In that cauldron, all I could smell was you and now, I know what I want”, he told her. “And that is?” “I want to be in a real relationship, with you”. His pale cheeks turned pink and his eyes actually had some shine for once. Aurora then asked, “Do you promise to be nice to me?” Theodore nodded. “Yes, because I love you”.
“Theo… you’re like a highly addictive poison”.
“Heh… good. I know you won’t leave me then”.
Aurora dropped her books and put her arms around him before kissing him. He kissed back slowly and he pushed her into the wall before gasping for a second, before he kissed her like she was going to disappear forever. Theodore didn’t know what came over him, but he needed her. He was definitely in love with her.
If he’s my poison, then I must be his drug. There’s no other explanation for his reaction. He needed me and I needed him… so bad.
We were addicted to each other.
Extra:
“Hey… can I steal him?”
Aurora looked at Theodore with a strange look and then looked at her Niffler. “What do you want Jasper for, exactly?” He hummed and sat next to her before saying, “That’s on a need to know basis. But it will be well worth it, cara mia~”. She smiled and said, “Okay. Please take care of him?” “Just trust me, beautiful…”.
That Night…
Jasper ran into Draco’s dorm room and climbed onto his bed before taking off his rings, stuffing them all in his pouch. Theodore waited outside and smirked just as the little Niffler came out. “Good boy. Now… come here”. He scooped him up and walked into his room before settling the little Niffler onto a bed. “Perfect…”.
When morning came, Draco barged into his room as he shouted, “Where is that little rat?!” Theodore then woke up and looked down at Jasper before saying, “I think I left my door open. And Niffler’s love anything shiny. Sorry, Draco”. He picked up Jasper and tickled his belly, making him drop all of Draco’s rings easily.
“Dating a ‘Mudblood’—!”
“Call her a ‘Mudblood’ again, and it won’t be Jasper next time. It’ll be me you’re dealing with, mate…”.
Draco looked at him and shook his head. “You… are fucking obsessed with her”. Theodore pulled out his cigarettes and then tried to look for his lighter, only to see Jasper holding it. “Don’t steal from me…”, he said with a slight chuckle before lighting it. “And yes, she’s like a fucking drug to me. I can’t really help it”.
“If anyone hurts her, I’ll kill them”.
