Hanadagi Hirohito from my HP/VK Harry/Kaname fic, Kuran Hiro. I edited this months ago and figured I'd share it rn because I can.

Anyway, can ppl see the red highlights in his hair? It took me a painstakingly long time with it because bucket fill would turn the whole head red cuz it was too close to the main hair color of black. So I zoomed in as far as it would go and with a laptop touch pad I colored all the highlights in pixel by pixel. I'm hoping I'll be in a position to make it more clean overall in the future.

I find it a little surprising that there's way more crossover with HP and the MCU in Descendants fanfiction than there is with PJO or other series revolving around Greek Mythology given Mal is a literal demigoddess and Hades appears in the movies. I know PJO fanfic has a reputation for being low quality compared to other similar sized fandoms, but come on, you're missing so many opportunities here.

another thing that comes to my mind a lot is Van Kleiss. I've already mentioned before that he represents trans-humanism, or perhaps more accurately post-humanism. but the way that the writers and animators get the idea across is so interesting.

his very existence seems to cause the world to go mad.

I made this AMV a couple years ago about good ol' VK, and a lot of it's scenes demonstrate what I'm talking about:

but especially the scene where he's fighting White Knight and turns a nearby tree into an EVO.

Van Kleiss represents a new age, one in which the human race as we know it has no place or role. the changes he brings about reflect this alien new world.

my comparison is not without basis. the comic series Generator Rex was based off of was called Machinima Rex (or M Rex for short), which was about the world evolving around mankind to the point where it no longer dominant.

honestly the best comparison I can give for his coming is the arrival of an Outer God, specifically Nyarlethotep. I know this sounds like a stretch, but hear me out:

There was a daemoniac alteration in the sequence of the seasons—the autumn heat lingered fearsomely, and everyone felt that the world and perhaps the universe had passed from the control of known gods or forces to that of gods or forces which were unknown. the two have known each other since they were in elementary school/little kids.

kiara is set to become the next ruler of the pride lands, and she wants kovu to be her king.

also- for context, because i'm adding in almost every fairytale even the ones with animals they are explained in a way similar to an Animagus from HP. aka they can turn into whatever animal they're supposed to be opposed to being those permanently.

kovu has saved this girl’s life on more than one occasion.

if you know the lore- these two actually met when they were kids and kiara was exploring the pride lands & the two ran from a group of crocodiles together.

because of who kovu's mom is ( ms zira ) ig he's "technically" considered a VK, but like i could see him also living in auradon because his mom dies pretty soon/early in his life and in the story of the LK

kovu helps kiara realize her flaws and find ways to fix them. a part of their first interaction was him making fun of her for "always doing what daddy says" and when he then sees that she doesn't/didn't really listen to anyone, he basically teaches her abt herself

he says that she doesn't understand how privileged she is compared to everyone that goes against her family/has been banished

at first kiara thinks he's a dick and disregards him entirely, but then she starts noticing how she treats other people n is like "oh shit.. i do kinda just do shit without thinking of the consequences for others"

kiara ends up running into kovu in the pride lands on one of her supposed unsupervised runs around the pride lands

they are in love your honor !! like this song, to me, is from Kovu's perspective. like-

^^ like imagine this is all around the time their families were still beefing and Kovu's mom was still pushing him to marry off for power and kill kiara's dad. but he realized he started falling for her and the guilt he felt throughout the whole thing???

this part - being when he's noticing how he's smiling more, nicer to her, and genuinely having fun with her while they're secretly hanging out as kids.

the red section being him denying it and choosing to attempt to move on in order to please his mother, but it never working out???? sjhfdabkud

and the purple part just being him finally admitting all the feelings and wanting to share parts of his life with her

the pink section being about how he's never felt heartbreak before and now that he has her and this feeling he's mourning the loss

god these two have me in a chokehold

although she gets herself into dangerous situations, and though he may not like it, kovu will never force her to change her mind. he knows she's strong willed, its part of what he loves about her and he would never ask her to change herself, he just asks that she always let him join her.

kiara makes a point to never make kovu feel like he's unwanted/unneeded. especially because of all the possible trauma and issues surrounding his mother, her abuse ( LES NOT FORGET HIS FACE SCAR ), and generally being exiled twice.

these two are constantly in awe of each other it's actually so adorable. like kiara gets to show kovu so many cool things about the pride lands as well as its people.

they're the type to never run out of things to say. kiara is a biiiigg yapper, kovu's more of a listener ⸺ that and this mf is the type of guy to admire her while she talking, whether that be to him or not. head on his hand n everything, no shame.

Last night I got high and wrote a program to find all of the unused elemental symbols. It turns out there’s 585 of them and it’s much less interesting the next day.

One interesting finding: I couldn’t be bothered to generate all possible one and two letter strings, so I asked ChatGPT to write me code that would do all that for me. It worked surprisingly well!

Tank Review: VK 72.01 K

The VK 72.01 K or VKK has been a Reward Tank for Clan Wars since the dawn of time, being a staple for a choice in reward tanks if you want a big German boi. but how does it stack against its immediate counterpart the Panzer VII and the other German Super Heavies?

Just going into tank comparison Lining them up giving them the same bond equipment and mods only firing standard AP and chocolate one can clearly see that the VKK (Along with the Panzer VII) middles out when compared to the E100 and Maus. Yes, The VKK and Pz.7 are the fastest of the four, but they have the lowest HP pools and slower RoF than the Maus (and E100 when it's using the 128mm which is pretty meta rn) and not to mention if you try to do any sort of side scraping like in the E100 OR Maus you'll get penned because of how the hull rounds out for the turret!

For those of you who've actually played/talked with me or have been following me for a minute know that I love the rear turreted German heavies, Hell the VK 45.02 B is my favorite tier 9 tank in the game. I was Flabbergasted by how poorly the Pz.7 played by comparison to the point that just sold it off and never touched it again.

So why do I think the VKK is the best German Super Heavy in the game?

350 MOTHER FUCKIN MILLIMETERS OF PEN

The Highest Penetration out of all T10 Heavies in the game!!

It shares the same Gun as the E100s 15cm but the Gold rounds are so SO much better. Yes, it doesn't have the raw HP of a Maus, but it has more than almost every other tank it'll face. As slow as it is with a turbo and a tweak through the mods its now in the middle ground of most heavies for speed. Yes, it's bad at side scraping like the Pz.7 and has a trash lower plate, but what does it matter if you're trading shot for shot and can pen all but the THICKEST Armor and the most extreme attempts at angling. The 279 Es troll hull armor is naught but tissue paper in the face of this god of a shell.

So many people look over this tank thinking it's just a bland PZ.7 with a E100s gun... I mean it is but that 350mm of Heat pen cranks it up to 11. Those who do know about its power always think twice about having to trade damage with it.

Well I drew another big picture where Wandie killing HP in one of the weird ways she can, and now I finally drew Jorgen Won Strange in his look after war. Yes some scars are standing for the whole life (even if it endless).

And Wandie have such scars two, but it's on her back and that makes her flying skills fall, because it's wings problem.

And as well HP also have scars, but you won't see them, because it's look very ugly and he just hate showing them to someone (except Sanderson). And a simple answer on Ask where I'm answering as Shozmon (because everybody should know his history) on VK. Yes it's still without translation, but hey you have google translator, and I'm lazy.
