summary: being a graduate student has been the most draining period of youth. you had submissions to do, projects to finish, and even essays to write. having burnout and stress all at once just makes you want to end it all, but luckily for you, you still have one task you've been wanting to achieve, to make carlos madrigal proud of you.

As rewarding as it may be, graduating wasn't easy. In order to reach for the top, one must walk up the stairs of progress that comes with numerous tasks and challenges that determines your will to reach the goal. Unfortunately for someone as chill and nonchalant as you, it was weeks of torture and agony prior to the final celebration.

You were a good student since little now that you think about it. It was just because of the pace of growing up, adulting, pressure to finish what you can't, they all burdened you. To the point where you procrastinate and easily give up. It has been like this for the past few weeks and now you're paying the price.

Graduation is almost 2 weeks away and you are still yet to pass on some of your pending assignments.

You groaned in exhaustion as your hands made its way to your face, your elbows resting perpendicularly atop the cluttered desk. It was already 2AM and your emails have been pouring non-stop, teachers asking for your progress and waiting for your response. You didn't have the energy to respond to them with what you still didn't have so you simply ignored them. You shut them out and closed your eyes for a few seconds, taking in at least a minute of rest before you're faced with reality again.

Just as you were about to take in the serenity and peace, you were interrupted by a 'ding' sound. A notification from the discord app. You blinked your eyes and sighed to open your laptop and your eyes almost popped out from your sockets to see who messaged you at this hour.

Carlos Madrigal, one of the school officers and if you were to be honest, the one you're attracted to.

Carlos: hey,, u need help? with yk other tasks and such

You gulped. You've interacted with Carlos before, despite his cold and intimidating look, he was nice to you. Though he never openly showed you care, there were times when you felt it. Unfortunately his cool but lowkey-kind demeanor made you fall down the rabbit hole and you were down bad. So him messaging you at this hour brought you more energy than the commercial drink set by your table.

You: lmao its aight im good.. i think i can do this

Carlos: Y/N, its 2AM and i saw how many things you still need to do

Carlos: give me some of the modules you still haven't done

Carlos: i'll answer them

Now if you were to be honest, you hate letting others work for you. You had a thing for your ego and it would falter immediately if you shown any ounce of weakness or failure to someone else. In this scenario though, you were desperate. And as much as you hate having let your crush answer your homework for you, there wasn't any other choice available.

You: fine

You: can you answer them here w me

Carlos: sure

And that was how your night of stress took a 180 degree turn. When you saw Carlos join the discord voice call, your heart paced even faster. As if you were palpitating with caffeine but instead of coffee, it was his voice. The sound of his microphone and audio transmission on his end made his voice even lower and raspier. He sounded like he was tired but every time you insist on letting him go to bed, he would always stay behind to help you.

And it went on for many days.

Carlos was the only one who was willing enough to help you with your last minute requirements. It lifted a bunch of weight from your shoulders, but not entirely. Every night you and Carlos would be on vc to answer activities together. Lucky for him he finished it a few days ago so it was easy to help you. You on the other hand, felt like you were burdening him but never got the chance to tell him so.

It went on for a few more days and you were finally done with your lacking projects. Carlos and you got even more closer than before to the point of sleep calling and pet names. You finally got to know more about him during these times of stress. You found out that you two loved horror movies, Carlos would often share his screen to watch a movie with you even. You also found his way of affection quite, unique? He would cover it up with insults and if ever he gets soft, he would instantly claim it as a joke and call it cringe. It was his thing and it made you adore him even more knowing that he genuinely tries.

Tonight was the night before the two of your graduation. Carlos wasn't nervous, he was ready. But you however, you were jittery and nervous, and Carlos can tell. Right now on vc, he made sure that he wants to make you feel better and calm for at least a small amount.

You turned your camera on the same time Carlos turned his. He was on his desk, seeming to be writing something while you were leaning on your right palm, staring at your hands trembling from nervousness.

"You see this shit? It's involuntarily shaking like a damn chihuahua" You trailed off, showing your hand to the camera. Carlos looked at it and slightly widened his eyes.

"You're really nervous huh?"

"Yeah." You put down your hand and looked at the walls of your room. "Sometimes I hate my hands, they always snitch on me when I'm anxious. They also look weird"

"No they don't." You saw Carlos standing up from his chair to walk off-cam.

"They do"

"I'll prove you wrong" You heard Carlos' voice from his mic, it seemed like he was far away.

"And how will you change my mind?"

"I'll hold your hand to let you see how you should love them like I do"

When Carlos said those words, you almost dropped your head down to the desk. You were taken aback from his bold move and your eyes widened. Impulsively, you muted yourself and hid your face from the camera as you ducked down to your desk and squealed.

You stayed in that state for a couple of seconds until you heard clattering of objects from Carlos' mic that made you look up. He was on his way back to his chair but he brought along a guitar with him. You unmuted yourself and showed your face back to the camera but it was more red as it used to be. Carlos then asked you a question that made your entire night even more heart fluttering.

"Send me your favorite song, I'll try to sing it"

D-Day.

It was graduation day. You were all dolled up by your family. You wore a pretty dress and your hair was neatly styled ready for pictorials and whatnot. When you arrived at the venue, you haven't seen Carlos yet so you sit on your seat waiting for preparations to take place.

While you were gazing at the decorations for the stage, you felt someone tap your shoulder. You turned back and saw Carlos and instinctively, you threw yourself to his arms. He caught you with ease and embraced you even tighter while chuckling.

"You ready?" Carlos asked as he pulled away from the hug, careful not to mess your hair. When you nodded back to him, he smiled and bid you a temporary goodbye as the program began to start.

Nervousness filled your body. You shivered and your legs were bouncing the more names get called and the more it gets closer to yours. Carlos was in a different class however so he was called first. He looked so good it made you lose all your anxiety in just seconds. The way he walks coolly towards the stage and received his diploma with a half-lidded smirk, it made you swoon. For a second you swore you saw him glance at your eyes and gave you a small wink, making you lose your composure. You covered your face by hiding to the person in front of you.

By the time your turn comes, you almost looked like there was no more blood pumping in your body. It all seemed like a blur as you walked up to the stage, faced the bright light covering the audience and took your diploma. You smiled at the camera and almost ran down the stairs to exit. On the way to your seat you met Carlos and this time, he was the one to storm in your way to give you a tight embrace.

"I'm so proud of you!" He yelled, combatting the loud speakers and music. You laughed and buried your face in his chest.

"Couldn't have made it this far without you, Carlos" You were about to call yourself insane and delusional when you felt a pair of lips lightly kiss the crown of your head.

After the ceremony, Carlos insisted he takes you out to celebrate. He takes you out to your favorite restaurant for lunch and decides to spoil you by paying for it all. It made you flattered seeing how he went all the way just to be with you. As much as he tried denying that it was a date, you couldn't help but feel like it was.

Carlos spent the rest of the afternoon with you. After lunch the realization of your success finally sinks in and it gives you, mixed emotions? You were happy that you managed to graduate but now looking back at it, you did poorly on some of the tasks and you regretted it. You regret how you procrastinated your way to the end of the semester and even brought Carlos into it. He noticed your change in demeanor and insisted he takes you home to rest.

When you arrived home, you felt weak, drained, tired. It was as if the moments of you suffering in pain has sunk in harder now. The times where you were overworked made you nauseous.

You also had your image to keep, and being weak in front of Carlos wasn't something you wanted to show. As much as you hated letting him see you so unwell and tired, he still insisted he helps you. When you threw-up he held your hair, when you were on the verge of fainting he carried you all the way to your room, and when your head was spinning in pain he scourged through the medicine cabinets to give to you. Soon enough you felt somewhat better, but not too much.

"Carlos?"

"Yeah?"

"Can you stay here?"

"Sure"

Carlos slowly walked towards the edge of your bed. When he saw that you moved to the side to make space for him, he slowly joined you.

"Can I hug you?" "You don't have to ask, Y/N"

And just like that, you felt warmth and comfort in his arms. Carlos hugged you gently, whispering soft tunes to soothe your mind. You moved to a more comfortable position and plopped yourself on top of him as you laid your head on his chest, feeling the loud pounding of Carlos' heart. He tried to look away but his eyes were stuck on you. Carlos reached out for a make-up wipe on your bed side table and slowly lifted your head to meet his as he carefully removes your make-up. It didn't take long for you to melt to his touch as the product felt cool on your skin and the weight of the cosmetics making you feel more light and free.

"You okay now?" Carlos softly whispered, wiping the underside of your eyes. His smile slightly faltered at the sight of your eyebags.

"A little. I still feel sick, sorry"

"Don't be sorry, you did nothing wrong"

"I did" You whispered and furrowed your eyebrows. "I got you to do shit for me, I messed up while walking, I- ugh"

"Hey, look at me." Carlos called you, he traces your jaw to make you look at him.

"I'm proud of you no matter what. I'm always fine helping you and you know that. You suffered through much and I'll still be with you from then on, okay?"

You closed your eyes and face-planted yourself to his chest. You can feel the vibration coming from Carlos lightly chuckling at you. While you were at your spaced out thoughts, you felt fingers make its way to your hand. In the spur of the moment, you felt Carlos intertwine his fingers against yours, his thumb lightly brushing near the back of your palm. You suddenly remembered your old conversation with him about your hands, flustered at the thought of him staying true to his word. His other hand left your hair as it travelled to your temples, gently massaging them. Carlos hummed a small tune in hopes to relax you.

It did.

It was as if time has slowed down. You were afraid to let this moment end, when you're met with reality and all of the burdens that came along with it. Now, you focused on the present. You were safe and sound in his embrace, and you couldn't ask for a better place to spend eternity in.

Before you were about to doze off to dreamland, you heard Carlos mumble those words you've been longing to hear ever since.

"I'm so proud of you, I hope you know that Y/N"

Alright, future parents, listen up

Okay, so let me begin this with a disclaimer: I love my mom. She is so supportive and so self-giving and always thinks of others before herself, I wouldn’t trade her for anything in the world.

But that being said, she can get openly and outwardly cranky about doing things for others. Take tonight for example: I stayed up until 2am (and probably later because of this godforsaken website) to finish a scholarship application that is due tomorrow. I told my mom multiple times that this was my mess I was in and that she could go to bed whenever she wanted. I made sure to say that, because yes, I fucked up by not getting this thing done earlier, but let’s be real, this is the earliest I’ve gotten in my bed to go to sleep in around 3 days, so I’m feeling okay.

My mom, in the other hand, is laying on the couch, making it very obvious that she is tired and wants to go to bed. She instists that she stays until the application is printed out, in case something goes wrong. Here’s the thing with that: 1, I know how to handle our printer (even if it was a piece of junk, don’t but dell printers y’all) and 2, my dad, who stays up late all the time, is still awake, meaning that he could help me if I needed it.

Once it was printed, she gave me a lecture about paying for college and waiting till the last minute, which I get, but godamn the amount of anxiety I already have about college is through the roof. Then she tells me good night and hopes aloud that she gets a good nights sleep.

Now, some of you know where I’m going with this, cause it happens all the damn time, but some of you are probably wondering what the big deal is. She’s just trying to be nice, right?

Wrong. I love my mom, but she can hold a grudge like no other. I can guarantee that she’ll be grumpy and cranky tomorrow. She’ll be snappy because she didn’t get enough sleep. Sleep, I remind you, that she would have gotten if she had gone to bed and not stayed up with her procrastinating daughter. And I know that I’m going to feel guilty tomorrow, but in reality, it’s not my fault.

So future parents, take notes. If you want to sit with your child through something that will be draining for you, please don’t make your kid feel guilty for the choices you make.

hhhhhh ok before i eben launch into this full love essay. i jst wanna say tht u truly are the light at the end of my tunnel sejung,,,,u make me so happy !!! Like i remember when i was losing my mind off of like three sips of pineapple cider and i legitimately felt like i was gonna throw up but then i was like … damn i can’t forget to text shannon and tell her about all this. and then i talked to u for a full hour or so while u called me a liddle babie nd i continuously whined…either way you truly have me under your spell you demon!!

okay so not to be. dramatic but youre so dreamy and pretty you remind me of rain and soft kisses on the cheeks and rose gardens and bouquets of flowers and soft sunlight on flower meadows and like! that feeling you get in your cheeks when you smile too much for too long and you get that permanent blush across your face! god that’s probabaly nonsense and not very cohesive but you have the same sort of colors…soft orange and light pink….you’re like a sunset on the beach right at the start of spring when theres barely anyone on the shore and the whole world feels really big and wide but even though youre all alone you don’t feel lonely because it still feels like the whole world(you) is poised right at the edge of your fingertips.

hhhh that also probably made very little sense but i dont care i love you so much and im very bad at expressing emotion (blame my virgo moon who hasn’t felt any feelings in over 18 years) but i still feel like always showering u in that sweet love and affection, despite the fact that im horrible with words and i have absolutely no consistency. I feel like it’s really rare to meet someone who literally changes your entire perception of the world but … damn here we are!! tlkaing to u is literally a part of my daily life its a part of who i am at this point :/

Anyways, friendships don’t really come naturally to me because I have a very weird perosnality where like. im simultaneously suffocating whilst also being very detached and it turns people off so quickly but..god we mesh so well i truly love you so much. i also tend to not write a lot whenever i make these posts bc im the kind of person who continously says how much i love you throughtout the convo (even thoguh ill ghost most ppl for a few days) so whenever i get around to writing these im like :// but what else do i say :// but this time!!! oooo i have so much to say i can never go into full loving hours with you bc you always turn things around and get me to start talking abotu myself and pretty soon we start talking about how i used to raise rocks as a kid instead of talking about how hot you are :/

so anyways firstly . those were just the intro pragaraphs im finally getting into my loving sejung essay :(( helloooo one of my favortie things about talking to you is how easily the conversation always flows ….us talking about shownus asshole and the questionable consumption of expired jello and orbeez at 3 am is most likely the more demonic things weve done while simultaenously being the more tame things…my head still aches when i remember that giagntic bruise i got from looking at that wonho+tentacles/changkyun+black hole sketch u made… god we somehow always go from topic to topic with absolutely no regard for cohesiveness and yet neither of us ever question it…we’ll spend hours discussing absolutely nothing …like that one night we stayed up for like three hours on rabbit talking about all the different mx stans and which member has the most stans internationally versus domestically and why….icons of developing complex sociocultural theories at 2am while occasionally mentioning “oh wow its late u should go to bed >:/” god its just that I always lose track of time whenever I talk to you…its like im so focused on that I Love Her mood that I don’t even realize its been 4 hours until I look down at my pile of unfinished homework and then back up at my laptop like. This was a Valid choice why would I pick ib math when I have a whole entire sejung talking to me. hhhh its just that talking to you comes so naturally and I always tell you all these quesiotnable things to which you always respond by first calling me a demon and then laughing about it and encouraging my stupidity. it’s also so so endearing that ill tell you about the dumb shit im doing and your first response is always to nag at me to be safe and take care of myself as if ill actually listen to you and clean a cut with alcohol, risking legitimate Pain… anyways sejung? queen of making me feel loved and noticed? MORE LIKELY THAN U THINK!!!!

hhhhh ok moving on now I get to talk about how. sexy u are damn….i remember back when we were first starting to talk and you sent me those pictures of yourself in that button up and I literally. I quite literally almost passed out in the starbucks while the barista was handing me my strawberry lemonade I truly almost lost it…nd right before that I was encouraging you to talk to the boba girl nd flirt nd be all spicie…but then u sent me those pics nd I was like for what reason would she have to impress boba girl when im right here … mouth open so wide in love that all the bobas are spilling out of my mouth :( not to be dramatic yet again when I know ive mentioned those selfies before but damn…those were so hot u unbuttoned like two or three of the top buttons and u looked so hot truly. raw me vore me behind each and every single boba store location hewwwooo u look so intense nd powerful im truly putty in ur hands not only would I lose my mind for u, I have already lost it

this started out with. somewhat decent grammar like I used periods and I think I occasionally capitalized the first letter of the sentence but at this point its incoherent rambling it’s the inside of my brain every time I see u or hear frm u its like when spongebobs brain was on fire and all the cabinets and computers were going up in flames and all the little brain spongebobs were losing their mind that’s me right now losing my mind over you I wrote exactly 2k words in that whole essay,,,,im so fucking valid,,,,ananywas I love you if you couldn’t tell nd iim . somewhat satisfied at being able to vent all this love,,,smoochie,,smoochh,,SMOOCHIIE

so something (refer to the song he said suits myday) happened with jae recently and ive seen fans trying to defend him by @ing him and saying that they love him which is fine - great even! but what i dont approve is how everyone’s basically forgotten about the whole matter because they had concerts so instead of @-ing him and asking him to explain himself, they tell him what a great concert it was which is also great bc their concerts are honestly amazing. basically my pet peeve is when ppl dismiss the problematic action of some people just bc they like them.

another thing is that there were some fans who started guilting others for wanting to drop day6 completely because of what jae did and in my opinion i think it is totally cool to want to drop a group if they did smth bad like??? its ur life???? u can choose who you want to like. what is not cool is pulling out all the good things the person has ever done in their entire life and try to remind others about the positive sides of the person. yes. they’re an encouraging person, etc. but that does not cancel out the bad things they’ve done until they explain/apologise. what is infuriating is just the manner some people took it?? they literally went ahead and tweeted shit like “would your parents drop you if you did smth wrong?” and “you’re seriously gonna drop someone whos been nothing been nice because of one incident?” yes. people will and you dont have any fucking right to stop them? so dont go pulling out receipts.

another thing. its also okay to want to stan the whole group even if someone has done smth problematic. like? to me youre cool if youre able to see and acknowledge the bad shit someone has done and still stand by their side while educating them at the same time its nice to have faith in your idols. however, i wont say much when your idols dont respond and/or respond in a way that shows absolutely no remorse. its cool if you want to support them too, despite that.

tldr; dont fucking excuse someone’s behaviour/action just because youre so far up their fucking ass. dont pull out shit from before either, be it good or bad. and lastly, its okay to want to drop/continue supporting them, its your life.

i just wanted to talk about this tbh,, it was nice to see a few mydays trying to urge jae to explain the whole situation but seeing as he still hasnt and couldve it really irks me :-/

Welcome! Great Things Ahead!

I'm so happy you stopped by today Hi! My name is GmaKelly, I want to work with you, help you meet not only your needs but your wants and desires as well. Who am I I'm 61 and disabled. But that doesn't define me. I have 4 daughters and 8 grandchildren. At the age of 54ish I had a car wreck that left me disabled. SSDI only pays so much. My kids were paying my rent, buying my meds and most of my food. It was a horrible feeling. So I started looking online for way to supplement my income. Then after reading page after page after page of all these different programs. Getting insights here and there. Getting a feel for what's legitimate and maybe not so much. Then I found Wealthy Affiliate UPDATE: 3-27-23 I am currently at the end of my 3rd month, and still learning so much. I have approximately 38 Posts online. I'm really excited about this opportunity. Please feel free to read any of my other Posts to get a better feel of what Blogging for Money can involve. I did my Due Diligence and searched them out everywhere I could find. I don't remember finding anything bad about them, the sign up was free and they would teach me to build a website. So what have I got to lose. So I took that first step. I set up my account and logged into the training. Sometimes it felt confusing, but Kyle (One of the Founders) walked me through each step with video lessons. So I was able to follow along fairly easily, or watch the video again, and maybe again. But with the Lessons in the Bootcamp it got easier and easier. Then I went to the Search Bar and started reading and watching videos, learning as much as I could. Making little upgrades to my website here and there. Rolling this back, Adding this in. Its an ongoing effort. I'll be honest I have worked diligenty since the day I signed up. About 1 month in I realized I had mad a grave error with some of my posts and had to remove 10 posts from my site. And then I took a different route forward. I took a break from Posting. I wrote as many posts (over 600 words, several over 800) as I coud come up with. Leaving me with an Inventory of Posts to publish. Having the Backlog of Posts, takes the pressure off of having to have something to post tonight. Always preparing new posts to replace those I posted. Post 3 Write 3. ( I did get off track on this, but I am working diligently to get back to that place). That is what happens when you procrastinate. Lesson learned everyday. So I posted at minimum 3 days a week and usually 5. I purchassed Blog2Social in order to share my posts to my groups. I currently have around 38 Posts online and have a couple I could post with some review and upgrading. Im very proud of my progress so far. I've come along way from where this Journey started and I still have a long way to go. But with this amazing program and the awesome people, I will do this and now I'm on my way to my success in life. I wanted to bring Wealthy Affiliate to as many people as possible so that we can move together as a group into our better lives. We can feel forgotten sometimes, I understand that, but the community and feeling of acceptance here is just so Heart Warming, Welcoming, and Every Person you talk to wants you to succeed and are there to answer any questions you have 24/7/365. I kid you not. I can log in a 2am, 3:30am Midnite, Noon, 7am, it doesn't matter someone is there to help you. How do I do this? I do this with the help and assistance of all of the people of Wealthy Affiliate. I followed along with the training, even when I didn't know what I was doing. pretty colors…. i fuckin love looking at pretty colors its so good!! looking at pretty art is sweet as well… and making art is real nice too!!

ok well….they have cool hair and are very nice yet also a major asshole and good at art and keep sending me stupid ditty videos

- clouds: list your top 5 songs at the moment and how they make you feel.

ohhh boy thats difficult!! im not a musical person and i dont really have a top 5 so ill just list some songs i like in no particular order and try to describe why i like em

ascension ft. vince staples by gorillaz - god its so catchy i can listen to this on repeat for hours it gets me pumped up to do things when im hestitating / procrastinating on stuff

dividual heart by satellite young - this one is so funky it makes me wanna take my bicycle and ride around town at 2am and wear high waisted clothing items

fly me to the moon by claire littley - the original is great but this cover is my fav its so soothing!!! i listen to this one when i cant sleep and i also sing it when i shower

shake that brass ft. taeyeon by amber - i love this one so much? its catchy and fun and i just… i love amber liu a lot!!! she inspired me to cut my hair short and that really helped me come to terms w my gender identity and stuff

parade by susumu hirasawa - this one is so ominous and a lil chaotic and it makes me feel…..things………in a good way!! idk how to describe it its like fear of the unknown but also like… being in awe of how big and incomprehensible the universe is idk but i love it (i still gotta watch paprika btw lmao ill find time to do it soon)

(i already mentioned five but i still gotta mention wonderland: round three by griffin mcelroy because its such a jam? its amazing. i adore it. griffin’s music for taz is just amazing in general)

(also louie zong makes real good tunes and i cant choose a fav from his stuff so just check all of it out over here!)

- mocktails: cold weather or hot weather?

i used to be a cold weather person but now im all about hot weather!!! its better for my skin and i dont have to drag heavy jackets around and i love sunshine and being able to wear light clothes and having to shower every day (its refreshing and it helps me go “might as well brush my teeth/scrub my face etc. while im at it” and that just helps me feel fresher overall)

So lately ill get high and then my opinionated ass will engage into philosophical conversations , rants, tangents, whatever the case and I’ve noticed that i have some recurring trains of thought. 1. I truly believe that Life(mine, yours, our shared reality on planet Earth, everybody, ect ect ect.) is just an Anime. Everything within said Anime has a shared continuity but is also all canon and filler at the exact same time. Crazy right? mind blown. everything that happens in anime happens in some way or another in real life. Marinate on that a while, recall your entire life or what you remember of it so far how ever long you've been alive from your earliest memory to your most recent one and all of has been stepping stones linearly leading forward in time filling each moment with what ever it takes to get to the next part. the next episode. that next level up. and none of the shit really matters in the long run. We have hopes, dreams, aspirations, real accomplishments, accomplishments we wish actually had, current goals we are working toward, important shit we procrastinate on, and all for what? selfish reasons probably. shades of immortality to have your name, your legacy remembered in the pages of time. 2. In my own personal opinion Voltron:The Legendary Defender is absolutely the best Netflix original series available to stream now. hands down, quote me. you heard it here first. top shelf......sure its not for everyone but im 26 and i love it for so many reasons. The incredibly dynamic visuals dreamworks animation studio has created, the storytelling, character development, so many different elements that keep you intrigued, curious, or just engaged in someway, Nostalgia off course, and idk what it is about watching cartoons late at night thats so comforting. Also i love outer space and shit pertaining to it so that’s a plus because opportunity given I'd love to be out there in that never ending sea of stars that is filled with mystery, wonder, and knows no gravity[gotta love that oxford comma]. If you ever have time i would highly recommend the cinematic adventure. With about 8 successful seasons now its perfect binge material.
