#two things that bug me:#One: the match up. Previous duos were reasonable and in unit. But...I think Mafuyu and Haruka never interacted in a meaningful manner#I can reason it with them being both seawings..which makes sens but it's such a stupid compromise ong#Second: I initally wanted to go with my usual two designs but this time I noticed that they actually matched quite well so ig it's 1.5#nitpicks aside: more trying things out. I was a bit unsure how to tackle seawing clothes since cloth wouldn't be handy underwater...#but then I thought “But what about making cloth that resemble radiolaria?” and threw all reason away I suppose#It's fancy but not fully it...the armor was fun though. i don't fully think the shoulderplates are that well executed but still it's good i#I do think I'll do art like those without the clothing though#It helps portray bodyshapes better like how Mafuyu's bulkier than Haruka. His snivelling runt ways were just that irresistable.
#no they were best friends first#it wasn't love at first sight#I think Vasco just gradually noticed that Machete is sincere and kindhearted and genuinely tries to be a good person#and it's hard not to appreciate that Vasco is known for having those qualities too his are just a lot more evident#he's an one person dog but when he gets attached to you he's fervently dedicated loyal caring and supportive#he's perceptive thoughtful and a good listener#sensible highly responsible and keeps his promises#does his part or dies trying even if no one is there to notice#he's learned knowledgeable and a lot more sharp-witted than people give him credit for and infodumps as a love language#their interests and ideologies overlap or at least complement each other#he has problems but really tries to do better and never takes any help he's given for granted#he always dresses well smells nice and has soft pettable fur#and he can be kind of funny and cute in his own dorky way#and Vasco sees how his presence continuously brings out the best qualities in him#and cherishes the fact he can be such a positive force in someone's life#answered#anonymous#Vaschete lore

I never expected this wacky group of individuals to have such a fun dynamic but then again, such is the nature of TWST innit

The rest of the outfit is him finding whatever he can.#and what better way to pair a lack of shirt than with fishnets?#Lan Wangji doens't have the historical cosplay thing kim has going on but he does wear cute bunny socks. As a treat.#and YES it would be electrochem getting the boost.#It's the skills for *more* than just drugs and sex! Its also the one that goes 'YIPEE! little rant, came to the realization today that when I eventually get married my mom definitely will not go. I don’t know why that hurts as much as it does. I’ve always known, like I’ve known for years and thought that I internalized it, but it’s just becoming more of a reality. I’m not even close to her but wow it sucks :)
#me begging my parents to just not vote for Trump went about as well as one can expect#as someone who isn’t even a fan of Kamala but terrified at the idea of another Trump presidency#not even like with me in mind…but mainly my brother#how do you as a parent of a disabled child decide to vote for a man who said that all Americans with disabilities should just die#how do you look him in the eyes after and say that it was the right decision#like the homophobia I’m used to at this point and it’s painful but knowing that not even the ableist shit is enough to stop it#I’m just very sad and exhausted and as much as I wish I personally had different parents#I really wish my brother had parents that were able to put him first#I’ll probably delete later today I’m just so sad and it’s a very painful thing to be grieving as stupid as it may sound#it’s also 10x more challenging wanting to just cut them off forever but losing my brother in the process idk#I look at people with parents who are either not voting or voting blue and aren’t crazy homophobes and I wonder what that is like#like she won’t be there for dress fittings or anything and I’m not even like engaged but damn

I tried not to run away from my responsibilities and actually try to do a background for once… I still have a long way to go🌸
#black clover#noelle silva#black clover fanart#Initially I wanted it to be pinker#but I was using a cherry blossom speedpaint I found on twt to learn how to make the background so I ended up using the same colours#then I couldn’t change colours with the filters bc the branches were in the same layer as the flowers#nevertheless I think the current colours also look very pretty#I wanted them to match the pink of Noelle’s eyes but they ended up matching her clothes instead#it didn’t turn out as well as the speedpaint though (first time though)#even if I could do cherry blossoms well it’s really hard to make sure your background harmonises with the character(s) at the front😭#it was also hard to figure out how the top of her dress looks like bc we literally have seen her in this form for like just two chapters#drawing Noelle every season helps me learn how to keep a character’s face constant and decide how I want my artstyle to look#still I think her face looked slightly prettier in my previous fanart🤔#slacky’s art

I have seen you talking about Dick & Dami's relationship and Dick & Tim as well,but what are your takes on Dick and Jason actually?
Like how you wish their relationship should be portrayed today and where are them missing when it comes to making those two acting like siblings?
Do you think in the past their dynamic was better?
How Dick views Jason and how Jason views Dick?
This is difficult to answer because there are like 8 different stages to Dick and Jason's relationship with various dynamics. They also view each other a bit differently depending on which stage we're talking about.
The way I would like their relationship to be portrayed today isn’t necessarily possible thanks to Jason’s integration into the family and acceptance of the no killing moral code. For me, their ideal dynamic is portrayed in Outsiders #44-46. And I know people are gonna find that regressive as hell but, tbh, that dynamic is far more interesting than the kinda awkward thing they have going on now.
Although, I don't mind that they acknowledge their brotherhood in a serious manner now. Like before they'd kinda be like, "Eh... I mean... we were adopted from the same guy but... brothers? Eh..." And now they're more firmly in the, "We're brothers," camp. So that development is interesting.
Character progression wise, it wouldn't feel right for for them to be super close in the way that, say, Dick and Tim are (unless we saw a lot of trust and relationship building between them), but at the same time, there is part of me that kind of wants them to have that older sibling bond (except Jason is closer in age to Tim than he is to Dick sooo actually let's just leave older sibling things to Dick and Cass... not that Cass is much older than Jason though so LOL this is why Dick has to lone the oldest sibling thing by himself... which is funny because Dick is technically no longer the oldest sibling, he's a baby brother now... except Dick and Melinda's relationship really hasn't progressed much sooo you could say they share blood but don't consider each other family yet, in which case, Dick is still the oldest... I mean, regardless, Dick is the oldest sibling of the Waynes... god why did they have to make all of this so difficult 😫).
