How to Take Cannabis Tincture Safely and Effectively
Tumblr media
Cannabis tinctures are becoming increasingly popular due to their ease of use, discretion, and fast-acting effects. However, to ensure you get the most out of your cannabis tincture while staying safe, it’s important to understand how to use it properly. Here’s a comprehensive guide on how to take cannabis tincture safely and effectively.
What Is a Cannabis Tincture?
A cannabis tincture is a liquid extract made by soaking cannabis in alcohol or oil. This process extracts the cannabinoids, resulting in a potent, easy-to-dose product that can be taken sublingually (under the tongue) or added to food and drinks.
Why Choose a Tincture?
Tinctures offer several benefits:
Discretion: They are odorless and easy to use in public.
Precision: The dropper allows for accurate dosing.
Fast Absorption: When taken sublingually, tinctures can take effect within 15-45 minutes.
Versatility: They can be added to various foods and beverages.
Step-by-Step Guide to Using Cannabis Tincture
Start with a Low Dose:
If you’re new to cannabis tinctures, start with a small dose. Typically, this means one dropperful or less. Many tinctures come with droppers marked in milliliters (ml), allowing you to measure your dose precisely.
Administer Properly:
Use the dropper to place the tincture under your tongue. Hold it there for about 30-60 seconds before swallowing. This method allows for faster absorption through the blood vessels under your tongue, providing quicker effects compared to ingestion.
Monitor Effects:
Wait at least 30 minutes to an hour to assess the effects before considering an additional dose. The onset time can vary depending on the individual and the product. Be patient, especially if you’re new to tinctures or have a lower tolerance.
Adjust Dosage:
Gradually increase the dosage if needed, but do so cautiously. Keep track of how much you’re taking to avoid overconsumption. For example, if you started with 0.5 ml, try increasing to 0.75 ml after a few days if you feel comfortable.
Store Correctly:
Keep the tincture in a cool, dark place to maintain its potency and shelf life. Avoid exposing it to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures, as these can degrade the cannabinoids and reduce effectiveness.
Tips for Safe and Effective Use
Consistency is Key: Try to take your tincture at the same time each day to maintain consistent levels of cannabinoids in your system.
Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water, as cannabis can cause dry mouth.
Avoid Mixing with Alcohol: Combining cannabis tinctures with alcohol can amplify effects and increase the risk of overconsumption.
Consult a Professional: If you’re using cannabis tincture for medical reasons, consult with a healthcare professional to determine the right dosage and product for your needs.
Potential Side Effects
While cannabis tinctures are generally safe, they can cause side effects, especially if taken in large doses. These may include:
Dry mouth
Dizziness
Drowsiness
Increased heart rate
If you experience any adverse effects, reduce your dosage or stop using the tincture and consult with a healthcare professional.
Conclusion
Cannabis tinctures offer a discreet, versatile, and fast-acting way to enjoy the benefits of cannabis. By starting with a low dose, administering properly, and adjusting your dosage cautiously, you can take cannabis tinctures safely and effectively. Always store your tincture correctly and consult with a healthcare professional if you have any concerns or questions.

PSA for THC and CBD users:
you can, in fact, overdose on THC or CBD, contrary to popular belief. it's especially easy to do if you're already on a medication that messes with your serotonin levels (SSRIs, SNRIs, etc.). it's even easier to do if you're on an SNRI and also have bad chronic pain that you're trying to manage via CBD and edibles (hi, that's me!).
i found this out the hard way last weekend by using too much of a CBD tincture in combination with having an edible, and had to be rushed to the hospital with serotonin syndrome.
how did it feel? well, not great. i genuinely felt like i was actively dying and needed to get my affairs in order.
i'm going to talk in detail about my experience below the cut. if you don't wanna read all that, i do ask that you please at least look through this link if you use cannabis products.
before i go on, i want to be very clear that the symptoms of serotonin syndrome are different for everyone. the link above has a more complete list of symptoms. i'm going to be describing my own personal experience with it.
the first signs that something was very wrong were the severe anxiety and confusion (both of which i chalked up to just being high at first).
then came the tremors and rapid heartbeat. i couldn't stop trembling. i spilled my tea everywhere when i tried to pick it up because i was shaking so badly.
by the time i got to the ER, i was fighting hard not to pass out, because i felt like if i did, i wasn't going to wake up. my skin was so hot it felt like i was on fire, and my heart felt like it was going to explode from how fast it was beating.
they wheeled me into a bare, grey room with nothing in it aside from a window with blinds, a black plastic chair, and a single bed. they asked me to put on scrubs and grippy socks. they gave me an anti-anxiety medication. and then all they could do for the next 6 hours was monitor me.
once the edible and CBD oil wore off about 4 hours in, i began to feel less like i was on my deathbed. definitely, absolutely not back to normal, but better.
i'm used to full body pain, but this was something else. if you've ever wondered what it would be like to be put through a meat grinder full of salt and lemon juice while staying alive through the whole thing, i'd imagine that was pretty damn close. i'm not sure if that's caused by the serotonin syndrome itself, or if that was just my body making sure i was still alive, but by god it was not fun.
i'm ok now, but i've decided that i'm not ever going to use any cannabis products while i'm still on my current medication.
if you made it this far, thank you for reading. i do want to be clear that this is not a 'don't ever use weed!!!1!' post. this is an 'if you do use weed, please please PLEASE be aware of how it might interact with any other medication you're on, lest you end up like me' post.
so please, do NOT end up like me. be smart. do your research. it's a lot cheaper and less stressful than a visit to the ER, i promise.

About the Boy Who Cried Wolf
Read the Rules as well please. Orientation: straight and yes he tried it Place of Birth: Vancouver, British Columbia Current Residence: Bailey Downs, Ontario Education: high school, college Dropout Occupation: groundskeeper, pot grower and seller
Alignment: Neutral good Traits: sarcastic, pretentious, empathetic, righteous + just, logical, rational, skeptical, nervous, romantic Interests: horticulture, botany, horror movies, werewolves, psychedelics, partying, reading, traveling Hopes: curing Lycanthropy, doing something with his life, becoming a super rich geinus with a million dollar idea Fears: werewolves, death, the dark, dying alone Quirks: meticulous, condescending, defensive, always smoking, failing to take things seriously, pervy, likes to party, usually filming things in his daily life, always making a joke out of everything no matter how serious it is, sometimes drunk, often buzzed Demeanor: Sort of carries himself as arrogant as a joke at first but now it’s a habit, aloof and detached socially, sarcastic, cynical, guarded at first, pleasant, a bit of a himbo Reputation: Sam is not as much of a scumbag as people around town like to say, but he used to be. Most of the rumors are made up by people like Trina out of jealousy after he hit and quit them or something along those lines. A lot of these antics are stupid things he did as a teenager, but for the most part Sam is polite and proper. He is good mannered and observant when it comes to reading other peoples emotions, but he does engage in promiscuous acts out of loneliness and feelings of hurt or inadequacy. He is well-liked around town by the adults who buy weed from him or don’t know anything about his underground operations since he and his father are known for keeping the roads cleared of debris and trimming hedges. He’s a helpful, well-spoken young man who always did well in school and helps out around town, but for the most part he has tried to keep to himself and keep a low profile. Headcanons:
Sam used to be an AV Club nerd, fascinated by computers and what makes them work. He shied away from it after he grew up and all his friends in grade 8 didn’t. He was hanging out with girls, and they weren’t.
Sam had a phase where he dyed his hair black and painted his nails. He used to listen to a lot of punk and metal music so that’s why you hear him listening to it even now that he’s more comfortable with his identity.
Sam works as a groundskeeper for every municipality in Bailey Downs. He recently got a gig at the cemetery, a place where he begins to see a strange creature.
Sam drives his dad’s work truck because he got in an accident while driving drunk. As a result of his injuries, he became addicted to pills and after rehabilitation he uses cannabis instead.
Sam grows weed in his greenhouse as well as other plants he intends to make into drugs or tinctures like a sassafras tree and some rare South American plants. His father is an old hippie so he doesn't mind the pot growing as long as he gets some for free.
Sam’s relationship with his father is supportive and close. His father allows him to grow weed and entrusts him with the family business.
His mother is not completely out of the picture, but after the separation, she’s moved to Ottawa to follow her dreams as an interior designer.
Sam's relationship with his mother is distant and a bit strained. She would often try and control his life when she was around and after attempting to have him live with her after an incident at his high school, things only got worse.
Sam's parents are both hippies that met while following the Grateful Dead through the States. They decided to settle down and have him in a place in BC called the Slocan Valley, a town populated by granola wine mums and lumberjacks. They moved to a rural town just outside of Toronto when Sam was 4.
After being away from his mother's influence, Sam and his father have stopped eating health food and given into addictions to junk food and alcohol, though Sam's father sticks to beer usually.
Despite having enough charisma to be a salesman, he does not like people very much or being in very crowded spaces. He throws parties to make some extra money off the rich chuds in Bailey Downs and their girlfriends, but generally doesn't have much respect for his usual clientele.
He’s no stranger to consuming certain types of media, and has even found himself going to some sleazy types of places and engaging in risky behaviours like gambling.
He prefers to stay romantically detached from people, but at the same time he's a hopeless romantic. There is always a chance that someone will change his mind and he is dreading it with each meaningless promiscuous encounter.

How Much Does Cannabis Oil Cost?
Tumblr media
Whether you’re a new or experienced cannabis consumer, you’ve likely wondered, “how much does cannabis oil cost?” This new therapeutic product has earned high praise from medical and recreational users. Each bottle of cannabis oil, also known as a tincture, comes with varying ratios of cannabinoids at relatively steep prices compared to other health- and wellness-related products.  Despite the high markup for cannabis oil, many consumers regularly use this delivery method to reap all of the mental and physical benefits of two major cannabinoids: cannabidiol (CBD) and delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). A number of factors affect the price of the oil. You can expect to pay anywhere from $30 to up to $200 for a single bottle. Here’s what you need to know about shopping smart for cannabis oil.
How Much Does CBD Oil Cost?
CBD oil has become widely accessible to the entire nation. It’s revered for its non-psychoactive and therapeutic effects on pain, anxiety, inflammation, seizures, and other debilitating symptoms. The health and wellness aspect of CBD oil commands a premium price for its symptomatic relief. Apart from its medical applications, there are plenty of other factors that determine how much consumers pay for cannabis oil in general. Katie Stem of Peak Extracts told Weedmaps, “When examining a cost analysis from a production perspective, you look at labor, materials, packaging, labels, potency/purity testing, marketing, and shipping distribution.” For manufacturers, bulk CBD can range from $3 to $15 per gram, which works out to be less than one cent to 1.5 cents per milligram. Consumers end up paying about $50 to $60 per 1,000 mg bottle, or about 5 to 20 cents per milligram.
Why Are People Paying Premium Prices for CBD Oil?
CBD oil products, in particular, offer many potential health benefits for medical and recreational consumers. People generally buy CBD oil to help them with inflammation, pain, anxiety, stress, depression, muscle spasms, fatigue, sleep disorders, and plenty of other symptoms. Furthermore, CBD doesn’t produce the negative side effects, especially if you take the appropriate dosage. Despite the popularity of CBD oil products, their efficacy has not been approved by the Food and Drug Administration. Only the CBD-based drug, Epidiolex, has been approved for medical use. In fact, many hemp companies have received warning letters from the FDA for claiming unproven health benefits on its packaging and advertising. While CBD oil can help supplement a conventional treatment plan, it’s important to consult with your physician before starting a cannabis oil regimen.
How Much Does Cannabis Oil Cost?
Cannabis oil varies in price based on cannabinoid content, as well as the region where it’s sold. Seattle-based Headset published a report detailing pricing data for a variety of marijuana products in Washington State, California, Nevada, and Colorado. The price of THC oil varied by state. For example, Colorado had the highest price at 41 cents per milligram, which was 64 percent higher than Nevada’s 25 cents per milligram. California and Washington both had a 30 cent per milligram average price for THC oil. Here are just a few examples of THC oil prices in the Southern California market: - Mary’s Medicinals The Remedy THC has 1,000 mg of THC priced at $56, about 6 cents per milligram. - Raw 1:20 THC:CBD Focus tincture has 1,000 mg priced at $87, about 9 cents per milligram. - Select 1:1 Peppermint oil has 1,000 mg priced at $68, about 7 cents per milligram. - Care by Design 8:1 CBD-rich sublingual drops has about 240 mg priced at $40, about 16 cents per milligram. - Humboldt Apothecary Relax CBD 3:1 tincture has 250 mg priced at $65, about 26 cents per milligram. - Releaf 1:1 CBD:THCa tincture has 900 mg priced at $99.62, about 11 cents per milligram.
Marijuana vs. Hemp-Derived Cannabis Oil
Tumblr media
Cannabis oil products can be derived from either marijuana or hemp plants. Both belong to the same Cannabis sativaplant species. Marijuana plants are primarily bred for a THC-rich resin, while hemp plants produce high-CBD resin with only trace amounts of THC. Hemp-derived oil tends to be more affordable than marijuana-derived oil. When shopping for cannabis oil, consumers may run across terms such as full-spectrum, broad-spectrum, or distillate. Each comes with varying price points depending on many factors, including its source. Full-spectrum products contain the original chemical profile of a strain, including THC, CBD, and terpenes. Broad-spectrum contains everything in the plant but the THC, for a non-intoxicating experience. Distillates only contain one cannabinoid, either CBDA or THCA. The compounds in full-spectrum and broad-spectrum cannabis oil not only add to the aroma, but also the effects and the price. Research into cannabinoids indicate that the interaction between different cannabinoids and terpenes produces an “entourage effect.” This synergistic effect of the plant’s compounds is thought to enhance the therapeutic benefits of a cannabis product. For this reason, many medical consumers look for full- or broad-spectrum cannabis oil. However, someone who doesn’t want the aroma of intoxication of cannabis, may stick with a CBD isolate. Hemp-derived CBD oil is more widely available than cannabis-derived tinctures. Ever since the 2018 Farm Bill passed, hemp-derived CBD is legal all over the country. If you’re hoping to buy cannabis-derived tinctures, you must live in a state that allows medical cannabis (at the very least). In these states, cannabis-derived tinctures tend to be pricier because hemp isn’t as expensive to produce.
Factors Affecting Cannabis Oil Costs
A bottle of cannabis oil can vary in price based on an assortment of factors from production to marketing costs. For example, cannabis oil made from organically grown hemp from Colorado will have a higher price than oil made from a plant grown in a state with a newer market. Besides quality, potency also affects the price of a product. Cannabis oil with 1,000 mg of cannabinoids will be more expensive than oil with fewer cannabinoids per milliliter. The cannabis industry has unique costs and challenges that can drive up the price of cannabis oil. For example, lab testing requirements can force companies to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars testing their oil for contaminants. Lab testing can range from $100 to $400 per sample tested. In many cases, cannabis must be tested various times throughout the supply-chain process. Furthermore, the cannabis industry can’t write off business expenses because according to the US federal government, the marijuana plant is a Schedule I drug with no medicinal value. Dispensaries and producers may hike up their prices to offset some of these overhead costs. Industry experts believe that full legalization will help build a stronger regulatory framework for the industry to benefit both companies and consumers.
Is Cannabis Oil Lab Tested?
Certified laboratories can provide a complete analysis of licensed cannabis product samples. Third-party labs can test for potency including its cannabinoid and terpene profile. Labs also test for pesticides, microbial contamination, residual solvents, and other harmful chemicals that can remain after the extraction process. Essentially, lab testing ensures the product you are buying has the potency listed on the label. More importantly, lab testing ensures the product you are consuming has no harmful contaminants that can offset its therapeutic effects. Lab testing can significantly increase the price of cannabis oil products. However, it’s up to you to make sure your product is actually lab tested. Most companies who lab test provide a certificate of analysis (COA) on its website. Simply type in the batch number found on the packaging into their lab results page. Buying from a licensed cannabis retailer is one of the only ways to ensure you are getting a product tested by a third-party lab. While buying hemp-derived CBD oil online without lab testing may be cheaper, we recommend you spring the extra few bucks for peace of mind and security.
How to Find Reliable and Cost-Effective Cannabis Oil
Tumblr media
Finding the right cannabis oil at the right price point can seem like an impossible task. Luckily, there are a few ways you make sure you get the most for your dollar based on your desired results. It can take a few hours, days, or weeks of research to find the right cannabis oil. While price matters, some affordable cannabis oils can be just as effective as the most expensive cannabis oils. Here are a few ways to save money on cannabis oil. - Buy cannabis oil in bulk. Larger quantities mean more upfront costs, but the product often comes with considerable savings of up to 40 percent per milligram. Manufacturers pass their savings on packaging onto you. Buying in bulk can also earn you free shipping with most hemp-derived oil companies. - Follow your favorite cannabis oil companies or retailers on their social media channels to scope out special discounts, promotions, and giveaways. - Sign up for low-income, veteran, or other financial assistance programs if you qualify. Not every company offers this perk, but the ones that do may give you a discount of more than half off if you can send qualifying proof or apply for a spot in their program. - Buy based on price-per-milligram. In order to calculate the price per milligram of a cannabis oil bottle, divide the total price of the product by the milligrams of cannabinoids in the product. - When searching for bargains, always make sure you buy cannabis oil that has a certificate of analysis (COA) from an accredited third-party laboratory ensuring you have a safe and pure products.
Will CBD Prices Ever Come Down?
Industry insiders believe the price of cannabis oil will eventually go down, but not anytime soon. The industry’s strict regulations place an enormous burden on cannabis companies in terms of testing, taxes, and other rules on the plant’s production. A variety of factors serve to limit the amount of cannabis production possible. Whether it’s commercial cannabis bans in your town or excessive licensing costs, it takes a lot of money to start up a cannabis company. Cannabis oil may never be the most affordable natural medicine available, at least compared to pharmaceutical or herbal supplement products. However, prices are expected to go down as lawmakers become more supportive of the industry. Once they remove the harsh limits imposed on weed companies, maybe then will the prices become accessible for those who truly need it. As you can see, the price of cannabis oil varies widely based on the source, quality, potency, location, size, and other manufacturing and marketing costs associated with the product. The novelty of the industry and a lack of regulation have contributed to cannabis oil’s high prices, but consumers are hopeful that one-day cannabis oil can reach an accessible price point for everyone that needs it. Minors DNI this is a mature novel.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Kid Pirates spent several days sailing and pillaging the local islands they found. Each time they docked to unleash hell in whatever port they landed on, Rowena was made to stay behind and guard the ship with another crew hand. It was never the same person as the days wore on. In between that time, she actively avoided interacting with anybody if she could get away with it. While still attending to the duties Killer assigned her, Rowena completed each task before daybreak, retreating to her space in the infirmary like a ghost. She had moved her bed to the back of the room and drew a curtain around her bed for privacy as the doctor saw more and more patients while they wreaked havoc and mayhem. Every night she stood vigilant at the crow’s nest as she stood guard, sometimes seeing Kid and the pirates coming back with prostitutes on their arms, sometimes coming back alone.
She called Rayleigh every day hoping for an update but was always left disappointed. She spent her time mixing brews, potions and other things, whatever she could think of really to pass the time. Even gardening, what used to bring her so much happiness on the Sunny, now felt like a dreaded chore having to risk between running into Kid or letting her plants die. Thankfully, with the help of her magic she was able to encourage most of the plants to mature quickly, which she harvested eagerly. She was harvesting her latest cannabis plant and she was desperate to smoke. She rolled up as many blunts as she could and stored them in her bag, along with every concoction she made. If she wasn’t allowed off ship today, she would ask Killer if he could sell her shit for a share of her profit.
Rowena was shocked when Gig pulled her aside as she was grabbing breakfast for herself, asking her for a favor. “Listen uh, I’ll take over your watch if you can pick something up for me, I don’t want anyone knowing,” he muttered. Quickly agreeing, she was delighted that what he needed was something she could give him – she started pulling out ingredients from her bag until she found what she was looking for. She opened the tiny satchel and pulled out some red berries and asked him to wait five minutes. She ran back to the infirmary and quickly ground the berries, using alchemy to bind the pulp to other ingredients as she pressed the combination into a pill form. Using air from her lungs, she cooled down the pills so they hardened. She made enough for a 30-day supply. Humming happily, she collected the pills into a small satchel and added a few joints to the mix as well. She met up with him at the mess hall, instructing him on how to use the pills and advising him to use the joints if he suddenly found himself with insomnia.
He thanked her and she went to tell Killer of the switch so she could have a day off exploring. Rowena was so thrilled when Killer approved her leave that she thanked him with a wide smile, her first in days; he was pleasantly surprised to see her improved mood, almost smiling himself from her infectious facial expression. “We’ll be here for a day and we leave tomorrow afternoon so make sure you’re back on the ship by then,” he told her.
After they docked on a new island, the Witch waited for everyone to leave before she left herself. Walking down the path into the small town, she was relieved to see that there were enough places for her to explore. The first place she visited was a small apothecary store. Rowena pilfered through the shelves and walls, looking for anything of interest. Finding none, she offered the person at the counter to look at her tinctures to see if there was anything he would like to purchase from her. Luck was on her side as the man eagerly accepted her healing potions, aloe ointments, and of course her hangover tonics. She asked him about the town and he informed her of the nearest places that piqued her interest.
Her next stop was at a clothing store where she picked out a suitable collection, thanking the saleswoman for the free wide brim hat as she left the store. Adjacent to the clothing store was a shop full of books and she was in heaven as she read the spines of each book. She spent about two hours in there before finding some that caught her eye. She walked out, bags in hands, and headed to the bar for a bite to eat. Rowena felt her heart sink as she entered, realizing its exactly where Kid and his crew had decided to park themselves. Doing her best to ignore them, she walked up to the bar and ordered a meal and drink.
As she ate she could feel Kid’s eyes watching her and it irked her. She didn’t get him, or his penchant for being kinda cool to her sometimes, to being mean and dismissive like a flip getting switched with no warning. Rowena was cognizant that this situation was forced on both of them but at least she wasn’t being an asshole to anyone. And being antisocial isn’t being an asshole, its...being freaked out surrounded by complete strangers and not knowing the outcome as it all came down to her Captain reviving.
The men were being crude and obnoxious amongst each other but they thankfully left her alone; she stayed right where she was not daring to turn around. She was halfway done with her food when the door was thrown open and she heard the men start whooping, “whores are here!” Sliding her unfinished plate back to the bartender, she ordered a vodka on the rocks and sipped it quietly. Praying she would be able to leave unscathed, she bided her time at the bar waiting for the right time to slip out.
Rowena heard the familiar stomping of Kid’s boots as he got up and walked around the bar; she could hear women giggling and flirting all around her and she started feeling dizzy from the overwhelming heavy perfumes. She took the glass to her mouth and took another sip, and from the corner of her eye, she watched as Kid let himself be led up the stairs by a group of women. She felt sick to her stomach as she realized the staircase winded up to the second floor, directly behind the wall of liquor bottles right by where she was sitting. Her eyes locked with Kid’s as he walked up the stairs, she drained the glass and ordered another one. She drained it again as he made it to the top step and she heard a door slam. Rowena ordered another glass, letting the alcohol rage war inside her mind, the same thoughts she had during their travels repeated themselves. Sex work is valid work. Who am I to judge what the man does in his free time?
She didn’t immediately notice the tall, lanky man who sat down next to her. He made idle chit chat with her, which she entertained for the sake of having literally anyone other than fucking pirates to talk to. She asked him if there was a place to get a tattoo and he smiled at her – turned out he’s a tattoo artist. Throwing some bills on the bar, she let the man lead her out and to his shop.
𓏧 𓏲 𓏲 𓏲 𓋒 𓏲 𓏲 𓏲 𓏲 𓏧
It’s not that the women he hired were bad at what they did but no matter how many times or ways he took them, or had them take each other while he watched, it did nothing to satisfy his conflicting feelings or quell his anger. Every single island they had visited over the last few days he had gotten either sucked, fucked, or watched it happen in front of him until the sun rose, and yet he still felt underwhelmed, empty, starved. It was the fact that he couldn’t get out of his own head that was pissing him off. If he could just shut his brain up, maybe then he could enjoy the sensations happening on his body.
He tried that for a bit, downing bottle after bottle in the upstairs room but after several hours and not being able to get off, he kicked all the whores out of the room, opting to trash the place instead. Even that did little to satisfy his anger. When he finally made his way downstairs, he was mildly surprised to see Killer still at the bar. He was the only one left from his crew that had bothered to stick around. He sat with his friend as the barkeep tossed him another bottle.
“What are you doing Kid?” Killer asked his best friend.
“The fuck you mean?” the surly redhead snapped.
“I mean why are we here? Why have we been stopping at every port you can find instead of going to the Island of Thorns like you planned?”
“Because I fucking want to.”
“And this has nothing to do with Rowena avoiding you like the plague?”
“Fuck her.” Silence fell between them as Kid downed the bottle, letting out a belch. “Where is she anyways? She go back to the ship?”
“No.” Kid scowled at his childhood friend, waiting for him to tell him where the Witch was. Killer sighed, bringing his glass to the side of his mask. “She left with some tall guy. Don’t know where she went but it was hours ago.” Kid blinked, not quite processing what he heard. The more it sat with him, the angrier he got. He pulled out a satchel of gold and threw it at the barkeep, leaving in a huff.
Killer called out after him, “women don’t like it when you yell at them!”
The streets were empty save for a few drunk stragglers. Kid stomped all over the town looking for any sign of Rowena and finding none, he hollered at the night sky. It wasn’t until a man left a shop with huge obnoxious signs about piercings and tattoos that Kid came back to Earth. He looked at the man, trying to place him. Tall and lanky, he had been at the bar earlier in the day he remembered. Not having any other leads, Kid walked up to him menacingly. He grabbed the man by the throat lifting him up against the wall.
“Oi! You see a girl around here, about this tall, black hair purple eyes?”
“She’s with you?! I didn’t know! She – ”
“SHADDUP!” Kid screamed in his face. “Don’t talk. Where is she?” The man whimpered and he pointed down the opposite street at a sleepy looking building. Kid dropped him and the man ran as fast as he could away from the Supernova. Kid entered the building and realized that it was a bed and breakfast inn. The old lady at the front desk looked fragile so he opted to ask her instead of threatening her that he was looking for his girl. “Ohh she’s so pretty. Yes let’s see, she rented out one of the master suites, which is on the fourth floor. Here let me give you a key,” she patted his cheek.
Key in hand, Kid made his way up to the room. He was about to insert the key into the lock before he thought better of it. He cleared his throat and ran his hand through his hair, pushing it back. He knocked on the door – there was no answer. He knocked again and waited, still no answer. He rolled his eyes up to the ceiling, praying to unseen forces that the door open right the fuck now or he WOULD start a rampage. He raised his hand one last time, knocking on the door.

all I can say is I recommend the highly rated book, by Rick Simpson,
Nature's Answer for Cancer
I don't even shop on Amazon but I read the reviews there like a social scientist. This book has the most reviews on the topic and has over a 4.5 star rating, which is high for any book on Amazon. Why is it getting high reviews when it's a non-fiction book that contradicts the FDA?
Check the reviews of the FDA, if you can find any, how many stars out of 5 does the FDA get from consumers?...
There is so much godawful stuff out there giving us cancer, I'm not even 40 yet and I've had plenty of friends get colon cancer.
I'm just saying whether you smoke or not, you are going to significantly reduce your likelihood of getting cancer if you can do a cancer-cleanse every few years, cannabis extract, or cannabis tincture is the remedy, orally ingested via capsule. I've done a cancer cleanse myself, my own mom has cancer, she won't entertain this idea so I'm practicing how to warm people up to the idea.
I've used this to heal a dog's tumors, this does work for pets, of course much lower dosages are needed and whatnot but no this does work for cats, dogs, and most mammalian pets that have received research. This is really a front line of medicine.
It's tough to see the medical industry and cancer doctors basically hypnotize my mom, and keep her averse to taking her cannabis extract medicine. It's not even psychoactive, since it doesn't bind with lipids, it's just boiled with alcohol and distilled into that extract or tincture, those are two words for the same thing if I'm not mistaken, basically an alcohol reduction after thorough mixing with the indica flower. It does give the stomach a warm glow perhaps, but it's not psychoactive the way "pot brownies" are. I get affected by pot brownies as much as the next person and they render me non-functional from a working perspective. Cannabis extract is not a blip on that radar.
Cannabis extract will eat through a typical gel-cap you can find at the grocery store, in about 5-15 minutes, whether you freeze it or not, the oil will acidically eat through the wall of the gel capsule and make a huge mess if you're not careful. These are one-at-a-time capsules, where you drop medicine in an empty capsule, close it and take it with water right away, without putting any more medicine in capsules until your next dosage.
I'm just saying, yolo and live long and prosper, the natives were the original cultivators of tobacco, it's not wrong to want a puff or two now and then of the peace pipe. I have known plenty of non-smokers who lost their lives too young...
i don't smoke for the obvious reasons of not wanting to develop an addiction to nicotine but god do i so often feel the emotion 'i need a cigarette'.

Finding the Perfect Cannabis Dispensary Near You
As cannabis becomes more widely accepted and legalized, finding a reliable and high-quality dispensary has become a priority for both seasoned enthusiasts and curious newcomers. Whether you’re seeking medicinal relief or recreational enjoyment, locating a cannabis dispensary near you can open the door to a wealth of options. Here are some tips and insights to help you navigate the journey to the perfect dispensary experience.
Tumblr media
Why Choose a Local Dispensary?
Local cannabis dispensaries offer several advantages over online or distant retailers. First and foremost, visiting a dispensary in person allows you to engage with knowledgeable staff who can guide you through the selection process. Whether you’re looking for flowers, edibles, tinctures, or concentrates, the "budtenders" at dispensaries are trained to answer your questions and help you choose the best product for your needs.
Additionally, local dispensaries often support community growth and offer a personalized touch. Many take pride in sourcing their products from nearby growers, ensuring freshness and quality. Shopping local also fosters connections within the cannabis community, giving you opportunities to attend events, workshops, and educational sessions.
How to Find a Reputable Dispensary
With the growing number of dispensaries, how do you find the best one near you? Here are some steps to get started:
Online Reviews and Ratings: Platforms like Google, Yelp, and Leafly provide detailed reviews and ratings of dispensaries. Reading customer experiences can give you insights into product quality, customer service, and overall atmosphere.
State Licensing: Ensure the dispensary is licensed to operate in your state. Licensed dispensaries adhere to strict regulations, ensuring that products are tested for potency and safety.
Product Variety: A good dispensary will offer a wide range of products to cater to different preferences. Check their menu online or call ahead to inquire about their offerings.
Knowledgeable Staff: The best dispensaries employ staff who are not only friendly but also well-versed in cannabis products and their effects. Don’t hesitate to ask questions about dosages, strains, or consumption methods.
What to Expect During Your Visit
Walking into a dispensary for the first time can feel overwhelming, but most establishments aim to create a welcoming and comfortable environment. Be prepared to show a valid ID proving you’re of legal age. Once inside, you’ll have the opportunity to browse the selection and consult with staff about your needs. Whether you’re seeking something energizing, relaxing, or therapeutic, dispensaries are equipped to guide you to the right product.
Tumblr media
Final Thoughts
Finding a cannabis dispensary near me is not just about convenience; it’s about building a relationship with a trusted provider who understands your needs. By choosing a reputable local dispensary, you can enjoy peace of mind knowing you’re accessing safe, high-quality products while supporting your community. So, take the time to explore your options and make your cannabis journey an enjoyable one.

The Rise of Weed Stores: A New Era of Cannabis Retail
Tumblr media
As more regions around the world legalize marijuana, weed stores have become a significant part of the retail landscape. These stores offer customers a wide variety of cannabis products that cater to both recreational and medicinal users. With growing interest in cannabis consumption, it's essential to explore the role that weed store play in the modern world and how they contribute to shaping the future of the cannabis industry.
The Evolution of Weed Stores
Weed stores have come a long way from their early days in regions where cannabis was decriminalized or legalized. Initially, these stores were simple and focused on offering marijuana for medicinal purposes. However, as the legalization movement gained momentum, weed stores began to cater to recreational users as well. Today, weed stores serve as modern dispensaries that are not only retail outlets but also educational resources and community centers.
Offering Variety: The Different Types of Cannabis Products
One of the main reasons weed stores have gained popularity is the vast range of products available. Whether you’re a first-time user or a seasoned enthusiast, there’s something for everyone at a well-stocked weed store. Common categories of products include:
Cannabis Flower: The classic marijuana experience, cannabis flower remains one of the most sought-after products in any weed store. Available in different strains, each offering unique effects, cannabis flower can be smoked or vaporized.
Edibles: Cannabis-infused edibles provide a discreet and enjoyable way to consume marijuana. These products come in various forms such as chocolates, gummies, and beverages, offering a different experience from smoking or vaping.
Concentrates: For those seeking a more potent experience, cannabis concentrates are the go-to option. These products, including hash, wax, and oil, offer higher concentrations of THC and other cannabinoids, providing stronger effects in smaller doses.
Topicals and Tinctures: Cannabis-infused lotions, balms, and oils offer therapeutic benefits without producing a high. These products are often used for pain relief or skin care, making them popular among those who want to experience cannabis benefits without intoxication.
Vaping Products: With the rise of vaping, weed stores now carry a wide range of vape pens, cartridges, and accessories, offering a smoke-free and discreet way to consume cannabis.
The Importance of Regulation and Safety
One of the main advantages of purchasing from a weed store is the assurance of product quality and safety. In regions where cannabis is legalized, these stores must adhere to strict regulations to ensure the safety and reliability of the products they sell. This includes lab testing to check for potency, pesticides, and contaminants, which helps protect consumers.
Weed stores also provide transparency by labeling products with crucial information such as THC content, dosage recommendations, and ingredient lists. This enables consumers to make informed decisions and select products that meet their needs.
Weed Stores as Educational Hubs
Beyond simply selling cannabis, many weed stores take on the role of educators. With a growing interest in cannabis use for both recreational and medicinal purposes, these stores often provide knowledgeable staff who can guide customers in their product choices. Whether it's explaining the difference between various strains or offering advice on dosage, weed stores help ensure consumers have the best experience possible.
Furthermore, some weed stores offer workshops and events to educate the public about the benefits, risks, and legal aspects of cannabis use. These events are valuable resources for newcomers who may not fully understand cannabis or its effects.
The Economic and Social Impact of Weed Stores
Weed stores contribute to local economies in significant ways. By creating jobs, stimulating local businesses, and generating tax revenue, they play a vital role in the communities they operate in. In some regions, cannabis tax revenue is reinvested into public services such as education, healthcare, and infrastructure.
Moreover, as cannabis becomes more socially accepted, weed stores help to destigmatize its use, contributing to a broader cultural shift. With more people recognizing the medicinal benefits of cannabis and understanding its recreational potential, weed stores are helping reshape public attitudes.
Conclusion
Weed stores have become key players in the evolving cannabis industry. These retail establishments provide a wide array of products to cater to various consumer needs while adhering to strict safety standards. More than just places to purchase cannabis, weed stores serve as educational resources, community hubs, and contributors to local economies. As the cannabis industry continues to grow, the role of weed stores will likely expand, further shaping the future of marijuana consumption.

How Digital Screens Are Revolutionizing the Disposable Vape Market
What is THCA and How Does it Work? THCA (tetrahydrocannabinolic acid) is the precursor to THC, the psychoactive compound thc disposable vapes found in cannabis. Unlike THC, THCA is non-psychoactive in its raw form. However, when heated, such as during vaping, THCA undergoes decarboxylation and converts into THC, offering a smooth and controlled high with therapeutic benefits.
Vaping THCA for a Milder, Controlled High Vaping THCA provides a smoother, less intense high compared to direct THC consumption. Because THCA converts to THC gradually when heated, users experience a more controlled onset, offering a less overwhelming effect. This makes THCA vaping ideal for those who seek a subtle high without sharp peaks in intensity.
The Anti-Inflammatory Properties of THCA One of the standout benefits of THCA is its anti-inflammatory properties. THCA may help reduce inflammation in the body, offering therapeutic relief for conditions such as arthritis or muscle soreness. Vaping THCA can provide targeted relief without the intense high associated with THC, making it ideal for medical users.
Neuroprotective Benefits of THCA Studies suggest that THCA may have neuroprotective qualities. This means it could help protect the brain from neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. By vaping THCA, users may potentially experience cognitive benefits while enjoying its therapeutic effects, offering an additional layer of wellness for those concerned with brain health.
Vaping THCA for Stress and Anxiety Relief THCA is also known for its calming properties, making it beneficial for users seeking relief from stress and anxiety. Vaping THCA can induce a sense of relaxation without the risk of overwhelming intoxication that some users may experience with higher doses of THC. It’s ideal for those seeking a calm and clear mind.
Vaping THCA as Part of a Balanced Cannabis Experience Incorporating THCA into a vaping routine provides a balanced approach to cannabis consumption. When combined with Delta 8 or Delta 9 THC, THCA enhances the overall effect, offering a more controlled, therapeutic experience. This balance ensures that the user enjoys both physical relief and mental clarity without excessive psychoactive effects.
The Benefits of Vaping Over Smoking THCA Vaping THCA offers a cleaner, healthier alternative to smoking cannabis. Unlike smoking, which involves combustion and harmful toxins, vaping delivers THCA in its purest form. This allows for efficient absorption of cannabinoids without the harmful byproducts of burning plant material, making vaping a healthier option for those who seek the benefits of THCA.
How Vaping THCA Differs from Other Methods of Consumption Vaping THCA is distinct from other consumption methods, such as edibles or tinctures. It provides quicker onset times compared to edibles, which can take longer to kick in. Vaping ensures that the THCA is rapidly absorbed into the bloodstream, allowing users to feel the effects almost immediately, for a more dynamic experience.
Vaping THCA for Enhanced Focus and Clarity While THC can sometimes cause drowsiness or mental fog, THCA promotes focus and mental clarity. Vaping THCA offers a non-intoxicating way to enhance cognitive function, making it a great option for users looking for a clear-headed experience. It can be particularly helpful for daytime use when maintaining concentration is crucial.
The Future of THCA in Cannabis Products As research on THCA continues, it’s expected that more cannabis products will feature THCA for its therapeutic benefits. As consumer demand grows for non-psychoactive, medicinal options, THCA’s role in the cannabis market is likely to expand. Future innovations may offer more targeted THCA products for a wider range of medical and recreational uses.

Budtender Secrets: Insider Tips for Navigating the Local Cannabis Dispensary
Walking into a cannabis dispensary for the first time—or even as a regular—can feel overwhelming with all the products, strains, and accessories available. These insider tips will help you make the most of your visit and ensure you leave with exactly what you need.
Do Your Research First Before heading out, spend a little time online: Know What You Want: Decide if you’re looking for relaxation, focus, pain relief, or something else. Check the Menu: Many dispensaries post their menus online. Browsing beforehand helps narrow your options and save time. Understand Local Laws: Familiarize yourself with possession limits and consumption rules in your area.
Time Your Visit Wisely Visit during off-peak hours, like weekday mornings or early afternoons, for a more relaxed experience and personalized attention. Many dispensaries offer daily deals or discounts during certain hours—call ahead or check online.
Be Honest with Your Budtender Budtenders are there to help, but they’re not mind readers! Be upfront about: Your Experience Level: Whether you’re a seasoned user or a first-timer. Your Goals: Are you looking to relax, get energized, or manage a specific issue? Consumption Preferences: Do you prefer edibles, flower, oils, or something else?
Start with Small Purchases If trying a new product or strain, start with a small quantity to see how it affects you. Many dispensaries sell pre-rolls or single-dose edibles, perfect for sampling.
Ask the Right Questions Here are a few to keep in mind: What’s the THC/CBD ratio? Are there terpenes that influence the flavor or effects? What’s the onset time and duration of effects for edibles or tinctures? Can they recommend strains similar to ones you’ve enjoyed?
Don’t Be Afraid to Take Notes Keep track of the products you buy and how they make you feel. Many dispensaries also offer loyalty programs—tracking your purchases can help you maximize rewards.
Explore Beyond Flower Dispensaries offer a range of products beyond traditional flower: Edibles: Gummies, chocolates, and baked goods. Concentrates: For a more potent experience. Tinctures: Easy to dose and discreet. Topicals: Creams and balms for localized relief without psychoactive effects.
Respect Dispensary Etiquette Bring Your ID: Most dispensaries require it, regardless of your age. Be Patient: Especially during busy times, as budtenders work to help every customer. Limit Cell Phone Use: Some dispensaries have strict no-photo policies.
Be Open to Recommendations Sometimes, the best products aren’t the ones you planned to buy. Trust your budtender’s expertise and consider their suggestions.
Check Out the Accessories Don’t forget the essentials: grinders, rolling papers, vaporizers, or storage containers can enhance your experience.
Tipping is Encouraged If your budtender provides excellent service or valuable recommendations, a tip is always appreciated.
