So when Bruce gets a little too close and Ellie is just so tired... she calls for Danny.

Cue college student, perpetually tired and overworked Danny "High King Phantom" Fenton appearing from the very shadows Batman normally does himself, seeing the situation and going off at this "clearly older man" chasing his daughter in the middle of the night.

Cue the most elaborate "stop trying to adopt my kid before I adopt yours" series of battles

Ok like the demon twins au but both Damian and Danny are the clones of the original Damian and Danny. The original Danny died saving the both of them and simply disappeared, so Ra's tells Talia and Damian he sent Danyal on a secret mission

Couple years later after Danny makes his mark as Phantom and after Clone!Damian and him reconnect, Danny and Damian clones bring the slightly decayed corpse of Danyal to the Portal and switch it on to resurrect him. It worked! Slightly! He's back in his former glory, a bit taller even stronger to. But VERY mad. Not at Clones!Damian and Danny but at Ra's Al Ghul. Apparently Danyal had a very weak spirit and heard everything Ra's said about him.

Danyal:What? When? Ok ok. So new Family. Good. Ra's not dead but will be.

Dani: Ooo! True Template is fun. I like him.

Danyal: Little one is good. How did you?

Dan: Fruitloop Godfather. Man Jazz is going to have a field day on you.

do yall ever think about bruce/batman!clone danny standing in front of his bathroom mirror after finding out he was a clone and silently tracing his face. The slope of his jaw and point of his chin. The high angle of his cheekbones and the shape of his eyes, the curve of his brow bones and the shape of his nose. The volume of his hair and the way it curls and gets fluffy when it gets too long.

His hair is black the same way a crow's wing is black. His dad's hair is black the same way a black bear's fur is black. His dad's eyes are blue like the ocean is blue. Danny's eyes are blue the same way a glacier is blue.

His dad has a square jaw and straight flat hair, and he tans and gets a face full of freckles when he's out in the sun for too long. Danny burns like a lobster and his face remains untouched. Danny has a sharp jaw and tall cheekbones, and Sam says when he's not smiling there's almost something regal about him. You would never call Jack Fenton "regal" when he's not smiling.

Sam says when he's not smiling he looks scary the same way a stone statue is. Jack Fenton when he's not smiling looks scary the same way that german shepherd staring at you across the street is.

Do you ever think he grew up wondering if he was adopted. Because of course, he has black hair and blue eyes like his dad. But having the same color doesn't make you someone's child.

Or, worse, things he's heard from the other kids and the other parents and even some of his teachers growing up; that he was the product of an affair. And that his dad was just too stupid to notice. And Danny would defend his parents until the day he died, because Jack Fenton wasn't an idiot and Maddie Fenton wasn't a cheater.

But doubt comes in with fickle tongue. his parents swear up and down that he is their child when he asks about either. That Danny just had his grandparents' features, but he was their son and they loved him.

But Danny doesn't look like either of his parents. His mom's eyes are blue like an aquamarine and Jazz's too. And they burn like lobsters in the sun too, but Jazz gets freckles on her face and so does Maddie. And as Danny grows up he doesn't bulk up or get stocky like his dad did, and when he hits puberty he doesn't shoot up like a tree like Jack Fenton did.

He stays small, and they say he's a late bloomer (and he is), or that he just has his mom's height. But he's fast and has good stamina, and some days it feels like he's built entirely different from his family. That the things they went through growing up just didn't apply to him. Jack and Maddie Fenton both had acne and breakouts when they hit puberty, and Jazz inherits it and he's seen the amount of skincare products she keeps on her side of the bathroom.

And then he hits puberty and breaks out maybe once or twice, but his skin stays clear for the most part and the problems and changes his dad went through just don't happen to him.

And the truth is worse than all of the lies.

One-Sided

So uhhh

I was thinking of more Dead Serious prompts but my mind went wondering and came up with something else.

What if Danny is dating Respawn!

So this is like a one-sided Dead Serious idea with Danny already dating Respawn (idk their pairing name sorry)

So, now hear me out, what if Danny or rather Phantom joins the Titans or maybe as a young adult joins the JL.

And what if he does his best to avoid being around Robin unless it's for actual missions. Now Robin, Damian, didn't mind this at first in fact he approved of it cause you know it's Damian. But like a cat being ignored he gets curious as to why and starts trying to seek Danny out to find out.

But again Danny is doing his best to avoid the other hero.

Damian eventually gets a crush on Danny after watching Danny go eldritch/ghost king mode and is trying to figure out a way to woo the half ghost.

HOWEVER Danny is in a relationship already, a good one too, with Damian's kinda clone/half brother Respawn. He hasn't told any of them because he knows the bad blood between him and the others. And add the fact Respawn still does mercenary work and Danny doesn't mind but knows those in the Titans or JL do, he doesn't tell any of the heroes whose he's dating.

Danny is keeping his distance cause he knows his boyfriend gets jealous and clingy whenever he comes back from meetings that Robin is in.

Okay, so first of all Dan would like to say it’s not his fault. Ellie was the one to bring some unknown object into the speeder and Jazz was the one driving. Or had Sam been driving- didn’t matter! It wasn’t his fault, he wasn’t the one shooting at them, he wasn’t the one to break whatever, he was not the one to open a stupid portal, and so it wasn’t his fault! 

So why is he now like, five years old, and why is the speeder crashed in some sort of corn field. Why is everyone- except for Jazz whose now like six- also like three at most?! And- oh fuck the door just opened and… okay that’s a kid. Like, nine at most. 

A kid and an adult, who he hadn’t noticed at first so again, it’s not his fault if he hissed at them and tried to hide his not-siblings behind him. It’s also not fair they’re apparently stuck to ghost speak for who knows how long, but at least they can understand the people.

I've been skeptical of Andor avoiding it's more speculative roots as a Star Wars property, so I'm glad to see them break that taboo with the Force healer. If I'm getting the implications right, she's one of thousands, maybe millions of people throughout the galaxy that have a slight Force gift and just slipped through the cracks. She didn't have the luck to come across a Jedi or another Force healer, she's not a space wizard or a grand knight, she's just a person who's doing what she can with what she's got like everyone else.

No but actually, I do have a whole character arc for Jason that actually takes account his Robin run and doesn't just go "and now he's eeeeeevillll", but if I could live in a utopia, I would love to see Jason just not wanting to do anything with Gotham anymore. Absolutely nothing. I have multiple of these au's but I am stating it again. He wants nothing to do with Gotham. He sees that there is a new Robin and thinks that Bruce wants nothing to do with him either. He sees that the Joker is still alive and does not want to be anywhere near him. Talia, being actually a good person and not whatever she was written to be later by whatever racist view in mind, does not want him to be anywhere near the Joker either. Absolutely not. In my utopia, they move to Singapore or something and Jason and Damian go to a nice private school and stay the fuck away from Gotham (because let's be real, I don't think Talia would send Damian to Gotham either if she has any sense, especially with Bruce getting more ruthless).

In celebration of mishamshanks(and Franky's) birthday yesterday here's a little conundrum.

We know shanks is the younger son of Figarland Garling and he has a twin brother

We know that shanks was found by the Roger Pirates in a treasure chest at least 1 year after his birth. After God Valley

We know at some point Shanks went back to his biological family met with them presumably asked some questions about his parentage and left again

Oda years and years ago tells us that Mihawk and Shanks are born on March 9th

We have no official date for when God Valley took place we just know it was 38 years ago.

As so presumably Figarland Shamrock, older son of Figarland Garling and twin of Shanks was also born on March 9th.

But I ask you what if not?

What is March 9th is actually not Shanks' actual date of birth but instead the day he was found. Yes I propose that March 9th was the day of God valley and the Roger Pirates found baby Shanks and decided to give him that day as his "birthday" because a group of guys that looked at a sweet little baby and named him Shanks would definitely take the day of an international incident that almost ended in the wiping out of a continent and make it his birthday.

And so I ask you is Oda saying Shanks was born on March 9th word of god? That is his real birthday and young baby shanks just had no idea all through out his childhood until he later meets up with his father and twin brother and they tell him? Or is it the in world birthday he has always celebrated and so retroactively becomes a plot point and the date of the god valley incident or atleast the day after at most? because how could Roger or any of the roger pirates know when Shanks was actually born? At best their ship doctor could make an educated guess on how many months old he was and work backwards from there but that feels over complicated and unnecessary when we could just tell little baby shanks that he's an International incident baby and that's way more funny. And Shanks continues to celebrate that birthday even when he learns his real one because the Roger Pirates where his real family and it's already his favorite day because it just so happens to be the day the world gave him his favorite little birdy.

So ladies and gentlemen of the jury I ask you this. March 9th or not March 9th that is the question. Maybe we will never really know, maybe (probably) oda doesn't even care and it really doesn't matter. AND MAYBE I am thinking really hard about a day Oda assigned to shanks because the kanji matched his name. But whose to say ladies and gentlemen who is to say.

My second favorite cute mishanks birthday headcanon is that Mihawk didn't have a birthday because no one had ever bothered to celebrate it or he was never really round people and so he just didn't know when he was born and he tells this so casually to Shanks who is so aghast at this fact, and so enamored by this absolute little weirdo that his heart aches for him and he decides to share his and thus Mishanks same birthday was born adorable.

But forever my favorite birthday headcanon is that Shanks will do anything to have them celebrate together and Mihawk always indulges him (and yes shanks is definitely a birthday week kinda guy but he leaves the last day their actual birthday to do anything mihawk wants) And they always send each other little gifts even during the divorce era no matter where they are in the world no matter the distance or bad blood between them every year on march 9th they open a gift from the other. ohhh my heart 😭

They have whole ass arguments in arabic - all three of them - as damian AND nasra drag danny to the closest soft horizontal surface. Danny had though long and hard about this. He was ready to tell his parents the truth. Danny needed help. He couldn’t just let Ellie fade. They were there only chance.

Ellie had destabilized again. She needed help. Asking vlad meant he’d have to agree to disown his dad. Danny loved his parents and would never be Vlads son. He had no options.

So he told them everything. About the fruitloop, the portal, the ghosts, and Ellie. They accepted him and immediately began to work out how to stabilize Ellie. They’d process it all later.

They knew they couldn’t take vlad down. He was mayor, he could bribe any citizen of Amity. So jack and Maddie report vlad as plasmius to the justice league hotline. Mentioning the cloning, the overshadowing of the town to become mayor, and about the hidden cameras sprinkled around town.

That’s all they could do while they stabilized their soon to be daughter.
