Could you come up with relationship ideas for Naruto in a sugar baby arrangement with each of the clan kids parents? Feel free to phone a friend (hobgoblinlife I’m looking at you boo) because I have no idea what the relationship would look like for some of them.

Tbh when I was thinking of sugar daddies my first thought was Inoichi as he just gives that sort of vibe. Also I refuse to conceptualize Hiashi because he frankly makes me big angry but HIZASHI on the other hand. This also made me realize how few of the moms are actually named like they truly just exist to fill space and that is a damn shame. Give me the milfs cowards.

But!

Inoichi - Extravagance at every corner but also is very insistent on paying for things like therapy and doctors visits as well. Praise all the time. Loves seeing Naruto in heels. Might psychoanalyze during sex. Definite bdsm dynamics too.

Hizashi - tbh loves being able to take care of someone rather than being seen as “fragile” due to his illness. Also very much leans into the finery aspect of things (he’s a Hyuga he can’t not make sure that Naruto is draped in fine silk with pretty delicate little jewelry). Adores seeing Naruto in more traditional looks. Pleasure dom 100% though if Naruto catches him at the right moment he will let Naru ride him for hours.

Choza - His love language is food and it shows. Another one that will absolutely fill Naruto’s fridge but he goes a step farther by “teaching” naruto how to cook (somehow Naruto always ends up distracted). Aprons. Man has a weakness for frilly little aprons. Incredibly physically affectionate which is perfect for Naruto’s touch starved ass.

Mikoto - MILF. Loves extravagance but also loves Naruto exploring his fem side. The first time she called naru her “good girl” he just about blacked out he was so into it. Domme. Will take Naru to get his nails and hair done but his makeup is for her and her alone to do completely with the chin grab to keep him still while she does his lipstick.

I think he wrote love notes when in relationships, and he went all out with like making the paper scented and stuff. But like he had no good perfume so he ended up using his horrible body spray. So like the lucky boyfriend would like find a paper reeking of the body spray like every once in a while.

Also I think he was someone who fell deep into romance because having a crush and feeling butterflies in his stomach was better than numbness. So he would pursue every crush even if he knew it would not end well because of the thrill of it. I think this sucked but I think he atleast felt like this is a normal way for life to suck.

Annual reminder that Aang wasn't a terrible dad, that one episode was badly written and had poor perspective. Aang was a busy, working dad who had a lot of stuff to do, and then suddenly his third kid was a full-on Airbender and he was literally the only one qualified to teach this baby, so then he finally had an excuse to put his family before his duties ("My family IS my duty now, suckers!!!"), and so Kya and Bumi were all "What the heck, Dad???" because they were now teens (iirc) and they missed out on all that stuff.

It was basically Aang going from "my family has 20% of my time" to "my family has 40% of my time". Still not enough, probably, but Aang could finally go and explore his own culture without feeling guilty about leaving the rest of the world to fend for itself.

I find the fact that Jamie is named after his dad really interesting, not even because the identity thing (although that too) but because of what it implies about James' side of the equation, specifically in regards to when he came back into Jamie's life. I've seen a few people mention they were surprised to find out that he was already around when Jamie was 14 since so many kids wash out of the academy at that age, and while I completely see where they're coming from, I think it actually tracks pretty well with what we know about him.

James wanted a kid. Obviously he didn't want the reality of raising a kid, but the fact that he named Jamie after himself suggests that he started off with some kind of theoretical commitment to his son and, more importantly, to the idea of his son as the carrier of his legacy. He has also consistently shown that he just... doesn't really understand how football works in general and how Jamie's career works in specific. I don't think he'd look at his 10-14 year old kid and reasonably consider the odds of him making it all the way through the academy; I think he'd do the same thing he did when he pressured Jamie to score all the goals for Man City, a team composed of extremely talented players where that kind of behaviour would probably get him kicked out, and decide that obviously his kid was better than all those other kids and the normal rules didn't apply to him.

I’m gonna need ya’ll to understand that just because a character is considered a “good guy/hero” does not necessarily mean you should be applying modern real life moral values to them. Jake is born 100+ years in the future, he’s on a completely different planet, him and his family are a different species than us, he’s apart of a completely different culture, he exists in a different social climate, he is at war, and they are fictional. Contextually all this information is so important because it tells us none of these people (no matter how moral or ethical or lawfully good) are not going to perceive what is “right” the same way we are. Because the world that teaches them what “right” and “wrong” are, is a very different world than the one we know. Automatically assuming that a fictional character that doesn’t do exactly what you think they should do is inherently wrong, lacks serious media literacy and basic understanding of fiction as a genre.

It’s like we get a girl egg with all moms and it’s now feels like people are saying “she needs a dad!!” because a male is treating her like family…

I’m all for Tubbo being family to Empanada but being her dad?? It feels a lot like there are some misogynistic undertones there. Like family is not just parents it can be literally anything, same way Pepito has Foolish being grandma. Tubbo can have the same and be family in some way to Em.

But it’s like we have an all girl family but because the egg is interacting with others, people are inserting the males into it(the parent dynamic). Which just reads wrong when a majority of the island is male relationships and prominent male families where the girls are mainly just aunts to the children.

Have your headcannons but don’t try to insert them into the canon with your posts especially when a majority of the server relationships are male prominent.
