For the record, that time everyone was mad at kanye for making taylor upset was way different than any of this, like she wasnt a target, thats what everyone ignores. She was incidental to him being justifiably upset on beyonces behalf for her being snubbed for no reason, like he was right, it was messed up
And i did think it was silly to be upset for taylor, then, even if beyonce like, didnt want people doing that kind of thing, thats separate and like if he'd have factored that i guess itd have been factored....like he DID embarass her, that read from her reaction. But taylor being aggrieved at all seemed tonedeaf to me, especially in light of the obvious backlash spiral waiting to mountainize that molehill.....and this may seem contradictory given what i daid before about her being real vs a statue BUT if you actually do your full due diligence homework on the exact significance of the statues (as whatever fash who hates korea for kpop boys existing did, in suggesting it to the videosimp moron) AND you have a working conscience or moral system beyond capitalism, it makes more sense* to be upset about how disrespectful it is to directly and wilfully--repeatedly--target with abuse and mockery a series of culturally significant monuments against inhumane abuse, *particularly if you believe the ghosts of the many memorialized victims might see or even be disturbed by it, or that an observing god would disapprove of allowing global culture to lose all semblance of decorum, or smthm, so on......all the things edgelord bubbleboys forget or desperately want to destroy, yknow...spiritual belief, mutual respect.....basic decency
Ultimately this is hood pranks, again, but different..."ha ha ha these people are animals for overreacting, i was right, ha ha"
youtube
Ok i didnt want to watch before but my gf just brought it up again and he might be getting 15 years so i had to actually watch
And so far, actually, i dont think this compares to the whole rape rap thing, this is like, appealing? He's soooo hot oiled up and dancing (good dancer 👀), its american culture to fuck around with statues on trips, is there any proof he knew the context of the statue......i guess its in the thing of, the oil plus diddy goes to places for people.....but, diddy just stands accused and people have liked his music for time...like, male strippers might have had him in rotation? This is a strip tease, provocative yes, but he's in his head about black identity and courting controversy, not how fucked up war is and how big of an abomination sexual slavery is....in a way he's celebrating his own sense of emancipation, even from concern about stereotypes and stigmas.....tyler did too but like, he didnt make it sexy imo...the underlying gesture of it isnt really as violent or hateful its mainly ignorant and maybe somewhat unkind
He probably expected everyone to be polite like people in japan were to logan paul or whatever
I heard theres a bounty on him
This is the strongest defense i can make and it just reads like i only think its a problem when its a white woman. For the record, taylor swift is not a statue shes a living human being. Shes not a symbol of a person who suffered, she is an organism capable of suffering
Eta im 11 mins in; so, he went to japan first and everyone was like "uhhhhhhh lets......be polite to this asshole i guess"
Being as close to the exact representation of black people the neonazis want = views + $$$$
Introducing nuance after that is a highwire act of trying to have and eat the cake
Like its desperate to court the audience that wants anyone to wander around asia loudly calling people npcs, but desperation is the predominant aesthetic of capitalism
That dude who punched him? Captain korea? Holy fffuuuuck that dude is insanely hot
Tangentially that was very will smith at the grammys of him
Im not a huuuuuge fan of that kind of escalated rejoinder but like, yknow, penalty box
Now the jail issue, i guess i need more info? He didnt assault anyone living where the charges were filed, right? He's just aggressively offensive?
Like, im assuming his self-justification is that its antiblack to not help him get his bag off whoever is paying for this shit, and i assume he's like this because of the traumatic socialization associated with having to win over a bunch of dirtbag white boys in school as a somalian immigrant with a muslimy name
I understand that that context probably stands out most to he, himself, existing as he does in his profoundly antisocial bubble of shithead validation........so maybe i dont even need to make his case but, like, i feel like compassionately investigating motive and pathos and stuff are being bypassed in favor of congratulations for the vigilante violence about his racist buffoonery
And thats not going to keep this kind of content from attracting new creators, because its lucrative
But of course, like with most money things, its a deathtrap
Eta ohhh that conair ref eeeesh yikes now it IS rape threats
Eta 47 mins in and he's graphically adsaulting one of the statues, this dude is so fucking stupid
Eta looking it up, he's born in Phoenix AZ eeeesh bad air........grew up on 4chan? or his fans/peers did
They have some of the worst smog in the usa if not the worst, in Phoenix

Vengeance is Never a Good Idea- For Hattafan2593
Tumblr media
I'm not exactly happy with this but I think this is the best I can do. Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy this even if it's not my best. To Hattafan2593, I'm really sorry for this taking so long but also if it isn't what you hoped. Hopefully it isn't too bad but it gave me quite a bit of trouble. Never the less, thanks sending in a request.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Alya shook as she saw herself destroying Marinette's sketchpad on video. She had just been trying to avenge Lila as Marinette had stolen her designs and Lila had been so upset by it. She had been in tears and Alya knew that she couldn't let Marinette get away with stealing her designs. She thought Marinette would know better but apparently not. However, she had no idea that Lila had followed her in secret and filmed her. She had no idea that Lila would actually send the video to the group chat and claim that she had been shocked to see Alya do such a thing. She had no idea that she had outlived her usefulness to Lila. For the last few weeks, Alya had been acting more and more unhinged. She was constantly snapping at everyone and anyone because her blog was no longer popular. People had caught on that it was no longer the most useful blog about Ladybug and that it was basically tabloid trash, devoted to either fake interviews or trying to convince everyone that Ladynoir was the one true ship and that they were actually dating. Even someone as blind and dumb as Sabrina could see that Ladybug was dating the new Fox hero, not Chat Noir but Alya refused to admit she was wrong. It didn't help that a new blog had turned up. As far as Alya was concerned, this new blog was stealing her views and likes. It didn't occur to her that her viewers had gotten tired with her blog and she even blamed Marinette for it. She was convinced that Marinette was the owner of the blog. She wasn't. Alya blinked as the messages began to come through, knocking her out of her thoughts.
Radbitsk8r: What the actual hell?! @Foxwivwifi why did you destroy Marinette's work?!
Foxwivwifi: Because she deserved it! Lila was upset about Marinette stealing her designs! Right, @modelqueen?!
ModelQueen: I was upset that someone might have stolen them. I never said she actually had. I can't believe you actually destroy her work!
Alya frowned at Lila's response. She was sure Lila had claimed that Marinette had in fact stolen her designs but could it be she misheard her? No! She was certain that she had said Marinette had stolen her designs.
FoxwivWifi: No! You said you had seen her taking your designs!
ModelQueen: No, I said that I suspected that someone had taken my designs and that I happened to see Marinette near my locker! That is not the same as saying she stole from me!
Bubbleboy: Alya, that is not cool. I can understand taking a look at her sketchpad to see if she had taken Lila's design but you can't just destroy Marinette's things. That is a crime and you have no real solid proof.
FoxwivWifi: But Lila said she had! I was just trying to avenge her!
ModelQueen: No, I didn't!!
ModelQueen:... Oh my gosh!
Bubbleboy: Lila?
Mightyillustrator: Lila?
Pinky: Lila?
The Brain: Lila?
ModelQueen: All this time I thought Marinette was the bully but I think I was wrong...
FoxwivWifi: What do you mean?
ModelQueen: Marinette is normally a sweet girl. Everyone here has said it but she changed when I joined the school. I thought it's because she didn't like me but what if it's because she thinks I'm the bully because of you!
Foxwivwifi: WHAT?! What do you mean because of me?!
ModelQueen: You convinced her to stand up for herself against Chloe but you... well, you're not exactly nice, Alya! How do I know that you haven't actually been bitching about me to Marinette like you bitch about her to me?!
Foxwivwifi: What the hell, Lila?! I thought you were my friend! And I don't bitch about anyone!
ModelQueen: This is my point. As soon as anyone says anything you don't agree with, you jump at them and attack like a vicious dog. Is it any wonder that Marinette reacted the way she did to me with you as her friend? For all, I know you could have told her not to trust me and that I was just another chloe. And because she's your best friend, she would believe you. Also you did bitch about her! You literally said to me that she had zero talent and is a crazy stalker!
Foxwivwifi: You can't be serious!
Radbitsk8r: Lila isn't wrong. You've been nothing but trouble since you joined our school.
Pinky: Yes, you broke into Chloe's locker because you thought she was Ladybug
The Brain: Which I'm not. Anyone with a single brain cell would realize that considering I'm blonde and ladybug isn't.
Gentlegiant: What did I miss?
Gentlegiant: NM. Just read it all. I agree with Lila btw
Foxwivwifi: Seriously, Ivan?! What the hell?!
Gentlegiant: You snapped at Mylene six times this week alone. She was almost akumatized twice because of you!
Alya frowned as the rest of the class agreed with Lila about how she's an awful person. She wanted to crush her phone but that wasn't even the worst thing about it. The worst thing is Lila was convincing the class that she was the cause of Marinette's bad behavior and that she had convinced Marinette that Lila was evil. She couldn't believe that they believed her. She thought they knew her better but apparently, they didn't.
Foxwivwifi: I am not responsible for people been akumatized! If anything, they should know how to keep their emotions in check given that we have a manic who feeds on it!
The Brain: What the actual hell?
Gentlegiant: Well, we wouldn't have to keep them in check if you weren't a bully
Foxwivwifi: How the hell am I a bully?!
QuietArtist: you literally just proved it by what you said
Pinky: reasonswhyalyaisabully.doc
Pinky: The sketchbook incident is the most recent thing
Bakerbug: I see I have missed something...
ModelQueen: Oh Marinette! I am so sorry about your sketchpad!!
Bakerbug:...
Bakerbug: It's fine, Lila. It's not like you destroyed it...
Chat Between Lila and Marinette
Marinette: I know you set it up to have it destroyed...
Lila: Of course, I did
Marinette: And I know we're technically enemies but... this is going to sound really odd... thank you
Lila: Huh?! For what?!
Marinette: Showing me how toxic Alya and the class actually is. Don't get me wrong. We are not friends and we never will be but you showed me their true colors
Lila: hmm I see
Marinette: btw you won. I'm transferring schools and you're welcome to them
Lila: Oh well... we're not friends and I still hate you but... good luck for the future
Marinette: You too, Lila
~Akuma Class Chat~
Foxwivwifi: @Bakerbug Mari, she set me up! She's been lying this whole time!! I just googled everything and I'm so sorry!!
Fishboy: What the hell, Alya? You can't just accuse someone of lying because you got caught been a bully!!
GamerGeek: Alya, what you did was unnecessary and I calculate that Marinette has probably been acting out due to your toxic influence and attitude.
Foxwivwifi: I am not toxic!! @Bakerbug tell them!! You know Lila's been lying from the start!!
Bakerbug: Lila may have been lying but that does change that it was you who ripped up my sketchbook and honestly I agree with everyone here including Lila. You are a toxic person and I don't want to be friends with someone like that.
Alya stared at her phone in shock as Marinette literally used the very words she had said to her a week ago. She had told her she didn't want to be friends with a toxic person but she never thought that those words would come back to haunt her but apparently they did. However, it wasn't over yet.
Bakerbug: Not that I need to be. This Friday will be my last day at Dupont High. I'm moving to a different school. I would tell you guys where but I don't feel comfortable with that, especially with Alya's recent actions. Also... @Goldenboy I had the biggest crush on you for the longest time but after you gave me that frankly awful advice about the high road, it crashed and burned. There is no such thing as the high road and someone was been hurt. Me. I was been hurt. People who I thought knew me started to bully me. I can handle a lot but after today, I'm done. @ModelQueen Feel free to send that video to the headmaster
ModelQueen: Oh I think I will @Bakerbug good luck with the future
The Brain: Go be free @Bakerbug
Foxwivwifi: Marinette! Wait!!
~Bakerbug has been removed from this chat~
~Sometime Later~
Alya walked through the street with slumped shoulders. In the aftermath of the whole sketchbook incident, she had revealed to the class that Lila had been lying to them in an attempt to redeem herself in their eyes but unfortunately, Lila was a craftier fox then she was and dragged her down with her. The class actually forgave Lila before she left for Italy as while she had lied, she had never taken physical action against anyone. She simply planted the seeds but it was Alya who had watered them and let them grow. She had gone after Marinette herself. The girl who she boldly claimed to be her best friend yet it wasn't Lila who destroyed her sketchpad or tripped her up or called her a slag and spreaded nasty rumors about her. No, all Lila had done was mention a lie or two and they weren't even about Marinette. She had never directly said Marinette's name so she could have been talking about anyone but Alya had concluded it was Marinette. After all, who else could it be? Even with the stole designs lie. Lila had actually said that she thought someone had stolen her design. She never said Marinette had stolen her work or anything that could actually view the designer in the bad light. She had known that Alya would assume that it was Marinette but that didn't matter because Alya should have investigated it and found the truth. She should have done what an actual reporter did but instead she believed a liar that had no real evidence. She had been the one who had driven Marinette to give up and switch schools. She had destroyed her friendships. Lila may have started it but Alya was the one who continued it and she would never forgive herself for that. She would forever be punished for that both by herself and everyone else. She let out a sigh as she continued to walk. She felt alone. After all, this mess Nino broke up with her and she didn't really have any true friends in school. Sure, Adrien still tried to talk to her but she suspected that was because he was in a similar boat to her. Though not as bad. People were willing to forgive him. Probably because he was never really malicious with it. He really believed that she would be caught out. She guessed they could blame his father for that. As for Marinette... Well, Alya hadn't seen her neither had the majory of the class. In fact, the only person who had seen her was Juleka. No one else had nor tried. Well, they did try once but got turned away from the bakery. Tom and Sabine didn't exactly ban them but their discount was lifted permentally. Alya hadn't gone in the bakery since destroying the sketchpad. She was too afraid of what Sabine might do to her. She turned the corner and came to a stop as she saw a familiar person stood on the Pont des Arts.
"Marinette?" She stated to herself. The girl was staring dreamily at the Seine as she seemed to be waiting for someone. Alya wanted to run over to her and ask her how she was doing and how was her new school but before she could, someone else joined her. Marinette turned, causing Alya to no longer see her face.
"Luka!" Marinette called out before hugging the boy. He hugged back and smiled at her with a look of love. It made Alya feel guilty for pushing Adrienette. Adrien never looked at Marinette like that. The two chatted before taking a seat on the benches as Luka reached down to his bag.
"I got a gift for you," He stated, making Marinette look at him. "I'm sure you probably have one but..."
He handed her a gift bag, causing her to open it and take out an expensive looking sketchpad before she pulled out some pencils.
"I saw them and thought of you..." He admitted before she suddenly hugged him.
"Thank you so much!" She gasped, clearly happy. "But you didn't have to replace my old one. Alya destroyed it but I got a new one..."
"I know," Luka replied, gently placing his hand on hers as she looked at him. "But I wanted to. Think of it as a reminder. There are those who want to destroy you and there are those who want to watch you rise. I want to watch you rise and shine like the star you are,"
Marinette didn't stay anything. Instead, she pulled Luka closer to her and kissed him. He wrapped his arms around her as he kissed back, making Alya to decide to turn away. Marinette was happy again and the truth was out now... even if her best friendship got destroyed in the process...

Doctor visit update! First surgeon spooked me with his and his residents’ contradictions, his defending the surgeon who performed my 6mo og surgery, and his cheerful promise that he could do this surgery in sixty minutes or less~! So I got a referral to a different surgeon.
The new surgeon sat me down in the chair, looked over my throat, and asked: oh, who said you had a cyst on your throat at all? Can you show me where it is? I said, I’m not entirely sure - I didn’t notice it myself, but my GP and the first surgeon said it was here, and that it was 9mm across. So he decided to go and get the ultrasound machine out to see if he could spot it better internally.
He could not, because apparently, my botched surgery as a literal fucking infant, and then the two after that, left enough scar tissue that you can’t see through it! So I have to call and get the CAT scan from a different clinic, so they can transfer it to him, he can look at that, and call me back to see if I actually need surgery.
Because his initial thought is that I likely don’t. That part is great! Less great is the fact I said - oh, the cyst swells when I get sick, and it is painful and makes swallowing/breathing hard! And he said: well, if it doesn’t get infected, that’s the only thing that’s really concerning, the rest is managable.
Which: yeah, it’s manageable, I’ve been managing it, but I’d like it to fucking stop? :’)
His second thought was that all of the breathing issues / speech issues I’ve been having the past year or so isn’t related to the cyst at all - instead, he believes that it’s just my fucking forest of scar tissue reacts to inflammation, and it swells, causing the issue. So he said some doctors give inhalers for it.
He did not prescribe me an inhaler. Or say if I could remove this scar tissue, or, like, do something to make it stop reacting, because pancreatitis as a disorder is just all about fucking inflaming shit, and I really don’t want to have to deal with juggling all of my food issues and trying to figure out how I can not have my fucking throat swell on me on top of it all?
I’m just frustrated. It’s absolutely fucking absurd that you spend money and time visiting doctors, trying to figure out what’s wrong and how you can fix this, and the answer you get might as well be what you came up with searching web fucking md.
But whatever. All knowledge is good knowledge, even if I want to claw off something’s face right now over it. I guess it’s just time to stick my nose into the books, and see what I can actually do about this, past just getting a fucking inhaler, avoiding setting my pancreas off more, and.. never getting sick again, I guess? Gerbil ball, filtered air, and nutrience slurry. Just turning full fucking bubbleboy over here.

the (un)lucky ones
story description:
“the story’s great, but I think it would be better if the story ended like this”
Affronted at the audacity of the comment, she furiously replies, “then write your own story, asshole!”
word count: 2,048
a/n: happiest solar anniversary to one of my best girls @vanaera! thank you for being the bestest friend a girl could ever ask for. this short story, which is loosely based irl, serves as my gift to you. i hope you’ll like it!
shout-out to @senfleurs for being the best gal and helping me out with this. she even stepped up and edited this omg, and i cannot stress how much I’m thankful, lol especially she made sure that I get to finish this on time
3.
In retrospect, she knows better than to let some dumb comment, especially from someone on the Internet, rile her up this much. Even her followers tell her as much: it’s unwarranted, insensitive even. One of her followers, hippopopo tries to take it a step further, justifying by saying, verbatim: It’s her story anyway!!! So only she knows how the story should end best, okay! 😤😠
(in actuality, she has qualms about that, mostly because she had read some books which she thought didn’t end well. but that would take time to unpack and this story isn’t about that, no. she’s flattered at the support, nonetheless.)
And yet, there she is at 8 in the morning, her fingers furiously gliding across her keyboard as she writes a spite-filled story in response. Oftentimes, her muse for writing comes from movies she watched with her family, or from songs she heard on Korean dramas, or those meet-cute scenarios she gushed about with her best friends. This time, however, spite’s her main gal.
She finishes at 10. Later at 4 in the afternoon, she posts it. About an hour later, she doesn’t even try to contain the smirk lighting up her face when a familiar notification pops up.
1.
The story starts with an inconspicuous like from a user named agust-d five months ago. Back then, she thought nothing of it. A day later, agust-d comments on a story from her drabble series. Since then, every day without fail, agust-d leaves a small token of their appreciation for her works; brief, concise comments such as, “nice job on the flower descriptions,” or “i liked it.”
Belatedly, she wonders if agust-d is a person of few words, because why else would they leave comments with only six words or less, even on her works with over 30k words? Don’t get her wrong, of course she’s eternally grateful for all the support she receives from her affectionate dears. But sometimes, especially on days her self-confidence plummets and she’s in need of reassurance, she ponders if all her efforts are for naught. (of course not, never, she gently reminds herself.)
And each day, she resists the growing urge to reply: don’t you have anything more to say!!! (but alas, she isn’t a rude person—unless provoked—she can’t so she settles with letting her mind wander.)
Three months of this and she finally caves in. With her interest piqued, she browses through agust-d’s posts. After two hours, she learns that agust-d goes by suga online. Coincidentally, Suga is a male student at the same university she’s currently attending. For a moment, she briefly considers a possibility—what are the chances that they’ve met, have fallen into step alongside each other, have passed by him in the large hallways, or have shared her table with him at the library during exam season? The possibility of knowing someone without actually knowing them?
(that’s the funny thing about the online world, she supposes. you may know all that matters about someone: their likes, dislikes, kinks, fears, and horrid taste in music, absolutely everything except that one thing that matters the most: their names.)
Suga, she eventually learns, is not a man of few words. In truth, he’s got a few words too many to say about a diverse range of controversial topics. In his words, his passion burns bright and clear, but for her, he doesn’t shine any brighter than when he talks about music. It shows in his blog, which consists of a myriad of album reviews across different genres (fascinating, she notes, their music interests align as well).
Occasionally, he posts his renditions of some popular rap music, and as sporadic as this happens, she admits that his covers are her favorite part of his blog. And naturally, she refuses to acknowledge that it has everything to do with her fascination with deep, raspy voices, which, (un)fortunately for her, Suga undoubtedly has.
After some serious debating with herself, she decides to not follow him back. But she makes sure to check his profile every other day for no real reason, really, her soul wallowing in denial. In her defense, when did anyone need a reason to stalk someone?
And so, it begins, her fascination with this stranger on the other side of the screen. Never in her whole life did she imagine herself harboring a (teeny-tiny, infinitesimal) crush towards someone on the Internet. Certainly, she knows there’s always a one-in-a-thousand chance that it happens in real life, it’s just that out of all the 7 billion people in the world, she wasn’t expecting herself to be the (un)lucky one.
2.
The fateful day begins like any other. She wakes up to a brand new day, at 7 am, and like clockwork, she begins to stretch atop her pink yoga mat. Halfway through her workout, her phone pings with a new notification. Immediately, her phone screen lights up: agust-d has left a comment on your work!
Her traitorous heart skips a beat in the utmost display of betrayal. It’s Suga!
Ever since she scrolled through his blog two months ago, she has been exchanging messages with Suga. Her covert mission to surreptitiously listen to his song covers ends miserably when she accidentally double-clicks on a post he made two years ago. A string of expletives followed as she stared agonizingly at the post. She attempts to remove her blunder, but soon accepts defeat as it doesn’t even take a full minute until she receives a message notification from Suga. The internal debate resumes as her finger clumsily hovers on the computer mouse and she hesitantly clicks. From thereon, the rest, as they say, is history.
She ends up following his account the day after.
Although, if she were being truthful, all they’ve been sending back and forth are pleasantries. Suga seems hellbent on keeping the conversations polite and distant. She doesn’t understand, it’s not like she’s flirting with him! All she just wants is a compelling conversation with someone (because the Lord knows how much she needs an intellectual to talk to; and suga seems like an intellectual, if his posts are anything to go by).
She unlocks her phone and throws herself onto her bed. Normally, her lips quirk up automatically in response to seeing his name pop on her notifications, but it is not the case for this time. Instead, a frown mars her forehead as she reads his comment.
agust-d: the story’s great, but I think it would be better if the story ended like this
For a moment, she can’t believe her eyes. She blinks a few more times in the hope that her eyes were just playing tricks on her. Nada, it remains the same.
If there’s one thing to know about her, it’s that she meticulously plans out every detail in her stories. She even spends weeks to outline a draft, and even then, it must be decent enough before she puts it in writing. Publishing her works online, for all the world to see, still intimidates her even after all this time. Not knowing how people will respond to her works frightens her, but what is life without a little fear?
In addition, she’s receptive to constructive criticisms, but criticisms that come from those she looks up to? It’s a bitter pill to swallow sometimes. Suga—he’s become one of those people, and seeing his comment really hurt. She turns her phone off and does her chores for the time being. The moment she logs back in, she is taken aback by the multitude of comments expressing the same sentiment.
bubbleboy: “Yeah, I agree, I think it would be best if the story ended in this manner.”
She can’t help but feel the bubble of anger gradually rising. Another even started with,
orange-gloss: “No offense, but the ending being suggested by others is kinda good.”
The audacity and the entitlement in this comment! Asking her to not be offended when it is within her right to take offense is absolutely laughable. Furthermore, who are you to even tell me how I should react?
When she reaches the 20th comment, she explodes. The next two hours find her furiously typing out a decent response disguised as a story, albeit with passive-aggressiveness, addressed to all of the comments, but primarily to the one left by Suga. She talks to the rude commenters with the sweet addition of a phrasing 101 lesson. In her contained rage, she ends with the note: remember, it doesn’t hurt to be nice, and if you have qualms about how I ended my own story, do me and yourself a favor and write your own story!
She makes up her mind to take some time off her blog for a while. But after a familiar notification pops up at 5 PM, she resists the urge to run away and instead, opts to open the messages he sent.
agust-d: i’ll admit, the way I said it was rude
agust-d: but I stand with what I said
agust-d: you should consider the possibility as well
seen
(In hindsight, she realizes that, for once, Suga’s comment surpasses 25 words.)
4.
After the whole debacle with the barrage of rude comments and her consequent outburst, everything has never been the same. Understandably, some of her fans have left since then, but the majority stayed with her and for that, she’s eternally grateful. Although she still publishes her stories and interacts with her followers, a certain emptiness fills her at times.
A part of her thinks it has a lot to do with Suga, who she doesn’t talk to anymore. She… doesn’t know how to respond to him after her outburst. In a span of a moment, she manages to both defend her honor and drag agust-d through the mud, which was never her intention to begin with. Okay, well, maybe just a little bit. But she’s hurt, so it only makes sense to retaliate.
If only she could easily strike back in her current situation.
Unbeknownst to her, someone with the handle void-mayo tags her on a malicious post the night before, calling her out for being fake. Apparently, she’s a ‘copycat writer wanna-be with no real ideas of her own.’
She only discovers it when her followers start sending her messages of reassurance and appreciation. Of course, she checks the post at once, reading carefully and taking in everything that was written. (Shit, at least I have a better username, she muses). And not for the first time, she feels hurt, uneasy, and anxious at the same time. Void-mayo is already an established writer, with years of exposure under her belt and a large army of rabid fans at her disposal. Meanwhile, she’s just started her writing blog. And although she’s diligent, thorough, and ensures that each of her stories has its own personality and flavor, most of void-mayo’s fans wouldn’t care. She can’t risk losing her credibility over a baseless accusation such as this!
And with that, she feels anger bubbling from the pit of her stomach. She doesn’t get the purpose behind the destructive post. She gets humiliated, her reputation tarnished, and worse just because she had written a similar scene with an ice cream . It certainly doesn’t help that others are quick to join in calling her names and ‘cancelling her’ without even bothering to check the facts.
And as she contemplates on how to proceed with such a delicate situation, her dashboard refreshes. At the top, she notices that agust-d reblogs void-mayo’s post with the addition of his response and for once, the word count exceeds 100.
5.
In a roundabout way of saying sorry and expressing her gratitude, she proceeds to write the ending Suga requested. And illuminated by the dim light of her laptop screen, she can begrudgingly admit that he does have a point; his version of the ending does make sense.

As Week 4 in quarantine starts, I have decided that @jakegyllenhaal films are my going to be my weapon of choice against my anxiety/depression issues. For 20 years I have admired Jake's work and truly believe he is one of the true greats of his generation. How he wasn't even nominated for an Oscar for Nightcrawler (let alone win!!) I'll never know. I will start with Bubble Boy (apt don't you think) & The Good Girl - both criminally underrated in my opinion - followed by Donnie Darko, Jarhead & Love & Other Drugs. Also, as it's just been added to @nowtv, @spidermanmovie Far From Home. @tomholland2013 & Jake are the acting duo I never knew I needed but my life and the world are much better for. If you happen to see this Jake and fancy hanging out with a single mum of one who isn't good looking but full of personality, feel free to contact me 😜😂 *as sarcasm and jest do not really translate in text, please know that was a joke*. #jakegyllenhaal #tomholland #jenniferanniston #patrickswayze #jenamalone #marleyshelton #maggiegyllenhaal #johncreilly #petersarsgaard #jamiefoxx #annehathaway #bubbleboy #thegoodgirl #jarhead #donniedarko #loveandotherdrugs #joshgad https://www.instagram.com/p/B-11tOhnWgn/?igshid=b0sxrj6q004j
