#lol good luck finding all of the photoshopped versions in the rb history. āmanatee restoredā is still my favorite of all time#misc#I encourage anyone dyslexic to try rotating him in your mind. I canāt do that; which is why Iām asking you to.#also: a bunch of tags are surprised this isnāt āshopped#itās the lighting. backlit by the sun (which is diffused through the water) but also forelit artificially#the artificial light - a flash pack or something - casts a hard shadow under the creatures arm#which normally wouldnāt be possible if backlit by the SUN; youād see a less-hard/more-fragmented shadow above water#as light sources ācompeteā in a sense - and since there arenāt any light sources which can outshine the literal sun#it looks a bit weird when the darkest shadow is being cast from any other origin point - which is whatās essentially happening here#I donāt know the mechanics of how light travels through water; but I know the effect is substantial even with relatively short distances#also: itās been balanced and color corrected by the author of the photo - who made deliberate choices to bring out the full potential#so itās not like itās a fresh and untouched export#but the kind of ātacked onā appearance of the creature is a result of the lighting conditions within the image

was talking with a friend about how some of dunmeshi fŠ°ndom misunderstands kabru's initial feelings towards laios.
to sum up kabru's situation via a self-contained modernized metaphor:
kabru is like a guy who lost his entire family in a highly traumatic car accident. years later he joins a discord server and takes note of laios, another server member who seems interesting, so they start chatting. then laios reveals his special interest and favorite movie of all time is David Cronenberg's Crash (1996), and invites kabru to go watch a demolition derby with him

so much happened in this whole episode but iām still on fig infiltrating rubenās dream, making it look like the place where his friend was murdered, and then disguising herself as kipperlilly & repeatedly saying different variants of āsomebody needs to take the fall for this, and itās not going to be me. itās going to be you.ā while adaine as the elven oracle shows up next to her. can you imagine waking up from that, the idea of a horrible truth being pinned on you by your friend to save her own skin while the personification of fate and destiny stands there, almost as a promise that this is GOING to happen to you. we donāt even know if this kid is guilty. my god.

Danny Fenton, aka Phantom, has been given a new task!
In short, literally no one in the Ghost Zone/Infinite Realms wants their mostly peaceful afterlife to be rocked by a certain Gotham rogue named Joker. Which, when he dies, is almost sure to happen because of whatever the hell was in that vat he dropped in included ectoplasm. So, yay, heās also a little ghostly too, meaning he *is* pretty hard to kill. Unfortunately, thereās also a certain vigilante that is quite keen to murder him in recent years.
So now Danny has to keep the mass murderer trauma clown alive for as long as he possibly can while attempting to keep the Joker from. Well. Being the Joker.
Oh, and naturally, Danny got this assignment AFTER Joker got out of Arkham. Again. And entirely blew up the asylum. Time to join the Goonion, he is NOT doing this without getting PAID, thank you.
