Guys, when you get married remember, Marriage has three stages:

Stage number 1: Teen era Even after you've known each other for years and years, almost tried to kill each other, and probably seen you both naked, you'll act like teenagers in their prime. You know, teasing, blushing for any reason, sex in the most inopportune places, those things that one day you will remember and feel ashamed of yourself.

Stage number 2 - Finding out The part of the relationship where you realize you knew absolutely nothing about your partner. Actually, "Nothing" is an exaggeration but you get the point. You start to know about small things that are shocking to the point of being considered a secret. Everyone has a secret, right? And the best way to count them is to dump each one. For example, Childe talking about her crazy exes:

At the mention of his brother, Childe's expression changed, forgetting his red fingers. ''Awesome, we could invite them to dinner this weekend, If that's not a problem'' He gave an idea, but then raised an eyebrow at your dull expression

''They seem like good people…but I-I'm sure they'll ask those awkward questions like 'when are you two having a baby' and then apologize for being intrusive after being intrusive'' Of course, it was just an assumption, you had only interacted with them for minutes but your biggest mistake in this conversation was bringing up the subject you two avoid. Childe laughed awkwardly, scratching the back of his head.

''Well-''

"Childe, we already talked about this. You just have a silly baby fever, and in case you didn't know, fever goes away" You quickly dismissed him, knowing he wouldn't give up so soon. Having a child was a big request, a big wish. But it's not like it wouldn't be ''easy'', you have enough money to have 50 kids and they still wouldn't use up half of Childe's bank account. His family lives in the apartment next door and could teach you more about how to take care of children…But there was still an insecurity boiling inside you.

"But what if it doesn't go away ? What If the urge to go out just to buy little socks for our child keeps eating me ?" He was almost pleading, looking into your eyes just when you tried to avoid his gaze

"...First, you need to give me good arguments" you replied after sigh, somewhat expressing your guilty. Childe opens a big smile and approaches you once more, A fox look - persuasive "hmm... don't you want hold a mini silly Childe in your arms ?-"

"Cut it off! This is serious!"

"O-okay!" He chuckled softly before silence filled the room, he looked at the floor and then at the main kitchen window "We would practically be building a story…That's not the reason I would want to have a child, in fact you is my reason. Sometimes I feel like you are the reason for my existence… and they would [literally] understand me"

You stayed quiet and walked away from the counter, taking off your apron before gently kissing his lips. He cupped your face, wiping away the small traces of flour on your cheeks. ''I'm convincing, aren't I?'' He whispered and pulled away, taking a few steps backwards as he bit into the cookie he stole while you weren't looking. Bastard. You didn't even have time to shout at him because the man was already on the other side of the apartment; you sighed, but couldn't help but giggle.

Do you think constant exposure to forcefem stuff can actually turn you into a girl? I’ve been really confused about my identity lately. The wind blows through the woods, her hair threatening to come undone from the next tug. She fiddles with the strap so the basket won’t fall off, continuing to think about how much of a pain this journey is. She starts to feel pity on her older brother who walks up this hill almost every day to sell coal. “Wow Tanjiro… The patience you have is insane..”

It’s been a day since she went off down to the village to sell coal. She planned to be home by midnight but thanks to her dear neighbor, Enmu had let her rest and stay the night. Still eternally grateful for what he’s done, she mentally thanks him once again continuing up the mountain. She looks back up, out of breath like she’s ready to collapse and she notices the roof of her house just some trees away.

Finally, she reaches her stop.

Nezuko practically runs the rest of the way up to her home, smiling happily. Finally, she can rest again, finally she can talk to her family, finally she can hug them all in a tight hug, finally she can check up on their well being, finally she can do her old tasks.

She freezes, staring at the open door. It’d be fine to leave the door open, they tend to leave it open all the time it’s just… Why was it so quiet? It was… Too quiet.

“Takeo? Hanako? Tanjiro? Shigeru? Rokuta? Mom…?” Nezuko called out for their names, wandering around the outside of their house thinking all of this was just a silly game. “Perhaps they're still asleep? But Takeo doesn’t sleep late… Maybe they were worried about me? Haha, how cute!” the girl chuckles at the thought, they’ve all had those moments worrying night about each other- especially their big brother Tanjiro. 

I mean, nothing bad can go wrong right?

She goes back to the door, still open letting the cold air in. Nezuko felt uneasy, her mind kept screaming at her to run and not look back. Like what was inside her beloved house was now a nightmare. However, Nezuko doesn’t step back. She pushes her doubtful feelings away- there could be nothing awful in the house and if she's the big sister, she’ll take care of it!

#3 is very, very tempting (especially since I am quite sure the two of them are fucking like rabbits on the regular whenever their campsite allows enough privacy), but Hector is a smidge too dignified still, tragically (and far too deep in the feels side of things). XD

And it's true, really - he would do anything she asked of him, in the end. And he's had a long day and that also seems to tend to make him sentimental.

He smiles slightly at her excitement as he walks over; coming to a halt a little in front of her, he inclines his head in a mock bow, one fist to his chest. "Your wish is my command," he murmurs.

She gives him a slow, almost shy smile and fidgets back and forth on the balls of her feet, her eyes glowing bright in the dimness. "I want to go on a date," she says firmly. Her shoulders are squared as if she's expecting a laugh, a disagreement, a dismissal, and is determined to push on anyway. "A first date. No weapons, no monsters, no mysterious voices. Just you and me and dinner."

She swallows and meets his eyes. He is astonished to see the level of nervousness there; one would think she was asking him to walk off a cliff. "Please say yes," she says earnestly.

Hector blinks at her a few times - he is thrown by this, not because it's something he doesn't want to hear, but because she seems so intense about it that he was fully expecting her to talk about something much less welcome. Then a smile spreads across his face.

Gods, I love you. Yes, of course I want to. Of course I want to spend time with you, be seen with you, experience the world with you... forget all of this for a while. Of course... and you need never fear I would say no...

"What did you have in mind?" he asks, smiling and reaching out to take her hand.

Her eyes brighten and her grin widens eagerly. The words come out faster, spilling over each other as they do when she's particularly excited. "There's a little spot I know in town. Out of the way, but the view of the city is incredible. Say you'll go. My treat!"

For a moment he thinks he can almost see the younger Karlach bleed through - 20 years old and still feeling like she could take on the world, at home in this city, knowing it like the back of her hand. And wanting to share it, this place that is hers, with him.

He tugs her hand to his lips and kisses her palm gently. "I'd love to go out with you," he says softly.

"Yes! Amazing!" Her smile splits her face from ear to ear; he's almost never seen her smile so wide, not since the first night they kissed at Last Light. "Put on your least bloody tunic and meet me back here."

She squirms from foot to foot, her hands flailing in all directions in her elation. "Eeee..." she squeaks. "I'm so excited!"

He finds himself grinning as well, unable to take his eyes off her. He could look at her in these moments of joy forever...

(A/N: I took a brief pause here to put Hector in the Solemnity outfit and have Karlach borrow Shadowheart's Opalescent outfit because OBVIOUSLY we're going to have them get dressed up for dinner. ^_^ EEEE this is so cute.)

"Give me a bit to run ahead. I want to make sure everything's absolutely perfect. See you there!"

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH MAH I JUST HAD SUCH A GOOD IDEA AHHHHHHHHHHH (so here is a fic!)

*This takes place sometime after the event has happened, with Adamina's curse broken and Ruthie stopping by NRC on occasion to visit Yuu and the gang (while also keeping in touch through text/social media!)*

Ruthie is standing in the rose gardens of Heartslabyul, having stopped by to visit after checking in on Yuu at Ramshackle. When she arrived the students were painting the roses, some of them painting them by hand, due to the collar around their neck. Cater notices her, calling her over as he has his clones continue working. They begin making small talk, each of them asking how the other is doing. Cater even takes out his phone, showing her videos he was gonna send that he knew she would like.

A thought occurs to Ruthie, causing her to change the subject of their conversation. "You know, you never did tell me your type." She says, looking up at him. He pauses for a moment, lowering where he held his phone between them as he asks, "What?"

"Back at the castle, during...you know..." She looks down, hesitant to bring it up. While everything had worked out in the end, she couldn't help but be embarrassed by her behavior, desperate as she was to break Adamina's curse. "You always seemed to avoid the question when I asked, so I can't help but wonder....what is your type Cater?" She looks back up at him, waiting for his response.

His heart skipped a beat at her question, his face growing warm as she stared. He knew she meant it innocently, probably hoping she could set him up with one of her classmates. But perhaps she was wondering for a different reason, his stomach fluttering at the thought. He grew nervous as she continued to stare, unable to look her in the eyes as she patiently waited.

He rubs the back of his neck, clearing his throat as he looks down at his phone. He begins scrolling for a moment, saying "I think it might be better if I showed you...", his face a light pink. Soon he hands her his phone, Ruthie taking it eagerly as he looks to the side.

She's confused, looking at the screen. His camera app is open, with the front facing camera on the phone selected, Ruthie staring at her own reflection. She looks back towards him, his face having turned red as he continues to look away. She turns her attention back to the phone, concentrating on the screen as she thought. A moment passes before she gasps, her face turning pink as it hits her, almost dropping his phone. It's her she realizes she's Cater's type.

She hands him back his phone, unable to look at him as she presses her hands to her cheeks. Her heart was racing, mind a mess as she tries to make sense of the situation. Her? She was Cater's type?? And why was she acting this way, all flustered and lovestruck? Her and Cater were friends, it wasn't as if she....

Oh

She looks back at Cater, face turning red before she quickly looks away
