would chayanne believe everyone telling him that phil abandoned him for forever- or would he be like hell no I don't believe this stuff- since he himself has been beefing eith forever in some streams and tried to lock him up himself with the mini prison trap. I feel like he'd already have bias against forever both from the behavior he's witnessed, and watching phil attempt to keep his distance. so when phil disappears to go with forever I feel like this little warrior would 100% try to find out what happened yknow?

Chayanne is still a kid. Chayanne can't work out that the weird man trying to put his dad in prison is the reason Phil is gone. He can't work out that maybe Phil didn't want this.

So, he believes what he's told. Lulah and papa and Fit and everyone else that Chayanne trusts and loves is saying that Phil just abandoned them. So he believes it

Imagine in the beginning, before Red Hood's goons figure out that he is a baby, they think he is a single dad of a bunch of kids, instead. And it is not like they are wrong, since he does parent all kids of Crime Alley, but they mean not them. They mean Bats, instead.

No one is sure how old Red Hood is. But they saw a single white streak of the hair once, so he is... old, right? And these Batkids, they always hang around him, whining and asking for something - surely, it is his kids? Right? That gotta be it.

anyone else thinking about effie spending 24 years watching haymitch completely fall apart. effie, who met haymitch by accident, who knows exactly what kind of person he is, who sees him every year on his birthday for 24 years and each year he’s drunker, each year he’s angrier, each year he’s faster to give up. and then they get katniss and peeta. peeta, who is kind and open and understanding, who refuses to give up on haymitch. and katniss, who is so much like haymitch at 16 that it hurts. and over the few days they’re together, effie watches haymitch come back to life. watches him try. watches him have hope. and then they get to keep not one but both of those kids. they get to come home. and then, less then a year later, effie pulls haymitch’s name at the reaping.
