In my Peter fic, he’s close to Tori and is sort of a mother figure to him. Which obviously got me thinking - what if this poor woman had to also manage her other child-ish figure (that being Tris) and make the kids stop fighting.

So this AU was born. Tori is a single woman who has been fighting the foster care system to become a foster parent. When she was finally being considered, she was immediately told “no, you don’t want that one.” When she met Peter. She was informed that he was a difficult case that several foster families had already given up on, so they were only considering experienced foster parents to take him in.

Obviously it became her life’s mission to adopt him. After years, she was successful. Meanwhile, the Prior family is rather close with Tori and are neighbors. When both parents die in a freak accident (because that has to happen even in my cute AU apparently), Tori agrees to watch Tris and Caleb until a more permanent solution is found.

Saying Peter does not like this would be a bit of an understatement. While he still refuses to share anything, it’s not difficult to guess he didn’t come from a good upbringing considering his violent outbursts, abandonment issues, and constant panic attacks. These fears are only confirmed for him when he sees his mother giving attention to two children who are not him. He feels like he’s losing the one person willing to take a chance on him. As such, he immediately despises these two intruders on his carefully crafted life.

Caleb isn’t awful. He mostly stays to himself, and is rather self sufficient. Tris, though? Well he cannot stand her. She seems to be taking up all of his mother’s attention with her sobbing about how much she misses her parents all the time. And while Peter can’t help but feel slightly bad for the girl, he still is sure that she has to go.

Thus begins his quest to get rid of these children by trying to get them adopted. Hijinks ensue, and well… if he were to get attached to his new temporary siblings along the way, would that really be so bad?

(They are about 8-10 in this AU. Just wanted a feel good thing because all my other AUs are very depressing.)

i really don’t think it’s “typical dragon age fandom nonsense” for people to be genuinely upset about the world state choices. combat, level design, art direction, gameplay gimmicks, those have all varied across each dragon age game. the one thing that’s remained constant are nods to our previous choices.

i wasn’t expecting my HoF to come riding in on a griffon, but i can’t find a monument dedicated to warden tabris somewhere around the anderfels? lucanis couldn’t have some lines about the time that one arainai boy was stirring up trouble in antiva city? you’re gonna tell me that making a mage the new divine wouldn’t have some impact on nevarra and antiva? on the anderfels, the supposed most devout militant andrastian nation in thedas? you’re saying nobody in the north is paying attention to who rules orlais or ferelden? come on.

Fic Idea where Fiddleford helps Stan rebuild the portal, but Stan finds out that Fiddleford has a wife and he's like

Anyways, so Stan helps Fiddleford reach out and explain himself to his wife, but expresses that he wants to keep being in Gravity Falls, so his wife and kid go to live with them in The Shack instead.

Blah blah blah, bonding happens, Stan bags Fiddleford AND his wife and becomes a step dad, God bless 🙏

once again thinking about jason as duke’s robin. he’s ~4 years younger than jason, and that puts him at 8-12 during Jason’s time as robin. that’s prime time to get attached to your local kid vigilante before your own life goes downhill.

and if we try to keep duke’s meeting with bruce in zero year + duke’s age (so he can remember the meeting and hold that conversation with bruce), he has to be around 8. if he starts following batman through the news at that time because of the mess that just happened, the robin he sees is probably jason. I’ve literally connected the dots
