Day Four;

Dedicated study time 3.6hrs

I started Module Two today, we covered recording transactions, t-accounts, ledgers + posting, and journal entries. there is more to cover however, I capped out. I've found my threshold and we'll continue building it from here. three hours is substantial and perhaps by the time I am done with this course, I can build to about five hours of stamina. my comprehension is far better than I gave myself credit for and I am pleased with my progress so far. I chose to study from home knowing its something I am capable of however, I snack like no tomorrow and its easy to lose myself in the things to be done around the home; i watered my plants and did some laundry with my breaks other than snack.

Total dedicated time 13.2 hrs

Thirteen months remaining.

I've been nature doodling, but only a handful of plants have sprouted so far. i love them all!!

so i took to pinterest as one does, and doodled more plants. I wanted to focus on understanding shapes and staying loosey goosey, since they're doodles and not illustrations! some of them are also drawn in a car, so we did a little collab on some of the lines 😅

and silly little tree guys!!!

I'm now halfway through my journal 🥺 which is a new experience for me, never been able to get this far before getting bored, BUT I FIGURED OUT THE RECIPE NOW!!!!

happy birthday to my mom 🌷 this painting is kind of a companion piece to last year's, despite me forgetting the weird aspect ratio lol so we'll see how they pair next to each other . . . i'm pretty fond of this painting. went back to my first loves: cool tones and linework. hope you like it, too. ☺️ prints available here. 🌷 i don't really know how to explain the innate hollowness that i carry, but i feel it when i look at this painting - an abandoned conservatory that can never be reopened. the sun rises every morning, its warmth luring me further and further away from you. everything changes, but somehow stays the same. to feel like an incomplete human. to wonder what it would be like.
