i mean this in the most respectful way possible: is the reason the bridgerton rp didn’t succeed just because of the anons on this blog? like can the people that were interested in joining before but didn’t chime in or something?

the reason i’m skeptical about it is just because damn near all krps get blasted on this blog, many that were even worse than that rp and they still got a lot of applicants. like hotsugar or gnosis. obviously the feedback on this blog is still incredibly upsetting for any admin, but i feel like people saying the rp didn’t get applicants solely because of some wildly incorrect takes on here that were pretty quickly debunked doesn’t seem likely.

i think in reality the rp was beautiful but it’s busy ooc for a lot of muns, tumblr rp is usually unpopular in the krp community, and lore heavy / writing driven rps aren’t very popular in krp right now either. i also don’t think that rp considered themselves krp which probably turned off some people.

i don’t doubt that some of the anons on this blog drove SOME applicants away, but i can’t believe that a ton of people would not apply for an rp just because of bs on this blog. ALL new groups get bs on this blog and i don’t want the admin thinking everyone was turned off from them when there might be other less upsetting factors that played into it and lowered the app count.

some other anons submitted asks below that are from that category, we only have proof of one group, though the size of the group was decent so it could account for a good portion! one person sent an ask just now, which is why we posted it above yours, because it wasn’t in our inbox before your ask!
