Upgrade Your Hotel Property with a Hotel Management System
Travel is slowly reaching to the pre-pandemic levels and there are new traveling opportunities for business and leisure travelers. In the coming holiday season, more people than ever are going to travel to the holiday destinations of their choice. On the other hand, with the business picking up, more business travelers are going to need hotels to conduct their business presentations and meetings with their clients.
The question that arises here is, have you prepared your hotel property to handle incoming travelers so you can give these guests a great stay experience. The best way to prepare your property for new guests is by using a hotel software to manage your hotel’s operations as well as the different processes related to room bookings and checking-in guests. A hotel management system is the Swiss knife that you can use to accomplish a wide range of tasks at your hotel property.
While many old properties are still using legacy PMS, the modern hotels have upgraded to a hotel management system that uses high-end technology. Using the cloud as the backend of their hotel operations is the ideal way for hotel owners to be at par with their competition in the market.
Using cloud hotel software comes with a host of advantages, some of them being:
A Hotel Management Software Adds Ease to Hotel Operations
Hotel software adds a unique dimension of ease and usability to regular hotel operations. Let’s take a quick look at some of the ways in which a hotel management software is the ideal choice for upgrading a hotel property to modern standards.
Power Up Front Desk Processes
The front desk is the first interaction point for the guests and the staff. By automating different front desk processes, staff can save time and energy. By automating check-in, check-out, and more, hotel staff can increase the speed at which guests move through the front desk to their rooms.
When guests are tired after a long journey, they also appreciate that they will reach their room quickly to relax. Guests can use a web-app to check into their room without needing keys. They can also get a personalized stay experience by mentioning their food and drink preferences to the staff. For returning guests, the hotel can offer discounts and rebates for their stay or meal choices.
Multi-Device Access for Housekeeping Team
Whether the housekeeping staff is using a phone, a tablet, or a laptop, they can be connected through the cloud to update their tasks and get new tasks assigned to them. Managers can keep an eye on the teams that have no duties to offer them new instructions for maximum productivity. The team members can update the finished tasks through their mobile devices which gives managers a fair idea of how the team is performing through the day’s tasks.
Another advantage of multi-device access is that managers can keep an eye on several properties at once. Managers don’t need to be physically present at a location to oversee the day’s operations.
A Wide Range of Performance Reports
Finding the right performance reports that give an insight into the hotel’s performance is essential to business success. There are so many things going on in the hotel that covering all the information in a manual way is simply impossible. With hotel software, managers can get reports about sales, occupancy rates, inventory stats, returning guests, and much more. The reports are available in a variety of formats and it is also easy to customize the output of the reports.
A simple examination of these reports can give the managers crucial insights into how the hotel is performing and which areas need improvements. The reports are also available on a weekly, monthly, and yearly basis so that managers can check the patterns of hotel’s performance and tweak them to get better profits.
Integration with Different Applications
Modern hotel management system offers a high degree of customization for users. Whether it is integration with OTA (Online Travel Agents) or using payment processing gateways, the third party applications are a great way to supercharge the software. Another benefit of third party applications is that managers can tweak the software to suit their unique workflow and their requirements in the property.
Affordability
In the long run, cloud software wins over due to its affordability as compared to legacy systems. The software runs on existing hardware and the updates are made available by the service provider. This can save on a range of IT infrastructure and IT personnel costs for the hotel. What’s more, the software is easy to learn and there are virtually no training costs. As the software is designed with the end-user in mind, all functions are simplified and easy to understand.
To Sum Up
If you are managing a hotel in the current business environment, you need every edge over the competition. Whether it is in regards to your hotel’s operations or catering to the needs and requirements of the guests, a software solution can help you achieve all these things with ease.
Still thinking about choosing a cloud based hotel management software? Well, it’s time to make a choice. A cloud PMS will not only help you to upgrade your hotel property, but it will also prepare your hotel property for future changes in the industry.
A reliable cloud PMS like mycloud Hospitality can help you to take your business to the next level of profitability. Behind Lock Doors
Consider this as a prequel to: Not Interested
Fallen Star Hotel: Room 103. 11:31 Pm.
In this room sat two individuals: The fashion icon of, Beacon Academy, Coco Adel, and the wannabe knight, Jaune Arc.
The pair had been out on the town shopping for clothes. Mostly for, Coco that was. Jaune was just giving her his expert opinion for woman’s fashion. The duo had had a rather eventful day, and decided the finish things off with a nice meal, and then head back to, Beacon.
Then disaster struck.
Nora Valkyrie had struck.
After they had finished their food they both started feeling hot under the collar. As they made their way back, a burning desire grew hotter, and hotter within them. Suddenly, Nora had appeared out of thin air, and dragged the pair away. They tried to fight her off, but the burning desire blurred their mind. She shoved the two into a hotel room, she told the pair to have fun before locking the door, and disappeared.
The pair stared at one another before take a spot with their backs to each other on the only bed in the room as a terrible realization dawned on them.
~~~
Jaune: …
Coco: …
Jaune: …
Coco: …
Jaune: …
Coco: J-Jaune…?
Jaune: Yeah…?
Coco: Are you feeling… are you feeling…?
Jaune: Aroused…?
Coco: I was going to say horny, but… yeah that…
Jaune: Yeah… I’m feeling that…
Coco: Why are we feeling like this?!
Jaune: Haaaa… Nora…
Coco: Nora?
Jaune: She spiked our food… w-with… haaa… an a-aphrodisiac.
Coco: She did? H-How can you tell?
Jaune: It the only thing that makes sense… We’re both feeling horny as hell after we ate… and then, Nora shoved us in here, and locked the door. What else could it be…?
Coco: Fuck… that makes perfect sense…
Jaune: She has been questioning me if I had a thing for you… I deflected every time she asked… I don’t think she liked my answer.
Coco: Do you?
Jaune: Do I what?
Coco: Do you… haaa~! L-Like me…?
Jaune: Romantically?
Coco: Yeah… romantically.
Jaune: …
Jaune: I’d be lying if I didn’t say I wasn’t interested…
Coco: And, what would you do if I said I was interested too?
Jaune: If you were… I’d probably ask you on a date…
Coco: W-Would today count as a date? We went to the mall, did some shopping, had dinner together, sounds like a date to me.
Jaune: By that logic we’ve been dating for months. But, we never labeled it as a date, just two friends hanging out. It doesn’t count.
Coco: That’s fair…
Jaune: Well… i-if it was a date… it was one hell of a date.
Coco: Until the being drugged part.
Jaune: Yeah… that part…
Coco: …
Coco: Have you ever thought about doing it with me?
Jaune: It? Do you mean… sex…?
Coco: Yeah… sex…
Jaune: …
Jaune: Once, or twice…
Coco: Oh hoho~! Really? Tell me, Bunny Boy… what did you do to me~?
Jaune: Coco… as much as I would love to hear you say scream my name… I do not want to do it because I was drugged! It feels wrong… the thought of it would be a huge turn off me, if it wasn’t the fact the drugged in my system are doing the exact opposite to me!
Coco: That’s… fair…
Jaune: Have you… Have you thought about doing it… w-with me…?
Coco: I may have flicked the bean a few times thinking about you…
Jaune: Oh… thank you…?
Coco: Gods I am so turned on right now! What kind of drug did she spike our food with?!
Jaune: Something aura related.
Coco: How can you tell?
Jaune: I’ve been burning my aura trying to get the drug out of my system. And, well…
Coco: It feels stronger than before?
Jaune: Yeah… It feels way stronger than before…
Coco: Might be, Succubus Tears then…
Jaune: Succubus Tears, the hell is that?
Coco: It’s an aphrodisiac drug that feeds off an individuals aura. We’ll be stuck in a hell of a sex drive until it burns through your system, and some.
Jaune: Fuck… I have massive aura reserves, this is going to take a while… Is there any other way we can kill this buzz?
Coco: Yeah, we could have …
Jaune: Sex?
Coco: Yeah, that.
Jaune: Wait, how do you know what kind of drug it could be?
Coco: I go to the club, I don’t want any fucker spiking my drink. So, I learned what kind of drugs fuckers could spike my drink with.
Jaune: Ahh… another reason to avoid the clubs… Wait, does that mean you know how to deal with these… Succubus Tears? Like should we go to the hospital, and ask them for help?
Coco: Wouldn’t do any good, you have to deplete your aura to get rid of the effects. Even then you’ll have to wait a while for it to wear off.
Jaune: Fuck…! Any other ideas?
Coco: We could screw each other…
Jaune: Not happening.
Coco: Or, one of us can go into the bathroom, and the other stays here, and work it…
Jaune: That won’t work…
Coco: Why not?
Jaune: You’re gonna get yourself off, and I myself. Someones going to make some noise… then someone going to start thinking… and, then were going to do it right on the spot…
Coco: We would be behind a lock door though?
Jaune: First off, I seriously doubt the sound proofing of that door. Secondly, we’re hunters in training; do you seriously think a simple bolt lock, and one inch of wood is going to stop either of us?
Coco: Like hell it will. I could just punch that door, and I’d get in.
Jaune: Yeah, but you wouldn’t do that.
Coco: Why not?
Jaune: Because that’s simple, and lame. You would kick the door down in those high heel boots of yours like a total badass.
Coco: Oh, that is totally the badass thing to do~!
Jaune: I would probably just rip the door of its hinges trying to open it.
Coco: Mmm… that’s hot.
Jaune: Pff… yeah… it kinda is.
Coco: So… what are going to do till this shit wears off.
Jaune: We continue what we’re doing. We sit here, and wait for it to burn off, and plan unholy vengence against, Nora.
Coco: Okay… I’m going to deck her with my hand bag.
Jaune: Ohhh! You trying to kill her?
Coco: At this rate I’m serious planning on it.
Jaune: Fair. I was thinking about tying her to a pole, and baking pancakes in front of her.
Coco: That doesn’t sound so bad.
Jaune: But I was going to burn every one of them.
Coco: Oh! Oh, that’s devious~!
Jaune: My vengeance will be swift, and bloody~!
Coco: Hey, Jaune… can I ask you one question?
Jaune: Depends.
Coco: This is going to bother to hell, and back if I don’t get an answer since I saw it. But, how big are you?
Jaune: …
Jaune: Seven soft, ten and a half hard…
Coco: Nice~!
Teamwork
Once upon a time in Frankfurt, there was a young and ambitious banker named Daniel. Fresh out of university, he landed a prestigious job at an investment bank, earning a good salary and living a comfortable life.
Tumblr media
Daniel was introduced to his direct manager, Oliver, a handsome and beefy 40-year-old. Oliver was known as the deal-maker of the company and needed a partner to expand the business. The targets they aimed for were incredibly high, but Oliver assured Daniel that as long as they reached their goals, how they worked didn't matter.
Tumblr media
Oliver shared his personal routine with Daniel, explaining how he worked out in the mornings to stay in shape. He used to play soccer but now enjoyed watching his son play, dedicating his weekends to family time. Oliver's physique had changed over the years, now sporting a muscular chest and strong arms with a slight layer of fat over his abs. He laughed it off, saying his wife Birgit didn't mind and didn't have to worry about other girls trying to steal a fit and handsome banker.
The duo delved into the workings of the job, with Oliver explaining the bonus system. Each week's target saved throughout the quarter would contribute to their bonus. If they had a bad week, it would be offset by a good week. However, if they received four warnings due to consistently failing to meet targets, they would be let go. They were tasked with convincing clients to invest, managing both existing and new clients. Their secretary would fill their agendas, and they received a weekly spending fee of €2000 for gifts, meals, and travel (with hotels being an additional cost).
In Daniel's first week, he accompanied Oliver to all of his meetings and experienced the grueling schedule of a banker. Oliver would start at 7:30 am, have morning office meetings, go over the day's plans with the secretary, and have a coffee meeting at 11:30 am. Lunch was an elaborate affair at a fancy restaurant at 12:45 pm. The afternoons were filled with car and Zoom meetings, and Oliver would head home at 6 pm to change and put his son to bed before going out for dinner meetings at 8 pm.
The pace was exhausting for Daniel, but he believed he would eventually get the hang of it. Determined to maintain his fitness, he started his days with a run as he was naturally tall and lean, not a fan of the gym. He sought advice from Oliver and began planning his own meetings. Though it was normal for Daniel to not reach his target in his first week, he began to worry when he realized he wouldn't meet his second target by Wednesday.
Daniel confided in Oliver, and to his surprise, Oliver offered him a deal with an easier client. The condition was that Daniel would buy him a nice bottle of champagne for their Friday night drinks. Daniel agreed and signed a promising deal, reaching his first target and buying Oliver the promised champagne. The following morning was rough for both of them due to the excess drinking. Daniel skipped his morning run, opting to stay in bed all day watching Netflix.
Oliver, on the other hand, went to Starbucks to wash away the grogginess with a big caramel coffee and whipped cream before watching his son play football. Later, he took his son to a pancake restaurant, indulging in his usual Saturday routine.
The weeks went by and Daniel and Oliver made a bet. The person who failed to reach the monthly target would have to bring coffee to the other person every morning for the rest of the month. Daniel, getting the hang of things, won the bet, with Oliver bringing coffee and two donuts every morning for them to share before their meetings. This routine continued for another four days, and before they knew it, the month was over, and Friday night drinks were on the horizon. Daniel had been dealing with hangovers every Saturday during his first month of working with Oliver.
On a Monday, Oliver delivered some news to Daniel. There was a big client in town who could only meet early in the mornings, meaning Daniel couldn't go for his usual run, and Oliver would have to skip the gym for a few days. They met at a coffee place at 7 am to prepare and had a satisfying breakfast, ensuring they wouldn't get hungry until their 1 pm lunch meetings. However, as the days went by, those small bites turned into full lunches, sometimes even second lunches with other clients. Daniel noticed Oliver's belly starting to protrude more, jokingly poking at it. Oliver laughed it off, assuring him that he would lose the weight once the client was signed.
Tumblr media
Three weeks went by, and they successfully signed the client, reaching their monthly targets. Daniel achieved a bigger win, so he declared that it was Oliver's turn to bring coffee for the rest of the month. Oliver complied, bringing a box of a dozen Dunkin' donuts for the entire week. During their meetings that afternoon, the box quickly emptied as they indulged in a donut during each session.
Daniel began to notice love handles appearing and grew worried. He had never had to be conscious of his eating habits before and was always naturally lean. Wanting to take action, Daniel decided to go for a run one morning. However, Oliver advised against it, as there was a new client who needed early morning meetings. With multiple clients coming in, that pattern persisted for another month. Oliver also started noticing Daniel's weight gain but kept quiet about it. Instead, he continued bringing donuts every morning.
Tumblr media
After six months of morning meetings, double lunches, Friday night drinking binges, and hangover food the following morning, both Daniel and Oliver had become significantly larger. Their waistlines had increased, and they both went up at least a clothing size.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Their boss was thrilled with their results and rewarded them with a substantial bonus. As their success continued, the targets became even higher, and their boss entrusted them with his prestigious clients, which required their special attention and demanded more from them.
Daniel and Oliver embraced the challenge and prepared their days together in the early mornings, engaging in double lunch meetings. Daniel took charge of early dinners while also joining Oliver for late dinners with important clients. They had target after target to meet, and as a result, their weight continued to skyrocket.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Daniel attempted to go for a run after months of inactivity, but he quickly stopped after only 10 minutes. He was out of breath, and his knee joints ached. Frustrated, he complained to Oliver, who sympathized, recounting how he struggled to catch his breath while running after his son's soccer ball. Oliver proposed a gym session, and together they struggled to squeeze into their gym clothes, ultimately abandoning the idea for a sauna session instead.
Week after week, their office was filled with food, snacks, and lavish drinks, and their weight continued to climb. However, they didn't seem to mind as their hunger for money and success overpowered any concerns about their physical health. Both Daniel and Oliver became fiercely competitive, pushing themselves to secure as many targets as possible.
After two years of this exhausting and competitive routine, both men had become fat. Still, they didn't let that deter them from their goals. Their boss, approaching retirement, presented them with a plan to take over the business. They worked diligently, crafting a financial proposal, and their boss gave them six months to make it a reality.
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
During those six months, they traveled the world, moving from one big client to another. Their days weren't as long, but they were welcomed everywhere with the finest food and drinks, attending parties at each stop. They truly lived a lavish existence, indulging in more food and becoming even larger. Daniel had nearly caught up to Oliver's size.
At the end of the six months, they finalized their proposal and presented it to their boss, who was thrilled and agreed to hand over the business to them. With their new roles, they acquired more prestigious clients than ever before.
To celebrate their success, they embarked on an all-inclusive trip to the Maldives, with Oliver bringing his wife along. It was a time for bonding, relaxation, and pure indulgence—three weeks of carefree living. Their competitive streak remained, as they wagered on how many brownies they could eat in the morning, indulged in ice cream at lunch, and drank champagne at night. They were stuffed all day, and by the end of the first week, they had grown even fatter.
After returning to the office, everyone noticed that their new bosses had become even fatter but seemed happier than ever. Secretaries started ensuring that every meeting had snacks and treats readily available.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Their business flourished, leaving clients highly satisfied, and the demand for their services grew even more. Five years into Daniel's banking career, he had become enormous, causing worry his among family. They urged him to diet and exercise, but he brushed off their concerns, instead opting to consume yet another sausage.
Oliver's wife, on the other hand, had no complaints. Her husband's size made her feel secure in their relationship, and the steady flow of money allowed her to indulge in new handbags weekly. However, they both knew they had to pace themselves. Simple tasks like tying shoes became nearly impossible, and even a short walk was a burden.
Realizing they needed assistance to handle their growing business, they decided to hire two proteges. These fresh, fit individuals joined their bosses for a month, trying to keep up with their demanding schedule. The question remained: would these newcomers achieve the same level of success?
And so the saga continues, with Oliver and Daniel's empire expanding, their weight reaching new heights, and their hunger for prosperity persisting, as they strive to conquer the world of finance. The end.
Common Hotel Guest Complaints and How to Handle Them
Tumblr media
When it comes to the hospitality industry, ensuring guest satisfaction is paramount. From check-in to check-out, every aspect of a guest's stay should be smooth and enjoyable. However, even the most well-run hotels may encounter guest complaints from time to time. Understanding these common issues and having effective strategies to address them can make all the difference in turning a negative experience into a positive one.
In this guide, we'll explore some typical hotel guest complaints and provide actionable solutions for hoteliers to implement.
1. Slow Check-in Process
Complaint: Long queues at the check-in desk can leave guests feeling frustrated, especially after a tiring journey.
Solution: To streamline the check-in process, hotels can invest in technology such as mobile check-in apps or self-service kiosks. Additionally, ensuring adequate staffing during peak hours can help reduce wait times. Providing a warm welcome with refreshments while guests wait can also improve their experience.
2. Room Cleanliness Concerns
Complaint: Guests expect their accommodations to be clean and well-maintained. Any signs of dirt, dust, or unhygienic conditions can lead to dissatisfaction.
Solution: Implementing rigorous cleaning protocols is essential. Conduct regular inspections to ensure rooms meet high standards of cleanliness. Encourage guests to report any cleanliness issues immediately, and address them promptly with a thorough cleaning or room change if necessary.
3. Noise Disturbances
Complaint: Noise from neighbouring rooms, hallways, or outside can disrupt guests' sleep and overall comfort.
Solution: Invest in soundproofing measures such as double-glazed windows, carpeting in hallways, and noise-cancelling systems in rooms. Providing earplugs or white noise machines upon request can also help guests mitigate noise disturbances.
4. Wi-Fi Connectivity Problems
Complaint: In today's connected world, guests expect reliable Wi-Fi access for both work and leisure purposes. Poor connectivity or slow internet speeds can lead to frustration.
Solution: Ensure robust Wi-Fi infrastructure throughout the property, including guest rooms, common areas, and meeting spaces. Regularly test the network to identify and address any issues promptly. Providing clear instructions for connecting to Wi-Fi and offering technical support for guests experiencing difficulties can enhance their experience.
5. Uncomfortable Beds and Bedding
Complaint: Guests often complain about uncomfortable mattresses, lumpy pillows, or scratchy bedding, which can negatively impact their sleep quality.
Solution: Invest in high-quality mattresses, pillows, and linens to provide guests with a comfortable sleep experience. Offer a pillow menu with various pillow options to cater to different preferences. Regularly replace worn-out bedding to maintain standards of comfort.
6. Temperature Control Issues
Complaint: Guests may experience discomfort if their room temperature is too hot or too cold, leading to complaints about HVAC malfunctions.
Solution: Ensure HVAC systems are regularly serviced to maintain optimal performance. Provide clear instructions for controlling room temperature and offer additional amenities such as fans or space heaters upon request. Promptly address any reported temperature control issues to ensure guest comfort.
7. Poor Customer Service
Complaint: Guests expect friendly, attentive service throughout their stay. Any lapses in customer service, such as rude staff or unresponsive front desk agents, can sour the guest experience.
Solution: Prioritize staff training in hospitality etiquette, communication skills, and problem-solving. Empower employees to resolve guest issues promptly and courteously. Encourage a culture of hospitality and empathy among staff members to ensure guests feel valued and respected.
8. Inadequate Facilities or Amenities
Complaint: Guests may be disappointed if advertised amenities such as fitness centers, pools, or restaurants are not up to their expectations or unavailable during their stay.
Solution: Regularly maintain and upgrade hotel facilities to meet guest expectations. Clearly communicate any temporary closures or limitations of amenities in advance. Offer alternative options or compensation for any inconveniences caused by unavailable facilities.
9. Billing Discrepancies
Complaint: Incorrect charges or billing errors can lead to frustration and distrust among guests.
Solution: Implement thorough billing procedures and double-check all charges before presenting the final bill to guests. Provide detailed explanations for each charge and be transparent about any additional fees or taxes. Property Management System software (PMS Software) can play a significant role in addressing billing discrepancies in hotels.
10. Lack of Personalization
Complaint: Guests appreciate personalized experiences and may feel overlooked if their preferences and requests are not acknowledged during their stay.
Solution: Use guest data and preferences to personalize their experience from the moment they book until they check out. Address guests by name, anticipate their needs, and tailor recommendations and amenities accordingly. Encourage feedback to continually improve and enhance the guest experience.
By proactively addressing these common hotel guest complaints and implementing effective solutions, hotels can elevate the guest experience and cultivate loyalty among their clientele. Prioritizing guest satisfaction not only leads to positive reviews and repeat business but also fosters a reputation for excellence in the competitive hospitality industry. Remember, a happy guest is the best endorsement for any hotel.
This whole live had my mind going haywire cuz I keep going back to these live snippets, Woo gives a different kind of comfort tbh.
I've had this thought, and it makes me kick my feet in the air....
Tumblr media
PAIRING: IDOL WOO X PRODUCER Y/N <afab reader>
FT: ATINY, SEONGHWA, HONGJOONG(mentioned), MINGI(mentioned)
WARNING ⚠️: periods(menstruation), crying, anxiety, kinda cringe at some places,
(though it's just a Fluffy little brainrot lmk if I missed any)
Enter to be tagged: 💌
What if you're his gf but also a producer at kq. You've never denied being in a relationship, but you've never disclosed it either. You are working on his solo album, but they have a tour, so you tag along to travel, be together, and write your love song. As always, Ms. PERIOD knocs your door at the most busy segment of your month, but you just need hugs and cuddles.
You've been up all day producing and scribbling lyrics for him and you just needed his review on the lyrics to get started on making the demo
Tumblr media
You are a producer at kq. You usually work with Joongie and Mingles. But lately, you've been working on Woo's solo album
Your pms and cramps have made it difficult for you to work throughout the day. In fact, you had been crying trying to finish up the work.
But you had finally overcome the tears and finished your work as you proudly strudel towards Woo's hotel room across the hallway.
The whole floor and the one were both booked for KQ staff. Knowing that you'd be in your boyfriend's room, you and joong had decided to convert one of the rooms into a makeshift studio so you could continue working on the album.
Fiddling with the key card, you hummed to the tune of the song you'd written for him. Not knowing he was on live, you give the door to your boyfriend's room a slight knock before letting yourself in with the keycard he'd given you.
With the chime of the lock system, the door opened, and you walked in, letting the door close behind you with a similar chime as it autolocked. You remove out shoes as you slip into your slipers and walk towards the table where Woo was.
The light pitter-patter of your feet, your soft sniffles(your nose is slightly stuffy due to the crying sesh), the scent of you had already caught Woo's attention. As he turns his head to you, extending his arms open for you, forgetting the fact that he hadn't told his fans about you.
You extend the iPad you'd written the lyrics in along with your little recorder you used to record demo samples, as you waddle your way to him. As you reach closer you realize that he's on live and you freeze slightly and then pull yourself together and try to be profesional.
"Oh I didn't know you were doing a live, I'll return later." You said backing up slightly.
Woo looked at the camera and smiled slightly, turning back to you he says,
"No need they wanted me to spoil something anyway."
He winks, motioning you to give him the iPad and recorder. You do as he demands and stand beside the table to avoid being in the camera's view.
"Atinyyy, say hi to J PD, she is working really hard on something I wanted to do for you, even when we are on tour across the world!!"
You giggle and blush. He teases you by calling you Jung PD/ J PD, ever since you'd had a drunken blabbing about how you wanted to marry him someday.
"Hi Atiny, I hope you like the surprise when it's out" you say extending your palm in front of the camera to wave. While Woo rummages through the drawers to find his wired earphones.
"Brief?" Woo looks at you, his tone soft and polite. "Yes, I wrote some lyrics for track1159am and altered it slightly. I also made a new sheet for the pice I told you about before. I'm kind of stuck between the tone, ig if you give it a listen and tell me which you think fits more I can go get the demo done."
You take a deep breath after your little brief, Woo nods pulling a chair across from him and taps on its seat telling you to sit.
He reads a few comments while telling his fans about the process of making music and what he's about to do.
'''J PD's voice is so cute😍, can we talk to her??''' ;
'''Thank you J PD🫶''' ;
'''Oppa, can we talk to J PD please🫣'''..
Woo read out loud, making you blush harder everytime he said "J PD "
"Woah!! They love you already!!" He said chuckling, "Do you want to talk to Atiny??"
"Okay.." You utter softly
"Atiny be polite okay, talk to J PD while I finish my work okay", he turns to you handing you his phone which he was using to read the comments "J PD have fun talking to my Atiny hmm?"
"Yes sure" you giggled at Atiny's reactions in the comments
Time passes as he continues to scribble on notes and repeating your voice memos, while you talk to Atiny traveling from topic to topic. You had explained them theories of music and how they are used in the studio, some questions they had, some ideas they gave that you'd note down on Woo's phone for later. Woo could tell you had made friends with his Atiny and it made him happy, that you were comfortable with them and vice-versa.
You were talking about songs, recommending some and getting agreements from Atiny. When some Atinys mentioned certain songs that had helped them when they felt down during their period weeks and you started talking on that and bonding with them as you shared some tricks your grandmother had taught you.
You get startled when Woo jolts in his seat, turning to you with concern in his eyes, completely forgotten the camera and the live and the fans of his you had been talking to for the past 20 minutes.
"You cried??" Tone soft and worried, iPad flung to the table, recorder still playing, sitting in his lap as he drags his chair close to yours. You're ears red with embarrassment as you recall your crying session from before, you look down, Woo's phone long forgotten, kept on the table.
You nod slightly, fiddling with your rings.
Woo pulls your chair closer, unknowingly bringing you into the frame though just a little.
"Baby are you okay? Are you hurt? What happened?" His hand on your cheek, his thumb gliding as though wiping your tears. The sudden shift of environment triggers you as your mood swings hit you with another wave of emotions.
"Mood swings" you utter under your breath as a sob escapes with it followed by a stabbing cramp making you wince and hold your stomach, tears welling up in your eyes.
"Why didn't you tell me you were on your period, baby we could postpone all work. You need rest. Want me to bring you something??"
"It's okay I'll just finish that and the.." You stop talking trying not to cry due to the pain. It felt like your cramps were waiting to recharge and strike you hard.
"No You're not working anymore, you're going to lay down and have some soup and then nap."
Woo says sternly but still softly so as to not alarm you in anyway.
Woo gives you warm water and starts winding up the little work set up. He reaches for the iPad and his phone when he realises the live was on.
He slightly panics and reads the comments anyway. Atinys waerw confused in the comments, trying to figure out what was going on and if you were his girlfriend or not. As Atinys realise that he's back and he's reading their comments they stop texting each other and prompt everyone to give him time to say something, reading this he takes a deep breath before letting it all out.
"Atiny, I know you might be mad at me, and I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner, but I was afraid having seen the way this news is usually received by fans in general. I will get straight to it. Yes, you're right she is my girlfriend, and I love her a lot, and I hope you understand. Though I didn't choose for this to happen, I don't regret it at all. I don't know what you think but I hope you take this badly."
''' WE ARE SO HAPPY FOR YOU WOO🤧🤧'''
'''WE SUPPORT YOU BOTH💖🤧'''
'''LOVE J PD ❤️ '''
Reading all the positive comments gives Woo relief as he thanks Atiny
"Please take care of us and love us the same Atiny" he says with a smile
''' GO TAKE CARE OF J PD❤️'''
'''TIPS FOR PERIOD CRAMPS.... LUV U J PD💗'''
''' WOO GO GET YOUR GIRL CHOCOLATE 🍫 '''
Woo reads the tips as he reads them out loud turning to you when he hears you sob harder.
"I'm so sorry, I ruined it"
"Huh??"
"I ruined your relationship with Atiny, it's my fault I ruined everything"
"No baby you didn't ruin anything"
"I did though"
"No love you haven't ruined anything, they love you, and they love us, they're happy about it see"
He shows you the comments filled with hearts and '''WE LOVE YOU J PD'''
"I'm sorry Atiny, thank you.." You say softly between sobs. Woo takes back his phone and tells Atiny that you need naps and ends the live.
He hugs you tight, while sending a text to the gc of the news and tells the Manger about it before ordering some soup and chocolates for you as directed by Atiny.
He then puts his phone down pulling apart from the hug. He runs to your luggage carrier to take the period towel. He lays it down on the bed and helps you lay down on it. He gets your hot bag you'd been carrying and warms some water in the kettle provided by the hotel, to put in it.
The door bell rings and he rushes to open it, revealing Seonghwa holding snacks, the chocolate and soup he had ordered and some balm for the pain as he had been recommended by his sister whom he'd given a quick call to make sure Woo wouldn't give you extra headache by giving you chocolate.
He walks past a stunned Woo and sets everything on the bed side table.
"Hey buddy! You okay?"
You were comfortable with Hwa he treated you like his own little sister and cared for you as if you were blood related.
"Nooo tummy hurt" you blabber like a child. He pats your head lightly and hands you the balm. "Here this should help. Get some sleep."
"Okayy, thaankuu"
He walks back to Woo by the door and pats on his shoulder. "Take care of her, we'll take care of the rest, don't worry Joong's already on it." And with that he leaves.
Woo sits beside you helping you sit up. He helps you finish your soup and gets you some warm tea after your done brushing your teeth. Which makes little sense to him since you lay under the sheets nibbling on the chocolate Hwa had brought earlier. It brings a smile to your face and that's all that matters to him.
After he's done downing his rice, he brushes his tea and reheats the water of your hotbag.
He lays beside you on his side, supporting his head with one hand and the other on your belly drawing circles with his palm on it. Your lower belly tends to get hotter when you're on your period seeming like a fever. The weight of his hand exerted a comforting pressure on you. His hand travels up your torso, as he cups your face and give you light kisses, filled with love and care and innumerable silent promises.
Your eyelids start to feel heavier, Woo reaches over you to switch off the lamp on your side of the bed, and then turns to switch off the one on his side.
You turn on your side facing him, he pulls you closer into his chest. His arm, now your pillow, his heartbeat your lullaby. You breathe in his sent, his breath fanning on your face, his hand wrapped around your head, fingers laced in your hair with light gliding pats.
You're drifting to slumber as you bumble your most sincere thought.
"I love you Woo"
He kisses your head as you both close your eyes.
"I'd give up the world for you My Love"
He says in a whisper, continuing to hum to your song until slumber consumes him.
