Mummified mythical babies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Made these lil guys with polymer clay and some steel wire. They’re going to be put in small plastic bags with specimen numbers on them to make them look like, yk, specimens.
I’m keeping one but thinking of selling the other two in my hometown :)

We were clearing out the attic and we found a relic from my school days 👀

We had to make a "movie monster head" from clay. This guy never got finished as I was meant to be using the laser cutter to make teeth and a scorpion tail tongue but it was always booked up 💔
So for context I would have been like 15 maybe? This thing is like 17 years old 😅 There's a little damage to his hair and one of his ears and the wire whiskers have rusted, but otherwise he's still going strong!

For #MetGala2023, we have given flesh to the machine. Introducing my very first horror statue in collaboration with the immensely talented sculptor/painter Many Legs, who was inspired by my viral Meat Gala AI horror series last year (see/read the story behind it) and came to me with a vision of bringing it to life in physical form. Months of virtual back-and-forth refinements resulted in a truly incredible 13” tall hand-painted sculpture piece that captures the uncanny horror of early AI while expanding the vision with tons of new details.
This is a really special project for me because getting into original figures/statues/etc has long been a bucket list item, and also this is a showcase of AI providing the spark that brought two human artists together to make real-world physical art. For all of the opining about AI “replacing” human artists, so far it has only led me to connect with more human artists. Collaborating with the machine is only the first step: It will always take creative people to make art mean something.
Six meticulously hand-painted 1/4 scale busts of Serzodul, Mother of Serpents signed/numbered by both of us including an exclusive signed/numbered print, dropping May 12th (just in time for Mother's Day!) direct from me. I’ll have more details, photos, pricing, etc next week - jump on my free newsletter so you don’t miss the full announcement!
Huge thanks to Many Legs for working so hard on this labor of love and bringing so much skill and creativity to The Meat Gala. And a huge eternal thanks to my wife Steph for producing this project, coordinating two creatives across the world, planning all the packing and shipping, all while doing tons of other things and keeping up with our large son.
See the full Meat Gala series and read about what it meant to me and to the early history of AI art.

The bust of a middle aged man made out of butter was sitting on my bathroom counter. It turned and began to scream at me, but the scream was utterly silent. Everything was so silent. I was so frightened of the butter bust.

The Lovecraftian Thrones at Puerto Vallarta's Rotonda Del Mar
The Lovecraftian Thrones at Puerto Vallarta's Rotonda Del Mar are a striking feature created by Mexican sculptor Alejandro Colunga. Located along the Malecón boardwalk, these surreal thrones blend elements of Lovecraftian horror and whimsical fantasy, featuring intricate designs with tentacles, eyes, and bizarre appendages. They invite visitors to sit and interact, offering a unique and memorable experience in Puerto Vallarta's cultural landscape.
