It looked like there was a bit of interest in an open (hopefully active!) server for discussing horror/yandere/murder Original Characters, so I have been carefully working on one for a few days and I THINK it's just about ready!

This is a server to make friends, to talk about your characters, to talk about other people's characters and to share art/writing and such in a friendly open space that might feel a little bit less terrifying than DM-ing on tumblr or out of the blue! People who have OC-focused blogs are welcome, as are people who are new to this sphere of tumblr and are thinking about making their own characters for various reasons (or just like seeing other people's!), I want it to be a very supportive space!

Due to the nature of all things discussed, anyone who wants to join the server must be over 18, no exceptions. I will not be running ID checks because (especially in the current climate), I don't want anybody to feel as though their information could be used against them, so I will be relying on an honour system. If you're suspected to be under 18, you will be banned, no exceptions. This server will have discussion of blood, gore, sexual subjects, murder, abuse - all of the same things you will find on most blogs of this type. If problematic content like that offends you, this is not the right server for you!

Please feel free to reblog this post for reach; although I will be modding the server, I absolutely want it to feel like a server that belongs to the members. It's about making new friends and new connections; there is absolutely no need to be following me specifically! Maybe you will meet a new best friend :).

It's 4am and I just woke up from a scary looping dream about how a cyborg race takes us over and decides we all need to die, but instead of just watching silly comfort videos to put me to sleep I instead chose to read about the insanity that is barnacles which of course led me to parasitic barnacles and of course that led me to learning about the crab hacker barnacle and how it's just a collection of tendrils inside of a crab body with a reproduction organ on the outside and the males are just a collection of sperm creation cells in the sac and what freaks me out is that this thing is basically a crustacean that's turned itself into a horrifying fungus and I feel like this is forbidden knowledge and that my life is forever changed for having learned or knowing it.

Anyway my attempts at going back to sleep are going great and I am not at all learning of what probably inspires Yames to make his video games and haha also barnacle geese are called that because idiots in the old UK thought they were born from the goose barnacle (no relation).

What even are barnacles????? We just don't know.

((Is it anyone's surprise if I say RPGs/JRPGs? You know...considering the little thief boy I write here?! Eheheeh...

I do love story driven games though, which is why Persona, Metaphor Refantazio, and the Mario RPG games are some of my favorites I've played. Turn-based seems to be my go to but I definitely want to try others like Final Fantasy 7 and Octopath. You know, more action/battle oriented gameplay. Outside of RPGs, I do enjoy farming simulators (don't ask how many hours I have in Stardew), visual novels, platformers, some first person shooter games, and rhythm games.

Listing off my favorite games is the MOST AMBIGOUS question you can ask me since I have a lot. The Metal Gear series holds a special place in my heart, moreso MGS 2 and 3. Persona is an OBVIOUS answer, as well as Metaphor Refantazio. The Great Ace Attorney games are phenomenal, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon is an all time favorite especially Explorers of Sky, and like ALL OF THE POKEMON GAMES TOO!!! Black/White and Sun/Moon especially so. My PS5 and Switch get a lot of use, and lately I've picked up my 3DS again to play more DS games I missed out on.

Now for THIS guy, there's a few genres we share the same sentiments for, those mostly being platformers, visual novels, and rhythm games. He's more of an old school fanatic playing games on like the Sega Genesis, Nintendo Gamecube, Game Boy Advanced, and those computer CD games. The guy loves puzzle games, those 'I Spy' adventures games you played on a computer, racing games like Mariokart, Mario Party games, stealth games, and...surprisingly a few horror games. He's dipped more into those when he moved to Shibuya, since he won't have his hovering mother breathing down his neck and snooping through his stuff.))
