She wore an off-the-shoulder black and gray horizontal striped mini dress that radiated playful sophistication. The bold horizontal stripes created a striking visual contrast, enhancing her curves and drawing the eye. The seamless alternation of black and gray bands embodied a modern aesthetic that perfectly complemented her figure. The off-the-shoulder design exuded a flirtatious charm, gracefully showcasing her shoulders and collarbone, adding a touch of elegance to the daring mini length. Her ensemble was completed with cute velvety Mary Jane heels, their luxurious texture adding an extra layer of refinement. The five-inch stiletto heels elevated her look, lending her an air of poised confidence. The modernistic dual Mary Jane straps, paired with a sleek, rounded toe, introduced a sweet, girlish charm that balanced the boldness of the stiletto height. Sheer black hosiery added a layer of allure, subtly highlighting the contours of her legs and providing a sophisticated touch to her outfit.
Together, the mini dress, velvety Mary Jane stiletto heels, and sheer black hosiery created a look that was irresistibly chic and delightfully enchanting, making her feel confident and beautiful with every step she took.

I built a miniature Va11 Hall-A Bar inside of my PC!!
Va11 Hall-A PC Parts & Build list
PC:
CPU : Intel I9 14900k
GPU: Intel Arc A770 16gb
Ram: Corsair Dominator 64gb 5600
Mobo: Maxsun Terminator Z790 D5 wifi
Hard drives M.2: Samsung 990 pro 2tb, Samsung 970 evo plus 1tb, CT 1tb, Adata 500gb
PSU: ROG Thor 850 P2
Cables: Cablemod.com custom shortened and sleeved
Water loop distro : EKWB FLT 120 reservoir + D5 pump
Water loop cpu block: ThermalTake Pacific Mx2 Ultra
Water loop radiators: Alphacool HPE 20 x 2
Water loop hardware: 15 Alphacool, 3 EKWB, 2 Alphacool soft, 2 granzon
Water loop tubes: EKWB Acrylic tube 14mm, Alphacool 13/10 soft
Air Cooling : ThermalTake Toughfan 120mm x 3 + Controller
Air Cooling : Noctua 40mm pwm server fan x 2 (non visible)
Additional RGB Control : Coolermaster controller
Case:
Lian Li PC V600, left side mount, released in 2006, I acquired it in 2015 from PC Recycle in sodo Seattle.
I had to track down a new foot, one had been missing since I acquired the case (ebay)
Mods:These are the case mods I did personally
Cut a hole for the cpu mounts in the Motherboard mount plate as this case was designed for older hardware
Cut two 120mm blowholes and added aluminum covers (Dremel)
Cut Front and rear windows into side panels (Dremel Max)
Moved PSU from vertical placement in the lower right side of the case in front of the CPU to horizontal placement in the top left in old drive bays.
The PSU bracket had to be cut to show the OLED on the side.
Modded the side panel rail slide to accommodate the PSU, I used the original aluminum stand the psu was on, cut in half and epoxied with JB weld.
Changed and moved Power/ Reset switch to the back of the case, shortened and spliced the cable
I cut and bent my own 14mm acrylic tubes (hobby miter, heat gun).
Cut and made two way mirror for the front panel
Plastic "truss" is both functional and aesthetic. It came from a Gunpla accessory kit and has two cables passing through it and it acts as the GPU support. I could only get red and had to paint it.
Notice that some logos are missing/ covered, I dislike having a case as an advertisement. The Rog eye on the PSU is mostly covered but iykyk, most of the word "Intel" on the ARC GPU, Two of the Thermaltake logos on the fan edges, the Paint on the Thermaltake Mx2 Ultra and Maxsun terminator heatsink. (I will eventually cover the visible SSD with a heat sink, cover the fan info on the rear and work a cover for the word "dominator"). the one logo explicitly unchanged is the LianLi case badge, if I think of a perfect replacement, maybe then.
Mod I did not do:
I did NOT shorten and sleeve my own cables, I used cable-mod.com. I am not confident in my ability to do this.
BAR:
"Bar Tiny" Re-ment sets from Japan, 17 sets involved.
I customized the color of the bar and chairs and shortened one table for the mezzanine. The whole bar, minus barback- is on a removable 7 inch piece of black acrylic for cleaning.
Jill Stingray Nendoroid
Jils Cat, it sleeps on the GPU
Jill Stool: Jill is glued to a cute doll stool to see over the bar
Jill Accessories non-Nendoroid: cellphone, purse, coat (ebay)
Dorothy Haze Nendoroid
will be added on release.
Bar Back:I made this myself
Black acrylic sheet, and frosted acrylic rods.
Doll Light power kit: 8 Led lights, 4 incandescent lights
USB Doll light power strip
Other Bar Accessories:
Overhead Hanging farmhouse light
trash, mop, broom, pan, mop bucket,
2 blue fuzzy chairs
Miniature plants
Miniature Microphone
Mini bottle Dom Perignon, an xmas gift from my friend nemo, it's
on the top shelf
Problems and changes:
1. ARGB, pretty pretty pain in the ass. 4 pieces of software........
2. The water loop was changed extensively as hardware came in and space limitations were discovered. The biggest change is that I originally planned to have one radiator on the front of the case, the tubes running over Jills head and to light the tubes as lighting for the bar, to do this the fan would have been in the case proper pushing the whole bar to far into the mobo, it didn't work, so the loop was moved to the top of the case and caused me to have one complex bent tube
Second, I had planned the loop to use one sideport on the distro, but space limitation moved both ports to the top causing the complex fittings setup in that corner.
3. The MOBO, sigh. This has been clearly the most challenging choice I made in this build, I really wanted it to work perfectly too, but I rolled those dice because: Aesthetic+function, the board I wanted (https://en.colorful.cn/en/home/product?mid=84&id=400d19bc-5655-49e1-b391-df00b60935ef) was to great a risk for the cost. This was a silver medal.
I generally dislike the design options I had in the Z790 series of the big board makers (I HATE big logos), especially the full ATX, there was one M that interested me, I should have picked it . This board has potential, but the BIOS is underdeveloped and compatibility has been problematic, I had to do a tricky outdated style BIOS update right from the box, and have had to reset the cmos a couple times. It skips BIOS on general boot and though stable, it will have to be addressed eventually, it doesn't have a proper sleep because of some issue between uefi & legacy. It may end up replaced, which will require a full build teardown.
the Turbo fan built into the board doesn't seem to function
Alos, the two argb connections on the mobo dont work, or I can't get them to recognize anything, necessitating the Coolermaster controller for the PSU and Distro. it is shoved behind the distro along with a Noctua 40mm

Portrait of an Empire
Flufftober
Day 20: Paw
It had been a long time since Sheev had had cause to be around babies. Children, even—not counting the Queen of Naboo, of course. Despite his galaxies of knowledge about infinitely useful topics such as Sith alchemy, trade and tax laws of the Republic, the history of certain clothing designs, art dealers and the art world, and, most importantly, how to manipulate people, he did not know how to hold a baby.
And now Vader was hovering at his shoulder. And Mas Amedda was standing, stock still beside him, radiating disdain. And there was a holocam in his face.
Sheev lifted Luke like he was presenting a particularly tall trophy. “Behold,” he said, weaker than he’d intended. “My grandson.”
Luke made a face as he shifted. At least one of the camera operators gasped in horror.
Right. Not that way, then.
Sheev shifted his grip to Luke’s buttocks and lifted him up against his chest, so Luke was staring wide-eyed over his shoulder at Vader. Vader made an anxious noise. Luke farted. The smell sank into Sheev’s robes, and he worried something else might follow.
“One more moment, please,” he asked—he did not beg—from the interviewer, whose carefully blank face blatantly belied her horror.
He pawed at Luke’s head and lowered him again, so he was horizontal. There were a few more gasps, and Vader definitely reached out at one point to either snatch the boy away or catch him when he inevitably fell, but he did not reach out far enough for the holocams to pick him up. Luke fell back into this grip with a happy squeal, staring up at Sheev with his blue eyes. He felt very fragile. Sheev brought his arms in to hold him a little more securely, right against his chest.
The interviewer breathed a small sigh of relief. “Now,” she said with a winning smile, “we can begin. We’re coming to you live today with His Imperial Majesty, Emperor Palpatine himself! Alongside Lord Vader, and his absolutely adorable son—”
Luke was still watching Sheev, fascinated. Sheev watched him back. Unconsciously, he began to sway, and Luke gave a little coo when he did. He laughed. Sheev did not share his laugh, but he did watch him more intently.
The tiny twitch of the muscles of his face. His small, trembling noises. Those clear, expansive eyes…
“Your Majesty?” the interviewer was saying. It sounded like she’d repeated the question several times already. “How do you feel about this new addition to the Imperial family?”
Sheev didn’t feel the need to answer that.

Summary: Reader is a spider!person from earth-2099 and Kate Bishop is curious about why she's so drawn to them.
The suit was hidden behind the back panel of your closet, a small piece of faux wood that had been glued down, but then dampened away. It was easy to pop away from the rest of the structure.
You used the light of your phone, the small circle catching the vibrant colors, the blacks and the poisonous red, the deep silvers that reflected with the green of your inhuman eyes. You were content to leave it here, in this universe, when just two days ago you were going to rip a hole into the space-time continuum.
“Your place is…”
“Sad. It’s sad.” You pulled the suit the rest of the way out, rising to your feet. Kate was leaning by the window, looking at the view of the rain-damp street. Her features were shaded with a flashing green sign, then a dark orange. “You can say it.”
“Yeah, it’s sad. You need some like, houseplants or something.”
You couldn’t help the smile that bloomed against your lips. Decorating had never been your forte. Your Kate had a designer’s eye, and by the way this universe’s Kate scrunched up her nose and tracked the wall space with her grey stare, you knew this one did too.
She took the edge of the suit into her hands when you got close enough for her to do so. You both held the fabric, her fingers tracing the horizontal lines that wicked electroplate. Your breath mingled with hers, eyes moving from the suit, lingering for just a moment on her lips before you thought better of it and focused on the large spider emblem in the center.
“You know I don’t-“
“Can we talk?”
You both spoke at the same time, heat moving to your cheeks. You shook your head, chuckling nervously “You go.”
Kate took a deep breath and squeezed the fabric, letting out a small, tepid breath. You had never seen her nervous before. There was always a confidence to her actions and her words. There was a pinkness to her skin, moving up past the collar of her shirt.
“Things are complicated, and I understand that. You’re from another universe, your homicidal father could be here any minute with your brother who also really, really wants to kill you.”
“Kate,”
“Right, sorry. That’s not the point. Do you remember the day that you moved in?”
Of course, you did. You were wet, and cold and had placed your clothes on the radiator to dry off. Once they had, you wandered down to the lower part of the building. There were a few damp dollars in your pocket and it was just a short walk to the bodega. Your stomach clenched in hunger.
Kate was pushing every button on the directory, soft beeps moving through the lobby. You glanced around, looking up the stairway, down the hall where a room full of washing machines lumbered in a near-silent hum.
Eventually, you opened the door, staring at the woman in front of you. Rain dripped from her hood, loose strands of hair saturated. Her eyes were gray, something you noticed under the light positioned above the door. Her breath was puffing in front of her. Kate would leave you slack-jawed in every universe, you decided in that moment.
“I… forgot my key.” She smiled weakly.
You couldn’t manage words, instead you stepped aside, watching as she lugged a few bags in with her, a few drops hitting her jacket after sliding across her nose. This was a cruel joke. You’d entered this world without permission and now karma was testing you as it always had. There was no way to avoid her.
“You know, you shouldn’t go barefoot in here. This building is not up to code.”
You croaked out “Shoes are wet,”
Kate smiled and it made your knees feel weak. You shoved your hands into your dampened pockets. Where were your manners? Buried under the pure shock that came with the ringing in your ears, was your natural instinct to cater to not only Kate, but every single person you came across.
After learning how to play the piano when you were six years old, your mother ushered you into the cello, and then the violin. Anything she could get her hands on. You’d play at family gatherings, and at charity events. Your music became guilt, and that guilt became the need to please.
In this case, it manifested in offering to help Kate upstairs with her bags. Anything was better than the out of order sign on the elevator, and even if it was in working order, you wouldn’t trust it with your life- unnaturally fast healing or not.
Your fingers brushed against hers and the both of you pulled back as electricity danced across your skin and ended at your elbow. It pulsed, something of undeniable warmth that was replaced with a deep cold. The only way to quell it would be to press your fingers against hers, to touch her once more.
“Sorry,” You apologized quickly, filling the awkward space by grabbing half of her bags and sprinting up the stairs. You smiled “Race you.”
Kate seemed disoriented, blinked a few times. “You don’t even know where I live!”
You had feigned being out of breath when you got to the top of the stairs and Kate thanked you profusely for helping her with the groceries. Your heart beat a little faster knowing that she lived across the hall. And naively you believed you could form a friendship.
“Of course, I remember.”
“It’s all I thought about for days.” Kate scoffed, shaking her head. “There were so many times when I just stood in front of your door, waiting to knock before I realized I had no good reason to talk to you. And the thing is, Y/n, I knew that you felt it too that day. And I know that you’ve felt it everyday since.”
“Kate, there are-“
“Circumstances, I know. What happened to your Kate, and so many Kate’s in-between is… I can’t even imagine what you’ve gone through. But maybe after all of this time, the universe is doing something for you”
You swallowed hard, trying to quell the dryness in your mouth. Weak light is cast against her features and her expression is hopeful. The two of you had stepped closer, inadvertently through recall of memories. Her exhale was warm against your collarbone, you closed your eyes and whimpered.
Kate’s hand softly cupped your cheek, and you leaned into it, her thumb gently tracing the contours of your face. “Sometimes, you have to do something for yourself. Sometimes, you have to take what you deserve.”
You opened your eyes, stared into Kate’s. They had the same gold flecks, the same rings of emotion that bloomed from the iris. You leaned forward and took what you wanted, pressed your lips against Kate’s and melted into the kiss. She hummed against your lips, dropping the suit and using the collar of your shirt to pull herself closer.
Your hands were on her hips, squeezing mildly to assure that she was there. Kate tasted honey-sweet, her tongue moving against your bottom lip, begging for entrance. The kiss was slow and deliberate. You never wanted to pull away.
That same electric feeling was dancing across your throat, filling your body with tendrils of fate. Kate’s fingers were smoothed across your jaw. She pulled back, drew in a sloppy breath. Her forehead was against yours, both of you panting.
Kate’s voice was a mulled whisper “There’s no way I’m letting you leave now.”
“I wasn’t planning on it.”
That was easier said than done, you realized, not fifteen minutes later when your apartment was brimming with people you had yet to meet in this world. All of whom had explicit opinions about your decorating skills (lack thereof) and you as a person.
You felt uncomfortable and exposed, your suit hugging your body, mask in hand, arms crossed over your midsection. Kate’s eyes lingered on you, the tightness of the mesh not leaving too much to the imagination. You felt your cheeks heat up, clearing your throat.
Kate really had rallied the troupes. You had to hand it to her. This felt like an odd meeting of a group of superheroes that had a higher body count than the Avengers themselves. And still, you waited awkwardly for the last few people to straggle in.
“So let me get this straight,” Yelena said, leaning against your empty kitchen counter. “You are Spiderman, but Peter is also Spiderman?”
“Yes,” You both answered at the same time, shooting each other a quiet look. You cleared your throat and continued. “I’m from Earth-2099, I’m that worlds Spiderman.”
Cassie raised her hand in a small wave, calling attention to herself “Did you also get bitten by a radioactive spider?”
“My father, he spliced my DNA with a spider. It was the first time he had done so successfully. Hence why he’s so determined to get me back.”
“Huh,” Clint lilted his head to the side “creepy.”
You couldn’t agree more, nodding felt like an understatement of the obsessive tracking. There was still an apprehension lurking just beneath the surface, but watching the five people that surrounded you, so willing to help, some of the weight had been lifted.
Yelena Belova eyed you nervously, she was slow to trust, and it seemed even slower in this world. You could hardly blame her. She was a spy, after all. There had been worlds where she never broke free from her widow hold. There were others where she was never inducted in the first place.
There was one in particular that you remembered where Yelena had been a wedding caterer. That freaked you out more than anything you had seen likewise. Right now, she had her arms crossed over her chest, eyes flitting from you, back to Kate.
“Have the two of you had sex?” she asked bluntly.
“What?”
Kate’s voice was six octaves too high. You made a startled noise and put your head in your hands. Clint made a disgusted noise that mirrored exactly how you felt. You said “Maybe we should come up with some type of strategy,”
“We should wait for the others, no?” Yelena said, shrugging her shoulders with disinterest. “There is a weird energy between the two of you. We should address it before putting ourselves into a risky situation. It can change the dynamics of the fight.”
“She has a point,” Peter said, “have you?”
Kate grits her teeth, had settled back into her place next to you. Your shoulders were against one another, and even the subtly of that touch sent currents to your fingertips. “No, we haven’t.”
Cassie asked, “but there is something there, right?”
You glanced at Kate, who had pulled her bottom lip between her teeth, chewed on it. “It’s… complicated. But I believe so.”
“There is a wedding ring on the chain around your neck.”
“Lena.” Kate warned.
“It’s alright, I get it. I’m practically a stranger. I’ve given you no reason to trust me, much-less fight beside me. In 2099, I was just a musician, and more than that, I was a wife. Kate was my wife.” You swallowed back the thickness in your throat, the metal taste in your mouth, the memories. “My father killed her.”
“That’s all I need to know.”
Rain had started to fall generously by the time you had descended the stairs in the apartment building. There were spots that you knew to avoid; a sliver at the top of the third-floor landing that wasn’t sealed against the weather. A bucket on the stretch between doors 207 and 205.
Normally, these areas would be something you took note of in passing. But today, you lingered. The warmth had slowly left your bones the closer you got to the lobby. You craved Kate’s touch, her reassurance. This was the first time you had been alone in the last few days.
There was anger there, too, mixed cruelly with the fear. It made the suit hugging your body hot and sticky. Your father had always pushed you to the side, had moved you to the very edge of the family photos as a power trip. He’d entertain your one-minute of stage time between tentative bites of mashed potatoes and pot roast.
The darkness in his eyes lingered each time you closed your own. There were small bursts of rage that would escape him. He’d snap at your mother in a hushed voice. Your father’s receptionist would sob quietly into wadded up tissues as you waited to be buzzed in. His hand would move fast, reddening the skin of your cheek.
You knew better than to lift your gaze. The one time that you did, he delivered another open-palmed smack to the face. There was a time to stand, and a time to fall. As you walked down the final flight of steps, you knew that if you wanted to stay in this universe, in the timeline that delivered you a second chance, you’d have to not only stand- but you’d also have to hit back.
The streets were nearly empty, a broken fishbone moon cracked against the sky. Dark gray clouds enveloped it, plunging you into darkness and then welcoming the pale light once more. You could hear the buzz of the neon signs over your own breathing, your mask slipping silently over your features.
Carefully, you made your way between your apartment building and one that had long since been condemned. Your eyes darted to each side, idling over bags of trash, sour and pungent as their rotted scent mixed with fallen rain. The coast was clear, and you scaled the wall with ease, slipping into a high window that had long ago been hollowed out.
You had the pocket watch. You had a plan.
Deep flashes of colors in the most vibrant of blues, and whites, and reds flashed as you removed your mask, strands of damp hair falling into your gaze. Broken beams of wood, dust and shattered glass started to hum around you, your finger on the ribbed button of the watch.
Dozens of times, had you hit this button. You’d watch as the air in front of you solidified and then tore in half, much like a piece of sheet music. Objects in the room danced around in stilted notes, a concerto of sharps and flats. You breathed in the electricity of the room. The composition threatened to pull you in, begged you to let its tendrils grip onto your fingers, weave into your veins.
This time, you wouldn’t let it. Your finger moved from the switch, and everything went dark. The room baked in silence, your chest heaving up and down. Glass, nails, and insulation slammed to the unsteady floor of what was once an office, or a home. Dust had been kicked up, caught in the porcelain light.
“The light,” you explained, circling the poorly drawn building with the black marker “It’ll let you know where I am. Once you see it flashing, you need to get ready. I’m almost certain that he’ll pick up on the signal and be there within five minutes.”
“Almost?” Cassie asked, her ankles were crossed, fingers dancing strangely on your empty counter. “I don’t like almost. What if he’s faster?”
“Or slower. Are you sure that’s erasable?” Peter said.
Kate frowned at the one piece of art that you purchased. It wasn’t important, a mock copy of sunflowers by Vincent Van Gogh. The colors had faded, and the glass cracked where the wood met glass. She used her sleeve and squeaked it against the front. Erasable, it was not.
“It doesn’t matter. I’m 99.9% certain that it will take at least that long for them to get to me. Fifteen seconds for the signal to reach them, 45 seconds for the Lyla to get my exact coordinates. Three minutes for the machine to boot up, and one minute for them to travel through space and time.”
Yelena was pacing back and forth, watching each part of the map that you drew. You’d expertly rendered the stairways in the abandoned building, the entry point of each window. She chewed on her bottom lip, stopped behind Clint- who sat cross legged on the floor.
“Theoretically, there should be a weak spot in the unit above this window, correct?”
You nodded, pushing down on the cap of the marker. “The whole building will be weak. It looks like it’s been rotting since the early 2000’s.”
“I will take Cassie with me, and we will be above you. That way, we can hear if they are in that .1%. Kate and Clint, it makes sense if the two of you stay on the rooftop of this building. Range will not be an issue.”
“And me?” Peter asked.
“Outside the door,” you directed, “There’s an entry point on the west side of the building that will give you access to the hallway. You’ll have to be careful, I’m not sure how sturdy the floor is. But I want you nearby. You know how Miguel fights, what his default is. Spider-senses and all.”
Kate shook her head. “I want to be closer.”
A cacophony of voices interrupted her suggestion, yours included. Different degrees of objection. Clint shook his head, mumbling a “No way, kid” and Yelena said something in Russian that you couldn’t’ quite grasp.
“Absolutely not.”
Kate frowned, and the same fire that you had seen since you were six years old burned deep within her. You didn’t tell a Bishop what to do once they made up their mind. Not without the right type of authority, the right type of conviction.
Gently, you guided her eyes to yours, nudging her chin with the edge of your hand. “Kate, listen to me. I know you want to be there, but you simply cannot. Your blood has been on my hands once, and I swear that it’ll never be again. There is a fate worse than death at stake here.”
Your thumb moved over the smoothness of the gold ring around your throat, tucked neatly into your suit. It was a good luck charm, you supposed. Though, after slipping it from Kate’s finger, easy to do with the wetness of her wounds, before gliding into another universe, it hardly felt as such.
There were flashes as you pressed your lips to the inscription of the date propositions were made in the rain. When you clenched your eyes shut, you could see the way she held you close on prom night. Her hand was steady on the small of your back during your fathers speech. Her words were soaked in remorse as blood blossomed past cracked lips.
Your grip tightened around the ring, cold and hard. Anger welled in your chest like cracking waves against a rocky shore. It never went out to sea; however, each rush was stronger than the last. Mere seconds now, you could feel it in the air.
Kate told you that she didn’t feel any pain as she clung to your shirt that fateful night. Red swipes of blood were left against your cheek as you held her hand there, clammy and half-dead. You would do anything to take away the pain that she claimed didn’t exist.
Now, as the world around you swarmed with particles of energy and you took a small step back to avoid the ripping of space, and time, you knew that pain had been saved. It had been embedded deep within you until the moment presented itself.
You were quite unceremonious about your entries into different universes. There was typically a force that pushed you through instead of guiding you. But as you made out the two silhouettes between the flashing atoms, there was a chill that settled over you.
He was taller than you remembered, though, the last time you had seen him, he’d been dwarfed in a lab coat. His facial hair was unkempt and there were deep gray bags under his eyes. Your father had since shaved, held his shoulders back with a certain type of power that made you nauseous.
Still, you stood strong, breath coming in faster rhythm’s until you willed it to still entirely as the universe patched itself back up. Miguel postured by his side, smiling wickedly, teeth glinting against the bleached moonlight.
“I see you’ve embraced the gift I’ve given you.” His voice was gravel, his smile half-feral, half-charming as he lilted his head to the side with the slowness of a man anticipating this moment for centuries. “Spiderman.”

[ID: Eight original designs for the Sphere from the book Flatland: A Romance of Many Dimensions, drawn as circles against a grey background, with a long column of color palettes on one side, being crossed off as the images go. The first two images show two versions of the same design, which is black, with dark blue-green linesart. He has two eyes, and a cat-like mouth with his tongue stuck out. His eyes have black sclera, white irises, and black pupils. Above his eyes are small round eyebrows, and dark green markings like eye makeup. His tongue is dark green as he sticks it out. The second version of this drawing has a repeating pattern of many grey shapes against the black surface.
The second design is black with thin dark magenta stripes, with eight eyes arranged in a half circle, and two mouths with sharp teeth.
The third design is half white and half cyan, with round eyes with heterochromia. The right eye has a white iris and a cyan sclera, and the right has white sclera and cyan pupil. Around each eye are purple triangles pointing outward like a radiation symbol, and pairs of dark red lines between them, radiating out like sound waves. His chin has a stripe of dark green, with two thin red stripes on either side. The fourth design is pale yellow, with large dark blue eyes, and a dark blue chin under a jagged mouth like a beak. Sharp orange and black diamond shapes frame the eyes like fancy sunglasses, with orange, black, and dark blue spots on the forehead. The fifth design is horizontally striped blue, white, and dark grey. In the center is a large oval shaped light red eye with a diamond pupil, with the eye surrounded by smaller light red diamonds, with small heart shapes on the top and bottom.
The sixth design is pale yellow, with large oval eyes with pale blue-green sclera, matching large circles on the cheeks. The irises are the same yellow as the face, with dark blue pupils. Above the eyes are sky blue eye shadow, and in the center of the face is a dark blue triangle like a nose. The mouth is open in a grin, showing a blue tongue and darker blue inside.
The seventh is covered in thin horizontal stripes of pale green, yellow, and dusty blue, with sharply pointed eyes like a stylized cat, with triangle pupils and a jagged iris. The mouth stretches across the whole face, with a small black diamond in the center.
The eighth design is white and teal with diagonal curving stripes, with an animal-like face with sharp teeth, a large round nose like a cat or dog, and rounded diamond shaped eyes with dark blue sclera and green pupils.
End ID.]
More public domain designs for the Sphere, free for anyone to use for anything, and modify however you want. Please either use a public domain design, or create an original design for the Sphere rather than making fanart for the 2007 film by notoriously racist, misogynistic, transmisic, classist bigot Ladd Ehlinger.
pro tip: put a blank line of text at the top of a post before adding images because tumblr's obnoxious and won't let you add a title after you make the post without moving every single picture manually....
Repeating pattern for the 2nd image:
[ID: a repeating pattern of grey shapes against a white backgeoubd. There are rings, circles, pentagons, and lines, either solid or made from dots or thin lines. End ID.]
you can also just scribble and simplify it

DIY Paper Allium
Project by Kate Alarcón:
Alliums have always seemed a little bit magical to me. In a garden, the long, smooth stems blend in with the other greenery, and the big globes of tiny periwinkle flowers almost seem to float in mid-air. I imagine them growing in a fairytale garden, alongside foxgloves and moon flowers.
When I set out to design a paper version, I wanted to capture that enchanted, ethereal quality. I chose a very lightweight crepe for the petals, and constructed it so that each floret radiates out from a central ball on a long wire. This design gives each petal room to stand out from its little floret, uncompressed by the florets around it. I also scaled it up to be about the size of a large cantaloupe. The end result is a big, magical globe of delicate blue flowers that is almost a bouquet in its own right.
I wanted the flower to feel free-spirited, so I cut my petals freehand, which creates little variations between florets. Once you’ve cut several sets of petals, you’ll probably find that you don’t need the template anymore, either.
This allium isn’t especially difficult to make, but producing enough florets to complete the globe is a big undertaking. I suggest making them a few at a time over a couple of weeks while watching Netflix. You can insert them into the center ball as you go — it’s the safest place for them, and it’s motivating to watch your flower fill out.
If you run out of steam before finishing, don’t despair! My assistant Emma and I noticed that a partially covered flower looks a lot like a dandelion that’s been blown and wished on. And if that doesn’t do it for you, I’ve got just one of these guys up in my shop. —Kate

Supplies
allium templates here
Aleene’s Original Tacky Glue
fine crepe in “French Violet” from Rose Mille
heavy crepe in “Eggplant” and fine crepe in “Olive Green” from Castle in the Air
18 inch lengths of 18 and 20 gauge stem wire
paper scissors
wire snips
small awl
0ptional: millinery stamens that coordinate with your paper color (Rose Mille or 32° North for similar)
0ne 1.5” polystyrene ball (I buy mine at Michaels)
one 18″ length of vinyl tubing 3/8” outer diameter, ¼” inner diameter. (Home Depot and Lowe’s both carry it in the plumbing department)
A note about crepe paper grain:
The grain of the crepe paper runs parallel to the roll or fold. Crepe paper stretches horizontally, but not vertically, so you will almost always cut petals with the grain, placing the template so that the tiny wrinkles in the paper run up and down the template, not across. Cutting with the grain means that you cut in the same direction the crinkles are running; cutting across the grain means that you cut perpendicular to these crinkles.
For the stem:
Cut a 15” length of tubing at a very sharp angle. This pointy end will be the top of your stem, and you’ll insert the point into the polystyrene ball to help anchor the stem. Cut three of the 18 gauge wires so that they’re 16” long. Insert the wires into the length of tubing to hold your stem fairly straight while you wrap it.
Cut a long ¼” wide strip of the olive fine crepe across the grain. Dot glue at 1 cm intervals along the strip. Just below the top edge of your tubing, below the sharp angle you cut, begin wrapping the strip around the tubing, holding it at about a 45-degree angle to the tubing, so that it spirals down as you wrap. For a smooth finish, hold the paper taught and slightly stretch it as you wrap.
If you need to add strips, just glue the end of one strip in place, and begin wrapping the next strip about ½” above where the previous one ends.
For the flower center:
Using template A, cut a small oval from the purple heavy crepe. Dot one side of the oval with glue, and then place it on the polystyrene ball. Stretch the oval around the ball, and hold it in place a few seconds to allow the glue to set.
On the opposite end of the polystyrene ball from the center of the oval you just applied, pierce the ball with your awl. Use your awl to widen the top of this hole by holding it at a 45-degree angle to the surface of the ball and moving it all the way around the stem hole.
Cut one template B from the purple heavy crepe. Make sure the grain runs up and down the template. (The top edge should be zigzagged.)
Dot glue all over the purple crepe, including the points. Place the polystyrene ball about 2” from the bottom of the purple crepe piece. The points and the end of the ball covered by the purple oval should face up. Wrap the crepe around the ball, stretching it so that it molds to the ball.
Press and smooth the points down against the top of the ball. If there are any slight gaps between the smoothed down points, they will be camouflaged by your purple oval, and no white should show through.
Inserting the stem:
Pull the three 18 gauge wires out about four inches from the pointy end of the wrapped tubing. Insert these wires about 1” into the hole in your polystyrene ball. Slide the pointy end of your tubing up the wires, and pierce the hole with the pointy tip. You don’t need to insert the tubing very far; it just helps to have the tip anchored in the ball.
Gather the crepe “skirt” beneath the ball tightly around the stem and scrunch it to allow the glue to set around the stem. Dot a long ¼” strip of olive fine crepe with glue and cover this purple crepe skirt by wrapping the stem beneath the bottom of the covered polystyrene ball, until you meet up with the section of the stem already wrapped in olive crepe.
Floret center:
Snip your 20 gauge wire into 3.75” lengths. Cut a 1″ tall strip of the heavy purple crepe and stretch it all the way out as shown above. Cut this strip into sections that are wider than your template C. You can use the template C to cut this little fringe piece, or just freehand a similarly sized rectangle with three or four irregular points along the top edge. Dot glue along the bottom three quarters of this little piece. If you’re using double-headed millinery stamens, fold two of these stamens in half and place them on top of the jagged purple rectangle to make a little cluster of four stamens. Place the stamens on top of the little purple piece, so that the folded point on the stamens lies slightly below the middle of the rectangle. Place your short wire on top of the stamens, so that the tip of the wire lies slightly above the middle of the rectangle.
Wrap the rest of the rectangle loosely around your wire and scrunch the bottom to set the glue.
For the petals:
Cut a 2.25” x 3.75” rectangle of French violet fine crepe. The longer edge should run across the grain. Accordion or fan fold the strip (fold over, under, over, under) so that you have five layers of paper. Use the box around template D as a guide for how widely to space the folds (about ¾”). The fold lines should run with the grain and need to line up fairly precisely.
You should have a little folded packet of fine crepe about the size of the box around template D on the template sheet. Place template D on the packet, aligning the bottom of the template with the bottom edge of the packet.
The bottom right and left edges of the template D are marked with a dotted line that indicates that this section should not be cut, but rather aligned with the fold lines on your petal packet. Leaving this section intact on both sides will ensure that you have a continuous strip of petals.
In the photo, I’ve opened up my packet of petals to show what a continuous strip will look like, but you won’t actually open your packet yet. First, gently twist the bottom of the unopened petal packet. This will create evenly spaced crinkles that will make it easier to gather the bottom of the petal strip.
Untwist and open the petal packet. Make sure that each petal is facing the same direction and that none are twisted. Lay them side by side, very close together but not overlapping, across your forefinger, and then lay down your thmb to hold them in place. Pinch the width of the bottom of the petal strip to gather it. Dot glue on this pinched section and place your floret centers so that the top of the glue line is just above the bottom of the little piece of heavy crepe you wrapped around the tip of the wire.
Loosely wrap the gathered petal strip around the stamen wire. Adjust until the petals seem evenly spaced around the wire, and then scrunch the glued section of the strip around the stem.
Cut a ¼” wide by 4” long strip of purple heavy crepe across the grain, and dot it with glue. Beginning just under the petals, wrap the wire to about half an inch from the end of the wire, leaving a section exposed to help pierce the ball.
Push the petals back so that they lie perpendicular to the floret wire.
You’ll need between 80 and 100 florets depending on how densely you pack them into your allium.
Inserting the florets:
Beginning at the very top of the flower center, use your awl to pierce a hole in the covered polystyrene ball.
For extra security, you can dip the exposed wire on the end of your floret in glue before inserting it. (I usually don’t do this because it makes it hard to reposition the florets without tearing the paper covering the ball, but if your florets are falling out of the ball, then it’s probably worth it.)
Add a little circle of florets all around this first floret, spacing your holes about 1/8” apart. I don’t worry about being too precise with my hole spacing and just eyeball it, making sure that, overall, the florets look evenly distributed. Continue working downward, adding florets around the ball toward the stem.
The trickiest part of this project is adding the final florets around the base of the ball where you’ve inserted the stem, because you can’t push against the top of the flower to hold it in place while you insert the wires in the bottom. Instead, you can hold the stem firmly to anchor the ball while you insert the last florets up around the bottom of the ball.

I cannot for the life of me draw humans, so I’ve made some anthro designs for the Mechanisms crew!
In rows from right to left, these are Jonny as a Bengal tiger, Nastya as a gyrfalcon, Ashes as a black kite, Brian as a mouflon, Ivy as a barn owl, the Toy Soldier as a maned wolf, Tim as a coyote, Raphaella as a golden eagle, and Marius as a red fox.
Image descriptions below the cut - be aware they’re long.
[Image set ID: A set of nine digitigrade anthropomorphic designs for the Mechanisms crew. They’re drawn digitally, and have transparent backgrounds. All are wearing their usual outfits, though none have hats. End set ID.]
[Image one description: Jonny d’Ville drawn as a Bengal tiger. The stripes are jagged, mimicking his usual eye makeup. In contrast to his main fur and underbelly’s orange shades (underbelly being almost cream), the stripes are slightly blue-tinted black. Jonny is baring his teeth, and has dark grey eyes. End description one.]
[Image two description: Nastya Rasputina drawn as a gyrfalcon. Her colors are slightly blue-tinted greyscale. There is dark grey barring on her wings, a streak from her eye to mid-neck, and a few small spots around her neck. Nastya’s arms and legs are pale yellow, with dark grey talons and beak. She has a neutral expression, and her eyes are dark blue. End description two.]
[Image three description: Ashes O’Reilly drawn as a black kite. Their colors are a few shades of brown and a warm dark grey. Their face and the middle of their wings are cream-colored, while the tops of their wings, low neck, and tail feathers are more moderate. Their wings’ feather tips and a few spots on their neck are warm black. There is light barring on their wings. Ashes’s arms and legs are a moderate yellow, with medium grey talons and beak. They have a neutral expression and brown eyes. End description three.]
[Image four description: Drumbot Brian drawn as a mouflon. He is mechanical, looking to be made of bronze, with some fur-like texture on his neck. Many bolts and screws are visible at the edges of panels. Brian’s horns, hooves, and nose are a darker color than his main body; his hands, feet, and the end of his snout are lighter-colored than his main body. His eyes are yellow and have rectangular, horizontal pupils. Brian’s expression is neutral. End description four.]
[Image five description: Ivy Alexandria drawn as a barn owl. There are bronze panels visible on the side of her head. The undersides of her wings, her face, and front half of her neck being cream. There are warm grey specks across the middle of her wings and around the back of her neck. The rest of Ivy’s feathers are a moderate brown, while her arms and legs are a tan color, and her talons are grey. Her beak is pale yellow, and her expression is neutral. End description five.]
[Image six description: The Toy Soldier drawn as a maned wolf. Its colors contrast strongly - pumpkin orange main body, cream underbelly, and dark brown along its back. The divisions between colors are clean and smooth. The Toy Solder’s dark facial markings resemble a curled mustache. Its expression is vaguely happy, and its eyes are white. End description six.]
[Image seven description: Gunpowder Tim drawn as a coyote. His eyes have a circuit pattern radiating from the bottom edge and midway onto his cheek. His fur is a few shades of brown, with the grey-est of them on his ears, the back of his neck, along his legs, and on the top of his muzzle. A richer dark brown is present on Tim’s throat, his tail, the backs of his legs, and on the bottom half of his face. His underbelly, inner ear, below his eyes, and a little on the back of his neck have a cream color. End description seven.]
[Image eight description: Raphaella la Cognizi drawn as a golden eagle. Her wings are mechanical and look to be made of bronze; each feather is separate from the next, with the quills connecting beneath the joints of the wings. She’s a golden brown color, with a darker shade on her underbelly, the edges of her tail feathers, and a streak from her eye to the middle of her neck. A lighter shade is present along her beak and in a fragmented stripe on her tail feathers. Raphaella’s arms and legs are a moderate yellow color. Her expression is vaguely happy or interested, and her eyes are a moderate blue-green. End description eight.]
[Image nine description: Marius von Raum drawn as a red fox. His main body is a dull orange, with some grey ticking on his tail and the back of his neck. His ears, the bottom and tip of his tail, and his muzzle are a near-black brown. Marius’s underbelly and part of his tail are cream-colored. He is smirking, and his eyes are dark brown. End description nine.]

With payload exposed:
The tank has only one objective: Reach the nearest open vault door, and drop a bomb into it. It's entire being is based around dropping the bomb. It is powered by a diesel engine, and the bomb is raised and lowered via hydraulics. For more information consult " Tf2 MVM Tank" on youtube.
HEY! Tank ratings are back and we're starting things off with a bang!
(Assuming you can't stop the one above in time)
It's not a tank in the most traditional sense, as it's actually a VBIED (a Vehicle Based Improvised Explosive Device)
Still it's got armor, tracks, and a way to kill things so it's close enough.
The "Tank" is well armored but slow, setting a pace that would make a British Churchill tank seem speedy. This isn't to much of a problem, since it can shrug off anything from grenades to rockets to entire hailstorms of bullets, requiring the combined fire of an entire team of mercenaries to stop one.
The sole armament of this lumbering damage sponge is a very large bomb mounted on a folding scaffold that unfurls to allow the bomb to be dropped straight down in front of the vehicle (perhaps it's a distant cousin on the bomb trapeze on the SBD Dauntless dive-bomber) .
A robot drives this tank, as seen in the dome with a horizontal blue slit in it. Given the massive frontal blind spot created by its position, I'll go out on a limb and say that navigates using pre-programmed, and that the vision slit is only for finding land marks and making sure it's facing the right way.
the Tank's overall design is very is very solid (if you look past the bomb scaffold), except for armored grill that leads to the bomb compartment. Them only reason I can think of for doing that is if you where routing the engine's air intake past the bomb, and had the radiator mounted in the hinged section. But why would you do that?
FINAL SCORES
Credibility: 7/10 - Ready For The A1 Model
Coolness: 6/10 - Forest MultiCam
It's credibility would be higher, but the bomb scaffold is to silly.
BONUS
This one's older than I thought it was, but it's still great

When it comes to non-human characters, I always start thinking about biology. So, I decided to write a little about Duros evolution, biology, and culture (speculation and headcanons based on official canon and legend facts) and make an illustration in the spirit of the encyclopedias from my childhood.
On the left you can see the pristine, still green and covered with deep clean oceans planet Duro, as it was at the dawn of sentient life. The reptiloid, which could have been the ancestor of modern Duros, has the external features of a lizard and a frog, but is warm-blooded. It is able to stand on its hind legs and quickly run short distances, has a fairly massive tail for balance. Its skin is tough but scaleless, and it sheds its skin like lizards. Its coloring provides good camouflage, and its large eyes, located on the sides of its head, provide a very wide field of vision. The muzzle is not elongated, since there is no nasal cavity. The vomeronasal organs, responsible for smell, are located under the eyes in the cavity of the cheekbones and open into the soft palate. Accordingly, these reptiles must stick out their tongue and then touch it to the palate if they want to sniff something carefully.
In my opinion, there are a number of signs indicating that the Duros ancestors were more prey than predators, and at the same time they themselves could have developed omnivory - this is the most advantageous strategy for survival. Small fangs, present in some individuals, do not contradict this at all - this can be seen in the example of Earth primates, even completely herbivorous ones. What you should pay attention to: large eyes with horizontal pupils (in the series, you can also notice that the eyes of the Neimoidians can even rotate so that the pupils remain parallel to the horizon). Such eyes are typical for animals for whom it is important to notice the approach of a predator in time. Another distinctive feature is a predominantly thin build and reduction of toes (there are certainly hints at this in the design of the Neimoidians) - this is typical for animals that have developed the ability to run fast. This, in turn, requires warm-bloodedness, the presence of a bird-type heart and huge lungs. I am sure that Duros have all of this, at least a hint of large lungs can be seen in the description of the physiology of Neimoidians, who have a very noticeable rapid breathing in a stressful situation (in addition, large lungs allow both species to speak and breathe without problems in the absence of a nose). Another sign is oily sweat, which, if an individual feels threatened, is secreted more abundantly and acquires a sharp, repulsive smell. This is a strategy clearly necessary for someone who could become prey. Its presence has become canon for Duros relatively recently, but initially something like this was mentioned for Neimoidians as well. The latter also react to stress or illness by turning their skin pale, up to pink, and I associate this with their ability to see in the infrared spectrum. This fact suggests that other members of the Duro fauna can also see thermal radiation, which would explain the reflex of draining blood from the skin when stressed or ill - this lowers the external body temperature and makes it easier to hide. I believe that the Duros also have this reflex, which originally arose in their ancestors, but the structure of their skin makes it less noticeable.
The next stage of evolution can be conditionally called Duros habilis; these reptiloids had a much more developed brain and had already mastered tools. Their binocular vision became clearer, and the structure of the pelvis changed to provide more perfect bipedality. Since childhood, I remembered the drawings of hypothetical reptiloids from books about dinosaurs, and now I believe that this is the evolutionary path that the Duro reptiles could have taken, so this evolutionary link has a non-random similarity with the dinosauroid. It may seem that it has less muscle mass, but this is actually a change in the ratio of muscle fibers, slightly reducing strength, but increasing endurance.
An upright individual, the closest ancestor of modern Duros, still has rudiments of claws and first and fourth toes, as well as a small tail. The appearance of claws in Duros and Neimoidians is an atavism, while the tail is present in larval stage and disappears during development due to autolysis (in my opinion, the grubs of both species resemble tadpoles adapted to a terrestrial lifestyle, that is, they initially have lungs and durable skin; while Duros have small limbs, the position of which changes as they turn into an adult, Neimoidians are born without limbs, only with a mobile muscular tail). This species could live in nomadic groups, mainly engaged in gathering and avoiding dangerous predatory fauna. Their brains increased significantly, since they needed good memory and orientation in space, they also made various, often multifunctional tools. The individual depicted here holds a spear, which could be used for defense or hunting small animals, as well as for cutting plants and harvesting fruit, or digging. The spear, like the breastplate of this so called Duros erectus, is made from fragments of the chitinous carapace of a giant beetle, and echoes of its use can still be seen thousands years later in the design of clothing (collars and pectorals) or weapons (Neimoidian vibro mace). The clothing of this upright Duros is made from the skin of some other reptile. Cloaks and capes also became traditional clothing early on, as it was important for a species to cover its back in order to avoid being wounded by predators.
The second image shows the planet Duro already damaged by industrialization; and here you can see a noble Duros from the early era of space expansion. The signs of his status are jewelry, especially rings (they were apparently a status symbol for the monarch, too, judging by the decorated hand of the lost king of Duro). While green was initially the most common skin color among Duros, in civilized society there was no vital need for protective coloring, and blue shades were increasingly no longer a rarity - perhaps, on the contrary, they began to be found more attractive due to their unusualness. Modern Duros differ from their closest ancestors in their smoother, longer face and, of course, in brain volume, as well as in the complete absence of a tail in adulthood. Otherwise, the body type remained slim and athletic (and traditional Duros dances are designed to demonstrate the agility and endurance that were so necessary for the survival of their ancestors - they are very energetic, include many jumps and other acrobatic elements). The modern species, apparently, retained the mentality of their ancestors - caution, avoidance of danger, easy-going and a tendency to escape from bad conditions. Therefore, most of them began to leave the polluted planet, and excellent memory, spatial thinking and the ability to quickly navigate and react, laid down genetically, made many Duros gifted navigators and pilots. Their people can also boast a large number of explorers and discoverers.
The colonization of various worlds by the Duros led to the emergence of new species, but so far we only know about one of them - the Neimoidians. I left a question mark where I still hope to see other branches of evolution in the future (of course, I can theorize that the Kyuzo and the Roonans also descended from the Duros, but it is not a fact that this will be confirmed).
It could be said that evolution in a galaxy far, far away happens at an unrealistically fast rate, in a time frame that is insufficient for mutations to accumulate and for speciation to occur. In this regard, the emergence of the Neimoidians is a surprisingly realistic story - if you look at their upbringing system, they are, in fact, the result of selection, deliberately organized intraspecific selection. Perhaps Neimoidia was an unsuccessful planet for terraforming, and its colonizers chose a strategy of changing themselves in order to survive. The external differences between the two species are not so expressive. Neimoidians look more robust due to thick bones and pronounced bony protuberances, which may be a consequence of the high gravity. Their large eyes provide better vision, necessary in the foggy atmosphere, and they have a slightly different shape of teeth (but not their number) - the enlargement of the molars is associated with a large amount of mushrooms in their diet. Also, I believe their lungs have become even more capacious, and the fact that their intense breathing under stress is noticeable despite the multi-layered clothing is explained by this, and not only by the fact that they breathe like lizards, using intercostal muscles rather than the diaphragm. I don't know about Neimoidia, but Cato Neimoidia should definitely have thin air. The main difference between the two species, which allows us to consider them not just two races, is in reproduction and development. The system of intraspecific selection has also changed the mentality of the Neimoidians, for whom it is still important to avoid troubles, but they prefer not to risk searching for better living conditions, but to create them on the spot. Although their priority baceme a sedentary, stable and measured way of life, they inherit those qualities of their ancestors that make many of them quite outstanding captains of spaceships. Their people are more inclined to follow traditions and take pride in their culture, and also believe that they do not repeat the mistakes of the Duros in relation to their worlds. The noble Neimoidian depicted in the right against the background of his home planet has a belt with an image of a sacred beetle. In the formation of the Neimoidian civilization, as once for the civilization of the Duros, giant semi-sentient beetles play a significant role, performing important work in the sphere of food production.
In the upper right corner is a modern Duros in front of an orbital city, one of twenty located around his home planet, now almost uninhabitable. You can see that over the course of several thousand years, some changes have taken place - the head has become even larger, especially the braincase, and the face has become flatter. Blue coloration has continued to become widespread and acquire quite bright shades that could not originally appear in nature. In my opinion, the Duros, who have a wide variety of shades of blue, lilac and turquoise skin, are colored structurally, like Earth reptiles and birds, so some of them have skin color that may look different depending on the lighting. The Neimoidians, on the other hand, lack blue color completely, which can be easily explained by the different structure of their skin. Modern Duros are not too concerned with tradition and often dress practically, but jewelry in the form of rings remains quite popular.

[ id: a thin divider made up of an image multiple dark red flowers scattered on a dark background. On the top and bottom of the image, there are thin dark red lines that act as a border. /end id ]
Watchersatelladeo: An alterhuman term under the satelladeo (link) umbrella where one is a satellite of the Watchers (Life Series / Evo SMP). This can be due to being a devotee, a manifestation of their powers, being influenced by them, or any other reason one can think of.

ok i'm biting the bullet for the team, it's kinktober after all. ahem, the words for the ask game - kiss, lips, thighs, fingers, sex
trying to list all the body parts that could participate in the horizontal tango without going too explicit 🤓
Hahaha, OKAY!
-
Another snippet from the weird roleplay cruising fic:
And Lestat surges up then, mouth aiming for Louis’, and he’s fast, always, but this time, Louis’ faster. He grabs a fistful of blond hair, tugs, hard, until Lestat holds steady and he can feel it - - Lestat’s hot, wet breath on his chin.
“I don’t kiss boys steppin’ out on their husbands,” he says, his voice low and firm, and Lestat blinks wild eyes back up at him, pupils blown from the coke or the chase or just this, Louis doesn’t have it in him to care. He lets his lips twitch into something like a smirk. Leans in close enough to run the tip of his nose across Lestat’s sharp cheekbone on his way towards his ear. When he gets there, he lets his tongue dart out, flick at his lobe just to feel Lestat squirm underneath him, before he adds: “I fuck ‘em though.”
-
Reunion fic
“What’d it feel like? In my head?” Louis asks, glancing up at him. “Back when I was mortal?”
Lestat blinks at him, like the question’s surprised him, and he parts his lips only to close them again when Louis turns properly to face him.
“No romance, Lestat. Just. Real. What did it feel like in there to you?”
-
Also Reunion fic
The slacks are too big for him. Fabric hanging like curtains down Lestat’s skinny thighs, and Louis half wonders if they’d fall down entirely if Lestat let go of the waistband. Still, there’s the belt, Louis thinks, his hands moving to grip it, and it’s designed for a larger man too, the notches not running down far enough to do much of anything for Lestat, and it’s a memory Louis can’t bear to linger on. The fact that he knows where to sink a fang into the leather of it, where to place another notch to fit the slender waist of the man he once called husband.
-
Louis-photography fic
Louis hooks two fingers through the suspender, blood pooling behind his molars at the heat radiating off Lestat’s skin as he tugs the elastic back as far as it’ll go, testing the give of it and the fit of the garter belt. When it doesn’t shift, the lace sitting snug around Lestat’s narrow hips, he releases it, the snap of the suspender against Lestat’s milky thigh almost as satisfying as Lestat’s breathless little gasp.
-
Lestat-POV BDSM-weirdness fic
“What is it?” Lestat asks, voice low so as not to alert Bertrand and Valentin to his question, watching as Nicki tilts the book towards the candlelight, needing the illumination of it to read.
“Pornographie,” Nicki tells him after a moment, flicking through the pages of the book. “A new libertine writer, the Marquis de Sade, he writes about sex like Satan himself. Weren’t some of the players talking about him last week during rehearsals?”
Send me a word and if it's in my WIP, I'll post a little something

The other public domain characters I made while listening to the How To Train Your Dragon books since I can't pay attention to audio unless I'm doing something else, like drawing.
The image descriptions have finally been added two months later because I forgot this post existed as soon as I made it.
all of these character designs and art are public domain because I say so. They'll also be uploaded to the internet archive tomorrow and I'll add a link so you can download the HD versions there. Feel free to download these awhile if you want, though tumblr will kill some of the quality.
some of the colors might look weird because my phone really enjoys lying to me about what colors actually look like, especially purples and pinks for some reason??
anyways you'll also be able to download the lineart for these when I upload them all tomorrow so you can make your own :)
(they are all public domain, I only thought to add that to the image itself after already making some of them)
Cat people
[ID: Seven digital drawings using the same line art, showing an anthropomorphic lion with a short, spiky mane, with different fur colors and designs, against a grey background. The character is shown largest standing facing the front with arms and legs to the sides, then smaller showing the back, with a larger version of one eye in the top corner, and a close up of the front of a lower leg and paw on one side. The first design has black and blue fur, with a cyan mane, a cyan stripe down the spine, and on the tuft of fur at the end of the tail. The belly, most of the tail, and the lower limbs are medium blue, with the torso and face in black, with vertical black lines on the legs, and horizontal black stripes on the arms. The paw pads are cyan, as is the iris, which is surrounded by black sclera. The second design is light purple, with pale yellow stripes that radiate out from the belly. The hands, feet, and tuft on the tail are dark purple, with thin stripes on the ankles and wrists, with one colored in pale yellow. The eye has a gold iris. The rest of the designs have the same lineart, but now also say "public domain" in large white digital handwriting, with a smiley face. The third design is monochrome grey, with sections at each movable joint that looks like mechanical hosing to allow movement. There are joints on the fingers, wrist, elbow, shoulder, torso, waist, hips, knees, ankles, and all along the tail. The iris is gold. The fourth design is like a harlequin outfit, in pink, white, and orange, with an orange V shaped stripe for the belly, splitting half the body into a white torso, with pink paws and half the face pink, and the other half of the torso pink with white paws and that side of the face white. The mane and tail are white with thin orange stripes, and there are thick orange zig-zagging stripes at below the knee and above the elbow. The fifth design has a base color of white, with deep brown markings that form a hollow heart in the center of the chest, with curved lines radiating outward, connecting to a solid heart on the back. The hips have solid hearts on the sides, with more curved lines radiating away from them like a spider web. The face has the center brown, and more lines framing the eyes. The tail is mostly white, but with a large patch of brown towards the end, brown stripes, and a brown tuft of fur on the end. The eye is peachy orange. The sixth design is half black, with blue and light grey stripes, and half grey with black and green stripes, with the tail black with white stripes, and the tuft of fur on the end half blue and half green. One eye is blue with a black pupil, the other is green with a gold pupil. The seventh design is in shades of tan, warm brown, teal, orange, and rusty-red. The Face, hands, legs, tail, and belly are in brown, with a zig-zag diamond pattern for the belly, and blue spots on the face, outlining the eyes, and larger matching blue spots on the arms and legs. On the wrists and ankles are two thin red stripes, and on the shoulders and hips are a blue stripe followed by two orange stripes. The iris is red-pink. End ID.]
Dragons / giant winged fantasy cats.
[ID: Five simple digital drawings of dragons using the same lineart, posed at the end of jumping through the air with the front feet on the ground, the back legs behind it, and feathered wings slightly open. They each have rounded ears, a large nose, and a skinny tail. The first is red with black wings and black stripes down the spine, with tiny black spots, and red spots on the black wings. Above it is another version of the same dragon, sitting and looking to the side. The second is in different shades of blue, with a white belly, and some black stripes on its legs, and wavy squiggly stripes on the wings. Along its back are thin white stripes. The third design is pink, with purple speckles, and bright green and seafoam green feet, with a green face with a dark spot in the center. Above it as a reference is a simple fourlegged alien in the same colors, with a single large eye for a face. The fourth design is greyscale, with a light grey body with white wavy stripes, and darker wings in a gradient from black to dark grey with thin white feather-outlines separating eachcolor. The fifth design is a simpler version of the one before it, but with a red body and only a few of the white stripes. End ID.]
werewolves. including two based on our cats. no one else wanted to hold still enough to act as a reference before I finished the books lol. The last one I'd just started.
[ID: Six digital drawings of werewolves. The first design is a hasty scribble of a bipedal werewolf, standing in a pose like it has just stopped running and is looking back over its shoulder. It has mostly black fur, with a purple belly, chin, and on the inside of its ears. Its wrists, face, cheeks, and tailtip are white, with three white stripes on its torso like ribs. Its eyes are purple. The second image has the design from the first smaller and above a quadrupedal design for the same character, with the same colors and pattern, now on all fours, with a slightly more realistic animal shape, with fluffy fur. Each following design shows both forms, the simple bipedal, and the more detailed quadrupedal. The third design is labeled, "Eclipse", and is made to resemble a tuxedo cat, who is mostly black, except for a white belly, unevel white legs, with the white reaching higher on the hind legs, and white on the chin and under one eye, with yellow eyes. The fourth design is meant to match a grey tabby, with grey fur with darker grey spots, a tan belly, a light grey face, and a very dark stripe down the spine, forming stripes on the tail. It is labeled, "Kairiz". The fifth design has dark green fur, with black and grey stripes down the spine and on the legs, with a white belly, and bright yellow eyes. The last design is teal, with tan on the shoulders down to the knee, where it changes to darker tan, like wet sand. The eyes for this design are not colored in. End ID.]
