Extras compilation for anime only viewers

I decided to make a compilation of all extra comics and material that is safe to read and here is the first part of that. “By safe to read” I mean stuff that don’t have spoiler or is not too closely connected to stuff that will be shown in Season 2. That means most of it are more fun stuff featuring the characters, backstory for some minor character and small expansions on the backstories that already featured in season 1. Most of it was published after chapter 52 (season 1’s stopping point), but I made sure to check none of it is spoiler despite that.

There it is, all non spoiler extra material about the main characters I could find. Well, the ones with some narrative content, Kui makes too many random illustration for me to shuffle through, at least for now. Hopefully I didn’t miss anything. I hope it is interesting or useful for someone. Next it should be the other characters, hopefully it will be a bit easier.

Chilchuck analysis speedrun: As a hardworking half-foot who grew up poor and discriminated against and had his gullibility taken advantage of multiple times in his early adventuring days, Chilchuck thinks optimism is a dangerous flaw. He’s stressed and strict all the time because his job is noticing details like traps that could get everyone killed before anyone knows it, he takes the lives of everyone to be on his shoulders, and with the way he speaks about it that probably partly reflects how he felt about taking it upon himself to provide for his family too. His life’s always been pretty centered around work and has become even moreso now that his wife left and everyone is independent, and due to past events he’s very iffy with bonding with coworkers. He thinks feelings and job are a disaster mix. Like with his wife or with parties hiring him as sacrifice, being open or having good faith is vulnerability which can get you hurt, so he processes and shows all his stress as anger instead of worry. Doing strict dieting probably isn’t helping the irritability what with hunger, and on top of being a hunger suppressant alcohol might be the main stress reliever he has.

I love the QSMP. Not only has it introduced me to many amazing international creators, it's also introduced me to the French and Brazilian community, who are so sweet, funny, and chaotic in their own unique ways. I love seeing fans sharing their culture and learning from one another, and I myself have learned a lot this past year. I think it's incredible how QSMP brings so many different people together – all of us united in our love and passion for this project and its goals.

But passion can often evoke strong emotions, and these strong emotions aren't always positive.

The past few months, I have seen multiple waves of hate, bad-faith generalizations of communities, and racist remarks directed at fellow fans – especially those who are part of the French / Brazilian community. This kind of behavior is inexcusable, and is in direct conflict with the mission of QSMP, which is to break language barriers and unite communities.

We are a global community with a variety of people from different backgrounds. Miscommunications may occasionally occur because of cultural differences and/or language barriers, but we should use these moments as opportunities to learn and engage with other people rather than assuming the worst about them and starting fights.

Although certain issues can be resolved with communication, sometimes it’s better to block and move on. Avoid spreading negativity or hate, and save yourself the headache of interacting with people who are just looking for someone to argue with.

No matter what community we're a part of or what languages we speak, we're all here to have fun. Please remember to be kind to each other. We have more in common than we have in conflict.

Just a bit of lore relevant vent art (with terrible proportions bc apparently I mess that up horribly when I'm tired ugh. Watch me regret posting this tomorrow. The head size is already driving me mad bc it's too big, and I can feel myself wanting to abort this mission already) of Mourynn just, lying down on top of one of those large elevated Pale Tree roots far above the Grove (and far away from everyone else), and during the time between the early years and before the Personal story. Caithe is gone (Destiny's Edge), Wynne is gone (bc well, y'know...), even Faolain is gone (bc of Caithe in DE), and she's just feeling miserable, lost, and alone. (Her hair is in between her sapling hair and the Zhaitan hair, so it's grown out a bit bc she's depressed, and she's meant to be in the new outfit she designed, but I'm in the process of redesigning it a bit, so I've made a few tentative changes for now. Her collar is now just an extension of her clavicle leaves which can be put up like a collar, or can be draped down over her shoulders or back)

help im trying to concentrate on writing an essay but my brain wont stop thinking about an In Stars And Time AU where after everything the color red just... stuck around?? like, the world isn't ending anymore but its still there for some reason and all of a sudden some things are red, or what they would call 'the color'. like they wouldn't notice at first cause you don't find it in the sky but they pass by an unpainted brick house or something and its just.. red? and the person who owns it or has noticed first is just like 'yeah it happened a little bit after we all got unfrozen and it just stayed like that.'

imagining the introduction of a weird shade on a whole set of people and how it would influence things, vanguard add bits of red to everything cause its cool and new and i just have to wonder how the group would take it cause on one hand it could be a little triggering but on the other hand its cool when it doesn't mean the world is ending.

I need Steve to wear Eddie's vest in season 5. I need him to be getting ready for a big fight, he's got his trusty nail bat and he's even made a shitty copy of Eddie's nail shied.

He's about to leave when he spies the jacket hanging limp over his desk chair. He'd carefully washed it and haphazardly fixed any wear and tear with the old sewing kit he found in the hallway, but he hadn't had the guts to wear it.

Steve can hear Robin honking the horn outside his house, can practically feel her worry and impatience as he takes longer than he said he would.

Steve hovers his hand over the denim, his hand shaking as he gently picks it up and slips it on over the black fitted t-shirt he wore. (Robin told him he couldn't wear a sweater to battle.) It is instantly too much. It takes him back to the upside down. It reminds him of brown eyes and curly hair and a laugh so loud he was sure vecna could hear them coming. It reminds him of the sound of screaming and the feel of blood drying under his fingernails. Of once bright eyes turned dull and lifeless.

But it's also comforting. If he closes his eyes, he can pretend the weight on his shoulders is Eddie holding him and reassuring him that they'd be okay, that they'd see each other soon. It's a gentle reminder of what he's fighting for; of who he's fighting for.

Robin doesn't say anything when he runs out of the house carrying his nail weapons and wearing the vest. She gives him a small smile, Steve swears that's all he gets from her anymore. He hopes that when they win this once and for all, he'll see her smile at him with the power of the sun again.

He'll put the vest back on a hanger when (if) he gets home to keep it safe, to keep Eddie's memory alive. He'll wash the grime of battle off of it and hopefully never have to wear it into the upside down again.

What Steve doesn't expect is to be giving it back to the same person who gave it to him.

I am literally a week late but Mother’s Day is every day for those who have loving mothers/mother figures in their lives.

And as you see, Bellflower Bat is just that, not only to her two biological sons Milkweed(green bat baby) and Caidan “Caddy”(purple caterpillar baby), bet it’s difficult to figure out these boys’ dad😉😆 but to Howdy’s nephews Howdo and Youdo(still don’t know which is which) and also @dollpuppets adorable OC Allie Sweetie they see Bellflower as an aunt.

Bellflower is so happy to have hugs from some of her favorite kids in the Neighborhood and they are all happy to have her in their lives too.

So to all the mothers, aunts, grandmothers, potential mothers, and “mothers” to their pets I wish you all a lovely day today.

Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V Episode 1 "Dub-Uncut" (ENG Dub w/ JP OST) WIP #1 | Ladies & Gentlemen!

Soooo, after plugging away at this little project for more than a year, I'm pretty sure, I think I'm just about done with it--a "dub-uncut" take on ARC-V episode 1's dub! Like when I worked on those 5D's "dub-uncut" episodes, I find that there's some potential in the 4K/KCM dubs, but overall it's hampered by the dub's music [which especially hurts for ARC-V given the awesome score by Kotaro Nakagawa], some writing choices, and other little oddities/cuts. (I also did plan on trying to sub ARC-V up until Crunchyroll took the wheel on that, and I did want to do something with the work I'd put into prepping the OP/EN for that, lol; I think I actually started this a little in early 2022 at some point, but due to my SSD dying on me in October of that year, I pretty much lost everything and had to dig through what little backups I did to not start from scratch (I had to restart this though). This has also been an ongoing idea, since I did do a dub-with-JP-OST take on episode 10's first 10-or-so minutes years back.

Of course, since working on that version of episode 10, we now have things like UltimateVocalRemover out there to help with things like this, as well as Duel Links or Cross Duel (RIP) for better/more accurate takes on different lines. So, after using UVR to isolate episode 1's audio in both versions, I got to work piecing the dub back together with the JP OST/SFX, using lines from later episodes and Duel Links as helpful to make the dialogue more in line with the original; I'd been chipping away at it mostly for the past year, but worked a bit more on finalizing it and leveling the audio over the past few months to get it off the backburner, lol, along with revamping my subs for BelieveXBelieve and One Step (which I'll be showing off separately).

For this clip, I made Gongenzaka properly say his Monsters' names while tributing them by pulling audio from 138's dub (and one other); Yuya's "Ladies & Gentlemen!" and "Quick-Play Hippo Carnival" lines are from DL, and I found an AI-voice-generating site that had the voice of the Narrator from Pokemon's dub, which I thought would fit for the Action Duel narration before the OP. [Also, yes, I will be correcting every instance of "Zuzu" to "Yuzu" using lines with "you" in them because why.]

Lemme know what you think! I'll likely post another couple progress videos while I apply some finishing touches, and I should probably be posting about the full thing in the next week or two.
