Officially a year ago when I started watching Monster. It did take me about 6months to get through it but regardless I am feeling a little sentimental bc I never would have imagined these two guys would have such a strong grip on me?? Well first of all how am I supposed to not leave nice tags on your art when it's so cool!!! You're AMAZING at everything for a start like I watched you turn a stick figure into the most gorgeous drawing that belongs in a museum and it was incredible the whole time, I'm not exaggerating when I say I hurt my back from leaning over like a gargoyle to watch you draw lol and you always draw such cool stuff!!! Werewolves and cowboys and kross and don't get me STARTED on Enoch my specialest little guy!!!! He is like a beloved nephew to me and every day I am psychicly bullying Nightmare and Error into being good dads to him!!!

Writing Hiatus Wants To Battle (Upcoming Writing Hiatus)

Hey y'all! :D As of now, all of February has been written and scheduled out! Because of that, I've decided now was a good time to announce I'll be taking a break from posting fics in March, most likely April- and MAYBE May (hehe, maybe baby)

Candy Hearts will still come out as usual; this only applies to my usual 2x per week schedule <3 and I plan on being online! Time to finally answer all those asks! I just wanted to let y'all know now and give myself a bit of breathing room if that makes sense! Thank you all for being undestanding!

Friendly reminder that the Candy Heart event is open until Feb 14th 10 PM EST- so if you want one, send it in before then! So far everyone's prompts have just been- *chef's kiss* I love them all very much and been having the time of my life writing them all! Thank you again to everyone who has participated so far and to those who plan to! Writer Goal Ask List for the New Year

🛳 Are there any new ships you want to write for? (Platonic, romantic, or anything in between.)

Ooh, good question! I'm pretty focused on my storm dragon fave at the moment. 🤔I occasionally write gift fic for my friends, though, and some of them have new ships this year, so I am looking forward to bullying them with the written word when their birthdays hit. :3c

🐌 What is one of your smallest writing goals?

To write regularly. I work a full-time job and am in school, so sometimes my creative endeavors get lost amidst everything else. (Flashing back to when a friend late last year went, "Are you okay? You haven't touched your selfship fic in, like, two weeks" a;sdkfj)

💥Is there a chapter, scene, or WIP you're most excited to write? Share a snippet or tell us about it!

I'll talk about another Rynsura scene I'm excited about. My SI Ryn has a power called Storyteller, which will go through multiple evolutions as she gets stronger. At the moment, what she narrates, happens, so long as she has the power to make it so. (See: she can say an apple appeared in her bag, and there it is. She can't say an enemy stops in their tracks, however, unless she is already stronger than them.)

I'm excited for the first power-up, because not only will her power ramp up, but how she uses this ability will change, too. Eventually, she'll be able to will things into existence without even having to narrate her wishes out loud.

But... she's going to keep narrating out loud, out of habit and also to hide this development.

At some point, a bad guy is going to launch an attack when they think she's lost her voice. SURPRISE, she's actually still able to beat 'em up! :D

we don't get snow in florida (at least not my part. occasionally they'll get flurries up north by the florida/georgia state line) but we do get our own version after it rains sometimes:

anyway i took the shrimp out to play and as soon as i saw it i thought of you saying it was snowing, and i was like 'same! in a florida way lol'

Sadly the snow didn't lie here, it just kinda melted immediately (rip) but it will probably keep trying cause it's pretty cold here right now. Hopefully it will snow soon because otherwise it'll just be icy ground and I'm gonna break all my legs trying to get to work lol

i am not anti-media-piracy, in fact i support it heartily on the media preservation level, and i have mixed but partially positive feelings about it on the individual choice/saving money level...

but the way some people talk about piracy like it's a heroic thing to do - not in the preservation sense, but in the 'fuck companies!!! if i can get something for free and screw them over, I'm fighting capitalism!' sense - oh some people sound like real goobers with those arguments.
