Tomm.... you are a wonderful individual. Im not good at expressing myself clearly all the time, but you have changed my brain chemistry and you have changed my life. I owe you everything in the world for everything you've done. Just by simply existing.

You were one of the first remotely cool artists I had the courage of trying to interact with, and the interaction was so positive it encouraged me to branch out more. I always felt so encouraged and lifted up whenever I see you reblog one of my posts and you talk about what all you like about it, in specifics.

The fact we've gone from simply me being a huge fan of your work and drawing you on Artfight to be being considered friends is absolutely insane to me, and I would not have it any other way. You are the reason I have so many wonderful friends now, and my life has truly been changed for the better.

I figured I'd do something big for you. To show how much I appreciate and love your work.

I love the TSB lore so damn much. I've been investigating and trying to gather all the TSB lore (with some help... you know who you are), and knowing as much as I know now, the idea of a Mister Sandman animatic came to me naturally. Ever since hearing it on the playlist (back when it was still on it.... smh whyd you remove it /silly /nf) I had this very idea in my head, of Emmet meeting the Watchman and trying to get Pipedream to pay attention to him again.

The minor details of the lore may be slightly inaccurate, bc obviously I dont know everything, but the lore should at least align with what I know... but even despite the inaccuracies, i hope this brings you some joy Tomm <33

I started working on this animatic on December 27 and I finished it January 5. This is my first time ever making a song animatic, and I'll be honest, it encourages me to try making animatics more often 👁 maybe i should do them more often for my own silly lil creations... lala

Anyways, thank you for everything you've ever done, Tomm. You are such a great influence on me and my life and I wouldnt know what I'd do without you. I think Id probably be a lot sadder, thats for certain. My mental health certainly isnt great, but you and the wonderful people I've met after getting to be in your presence have certainly repaired some parts that needed repairing most. 💜💜💜

As for the puzzle :), the whole ARG is complete, venture in agents just remember not too overthink it. I wanted to make something special for such a wonderful community, as a little dedication to the agent and puzzle enthusiasts.🧩 It isn't fully IEYTD related but for those who like Polyblank and Johnny Stardust, I think you might wanna check this out. I hope this isn't too much for y'all or inconsiderate but I love OC interactions and wanted to make my attacks and revenges something special this time around, per usual of every year I participate in Artfight. Again I had so much joy creating these and hope I can doodle more little character interactions again , those are my favorites to draw ��

Hi anon, whoever you are. Thank you for reaching out to me and asking about the thing I've avoided for so long.

The thing is — I don't erase Kim's life out of Jimmy's. She is in my universe, yes. And she's also Abby's friend. I hope you're not accusing me of anything because you probably don't know the full story of Sunflawyer.

In my universe, Kim is dating my friend's OC, Missy. If you look at my ArtFight you can see a bit of Kim and Abby's interaction — Kim is Abby's supervisor in HHM. Missy is a paralegal working at HHM who had a big crush on Kim and eventually they started dating.

My friend (Mimi)'s universe also doesn't include Jimmy as Kim's canon partner - because in her universe, they're just friends. We're just two best friends dating another best friends.

I only wrote specifically about Jimmy and Abby in Abby's doc because its about them - not about anyone else. But Abby and I don't hate Kim, of course!! We love her and we adore her.

Yes, I did have a bad ccxcc interaction which made me traumatized, but I'm slowly letting it go, step by step, little by little.

Lovely folks... it is time for Art Summaries of the Years.

In this case, 2023 and 2024 both in one go, as I had forgotten to make one for 2023 at the end of the last year.

Thanks for sticking around during 2024 as well! Here's to hoping for a better new year, for everyone. Below the cut a little rant... a speech if you will.

In 2024 I also breached 1,000 followers on tumblr which, for me, was a crazy milestone to say the least! I've had this art blog since 2017? 2016 even? And I never thought I'd reach such an amount of followers here, but to be completely honest, I was even more excited than I was when I reached that number on twitter. Tumblr is far from perfect but I still do prefer it much more than that other site, lol.

This year I tried to experiment more with colors, dynamism, and drawing more gay stuff. I think I've gotten better at it. I also worked and FINISHED a COMIC! Never seen before stuff (if you haven't read it yet, smh... you should - it's very short and amateurish, but I'm happy with it). I hope to keep this ante up for the coming year. I've come to really be proud of my art after learning to have fun with it again.

I've gotten more confident with my anatomy and shapes after learning that sometimes to make my life easier tracing is okay, actually, especially since what I draw isn't for profit. Unfortunately commissions are permanently off the records since I work full-time as a freelancer, but I had fun with Artfight this year, even if I didn't draw as much as I did last year.

Getting into Baldur's Gate 3 was like a blessing and a curse at the same time and getting into VTM: Bloodlines was like actually a blessing. I think you can see the progression in this year's summary how caught up I got on it, there's like 3 pictures with Temerice on it and 2 with Ranx. Very funny.

I'm really grateful for how artfight reminds me that I'm actually a pretty good artist despite barely having 700 followers on my main art social media which I've been posting on for eight years (I've been drawing properly for 11 years) and getting 0 traction, no comments, 5-20 likes on a post if I'm lucky. A quarter of my following is just my sibling's following because they're a professional. If I put an ounce of care into my social media responses, I'd probably end up quitting art. But I do it for me, and by jove I do it for Artfight. Every July, I draw like a feral creature. The rest of the year I make about half of what I make for artfight.. total.

On Artfight my ratio is always greater than 50%, and I've commented on EVERY drawing I've ever received (except two who ignored my permissions). Plus, I've made friends... who I DON'T feel obligated to draw for and they don't feel obligated to draw for me.

I actually fucking love artfight and I'm proud of how far I've come with it. I LOVE looking back on my shitty attacks from the year that I first started learning digital art. I LOVE comparing them to the attacks that I'm GLOWING PROUD of now - attacks that for once in my life I actually care to watermark. I've been on artfight for MANY years now. I have over 1000 followers, over 100 profile comments, just under 250 defenses and what makes me feel really good is that I have almost 280 attacks. i.e, more attacks than defenses, despite my art and my profile being fairly popular (on artfight) and my hitlists getting over 250 responses this year and 150 last year. I'm putting numbers to give actual benchmarks for where I'm sitting now, after 8 damn years of fighting for this.

Trust me, first years. I had the most toxic, bittersweet, love-hate relationship with artfight for my first three years. It was not fucking easy. I barely got attacked. Half my drawings never got commented on, my ratio was always over 80%, buffered by friends from my high school and some chads from Wattpad (back in the days). I hated getting to the end of a week of artfight and dwelling on how "I drew all this" and "no one wants to draw my characters" and "my art sucks" and "no one attacks me first".

It's hard, it can be disappointing, but it gets so much better and really becomes properly rewarding over time if you just put yourself out there and do it all for YOU and YOURSELF. Draw like crazy. Improve like crazy. Learn new things. Interact. Go crazy bananas and make the most of it, even when it feels like you're not being seen. Advertise yourself on the discord in MAY next year, when the real G's are hanging around and the server is still quiet enough that you aren't posted over all the time. Join hitlists, make hitlists and add a compulsory "which character of mine do you like" question to make people actually look at your page and see how much much they like you/your ocs/your art.

Artfight is pretty awesome. It's hard not to get bogged down by high ratios, but trust me... it gets better. You just gotta do it for you. :) <3 If you're struggling to get defenses, remember you aren't alone and that if you keep fighting... one day in another fight in another year you're going to struggle to keep up with revenges and you're going to anguish over your ratio dropping. I hope you get some art that makes you cry happy tears this year <3

Colored Whole Jekyll drawing dump bc I've been preparing for art fight the past few days! This is gonna be my first year doing it (since I haven't had any OCs before this year) and I'm quite excited :3 (thank you @lesbianturrets for convincing me to do it >:3 ILY CHARLIE (also I hope you don't mind the tag 😭)) but yeah!!! I've already got Elias up, so I've been figuring this guy out, coloring and thinking how I'm gonna explain him and such.

Also, I love giving them color, despite them being in the mind scape, bc my ass can NOT color purely in blues, and I refuse to unless I really feel like torturing myself 🥰🥰
