oh, how difficult it was to keep your lips pressed in a straight line and keep your breath steady— when you could clearly feel two pairs of eyes on your sleeping form. sleeping on your side while facing these two was such a challenge.

sae's voice was incredibly low as he spoke to your son, words coming out raspy from how hard he tried to avoid waking you up. the constant shuffling of your son in the middle of the bed made your hands itch with the urge to ruffle his hair, even when your eyes were closed.

you felt another shift, this time a gentle finger pushing away a strand of your hair behind your ear. you'd recognise the touch anywhere, anyhow.

"ma is really pretty." you heard kenji mumble quietly. (that too at the softest volume ever, because he listens to his father and definitely wouldn't want to interrupt your sleep.)

"she is very pretty," sae sighed, staring at your relaxed face, eyes trailing from your eyelashes to your slightly parted lips as you breathed out. "she works hard for us every day, you know?"

your eyes slightly shifted once he said that, and you hoped he didn't notice.

you heard kenji whisper to his dad. "she's not really sleeping, is she?"

he whispered back to him. "nope, we will just wait until she gives up."

you fluttered your eyes open right after. your son giggled loudly and flung himself in your embrace, dragging the sheets underneath his body along with him. sae usually made the bed afterwards, anyway. "i knew it!"

"good morning, ken." you softly kissed the top of his head, flattening down the wild strands of red hair that became messy due to his weird sleeping positions. while your son gave you a very cheerful 'good morning' back, your gaze shifted towards your husband, who was already staring at you with his lips pressed in a line which almost looked like a small smile. "good morning, sae."

"good morning. we are too smart to fall for your tricks, just so you know." sae took your hand, pressing his lips against your soft skin. "did you sleep well?"

you nodded with a sleepy smile on your face. kenji whipped up his head from your chest to look as well, and he smiled too when he realised that you had gotten the rest you deserved after your long family trip yesterday.

sae calmly shifted out of the bed. he stretched, muscles still sore from how long he had to drive the previous day. he looked back at the cute sight of the two most important people in his life, eyes softening. "hey, ken. why don't you help me cook something for ma? you know what she likes for breakfast."

"i know, let's go!"

you watched sae quietly leave the bedroom with your excited son running after him, right on his footsteps, your heart swelling with love and your face bright with a smile.

reo and sora continued to walk outside hand in hand, towards the parking lot.

you called out to your husband while checking the house once more, mentally going through the things you carried in your purse just in case you missed anything. "reo, you better not let her choose one of the cars by saying eenie meenie minie mo or else—"

"too late, our ride has already been chosen!" your husband yelled happily from outside, his laugh echoing loudly as you came outside to find your daughter already seated in her favorite car of the day.

they were so identical. it was as if a piece of rin was present in akio, and a piece of akio was present in rin. both of them reminded you of each other.

once you came back downstairs, you quietly sneaked a glance towards the boys outside, hearing their muffled voices.

"oh, so you want to play like this?" rin said. the grin on his face made your eyes sting ever so slightly. he splashed some water towards your laughing son who waved his hands around to protect himself from the water.

this is exactly how you imagined rin to be a few years ago, and even though he didn't believe in himself much as a soon-to-be father that time— you knew he had found his safe place now.

HERO looked at you with his eyes slightly widened after you decided to give him a kiss on the cheek/lips. he immediately turns into a slightly blushing mess and laughs nervously, "gosh [READER]! at least let me know when you’ll kiss me, haha!" HERO half-joked, looking away to hide his red face. "sorry, sorry! i just wanted to let you know how much i love all that you’re doing for me!" you explained your excuse, to which HERO looked back at you with the same surprised look before smiling warmly. HERO is genuinely a bit surprised how attached you are with people, but doesn’t judge you for it. that’s who you are and he doesn’t want to change you at all because he loves you!

he does know that there are actual jerks out there who’s take advantage of how nice people are, so he wants you to be extra careful!

BASIL

BASIL is another touch starved one, and it’s pretty obvious. like AUBREY, he’d panic and be all flustered when you give him physical affection

he tries to calm himself down and slowly get used to all the love he gets from you, but he can’t help it! he appreciates all the attention and affection he gets from you but sometimes he gets overwhelmed easily, so make sure you start with him slowly

if you decide to kiss him, BASIL will immediately become all flustered and nervous. he’d excuse himself to the bathroom for a bit and once he does, he immediately tries to calm himself down. he can’t help but smile a tiny bit and cover his face in embarrassment

BASIL let’s out a tiny squeak as you one day decided to give him a kiss on the cheek/lips for how much he’s come so far. his face immediately turns all red and looks at you with a stunned look that said 'did you really just did that..?' you stifled out a tiny laugh and spoke, "sorry, sorry! i’m just really proud of you BASIL for how much you’ve come so far! i guess that was a bit too much for you, so i apologize..!" after you explained yourself, BASIL simply nodded and asked with such a meek and nervous tone, "sorry.. could you excuse me for a bit?" and immediately heads to the bathroom and locks himself in there. he couldn’t stop smiling and blushing for minutes!

BASIL is also surprised when he finds out you’re attached to people quite easily. he used to be somewhat the same four years ago and so he doesn’t judge you for it

although he’s closed off a bit now, he does secretly want to be your number one and never wants you to leave him for someone else

if you’re attached to someone else that isn’t him, BASIL will panic a tiny bit on the inside as he sweats more on the outside. he tries to reassure himself that you love him, so make sure his reassurance is correct!

MARI

MARI absolutely enjoys all of your affection! she’s pretty affectionate herself, so expect a lot of hugs and kisses on the forehead

she also uses words of affirmation as one of her love languages, so expect a lot of compliments and flirting coming from her!

if you decide to kiss her, she’ll blush a bit before smugly looking at you. she definitely tease you a bit just for fun before kissing you as well!

"oh my!" MARI had a bit of a surprised look on her face as she looks at what you did. you decided to give her a kiss on the cheek/lips for being the best girlfriend ever!! you stifled a laugh at her response but immediately recognize the smug look on her face and realized what you put yourself through. You smiled in return, and from the way you were chatting, it was clear you knew him. It made K’s blood boil the way his gaze flickered down to your low neckline. Maybe it was karmic retribution for not asking before dropping by your workplace, but he was ready to kill this guy nonetheless.

But this is K we’re talking about. He might be a jealous, lovesick idiot, but he has game.

K slides up to the counter, dropping a little gift bag on the counter as he takes a seat at the bar. When you notice his presence, you squeal with delight. K relishes at how obviously put-out the intruder is.

“K!” you say happily, reaching over the counter to pull him into an embrace.

“Hey, baby.” he says, enunciating the last word as if to prove a point. For a moment, it’s as if the other man isn’t even there, and that’s how he likes it. “Sorry, am I interrupting your conversation, hm?” he feigns politeness, rubbing your back with one of his large hands.

“Oh, no,” you say quickly, gesturing towards your company. “This is Fuma, one of my friends from uni.” He waves in a way that conveys disinterest.

“You her boyfriend?” he asks, and K turns to you with a smirk.”

“Am I?” he practically purrs, and you flush in the face, in disbelief that he’s making you answer instead.

“Yes, of course.” you say, face hot when he presses a kiss on your lips that lasts for just a second too long to remain classy.

“I think I’m gonna head out.” Fuma says, downing the rest of his drink and pointing to the door. “I’ll see you later, y/n.”

“Nice to meet you.” K says smugly, the man scowling as he exits. You turn to K in confusion after Fuma is out of sight, cocking your head.

“What’s up with you today?” you say obliviously. He leans over the counter easily to peck your cheek, sitting down and crossing his arms.

it was a rough week for elvis. between recording and planning another tour, not to mention being pestered all week by various members of his crew for something. he needed a break desperately and you could see it in his eyes, in the way he spoke to you and his body language. elvis was just tired. but that wasn't going to stop him from working hard. he never really knew how to stop, so many people depended on him for different things and he needed to get it all done.

you were going to take matters in to your own hands. calling everyone he was supposed to meet with the following day to say elvis couldn't make it or that he wasn't feeling well. you being elvis's girlfriend and elvis being extremely overprotective of you, nobody was going to argue with you when you asked for everyone to leave him alone for just a day, maybe a couple days even. later when you both settled in for the night, you wrapped your arms around him from behind, squeezing him slightly. "you have the day off tomorrow." you murmured.

he creeped over his shoulder, cocking an eyebrow. "what did you do?"

"i'm dating elvis presley, nobody wants to argue with me." you joked, burrying your face in his shoulder. "now go to sleep."

you let him sleep in the next morning, allowing yourself some time to plan out your day with elvis. you wanted him to relax, get him back into a good mindset. you realized it had been awhile since he regressed. it was only a few months ago when he first brought it up to you yet he'd only been little just a few times in your relationship, he was still shy about the whole thing but you didn't mind at all. of course, you didn't want to exactly, force him to regress but you knew it was something he needed. you had everything on hand; his bottle was sat in the cupboard, his favorite plushie sitting in a chair in the living room, a paci you recently bought was even shoved somewhere in the couch for elvis to mysteriously' find. the paci would be new for him, hopefully you weren't going too far by buying it for him.

elvis wandered down the stairs to the kitchen, smiling at the sight of you making him breakfast. "what's the occasion?" he asked, voice startling you from behind.

"oh christ, you scared me!" you jumped. "no occasion, just thought i'd spoil you a little."

he walked up behind you, muttering an apology and kissing the tip of your ear. "thank you, baby." he sat back at the table, rubbing the sleep from his eyes and running his fingers through his hair. as much as he loved that you asked for everyone to leave you alone today, he was now burdened with thoughts of all the work and favors he'd have to catch up on tomorrow. he wouldn't admit that to you though, never.

you made his usual eggs and bacon, less burnt than usual and giving him a glass of orange juice instead of his usual black coffee. he looked up at you, confused. "y'know, i love you and i love when you cook for me. but-"

"switching it up today." you interrupted, sitting close to him before picking up a fork and stabbing at the eggs with it. "open up!" you brought the fork up to his mouth, only to receive a concerned look from elvis in return. you let out a sigh. "c'mon, you love when i feed you."

"but-"

"enough buts! eat for me." you exclaimed, bringing the fork back to his mouth. he finally obliged, letting you feed the eggs to him.

after breakfast, you sent him back upstairs to wash up and meet you in the living room, where you'll begin operation get elvis to finally relax. you were disappointed to see elvis in the living room in regular clothing, not in his pajamas or anything. you looked at him, hands on your hips. "alright, now what am i doin' wrong? ain't this supposed to be my day?"

you shook your head. "why are you dressed like you're about to head out for the day? it's just me and you here, relax baby! put something more comfortable on."

he gave you another confused look, sinking into the couch with his arms crossed till he felt something nudge against his back. he turned around, eyes widening as he noticed the red pacifier in between the couch pillows. he picked it up, staring at it for a minute before shaking his head and setting it on the coffee table. you must have bought that for him at some point, maybe it was supposed to be a surprise for him but no, he won't slip, nope. absolutely not.

"elvis."

as he moved his eyes to you, he noticed his favorite brown bear sitting up in the chair across from him, propped up and staring right at him. that bear was supposed to be stored in his closet, hiding away from everyone for nobody to find. he felt bad for the stuffie sometimes, it must get scary sometimes with it being all dark and cold in there. he looked so lonely sitting on the chair. almost begging for elvis to come pick him up and hold him tightly. his eyes drifted back to the red pacifier sitting on the coffee table, staring at it and anxiously bouncing his leg up and down.

you sat next to him, wishing you could see what was on his mind. you didn't know he was fighting with the own thoughts in his head, refusing to slip right then and there. he didn't understand why he was so nervous to regress around you, he loved and trusted you more than anyone in his life. you had no issue taking care of him, playing the role as his mommy or his caregiver was never an issue for you even if you played that role only a few times. but you bought him a pacifier. he couldn't believe you would do that for him.

resting a hand on his knee, you squeezed it softly. "elvis." he turned his head to you, looking at you with glassy eyes as if something switched in his brain. "it's okay, baby." you reassured. he began to tear up, throwing his head against your shoulder and releasing sad, tired sobs. "oh my poor little prince, i know you're tired." you kissed the top of his head. "let's get your jammies on and sit for awhile, that sound good?"

he followed you up the stairs, hand in hand. you took him to the bedroom, where he sat on the bed waiting for you to bring out his clothes. "i did buy you something yesterday. if you don't want to wear it, that's okay." from the closet, you pulled out a pair of footie pajamas that were a bright shade of red with little stars decorated all over.

that was what did it for him, he was so lucky to have you. "for me?"

"for you, hon."

you helped him put them on, grinning at the overjoyed expression on his face as he began to settle into his headspace. "you didn't have to do this for me...."

"but i wanted to." you crouched down, taking his hands and looking up at him. "i wanted to because i love you and i want you to be happy. and do you know the other reason?"

"c-cos' 'm your baby." he replied, shyly.

you smiled at him. "that's right, cause you're my baby." you stood back up, taking his hand. "now, let's go relax."

once back downstairs, the two of you sat together. he rested his head in your lap, eyes focused on the tv with his teddy by his side. he subconsciously brought his thumb to his mouth, which you noticed immediately. "you want your paci, sweetie?" he nodded in response. you got it from the table, placing it in his mouth then going back to running your fingers through his hair gently. "thank you...mommy." he said softly against the pacifier.

"anything for you, my prince."

First of all, I am deeply, truly, sorry for disappearing on you guys like that, really. I owe you guys an explanation but tbh i just think im making excuses at this point. But i just wanna say that Im sorry. Im really really sorry…

I promised myself that i wont be active here again until april of next year (ill explain later as to why) but i thought id just drop in rq to notice you guys that im still here, alive and well, and fortunately not dead yet-

It's been so long since i last wrote any fanfic, and i havent written anything proper ever since 2 years ago, but i rlly miss being able to write,, it was one of my passion, and still is even tho i never wrote anything for the past years,,, id rlly like to come back and revive this dead writing blog once im finally free on april of 2023… I hope you guys will be able to welcome me back at that time with open arms (or just dropkick me for being so inactive i dont mind whichever ahhseilwnekdj)

I have an upcoming big exam next year from february to march 2023, an exam that will carve my path as an adult, which, if any of you malaysians seeing this, yes its SPM. U could say my whole career depends on this, hence why I've been so inactive on tumblr for the past years (and also some other reasons but thats one of it)

I know a lot of my moots have moved on, some still here and some have deactivated or delete their account and all i feel is,, regret. A lot of my moots are what helped me get through my darker moments during quarantine, and the fact that ill probably lose contact with them for forever is horrifying. I wish i had at least contacted them for one last time b4 i disappeared 2 years ago. I wish i was able to ask for their other socmed so that i can still contact them. It's stupid, i know, since I'm the one who disappeared on yall in the first place. I rlly, rlly, am sorry. I just hope you know that. 

I rlly miss you guys. I truly do. Its been so long. You guys are the sweetest people ive ever had the pleasure of knowing and im truly blessed by that fact. I srsly dont deserve you. Thank you, thank you, thank you, for always putting up with my antics and simpings, and always just,,, being the sweetest person ever. I truly dont deserve yall. You guys are the reason i still havent deleted or deactivated my acc. I just cant let go of you guys. Thats why i still keep this up even tho im hella inactive. So that i can still come back here, someday.

it reminds him of all the times he falls back to his friend group before, when he was (still is actually) the baby of the group. it made him feel so much guilt that he just felt like a burden to you

however, don’t give up, SUNNY will eventually give in to your parental caretaking. the cloud of guilt still lingers around him, but just let him know you want to take care of him.

you remind him of HERO, and you even earn a 'Wow…' from him. he likes to watch you cook and asks if he could wash the dishes for you, or at least do something to repay you

don’t baby him TOO much, he might get a bit annoyed. he’s thankful, yeah, but he’s not a baby that’s incapable of doing anything. it frustrates him if you won’t let him do anything on his own

i think he’d probably want to cook with you and not just wash dishes. what if one day you’re not there to take care of him? he’s gotta prepare his own food then. turn the cooking experience into a bonding experience!

he’d try to help with laundry if you do that as well, but probably does NOT know how to fold his clothes properly. ..teach him that too please. in fact, just teach him basic needs at this point. he’s trying his best at least.
